Went to deli for a sandwich 🥪 waited for a hour and left. Informed management which seemed indifferent... slow workers, talkers, walkers, one sandwich maker spent approx 15-20 minutes serving 1 person !!! Wanted a chicken sandwich because I was discharged from hospital 4 hours earlier. Suggest management read other comments revelant to your deli ! Same comments and or similar!!!
This store is always clean and the cashiers are nice but TODAY...Its a Saturday but there are long lines & the cashiers are turning off their lights & alerting customers that they are closed- while we are still in line! Jennifer in cust svc stepped up and helped! Saved the day. Publix do better. Call more people in to help.
I occasionally go to Publix to pick up something from the deli, they have really good wings and subs, it is always busy and you have to wait for a while, even when you order online your order may not be ready when you get there to pick it up. Besides that the store is always clean and I can usually find what I am shopping for.
Worst Publix bakery ever they have messed up 3 cakes of mines. My sons cake was supposed to have a light Grey background like the picture and it look like they used some black spray on it instead of gray icing. While I was there they messed up another lady cake. And the bakery manager just dont care at all that they are messing up ppl cakes she just kept trying to make excuses for them when the cake clearly doesnt look like the picture. When you have to make changes to someones cake you are suppose to call them to make sure they agree to those changes. I had to go find the store manager and he offered me a discount but honestly I didnt want the cake at all because it looked completely different.
Deli, took 30 minutes to get service, then person waiting on me had to wait for someone else to cut meat for him. Then proceeded to open several bottles of dressing! Tied to talk to a manager, he was stocking water and continued to do so, acted like he did not want to hear anything I said, RUDE!!!
This store leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I say Publix..... Ive ordered pick up orders from this store sever times and they are either never ready when they have set put the message aay that it is ready or something is Always missing rude employees when you ask them Bout your order as if its your fault they are having a bad day sub lines are always long and store can be packed with only 2 registers open ..... I have never been to any publix that is ran in this matter I would rather drive 30 miles be before I go to this one !
I appreciate the cleanliness of this particular location, the actual cash register cashiers are usually really nice, the deli line is always long however the sandwiches are definitely worth it if you have time to wait...The sushi is the main reason I come 2x a week...Youll rarely get greeted however if you are kind the customer service is great. There are no cart returns in the parking lot... so though it isnt the best experience it isnt the worst either if you know what to expect
I was excited when the store first opened. It saved me so much time from driving to the Camp Creek or even Douglasville locations. But, the excitement faded as quickly as it started. Even before the issues associated with the pandemic, items, common Publix items, started to disappear from the shelves. Of course, now, just like other stores, the situation has gotten worse.
The service is great. However the deli🙄🥺🥺 if you place the order online it still not gonna be ready on time. The line is super long and they have you waiting forever just to get a sandwich and or salad.. They just need to hire more help and they will be a smooth operation
This Publix Super Market at Cascade Crossing Shopping Center seems to be clean and neat but one day me and my son brought mixed fruit salad that was ready to eat. My son even went on to tell me that he had this mixed fruit bowl before and loved it. We went home and ate the mixed fruit and both of us got sick. The customer service could be better. If I do shop there I grab stuff that is already package or a great deal.
I visited this store after placing an online order (an hour and a half prior), for a few sandwiches. The store was very busy, and I proceeded to the Deli. I waited over 30 minutes, before I looked for a manager. I was able to find a manager named Mr. John, who reassured me that he would get my order to me. After almost an hour (total) of waiting, I finally had my sandwiches. I would like to personally thank Mr. John, because he is the reason, I finally ate. I have learned now, that if I place an online order, I need to be prepared to wait as if I never ordered ahead. I would also like to thank the other manager Ms. Lisa, as well as the whole Deli staff.
This store is always clean and employees that I have came in contact with are friendly and eager to help. Then there is the deli department and thats where there is a chance you might run across an employee that dont like to cut deli meat. I ask for her to cut me 3 different kinds of meat and you would think Im asking her to walk 500 miles to get me some meat and then cut it. She has the worse attitude and obviously dont like her job. Publix is a really good company and have high standards and I cant figure out how or why this one person works here. Other than this problem I have had now for the past 4 times I have gone there I would have rated it 5 stars.
The deli area is entirely too slow. I literally go in, look at the line and just leave more often than not. Also, I find expired products on the shelf every time I go. Recently I went in for English muffins, salad dressing, and a particular brand of whole grain crackers. Each item was expired. The dressing had a date of 9/2/21 and it was December.
The customer service at this Publix was great. They have the cleanest bathrooms ever. I also like how this Publix is great with all of its stocking and not blocking the isles. I prefer coming here for my seafood due to freshness than actually going to the market. I know that Im getting quality from this Publix.
This store is always neat and grocery lines move fast. They keep plenty of cashiers to keep wait to a minimum. The food lines, sandwich, and chicken, on the other hand take a while, always. So be prepared for a wait.Customer service can be backed up at certain times of the day, but the wait is decent for the amount of people. And when Ive been there at customer service, the person usually acknowledges those still waiting in line and says theyll be right with us.So all in all, to me this is a good store.
I love any Publix location. The food is always fresh & cooked to perfection. The produce is always fresh, like they just got a supply in straight from the farmer. LolAt this Cascade location the hot food- sandwich line- check out line may get a little long, but dont let that detour you. . . .youll be done & out the store in no time.
It was okay until I got in line at the customer service desk. There were at least 7 customers in line waiting for service. There was one manager and two Publix associates at the customer service. But did not provide any assistance to the waiting customers. They were on their phones doing whatever. Poor customer service and poor teamwork.
The deli is a great experience! Mrs. Ericka, the Asst Dept Mgr. does an awesome job. I love that she always smiles (with her eyes) and make a point to remember me/the customer. Her staff is kind and patient. Thank you for taking pride in your work! We love this Publix!
The one department that really needs some help, at this location, is The Deli! For whatever reason, the associates working the counter always appear tired, are apologetic for moving in such slow motion, and theres always a wait for someone to respond to you when standing, waiting at the counter for an associate. I must admit, Im never there at open, nor during lunch so I dont know the ebb-n-flow for those shifts but the evening til close is a dread! Even when trying to call ahead, they dont answer without a manager intervention (if they pick up youre put on hold and no one returns or if they do they hang up). Its really comical to see them in person act in denial/contradiction of their true disposition. My only suggestion is to have a secret shopper and secret manager (like the show where the owner visits and pretends to be a customer) monitor the department for a week and assess needed CS training.
I realize theres a severe staffing crisis hitting businesses everywhere, and this place is clearly going through it. It took over half an hour to order a sub, and easily another half hour to get through the check out line--every associate was friendly, and clearly doing their best, but a sense of burnout seemed to loom everywhere. Save yourself the wait, and save them the trouble. These folks are overworked!
This Publix has gone down hill since they opened in this location. We were so happy as a community when it arrived. However, choice and selection of foods seems to be a problem. They are always out of items, especially meats and many other items on the shelves. It is very expensive. While the location is very convenient, Ive started going back to Walmart and Kroger again.
Clean, fresh food and check out is ok. Can be slow sometimes. The deli line is always long and moves extremely slow. The deli workers take their time and dont care about the lines. They complain all the time and act like they dont want to be there. They will walk off if they dont want to make sandwiches while the line is down the aisle.
Stood for a half hour trying to get a half pound of sliced roast beef. Guy was by himself and had been working on only one customer that whole time. I want to customer service to see if she can get him some help. This woman rolls her eyes at this simple request and says they have as much help as shes going to send. I left, but first I asked if theres a store manager. Im trying to make her aware of an issue and she says shes the store manager and rolls her eyes again. And I was being sooooo nice. But at that point I just left, drove down the street and was in and out of Kroger in 5 minutes!! Including the trip to the deli counter. Absurd. I dont appreciate being treated like Im being a Karen when Im just asking for help, otherwise why even have a customer service?
Although I like to shop in other areas. Because there are a difference sometimes in the prices, sales, appearance of the stores. I have to give props to my neighborhood Publix . Majority of my shopping experience there have been a pleasant one and the customer service I received has been good.
The food is good but they dont treat the customers if they are important meaning if they run out of a particular item they will not accommodate you with a substitution without paying for the other item. If you want a 2pcs dark but they only have 1pcs dark they will not give you a freaking wing for the second piece of chicken without paying for the freaking wing. That is some petty mess as much money is spent with these folks shows its All About Your Cash Not You As A Person. You Get It!!!
Christy was very rude, mean, and unprofessional. Please do not allow this lady to assist you in the meat department. Find someone else to help, if possible. Publix stands on their customer service and this experience was not a good representation of that at all. Very disappointed.
Store is clean and employees are ok. Seems like the moral is not the same here as it would be at others. May be just the area it is located in. Got that interstate and projects surrounding it, so I cant imagine the type of people they have to deal with around there on a daily basis.
Ordered a cake for my 45th birthday dinner and prepaid 90.00 . Unfortunately, when I picked up the cake it was mushed icing in some places, missing decorations., but had no choice but to take it. Just so happen , someone else brought me a cake so I returned my 2 tier messed up cake to Publix the next day and spoke to the bakery manager who was very apologetic and authorized a refund.
Publix Deli in particular can’t speak for the rest of the store but the wait at the deli was ridiculous. Several employees in the deli but only one making sandwiches and she was more inclined to make online orders instead of orders for customers in line. Total wait time was over 30 mins and no apologies for the wait once sandwich was actually made. Note to self next time order online while in line and you will get the sandwich faster.
I’ve been coming to this store for years basically all my life I’m not sure why the deli takes forever now but it wasn’t like this back in the day ! Every time I come to the deli to get a sandwich I’m in line 30 min or longer ! This is ridiculous I also feel like there needs to be a limit on how many sandwiches you can order at a time because it hold everyone up when someone is ordering 10 sandwiches if they need more than 3 they just need to get back in line and get the rest because it’s not fair to everyone else. I just wish things could go back to how it was because the process to get a sub is ridiculous
Michelle is aweful she does not have any costomer service skills to be at the register...Does not have her mask over her nose, not sanitizing her hands between customers, did not acknowledge me nor told me my total at the end...JUST AWEFUL!!! bad representation of PUBLIX...I expect this at McDonalds but definately not PUBLIX!!!
Yet another year yet another issue with this bakery. Nope no picture to add this year bc they never made the cake. I place an order for a cake I expect to come pick the cake up. Calling people at 7 am the day of to make sure you’re coming to get a cake is ridiculous. I place the order I want the cake. This call first is not a policy used throughout Publix. I know bc I use Publix both out of town and locally. If you’re going to change the way you’re doing business let it be KNOWN AHEAD OF TIME instead of ruining my sons birthday. They also make you pay for the cake first then come back and get it also not done at every Publix. WHY INCONVENIENCE THE CUSTOMER? If you want us to pay first put a register at the bakery. No one pays for their groceries first then go get the groceries. I wonder why this location is being treated this way? Poor experience. This is for the Camp Creek location
This has the worst deli out of all the Publix Ive ever been to. Its only one person working in the deli and its lunch time and the line has about 10 people in it. Its more workers in the deli but isnt trying to get the line down. Only in the black neighborhoods and we accept this! Its sad.
Visited location to pick up a couple of items and some chicken in the Deli/prepared foods section.Arriving at 11:00 am is ideal for getting orders from the Deli/prepared foods area at this Publixlocation otherwise youll have a long wait, due to them running out of certain foods and having to cook more. Longest wait time has been 50 minutes to 1 hour. Standing in line. The store is clean as usual fresh produce. Clean refrigerated meat section, cold cut, and dairy sections. Good service from staff.Enjoyed the visit. Food was worth the wait.
It was 20 ppl in line to have sandwiches made and only one guy making the sandwiches but several other employees there but sid not assist him at all. Two managers came over and seen the long line but did not have anyone to assist with the line. Shout out to Keith at the Deli area (keep making those sandwiches) The stars are for Keith not the store it get NO STARS
I usually buy my cakes from Publix at Midtown Atlanta but decided to give Publix at Cascade Crossing a chance. I wish I didn’t because my cake was so dry when we ate it and it also didn’t have the full strawberry flavor in it or the the full pink color like they usually are. I wasted $53.00 for nothing. I will not be ordering another cake from them.
The customer service has gone down some at this location. I stood in the produce area hoping for some assistance, and the lady I guess couldve been a manager based on not having a green shirt on never once acknowledged me. If I wasnt looking for help several employees wouldve been in my face asking.
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE AT THE DELI. No matter when you go or how many people are working, the deli and check out lines are SO long. I started ordering online when I go, but I won’t be doing that or probably coming here anymore. I just ordered two subs online, but I still just had to wait an hour for my order and then another 20 minutes to check out.
I am so proud of the store manager and all the workers which give outstanding service they definitely go out there way even with a short staff I really hope more people will apply to give the teams members some days of this story is very clean needed more stock but other than that outstanding oh yes this team deserves a raise All including the mangers
I had the worst experience ALL 2020. From not having my order ready to making the wrong order and Customer service sucks. Everytime I give them a try I end up at the one on Veterans Memorial. Just left from another bad experience and where am I VETERANS MEMORIAL. I give up. Im never shopping at the cascade location again.
I waited in line for a wrap at the deli for what seemed like FOREVER!!!! The staff, while very friendly and polite, were so slow it was mind numbing. I have never seen a group of service employees so unconcerned with patrons time or patience. Had they moved any slower they would have been moving backwards. If youre looking for a quick bite this is NOT the go to spot. If you have an eternity to waste, by all means stop on by, they will not disappoint.
Poor customer service at the hot deli. I decided to give this publix a try again after 7months, and same issue remains. Stood in line 15 minutes before I was acknowledged, then another 10 before I was helped. No exaggerating. I tried to support the community, but if my hard earned dollar cant be appreciated, Ill take it elsewhere. Do better people.
Keith(?) working in the hot foods section just laughing, talking, arguing all over the open food with his mask completely down. Interacted with about 6 other Publix employees in the department and no one said anything. Normally I don’t get 1 star reviews but you know he could kill someone.
This place is terrible. I waited in the deli line for 20 minutes and was not even close to being served. I finally gave up. It doesn’t take that long to put wings in a box or make a sandwich. I’m turned off from Publix forever because of this experience. I guarantee you that this isn’t the standard in white communities. It’s ridiculous. I love Publix, but I won’t come here again.
Mike in the floral and gift department is AMAZING!I was in a rush...flustered with getting the last few items to make my nephews 30th birthday gift special, and Mikes customer service was incredible. He was patient with me, even though I was a difficult customer for not being decided on what I wanted. Thank you for your grace and mercy. He is a MUCH NEEDED ASSET to this community: my community.
On September 23rd, I arrived at the deli around 3:40PM to order 2 sandwiches. The line had about ten ppl in front of me. I waited a little over an hour to order my sandwiches. Managers acted like they didnt care. The deli associates showed no urgency in getting the line down. I was extremely dissatisfied with the service. I would give zero stars if it wasnt for the delicious food.
Regardless of any negative reviews regarding this store..ive always had a pleasant shopping experience! From the people in the meat department to the, deli, cashiers, produce..these are some if the most sweet and helpful people you can meet..always willing to help you! Store is always clean and I love it!
Please remove the Publix logo from this store. It is dishonest to mislead customers into thinking that they are going to have anything resembling a Publix experience here or anything resembling a pleasure. Every time I come in here I end up infuriated and repeated complaints have no effect on the lack of customer service, rude employees, horrendous waits to get to the customer service counter (15 minutes plus) or a sandwich (30 minutes plus with 6 people in front of me at 2 pm, six employees in the deli, three of them literally doing nothing but visiting with one another, and ONE making sandwiches). This store needs a Winn Dixie sign or some other third rate chain. This is not a Publix on the inside. Isnt Ed Crenshaw in charge of this area? Come on dude, you are better than this!
Yesterday I ordered my meds. This morning I go to pick up my meds but was uninformed that the pharmacist had a problem with the dosage of another med that I was taking. So I informed her that I had been on these meds for the last 11 years and had not had an interaction so go ahead and fill the prescription. It took half hour for her to do that and that was because I asked how much longer it would be. And my meds were just sitting in the basket.. I will pull all my prescriptions from here. Poor customer service.
So this review is strictly for the Deli...I do understand that they close at 9...the previous 2 times Ive stopped by this location after the gym around 8 no later than 8:10pm and they are out of white bread, that is understandable. The last time I decided to go a little earlier at 6:34, a little over 2 hours before they closed and they were still out of white bread. Why are you guys preparing to close with more than 2 hours left on your shift? Im no longer frequenting this location for the Deli.
Best fresh meats ever I was riding around the city looking for nice clean small size turkey wings an nobody had them so boom 💥 Publix came to my mind an I went on over they have 2 turkey wings in a pack for 3 to 5 dollars high I know right but everything is at all times high i remember a pack of turkey wings was 3 dollars 2020
Where to begin? I order a sub online around 3:30. Arrive at Publix’s around 3:50 to not see my sandwich on the warming rack and seen one lonely old lady making sandwich by herself! Smh. I waited in line with 4 other ppl for about 30 minutes! Then received a phone call from Publix’s saying they aint got no flat bread. So basically an hour went by before a simple sandwich was even thought of. I will not be ordering online from this location anymore.
Clean establishment. But deli is very slow. The employees rather make their breakfast than to assist customers. They have no respect for your time I come every now and then its the same things every morning. Take me 15 to 20min to get a sandwich made when Im the only one in line
Ive visited a bunch of Publixes between Miami and Atlanta, and Im totally comfortable saying that this is the worst Publix. There is almost no fruit selection, there is never anyone working in the meat slicing section of the deli, and the general selection of groceries and friendliness of staff that I expect to find in any other Publix is lacking.Go to Cascade Kroger instead. The service kinda sucks, but the products are well priced and the house brand is great.

2022-07-02This was my first time at the market just going in to kill some time. It was easy to find everything and the staff was friendly and quick to check in to make sure we didnt need help. They were also helpful with checkout without even asking. Definitely would go back while in the area.

2021-12-14Customer service desk was very professional and helpful. Friendly and eager to help. Food selection was fresh but they didn’t have the things I was looking for that I find in my local store. They have curbside service available and self check out options. Clean and organized store.

2022-02-03I decided to try here because the Kroger near me is terrible and I have to say I was very satisfied with how clean it was and the selection of meats and produce. Deli line was long, but at least they have a deli that is open! Sandwich I ordered was great! So I understand the longer line. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

2021-12-15The deli at this location takes substantially longer to make things than any other Public location. I have been standing in line with only 4 people in front of me for 32mins. And I’m still waitingin line! In 32mins they were only able To complete 2 people’s orders! Absolutely ridiculous! Publix please do better!

2022-05-27Very well stocked and organized. Employees are helpful and generous. A bit priced more than average than your local piggly wiggly, but the meats seafood and produce and fresh and delicious.

2022-04-30Tired of the poorly managed deli section. I have waited in this line with no one in it with me for over 20 min. I mentioned it to the bakery manager and nothing was done. I told them that there were three people making subs with only 2 customers in the line for them and absolutely no one tending to cutting meats and cheese. Their excuse was people are on lunch…but there are three workers and one was virtually making online orders. Everytime I come here they are not attending to customers. New management needed.

2022-06-01Ms. Vicky worked so hard getting the line down in a speedy and accurate manner. She was very courteous. I will recommend coming to this Publix deli anytime! Thanks Ms. V from my family of four.

2022-05-17Management needs to pay more attention to items they run out of quickly. For instance -- egg bagels. This is the Publix that probably doesnt have anyway. I have found expired milk on the shelves before, as well.

2022-06-10The chicken tender sub was terrible. Im usually very pleased with Publix subs. But I Do Not recommend ever getting the chicken tenders one. I was extremely disappointed. The chicken was Tough.
