Progressive Medical has helped me with my health problem with hypothyroidism for the last 3 or 4 years. Now, they are helping me manage weight loss. I am very pleased with the results and the support and help that I get with my weight loss manager, Monica. She is very informative, motivating and supportive, since I started the weight loss program.
Amber is amazing!! She is so friendly and knowledgeable, you don’t even realize you have a needle inserted into your body! The Prolozone injections have been a life saver! I was in so much pain from a sprained knee until I was informed about the Prolozone injections. I was not really sure if they would help but after my first one, my knee already felt about 70% better. I’ve had a total of 4 injections now and my knee feels like it is brand new! I am a firm believer in them now and highly recommend trying them before opting for traditional pain medicine or surgery!! I thank Amber and the entire staff at Progressive Medical Center for such a professional and great experience!!
I came here with hope that this office was different and that they cared about their patients more than money. I read many reviews before going that talked about the same thing but still decided to make an appointment so that I could form my own opinion. Upon my initial visit they wanted to do $2,000 worth of testing (out of pocket Ofcourse) and all the testing/ results are set up so that you have to come back into the office multiple times before receiving any of your results. I went ahead and did some basic bloodwork and another test even though I didn’t have a good feeling about it. Once my results were in I tried to call and get my bloodwork forwarded to me through email or by any means they had available. That request was denied and they stated that I needed to make another appointmeand pay more money) before I could getresults, which according to Georgia Code 31-33-2 is unlawful. I am still attempting to access my results.To sum everything up, this offices focus is money and I would not recommend this place to anyone.Update: half the owners response to my review was not true. There was no miscommunications or misunderstandings. I was clearly told over the phone that I COULD NOT get my test results until I made another appointment even though my results had been in for weeks. But once I bring up the Georgia code they want to try and cover their tracks. My appointment and bloodwork was taken on 7/19/22, it’s currently 8/30/22. The owner also said in the response that someone would follow up with me so I could get my test results, I have had no one contact me in over a week since the response was posted.
Front Desk Receptionist, Brooke always greets me with a warm smile, she’s professional and very helpful.I always enjoy my treatments, Tyger and Zack are very knowledgeable and helpful and they have a pleasant attitude.
Our go to for food allergy sensitivity testing and the biofeedback has done wonders for my moms overall wellbeing. We also appreciate all the care you get at their NUTRACARE store with a diverse selection of supplements and locally made products.
Don’t fall for their cookie cutter treatment plans that are designed to get every penny you have. Do your research and advocate for yourself because they are not in it for helping you heal.
Ive been going to Progressive for just a few months and Im already feeling better. Ive had some crazy problems for 3 years and theyre getting things figured out and I feel confident Ill be my old self soon.
Everyone at Progressive Medical Center was friendly and professional. The place is clean and inviting, and of course, I felt I was heard and understood, therefore I expect a realistic treatment.
I started going to progressive this year for some thyroid issues. They did thorough testing that normal doctors do not do. I have seen an improvement in my health in just the few months I have started there. Ms. Morris the coordinator is very responsive in helping me with appointments and questions that I have. I am from out of town so her help has been greatly appreciated, very professional, and timely. I have been very impressed that even when I have sent messages on off hours, she has responded. Jenna Scott the Naturopathic Doctor is very informative, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I have been very impressed with this facility.
I had a very good first meeting a few months ago. I sent off a test that we agreed would be good for me to have down. The company called and confirmed I wanted the test done since it was going through my medicare. After a month I hadnt received a call or any follow up from the Progressive. I called their nurses line and left message to call back about my test results. I called a second time, no response. I called their lab line and left a message and again no response. Finally in late December 2021 I drove myself to their office and told what happened. I was not a happy camper. Fortunately they took me and made time to get the results and review them with me. Bertie was very apologetic and Dr. Johnston understood my frustration. The next day I received a call from Bertie and she again apologized and Dr. Johnston had suggested that I received gift cards to their store to cover the cost of the items he recommended I buy. I greatly appreciated that effort. I think they are good but their follow-up system doesnt work well and their phone options dont allow you to talk to someone who can fix the problem.
The doctors are knowledgeable, caring and detailed. I trust them and believe that they provide solutions to keep you from getting sick. I received information that helped me know how to keep my body healthy and fit. There focus is to heal the body and not just medicate the body. The only reason I did not give a 5 star is because I believe they could improve their office admistration side. The staff however is very friendly. I highly recommend Progressive Medical to everyone.
Theres not enough that I can say about Progressive Medical Center.My wife and I have been going to Progressive for the past 15 years.They are our only source for any health issues that we may have along the way.There medical doctors are amazingly helpful and knowledgeable on any health issues.We are grateful to have found them because we do not take prescription drugs and avoid them as much as is possible. We have not taken drug medications throughout our lives and intend to keep it that way.There natural approach and methods are more effective than any prescription drug.I would strongly recommend anyone who has not had much success with conventional medical approaches to at least see what Progressive can do for you.I hope that you have the same success as my wife and I continue to have.Ed C.Canton GA

5 stars! I couldnt be more thankful for Progressive Medical Center. I had recent visits to improve my gut health, energy, recovery, skin care and sleep. After visiting Progressive and following their treatments, I felt brand new and better than ever. The staff in the store was extremely helpful and guided me to find the right products to help benefit and improve my overall health along with my treatments. Being a young adult male in my early 20’s with a strong athletic background growing up, I now feel like my best self mentally and physically because of my visits and treatments from Progressive Medical Center. After meeting with the dietitian and improving my diet, it has helped me improve my skin, sleep, brain power, strength, gut health and all other aspects of my body. Using the sauna and infrared light has been a tremendous help in recovering my body after intense workouts to build strength. Dr. Agolli and his team are extremely efficient, responsive and truly care about you like family. I highly recommend Progressive Medical Center.
My experience as a chiropractic patient at Progressive has been amazing for my back health. Dr. Garcia is very friendly, personable and makes sure you feel comfortable. She is extremely knowledgeable and gentle with her adjustments. Over the last few months, she has helped alleviate a lot of my neck and back pain. I am extremely grateful for her care!
This review is for TODAYs visit and you wont find lesser reviews from me even as I have had disappointing visits past because I am THRILLED that I have a place to assist me in taking control of my health versus the conventional methods.That being said, I hope that Progressive Medical will soon offer a health coach to reach out to patients and guide them through to better health, allowing them to feel connected, appreciated and encouraged!I was fortunate to meet Dr. Patel ND today who I immediately can tell is very competent, professional and also has I best intentions to help his patients heal.Dr. Bouquet is so amazing but now only sees new patients (as he is also the medical director) but always super respectful of my requests and of the opinions and knowledge of todays very educated patients versus a typical MD with an ego issue (to go along with their industry/profit-driven brainwashing).Yes I have had visits that left me feeling dropped through the cracks since my years going here but I want to have a huge voice in my own functional/holistic care so I plan to stick it out and help them through the growing pains they seem to be experiencing!Update:Just saw Dr. Abbott for my acupuncture session and had a delightful experience with him taking ample time to listen and discuss my concerns and symptoms which he then treated using eastern energy techniques.Left to lie on an infrared mat for a half hour in a dimly lit room with meditative music, perfect post sauna relaxation! =)
I recently had my first visit at Progressive with Dr Johnston. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge. I love the fact that he is trying to get to the bottom of why I am having some of the symptoms that I am. He listened well and everyone in the office was very helpful to me!
Everyone I had contact with was super and delivered WOW customer service. Amber and Chrystal administered the Protozone treatment with great care demonstrating a high level of professionalism and expertise. I was able to lay on my back without pain last night, something I havent been able to do for months and my overall ability to move, stand, sit, walk, bend hasnt been this good in months. I am overflowing with gratitude to them for the services they provided me. i would have never gotten treatment anything like this from my traditional primary care practitioner.Thank You Progressive.RegardsR Toth
This was the best covid testing experience Ive ever had! The line was substantially shorter than other testing lines Ive been in, and the employees were so nice and professional. Specifically Zach and Xander were the best! Really nice people, and I can tell theyre passionate about their work. We even got some great tips to help relieve our symptoms. Please check them out if you need to get rapid tested! 10/10
My initial visit at Progressive was good. I can not give it 5 stars because after only one visit. I did get a car sales vibe after my initial screening and the billing personnel came in the room. I get they need to understand how patients will be paying for services; however, do not collect my payment when I am being prepped to have blood drawn. The other part of that is the paperwork with all the testing costs. When you sit in front of patients and start crossing out dollar amounts, you make people feel like they are at a car dealership. Again, it gives off a sales vibe that should not be part of patient care. The staff was great and very friendly. I look forward to seeing what happens after all the testing and analysis. If I see results from the plan they put me on then I can give this review a 5.
The line was so quick in comparison to anywhere else Ive been, especially for rapid testing!! I was also incredibly impressed with the covid drive thru rapid testing workers, Xander and Zach were extremely efficient and professional. They gave helpful medical advice I havent received from other testing centers before and there was even a coupon for medicine needed to help the recovery process.
Dr Benjamin Johnston is great, hes a caring person and answers your questions to the best of his ability, looks for a solution to help.However the nutcracker store to help with your recovery is very expensive, so its counterproductive. If you did great care but you cant afford to medicine or the treatment then thats just a little bit harder to deal with.
Dr. Johnston is always focused on the patient’s wellbeing and puts me at ease. He is professional, positive, personable and caring. I always look forward to the office visit knowing he truly cares about his patients. He has guided me through my health journey and his knowledge of both conventional and natural medicine is priceless to me! Thank you Dr. Ben Johnston for being the best doctor I’ve known!
Went to get a Covid test on my lunch break and this was the closet place to me and it literally took about 10 minutes or less. The drive through was empty, took about 2 minutes to fill out my paperwork, and about 20 seconds to get swabbed in the nose. The attendant was super sweet and professional and made my experience quite pleasant! This will be my new spot for my weekly Covid tests! I hope they end up opening on weekends too because that would be awesome. Got my results back a few hours later too like wow! Overall, great experience for something that’s usually so uncomfortable and unpleasant for me.
Pretty fast and quick service, I had my family tested for covid 19, just sitting in car. It hardly took 5 minutes to get it done. They sent me the results via email within an hour. The attending staff was very nice and cordial. They have placed small red placards everywhere near the facility, so finding it was very easy.
Andjrez always takes the time to see how I’m really doing. His advise is always helpful.
Loved Dr. Johnston. He takes the time to listen and seems to truly want to help. He made several recommendations that I am now following.
Progressive Medical Center is the best place Ive been to take care of my health! As a D1 athlete my body requires the right nutrition, supplements and recovery for optimal performance. I was so pleased as a patient of Progressive Medical Center, I was surprised by the profound knowledge in guiding me and answering questions I had had for year but other healthcare professionals were not clear in answer. The people at Progressive are attentive, they care about you as a whole and the made feel as if my questions and the reason I went to them were very very important. I am so grateful that we still have medical facilities like that around. I would recommend them from my grandchildren to my best friend now at 85 years old. I loved the Positive energy in that place.

Progressive Medical Center has helped me tremendously with my health! After getting COVID in July 2020, I had serious side effects that included weight loss, vitamin/mineral nutrient deficiency, sinus issues, headaches and feeling sick every other day. PMC ran blood tests and allergy tests. They put me on a supplement regiment along with a new diet plan that has changed my life! My family had prior positive experiences with Progressive, so when I found myself in the midst of a prolonged recovery from COVID and COVID pneumonia, I knew I had to schedule an appointment.I was working with my primary care physician and a pulmonologist, but the focus was solely on medication, including corticosteroid inhalers for my lungs that seemed to offer no improvement. Chest x-rays show some scarring and otherwise cloudy lungs that look surprisingly like the chest x-rays of smokers, although I have never smoked a day in my life.I knew my first visit to Progressive would include a recommendation for testing, so I was not surprised. The only drawback to the testing is that it takes 6-8 weeks to receive some of the results. Other results were available sooner, however, and these showed very high levels of histamines in my system, very low levels of two immunoglobulin markers, and a compromised immune system.My treatments over the past six weeks have included glutathione nebulizer treatments for my lungs, supplements to help my body break down histamines and build my immune system, and a special diet focused on avoiding high-histamine foods.The results so far have been excellent. Ive gone from having extreme fatigue and constant coughing to feeling pretty normal. Ive completed my recommended nebulizer treatments and although I was skeptical at first, my breathing is very much improved.Dr. Bouquette is an expert in this area, and he even insisted that I record what he had to say during my initial visit. Since he talked for almost fifteen minutes straight, Im so glad I have his comments recorded, and Ive referred back to them several times. Ive had very productive discussions with the other doctors that make up the integrated team, as well.There is one person I would like to especially call out, and that is Progressives Patient Advocate, Bertie Morris. She makes me feel like I have a private concierge! Any time I have an appointment she stops by to see how Im doing and asks if there is anything I need. No matter what question or assistance I need, I know one call or email to Bertie and she will own the resolution. If I have a question for one of the doctors, Bertie is on point to get it answered, and it eases my mind. Here is an example of how interested she is in helping out - I casually mentioned to her one day that the Progressive store had been out of gluten-free chocolate macaroons for several weeks. While I was receiving my nebulizer treatment, she handed me a printout that included a picture of the macaroon package and even what aisle they were on at Publix. This is going way above and beyond, but thats just an example of what a God-send she is. She most definitely is the one person who makes my Progressive experience so pleasant - thank you, thank you, thank you!I recommend Progressive to anyone who wants to get to the root cause of their health challenges. However, if youre not willing to cooperate with their prescribed course of treatment, you should probably save your time and money. Do I enjoy being on a restricted diet, although it is not intended to be long-term? Absolutely not, but the results speak for themselves. You owe it to yourself to get the most comprehensive healing approach possible for your health concerns, and I believe Progressive can help you do that.
My husband Mike had a massive stroke in December. A friend spoke to Dr Agolli about my husband and Dr Agolli called and offered his help and services! We began our months long journey of treatment and therapy at Progressive! Every physician, therapist, receptionist, nurse, and phlebotomist were kind, sympathetic, and professional! Very quickly, everyone knew our name and seemed personally invested in Mike’s recovery! Each visit, encouraging words and almost cheering occurred as they witnessed Mike’s progress! Ive visited multiple doctors offices never to return. Progressive Medical Center was the first to make me want to. PAC - Michelle Robinson won me over with her ability to explain my medical conditions in a way I could comprehend and understand using analogies and visual aids. She wasnt doom and gloom had a positive attitude. She didnt talk over my head and was patient in hearing my story so we can begin the journey together to improve my health. Anthony Balaban - MA was calming and helped to set the stage and prepared me for the consultation taking me step for step in the process. He was very thoughtful asking for my preferences versus directing me and made me feel even more comfortable with the visit. The staff in general from the quick responding call team (Gabrielle) to setup an appointment to the receptionist at the front desk (Trichina) walking me through the paperwork. They were all professional and welcoming. I tried to setup an appointment with a doctor that had a 6 month waiting period for new patients. Gabrielle with Progressive informed me there was an immediate opening the day I called. I ended up taking an appointment for the next day as I wasnt expecting to be seen so soon. Very grateful and appreciative I was recommended to this medical center and Im looking forward to the positive results of our partnership to improve my health condition.
I am a new Patient of Progressive Medical Center. Scheduling my initial appointment was easy and now I love the on line access. My clinician was excellent - she performed a very thorough examination and explained the advanced testing she was recommending to help identify the root cause of my symptoms. I was particularly impressed with the Lab Staff and the IV staff. I also got great benefit from my time on the Biomat. I am looking forward to my follow up appointment but already so glad I am a patient of Progressive Medical Center!! Phone calls are never returned. Testing kits were promised to be sent but never delivered after 3 months of asking. Prescriptions take 2+ weeks to be filled. Staff is nice in person but once you have to talk to someone on the phone or billing they are extremely degrading and could care less about helping you.
The only good thing about my experience was Kim in billing. This company has a great asset with having her onboard.As far as the rest... I was told that the provider would spend an hour with me and would get to the root of my issues. Reassured that the provider would ask about all aspects of my health, like my environmental stressors and such, as your health is more than just physical. I got maybe a 20 minute OV, wasn’t asked anything more than what brought me in that day, and was advised to undergo a bunch of testing.After my visit here, another provider at a different facility advised me on my issues & I am starting to feel better less than 24 hours later. I honestly wish I would have listened to the less than par reviews I had read online before I spent my money here. I would go somewhere else.
The practitioners at Progressive Medical are extremely thorough and I felt heard for the first time in a very long time. Having struggled with weight gain and fatigue, I was ready to commit to a more complex plan to help improve my energy and overall health. They have multiple resources, especially the dieticians, at Progressive that were key in helping me succeed. I feel better than I have in a very long time and I will look to Progressive to help keep me on track. If you are willing to commit to a significant change in health and follow the plan set before you, there is no better place to learn how to be the advocate for your own health than at Progressive.
I have only been seen once here so far. I have follow up appointments scheduled as well. My first experience was a great one. I am excited to be taking my health journey with Progressive. I get the feeling that they truly care about healing the whole body. The entire staff is friendly (except for one lady at the front desk who was a bit rude and snappy). I will say that the cost for treatment here is EXPENSIVE!!! ......more expensive than going to a regular doctor. Its as if each visit is an emergency room visit. If it were not for me having insurance, in no way would I be able to receive any service here. Other than that.... I am happy so far.
Recently Ive been having chronic digestive issues. I went to PMC to get a test they administer call a gastrogram. Fortunately they were able to pinpoint that I was not making enough stomach acid which was leading to a host of problems. Im so grateful for their cutting edge technology, and helpful recommendations, I wouldnt have gotten this critical info anywhere else!!

I am so grateful for the team at Progressive Medical Center for helping restore my health. Over the past few years, they have helped me with my diet, allergies, hormone imbalances, low immune system and a very long list of challenging injuries. Most recently, I had severe pain in my neck and upper back. I had a consultation with Dr. Jones and she sat with me for over an hour, going over my medical history, teaching me about my spine and creating a plan to help relieve my pain. Ive seen Dr. Jones twice a week for the last 2 months, and I am thrilled to share my pain has decreased around 30%. In addition to great Chiropractic care, PMC helped me change my diet which drastically reduced my inflammation. I used to wake up with sore joints and aches all over my body, but that has gone away at least 70% and Im only 6 weeks into my new lifestyle. They also gave me a supplement routine to help fix my adrenals which has already started to decrease my anxiety, helped me handle stress easier and sleep better at night.Progressive Medical Center equips their patients with the tools, knowledge and resources to restore their health and live the life they were destined to live. The doctor switched my thyroid medication. After a few weeks the medication was recalled by manufacturers. I called for 2 weeks straight to have a doctor change my medication and nobody returned my call. I left messages with a live person, on nurses line and with the supervisor. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Honestly, i have serious psychological damage from being a patient at this office. despite having no health issues relating to my weight, i was subjected to an extreme and i mean extreme weight loss regimen at a very young age that completely destroyed my relationship with my body and even the concept of food itself. this office encouraged what i now understand to be a literal eating disorder. it’s been eleven years and i still have not recovered from the shame, humiliation and grief this establishment has caused me.
This is an amazing place to get well. I have been a patient of theirs for a while and they are great! All the doctors, nurses and support staff are amazingly nice and professional. I go there for all there services. To see a doctor when Im not feeling well, for help losing weight by talking with the docs and nutrition specialist, for chiropractic adjustments, for acupuncture, they even have a full gym with a personal trainer and so much more. Everyone and everything is great there. Oh and they have a HUGE supplement store with everything you need at great prices. ALL of the store employees are amazing!
I just went to PMC today for my initial test and consultation. All the staff were great but it was abit overwhelming with all the info. Now Im sitting here reading reviews. All the reviews are about the facility and staff but cannot find one talking about how successful are the treatments and procedures. Did the treatment cured or alleviated your ailments?
I had Rapid COVID 19 test done and it was very well managed. By the time I reached home after giving sample, I already received call with test results. It was less than 30 mins. Best experience with Covid testing.
Progressive Medical is Phenomenal. I have been meeting with Dr. Marcia Williams and she is extraordinary. She goes above and beyond to ensure my health is the best. There is never any judgement if I did not loose any weight and she gives me the best advice to take care of my body. The supplements are excellent as well. I love knowing what my body needs and not what the latest fad diet is. If you want to get to the root of your health problem, contact progressive and meet with Dr. Marcia. Simply the best!
I have been struggling with health issues for about four years now. Nothing I did seemed to help me feel better. I would go see a doctor multiple times throughout the year and even saw a specialist. After years of frustration and no progress, I decided to try something new. I heard Taylor talk about Progressive Medical Center on the radio and after being urged by my mother I decided to schedule a consultation. I was very apprehensive about my first visit, but the staff was extremely friendly and I enjoyed the visit much more than I had expected. Everyone there was very optimistic. After my first consultation they had me purchase some supplements, which were very effective. Their thoroughness is amazing and you can tell that it is their primary goal to get to the root of the problem. After years of pain, I am finally feeling some relief and I contribute it completely to Progressive Medical Center. It has been excellent so far!
Great doctors. I had chronic pain, severe crushing fatigue and brain fog. The injections really helped and their IV department is amazing. I found the staff to be friendly and the team of doctors and practitioners listened to me. I feel better than I had in years. I have more energy and feel more clear headed. I was referred to Progressive Medical by my general practitioner because they could not get to the bottom of why I was experiencing chronic fatigue. After Progressive did their lab work many of the reasons for this were uncovered. I am now on the path to getting rid of the fatigue. Yes, it does cost but I feel that what I am getting is worth it! They perform testing that regular doctors dont do to get to the root of the problem and not just mask the symptoms. Also, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Switching from Conventional to Functional medicine was the best decision of my life. Went to numerous Urologists trying to figure out what was going on with my bladder. Was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis, which is a painful bladder syndrome. The prescriptions werent cutting it for me and made me feel MUCH worse. I went to Progressive Medical Center for my injured rib. My primary physician told me that there was nothing to do to help it other than rest. One of my friends suggested I check out Progressive Medical Center to see if they could help. And wow am I glad I went. On my first visit, they suggested I see their chiropractor, Dr. Brinker. She was extremely pleasant and it was apparent from the moment I met her that she wanted to help me heal. She quickly adjusted me which helped the pain tremendously almost immediately. Then she suggested I get laser therapy which should help expedite the healing process even quicker. The Progressive team is efficient, caring, and most importantly 100% committed to helping you get better. I couldnt be happier with my first few visits and will continue to come back until my rib is healed and for any other health issues I may have in the future.
If you come to Progressive and dont take advantage of the physical medicine department, youre missing out.Dr. Brinker has been my chiropractor for several years, and I cant recommend her enough. I started seeing her because I often had lower back pain and muscle spasms due to having a desk job (occasionally it would be severe and I couldnt stand or walk) and it was starting to affect my golf game. After a few adjustments, I was completely pain free and noticed I could hit the ball further.I stay on a maintenance program not only to stay out of pain, but to make sure my nervous system is functioning at 100%. I work in an office building and my coworkers are frequently sick, yet I never catch it or miss days of work because my immune system has greatly improved with chiropractic care, supplements and proper diet.Recently I had an accident and went to see what Progressive had to offer in their physical medicine department. I had only ever received chiropractic care but I started using the hyperbaric oxygen chamber to help my wounds heal faster as well as Matrix and Aspen Laser therapy to help with the pain and swelling. I was skeptical, but I am pleasantly surprised with how fast I am heeling.Bill and Stephanie are always super nice and navigated me through the oxygen chamber (I was super worried because my ears tend to have issues). When I went to my orthopedic surgeon for a follow up, he told me that I wouldnt need surgery because my injuries were healing so well. He also couldnt believe that I was totally pain free and didnt even fill the prescription for pain meds that he gave me.Im grateful that physical medicine was able to help me avoid surgery that would have been very expensive and made me miss weeks of work. I cant recommend progressive highly enough.
Save your time and money. It was a disorganized, disappointing experience. Not a single person other than the medical assistant was responsive to my concerns. Misplaced blood tests, emails unanswered, unable to reach the appointment desk. Just an overall monumental waste of time andInteresting, I see the owner just replied and they have “no record of me as a patient” . Shocker….

Progressive Medical saved my life, literally. When I became a patient there I had multiple problems and was starting to think I didn’t want to live anymore, if my health was going to be so poor. Within a few weeks at PMC, I felt so much better. Dr. Bouquette is wonderful, as are so many others that I can’t mention them all here. They gave me my life back.
My first appointment turned me off so much, I do not think I will be back. I went for my blood pressure. This day, my blood pressure reading was normal. The Dr. asked me about my eating (I am vegan), energy (is great) and about my last physical (which was 3 months ago) I told him all my lab were great. My blood pressure was creeping up and I want to get in front of it. I showed him my lab results and he still ordered me more. When the billing came in, they said my labs will be $1359, and my insurance will not pay a portion of it until I have met $1500. REALLY - I have never had to pay for labs or meet a deductible. She said wait, let me go back and check She came back and said it was an error and I do not have to pay for any labs...smh I declined to move further with any appointments. I told her, I didnt know why I was ordered to get these labs . The bottom line, I felt like they were fishing for something in my health to be bad even though I eat well and sleep well. I was given something for my digestive/immune system. Not sure how anyone could mess up on something so important as billing. This indicated to me, I will have issues moving forward.

I was seen as a patient here for several years. The doctors are caring, thorough, and very involved during treatment. They helped me start my journey of healing from Lyme Disease. It was expensive, and at times somewhat chaotic, but worth the results and the standard of care I received. NP Kayla Keenan is absolutely amazing! I walked into Progressive Medical Center Sept. 30 very emotional, depressed not knowing what to expect due to my chemical sensitivity issues. She ordered every test for me under the sun! Testing Ive never heard of, just in order to get to the root of my problem. Im so thankful to God that she did just that! Ive been a patient since 2012 and all I can say is that this type of medicine works. I Came in to get treated and they placed me on a protocol to help me get better. I followed all their instructions and slowly watched my body heal. The supplements i was placed on worked wonders for me. They knew what my body was needing. I can tell the physicians really want to see you better. The pain management department is amazing. I had neck and back pains and it healed up by being treated by this department. This place ripped me off, I spent a lot of money with with them doing of test allergies $750 stool test around $650 blood work Around $300 cortisol test $350 heavy metal test $350, mold test around $500 and lupus around $250 , Iv department $500 ,the supplements I bought from their store around $1500 the visits around $700 , over 8 months period so a all together I spend around $7000 possibly more with Alinia meds that alone cost me $2900 dr Davis prescribe that me which I found later on with dr mucduffie I that I could of got it for $300 which I did the second round and the the third round of it doing my own resarch , I found thIs pharmacy called pantherx rare in pa I got alinia the second time for $300 I lost $2200 because of dr Davis mistake not advising me what to do , doctor McDuffey had me sold the first time saying that the microbiome was the cause that all my problem I believe it 100% .so I did some test the second visit she referred me to doctor Davis which I was wondering why. Doctor Davis is a good person but a straight guesser in my opinion she had try so many supplements which I believe that every single time I was prescribed a new I thought it was the fix to my problems ,that is why I didn’t care about spending the money, dr Davis said it was my magnesium. Then I refer my self back to dr McGuffey she had me do heavy metal testing which I thought I was the problem , turns out I did have some heavy metal but that that wasn’t the cause of my problem. she said let’s do Iv therapy and refer me to another doctor in their clinic ,last doctor i saw I am not going to mention her because I saw once but she taught it was my kidneys then she taught it was thyroid , at that point I firgure if I Keep seeing them I will go broke. My gut still not a good health still have the same issue but spent all this money .these doctors will have u thinking that everything thing is wrong in your body which will actually cause u to have anxiety and once u have anxiety u will have all kinds of symptoms which I was having .tried contacting them Via e-mail before I left this review to explain to them my situation but they didn’t care . A total waste of time and money. They charge a ton of money for their exclusively sold supplements that do not work. They ordered thousands of dollars of lab tests that revealed nothing helpful.When we received our outrageous bill that should have been covered by insurance our staff person was wildly unprofessional and unavailable. She filed our insurance incorrectly even after we gave her STEP by STEP instructions and it still took her months to file it correctly. We would follow up with our insurance and they would direct us to her since they were simply waiting on her. We would call and call and email and email and had zero response. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. We had our lab results read by a doctor with 50+ years of experience and he disagreed with everything the PMC doctors said. I like the idea of natural medicine if it WORKS. This place does not work and they are too expensive and unresponsive.A few months later we are doing our own health plan and it is free and actually effective. Oh and they have only just gotten back to us about our bill. A few people who work there are friendly and the building is nice enough.

I started coming to Progressive in August of 2015 after I saw a friend have great results of her own. I was dealing with infertility, and traditional western medicine had been failing me for almost three years at that point, including a reproductive endocrinologist. I was very disciplined and diligent with the treatment protocol (supplements, diet, lifestyle, etc) my providers at Progressive prescribed, and in early 2017 I became pregnant naturally. They did what no other medical practice I had been to could do. They helped my body heal so it could do what it was naturally meant to do.They are not a perfect practice, but I have yet to see one of those. Some things to be aware of: 1) be prepared to be there for 2-2.5 hours each visit 2) parking spots can be tough to find 3) the building can feel a little cramped 4) administratively/operationally there is room for improvement 5) you cant get lab results without a doctors appointment (in order to have the doctor review the results with you). Having said all that, I still love Progressive. It is filled with brilliant medical minds from all different areas that truly care about their patients. They practice the type of medicine that actually makes a difference.A nice unique pro that is not common with these types of medical establishments is that they accept some types of insurances too, which helps make tackling health issues this way a little more financially manageable. Another perk is that with MDs and PAs on staff, naturopaths can write prescriptions if needed and get it signed off on.Also something to note for consideration and preparation purposes, as when working with any functional medicine/integrative doctor or naturopath, know that a supplemental protocol can be expensive. I have found it to be an incredibly worthwhile investment in my health though.I recently went back after a whole year for my annual check-up (I used to be there every week at times!) and was greeted with hugs and smiles from staff that remembered me. They couldnt believe how healthy and happy I looked, which really reminded me of how sick and bad of a place I was in when I first came and how far Ive come.Thank you for the gift of my health Progressive! I will be eternally grateful.
After dealing with chronic digestive issues for over 10 years and trying numerous conventional medicine doctors, I decided enough was enough and made an appt at Progressive. You cant have more thorough tests performed or a more genuinely concerned group of providers than PMC. I really appreciated that they took their time with me and truly listened. I have always been a huge advocate for my own health but this was the only time where I felt like the providers were on the same page as me. They suggested things to me, and I absolutely agreed. I even asked for an additional test and they said no problem. No eye rolls. Everyone I have encountered there has been beyond exemplary, especially Dr. Jenna Davis. Tell me any other doctor that will spend over an hour with you, not only listening to you and taking extensive notes, but using a whiteboard to let you visually see what she is talking about (in laymens terms.) I couldnt be more appreciate or more impressed with PMC. For the record, yes...its expensive. But you shouldnt put a price on your health and most of my treatment has been covered by insurance (minus the supplements, which have worked wonders!).
I am at this amazing place called Progressive Medical Center. These medical professionals are amazing! My plan is customized and she prayed for me. She told me things that will help me heal not sugar coat the symptoms. They are helping me with self pay, I dont have insurance. I am blessed and healed with Jesus and Progressive Medical because we have to do things in the natural!
I was really impressed upon my first visit. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The process was very quick and they offered great fiance options. After that though Im very disappointed with how things have been going. I was told I could use my FSA card to help pay for things but the first payment was denied and I had to pay it back because it wasnt eligible for FSA payment. The second issue has come in with my first payment to the fiance company. Ive been calling Progressive for 3 weeks straight leaving voicemails and emails to talk with the lady that coordinates the fiance plans. I have not received one phone call or email back from her. Other people have called after Ive gotten upset but cant help because she is the person to talk to. The fiance compnay has even been trying to contact her with no response. Im beyond frustrated and cant use my FSA card till I get this situation corrected. Very disappointing.

I want to cry happy tears when I think about how drastically my health has changed in the last 6 months! My primary reason for seeking care was debilitating migraines. I got them 3-4 times per month for 48-72 hours. Multiple prescription medications barely touched them and made me feel like a zombie. I cannot say enough about Progressive Medical and want to especially thank Traci in the I.V. department for her skills drawing blood effortlessly from my tiny veins. I usually get sticked three times, get bruised up, and it takes forever for my blood to flow into the test tubes. Traci got my blood flowing on the first stick and took a minutes to fill the tubes. Ive never had such an amazing experience and will only see Traci from now on. What a blessing!!
I guess Progressive Medical Center is not for everyone but it should be. I believe that people just dont like to hear what they have to do to get healthier. I am a ICU RN and see what medicine can do to a body. I believe people want to have a magic pill and everything will go away. But that is not how we were made. Ive been having problems for years with my thyroid. I chose the easy way out for years. I also knew what it would take to be healthier. With all the extensive testing, the test confirmed what I already knew. My thyroid was not working properly and my adrenals were shot. I had to do something. I encourage everyone to go to Progressive Medical. I made a decision to invest in my health.

Was really looking forward to my visit, because I felt that my regular doctors had not really listened to my concerns about my health. Well, guess what? Neither did the PA that came to see me. She was only interested in telling me about the many tests that they needed to run ($9K+ because the only insurance they accept is BCBS), and judging my lifestyle choices. I declined to return, and feel like I wasted 2.5 hours of my day. The only high point was the person behind the front desk (though the 2nd person behind the desk had NO idea what she was doing).
Had a facial done by Angel L. My skin felt immediately supple & radiant . Angel was very informative & accommodating to my concerns. Going on 2 weeks post facial, my pores are smaller & skin still feels rejuvenated! I would highly recommend! Angel uses very clean / natural products. I can’t wait to book my next appointment!

I had a wonderful experience here! I have gone to 4 different doctors each one diagnosing me with some chronic condition, and no one caring that every body part that had be scanned or imaged came back inflammed. No one cared about making a connection and only wanted to treat me with ibuprofen and send me on my way. I have been to a primary care, urologist, GI, and was about to go to a rheumatologist all telling me i have chronic inflammed something. The first meeting I had with progressive I was blown away! They listened to every single detail of what I have been going through, asked in depth questions that no one else has cared to ask. They listened intently and wrote down extensive notes. I met with two Doctors, and Dr. Munro was very excited to be working on my case! He broke down a lot of information for me and made sure I understood every detail! I was almost in tears I was so happy to finally find a place that wanted to get to the root of my problems rather than just give me a chronic condition I am expected to just manage and live with. This place is full of such amazing staff each one dedicated to getting you healthy and finding real answers! I am so thrilled to be working with them and cant wait to finally start feeling better!
This place is amazing.Since early December my son, two daughters and I have had several visits to Progressive.So many people to mention, I cant remember everyones name!We have had such a positive experience from day 1 when I scheduled the first appointments for my older daughter and me. The lady was so sweet and accommodating and made us feel so excited about coming to Progressive.Walking through the doors the first day, Kathleen and the ladies were as happy and welcoming as I could have imagined. What a nice greeting!The medical assistants & phlebotomists, are fabulous. Everyone has been so professional & awesome. Thank you guys.We met with Tane Petrono, NP. I can honestly say that this is the most thorough and informative medical visit Ive ever had. We learned so much from her.Our follow up with the naturopath, Dr. Patel and the nutritionist, Delma, was also impressive. We learned that the foods we were eating werent the best for us. They helped us to make changes. My son reports no more acid reflux and Ive only taken one antacid which is amazing for me.We had a short visit with chiropractic but look forward to that in the future.Weve had a very positive experience and I hope my review helps someone else.
I feel very blessed that I was able to find Progesssive Medical Center!For years I suffered from extreme stomach discomfort as well as often being too lethargic to make it through a normal day.Through their in-depth testing, they were able to diagnos that my health issues were due to a stomach Amoeba that had torn down the lining of my gut, and causes severe adrenal and thyroid issues.After receiving treatment, my health and energy levels returned to normal.Progressive Medical Center truely gave me my life back!I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to take back their health!
This is my 3rd year going to Progressive Medical Center. I am now making use of all the services that continue to aid me in my overall health and well-being. For example, I make frequent visits to the BioMedical department to use the hyperbaric chamber to help speed up my healing process from my sports injuries; I use the Bio-Mat which helps in detoxification of my organs, and take advantage of both the acupuncture and the chiropractic care.I use the Cryotherapy, that is administered by Taras, when the inflammation in my knees in particular is creating minor pain and mild discomfort. Its cold and it works! Taras is great and offers personal training for those seeking this kind of help. The staff in the BioMedicine/Medical department is outstanding; they are professional, attentive, and they are guardians of compassionate care. I am also thankful the Andre and Cindy for BioFeedback. My sleep level has deepened noticeably and my generalized anxiety has calmed markedly.Since leaky gut was one primary issue for me, I make use of the services provided by Ilan and his highly purified filtered water system that gives a dynamic colonic cleanse of my colon. Ilan, from my experience, is a gifted professional, highly knowledgeable with respect to colon care, and attends to me as his patient with compassionate care, empathy, and understanding. Contrary to some GI tradition physicians, I have experience this process not only safe, but beneficial to me with respect to my issue with periodic blowing and gas. The purified water base colonic DOES NOT replace the need for persons 50 years of age and older to get their recommended colonoscopy. I have mine every 10 years.The nurses in the IV department, too, are exceptional in the care they offer not only to me, but also to the patients that travel from all around the southeastern states to receive there medical attention.A key for me to Progressives medical success within the scope of their practice is that they work to get to the root cause, more than just treating the symptoms. For instance, whereas my Dermatologist treats my skin issues as they manifest themselves on the outer (in my case, my arms), Progressive treats my inner--my leaky gut or GI tract--to get to the root of the problem as well as providing additional lab testing to discover whats happening on the inside of the body.Furthermore, Ms. Bertie and her team in the Nutracare store offers the supplements that are in many cases equally as effective as some of the pharmaceutical drugs which come from traditional medicine. Although the Nature Thyroid is considered an Rx supplement, for example, it works equally as effective as the traditional drug Synthroid in my case with fewer side effects. The Nutracare store offers supplements of all kind that can help with ones aliment, after proper diagnosis from a Progressive NP and MD. This is simply my experience and I am only sharing my story.Finally, yes it may be an out-of-pocket expense for some of us, in that some traditional insurance companies my not provide coverage for homeopathic care. Notwithstanding this, when it comes down to my overall health, we will pay now or pay later. I am into prevention as well as maintenance and I have created a relationship with Progressive Medical Center as one of my healthcare agencies to hold me accountable and in helping me to do both. If I could rate them a zero, I would. Here is a list of everything they have messed up:- Took almost 12 weeks to get the lab results that I was told would only take 6-8 weeks. I was told they didnt have the results when they wanted to reschedule my phone consultation THE DAY BEFORE THE CONSULT/. I refused to take that for an answer and somehow my results magically appeared in their system that same day- Lost one of my other tests completely and then wanted to charge me to take them again- charged my insurance incorrectly for a test (which my insurance denied based on the test code that progressive used) and then took the money out of my credit that PMC owed me! They never did resend the test charge with the correct code- just took my money and never looked back- at my 2nd appointment, I was under the impression (by what I was told at the end of my 1st appointment) that I would be seeing the same doctor. However, not only did they not send in that doctor (who was not even there that day!) but they sent in a naturalistic doctor that is not covered by my insurance! This same doctor was rude to me and seemed annoyed at my questions as if I was wasting her time-This doctor also put me on a bunch supplements, saying I had certain issues, and then I find out later (from the doctor I was supposed to see) that I spent over $200 on supplements I didnt need because I didnt actually have those issues....- I have to threaten suing them to get anywhere!!- Their billing department is just as bad! I have left a voicemail almost every day for A MONTH trying to correct a billing issue and NO ONE CALLED ME BACK!! Still waiting to hear back about the money they STOLE from me..... I guess they see it as they have their money- no need for me anymore! I refuse to go back... They are just as bad as regular doctors with pushing their supplements onto youIf you like spending thousands of dollars to get little to no answers, like being billed incorrectly and then having no one return any messages that you have left, and like having to figure out what is best for your body on your own, then this is the place for you!
I recently broke my leg in a motorcycle accident. With the their treatments Ive been able to make terrific strides with not only the swelling and pain but its healing faster than expected. I have visited PMC on three occassions. I was reluctant to go the third time, but I wanted to see the results of all the lab work I had to go through. While I strongly believe the concept is good, the way they go about it is not. Like everyone else on here has mentioned, this place is supplement happy. After my second visit, I was advised to purchase almost $400 worth of supplements. Most of the staff is friendly, however it is almost like an assembly line process as they rush you from one station to the next. I underwent surgery about a year ago, and I advised them that I would have to clear the supplements with my physician. I was condescendingly told that I would have to make a personal decision as to whom I was going to receive guidance from as far as my health is concerned, because my physician would probably not approve anything they recommended. I just had my third visit yesterday where I met with someone named Lucy. I was completely overwhelmed as she rushed through all of my results, added about 6 more supplements to my already expensive list, gave me my results and said I had a lot of reading to do. I again asked about having to approve the supplements with my doctor and she also used the term that I had a personal decision to make because she knew none of them would be approved. Every time I go, I feel as if Im getting scripted answers to the few questions they seem to allow you to make. I wanted to ask more questions during my visit, but decided against it when during her explanation, Lucy glanced at her watch. Thats when I realized it was time to go. Im glad to see so many here who are happy and have seen results. I have several friends who are going here as well, and the one common thing I hear is how rushed they always feel. Personally, I have not had a good experience and will not be going back.
Ive had issues since my teen years and went to doctor, after doctor, after doctor, with no help and solutions that always put me in the ER. Finally, I decided that I had enough with regular doctors who just cover up your symptoms and never actually heal the source. I found this group of doctors who actually know what they are doing. They do tests other doctors never even consider. And after a few months of tests and treatments, I not only have had answers to my health problems, but I havent felt this good in over 20 years. Im am so greatful for these group of doctors for giving me my life back!
Had a terrible experience when I went in for my initial consultation. I have professional and personal experience at locations like Progressive Medical Center, I was excited to go and get start but turned out to be very disappointed. The Physician Assistant I met with was hurried, unconcerned, and practically read off a script. She acted like she wanted to get out of there as quick as possible. After the very brief exam she listed off a large list of tests with no real explanation of why I should get them or if I had any other options. After that the billing came in to tell me a large sum I would need to pay without explanation of how my next appointments would proceed I left frustrated and confused. I tried to contact PMC to tell them of my experience with no response. I tried the email in these reviews as well as through there site. I would not recommend this place; it is not worth the money.
The staff across the board is not only knowledgable, but have a great sense of customer service. Especially, Mrs. Bertie in the supplement store. Shes extremely attentive and helpful. Once she knows your health goals she makes sure you have what you need. In addition, she takes the time to introduce new foods to you which can assist you in not only sticking to the dietitians recommendations, but aid you in changing your eating habits. Shes awesome.
Went for an initial visit and after a one sided rant that lasted 20 minutes, I was basically told the health problems that I had just buy my facial skin tone. There was no discussion with the doctor. I was then moved to another room and shown that to continue, I had to pay $1500 to see the doctor 4 more times plus the cost of testing. The doctor had no idea that I am a nutritionist and well versed in all the maladies that he told me that I most likely have. I felt that I was at a used car lot, not a doctor’s office. A total waste of $175. A total one way conversation full of hype to get me to pay for the rest of treatment. I feel completely scammed.
This was my last resort because I just couldnt handle my symptoms any longer, though I tried. The regular/conventional doctors had done many tests, but nothing was concluded, so I went to PMC even though I do not have insurance. I was convinced this facility and these doctors would be able to treat me. However great in theory, it hasnt seemed to help at all yet. Ive spent hundreds of dollars on their supplements with no noticeable progress in my health/symptoms.I was prescribed a certain detox powder for a whole month before any of my food allergy test results returned to find out I am allergic to the powder and it wasnt making me feel any better but worse. I asked if they could refund me but they wouldnt.Ive gotten so much different advice on what to eat, diet, etc but still nothing.If you have a full time job Monday-Friday its really difficult making time for treatment and scheduling apptsIm on my fourth visit and they STILL havent gotten two of my testResults back that were taken over two months ago or longer.Theres not much communication and thorough explanation.
Things have improved dramatically. Dr. Gina made sure I got my medicine before I ran out.Previous post:Ive been a patient since January 2014. Received exceptional medcal care until recently. I cannot get a response ti my phone calls and emails. I am running out of my medicine and need a refill prescription. I never receive the results of my bloodwork unless I make an appointment. Whats up with that? Im calling for an a appointment. No one answers my emails and Im not getting my phone calls returned.
Multiple doctors over the years couldn’t diagnose my “unexplainable” digestive problems, anxiety, fatigue, eczema, and strange swelling episodes or really with help any of it, but Progressive Medical has got me back on track. They are genuinely interested in every aspect of my health. If you want to finally figure out your issues or just improve your overall health, I highly recommend PMC.
I enjoyed my visit to Progressive because I know that my doctors and I are working to treat the root cause of my condition and not just symptoms. The staff is always nice and I LOVE the uplifting music that is always playing. Such a refreshing doctor visit compared to when I have to go to other traditional providers.
I dont understand why it cost so much to try and get healthy. I wanted to go back to holistic medicine but cant afford it. Ive learned its either this or memberships. After waiting an hour in the lobby for my appt I went to ask if I was being seen. No one else was in lobby. They hurriedly said yes and I believe I saw someone I was not originally scheduled to see. The doctor asked many questions, repeated a few, and yawned. He ordered a lot of tests. Then the finance person came in and said it would be $2500 up front since I havent reached my deductible or for the top 3 tests would be $1300 out of pocket for self pay. I said I could not afford that. No other options were offered. I left, but not before paying $150 for appt. I had a urine and saliva test that I never received the results .
Biggest scam ever. Told me I have no iodine in my system and proceeded to say treatment plan would be $3000....for hair loss. Also said my insurance wouldnt cover any of it. I said screw that and left and had my iodine checked the next week by a different doctor and it was absolutely fine. I wouldnt be a bad enough friend to recommended this place to anyone. They just want your money the whole place has a very sketchy vibe.

Progressive taught me a huge lesson. Traditional Medicine failed me but it was all I knew. They take a vastly different approach that takes longer but has actual results that do not slowly kill you in the process (prescription meds). They attack the stuff that causes chronic sickness which for me was diet. I could tell the difference within two weeks and within several months went from chronic fatigue and pain to my old self. I lived in that pain for over a year and paid countless thousands of dollars to traditional medical doctors doing diagnostics that never helped. I highly recommend their practice for chronic disease. It will be a test of perseverance to stick through but it will be worth it as I have found I like my new lifestyle 1000 times more. They solved my problems when no one else was listening. They take a data driven approach to solving problems which was refreshing to me. We baselined some of my blood numbers, made some lifestyle changes and re tested until I was happy with how I felt. They are very methodical and pragmatic in their approach to healing. Success to them is for you to never see them again. They want to get you off medicine not on more! I cannot say enough good things about these folks. Educate yourself and they will fill in the gaps.

We went to progressive medical in Hopes to help our son. We paid 2 grand upfront following a prescribed panel of tests leading to what is the cause, how can we help our son. Some was performed, 1 last lab we dont know. We call, no one picks up. Left messages and nothing. Now theyve taken our money, given us nothing and we have to find another doctor. This is disgusting.
Ilan Irie is absolutely amazing! I had never had a colonic done before and was very nervous. Upon meeting him for the first time his energy is so calming and right away I felt so comfortable and trusting.....which is what you want in this situation :) I drive an hour or more twice a week to continue seeing him because he is that great! If your feeling sluggish, no energy, bloated and the list can go on and on give him a call! He is very reasonable especially considering he starts his procedure with a reflexology massage and is their throughout the process massaging and helping everything along!! I’d give more stars if I could!!
From a young age to my early teens, I struggled with terrible migraines. I would get them 3-4 times a week at random times. It could be after playing basketball, hanging out with friends or just in class at school. For anyone that has had a migraine, you know how painful and debilitating they are. I finally reached a point where I could not go on any longer with the migraines and decided to do something about it. I had allergy testing done at Progressive Medical Center and they checked for food and environmental allergies. The results said I was severely allergic to dairy (specifically cheese) and that’s what was most likely causing the migraines. I went off of dairy for 6 months and guess what? No more migraines!In addition to helping me with my allergies, Progressive has been there for me anytime I am facing a challenge with my body. Whether it be the a sickness and I get an IV to help boost my immune system, or figuring out that my lack of energy, sex drive and apathy towards the world was due to EXTREMELY low testosterone. They had me take testomax and guess what? Back to normal within a few weeks!I am an avid athlete, martial artist, and overall very physically active guy. Unfortunately…I also get injured frequently and Progressive always helps me recover quickly. I’ve had multiple serious injuries where the recovery time is 6-12 months and Progressive has cut those recovery times in half!I could tell you countless stories of how much Progressive has helped my life but I don’t want to write forever. The bottom line is the staff genuinely care about you and your health. I will be a lifelong patient of Progressive Medical Center. Thank you PMC!!!
Love love love! Very welcoming and caring environment. I just finished my intern for school and Ive learned so much. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, same energy they gave to the patients. I worked under Priya and she was an awesome, knowledgeable superior. Anthony, Tatianna, and Yuritzi are very capable Medical Assistants and reassuring to the patients rolling through. I enjoyed my experience here and I would recommend this center to any patient who wants to try a different approach or want to try functional medicine.
I used them about 10 years ago (so this review is dated). This place was amazing from a public health point of view, in that they really do offer a lot of healing modalities, both eastern and western in a comfortable hospital like setting. They worked with me financially and for that Im grateful. In my particular case, liver stagnation, I didnt see much improvement. Hopefully they are able to more effectively treat this condition nowadays, as its a core issue for some people. Progressive medical center in conjunction with liver herbology (perhaps TCM) probably would be a dynamic combination. Suggestion to anyone reading this: If you have digestion issues even with a good diet, learn about the liver/gallbladder! I spent around $3,000 as I recall 10 years ago. That included supplements, iv therapy, blood work, etc, over many visits. I know that insurance and overhead costs are high, so its not all profit. Their prices seem reasonable given what they offer from a clinical perspective. If your money is tight though, you might start elsewhere. P.S. I didnt complete the full treatment they offered me , partly because it was a like too intense (iv therapy, etc). Its possible it would have helped me more.
Everyone was great here. I was impressed with the lady who did my evaluative; however, the office visit was 50 dollars; the estimated rostered of testing was almost $2000 of which Zero would be covered by my insurance company. So, all testing out of pocket. I have PPO Blue Cross Blue Shield. I was disappointed to learn this...quite pricy for my budget now.
I became a patient at Progressive Medical Center (PMC) in 2013 after a dear friend maintained three years of treatment there after a prostate cancer diagnosis (he survived many years afterwards). As a breast cancer survivor six years out at that time, I was eager to experience what an integrative and functional medical clinic could offer me.We started with their “core four” tests, which include a comprehensive metabolic panel (most physicians run this panel) however PMC often adds other non-standard markers such as HbA1c and anexpanded thyroid panel. Another “core four” is the adrenal stress test, which measures adrenal function/fatigue. Third is the food sensitivity panel, which tests 88 different foods that can challenge theimmune system. And finally, a three-day stool collection which examines the state of the microbiome, abnormal yeast, parasites and various other markers for inflammation, absorption and immunity. I was truly amazed by this powerful group of tests than enable the practitioner to begin creating a blueprint specific to each patient. I still ask myself, “Why aren’t all medical clinics offering these tests as standard of care?” Not doing so, in my opinion, is a disservice to the patient. These labs are only the beginning of the specialized functional panels PMC offers.Another impressive feature was the fact that the clinic had two registered dietitians (RD) meeting with each patient to evaluate their diet and make recommendations to optimize their intake. I am a nutrition professional and I can tell you that an infinitesimal number of medical practices employ RDs. Most simply do not acknowledge the importance of a health promoting diet, almost as if what a person eats has no impact on their state of wellness, or lack thereof.Progressive has a broad array of modalities to address a vast number of conditions and to promote detoxification, including acupuncture, chiropractic, IV therapies, oxidative therapies, brain mapping with biofeedback, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, far infrared saunas and diagnostics for GI disorders such as SIBO (small intestinalbacterial over growth), H. pylori and low hydrochloric acid (which is a primary contributor for GERD/heartburn). There is also a nutraceuticals store brimming with high quality supplements and other products that support metabolic balance. There is just no other place like Progressive.I am convinced that becoming a PMC patient has helped me be cancer free for nearly twelve years by helping me to build and maintain a healthy immune system. And for that I am grateful.Full disclosure, when I became an RD in 2014 my dream job was to serve there, and my dream came true. I was hired that summer to join their nutrition department. I knew that I wanted to join a team committed to helping patients find the root cause and not just treat symptoms.
I was going to Progressive Medical for issues with fibromyralgia a little over a year ago, I was getting very good results from the treatments at that time. I had a unrelated surgery last May that went very wrong. I dealt with traditional medicine for about 8 months before getting smart and heading back to Progressive. Dr. Rick and his acupuncture and healing herbs along with Dr. Mike and his vast knowledge of the body and healing , have helped me in a way that the other DRS. could not. My medical doctors are amazed at my progress. I would most highly recommend treatment from Progressive. I do agree that the Paper work part leaves a little to be desired and I think they are working on that. But the treatment is so worth it.
I went to dozens of specialists before Progressive Medical Center. They helped me to get rid of my migrains.They got to the root causes instead of giving me medication for the symptoms. I have been migrain free for many years. Since then they have helped me with balancing my hormones and increasing my energy level.They truly have CARED for me. Since Progressive Medical Center deleted my comment from their Facebook post and turned off commenting--not a sign of much confidence in their practice--I guess I have no choice but to make it a formal review.I dont have a positive opinion of this place.My wife went to them, and a few thousand dollars later, we got down to ZERO root causes. They did manage to sell us quite a few high-dollar supplements though.I cant/wont outright call PMC a scam, but I think anyone considering their services should do plenty of research first and go in with a healthy dose of skepticism. In my experience, their practice was definitely not worth going out of network for and did not provide solutions. I consider the experience a waste of time, energy and most definitely, money.
What an experience working with the health professionals at Progressive Medical has been. I knew something was wrong but no other physicians seemed to want to take the time to work with me to figure it out. They just wanted to write a prescription and move on.The team at Progressive Medical has given me a prescription for a better and healthier life. Very professional, from the front desk to the doctors. I was nervous to have a male doctor. However, he was very specific in his questions and I could tell he had read my notes prior to seeing me. That’s a huge plus in my book! I do want to give a big shout out to the medical office assistant. She was very busy, as she juggles the front desk (greeting, intake, blood work); but, she took the time to walk me through the pros and cons of following through with receiving a “work-up” at Progressive. She was the listening ear I needed, despite being pressed for time.
Came in from Michigan to have Angel give me a vampire facial. Amazing staff and love seeing positive results in my skin within the first wk and half. Looking forward to come back in the near future for a collagen facial w/ Angel. Highly recommend, and very pleased with the facial during the process as well as after. The doctors are fantastic, but the administrative team is awful. Ive been unable to schedule an appointment (left messages and nobody returned my multiple calls), they messed up my billing records, and Ive been calling for 6+ months trying to get my medical and x-ray records released without luck.
I am highly concerned about a business whose medical practice is dictated by a non-physician CEO. My wife recently came to Progressive Medical Center on the recommendation of several co-workers. After comparing notes it was discovered that each of them required the exact same laboratory test, although each presented with different problems! The office manager told my wife that the CEO dictates that each patient must have these tests in order to be accepted for treatment.As a practicing Hospitalist physician, I find this highly unusual and question the legitimacy of such policies. Although we have good insurance, we were asked to pay $3500.00 out of pocket for these tests. My wife offered to have the testing through our hospital laboratory but was told they do not accept outside laboratory testing. That is nonsense and certainly not established medical practice.
Progressive Medical Center offers cutting edge therapies for many conditions. Ive read the negative reviews but I dont believe people have all the facts. First, specialized lab tests arent usually available through standard labs such as Quest or LabCorp. Second, your health is an INVESTMENT, and as such, you are investing in YOU. If you want the same old answers to your problems then integrative medicine probably isnt for you. Just keep on taking that medicine! I have had kidney issues for a long time as a side effect from taking the wrong medication. I was worried that I would have to go on dialysis. Since becoming a patient here my kidneys have improved! I started care at Progressive about a year ago with severe stomach issues and constipation. One of the recommended treatments was a colonic. Initially, I was unsure what a colonic or colon cleanse would be like. However, the colon hydrotherapist, Ilan, was very professional and made it a relaxing experience. Ive been receiving treatment from Progressive Medical Center for a few months now. The staff is super friendly, as well as professional. Im hoping to get back to optimal health as a result of my treatment. I think its a fantastic medical center.
Last January I visited progressive medical to have some testing done. I hadnt had a cycle in a few months , I am over 40 so I was positive I was in menopause. I was given a series of test a saliva test, during my first visit, blood test and urine test. I was given a feces test to take and send off for my next visit. During my initial exam the doctor physically looked over me and said i may have low iodine . My feet were dry, I had ridges on the side of my tongue and it was some waves or something on my nail bed. He told me that he would not know until he got results back from saliva test. One of the side effects of low iodine is breast issues, when the doctor said this I was in shock. Earlier that week Id gotten a call from my doctor that they found a mass on my left breast, that turned out to be a benign mass. Since he wasnt the doctor on that case he just responded, that they could be related. By that time the nurse was entering with my results that showed my iodine was low and thyroid level was low. I just had my physical a couple of weeks before the visit to progressive with no knowledge of this my results came back good from the doctor i had visited for my annual. That day they started me on supplements for my iodine and thyroid. I also was telling the doctor I was stressed and about my absent cycle. He was pretty sure it was all steaming from low iodine and low thyroid. I did take the feces test which took the strength of an elephant mentally to take it LOL. I went back in 4 weeks and got my results I had a leaky gut, I thought the gas and stomach pain i was having for years was coming from acid reflux. I DONT HAVE ACID REFLUX. I have leaky gut, which could lead to other digestive issues. The feces test uncovered several foods my body doesnt like, the biggest one was CHICKEN, I LOVE chicken. Also diary , JESUS what am I gonna eat. The test showed I was not in menopause, and my thyroid level is low, liver and kidney levels. I was in complete shock. My poor diet was keeping me from the iodine needed i eat so little, for no reason I just have for many years. My liver level was low due to my profession of being a hairstylist and the chemicals, my kidney level was low due to being an african american. None of my my levels are dangerously low just low enough to cause me some slight present and future issues. OK , the team at progressive devised a plan for me to get back on track. The plan included the infra red sauna once a week I had a few other minor things to show on the test that the sauna would help, supplements and a restricted diet. The first few months I lost 10 pounds which for me wasnt good I am already really thin. The doctor said I could add chicken once weekly if I wanted to. I chose to ,I was getting to thin. Its been one year, I went back for my mammogram the beginning of March and the mass had decreased in size. I believe taking the iodine and getting that level up changing my diet has saved my breast and is going to keep me healthier longer. Thank you progressive your team of doctors are amazing and the supplements REALLY work! Its time for me to visit soon for an updated feces test, that I am not looking forward to, but I believe its the best thing ever. Thank you all, everybody should visit Progressive Medical.

Before you use your FSA card at the store, please read this:Six months ago I purchased products from the Progressive Medical Center store for an existing medical condition. I was new to their store and explained my situation to the woman behind the counter. I told her it was my first time at Progressive Medical and asked her how their store worked. She volunteered that their store takes flexible spending cards as payment and that the charge is processed like a pharmacy and so FSA companies approve it. The only way I was able to purchase $300 worth of products was because I could use my FSA card - I didnt have (and still dont have) these extra funds otherwise. Long story short, some time after the purchase, my FSA company decided to deny the charge and freeze my remaining funds until I paid back the $300. Ive spent the past five months talking to people at Progressive Medical trying to get them to provide me with the documentation being requested by my FSA company so they can approve the claim. FIVE MONTHS! So many voicemail messages left and emails sent!! After months of attempts and being placated, not taken seriously, and flat out ignored by Progressive Medical staff, I was finally told yesterday that their solution to my predicament was to generously allow me to return the products for a refund - that way I could use the refund money to pay my FSA company. What?! I used the products the first month I had them! I am honestly astounded by their lack of professionalism, integrity and genuine care for their customers. Their solution wasnt customer-centered - it wasnt even logical. I will not shop or support a company who so openly disregards the very people that create business for them - that provide their incomes. All I needed was the appropriate documentation and they completely screwed me over. Its very disappointing to know that a customer can be treated this poorly with no accountability on their part.Update: I sent an email to the email address listed below in the owners response to my review, only to have it kicked back as not deliverable because it wasnt a real email address. This may have been a simple error on the part of the person typing it (kharrison) or it may not - I dont know. I do know that it only adds to the frustration.

After years of fatigue and brain fog as a teacher, as well as having g to give up everything in evenings and weekends in order to sleep and recover from my job, I Iwas considering other work options- Western doc said blood work within normal range - youve just had too many birthdays!!! Enter Progressive!! Talked to a person who had gone through the process and because I had help from my parents paying for the tests, I gave them a call. Delma was my point person. Because I lived so far away, they worked with me on scheduling multiple specialists at a time. After the stool test, they found one of the culprit s- 2 bad yeasts in my system- put me on Nystatin and I went on Whole 30 diet (no sugar, grains, dairy) and within a week I was a new person!! The supplements that were originally prescribed for me based on symptoms ended up being the ones needed based on blood work!! They nailed them- early on I took lots of each - now almost a year later, Im taking one of each every day. They are expensive but vital. Im a 56 year old school teacher of gifted 1-5 graders- multitasking on steroids- gotta teach til Im 60- I am more on my A game than Ive been in 10 years- now the next 4 years dont seem so daunting and who knows I may even teach longer. Today I received Prolozone shots in both knees by Michelle Robinson she is AMAZING .I had been told by friends and others that it was going to hurt so I put off getting the treatment dreading the treatment. When the pain of my knees became overwhelming I set the appointment. Michelle is the BEST the shots were painless and when I left office I AM PAIN FREE! This is unbelievable why did I wait so long the do this Prolozone treatment is my regret, I should have done this years ago.I have been in pain for SO LONG.
Don’t go there for covid drive through testing. We got tested last Friday and now it’s Monday afternoon and still heard nothing from them. We used to go to viral solutions and they were so much more efficient and professional

We spent over $2,000 to get lab work and tests done. This was to include 2 follow up visits. After they got our money at the first visit, they kept cancelling all follow up appts, sometimes with less than 24 hour notice! Its now been almost 3 months and they still have not seen my daughter since that first visit because they keep reschedulin her and cancelling!! They have our money and my daughter has not received any answers or care. Total sham! VERY disappointed !!! Worst place for medical care EVER! They should be shut down!!

Extremely poor service. If you have problems contacting someone, after you have spent your money there, get use to it because it will continue. If you are in need of a refill start your quest a couple months in advance. Oh an be sure to keep up with all receipts of payment, because you will be double charged. I am in the process now of contacting the fraud department because money was fraudulently taken from my account in the Nutra Care department. I talk to an employee Ashley who gave me the run around and later the same day talked to the manager Josh who has also done the same. I went for a follow up appointment back on the 28th of march, I was given a suggestion of taking some Super ALA which the Nutra Care department was charging to my card, but during the process I was reading the ingredients and told them to cancel the order, which she did. I had another follow up appointment on June 13. I did not visit the Nutra Care department. I used my card to pay for the office visit and left. Two days later, I checked my bank statement and I was charged for the office visit and 52.95 for the Nutra Care department that shows on my statement the transaction took place back on March 28 ( the ALA order I cancelled). After talking to Josh about the fraudulent transaction, he assured me that he could place it back on my card without me giving them my number over the phone which Ashley insisted that I do, and I told them to send me a check because I did not trust them with my account number. They gave me some BS about the finance manager being on vacation so I weould need to wait until last week in order for them to cut me a check for a mistake they made. Josh then said that he knew how to do a return without needing my account number and stated he would do it immediately, and if it did not work, he would call me back to make arrangements to get my money returned. It is now June 28 and of course I do not have my money back in my account, I have not received a check in the mail and I have not heard from lying Josh or Ashley. I could tell you so many more extremely negative stories about this place (Progressive) but I wont bore you. Why am I still going you ask? because I only get my thyroid meds refilled every six months and a regular doctor wanted to give the synthetics which I dont want. I am in the process of finding someone else, because I am way past fed up with the lack of professionalism and poor customer service. Pay attention to the turn over rate of the doctors and nurses.
I was thinking about making an appointment, but after reading the reviews, my concern is how organized and efficient the billing department is or is not. Overall on a scale of 1 to 10 it appears that communication and response time, is batting a zero. It is enough to spend a great deal of money to ensure better health, but to compound that with bad customer service is highly concerning. I may have to re-think making an appointment here.
I went to this place for 6 times.Although the concept is the right one, everything else is wrong!1. Very shady about expenses. Ended up paying way more than expected, even with insurance.When I would call to inquire about coverage, payment, and deductibles, nobody would answerthe telephone. When I drove there after a month of calling, nobody was available to talk to meand after it was obvious that I was not leaving, I had to wait for an hour to get a person with a badattitude to tell me she had no access to my information because the system was down. Thebills all showed up at once after I stopped going.2. No plan was developed for me until ALL results were received. Well, 6th visit and still no plan.3. Although no plan was developed, I was strongly encouraged to buy their products.4. The assistants were really unprofessional with bad bedside manners.Go somewhere else!

I have been going to PMC for 9 months and my health has improved tremendously. They got to the root cause and were able to heal my body and rebuild my health. This place is an atrocious money pit and scam. Here are some of the countless reasons why:- I have paid thousands of dollars for their tests and treatments for chronic fatigue and other symptoms. None of it works, and no one there cares - they only want to sell me more of their supplements. They have told me my symptoms are caused by chronic EBV and a yeast overgrowth in my gut, both of which are questionable diagnoses at best according to actual, reputable scientific articles (and not just a random naturopaths blog). I took my results to several traditional doctors and an infectious disease specialist, and they told me my results look normal. Regarding the EBV, the infectious disease doctor told me 95% of the populations results would look the same, as 95% of the population has EBV in their system. When I asked the doctor at Progressive about this at my next visit, she said something along the lines of, well, you have EBV, and youre having symptoms, so.... Basically she had no idea, couldnt explain it, and didnt seem to understand that correlation does not equal causation. If the vast majority of the population has EBV but doesnt experience my symptoms, then you should be able to explain how my EBV results are different from theirs (hint: they arent) before you tell me that its EBV causing my symptoms and not something else. So ultimately, what I firmly believe Progressive is doing is charging people thousands of dollars for various tests, including some that they know will most likely be positive (e.g., EBV and yeast in the gut, both of which I now know the vast majority of the population test positive for), and then prescribing hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of supplements to treat a meaningless diagnosis that isnt causing your symptoms. If anyone has had success with their treatments, I would be willing to bet its because that person changed their diet to eating more whole foods and less processed foods and limited alcohol in an attempt to be healthier overall. Not because of any of Progressives treatments.- No one ever answers the phone and they KNOW IT - one doctor there even made a joke about how the phone system was bad at my last appointment. They are HORRIBLE at communicating with patients. Attempting to coordinate with them to get disability paperwork filled out for medical leave from work was an absolute nightmare that I am STILL trying to get worked out after WEEKS of trying.- Every time you talk to someone about logistics (e.g., when to schedule your next appointment, which doctor you are seeing, when to take certain at-home tests, whether your appointment is a phone consultation or an in-person appointment), they tell you the exact opposite of what the last person told you. For example, I had a phone consultation set up on one Friday morning with a doctor. I was eagerly awaiting some test results on that call, so I wanted to have the call ASAP. Someone called me Thursday and said they needed to reschedule my appointment because the doctor wouldnt be in Friday morning, and I would have to wait until over a week later until I could speak to her. I asked if I could speak with another doctor that Friday and she said yes and scheduled me an appointment for Friday afternoon at 4 PM. On Friday, the original doctor called me at the original time, had no idea what I was talking about regarding rescheduling, and said they ARENT EVEN OPEN AFTER 1 ON FRIDAYS. No one there EVER has any idea what is going on. This is one of many similar experiences with them.-Oh, and by the way, they charge you somewhere around $75 (I cant recall exactly as Ive spent SO MUCH money there) for a phone call with the doctor, but they dont tell you that up front. And you absolutely cannot speak to a doctor, even for a 2-minute question, without setting up a phone consultation and paying the fee.I could go on, but you see the point. If you are suffering like me, please dont put yourself through the additional agony and expense of dealing with Progressive.
Very expensive and poor follow-up/feedback/service.I decided to give this practice a shot because I knew 2 individuals that goe there. However, the reviews online are pretty negative. But, I do know everyone has a different t experience. So I went and had some initial tests with an MD. I scheduled my 2nd appointment and an ND provided me with my results and recommendations. So once I got home I researched my results and what they mean. In my findings saw that what I was reading is not what the ND said. Also, I spoke with a nurse that works in a hospital and she told me what the ND said is incorrect and I should contact the doctor to get clarification. Mind you this was on a Tuesday morning.I called the doctors office and I was transferred to a nurses line, so I left a message. I wanted 3 hrs and called back. Long story short, I left 4 voicemails and sent an email to the nurses line. NO RESPONSE. So Wednesday morning I call again and the receptionist took my name and concerns and said someone would call me. No call. I finally got an email response to my email on Tuesday that said, please allow 48 hrs to respond. I immediately responded and expressed my displeasure with the lack of response. The nurse responded with excuses of her being out of the office on Tuesday and the doctors were out the previous week. However, she never called me or responded asking what my concerns were.Thursday, I decided to go directly to the office to see if someone can talk with me. The young lady that was helping was very nice. I can say she really tried to get someone to talk with me. At one point she came back and suggested I schedule an appointment to ensure an MD can sit down with me. I said no. She continued to try and she came back and informed me the office manager said she will have an MD call me today. The young lady provided me with her direct line to contact her if no one calls me.This seems to be quite ridiculous. As a new patient I really did not expect to experience this level of service or a lack there of. Considering that in 2 visits it has cost me over $1200. If I have to go to another doctors office I will be contacting me CC company and reversing my charges.
I had severe bloating. Progressive Medical Center did testing that revealed allergies/sensitivities to certain foods. I learned what foods I could and could not eat. My bloating decreased within a week. I follow a rotation diet on my foods allowed. Feeling better than I have in years!
Several years ago, I was chronically ill. Progressive consulted me thoroughly, and did numerous bio tests to get to the root of my issue. They truly got to the root of my issue and treated it from several angles. They take the necessary time and care with each patient. Holistic medicine is the only way to go, if your out of homeostasis. Conventional doctors wouldnt have had a clue where to even start, with a chronic condition like mine.

I have been a patient on and off for at least 5 years. I recently decided to return for testing and treatment and I am disappointed by the overall service. The staff is friendly but since day one I have been running into issues. Every single appointment has been rescheduled, my file went missing, delay in testing, etc. I dont think I will be going back after I finish this treatment, I already spend a couple of thousand $ so I need to finish it.
So far so good - had some confusion on my first apt time , I was called to reschedule and they wanted to push to later time which i couldn’t do so they said they had a earlier time which worked for me but when I got there they had put me for the later time after all.Its a very busy place. They got me in as soon as possible and I spoke with MA and it was very extensive which I appreciate since i’m used to 5 minute visits with other doctors . I got all the test they recommended because of research i’ve done and though they accept my insurance most of the test are OOP which cost about 2,500$ I have a good feeling about all of it and can’t wait to see my results. It’s nice to have a place that is getting to the source of my auto immune which is more over a umbrella term rather than putting a band aid on it. The MA stated 70% of their pts are auto immune diagnosis
I felt it was a ripoff. Not sure what insurance covers but my Medicare and/or supplemental was covered. The urine test they give you, that is covered in the cost of the visit ... $150.00. The prices were astronomical! When I left, I honestly felt like its a huge con operation. I would seek out a reputable homeopathic practitioner.
Unless you have $5,000-10,000, the saliva and urine test is as far as your treatment will go. After the doctor listen for the “hour” and determined what test I will need which totalled to nearly 5,000 and I was declined for the care card, I was politely walked to the front exit. So Holistic Alternative or not, this is still the US health care system where the poor will parish. Oh well, suicide it is

My daughter had been suffering for some time with stomach pain. After one week of treatment after the testing her stomach pain had drastically subsidized. We are grateful for the caring staff and physicians at Progressive Medical.
DO NOT GO!!!! I would highly recommend you find another facility to meet your needs. I like many others on here did not have an enjoyable experience. After filling out 30 minutes of paperwork, I had a PA come in and read me the form I filled out with very little conversation or dialogue. She just went through it and rattled off TESTs that I needed to have done. She leaves and tells me someone from billing will come talk to me about payment. The billing person then walks in and say its about 12k in tests that need to be done, but they do not take my Aetna insurance. Then proceeds to tell if I pay my 1600 out of pocket deductible that will cover all the costs. I said I am really not sure what all tests are being proposed and would like to know what they are and how much they costs. She looked at me and said this all should have been explained but will get the PA again. The PA then walks back in somewhat disgustingly and said how can she help. I look to inquire on the tests, rationale, and costs. She says she has no idea how much they costs Ill have to talk to billing. Because of the referral I decide to proceed against my better judgement. I complete all the test and send in all data. 10 months later I have not received a call, email, or mail with any results....Frankly I had forgotten about the tests until I reviewed my medical expenses and saw they billed 12k to my insurance receiving 1k in benefits. They truly only want your money and have ZERO communication. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

Went to my first appointment, I was suppose to meet with a naturopath for 15 minutes than another Doctor. That didnt happen, they were 40 minutes late to meet with me. When I finally met with somebody, it wasnt a naturopath. It lasted all 15 minutes, all yes or no questions. The person meeting with me judged me for a lot of the questions I answered to, I felt very uncomfortable and unwanted. . She also questioned my therapist whom I see for my anxiety, and acted like it didnt help me so she added a brain imaging / chew test with that. After the questions, she determined I had a leaky gut and ordered $500 worth of testing. She then implied that because of a leaky gut I didnt eat healthy. How could somebody possibly know this with only knowing me for 15 minutes. I do Olympic lifting and crossfit 5x a day, I eat paleo, organic, non gmo, juice every morning, and probiotics... I would say Im healthier than half of the staff. Additionally, after her 15 min disagnoses of me, she then left and said I would meet with somebody else. Another lady came in and was rushing me to sign a contract and pay for the tests. I couldnt even pay for just one test, I had to pay for all. I said no, I will have to look further into this testing ( none was really explained to me, or explained how the test all link together). The lady then said I could break up my payments, not sure if she understood me the first time, but I had to repeat myself saying Ill have to look further into this and cannot afford any of this right now. I am not opposed to get any of the testing done, in fact I came in knowing I would probably have to get some testing done. However , it was all weird the way it happened and I felt like my money was just wanted right on the spot. I have found somebody knew who actually wants to treat me and not judge me for drinking occasionally.
My health has improved tremendously since finding Progressive Medical. I wont go any where else. The Doctors, Nurses and Staff are the best. They are very professional, knowledgeable and, just as important, they are incredibly kind and respectful. Plus they dont mind all the questions I ask.

I was referred here by my surgeon for pain management after a serious surgery. All I can say is it’s like watching that one episode of greys anatomy where they all hang out in the dermatology dept because of all the bliss and positive energy. Amazing to see every single Dr and employee ask about you as they pass you by. I wish I found this place years ago! They have everything in there from acupuncture to reiki to hyper barrack chambers for oxegen. The front desk personnel sat there and spoke positive energy into me as I cried of life’s pains. Unbelievable place. My husband is booked. My cousins are booked. And HOLLISTIC MEDICAL DOCTORS that don’t push any answer onto you. They actually care about the root causes of your suffering. Agree with the other reviewers...I felt like I was in the cattle processing plant...the doctor that did my initial consult was so thoroughly disinterested in me, the person, he had the audacity to tell me to take quick notes because he had to run through his little canned speech and go to the next room. Once the consult was over it was, take a trip down to our vitamin shop...This is where the real scam is. Went in debt $4000 for very little in terms of actual improvement and after I showed the first signs of not wanting to return, they showed no interest in me or my case or my health by calling out of just simple human concern. STAY AWAY is my best advice. Try Goodness Grocery on Atlanta Road.
The staff does not have any communication skills and just want your money. I had issues with several members of the staff being arrogant and self righteous. Also, I had to contact the Office Manager to get a simple question answered that I had asked 4 different times. There are many Holistic Practitioners in the Atlanta area and I will being finding one to continue my treatment. I will also be purchasing my supplements elsewhere because the mark up a PMC is rediculous. To be fair I did agree with the results and treatment plan but I regret not shopping around and finding a more patient oriented practitioner.
As I am very please with finally knowing the root of all my health issue and I am looking foward to complete my treatment. I have to agree with some pleople here it is very expesive, more than i wanted to paid but I decided that I am worth it! 1st for me to be able to get my first appointment I had to got to extremes. I email my contact person several times, made several phone call and she never replied or got a call back. I felt like a stocker I ended up driving there and make my first appointment in person and the office people hesitated giving me the appointmen. They explained we have a processe and I replied that their process do not work. One more thing: Is it to much to ask for someone to answer the phone! 2nd The billing department its not good explaining anything to the customers . 3rd the supplements are in some sort of code making it very hard to shop around. I believed I should be able to compare prices and decide what is best for me and my pocket. Overall the employees are nice but always in a hurry it makes its hard to answer question and to get a real time with all the doctors. Also the first visit seems a little bit scripted. The facility is very clean but the restrooms needs more attention (a lot of attention). I will keep you posted on my journey.
Down 40 lbs from my all time high, and 10 - 20 lbs from last year. Following the Keto Diet, doing a bit of exercise, taking nutritional supplements, listening to the advice of Bertie Jones Morris, and under the care of Dr. DeAndra McDuffie at Progressive Medical Center, my A1C level is no longer in the diabetic range, I no longer take allergy shots (I had to take them 3 times a week), my hair has grown back in some, my vision has cleared up, and I feel terrific.Next steps:1. More activity2. Decrease smoking
The staff is very mean, no communication whatsoever. They will charge and charge and will never provide you with a billing statement so if you are on payment program with them, you will get overcharged without knowing. Very unprofessional doctors. There are much better functional doctors in the area with friendly staff and cheaper treatments.
This place was recommended to me. I was so disappointed with the service. I saw a Dr. Williford who has little to no bedside manner. Their cookie cutter approach was very disappointing. I felt as though I were being herded and my personal concerns were not met with care and/or professionalism. I was given a reading (if you will) of my blood tests as though I just got out of med school and then given 13 different types of supplements (that I was supposed to take) that amounted to over $450. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I am very grateful for the most of the assistance and help I have received from Progressive, as many other reviewers have stated the administration and billing of that service is where this organization breaks down. for instance, I had a question regarding what appears to be an incorrect billing by Progressive Medical, I called into get details, left a voicemail message, never heard back from anyone. 30 days later I did get another bill. So I called back in , never got a return call, So I called back in a 3rd time, finally got in touch with a human being, left another message, but this time I did get a call back. we discussed the issue, they looked at the computer and could not find where I should I have billed the amount in question, saw some other weird things and said they would need to investigate further and call me back If i needed to do anything else. So not a great experience but I felt like it was resolved, WELL. almost 90 days later and I just received another statement with the exact amount I had disputed back on a new statement, Mind you I have not been into the office or used any other billable services in the past 5 months. in fact these charges are stating they are related to something in august of 2017. this review is being posted on 4/6/2018.
I have been to progressive medical for many health issues. They took the time to get to know me and figure why I had many health issues. There food allergy testing was something that no other doctor ever ordered for me. It turns out I had severe delayed food allergies and following their step by step instructions helped me out a great deal.
Great staff and very helpful!!! I went to 7 different traditional doctors and no one could give me answers as to why I was feeling sick! One visit to progressive medical and I got answers why I was not feeling good! I knew I was not going crazy after all those doctors told me I was fine when I knew I was not fine. Progressive got me back to feeling good again!!!
I was suffering for years with a hypothyroid problem. My previous doctor, continue to tell me that my labs were fine, when I never felt fine at all. Thanks to progressive medical group I am finally better and I love the new me!

2022-02-24My experience has been very positive. Dr. Johnson is very detailed in his review if you ask questions. You must have various lab tests done in order to have a correct evaluation, so please save your money to do it right. You will need to purchase your products also and that’s another expense, but what is your health and well-being worth to you. The most important thing is to follow through with their instructions. Starting out you may miss things but keep a routine visit going and ask more questions. I talked to a dietitian there and I received more understanding of what I must do to reach my goal. Every year I plan to get new lab tests to see where I am. I’m so happy that my daughter told me about this place.

2022-08-11I ended up here after going to several doctors for sleep issues. My sleep issue had led to depression. After speaking to the Dr. and having several tests run, I was treated with lifestyle changes which included supplements, diet changes, and stress management. Every test and result were carefully reviewed with me so that I could understand it, in laymans terms. I was skeptical at first, but now that I am on the other side and finished with my treatment, I can highly recommend Progressive Medical Center and their staff. They find the root cause of your issue and help you get healthy again. You have to be willing to do the work, put in the time and make the changes. However, what is more important than feeling and looking your best? Without your health, you cant do much else. Thank you Progressive, for literally saving my life.

2022-05-26I was really impressed with the intake process at Progress. The initial intake appointment takes a couple hours, and you have the opportunity to share your concerns in a way that western medicine does not traditionally allow. However, after you make your hefty payment for services, the level of service changes dramatically. I went weeks without a response from my case manager. Suggested supplements were not made available to me for months. There is no flexibility in scheduling. I had to wait 45 minutes for my scheduled appointment. Meanwhile, I lost my appointment for an 8-minute late arrival. After making appointments, sometimes two months in advance, I received a cancellation phone call encouraging me to change providers without regard to continuity of care. The sincerity for your well-being changes after your funds clear. I do not recommend this practice.

2022-08-18I have been a patient at Progressive for over a decade, and I am so incredibly grateful that we live in an area where a practice with their level of expertise is available. Everyone is knowledgeable and cheerful. It’s easy to make appointments, and they truly search for the root of health problems instead of only trying to address symptoms. Dr. Johnston and Bertie Morris have come to my rescue more than once! I’ve sent friends and family members to Progressive, confident that they’ll be cared for well.

2022-06-04I came to the health food store attached to the clinic with my mother-in-law who has been trying to talk me into coming to Progressive Medical. We’re both relatively talkative when we are together so it’s always interesting to see how different people react to it.While we were at the store, Bertie helped us with our purchase. My mother-in-law doesn’t like what would be considered health conscious foods in general so Bertie gave her some ideas for making her new diet more enjoyable. She also answered my questions as I noticed different products that I found interesting. She told me a bit about how Progressive Medical works and even answered questions my Mother-in-law had about her personal plan.This review is limited in its ability to communicate our appreciation for her and the level of service she gave us, but Bertie was extremely hospitable and made what I perceived as a random trip to a health food store a legitimately enjoyable experience.

2022-08-16My appointment was at 1pm and they took me in at 1:03 pm. The tech who takes my vitals is always friendly. I only waited 5 minutes to see Dr Scott who is always friendly, professional and caring. We went over my test results and she made sure I understood everything. I highly recommend this office,

2022-07-25Dr Pam and the staff are absolute rock stars! They give personalized and customize treatments. Dr. Pam is an encyclopedia for chiropractic care. She’s the best I have seen. Dr. Agolli, personally called to check on me, after my stroke. Their care is second to none. I highly recommend the Progressive Medical staff, especially the chiropractic side.

I really need it help with my health and You All! took the time to make sure I got taking care of, Very happy with GI Dr Johnston and staff, my stomach is in desperate need of help, and many other health issues. Also enjoyed meeting Mary the financial lady. Everyone was very nice including the lady’s in the pharmacy that they have, when they say you are going to be Thoroughly examine they are not kidding, and that’s exactly what I need it.I strongly recommend them❤️. I went today 8-29-22 for the second time and again I had a great experience. I had seen some reviews saying that the don’t return your calls but that hasn’t been my experience, so let them help you, you will be glad you did😁👍
