I wish I could give negative stars. Do not order catering platters here. So unprofessional... I had a over three hundred dollar order I even called confirmed and was told I got you a week before my order was to be picked up. We show up to stuff not made, missing platters and attitude. This was on my wedding day. As a bride the last thing I needed was a Publixs manager yelling at me on my day saying it is my fault because I didnt pick up the phone one hour before my order was due... You had 2 weeks to stock and prepare for my order sir. Then he passed me to an employee who said hello rudely in my ear then asked the name on my order like I was starting over. This store ruined my wedding food and it all looked terrible and tasted terrible what I got. I cant say enough bad things about my experience.
The crowning achievement of this Publix is its inattentive butcher shop (which is highly skilled in avoiding customers). I get it. The staff in the butcher department has many tasks to do. Customers just get in the way. (UPDATE: Problem solved. They got rid of their customer counter in the butcher section).
This is where I shop; wife shops Kroger. Customer service was always what stood Publix apart- I should know I worked there for 5 years when I was younger. The bakery here is dismal. Ordered cupcakes for sons birthday and they misplaced the order. Called the night prior just to make sure and lucky we did. Just did pickup on the cupcakes with 6 staff including the manager in bakery. Took far to long to even acknowledge me.Kroger, here I come.
This is a very big Publix. I was really surprised by the size. Ive always enjoyed Publix over other grocery store chains and this one is a prime example of perfection. The deli here is phenomenal. Always have chicken in stock and fresh as well as all made to order items.
Is one of the cleanest, friendliest, great customer service publix that are around Marietta the store manager Randy Its very friendly and very helpful and willing to help anybody in need Ive been through 2 different publix and a kroger and luckily with Randys help I found in his store. One of the best publix around.
Really disappointed in Publix brand ingredients. Their family dinner meals are loaded down with high fructose. I thought Publix was better service better food? Turns out you can get food with better ingredients from any other store. We bought dinner from here frequently but not anymore. Its nearly impossible to find jelly without it, pickles without coloring and polysorbate 80. even Walmart has food with butter ingredients. Very disappointing Publix!!
Right now (10:30am) Publix has a moderate number of people. Most were masked with a few stalwarts exercising their right to spread Covid-19. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and considerate. The store is always clean and well stocked except for those few premium Cleaning Products. There is always plenty of parking. But WHY are carts abandoned Willy Nilly like unwanted surgical masks!!?? Nonetheless, this Publix is my go-to.
Very clean. Staff was willing to help. A self check out area. (Not Publix have that) restrooms in FRONT of the store, most are clear in the back. Veggies & fruit to far left of the store so you can get them last. Although I like Kings Plaza is laid out very well. Thats my two cents.
Multiple times i have ordered a sub from the deli online . It gives me a time to be ready, usually 30 plus minutes from the time i have ordered it which is fine. The problem is when i arrive 10 minutes after the pickup time THEY PICKED , it would be ready and its not even ready. The whole purpose of ordering online is to save me time since i only have limited time for lunch. why do they offer this service if its to hard for them. They might want to hired more competent people or fire they person who does the hiring. Just horrible service.
Publix at Highland Plaza has the nicest, most professional staff ever! They never fail to help me if I need it and during this horrible quarantine, they all show up and are as nice as ever. They are real soldiers in this war against the virus, keeping their stock up and keeping the place as clean as it can be.And today I had delivery from there and Jennifer did an outstanding job. I love Publix and I love their employees! Thank you for all you do and for being there for us during this quarantine.
As one of the larger Publics stores, it was raining which made for a very wet, messy Situation but, we found refuge from warm smiles & greetings from the front line employees. Throughout the store we found the same attitude with the added ingredient of cleanliness. The checkout was met with a clean grocery belt & a friendly face. Oh, one more thing, on the way out an employee was cleaning the front door lower rudders. Nice.
This is by far the nicest Publix I have shopped at, with the friendliest staff. I would like to thank Kent for being such a helpful and kind employee. He was able to direct me to where I needed to go for the produce I was shopping for, and was so genuine and personable! He is a fine example of excellence!
This Publix seems to care more about making their shelves look full over maintaining inventory. It seems to have been declining over the past couple years, but Ill swing by any other grocery store on my way home over this one. Nothing worse than a wasted trip or having to go somewhere else because they cant keep up with supply and demand... Cant believe I am saying this, but the Kroger across the street has surpassed them on dependability. And that Kroger is awful. Also, check expiration dates on everything. This Publix likes to keep their shelves stocked with expired food.
Got 2 items that earned cash back - Sunmaid pb&j bites with Ibotta and Fetch Rewards and Axe spray-on deodorant with Fetch Rewards. However, I was rather disappointed this particular Publix location didnt even seem to carry Goya rice pudding - seems like in the Atlanta area only Publix carries this item, and I missed out on a cash back double play with Checkout51 and Swagbucks
Disappointed in their deli department. Used the app to order a chicken tender sub for my son to pick up after swim practice (9:15 pm on a school night.) When he went in, they told him they were out of chicken tenders. We did not receive any notification via the app, email, phone or text. Just a big waste of time.
The lady who does the sampling is beyond rude and shouldn’t have a job working with people. The deli and produce staff are exceptional I will give them that. The cashiers need to learn to be polite and the customer service desk flat out sucks. If I wanted to shop at a store with crappy customer service I would just go to Walmart. Please do better!
I worked back at this publix in the late 90s and shop there the last serval years but my last two visits customer service have been bad. Today I went to self-check out I prefer then going through the traditional lane. The computer would not ring up my item. The guy said I had to go through a reguar lane because he could not input the number for me to pay for it. I said ok and left you would think today with you can buy so many things online they could do that at self-check out. I am at the point they lost me as a regular customer.
Employee was walking around without a mask on last week. My fiance went to bring it up with customer service and found the same mask-less employee there yucking it up with the managers, who apparently didnt have a problem with her putting customers at risk. We wont be back.
The bakery is terrible. The cakes always taste good (like every other publix cake) but 4 times I have ordered a cake here and ALL 4 times they have screwed it up! The most recent was my daughters first birthday cake and I was livid. The store manager (Patty) was very helpful but it was frustrating to have to deal with a screwed up cake the day of her party. Shame on me for giving them another chance.
Disappointed for the second time!!! The delivery online order system for the deli is not living up to a 5 star rating. The sandwich is suppose to be ready in the appropriate time you select however it wasnt plus it took another 30 minutes just because the lady that was making it was very slow. Second time, they didnt put all the included ingredients on my Reuben. There is nothing more annoying than to get home to see that your food is not the way you want it!! They really need to do a better job with the online ordering.
Always a decent place to shop. they sometimes have things that Kroger does not. however, i tend to grocery shop late at night and this Publix closes at 11. still, they have a huge selection and an inviting atmosphere with skylights that makes it a joy to shop during the day
Great medium sized center with many tenants and a terrific anchor Publix that we love to shop at on the way home. Steve Stallings the meat manager will go way out of the box to keep all meat and seafood aficionados super happy with custom cuts and orders. Sometimes drive 10 miles out of the way to have these fine folks take care of we foodies special pain in the neck requests. Store managers totally on point at store 33. The Flynn Family in Marietta, GA
Rude Rude Rude Manager. Jim at this store #0033 Highland Plaza is a real character. He has lost my business and my families and every neighbor i can find. He actually told me my business does not matter. Must be the white Tshirt and blue jeans and flip flops. I think he thinks he owns Publix? I am the consumer and i am sure Kroger will take my business. By the way, I have never complained about a retail store in more than 15 years or more. Its not in my nature to give one star reviews but this store manager deserves it. I respect the hard efforts of the butchers, bakers and staff at the store and i love the pharmacy ran by Felicia. Good Job folks, shame on your boss though.
This is my favorite Publix ever! Its one of the largest ones Ive ever been in, its always super clean and its very very well lit, and they have it all. They have a complete food bar, deli and cheese station, seating area.. you name it. I shop here just about everyday.
Even though Publix Store 33 was operating on generator power and it was fairly dark inside they were still open. Associates were very helpful. Refrigerated products however were not available for sale. Understandably so. Customers were directed to near by Publixes for refrigeratorated items.
WORST customer service. We waited in line for about 10 min with my 9 month pregnant woman at the sub station and when it was out turn , they ran out of bread. The lady saw us waiting in line and she knew that they were out of bread and didn’t bother to say anything. Other lady brought some type of white rolls instead. This is not the first time it happens plus it’s NOT the sans bread and it’s always old bread. We asked to talk to a manager , when the bakery manager came to talk to us , she didn’t care at all. I am really fed up with Publix. I will spend my money somewhere else.
Had plenty of the most delicious foods known to all of man kind because it had plenty of seafood choices and treat choices and healthy choices which is pretty freaking awesome. The only problem I have with it at all is that it has none of those cheap toot packsthat are common in most stores, so I rate it for stars
Absolute worst service ever. Completely understaffed for the amount of volume this store is used to doing. I have lived in the area for 20 years and I will NEVER return. I bet the store manager gets a big bonus with a lower labor percentage. I will be contacting a corporate office to tell them how terrible the store is being run.

2022-06-27This location is always clean, well stocked, friendly & helpful if you need assistance. Normally the cashiers will greet you with a smile & tell you to have a nice day when you finish your transaction. That was not the case today. Maybe she was having a bad day or just trying to get customers out the door quickly. Whatever the case may or may not be, I personally know Publix prides themselves on their exceptional customer service & this young lady was not an example of that today. Maybe her attitude changed after her break.

2022-02-10Went shopping for groceries today and my list was quite lengthy about 42 items. I was concerned that I would not get all of my items. Luckily to my pleasant surprise, I found ALL of my items!!! The store was so clean and organized. The associates were pleasant and eagerly willing to help me, without me feeling like I was bothering them. Love this location!!!!

2022-05-24This location is generally well stocked and well run. The produce is generally of good quality and they have a bulk food section with a few bins. The stores in the Publix chain are generally well cared for and this one lives up to that standard.

2022-05-08Thank you to the sweet lady in the florist department that made this beautiful corsage for my daughters prom. It turned out so much better than the corsages from the high end florist that cost double and triple the price Thank you again for making her night memorable

2022-07-05I’ve been driving everywhere trying to get my friends prescription filled. We have been to multiple locations and when we finally find one that has a prescription they won’t fill it for her! It’s on backorder at all the Walgreens. We’ve been calling different places all weekend. Whoever is in the pharmacy was RUDE! She has no business talking to anyone!

2022-04-14Very busy today. Clogged aisles, but everyone was trying to be considerate of others. Some product outages due to supply chain issues. Plenty of cashiers, so checkout moved quickly. Very clean store with helpful employees.

2022-03-27I grew up only going to Publix and I think this one is great like the rest. However Im not a fan of this stores layout. If youre used to most Publix stores, this one is just off.

2022-03-05Visited yesterday for a prescription. I tried to ask few basic questions about insurance but the employee kept cutting me off so I didnt even get to ask. She didnt ask if I had any questions either.
