3rd time we’ve online ordered from the deli. 1st time we waited 15 extra mins, 2nd time 25 extra mins, and this last time we waited 40 minutes past when it was supposed to be ready. Ordered at 5:30, pick up time by 6pm, finally got our order at 6:40. Deli workers are slow and were unconcerned with us waiting for 70 total mins on 2 subs. Wasnt even busy. One of the subs had its cheese melted to the plastic wrapper and wasnt cut. Food was good but not likely to go back
If you like Publix subs like I do, DO NOT go to this location. The deli here is slower than watching paint dry. The lady making the subs is walking around like she literally has a ball and chain attached to her ankle. Sloths move faster... You should never have to wait 20+ minutes in a 3 person line just to order. Most people only get an hour for lunch. By the time you get your sub, your lunch break is gone.
This Publix is within a 3 mile radius of my home. I really like the quality of goods from their like home made bakery. The store always looks like somebody cares about it. Produce is high quality and the store personnel always glad to be of assistance. Thank you Publix!
On my first visit to this Publix deli, they were understaffed and low on sandwich making ingredients, as we arrived at 1:30 pm. Having stood in line behind one customer, whose single sandwich seemed to take a lifetime to prepare, my sandwich required two trips to the back to obtain Boars Head meats for my ultimate sub, and another trip for cutting more provolone cheese. With time for toasting and adding ingredients, plus speedy checkout, my total time in the store stretched to 20 very hungry minutes. However, the sandwich was delicious.
This Publix Super Market has fantastic customer service. They are really nice people and serve their customers well. We have had great experiences in exchanging out produce that went bad and getting wrongly priced merchandise handled in an exceptional manner.Yesterday the bagger bagged our uncooked meat with my donuts. Not acceptable!
Same as every other Publix youve ever been in. Friendly staff, brightly lit, wide aisles, staff to take your stuff to your car, you pay for that stuff though on the price tag. Everythings a little bit more at Publix but a lot of people think its worth it. I could take or leave some of the fluff but Ive always had a good experience here.
The people who work there are great and the products are adequate but the dang bagging things makes me never want to visit another publix. Every single item I had gave me issues, you scan it put it in the bagging area then a message pops up on your screen saying to put the item in the bagging area. Then you take it out and re put it in because thats the only way to make it go away and then something else pops up that says unexpected item in bagging area. It took me and my 11 items 20 mintues to get through self checkout. I had to have someone come over numerous times, then I felt like I needed someone to come check my receipt after I finally finished so that they could make sure everything was there and I wasnt unintentionally stealing something due to the checkout hassle. Thankfully everything was there and got scanned, but the hassle of it all was ridiculous. If you find yourself at this location I recommend not using the self checkout.
I gotta admit I love how understaffed the entire Publix Deli is. 6 people waiting around in a group and only 1 man at the deli counter. I guess all the other workers hide in the back or busy themselves with useless small tasks to avoid assisting customers. After waiting over 15 min for just 1 customer to get attended to and still had 4 others waiting ahead of me I knew I wasnt going to continue waiting.Management please address this.
!!!DO NOT SHOP/ORDER HERE!!!Put in an order for 4 subs an hour prior to getting to the store for pickup. All subs were supposed to be ready at 7:15pm and when I arrived, no subs. Asked the person working in the deli if they had been prepared, no answer. Talked to customer service, they informed the deli about the issue. Best part is, I had to wait for the next 40 minutes, and the extra 15 customers who showed up after me to receive my subs. Got my order at 8:10pm, an hour later. Worst company to order things, take your business elsewhere!
Publix is always good about presentation. At this particular Publix, you can find the deli to the right of the entrance, the pharmacy the left, and to the far left in the back - produce. Meat and Seafood are to the far right in the back, and dairy in the back towards the center. Publix and their employees are always happy to help if you need anything. Happy shopping with Publix, it is indeed a pleasure
Always good service and well-organized shelves. Primary reason for THIS visit was hoping to find some Gatorade Grape G2, any size 20oz or less. Like MOST of the grocery stores in the Marietta area, they had none. Not their fault: Gatorade (owned by PepsiCo I think) has discontinued the G2 (50% of the sugar calories of the regular Gatorade.) Probably to encourage the sales of their less tasty Grape G0.
Needed a propane grill tank swap. It said on the cage outside to put the old tank beside and go inside and pay for it and employee would follow you out and unlock cage. Expecting to wait a while, I went in and saw the self checkout lady and she immediately went to a self checkout, rang it up, I put my card in and she told another lady to get my tank. Couldnt be more efficient.
Its Publix which means an always great experience. This is one of 4 local Publix that I go to regularly. Its clean well lit has friendly employees, great prices, and safe. The store at Shallowford and Johnson Ferry is bigger and newer. The one at Johnson Ferry and Roswell recently opened its big and brand new. Take your pick. You cant go wrong.
Fast, friendly service. And unlike Walmart, who seems to be running out ot food supplies these days, Publix has a good alternative supply alternative to make up the difference in what you couldnt find. I recommend this Publix because it has a greater selection of food items than the other Publixs in the nearby areas.
This store is usually spot on with product availability, and great customer care. I visited this past weekend with my wife, and the deli had two workers active, with zero visible customers. My wife stood at the deli to place an order while I split off to grab a few things from our list. I returned 3 minutes later, and neither of the workers had even acknowledged her presence. When I asked if we could get some help, I was told No. Im helping another customer.. I get that people call in orders, the sub station needs meat and cheese sliced, but this is a lesson in exactly how NOT to meet customer expectations. A simple Im working on an order for another customer and will be right with you wouldve gone a long way.
Walked in at 9:30pm & was told by the deli counter people that they were cleaning the slicers so we couldnt get the meats & cheeses we needed for lunches tomorrow. The hours say they are open till 10pm. What happened to leaving one slicer open so you can serve customers until you Actually close??
I enjoy shopping here but had a not so pleasant experience with John the grocery bagger the other day. I bought a bag of Heath chocolate and the bagger says A big lady like you shouldnt be eating that followed by a laugh. I enjoy shopping here but I dont appreciate having comments made about my weight.
I cant remember the last time I had a worse experience at a grocer let alone Publix!! I just returned stale food for the 6th time in 2021 to this location. After returning the item I went to the deli to grab lunch. Usually very understaffed however today there were more than enough employees. After all customers were helped I was left standing there. I waved down an employee and asked if she could help. I asked for a meal that was on the board could not have been easier. I had to help her with each item and then with packaging the meal as if I worked. She then had trouble with the price and at that time another employee walked by...Said employee started touching each food item on my plate (bare hands) while telling the employee it was wrong. The employee that touched the food just walked away as if I didnt see what just occurred. At that point I left the store and went next door for lunch. I will not be shopping at Publix moving forward and will be giving my business to a competitor down the street. Additionally I will be contacting the health department to file a complaint for the unsanitary handling of food....DURING A PANDEMIC!
Recently found out Publix deli will do sandwich options on a gluten free wrap. Was very happy because I missed being able to get Pub subs. Ordered online and as we were in the process to go pick them up Publix called to say they were out of GF wraps. I was told when they “run out” they can just grab a new pack off the shelf but I guess that was too much to ask for. Frustrating as there is already very limited options for me to eat being a celiac.
Went their today for meds. Pharmacy is great nice personally. Went to cashiers had 2 open with about 8 people in a line. I thought i was in walmart no help. Thursday afternoon 2:30 . They said i could use self check out,my response for the price you charge. Tjis use to be a good one but has gone down .
I recently moved closer to this Publix, but even at my old home I preferred to make the drive to this Publix because this store has never let me down. This location always has the best Publix Experience no matter what time of day or volume of business, and now that I live much closer (5 minutes in bad traffic) Im happy I no longer have to make that old drive (25-30 minutes in good traffic).Their deli is the spot I visit most (Pub Subs for the win folks!) and Pauli always makes the best subs! If shes there Ill wait to have her make my order because she listens to what you want and she always has a great attitude!
Staff is always friendly and the service is always great. Reason I am writing the review today is because last night I accidentally left dropped my wallet after shopping there last night. Had a mini panic attack this morning when I couldnt find my wallet, called the store they said one of their employees found one and asked a few questions to confirm my identity. Came by and picked it up this morning. If someone from management could contact me I would like to reward the person who found my wallet with a gift card somewhere, or at the very least a free lunch. Good deeds should not go un-rewarded, it would have been very easy for someone to have not done the right thing. Thank you for hiring honest, hard-working people!
I love this Publix, but the reason I only gave it 3 stars was the decision to move the recycle bins in front of the store and take away 2 of them. Now, they are always full or overflowing, and it makes the store look trashy. They need to move them back where they were, out of the way, and bring back the other 2 to make it 5.UPDATE: They are going to try and move the bins. Much better.UPDATE: Nothing has changed. Recycle bins in the front make the store look horrible.UPDATE: It is my understanding that the placement of the recycle bins is a corporate decision. I have updated my rating to five stars as the employees are very friendly and helpful and it is a wonderful place to shop.
A young gentlemen named Brandon helped me out a lot at this location. This is my first time shopping at this location so I was a bit turned around: He went above and beyond and put such a smile on my face. I love Publix for their service and prices but with the current climate of the world I get so much attitude from employees even management and I just try to be understanding. Not only did Brandon go out of his way to ask if I needed help, when we both couldn’t find the product he came and found me in the store with what we had both looked for together. All the way to the other side of the store!!!! Randomly!!! I had forgotten about the product. I was shocked and greatful. This is the type of service I continue to come back and shop at Publix for. GIVE BRANDON A RAISE!! HE IS THE KIND OF EMPLOYEE WE NEED HELPING OUT AND DELIVERING SMILES IN THIS TIME.
There is no surprise why this Publix gets such good reviews. I recently ordered a pinwheel platter for a baby shower at my work. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication between me and the person who I ordered it through which just happens sometimes. The day of, they were unsure if my order would be ready when I originally requested. So, I spoke with the managers Chris and Chuck to let them know my predicament and my concerns. To say they went above and beyond to fix the problem would be an understatement! They were so kind and understanding. They personally drove the platter to my work to make sure our party was taken care of. There is a reason I chose to shop at this Publix and that is because of ALL of the friendly staff, their professionalism and commitment to providing top notch customer service. This is why I will continue to be a loyal customer and I appreciate them coming through for me.
I do no visit this store often. But its so amazing how consistent Publix stores are to each other. They carry different products. We arrived to find they did not have what we came for but instead of saying anything or asking for them to stock it for us. We just went to OUR store because they have made provisions to have it in stock their.I wish they had an app to see if our usual products where available but I am ok with old school attitude to go to our Publix.
Came in early Monday morning to pick up a few advertised sale items for a brunch meeting. My desired items were empty on the shelves. This young man stopped what he was doing to address my concerns and even made the trip to the store room to search and find my requested items. Thank you Devon, great customer service. You are a wonderful representative of Publix.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about ALL of the employees at this store - and I mean ALL - from deli to stock crew to bag clerk. The store manager, Dave, assistant manager, Ryan, and Muhammed in produce along with several other employees at this store have made a big impression on me in various ways. Everyone is dedicated to customer satisfaction 150% Aside from the dedicated employees, this store is kept immaculately clean - inside and out - and kept in order and fully stocked at all times. Thank you East Piedmont Publix - I am so happy this is my neighborhood store!
The store itself is wonderful. Lighting is too dim but presentation is Publix topnotch. Clean and appealing to the eye. I only gave 3 stars because the employees are sooooooooo dreadful! No smiles, no pleasantries. Almost negative attitudes. Sad. This store rocks. Only a few people rock it.
Love this neighborhood setting.. quite different from the Roswell area where I live ...Joseph in the back is so helpful and accommodating...definitely an asset to your store...I really should mention. Your entire staff from the stockers to the lady manager pitching in to bad the groceries...old school style! Enjoyed my visit and will definitely make the drive to your store from now on and tell others! Thanks to your store!
This Publix location is clean. Easy to get in and out by virtue of a traffic light. BOGOs are frequently sold out or not restocked. Produce is mediocre quality and priced higher than the local competition. It must not be a very good place to work. Many of the employees have a sour attitude. If not for the pharmacy and the location, I would likely be a former customer.
4 times in a row we have ordered online from the deli and it has yet to be ready at the time requested. A complete waste of time and not sure what the point of ordering online is when every time I have to get in the deli line and order there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ORDERING ONLINE.
I dont know about you but I love their fried or baked chicken. But, on my recent visit, I felt that I should go elsewhere like Whole Foods or Costco for baked chicken. Publix has increased the price AND are now using smaller chicken (Cornish hen). The meat was tough and dry too. What a way to make profit. Gotta give you a credit for that at least.
I never write reviews but when you order online so you dont spend your whole lunch break in line. Just to get there wait 15 mins after your sandwich was supposed to be ready and nobody even looks your direction its a little frustrating. I placed an order for 1 sub sandwich at 11.49am with a pick up time of 12.20 , I feel like thats plenty of time to make a sandwich not even counting the time I spent waiting after 12.20 solid 15mins as Im watching everyone in line get their food. To the point I had 2 leave WITHOUT MY FOOD I ORDERED to stop by a drive through. Guess online ordering is pointless.
Went all over looking for a duck for Christmas and finally found one here. Only drawback was we asked the butcher for it and he just pointed to the frozen meats (where we had just looked) and said next to turkey. We dug under turkey and geese for several mins till we found one. He could have just walked us over and showed us. Just felt pretty lazy.
Questionable COVID 19 practices: the plastic shield is in front of the cashier but the bagger is standing directly over the credit card reader without a shield there. I have to insert my card at arms length and I’m still too close. However, employees do seem to be wearing masks now. Also, they claim they are closing early and opening later to allow time to restock? Yet there’s more restocking in the middle of the day than I ever saw before this virus. More people to come in contact with in the aisles. Yay.I liked the entrance and exit only they had for awhile. It’s gone now.
Terrible experience. I asked the manager if they had Coke Cherry Zero in back since the aisle was out of stock. I got conflicting reports. Nobody was willing to check for me. He could not tell me when there delivery was. He acted as if he did not care. Better customer service at Walmart.
Two items not in stock on todays visit. Milk pints, and Pepridge Farm breadcrumbs. Not exactly exotic items. When I asked the stockboy about the lack of products, he mumbled something about the truck not due in for 2 hours. This store typically falls short in customer service compared to other Publix.
Placed an on-line order for pickup on 3/19 for pickup on 3/23. Instacart charged my credit card on the day the order was placed. Order was cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup but neither InstaCart or Publix will refund the charges for groceries never received.
It’s 7:55am in the morning & I am here trying to cash a check for $285.00.If you cash checks up to $500.00, then that amount of money should be on hand from the time you open until the time you close. If not, don’t have a sign up that states that you cash Checks!!!That funnier thing is when there are certain people working “Customer Service”, you get just that.Ensure that all of your people are on the same page including your customer service Manager.Don’t inconvenience people, Period!!!
What a place!!! Why would you shop anywhere else. Its clean, the employees are friendly and the management is on point. But if you like the union mentality of their so called competition, dirty stores and useless help, then go ahead and shop at K. Enter at your own risk. Theres more illegal aliens there than in San Diago. Publix rules.
So I have one complaint about this store and to me it is a big one. I have a lot of food sensitivities but have always been able to eat their lemon pepper wings. I have bought them at other stores with no issues. However, at this store they are terrible. Not only are they dry but they are also very spicy to the point of being almost intolerable. I cannot have spicy food at all and you would think a company like Publix would care more about its customers than to allow their employees to change the recipe of wings that are served in all other stores. I will not be visiting this location in the future.
Ive begun to dread grocery shopping. I hate Kroger, and used to love Publix until we moved to this area. This Publix is the worst. Tiny aisles, you cannot have 2 carts abreast, a disaster on busy days. Bad selection, staff stocking shelves during busy times (how dumb is that???), slow checkout, rude cashiers, clueless. They want to chit chat. I hate shopping. It is not fun. I want to get it done and go home. And they seem to be determined to make that difficult. I only go there for a few items I cant find at Trader Joe or Whole Foods, because its just too dreadful. Ugh. This Publix gives them all a bad name and yet I know so many others in Florida and other areas of Atlanta are good. But this one is the pits.
Im in this store a lot but one thing that aggravates me is the deli Dept.. so slow !! It takes fifteen minutes to get sliced cheese and turkey .. without a line of customers , either I catch it on the wrong day or something but its always very slow .. employees moving in slow motion .. The bakery on the other hand is awesome ..

2022-02-21Went in for a few items and a sub sandwich. Got a sub a few days ago and it was great.... just a small wait. Sunday early evening I waited almost 30 min for one sub sandwich. Although I was in front of the line, both people working were filling many online and call in orders. I had no idea you could order that way. The sub was very good when I finally got it. I have never experienced a wait that long for any Publix service. Perhaps knowing the projected wait times due to outside orders could help? Not that its a huge deal, but I didnt even get a sorry for your wait or did I know about all the online/phone orders ahead of me til I asked.

2022-06-24Great Publix! Love that there are tables and chairs you can actually sit down and eat a delicious sub sandwich. Love their chicken tender subs! Love their store but more pricey and fewer items on sale than Kroger.

2022-05-02Prior to COVID this was our go-to store. I understand the shortages but when an item is completely out at Publix and available in other stores, one must wonder about their suppliers our inventory control. Also, theyve (Publix) increased their prices WAY more than other supermarkets. Dont get me started on their deli service....

2022-07-01Just had the worst shopping experience at this Publix location. After being a loyal publix shopper for almost 30 years went in this morning to buy a money order for my mom. Went to the customer service desk and after being called over i asked my son who i was talking with to hold the line. I asked the young lady for the money order and inserted my debit card putting in my pin number. She rudely told me to remove it and show her my id. This was the first time i had been asked for an id when using my pin. (furthing checking online says master card and visa prohibit this with a pin verification. ) After getting the money order i asked why was it necessary to show my id after inputting my pin and requested the manager) Waited about 7 minutes then the manager comes out and informs me that because i was on my phone i could have been verbally being coached on the phone?!?!?!. Really?! I absolutely will not spend another dime at this Publix.

2022-05-10Nice layout and was able to find things easily. This isnt my normal location, but loved the variety of things that were available. I was only picking up a couple of items so the self checkout was great!

2022-06-18Ordered two subs online. One was a whole veggie sub and it came with two slices of chese on the whole sub, barely any veggies and no oil and vinegar. Other sub was not toasted but had much more fillings. We love pub subs but will go elsewhere next time.Otherwise, this is a nice publix location.

2022-03-13Im new to the area but not new to Publixs great service between Florida and other metro ATL locations. On my first trip here, I just walked by the meat counter and was asked if I needed any help. See if you get that attention to service at Kroger. The location is a little tricky getting in and out of but other than that, one of the better ones Ive visited between FL and GA locations.

2022-06-04The manager at this store ... Well.. They stay out of a lot of stuff. No personality at all in this store. You ask a question they look at you like you got 4 eyes. Pharmacy has gotten worse , and store could care less.

2022-06-06The deli is extremely slow. They have no sense of urgency and work on other tasks before tending to customers first. Kind of a bummer when you’re trying to get a sub on your lunch break.
