Awesome staff. Got an oil change. They are very timely.
The guys here were absolutely wonderful. As a single mom I dont have money to waste on unnecessary repairs. James was great and gave me some different quotes with different options. They were very fast and friendly. I have found my new auto care place. I will definitely be back for anything I need for my car.

This place definitely deserves five stars, if not more! Every time I come here for an oil change James and his staff are super friendly, and have taken excellent care of my vehicles. The shop does good, quality work at an affordable cost in a timely manner. I admire how honest they are about the work that needs to be done, and they’ve always been great about answering all of the questions I have relating to the work in question. I ended up loving this place so much, I convinced my father to give it a shot, and he’s a regular customer now too! We typically come here for oil changes, but over the summer my father had his AC serviced, and he couldn’t be happier. You and your vehicle are in good hands here!
This company has been serving my cars for about three years. Great customer service 👏 a company of second chances. For so many people that deserve it. I have spoken to a few that was given this start over, and are doing a great job. They work with me on what needs to be done. Precision Tune dont tell me that something needs fixing, and make it sound urgent, to take my money. Service is quick! Thank you 😊
I looked up this location only because it was near where I was purchasing a used car and I wanted to get it inspected before buying. Its a shame they are so far because I would make them my go-to mechanic. James and his team made me feel completely comfortable. They did a thorough inspection of the car and presented both the critical and non critical items. They worked pretty quickly and didnt try to upsell me too much. Kevin his mechanic was very courteous and the car is running great. Im so glad I found them. I understand James is the new manager there and it looks like he is really doing good things. Awesome team! Took my car to three different shops to troubleshoot my brakes why they were low and none could fix it! I took it to these folks and guess what? I’m happy they fix it for me. If you are looking for mechanics, try James and his team.
I went to go get my car fixed for an emissions test. They got it done in a day but were waiting for a part that was going to come the next day. As soon as I drive out my check engine light came on that i was trying to get rid of and maintenance required light came on and I spent over $2000 trying to get my car fixed. These people are not professional and they are going to tell you what you want to hear but will charge you and not even do the work what is that? If you are looking for a mechanic I suggest you do research and find people who actually know how to fix cars instead going to a mechanic where the employees argue with each other.
My breaks were in need of repair but I wasn’t sure where to take it. My friend suggested Precision. They did a great job. The price was fair and they we’re timely. I will definitely use them again!
Was on a weekend cruise and had a hose blow on me. Hose, coolant flush and thermostat were replaced quickly and parts were obtained fast for a 36 year old project car. There is a reason the place is busy, its quality work and down to earth people. As a car enthusiast I recognize a real mechanic shop when I encounter one. There is no upsell here. Id rather leave my car a little longer to ensure they had the time to assess the deeper problem and not just band aid a fix. I saw numerous vehicles in the bay from old to new and from domestic to import.Regarding the post relating to masks below, I did not have this issue. The receptionist had a mask on.
Brian, the manager, was polite and explained all that was going to be taken care of. They had my car and others done quickly. I would recommend to any one with their car needs to come here.
These guys are the real deal! Ive been to multiple mechanics that has charged me $2000+ for a problem that still persisted after (INCLUDING THE DEALERSHIP). These guys fixed my problem, in a affordable price, and it runs like how it used to. I never met a more reliable and trustworthy mechanic than the one I met with at this place. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Make sure you talk to James! James has my business from here on out. He will take care of your car business too.
Fast service, but there was a surprise price increase of $12 for the extra quart of oil I apparently needed. I should have been notified before proceeding with work. (I still would have paid it, but just as a courtesy).

This place is amazing! My husband and I brought our SUV (radiator was leaking) late in the day and James told us he would stay late that night to take a look at it and possibly even fix it same day! It was getting really late and the radiator had to be ordered from another facility, but they still fixed the car early the next day. They also checked the rest of the car and pumped up all the tires. They also matched the price from another local auto shop.Overall our experience at this place was great. James was very friendly and addressed our concerns promptly and was very understanding of our situation and willing to go extra mile to help. He truly cares and does his best for his customers. I would definitely bring my car back here if any issues arise in the future.
They completely ruined my boyfriends car when he took it in for a jammed ignition. It took them a month to fix it, and then when they tried to give the car back, his lights didnt turn on and his steering wheel didnt move. They claimed it was like that when he brought it in and it absolutely was not. If it was, they wouldnt have been able to move it into the bay to work on it.After several exchanges, the manager finally admitted they were having issues fixing the car but finally got it right. Well, my boyfriends brights no longer worked and the steering wheel was put in incorrectly.We brought it back, again, and they fixed half of the issue by correcting the steering wheel. It still isnt put in properly, but we were so sick of dealing with their incompetence that we gave up. His brights still dont work.The manager had the audacity to bribe him for a good review in exchange for a discounted or free oil chance but we dont feel comfortable letting them touch his car again for any reason.Please, do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else. And yes, he still had to pay.
So here’s the thing - it’s really hard to find a decent, honest, mechanic that will do quality work and not charge you an arm, a leg, and a drop of blood. I live close to this shop and own a foreign car. I found James to be kind, helpful, and enthusiastic about his shop. Moving him to this store was definitely a smart business decision and I’m just glad they are moments from my house. Thank you for stellar service!
This was my first visit and I must say, I was blown away by the customer service here. They were very quick and efficient with their diagnosis and repair. They gave me an estimated wait time of an hour, due to the amount of customers ahead of me, but they called within 30 minutes stating my car was ready. I am no longer having any trouble out of my car. The location is a plus, with multiple restaurants in walking distance. When you decide to check them out, make sure to ask for JIMMY! he was AMAZING!! They have definitely gained a loyal customer with me. I highly recommend them.
Came in for a Radiator flush and was attended with some of the best service ever had. The manager and the receptionist was very attentive to my needs very very polite. He was honest and very helpful. They definitely will continue to have my business in the near future.👌🏼👌🏼

Used to be a regular and stopped coming years back.. glad I gave them another shot!Update: 06/2021Just learned that James, the manager that was such a pleasure to do business with, is no longer in Gainesville. I’d dealt with him on several occasions in the last couple of years. being unfamiliar with the new management, all I can say is that I got what appeared to be an inflated repair estimate that included replacing ball joints which apparently were not needed, according to two other mechanics. It did need struts and control arms/sway bars but not the ball joints, difference of $1,000.00. Took it to North Hall Tire and they did a great job at a reasonable price. It likely was an honest mistake and I’m happy with the work Precision Tune did about two years ago replacing fuel injectors on one car we own, they replaced all rotors and brakes on a Ford Flex and an F150 and zero issues so far, we were promised lifetime brakes so hopefully that’s honored and hopefully their owners will be lucky enough to find a new manager that will be as honest and friendly as James seemed to be, I guess time will tell.Removing two stars for now based on the what appeared to be a bad estimate, if the brake warranties are honored and they stand behind their offer, I will be able to recommend them more wholeheartedly and will rate them higher accordingly.
James fantastic, he has been the manager for a few months no w, and Im sure he is there to stay! I have been visiting this location for a few years and I would recommend them to anyone! The are honest, friendly and genuinely care about their customers. One thing they are not is pushy! They tell you what they recommend and you never feel like they are holding you or your car hostage. This is a first for me for most places like this. The crew is knowledgeable and I can trust them if my wife had to come up for some automotive need. I think that says everything about who they are. Good people doing a great job and being a valuable asset to the community. Never have a second doubt, come and see these guys if you need some help with your car, you will be more than happy with your choice! I know I have been for the past 3-4 years!
These gentlemen were very helpful. They had Great customer service. From the time I dropped off my vehicle till the time I picked it up these gentlemen worked hard through rain sleet and snow, literally. Theyre work ethic may be hard to match. And the quality of service is impeccable. For half the price I was quoted at the other shops I had done my research on the guys beat out the competition in every way. God Bless your business fellas.
Facility has easy access. The manager we extremely friendly. Their charges are reasonable and service has always been great. Been using them for 8 or 9 years for oil changes and others services on multiple vehicles we have owned over the years.
First time here today but will definitely be a regular from now on. Super nice group, especially the manager, James. Its was super evident that they like to build a good client relationship and keep you coming back. Most importantly, my car is running great. Thanks guys!
These guys are the best! I brought in my old 1994 Toyota Camry which was smoking every time I drove it for more than 10 minutes, and they fixed all of the problems like brand new! I didnt have to go back for more fixes and it has been 2 years (and it still runs good)! Other mechanics might scam you and mess something up to get you to come back, but not these mechanics. I trust these guys with any car problem.

I literally drive from Atlanta to this location when I can just to get my oil changed. Super friendly , super helpful, best value and very professional. Staff is absolutely amazing. By far the best place Ive gotten work done to my ride. Highly recommend!

James and the crew here care about their customers. The first time I came in they looked over my car I just bought and were honest about its issues. They didnt charge me to look, I asked to pay them! I came back for my oil change and little concerns... I got oil leaks for dayyyys. Theyre the most honest and knowledgeable mechanics Ive ever met. They will pull you over and show you exactly what is going on under the hood. Ask them any questions about your vehicle, they are happy to answer them. Their pricing is more than fair and they earn their customer loyalty through their service.
They can change oil and filter cheaper than I can buy parts alone. Ive gone there for years.My deceased Dads antique, restored truck had been in the hands of 4 mechanics over six plus years trying to find the cause of engine stalling, no power, horrible mileage - a real alligator of a problem, even surviving an engine rebuild.James was quietly confident he could find it. Well, he did. Several small things that led to a big problem. Ive known many guys that knew some stuff, others that were technically educated. Every once in a very long while Id run across a real sharpshooter. James is only the 2nd. In decades of looking. Customer-centric! Attuned to cost. Communicative. Patient. Determined. Analytical. Detail-oriented (be prepared to write stuff down). Takes pride in his work and doing a job WELL and the FIRST time. And one of the most pleasant people Ive run across.In TWENTY YEARS, this truck has never run this good, even after a rebuild. Earned my business forever. No one else touches that truck from now on.Pride? Youve earned every bit of that, young man.
I would give 6 or 7 stars if I could. I had a special service that need to be done, and had called many other shops, but when I spoke to precision tune, they told me to head over there and that they wanted to help. They did a great job, and was done within minutes.I have had an oil change since, and had another special request (yea I know). These guys definitely get an A+ for customer service and quality of work. Stop by, you wont regret it
I am extremely satisfied with the job I had done and staff is very friendly. The technician pulled me to the side to explain in thorough detail the exact situation with my car, the work it needed, the degree of how critical each thing was and helped come to a comfortable, very reasonable price and got me out the door as quickly as possible. Ive been bringing my car here for a couple years now and every job they have done has been quick, affordable and lasted with no further problems. This is the only place I will be bringing my car to from now on.
James, the Manager, is very helpful and knowledgeable. I had front and rear brakes done and an oil change and I thought the charges were very fair and the quality work was done in a very reasonable amount of time. I will continue to use this location for all my vehicle needs.
The staff was very friendly and all of the work I needed done was handled in an extremely timely manner and I was personally shown the extent of the wear on my car parts that needed replaced before I was ever charged anything. Very open and honest.The manager at the time of my visit specifically went above and beyond for me when he really didnt have to.I really cant recommend this establishment enough.5/5!
If I could rate this zero stars I would. We had never been here but decided to try it out. My husband took our car to get an oil change and turns out they didn’t even change the oil. The only reason why we know they didn’t was because while my husband was driving the car the engine started to make a loud noise like a rock. My husband knows his way around a car(somewhat) he checked the oil and it was burnt black. He decided to change the oil himself. Our vehicle now needs a new motor but thank goodness our vehicle is still under warranty. I would not recommend this place.

I had a blown headgasket and a cracked head. I shopped around and found these guys at the last minute. They gave me a fantastic deal for a full engine replace for less than what other shops were charging for the heads. When they were done I was immediately able to take my truck on a road trip to VA with no incident. These guys are friendly, professional, and know what theyre doing, I highly recommend them for any work you need done! 11/5 stars!

I would rate higher if I could. I came here for an oil change and the manager, James, ended up being the one who took my payment. He went the extra mile and was very detailed on going through a maintenance inspection on the vehicle. Very honest guy and the team was ridiculously friendly. I know where I’ll be going first if I ever need work done to my vehicle.

After 20+ years in Johns Creek with the same car care provider (theyre not in Gainesville), I dreaded the thought of finding a place I could trust in my new hometown. Precision Tune Auto Care has proved to me they do quality work at a fair price without pressure to perform unnecessary work. I trust these guys and am very happy I found them. They work fast, are personable and know what customer service is all about. Theyve worked on my car twice and Im now a loyal customer. James, the manager, is a straight shooter who can work up front with customers and back in the shop with equal skill. If I could give them a 6 star review, I would. Theyre that good!

James is awesome. He is very professional over the phone and in person . He gave me a quote on the phone and stuck to the same price when I came into the store. He remembered who I was even though I came into the store a week after I called . It was just an full excellent experience. I recently moved from Chicago and read reviews about James before coming in. Everything said about James is accurate and more. He’s professional, courteous and explains everything in detail. I’ve been to MANY mechanics and dealerships and I would definitely recommend James and his Precision staff to ALL my friends and family!
They were really busy and were about to close in an hour. I had asked if they were able to check on my AC on my vehicle, I thought they wouldn’t because of how busy they were but they managed to make time. Funny story I took my car into get a oil change, took about 15 mins or so witch is great. Price was even better. I left jumped on the highway & my car started to lose power. I called back up there thinking they did something wrong & told them what was going on the manager James told me not to worry & to pull my car over where I was at & that he would come & take a look at it witch he did was very polite & helpful turns out my gas gauge was broke & I had run out of gas. He took to get a gas can & took me to the gas station. I am very thankful. Great guy.
I needed brake service for my work truck...James quoted a better price than any other shop I had gone to. The service was excellent and did not take as long as I had expected, and James even lowered the cost from the original quote. It is not the closest shop to my home but I will definitely use them for any future needs.

If I can give it a 10 star, I totally would. These are the most honest people I’ve met so far. I thought my brakes were up for a change(old team), And they checked it and were honest on telling me they were fine. Easily they could’ve taken my money but didn’t. Honestly this new team is best team there is!! Highly grateful.
This is my go to place for auto maintenance. It’s a busy place - always & they’re efficient, knowledgeable and accommodating. They’re serious about what they’re doing and just friendly enough to the customers. They have never pressured me to get something I didn’t come there for but keep me informed about upcoming maintenance.

Usually when a woman enters a autoshop they take advantage because we know nothing about cars and its easy to make money of women like us with zero car knowledge. However not this shop they are loyal, honest, trustworthy and make honest money I have never been so thankful in my life to have found this shop I am from Buffalo N.Y and had never had service like I did today straight to the point n honest didnt add hidden fees I had a light leak they clean it, did not charge me for the service! done and told me to comeback in a few days to make sure they where doing the correct job on my car to know what was leaking! What shop would ever do that let you leave without robbing you? NoneI just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart I am so happy to have found this shop.
I arrived Wednesday morning and had to leave vehicle due to work with a complaint of noise coming from front right wheel. Upon calling them back they were very friendly people, they told me they would inspect the vehicle and called me back about an hour and a half later. The mechanic (Jimmy) was beyond exceptional he not only told me what was wrong with my vehicle he showed me and to me thats makes a key difference in most shops. Jimmy went out of his way to make sure my vehicle was up and running safely on the road again. Along with telling me other issues he found on the vehicle as well as quoting me a price. Overall very friendly and interactive environment youre treated with respect and great service you just cant beat!

Absolutely the best service I have ever received at a mechanic shop. All of the mechanics (not just the one working on my car) were very friendly and did not make me feel like an idiot. I came in for an oil change, but a few more issues came to light and they were very helpful in explaining to me what was going on (even joking around which is refreshing).They mentioned that the previous management was not as it should have been, but now they are making strides to create a better business. If you had bad experience in the past, check this place out again. Would recommend to anyone with no hesitation!

Needed a lot of work done to my car. The guy James was very friendly and was willing to break down the stuff I needed to get fix and gave me the run down what everything was. He also let me look at the problems on my own car so I knew exactly what they worked on. Would definitely keep going back.
This was my first time using Precision, but Jimmy is the best mechanic I have ever met! He was so professional and honest. I had taken my car to a dealership one day last week and was told that it needed all these parts costing $2400! First of all I dont have that kind of money! So I went to Advance and had them check the codes and then we got the brake parts and my husband put them on but the codes would not go out so we thought maybe we did need some expensive parts. So when I took it to Precision, Jimmy drove it and used his scanner and found nothing wrong with the brakes and got all the codes to go out except the maintenance which I had the oil changed for $20 and that took care of that. So I am so pleased with them and I would recommend them for anyone! Especially for a woman who another mechanic might try to take advantage of thinking they are stupid! Everyone there is so nice!!

Great service! My go to place for oil change. Techs give you details on what was seen and/or done to the car , they even showed me a few things that needed attention. Quotes and service done in a timely manner. Oh and the location is right in town ; walking distance of multiple restaurants if maintenance takes a bit longer than expected. James and Brad were great in assisting me with my Lincoln. Went to 3 places prior and none of them could help me out. They were able to get me in right away. James was very organized and explained everything to the fullest. If you have any auto care that you need you should go see precision, they are great people.

Initially took my frontier to the local dealership, their quote for repairs seemed extraordinarily high. I came to get a second opinion at Precision and ended up saving 1200 dollars for the exact same service. 10/10 will be back if I ever need car repairs.

I drive 40 minutes to come here. The staff is great and very informative. Its also nice to be in and out in a timely matter as well as knowing I got quality work done by professionals. I highly recommend you try them as I know I Am Not an easy person to WOW And that they do consistently everytime!
The team at this Precision Tune was efficient, and knowledgeable. James was up front, and honest about repairs and diagnosis. It was nice to be treated like a human being at a mechanic for once. I work down the road from this shot, and will definitely bring my vehicle back.
It took me way too long to update this review but unfortunately I would not recommend this place for major repairs. We ended up going there so many times and having to go back and then having to find another shopPer their own admission they have charged us for parts that they never even put into our car. They ended up putting them in on a future visit. They said they change the spark plugs but did not.Look under stenneth Lewis. Theres more than once part we were charged for that never put into this truck. We never had it fixed because nobody ever diagnosed it properly. We had it over 6k in work less than 2k and it never worked. Youre own mouth said you had paid me for spark plugs. Every time you called at the end to charge more money and half it was never being used!
Very fast and to the point...very professional...the guys are great here...took us right in and even met the owner. Wish they could do everything to our vans. Even helpes put my child to sleep while waiting for our oil change. They go above and beyond their job and even found some small things wrong. My partner and I drove from Atlanta to check out a Mini Cooper at a neighboring car dealer.. a Mini Cooper that proved to be too dangerous to even be driven down the road. Our car need was immediate. We felt defeated after driving so far for a car that wasnt accurately depicted to us, but still decided to drive it around the corner to Precision just to get an idea of what we were dealing with.We were immediately helped by James who totally went above and beyond for us. Not only did he advise us not to purchase the vehicle, but he actually walked us through its issues so that we had that same knowledge moving forward with our search. He then went out of his way to personally call up another local car dealer who he knew and trusted- we drove over to Texas Trucks & Auto LLC (a gem of a car dealer in the Gainesville area) and we immediately saw the car we were looking for- drove it back to James at Precision, and he was right there helping us again.The thing that was so important to me was that James helped us map out a mental timeline of the repairs that will need to come with this new car. I cant express how much of a relief it was to know that someone had my back because they actually wanted to help out of the goodness of their heart. The whole vibe of this shop was wonderful too. All the mechanics working seemed to always be smiling and laughing with each other. Being around that environment in itself relieved so much of our stresses, which in turn had us smiling and laughing right their with them. They were constantly helping each other with lightheartedness, and that was really awesome to be around too.Had it not been for James at Precision, I would have driven home empty handed. At first glance, this is a small-time shop that doesnt mind control catch your eye, but once you go in, you would be amazed at the professional, timely service they provide, and how straightforward and honest they are about anything they do . I came in to get an oil change, and ended up coming back to them because of their great service and honesty. I came in for an oil change and ended up trusting them with a tune up, my brakes and roaters, and a transmission service. My car runs better than ever now and i give it all to the guys.... THEYRE AWESOME and I will be back!
I absolutely love this place and their employees. I have been coming here since about August of 2017 and I refuse to take my vehicle anywhere else. Customer service is always amazing, they are very time efficient/oriented on the task at hand, and I have never been treated badly by any employee. Was in town for an event, when I started having car issues. Thankfully James was super friendly, funny as hell, and helped me out a lot. He gave my car a full look through, changed my oil, fixed a few things up, and its been running great ever since! Thank you for being so helpful!
Avoid like the plague.These guys did ~$900 worth of services on my car when all I needed was a new battery. Even worse, my vehicle now operates worse than it did before I brought it to them. I have multiple cylinder misfires and probably a blown gasket, and this wasnt a problem until I got a tune up from these goons. I now have over $1,000 of repairs to make on my vehicle, essentially making it worthless for resale.This doesnt need to happen to you.To the owner of this business, I hope you bleed money until your business fails. Curses upon your establishment. People like you and your employees are the reason people cant trust mechanics with properly handling their vehicles. Because your business is operated by a bunch of underpaid amateurs who charge for overpriced services and still manage to do thousands of dollars worth of damages to peoples personal vehicles simply out of incompetence. I came in for a water pump leak that was too complex to do in my driveway (connected to the timing chain) after the repair was completed, they were quick to follow up and make sure I was satisfied with the repair.
I went in for a low tire pressure issue, but was a little put off by the guy at the front counter at first because he wasnt the friendliest. However, the staff found a major issue with my car butning oil which should be covered under my car warranty. If they wouldnt have found the issue, then I would have risked having major issues. The manager took really good care of me, explained things really well, and even showed me issues firsthand.

I was here 16mins. Got a synthetic oil change for an extremely good price! Techs were all friendly. Waiting air was clean and smelled clean. Need new chairs but ur not sitting there long! Went to Walmart to get a new battery after ours died in the parking lot. They came out and replaced it for us, which was great. Then they tested to make sure it was the battery and not the alternator. She told us that our alternator was about to go out, and since we are about to go on vacation, this was devastating. So we came to Precision for a second opinion, and the lead tech assured us that our car is fine. He was super nice, and didnt charge us a dime to look at it. We are so grateful!

Blown away by the customer service I received! I caught them on a very busy day, yet they still worked me in quickly and did a phenomenal job. They didnt try to sell me on stuff I didnt need, while at the same time were honest about things they found that might cause me problems later down the road. They went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction at what I found to be the lowest price in town. It was my first time using this business and it definitely wont be the last! Im a women and older..its hard to find a trust worthy auto mechanic.I found one right down the street!James is honest and never stears me wrong.Always at a reasonable price . It was one of the worst automotive experiences ever. I waited 4.5 hours for an oil change and tune-up and another 2 hours for an a/c system estimate, and they had the nerve to charge me $60.00 for the estimate. Basically, i waited 6.5 hours and was charged $400.00. No, Im not exaggerating - bloody awful!

I went in to have my oil changed - this is about the 5th time....and every single time I am ready to role more quickly than the 20 minutes first estimated. James is incredible! Pointed out a few things that need attention AND used his test equipment to trouble shoot a fuse issue AFTER I paid and was ready to leave. He charged nothing to identify a problem that has been plaguing me for a month. This place sucks!! This summer my van broke down right in front of their shop so they helped me get into their shop. They told me I needed coil packs and spark plugs. They said they installed 8 new coil packs and plugs. Today the mechanic I would normally use has my van because it was doing the same thing again. He showed me the plugs they put in my van. 8 plugs and 3 different brand and sizes of plugs. The coils were not new either. They charged me $850 for repairs. My mechanic showed me what hes putting in my van for $350. Do not trust these guys to do the job right .Less than 6 months and im paying for the job again

Well I was at Precision Tuesday 13 2021 my Engine light and My car was reading engine power reduced and 1st James Blair the Manager told me I had two codes, but he knew for sure what the problem was because his mother had the same car with the same issue so he was so sure, but anyway he told me it would be about 2 something then later he came back to tell it would be 500 something dollars money that I already did not have I felt like they played me and now today Monday 19 2021 I am back here, and they are trying to get me to pay more for something that they missed up because now my car is Now my car is cutting off while driving I have three kids three small kids, and it is hot outside and now my air Is not working as it was before they worked on my car this is not right, and I’m telling you do not go there they will rip you off I will be putting this on Facebook The only good thing I will say is they gave me a ride but be smart and don’t go to them

They charged me $280.00 for a $30 job. And showed me a part that wasnt even mine. I hope karma catches up with them! Great customer service the district manager tell me to call her and the phone rings into a busy signal that means she blocked my call before I even called her. Boy real classy place! Lol
I was extremely nervous about coming here. I usually go to my mechanic in Lilburn but my husband recommended this place since its closer. My throttle body went out & it also damaged the fuel system. Precision charged me a whopping $775. Though I think that is expensive as hell, my car is fixed. It almost seems better than it was originally. Runs very smooth & they completed the full repair in about 2-3 hours. Everything was done in that time span, even retrieving the replacement part. What I appreciated most about my experience was that everyone was polite. Very helpful. Vernell is awesome & always cheerful.
The previous manager was not very helpful dealing with a brake job that they did on my truck where a bolt was left out of one of the calipers and did some damage to my wheel. Meagan and her manager handled this situation very well and made it right with me to where I am very satisfied. Im glad they are under new management and treating their customers fairly.

Ive always been overly skeptical when it comes to auto mechanics because Ive been taken advantage of in the past, but the guys at Precision are trustworthy and always do good work. I had a weird smell coming from the vents when the heater was on. I changed the air filter myself but it turns out it was just a rats nest in the engine lol.Thanks a lot!

Good service. They forgot to reset my oil indicator, so I took it back and they fixed it. Tried to get me to spend extra money trekking me my transmission fluid was extremely dirty, but I left and had it checked immediately and there was nothing wrong with my transmission fluid.

1/10 totally wouldn’t recommend going here, they have tried to sabotage my moms braking fluid, told her when she drives home let it sit there and dont drive, so when we do itll brake down itself and have to take it there and take more money from us, we took it to another mechanic shop, ANOTHER mechanic opened it and it was leaking breaking fluid... these people do not care about your safety, only want to sabotage you for money, we have video of it leaking too,. We have video of our braking fluid leaking. Dont know if they did it because we are latino but yeah you’re better off going to another mechanic, dont trust these people they will take your money and not even do the job right for you can go back and take even more.

On our way to the GA mts, we pulled over to check out a disturbing noise under the car. We discovered the splashguard (undercarriage cover) of our car was hanging, dragging on the highway. We checked with Siri for places in Gainesville that might help us. All were closed or didnt do repairs. Asking one who couldnt help us for a suggestion, Precision was mentioned. Called Precision - what a godsend! Though it was 5 minutes to closing, they agreed to wait for us to come. Arriving about 15 minutes later, the mechanics were friendly, quickly noted that some clips were missing that should have been holding the piece on, and took off the piece so we could continue on our way (we carried it with us). This very generous and kind team didnt even charge us for their help.Wish we had this kind of customer service in our area. Thanks for helping us out of a real jam! Cant recommend them highly enough!

I visited this location to have my oil changed. However, I proceeded to go to another shop just down the street. I didnt feel comfortable nor safe at your location after witnessing Jimmy arguing with what I assume was his significant other. I will not return to your business until the employee is no longer there.
They were alright. The tech checking me in wasnt the friendliest and oil change took 45 minutes. But, they were open later than the usual place I go and the price was decent.

CONSUMER BEWARE!!! This is to let you know you need to check behind ppl when you go have things done on your car.I took my 2005 Chrysler PT for an oil change in 5/2017 @ Precision, which was where I took all my cars. No issues thus far but I had my hubby check and there was a stripped bolt put on at the time of the oil change and they failed to inform me at the time. Fast forward to today, 7/3/2017. I took the PT back to Precision for another oil change but this time I knew the bolt was stripped so I was waiting to see if after the oil change someone would tell me....Nope, that didnt happen. So the manager bring in my keys and tells me that Im ready to check out BUT I bring to his attention-how did you remove the stripped bolt and did you put the stripped bolt back on the car. He answer was-yes, he put it back on. So I informed him that if this was done there, why not replace it I mean the customer should be satisfied but he says I would have to pay 12.00 to replace the bolt that they stripped and this came from the manager. So then I ask for him to check the records of the last visit to find out who did this and the female employee says Chance is no longer with the company (convenient to blame someone thats not there to defend themselves) but then the manager proceeds to tell me that he was incarcerated, front of other customers. This will be the last time Precision touch any of my vehicles EVER...*Please check their work and dont take what service they say is done as done properly*
Had a transmission put in, these jokers forgot to put back in all the bolts as well as not even bolting in my dipstick causing it to leak and damaging the transmission. Then they refused to take responsibility for their mistake. Wouldnt recommend anyone to this shady shop.
We had a breakdown on the weekend in Gainesville and no dealerships were open for repair. We found Precision Auto Tune online and they were close to where we broke down. James did a great job of explaining the problem and getting us back on the road.

I rather give this company no stars seeing as how one of their incapable techs could have had my sister killed on the highway. She came in for an oil change and the tech NEGLECTED TO LATCH HER HOOD. WHO TF DOES THAT? A sensor never pinged to alert her and as she was driving down 985 and her hood flew open into her windshield and she ran off the road. Shattered the windshield and completely wrecked her hood. Our family has always used this company for oil changes but never again after this mess. HIRE SOME BETTER HELP!

First, I wish there was an option for zero or negative stars. The amount of unprofessionalism presented to customers is a top priority for precision tune auto care. I will never return here and try to prevent anyone else from using their services due to the amount of time I wasted at this monstracity of a facility. I presented my vechicle to their technician about a possible AC recharge. The first attempt to fix my problem came at the expense of a new AC compressor belt due to the previous belt being removed from existence while in operation of the motorized vehicle. After the new belt is installed, new lines were also installed. While being told this would take approximately 2 hours, I astoundingly combined a total of 6 1/2 hours at precision auto tune care. At the end of my extremely long wait, I was informed that my AC compressor was locked up, and that I would need a new one or find a used one and that would fit my car. I returned a week later and was told they were too busy, but to return on a Saturday morning and I would be first priority. As I arrived on Saturday morning, I observed I would no longer be a first priority. I was told it could possibly be done that day but most likely not. After much frustration I decided to take my needs to another service. I am confused as to how precision maintains a stable business due to the lack of professionalism and overall kerfuffle.
These guys do great work. Jimmi did a complete brake inspection and replaced my brakes and rotors and did phenomenal work. Will definitely spread the good word.

My breaks were about to go out. I called from Gwinnett and PTAC were about to close. They told me that my safety was first and they waited 30 minutes for me to arrive.... this was after closing.. to fix my breaks. Managment is doing a hell of a job and I am extremely grateful.
Brought my car in Saturday for service. Bradley pulled me to the side showed me some stuff that my car needed so glad Bradley was there to help. Bradley is a great tech and a great part of management thank precision tune
James & Brad are the best!! Quick, friendly service, answered all my questions, even brought me in the shop to physically show me what was wrong with my vehicle. Highly recommend.

2022-08-09Theyre good for oil changes and tune-ups and thats about it my truck sat there from Thursday all the way up to Tuesday and they didnt get it fixed because they was too busy doing oil changes plus they left my air filter off my truck and left the ignition switch on which probably ran down my battery I had to get a tow truck to go over there and take it to another mechanic shop

2022-02-26Didnt appreciate the reaking smell of cigarettes while waiting for my car to be finished, but I also didnt appreciate them trying to upsell me on things they dont know have already been done. If you dont know anything about cars, dont come here or they will try and rip you off. Find yourself a good mechanic, dont come to these little quick lube places.

2022-04-04Came to the business for brake issues and a gas smell left the car with them about 4x issues did not get resolved what’s so ever. Friendly mechanics but just wish they could’ve actually fixed the problems I spent money and time on.

2022-04-30Claim to have a done a whole bunch of stuff to the car car still did exactly what It did before it entered the shop they had the car for 2 months and had the audacity to tell me parts werent cheap cause they bought me for retail price from oreilys or AutoZone i said parts couldve been bought off the internet cheaper like the stupid technician manager his rebuttal was do you think i have time you kept the car for 2 MONTHS he then walked away like the little girl he was do not do business with these scam artists they will over charge you
