My wife asked me to get some balloons blown up for a baby shower and I actually thought it would be an ordeal. I could not have had a better experience. Customer Service called someone to floral and Danielle appeared right away.I had brought my own balloons and thought that would be a problem, but it wasnt. Danielle asked me how I wanted them arranged and got to work. To make the most of my time, she told me that if I had other shopping I could do, I could do so.When I came back, she was pretty much done. Some cheap balloons I had brought popped and werent up to the quality she had, so she took the initiative to use the better ones. She had thought through all of the scenarios of how we might want to use the balloons and gave the right clips and weights for what we likely would do. She explained everything and offered to help me get the balloons to the car (I was all good).Weve shopped at this Publix for 22 or so years and have always been happy, but its service like Danielle provided that makes that an easier decision in the future.
I was in this Publix and received the worst service from multiple employees. There was a woman giving me attitude about a sub, then when I went to complain all the employees were occupied. This was by far my worst experience in a Publix to date, and I am very disappointed.
Sorry Kings rd, but shopping was not a pleasure today when at 6 I stopped and asked for 4 fried chicken breasts at your deli case. The guy with the bun on top of his head went to the back and asked an older man for them and was told none were available.Once he informed me, no reason to stand in line and I left the cart sit. But Kings Rd, all was not list as Carlos who was working behind the deli case at the King Market location, and who also did not have 4 breasts offered to drop them if I was will to wait.I was more than happy to wait and applaud Carlos on his customer service, something I mistakenly thought was at the core of Publix
I just had to come on here and say how much I love this publix location . I came in with my three kids today everyone ( as they always are , it’s Publix) as always was extremely friendly from the managers to cashiers ! They are always stocked every single time with everything I need and the food is fresh . Pharmacy is great too! Whoever is doing the hiring is doing it to perfection . I will literally never get my groceries anywhere else . They respect ALL their customers . Thank you Publix! Really makes your day when people are kind especially with how mean people can be in stores with all the covid stuff.
Always impressed when I shop at this store! Most of the associates are very friendly and go above and beyond for my needs. One cashier in specific is Cameron. He was such a sweetheart! He began by asking how I was doing and if I had found everything I was looking for. An item that I was buying was apparently marked incorrectly on the shelf, so I thought it was much cheaper. He had someone go and double check to make sure and afterwards rang me up a “Publix promise”. His attitude was very enthusiastic and made me realize how much I enjoy shopping at Publix.
Very limited produce. Fresh veggies especially. I hate to be that guy but today I went to go pick up a 8 piece chicken and when I asked the gentleman for the chicken he directed me to the already packaged chx. I told him I would rather have a fresh one due to sometimes the chx that was pre-boxed did not taste as fresh. He told me they were the same batch, again I asked just for the chx that was in the tray, and again he tried to explain it was the same chx. Sadly I walked away with no chx. What happen to customer service, I don’t care if it came from same batch and frankly it didn’t matter. If a customer asked they should have to continue. The Crabapple Publix will be my new store not just for this but overall a better representation of Publix all around.
Excellent custom service from the Bakery representative that helped me with a cake. Hate I didnt get her name. I also received first class and friendly service from Danielle with balloons, Brian at check out and Jack with my cart. Thank you for making my shopping experience a pleasure today!
RX Staff can be rude at times. Some are very nice but then others are rude when we ask to pick up after shopping in an hour. They act as if theyre doing us a favor. A few times said to busy. Its hard for me to get out. Im disabled and I use them so I can sit in cart while I shop.
I ordered deli meats on the Publix Website using their search engine and store locator. I gave 2 hours advance notice and when I arrived after a 15 minute drive, I was advised they no longer carry those meats (Publix brands and Boars Head brands). I asked why I gave my phone number and Email address and no one called me. We get busy. Im done.
Great Store! My grandparents and I have been going here since its opened and I’ve had nonstop pleasant experiences! The Staff is SUPER helpful and friendly, and the store is always maintained and clean. They restock their shelves so often that I’ve never had a problem finding what I need! I would highly recommend shopping here :)
Great for your weekly chance to get Covid. Doesnt matter the time of day or day of week you go, if there are customers there Publix will not enforce their mask requirements.I have been shopping at this publix for over a decade. But the past several months I have never been without seeing at least two people in the store not wearing a mask, that includes an employee having a leisurely conversation with their maskless wife and kids , maskless repair techs, and young and old not caring about the health of themselves or others.I never thought Id say this, but Im going to Target for my groceries now.
If you enjoy standing in line for 20 minutes only to be told that the deli workers dont have someone tall enough to get what you ordered of the freezer shelf they come here. Thats after you stand in line for five to ten minutes being ignored. The times Ive gotten what I wanted it tatted good enough. Prices are a bit high. Cashiers are nice enough and very chatty
My experience of shopping at this publix has been great every single time. They have very professional, courteous, and caring staff. The cashiers are the check out are amazing. I havent seen this kind of excellent service at any other grocery store, or even a restaurant. It seems, they have trained their staff very well. As a result, I find myself going there more often.
Sorry, but produce has been less than fresh. Havent seen watering of produce for months and it shows. Im also a little fed up with buying desserts that are not sweet. Saving on sugar?Been a Publix shopper for many many years. Its not really earning its reputation for top of the line.
I would like to say first and foremost, I HATE the “stripped shirt” managers at Publix! They serve no purpose only to come out to either yell at staff or humiliate customers. Well my Publix on 885 Woodstock Road Roswell GA 30075 has a “stripped shirt” by the name of Travis. I was redeeming a raincheck for my Huggies and I went to the desk to check out because I knew I would need a Supervisor. Well when I walked by he starred me down and gave me a look that was so uncomfortable that it was noticeable. Well he was supposed to be helping out the cashier with bagging but my standing at the register was really breaking his concentration with the customer at hand that he was attending to. He immediately rushed over to the desk to ask me if he could help me. So I told him I had a raincheck and needed to be checked out. His whole demeanor was rude. He starred at me RC (nothing wrong), he only put in the Publix coupon once ( I had to explain to him that it’s for 8 items not one), then he looks at my manufacturer coupon and says that this cannot be combined! Now that’s when I flipped!!!! Because the entire checkout was an interrogation and not a fast checkout experience. I took the items back but I also pulled up the Publix coupon policy to let him know. In the middle of the hall with tons of people around he is talking to me clapping his hands and loud and aggressive. The words were professional but your customer service skill was offensive. I’ve never had someone speak to me (especially a Publix rep that aims to please) clapping their hands together and loud in the middle of the walkway. However, like I told him I felt targeted from the moment he saw my buggy and from the way he scrutinized every thing I gave him, that he did not want me to complete my purchase and if he was successful in humiliating a customer. So bravo Travis!
Ive returned one shelved item due to it being expired, only to find another expired item on the shelf. I decided to give this location another try and purchased my groceries from there today. I informed the cashier of a damaged deli meat container that I found and went home. As Im packing lunch for tomorrow I found my breakfast protein snacks to be expired. I will never be shopping at this location again. The employees always seem to be busy or non-existent and the quality of purchases is obviously lacking. Ill be notifying the general manager of my observances after returning my expired product tomorrow. Im giving a 2 star review because its still simply better than Wal-Mart.
Ive been trying to craft a scenario in my noggin that features Publix management encouraging--nay, requiring!--their employees to be uniformly friendly, helpful, and conscientious. I cant, because Ive been myriad places, interacted with untold thousands of employees at other groceries, and have shambled around the mortal coil more times than I care to admit...publicly, at least, and have never found better employees.Ive also been in charge of managing people and recognize that you cant compel cranky sourpusses to be smiling workers. I really have no idea how Publix does it, when other grocery retailers (and retailers of all ilks) have employees that are apathetic, slovenly, and, at times, outright hostile.Publix executes retail the way that most people would envision, if people had their druthers. Employees here--and every Publix Ive ever patronized--are exemplary. From appearance to disposition to knowledge of the store, Publix staff are at the apex of the retail sector. As several other reviewers have noted, your trivial query becomes the most pressing item on their to-do list when you ask for assistance. They dont just point in a vague direction and mumble something, they will take you there directly and without displaying the impatience and impertinence that youd receive most other places.+1 on the deli sandwiches. I dont always go to Publix when Im pining for a sub sammitch, but when I do, I feel like Ive scored a gastronomical delight...on a relative scale accounting for sandwich goodness. Publix deli subs are sandwich greatness.Wander around and find stuff that youve never seen. Pick up staples. Buy a steak. Youll pay more than you would elsewhere (except that Joes place), but youll be getting high quality and superior service. If you ever get something home that dissatisfies you, return it with no hassles. I wish all shopping was as pleasant as it is at Publix.
Lots of expired food on the shelves. If you take it to customer service they just take the product from you and claim they’ll let the grocery crew know, but it doesn’t actually seem to be stopping the problem from happening again. Tostados in particular are always a month or two past their date.

2022-03-16I just left this Publix and had the best experience ever. I am vegan and was looking for a quick bite to eat. I went straight to the produce section to grab a fruit bowl. The young lady that was neatly stocking the shelf engaged in conversation with me and helped me tremendously. I grabbed three fruit bowls and a salad. I was unable to find a dressing under the salad that did not contain milk. She told me to check out the deli counter for other options and where to find a basket bc my hands were full. I was unable to find what I needed so I started putting everything back. She asked if she could help and I said yes. The salad that I had did not have cucumbers(my favorite) and she went to the Deli and asked if I could get some. They put them in a bag. While standing there she asked if honey mustard had milk in it and I told her yes. Then we looked up on the menu and noticed that the deli has Vegan Ranch dressing. She kindly added the dressing to my salad, gave my napkins, salt and pepper, and a fork. This was a great experience. Unfortunately, I did not get the young ladies name.

2022-05-29This is my neighborhood Publix and someone in my family (usually me) is there 2-3 times a week. The selection is good, prices are fair and clearly marked and the staff (exception -Rx) are friendly and professional. I really appreciate how they’ve ramped up on organic products and free range/grass fed meats and poultry - thank you! Rx personnel seem a bit cranky and unhelpful compared to prior pharmacy folks but maybe they are simply understaffed and overtaxed in that department.

2022-07-10Incredible menu and every meal I have had, has been so well prepared. We phoned our order in for curbside pickup. It was delivered on time, as requested. Would definitely recommend.

2022-03-20Store is great, clean and always great experience also when it comes to people and choices but I am VERY disappointed recently I am noticing I will be charged extra at the checkout. For example Bacon I buy it is 6.49 they will charge 7.19. Advil was 4.49 I was charged 6.80. This is very important to pay attention to. I am letting all of my friends know about it. I think someone is doing this on purpose 🤔 It happened several times in past 2 weeks for different items. 😡

2022-06-12I didnt pay attention to which Publix I ordered a cake from and ended up going to the other one in my neighborhood instead of my usual. Like all Publix, this one was full of friendly employees, clean and well stocked.

2022-03-14Publix is a very clean, organized and well organized grocery facility with a largely focused and professional staff that is focused on maximizing the customer experience. Prices are marginally higher than alternatives but the quality is exceptional.

2022-01-25Getting my Covid booster shot proved to be a good learning experience. Although it has been widely advertised one could get any booster shot of their choice if they had the J&J vaccine, my Kroger Pharmacy told me that was contrary to their store policy, and wouldnt give me the booster.I checked with Publix and they welcomed me with open arms. The experience was a breath of fresh air. They even placed all my literature and vaccine card in a nice bag and wished me well. What a pleasant experience! Great place to shop or get your meds and vaccines.
