Positive: The only good thing about this hotel is that is was near where I needed to be the next day. Negative: This is definitely a 1 star hotel. I think the roaches would agree. There also is no full breakfast. We were given sack breakfast with a granola bar, fruit cup, and water.
Omg! Roach motel at its finest! Opened the door, horrible smell, turned on lights and roaches everywhere. I am still itching and I wasn’t in there for 1 minute. At least the receptionist was nice enough to tell us somewhere else to go to and she was apologetic. Refund to card within 24 hrs.
This had to be the worst place I’ve ever checked into, the room was nasty and I mean everything in it the sheets were covered in black stains and the carpet was sticky and nasty. One star is too much and we didn’t stay but went next door to Holiday Inn Express. The room number was 108. They did offer to give us another room but after seeing this one we didnt think any of the others would be any better. We were still charged for the room even though we didnt stay in it.
Positive: Not shit. Negative: The hotel was nasty. The floor was filthy. The beds looked slept in. There were roaches. They stole my personal COLORED towels and then lied about cleaning my room when I returned. Front desk staff was an air head. She acted like she did not know anything
Would not recommend this hotel. It is not worth the price. Was very disappointed. Have stayed there several times throughout last 40 years and it has gone done hill. There is a great restaurant that is just going to waste. Could open up give some people in Waycross a job.
I advise anyone to ask to see room before purchase.the room there giving you and not the model room.Fighting roaches, claim to have been deep cleaned but furniture full of dust.Awoke with a head cold because you can see right through the door.No seal at all.Soap dish just nasty. No smoke detector. Carpet hasnt been vacumed.Refrigerator and microwave filthy. All out very bad experience. #126 almost think its the room the maids chill out at.Even pillows not fluffed at all like they were just moved.had to get ant and roach spray just to try and get sleep.Tub wasnt cleaned at all.
The staff were very nice & tried to be helpful. The room they 1st gave me had roaches & spiders roaming freely in the room. I came down to exchange rooms & the 2nd one while a little better still had roaches. They were helpful in canceling my reservation & I was able to get my points back. Must say while I waited 2 other guests had to come into the lobby to exchange rooms because the one they were given was dirty.
Room was clean but the bed must have been used as a trampoline. I have never woke with my rib hurting until I slept there. Place gets to the cleaning hussle early in the morning...felt sorry for anyone sleeping on the first floor. Felt like we were being rushed to leave. Thanks for sleeping now its dawn and u must leave. Well make sure you understand by having the lawn service blow the parking lot dust all over your car. And for good measure Well knock knock on your door because we do not understand the little sign hanging on the door handle.Probably best suited for a quick business stay than a restful family stay.
Reserved this hotel for a night stay. First thing I notice was the not so pleasant smell in the lobby. After checking in and going to the room, we turned right back around. The room was full of mold on the walls and ceiling. But that’s not all. The tenants or guest looked to be very shady. Needless to say, we did not stay here and got a refund and went to another hotel down the street. This hotel needs new management and lots of upkeep and maintenance. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my family nor friends.
Was not my best experience. Here 12 days for work and the rooms were somewhat clean but got off this morning and roaches were in my things and in my bed. I asked for a refund which I did receive. The people are nice I just think the rooms could be sprayed for bad smells and bugs. The water was not hot and I had big stains on my covers.
Been staying here once a week for the last 3 years.. over the past year, this has took a major dive. Rooms are nasty and smelly. Then today the lady checking me in asked for $20 cash to do a early check-in as a Dimond member.. thats it for me, on the phone with choice hotels as I type.
Upon entering the non-smoking room, the strong smell of cigarette smoke was extremely overpowering. I noticed the room was very dated. Electrical outlet covers were hanging off the wall, The sink was cracked and the tub was dirty. Then I noticed on the bed, there was some mold growth on the bottom mattress. The top cover on the bed was black as if it was dirty and not cleaned very well, And the pillows were half the size of normal pillows for a king size bed. Paint was peeling off the walls and there seems to be apparent water damage throughout the room. After walking around the floor in my socks for about 10 minutes the bottom of my socks were solid black. I ended up getting a room in an adjacent hotel and staying there overnight. I will definitely skip this hotel on all my future trips. And the smoke alarm is missing which I’m pretty sure is some kind of violation.
I’ve stayed in some not so night hotels all over America but dang! The cleanliness in my room was so bad, I swear a bum slept in it the night before….my boyfriend and I ended up spending the price of the room in Lysol and our own pillows…there was blood stains with food stains everywhere and it seems the carpet had a whole civilization of god knows what living in it… I’m not one to complain much but a little bleach and fresh sheets would go a long way.
Dont stay here, they dont care.So you dont even clean a dirty room before the customer stays, you dont clean room when the customers stays. Beds not made, bathrooms not clean, bugs on floor & walls. Even the customer has an emergency has to leave 1 day early but they take a week to bill you the total amount, scam you more money. The customer service lady said she tell her supervisor but no contact back.
No Masks! None of the cleaning staff wore masks when servicing the room. I had bugs in the bathroom. The bed was comfy and there was adequate parking. I had a problem at check-out with billing where the hotel did not honor the room rate offered at check-in. I do not recommend using the online reservations website due to high extra fees. Front desk hotel manager was extremely rude when trying to resolve my billing issue.
My husband and I were passing through late and needed to sleep for a few hours. When we got into our room it had a terrible odor, holes in the walls, stains and cigarette burns in the sheets and German roaches through out. Didn’t even unload all of our stuff before we checked out. Never in my life have I had such a disgusting experience with a hotel in my life.
I was pleased with my stay at the hotel. The staff that i came in contact with was very, courteous, informative, and professional. I was pleased that there was a bar off of the lobby and was able to enjoy myself and not have to drive. I wasnt completely satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. I feel that housekeeping can pay a little more attention to details and trash behind/on sides of the furniture thru out the room. I have my own routine when staying in any hotel room, so i was ok.
Don’t stay here- Dirty DirtyStained sheets dirty floor turn your fleet feet black the chair was so stained it was disgusting no breakfast just a ditty bag and they would only give one bag even though there was two of us in the roomAnd mischievous doings at night by RESIDENTS living there
Had to stay for two nights. Kinda seemed like a war zone. Instead of the smell of burning gun powder it had the smell of burning marijuana 24/7. The room was hot and disgusting. The remote to the tv didnt work. The blinds where broken. My lock didnt work half the time.Great place to stay if your looking to get murdered.
This place is ridiculous! The manager Celeste is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered! I stayed there for 2 months pay $70 a night. She charged my card $300 for a $100 t.v. that I reported wasnt working. She does not check the rooms after every checkout and had no idea how long the t.v was broken. She called the cops on us 3 different times because she thought the debit card we were using ( the same one she had no problem charging $300 for the t.v) wasntbours. The cops verified that my husband was indeed the card owner. Then she put us out on the streets in the heat because we had spoken to owner about the dirty stuff she was doing at hotel. This was all after she tried to get me to sleep with a male employee for $200. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!
I understand being short staffed, but during a pandemic the sanitation should be wayyyy more than it is. We just checked into a room with a dirty crusty sock and a wash rag in the bathroom on the floor - ifykyk 🤢😷Thank you to the front desk woman who relocated us to a different room.
The front desk where fantastic very nice, and welcoming, room/bathroom was fairly nice and clean but, the cleaning staff kept coming in our room unannounced they dont even say room service they knock and come in, we even yelled NO THANK YOU, they still open the door.. so I put the door handle thing on..and on the last day for check out we where rushed! He came in 3 times, even while we where naked and he stared inside, it made me so uncomfortable, breakfast isnt good..I wouldnt recommend like a week vacation but like a quick night..
Edit: this got a lot worse in a year. Just don’t stay here!I use choice hotels 4 to 5 nights per week. I can’t say my stay was bad although this hotel does need some help. On the plus side... comfortable king bed, good breakfast, both of the staff members were helpful and kind the grounds have a lot of potential. The cons... there seemed to be a few ex cons living there, a little elbow grease would make the place sparkle , you can’t help who is staying at the hotel but screaming and yelling in the courtyard in the middle of the night isn’t helpful.
Nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in 🤢 my husband’s work put their employees here and I came to stay one night thank goodness it’s only one night. I don’t want to even touch anything. Blood on the comforter dirty pealing walls Molded curtains and air conditioner. His job should be ashamed.
I stayed 1 night but noticed on my credit card statement that I was charged for 2. I did not go to the desk to checkout and simply left after my 1 night stay. When I saw the second night charge I called the hotel and they refused to correct the double charge. This is a pitiful property with low occupancy and the only reason I stayed there was the other hotels were sold out. It is clear they cannot make it on people actually staying there so they double charge. The lady I talked to on the phone was very rude. Would not recommend
Love it!!!! Many say theres no place like home of course I beg to differ. After staying at Quality Inn Waycross Ga. Im sure one would be convinced that the statement is just a clechae from individuals who have not had an encounter. The things that accomadate you on the road if I forget something, am exhausted and just want to get a hot shower and lay down are just two of the perks Ive experienced. Yes there is many more including a hot delicious breakfast free in their dining room which carries you to lunch. Lunch can be purchased and is delightfully good. If I run out of towels after getting in the pool and having to do hair just one call they are waiting in my room after my swim. My room location is always perfect to the pool and dining hall. The location of the hotel is awesome to accomadate a shopping experience. I love the view and visibility of the Seiko pines, crape turtles, landscape is impeccable. The room service done and returning to my room the fresh smell that gives the sense of home.
When I arrived all I could hear is the music blasting at ridiculous levels from the night club just off the lobby. I waited for at least 5 minutes for the clerk to get off her phone and acknowledge me. She was rude and a smart aleck. I asked if we could change our room to smoking because I did in fact make an error in booking it and she told me no it couldnt be changed because YOU booked it that way. I know this is not accurate the rooms are paid at time of arrival and if there is a different type of room available you can change the type (I have done this before) I was not rude about it nor did I complain but she was ... snarky which I didnt appreciate after having to wait so long for her to notice I was there... I had to yell to the back hello which I did once I noticed her just sitting just out of view unless you leaned over the counter playing on her phone. The room was ok not super but for the price I can deal with it. The night club patrons were loud and made me feel somewhat unsure of my safety. We were only there for about 8 hours total maybe less so my main impressions were the clerk and the club. I was too tired to notice much more and we got up and left early to get to the job we came there to do. I would not stay here again unless there were no other alternatives. Especially not for a business trip.
STAY AWAY! One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. I’m only giving an extra star because the lady at the front desk last night was so nice and helpful. There were no identifying signs on the building to tell it was a Quality Inn and nothing to help indicate the front entrance. I had to circle the building to figure out where I was supposed to enter, and I was still uncertain until I got inside. The room was not cleaned well at all. Poop stains on the toilet that easily came off when wiped with tissues, stains on the light switches that easily wiped off, and many other issues including wet carpet directly outside the room. There were a couple bugs in the bathtub too. I felt extremely dirty touching anything. The mirror and other things look like they weren’t finished properly and added to the gross feel of the hotel. They also have a bar on the inside that added a sketchy feel to the hotel with the look of it and the characters hanging around. As if there weren’t already enough sketchy people actually staying at the hotel. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE STAYING HERE.
It is a decent hotel at a decent price. I wouldnt plan a vacation around this place. Bed is good. Shower is good. The AC was noisy - fixed with head phones. The housekeepers have gone nose blind because this room smelled like dirty clothes. Fixed with a 0.98 air freshener from walmart - not worth telling them about. Did not see any bugs but it could use a good scrubbing. Internet was good. TV was good. Parked right in front of the room. Did not have the free breakfast but did grab a cup of coffee when I turned in the key.
The only great thing about this hotel is the breakfast! The room was clean but had a really bad order coming from the bathroom tub and toilet. The light on the left side of the room didnt work at all. The check in and out was great! Great customer service all around! We had to check out before time due to the bad odor coming from the bathroom, I almost vomited.
This is the worse place I have ever seen in my life! The room was nasty had to send my husband to the store to buy cleaning supplies before I would even left our family touch anything. Woke up in the morning and was supposed to have free continental breakfast but was told by the most unfriendly customer service worker ever that He gone I assume she was speaking about the person that is responsible for serving the food. I asked for contact information for the owner and she didnt know anything she said. Just horrible horrible horrible!I will never ever stay there again. Pay more money and go to Holiday Inn.
Poorly cleaned/maintained room, disgusting breakfast buffet, RUDE housekeeping attendant woke us up early and told us we needed to checkout when the front desk told is we had until 11 am, then days after leaving they charged my account for an additional room and longer stay that was not authorized. Have made SEVERAL attempts at rectifying the problem just to be given the run around.I will not be staying in another Quality Inn ever again, and recommend to avoid this location if you want a pleasant stay without being robbed.
Pros.. Staff gave me a late check out free of charge, very friendly staff, nice property, best value for money in area at time of my stay, room supplies everything you need, bed, linen and pillows are clean and comfortable. Location is perfect, close to everything, free parking and breakfast included.Cons.. Front desk staff at check in was very friendly but needed more customer service training. Lacked knowledge of property and services. Room floors were vacuumed but filthy, needs deep cleaning or replacement. Freezer needed to be thawed and bathtub drained slowly.Overall.. I would stay again
I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past but had been staying at an IHG property for the past few years. The IHG hotel was full the day of my travel and I called the Quality Inn and spoke to Celeste. She was able to book me a room and I have to say the service was impeccable. The whole check in process was friendly and efficient. The room had been renovated and even had hardwood flooring installed. I was pleasantly surprised at the changes. That being said the hotel has old bones but the new renovations make it much better. I only wish they had a hot tub on property, however they do have a pool. The Breakfast is always good, fresh, & plentiful. If the hotel stays on track with renovations and keeps bringing in great staff like Celeste they will have a bright future.
The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was very comfortable, but the decor is tired and dated. The hot breakfast buffet was basic but covered the usual breakfast items. Because there were few guests, they should put out smaller quantities of food and refresh more frequently. One puzzling thing was that there was no syrup for French toast or pancakes. The attendant said that they had been out for two days - - yet there was a Kroger supermarket across the street! This is a sign of the customer focus of the hotel. The staff was not very friendly, there was a long wait at the reception desk for someone to appear, and along one section of the sidewalk the ground was nearly covered with cigarette butts. There was no receptacle for them. Again, a lack of focus on things that impact the visitor experience.
I really appreciated the warm welcome, good food and wonderful staff during the hurricane evacuation from the coast. My kitties and I were safe, dry and comfortable. I particularly noticed that the desk staff held up amazingly well under the onslaught and managed to be pleasant even with cranky people. The dining room servers were unfailingly prompt, helpful and just plain nice. The breakfasts were good and the Sunday buffet very nice.Thank you very much.
Im giving 3 stars because I never actually stayed here. Several years back we drove in across country. We stopped here to stay but decided to continue driving 3 hours to our destination because of the blasting music at 11pm. It sounded like a rave or some type of party going on. The whole place just gave off bad vibes. I dont understand why the owners think that blaring music would attract customers...and if it does....Im not sure what type of customers theyre trying to attract.
After reading other reviews I was a little skeptic to stay. My stay was very pleasant and quiet. The room was in great condition, the bed was super soft, as well as the pillows being very comfortable. The water pressure in the showers was good for my liking and the water gets hot just the way I like it. Great hotel most definitely will stay there again.
First, it took forever to get checked in. Only one person there working, or at least offered to help anyone. Then once we finally got checked in. We went to our room which was DISGUSTING! The pillow cases were stained, there were LAYERS of dust everywhere, and the lamp shades were also stained and dusty. I didn’t feel comfortable with my family sleeping there. So we left 15 minutes later. Then the one girl working there said I would have to come back TOMORROW between 7am-1pm to get a refund from the manager. So then we came back the next morning (Saturday), and were informed the manager only worked Monday-Friday. So my husband decided to call corporate.
Stayed for business purposes. Price was very resonable. Beds were comfortable. Cleanliness of room was highly questionable. Not going into detail, but it needs to be addressed. Front desk employees were great. I am a choice member. I doubt I would stay at this facility again due to cleanliness issues.
The bed is excellent. The sleeping and bath area were clean except for remarks stated below. This is an old motel and has deteriorated very much in the past year. The exterior and interior are showing wear. It seems there is no maintenance program. Our A/C made so much noise it cause a night of off and on sleep. It was corrected the next day. Our room had visible mold on shower/tub wall and the sink did not drain properly. Staff was notified 3 times but issue was not corrected. There was a floor lamp that was broken and without a bulb, which finally was installed the third day. The low wattage of the lamp bulbs do not provide sufficient light for reading.
I loved the room but they some thieves I paid for another night in cash they took my money and charged my card and now they saying its nothing they can do and that was my last bit of money to feed my 3 kids and the manager had a bad attitude when I spoke to her about it
Worst experience Ive ever had. Stayed in the hotel for 12 hours and got charged twice. Will never use Quality inn and Suites again. Poorly business, night receptionist sat on the couch on her phone most of us checking in and going to our room. Day receptionist was in the breakfast area and I had to wait 10 mins to checkout. Called to fix the charge error and was met with nothing but rudeness as the receptionist told me to call back at another time. Room itself was dirty and unkempt. Staff are unprofessional and all around horrid. I will never use this establishment again or any other location again.
If I could rate this hotel a zero I would. We checked in last night due being affected by the hurricane. We had to kill big roaches all night and the bath towels looked like someone had just used them and put them back. Im happy I always bring bath towels with me when traveling. The standard double size bed is a twin bed me and my husband had to sleep in separate beds. Do not stay here not even for one night.
First room was covered with some kind of black mold you could remove with your foot.. it was super gross. Second room I killed at least 10 to 15 roaches each day I was there. And they started some kind of construction work on each room on both sides of me and the owner didnt even have the courtesy to let me know it was extremely load hammer drilling on the walls. Lady at the front desk was nice ..
I get to the room and hear a dripping sound to find the tub almost overflowing with water. Also the bathroom light only worked half the time. Luckily I only had to stay one night. However the check-in/check out service crew were nice. The bed was not bad either. The TV channels HD version were of a much poorer quality than the standard counterpart.
The 2 ladies at the front desk were nice and friendly ( which is the only reason they got the star)but this place needs a lot of work and needs to be cleaned properly. Upon check in we ended up having to go 4 times to the office before our room keys would work. Then once we got into the room the floor wasnt swept and we found the stuff on the bed sheets, used towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door, etc. So, before settling in we had to wait for the room to be redone. This is the 1st time we didnt use the microwave or the fridge. I must say that we were very disappointed. These hotels must be held to a stricter standard or something. Some stuff should not be allowed to go on. Will not be staying here if we ever come back this way. 👎
We stayed in a suite in the building with one level. The two rooms were dismal in appearance overall. Several large pieces of furniture were torn and dirty. The carpet was old and unclean, and the whole place needed a thorough dusting. Fortunately, at least the bed was comfortable for one night. This hotel needs a complete update, and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone until the work gets done.
The room and bathroom were very clean, but the decor is tired and dated. WiFi was too weak to be usable.
The room was nice but not nice. The floors were dirty, the fridge kept making a terrible sound, and what looked to be like mold was in the corners on the walls. The breakfast also made me and my husband sick. But the staff was nice, and the bed was soft. Thats about as much as I could say...you get what you pay for here.
Booked 10-6,7 and 8th through choice hotels. Since Tybee Island was still restricted, the manager said we could stay as long as we needed....even though the motel was fully booked. The buffet breakfast was the best ever for that level of motel/hotel. And FREE every morning. large chunks of baked ham, whole sausage links, regular and cheese grits, scrambled eggs, assorted fruits, pancakes, etc. They kept it coming even though the motel was packed. They even have a pay-for buffet at lunch. OK the room was what you would expect from a motel built when it was. But our room had obviously been renovated...clean, good sheets, painted, no stains or bugs, many TV channels good A/C, black-out curtains, comfortable beds, quick hot water and adjustable shower head. We are 68 and 58 but have traveled alot...never pickey with overnights but get the nice ones when we get there. wish the Quality Inn had benn there in our travels.
I have truly never in my lifetime stayed in a hotel that was so dated and unclean. I had a 1 night reservation this past weekend and was horrified at some of the things I saw. First, when we arrived at the hotel we ended up waiting 20 mins before anyone came to check us in. Got in the room and it smelled aweful. The mini fridge didnt work and was leaking water everywhere, there was MOLD inside the bathroom vent, the water from the faucet trickled out and last but certainly not least, the grass was knee high. The breakfast smelled great but was cold. I added whipped margarine to my grits and it didnt melt. There is no way I would recommend this place to anyone. My dog kennel is cleaner than this place. Although I must say the lady that checked us in was very nice and courteous. The best part of this stay was CHECKING OUT!
This hotel is an older property but has been kept up well and renovated often. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have a perfect stay every time. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is the best in town and included in your room cost. I have stayed in most hotels in Waycross and you will not find a more comfortable room or friendlier staff.
This was my second time staying at the quality inn in Waycross(wasnt able to review my first stay). Just like my first time my experience was amazing. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming, as well as informative. My room was clean and spacious. I really enjoyed the king size bed and the tile flooring. I decided on my first stay that the Waycross quality inn will be my go to motel, and I still feel the same way. I will be staying again in April.
I give this hotel a 2 out of 10. The room was filthy. Come on--it does not cost more money to clean the rooms than not to clean the rooms. Management should be checking on the job done by the housekeeping staff. Floor had not been vacuumed in months. Walls, ceiling, drapes, doors were all filthy. Look behind the door--if there is mildew and cobwebs, clean them. It only takes a minute. This hotel should not carry the Choice Hotels brand. It is a disgrace. I stayed here in order to take advantage of the summer promotion offered by Choice. I should have paid a little more and chosen a different property. I am tired of being disappointed by national brand hotels. If you put your name on it, your reputation is at stake. Open your eyes!
Had to give 1 star to post the review! Worse hotel stay Ive had! The first room we were given was dirty! Desk assigned us another and it was stinky! I bought Febreeze and sprayed everything and was some better. About midnight we were rudely awakened by police car lights flashing and police dog barking. Lots of yelling! After a long period of time, a tow truck arrived and loaded an automobile from the parking lot. Our sleep was destroyed by all the noise and lights. Then, when I checked out this morning, I had been overcharged! Finally got a corrected bill but I will be watching my credit card.
Front desk staff is not too friendly. They were sold out only ONE night and could not replace towels or coffee packets in the rooms. We had to exchange our towels at the desk and went back a little after the time they wer to have fresh ones available and were told they gave them to all the old people. The lobby smells. Bathroom shower grout was moldy. Hallways outside room need maintenance. AC did not work very well.Nice TV though and bed was comfortable so if you are in a pinch, like we were, you will survive.
A good Quality Inn and suites for sure. The front desk staff was super when . I was provided a great room for a wonderful sleep. The complimentary breakfast was the best! All the items were fresh, well prepared , the fresh biscuits and gravy Ive had in a link time. A little dated, but being renuvated now.
During this time of COVID virus that is plaguing us one would think that this hotel would be more caring about the way they present and maintain the cleanliness of their rooms. When I checked in I paid cash and entered a room where there was a soda bursed in the freezer, no towels in the room, which I was told there werent any, a twin mattress on a queen size pull out couch, holes in the wall, no tissue which my boys were told there wasnt any, no refund from checking in and overall very unpleasant stay.. I will post all the pictures.
This hotel had good reviews on the website. I was disappointed. The room was comfortable however, the rug had heavily soiled areas on it. The walls in the bathroom had spots of something on the walls that were not cleane off. The dining room where the buffet breakfast was served was not clean at all. Mildew on door frames, dirt around door handles, food splashed on walls that was never cleaned off. The pots our coffee came in were filthy. The servers sat at a table and neither one could stand up to greet customers. When we sat down they acted like it was all they could do to get up and take our drink orders. When leaving we had to search for someone to take our complimentary meal tickets.
The food was hot and seasoned well. The customer service was decent. It is better to get there at least 2 hours before lunch hours are over to truly get the hot and out of the oven taste! However, I will definitely continue to go back for a good buffet style... country spread experience.
The customer service was poor. The clerk named Willy, was extremely nosy asking personal questions. Initially I thought he was just making conversation but I soon realized he was only being sarcastic and a pessimist when he tried to tell me I was lying to him in regards to the answers to his many questions. Also, before we even got to the hotel, Willy, ensured me that my room was waiting on me and hung up abruptly. Once I arrived which was 30 minutes prior to calling, he said the room was unavailable and that I’d have to re-book the room. He was so busy asking me questions, I couldn’t even focus on getting another room I had to step out and do it online. The next morning I spoke to the manger, she was not as rude as Willy, but she was a little nonchalant. The bathroom shower head was old, dingy, and dirty. Also, the cleaners were impolite and totally invaded our privacy. This was a mess.
The only reason I’m given this place a two is because of fast check in service, other than that the room was not up to “quality” standards as they hope to aim for. The tub was not clean. Dead bugs on the floor. Fire alarm was down and sitting underneath the tv. Walls were dirty. I understand you get what you pay for but can I at least get a decent room. Tbh I believe I paid too much.
The hotel is getting old and showing its age but overall everything was nice. The breakfast bar was exceptional, all you could eat. The access to rooms is from the outside but I prefer this anyway. The hotel clerks were very helpful and friendly, you tend to overlook somethings when you have a smile. I would stay there again with no problem.
I stayed in room 256 the floors were updated and the bed looked clean. I usually don’t get under the covers at no hotels. Early Sunday morning I was a little chilly, so while I was asleep I got under the covers for about 3 hours. When I got up at 7:30 something had eaten all over my legs and arms. My first thought was bedbugs or fleas. Alter researching the web and looking at pictures, I sincerely think they are bedbug bites
The hotel staff was very friendly. I am sure they are working with what they have. However, the shower was disgusting. It had mold in it and the shower head was dirty. There was a shower mat that was old and dirty. I had to wear flip flops to take a shower. The carpet needs to be cleaned as well. The Wi-Fi is terrible. I work online and could never get any of my devices to stay connected.
If all you are looking for is a comfortable bed and you dont care how old the hotel and the fixtures are, then you should stay at this hotel. The hotel should have been updated and remodeled a very long time ago. We had a no smoking room and that was the first thing we noticed when we walked in, a strong smoky smell. The bathroom fixtures are from the 70s (at least) . The breakfast bar, which is free, (they give you a coupon when you check in) was plentiful, if you like cold food. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls in the restaurant and stuck back on with push pins. Its okay for construction workers and truck drivers but not for the average person looking for a nice clean room.
We had previously stayed at this hotel in a room in front of the pool, it was pretty decent for the price. this time around we tried several rooms in where curtain stains seemed to have been there for a while and maybe its the carpets that make the smell of an old hotel bad.My friends that i recommended this hotel to had brought back food with them to eat for that evening and roaches had gotten into their food. The breakfast is awesome, good selection.
The only reason I stayed here was for my job. The hotel and surrounding area looked abandoned, even though we didnt have any issues during our stay. They do have a bar inside the hotel. I didnt drink anything because the bartender seemed strung out like she was on drugs. There were a few signs that said no illegal drugs/substances in the bar which made me believe the opposite.
Needed a pet friendly hotel last second, and couldnt be happier. The price was definitely great, and Id have thought the standard would be lower because of how affordable it was, but Im glad I was wrong. We booked a suite for less than a room at most places weve stayed in the past. It was clean, spacious, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. You dont expect a pet friendly place to show little to no signs of the pets that get paraded through, but this place was definitely pleasing. They were friendly and helpful, and Id definitely make reservations if I needed a place in the area another time.
We chose this location because my wifes family has stayed here for years and had many fond memories during this yearly family reunion. Check in was good but one of the keys didnt work, so I was locked out. Took the grand kids to the pool which was pretty full. My wife noticed the majority of the people get into 2 vehicles and leave. They didnt appear to be guest of the motel. The pool are was also over grown with weeds and in need of some upkeep. We turned the lights on after returning from dinner and roaches scattered. I did get a discount at checkout for the roach incident. The front staff was understanding and did what the could to assist. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean, just needs to be treated for bugs.Anthony
Arrived on 10/7/17 and the only clean place on the property was the lobby and the restaurant. The exterior walkways are carpeted.....why? The walkway carpets were wet from AC runoff and just nasty. When I got to my room the carpet is aged, one of the lamps over the desk had cracked shade, and when I took a shower there was a mat in the shower. Once I began to shower I noticed what appeared to be paper coming from underneath the mat. When I pulled the mat back there was mildew and what looked like to be toilet paper...absolutely disgusting. The room carpet was aged and I actually did not dare walk barefoot on the floorThe only thing that was decent was the breakfast bar and the food.I do not recommend anyone staying at this hotel as it was the nastiest hotel I have ever experienced in my life.
One room smelled bad, The other room had a roof leak! Was told over phone and on Website that they had a crib or play pen,Showed up at 10pm to be told nope they dont! Thats always nice when traveling with a 1year old. People were at the pool drinking after midnight and very loud. Breakfast was something else, We were told we had to pay for some stuff so not every thing was part of the free breakfast. Anyone off the street can eat the breakfast for a small fee. Lets just say we didnt eat anything. I would not recommend this hotel! The lady at front desk in the Am Doesnt like her job ,I think.
The rooms are decent enough, and the staff is hit or miss. At check-in I was greeted by a wonderful young woman who went out of her way to treat me as a valued customer. Later in the evening, when a problem was discovered, a different individual was working the front desk who would ignore phone calls and required two different trips to the front desk to obtain a missing item from the room. Also the internet service at this hotel is slow and frequently drops out.
Shower drain did not work. Smoke free room smelled like smoke. No rug to catch the dirt upon entry of the room which was floored with laminate wood. No broom in room either. Forgot my personal pillows, called hotel to have them sent to me. Lady on the phone said she would have them shipped fed ex and call me if there were any costs associated (which I was willing to pay) . Never received a call or my pillows. My cousin was staying in a separate room in this hotel and his yeti cooler was stolen out of his ATV. Hotel staff said they reviewed the cameras but it was too dark to see anything. Another cousin, also staying in a separate room at this hotel, had to request a different room because the first room they reserved had mold in it.
2 ladies at front desk were wonderful, came by for a drink and the bar tender was scheduled in at 5pm it was almost 6pm and she wasnt there. We came back after... words cannot explain.People rolling up blunts smoking weed inside, smoking cigarettes. The bar tender was there hanging out with her friends. Terrible
Older Hotel But with very good service. Staff rep actually came to room after arrival to check if everything was to our satisfaction. Excellent location to nearby shopping & fast food. Requested 2 rooms to be as close as possible (traveling with Grandkids). Receceived adjoining rooms which was a blessing.Although not a newerBreakfast is freshly cooked eggs, bacon, etc. which is open until 10 am unlike most that close at 9 am..
Have stayed here in the past, appears to have declined in overall maintenance and cleaning. Bed and bedding have improved since last stay, but not enough to bring us back here again. It was quiet and comfortable and rate is low, but probably could do better elsewhere for the price.
Rooms were gross both me and a coworker had to ask for different sheets for our beds. My carpet was full of stains, the trash wasnt replaced before I checked in and the last guests room keys were still on the dresser. The wi-fi didnt work in my room during my entire stay. When I went to work for the day I had to ask for a do not disturb sign from the front desk because there wasnt one in the room. While I was gone someone still went into my room although the sign was out. I know that someone was in there because they changed the channel on my tv and also my laptop charge cord went missing that day as well. I talked to the front desk upon checkout and havent heard anything about it still.
My husband and I had to evacuate due to Hurricane Matthew. While we were thankful to have a place to ride out the storm, we will count ourselves lucky to never have to stay there again.Absolutely filthy. After wearing a brand new pair of socks for one day, they were completely blackened from the filthy carpet. All surfaces were either sticky or dusty. I cleaned the room, gathered towels and garbage, left a list of consumables that needed replacing - they were not replaced adn the towles were dirty. The ceilings are literally falling down, outside light could be seen all around the door frame, allowing for rain water and outside smoke to come in. I can go on, but you all get the picture.Funny story: the TV channel guide in the room was wrong. Called front desk to ask what channel the Weather Chanel is, their answer: dont know, start at channel 3 and go up. That was the best interaction we had with hotel staff. Lots of opportunities for improvements.
Less than a zero. How this place passed their heath inspection is impossible to understand.Check in date 6/14/19I1) blood spots on Wall and carpet2) dirty sheets3) hair in bath tub and sink4) molded food in fridgen 5) big bugs in floor) 6) chipped paint on walls7) spiders crawling all pictures shown to desk clerk insignificant concern or response.I wouldnt never open a suitcase in this roach trap or breathe the mold in the bath room this is not a quality choice hotel representation and will be reported to proper sources today. Also to the are health department .own wall room
Very inexpensive motel. Room was clean and the motel felt very safe. The clerk who checked us in was friendly and helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to recommend a good local place to eat. This motel is frequented by workers in the area and had a very homey atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was restaurant quality. The morning shift and the restaurant staff were also pleasant. All in all a very good experience.
Been staying here about 5 years average 12 times a year. this hotel is old but rooms are clean beds have always been clean an sleep good. they have a free full breakfast from fruits to cereal to eggs, bacon , grits an sausage. Yes Im simple, but in my business this is a good stay.Good stay
This hotel is convieniently located with easy access from any direction. The breakfast buffet was nice. So nice to have more than the typical breakfast options available. Sadly the pool was mostly drained when we were there so we couldnt try it out. But overall, it is a nice, older hotel that only barely shows wear from its age.
Lobby had horrible smell and the gentleman that was extremely slow and seemed to not care. Going to the room the carpet was soaking wet and smelled like mold. cigarette butts and ashes everywhere. the mini fridge is falling through the plywood of the cabinet, toilet didn’t flush, towel rack was falling out of the wall. we did swim for 5 minutes but we couldn’t get any towels from the front desk. No access to towels. The next morning we went to have breakfast and the ladies whom were cleaning up asked what time is was. The other said 9:50 and she quoted “tomorrow we need to close the doors at 9:50” very audible for ya and the guests on front of us to hear. The younger lady stated we needed to sign the paper and leave it on the desk for her to get. I stated that I only had one and what could I possibly do to get another one. The older lady stated “we don’t have no control over that, just sign the paper and leave, thank you.” at this point, and of course before, I called choice hotels,They called the front desk to ask if I could get a refund for all of my nights She stated she called the GM The GM said she could not refund any nights. So I asked if I could atleast get another room I went down to get a key and she said to come back at 2pm, it was 3 and she said that the man has not came with the housekeeping sheet to come back at 4. we get into bed and the sheets smelled like a stale cigarette. Not quite sure if they were even washed.
DO NOT STAY HERE! The whole hotel is in need of repair. The bathroom was disgusting. I felt like I walked into a low rent apartment when I walked in the bathroom. It was in much need of some TLC and updating. Mold, cracked tiles, rusty and dirty lights. I checked out and the girl at the fronts comment was I dont clean the rooms cleaning wouldnt help this bath area. She could care less and showed it. I stay at Choice Hotels all the time when I travel for business. This hotel does not belong in the Choice Hotel system.
The rooms were not in good condition. There was a splatter insect greeting me when I entered the room. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Pool use was limited, all guests with more than two children were kicked out of the pool area during my stay. Including myself, and my 3 children who were guests at the hotel. I will NEVER stay here again, especially after discovering better pricing, cleaner facilities, a pool, and breakfast at the Baymont Inn right around the corner.
This place has gone downhill. Sadly. Except for one staff member, everyone seemed like they hated being there. Upon checkin, my room was missing furniture and had trash from the previous guest. The wifi password would not connect and I used all my data. Then breakfast...definitely gone downhill. Very dry pancakes, watery oatmeal.
This Quality Inn had a breakfast bar that was included in the price that was $4.99 for people that were not staying in the hotel and it was very good. The bathroom in the Accessible king room was the largest bathroom that I have seen in a hotel that was not an expensive luxury hotel but it needs an exhaust fan so the mirror does not fog up. We had to leave the door open so that it did not fog up. We had visited the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge when we had decided to book this room and it was nice and comfortable and the best price we had on this trip. On Sat we returned home to the Atlanta area and had a nice night in this room. This was the best value of any hotel we have stayed in during the last several years.
DO NOT STAY HERE! The lady at the counter was very sweet, but we couldn’t hear her over the music blasting from the bar in the next room. The system was not working well so we were given a key to someone else’s room.😳 If you are looking for a good/safe place to rest for the night, pay a little extra and go next door! #bedbugs 😳😳 DO NOT STAY HERE!
Wish there was a 0 to grade! Booked my room and paid through priceline before arrival. Got to front desk and was asked about my card which I know some hotels hold for damages. Then the lady tells me I got a great deal and charged my card a payment for the room. I told her that I paid online and that it should have showed up with the booking! She then gives me excuses left and right and finally told me that at checkout the charge would be taken off. of course this wasnt the case and I had been charged a second time. I then spoke with a different front desk person who tried to tell me the person last night was on her first day of work. She then called the manager who claimed to have fixed the problem by refunding priceline but not me! So now I will have to challenge the payment through my bank! The staff there are not fully trained and no one knows what to do! I greatly advise anyone to pick any hotel in the area except this one!!!!!
It was a nice stay, staff was very helpful and attentive. The bed was awesome, every time I sat down on it I just about went to sleep. It is close to pretty much everything. If I ever go back to Waycross this will be where I stay. The only real problem was that the shower didnt drain to good, but other than that it was well worth what we paid.
Im the MD for Wild & Peaceful Band which we performed at the Red Christmas Affair held at the Exchange Club of Waycross Saturday night (12/22/18) and stayed here. The room was clean and recently remodeled. The night desk clerk wasnt very helpful at all. I had called around 2am when we arrived back from the event and inquired about a late check out which she informed me that unless you were a rewards member the hotel doesnt do late checkouts. I then looked up and discovered that I was a Choice member since 2013 and I decided to call her back to let her know I was a rewards member and could give her my number to look it up which she then replies that the system is down and shes unable to look that up nor check anyone in the system to the hotel so if that was the case then why initially did she tell me about the choice rewards I guess to get me off the phone and do nothing but then I call her back 2 minutes later and the system is down, hhmmm? I decided to wake up around 8am and called the from desk again and this time I reached Sonya (I believe was her name) whos whole demeanor was COMPLETELY the opposite of the female from the night shift. Sonya went out of her way to explain how the late checkout could be until 12pm and if I wanted to do a late checkout around 2pm it would be an additional cost which was really a reasonable fee. I had 2 rooms I purchased and went with the late checkout of 12pm. That extra hour was EVERYTHING we needed which then we were able to get to the complimentary all you can eat full breakfast bar by 830am and then back to the rooms to get a lil more shuteye before hitting the road back to Atlanta. That kuntry breakfast was the business!!! Special THANKS to Sonya (Sunday morning desk clerk) who went above and beyond the call of duty to provide EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
We stayed at the Quality Inn & Suites in Waycross, GA for 3 nights. All accommodations were very pleasant. This building has been here many years but still is very clean and comfortable. We did not use the food services or the dining room on this trip but on previous trips, all was satisfactory. Would definitely recommend this site to others who are on a modest budget.
Spent Aug 30- Sept 8th here.. Room was decent I didnt like the fact my room had a door that went to the room next to mines. I moved the freezer/ microwave cart in front of it.. Curtain had dead bugs behind it and always had at least one fly at a time in the room.. pillows were small and I dont think my sheets were changed the whole time I was there. towels were daily though. pool looked like it was NEVER used the chairs had mold on the back of them and also faced the dining room (which was one reason i didnt use it). the lady who check me in was friendly.. Had a complimentary breakfast buffet each morning, which had stuff from cereal, oatmeal, grits, pancake, ham, sausage, fruits...
Had a very bad experience here about a month and a half ago at check-in, and walked away the clerk was so rude. Nonetheless, we decided to give this property a 2nd chance. It is evident that they are making improvements, as the workers were everywhere in the lobby and bar. It will be very nice when completed. We were given an upgrade to a suite. It was HUGE! But it was dated, in need of a makeover. My main complaint is the staff doesnt have any knowledge of the Choice Privileges program. As Platinum members, we requested a late check-out, and even noted it in our booking reservation. The front desk clerk woke us up at 1130 and said checkout was at noon. When we left she was very argumentative and said it wasnt her problem. For this reason we wont be back.
Should have read the reviews before booking. Dont trust the pictures, the facility does not look like that any more. The first room I was assigned had just been recently vacated and hadnt been cleaned by housekeeping yet. The second room I was assigned was clean, but most of the light fixtures didnt turn on; one of the lamps was even flat out missing its lightbulb. The gym has a broken AC that has been leaking long enough to fill a 5 gallon bucket, and a wash basin. And is reeks of mildew and body odor. The complimentary breakfast only includes fruit and pastries. The only saving grace is that its located within walking distance to other eateries and theres a gym across the street.
Celeste was rude and unprofessional as a manager. Definitely the poorest customer service skills Ive encountered anywhere. The website said check in time was 2pm and she told me I couldnt check.in til 4pm but when I called corporate on her she changed it to 3pm....either way her attitude was rude and nasty. And the website was false advertisement due to the wrong check in time stated on the website. During my stay I called the front office to ask for 2 extra pillows and the young lady denied my request. 0 stars for the staff.
The check-in process was great. The room had very thin walls so you can hear all the music, cars, and conversations going on ALL night long. The breakfast was ok, but service was horrible. The poor server was understaffed so we didn’t get drinks or refills with the food.
Wont even give this a one star, but thats the only way you can leave a review. called and requested a specific set of rooms, stated that I wanted to do laundry. Drove 2.5 hours to this hotel got the room I wanted, put my gear in room and could not get back in room. Matinance had to come remove the window to retrieve my gear. Then after telling them I needed to do luandry I get to luandry room and both washers are out of order. Screwed up my whole day. Call front desk to be told theres a laundry Matt up the road. Could have told me that before I wasted my time to drive here. Used to be a great hotel but it has gone down hill fast. Last time I will be here. Never again. This place sucks.
Easy access at a major intersection; walking distance to several restaurants, which was a big plus for us, as wed arrived on motorcycles, and so did not have to suit up again in boots and riding gear to go to dinner. Clean room, comfy bed, great WiFi. We arrived a bit early, trying to beat the rain, and staff let us check in as soon as the room was ready.
Came in to check in I had to wait no one was at the front desk I literally had to call the phone for the lady to come to the desk got to my room I noticed hair around the tub hair on the floor the condiment package had been open it was only sugar in it there was a total of 4 guest in my room we only had 1wash clothe which was dingy two towels and when I asked housekeeping for more towels she had a horrible attitude and said she only supply 3towels and wash clothes I asked so even if you have 4 guest that’s what supply she replied yes then told me okay I will bring 4 in a hour horrible service and I do not recommend this hotel
I have stayed at this inn for past 10 years. The beds are very comfortable and the room clean, but shows wear as it is an old inn. The dining room also is showing wear, wallpaper peeling off wall in areas and old paint. The exterior is in need of repair in some areas as well as the side walks. It appears as if no funds are allotted for maintenance.
60s era rebranded Holiday Inn. slightly run down. All food on the breakfast buffet cold and no microwave to warm it up for yourself. No clock in the room, worn stained carpet. But I chose it because it was the most economical choice. Get what you pay for, but can also seem to have overpaid
You can tell this place is under new management. I met her but forgot her name. Keep up the good work young lady! Rooms are being renovated and they are coming along nicely. Breakfast was good. Housekeeping was on point!! Hats off to Quality Inn waycross I will be back!!
Kind of a older hotel. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. Room was a little small. Great full breakfast bar. Very little water pressure in the shower. Wifi signal very weak. It would work, then not work. Very frustrating for someone who uses the internet a lot while traveling.
The only complaint I had about this place was that it took 3 tries to find my parents a smoking room. Ended up finding them a room with 2 single beds. Got tired of running back and forth to find a room. Beds were very comfortable, staff were friendly, and helpful. I would recommend to friends.
There was no hot water when we arrived late at nightlight two young kids and there was no answer at the front desk when we tried to switch rooms. When we finally got a hold of the manager a few days later she told us someone offered to switch out rooms which is just not true. We left at seven am the next morning and the manager said she Seoul’s refund half of our stay and only refunded $11.
Had my worst hotel experience in 53 years at Waycross GA Quality Inn. Room was not fit for human occupancy. Absolutely filthy. I took pictures and showed clerk at checkout when I returned breakfast passes. How could we eat at this place after our room experience? Clerk apologized and that’s it.
If I could give no stars I would! My husband and I went last Friday an it was about 2:00am when my husband went to check us. We walked to our room to see such a nasty floor the smell was unbearable. The bathroom us just pure nasty Im not staying in a room where I am scared whats under my shoes an whats on the walls. So we both went down to talk to the lady. She says she had no way once so ever to get in touch with a manager. All we wanted was a refund the bed or anything for that matter was not touched. We walked in and back out. She said Ill switch you room an then if that dont work Ill get your refund so we agreed. The room was even worst I could throw up there was roaches on the sink an the dresser the smell was horrible! So we walked straight out that one back to her not even gone 5 mins. She then again stated there was no way to contact a manager. Now Im pissed. Im out of the money they wont give I live 4 hours away. I want to be some where clean. So we left an got a room some where else.We finally get in touch with a manager today! Which we was told we stayed there all night. Thats a lie see how much they care about their customers? They dont! The sign on the front desk thats states they will do whats right to make you Happy is a BIG FAT LIE! My husband! The people that work at this one are disrespectful, lairs and unprofessional. You think the owner would give a call. That wont ever happen. I definitely wont stay at any more Quality Inn & Suites because this nasty place ruined it. They need to condemn this place. Should be a hazard walking or sleeping in there.
This hotel was the dirtiest hotel I even have stayed in my life. The rooms were not cleaned properly. Internet doesn’t reach or work in the double rooms. Food was left in fridge from past visits. Refrige didn’t work. Remote for tv didn’t work. Bulbs missing from lights. Ice machine filthy. Smoke detector had smoke marks burnt on wall. Light switch also had Burnt marks out of them. Ac didn’t work well.
Weve stayed here before, this time the suite was terrible!! I dont know how they can even charge more for that room!! The A/Cs barely work, the front of it fell off and it was disgusting! The pull out couch was broke, it looked like blood stains on the curtain, dead roaches in the floor. We will not be back!
Zero stars! I wouldnt recommend this place to be a horse stable or a pig pen. I was scared we were going to bring home bedbugs or get a staff infection. My kids said Ma this place is nasty..well we couldnt get a refund so we were stuck. If this is the only place left to sleep in Waycross Id prefer to sleep in my car with my kids.
When we went to our room, it was dirty. some one left half eaten chicken in the room and the bed you could tell someone sleeped in it. they did change our room but it still was not the cleanest. we will never go back. The Comfort Inn down the block is totally different. the only reason we did not go there was they were book up.
I have used quality inn many times. This was the worst one (Waycross Georgia)I will never use a Quality Inn again. I called Choice hotels to say get them off your list. The room was old ,sticky floor, run down unkept. We stayed one of the two nites planned because we had our little puppy and could not find another dog friendly place in the area. Was a very creepy hotel.Staff was very nice though.
Employees acted as if they were bound by management. It was in my personal experience not as it was in the past. It seemed like it was own by a private owner who didnt have confidence in its abilities to deals with guests.I would probably recommend this particular hotel based improved management.
I was booked for two nights, I was only in town for memorial service, I barely made it through one night and probably checked out the next morning. There was urine around the bottom of the toilet, the bathroom vent was so clogged with dust, and there was a bug I did not recognize under One of my pillows! Do not stay at this hotel!
Terrible. This past week My mother and Grandmother lodged in this hotel. They were with a church group. My Grandmother had several oxygen tanks with her. During their stay in this hotel my Mother noticed some bugs on the bed. Not long after she realized it was BED BUGS! She triedti called down to the lobby but the phone didnt work. The lady attendant told her she would send someone down there. After a wait my mother went to the lobby. The hotel then gave her another room. They didnt assist in the move from one room to the next. My Mother had to carry all of the oxygen tanks herself. The next room, also, had outside bugs in it. There was dead roaches in the refrigerator of the other occupants that traveled with them. My mother is currently suffering from several bug bites. I do not recommend lodging at this hotel.
I enjoy staying here and the convenience of having an excellent breakfast. I have a fast pace schedule and can always count on Celeste to handle my accommodations in an excellent manner. Anything she can do to make the customers stay like home she will go the extra mile.
This hotel is 25% less expensive than the other hotels in Waycross, GA. With that decrease in price comes some compromise. The hotel needs some tender loving care. Repairs need to be made and a through cleaning needs to happen. Lots of little things are broken like towel racks and shower heads. Daily cleaning happens but the rooms have not been deep cleaned in quite some time.
I left hungry and angry. Just hate that: buffet breakfast (nothing special, believe me) with service required (and tip required if you have any class at all), and if you dont have time or dont like to be propped up at a table, on display pre-9-am, youre out of luck. You get nothing at all. Especially if the coffee maker in your room is too dirty to brew anything a sane person would consider drinking. The ice making machines were all too dirty to consider using as well. The place is just too old and decrepit to be in use. It seems like the place is concentrating on restaurant revenue instead of basic maintenance. Staff did not respect dnd sign on door either.
Upon arrival we had to wait an extended amount of time to check in and the staff was not personable at all. I was also not told about the additional hotel fees when I made the reservations. The hotel had outlets in the room that were exposed and only a tiny bar of soap for three people. The room was street side and the hotel is poorly insulated and the noise was terrible. We asked for a no smoking room but smelled smoke coming from other rooms all night long. We will not stay here again.

2022-01-27The room was pretty spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The water pressure was good. Downside is, we found roaches every day. We had a do not disturb sign on the door and every couple of days they would knock on the door after we asked them not too. When we checked in, the girl wasnt friendly and kind of had an attitude. The manager was great though. We didnt know they even had grab and go breakfast until the last couple of days we were there. They didnt say anything about that while checking in which would have been nice to know even though it consisted of a fruit cup, danish, and bottle of water. The wifi would not stay connected and the last couple of days would not work at all. Although, its January and too cold to swim, its obvious theyre pool has not been used in quite a long time. The parking lot is well lit.

2022-03-11First room we got it was disgusting. The beds were made like they didn’t change the sheets. Debris on the counters and tables. Bathroom had a towel laying on the floor. Towel rod was laying on the floor.Second room, snot was strewed against the wall, and towels were placed in front of it hiding the grossness. The floors are disgusting! When walking barefoot you scatter hair and black pieces of debris throughout walking around. Once in the shower expect to wash off this nastiness. Behind the bathroom door it’s like it has never been cleaned. The beds are clean and comfortable.I would not recommend staying here unless you are going to sleep with your shoes on.When we first arrived we were told check in isn’t until noon, the oversized lady at the front desk took my number then placed it in front of the front desk computer then remained in her office until noon as we sat waiting in the lobby from 10:30am on to the time for check in.Sure lack of laziness. The swimming pool is not blue as depicted in the photo. It’s bare concrete. The exterior is gross too!

2022-03-31We checked in and got to our room and immediately turned around to get a refund and then moved on to another hotel in the area. We booked a non smoking room, but the entire room smelled like smoke. There were dark stains all over the bedspread and chair, cobwebs on the ceilings. It was horrendous. You couldn’t pay me all the money in the world to stay there. It felt extremely unsafe being on the first floor as well with the window beside the bed look at the parking lot. The images shown on google are misleading and not the images of the actual hotel so please don’t fall for it like I did. They are professional photos of another hotel! Extremely disappointed. I wish I could give 0 stars.

2022-05-02I regrettably stayed at this hotel for one night. The room was disgusting. Cob webs on the wall, sheets not clean, bath tub not clean, the chair in the room was horrendous, bugs flying around. I tried to book at the baymont across the street but was unable to do so. The pictures online are completely deceptive do not stay here!!! The entire hotel needs to be renovated immediately. Will be contacting corporate no one should be able to charge for those rooms!!!!

2022-06-19We rented two rooms for two nights, both were horrible. Our tv remote didn’t work, table lamp blinked constantly, the bath tub had NO water pressure. Due to no water pressure while running water the shower was completely unusable. The fridge was not cold whatsoever. The other rooms ac quit working in the middle of the night and just would never come back on. Went to get clean towels and was informed “housekeeping is closed, if you need clean towels I suggest requesting early in the morning “ the hotel suggests a pool which the pool was cloudy and the worked told us it is never open, unusable like the rest of the hotel. This hotel is a disgusting joke and should be considered a disgrace by the “choice hotel” brand. Drug addicts and distributors are the only ones keeping this hotel in business I can assure you.

2022-03-19Extremely over-priced for an unclean room. After calling the front desk, they changed me rooms for finding hair on my sheets. The new room was cleaner, but still wasnt clean. Finding hair in the nasty shower, like it hadnt been cleaned in weeks. The sheets were nasty, with what looked like cheeto fingers all over it. They didnt give me a refund, after 15 mins i guess that isnt allowed. The desk ladies were rude. If I could give 0 stars I would. Its ridiculous how disgusting these people are. After about 20 low starred reviews about housekeeping, youd figure theyd get shut down, or at least a new keeper. We are in the middle of a pandemic. The last thing I need to be worried about is hair in my bed.

2022-06-21Positive: Nothing!! the desk , is the worst person I have ever run into in all 67years I have been alive. I can¿t even begin to verbalize what an awful person she is! I will never go there again, and I will be doing a review online. Negative: I didn¿t see the hotel. I had just driven 1,000 miles, and when I tried to check in, she said she couldn¿t check me in because the computer wasn¿t working. I asked if she could put me in a room and call me when the computer was working. She told

2022-05-15Bed bugs and roaches in room 131. I cant speak for the rest of the hotel. They switched my room for me since there was no vacancy in any other hotel in the area. The next day I walked back by that room. They just made the bed and got it ready for the next paying victim. No sign of them getting an exterminator out there. If you stay here, make sure you check EVERYTHING you took into the hotel when you get back home. You dont want to move critters into your house. The staff was nice enough but thats the only good quality about this inn. Avoid this hotel.Attached is a photo of a bed bug if youve never seen one.

2022-02-15Second visit, 10 months later. You think the experience would be somewhat better? Throw those hopes of this being an even remotely good hotel straight out of the window. Steer. Clear. In my previous review of this place I explained the general wear and lack of maintenance in this place, and a significant safety violation as the fire alarm system seemed to be literally nonfunctional. I say because as a person into the fire alarm field I have seen at least one of the pull stations in the activated position for this particular model, how long it was activated at that point only god knows, but clearly this place is violating something serious. Adding onto the lack of safety, there have been high people walking around one getting far too close to my face, random people knocking on your door, yeah.My two biggest complaints this visit were the nonfunctioning keys, and the room service. We literally requested room service to the front desk and when we came back to our room with no changes? Straight out of their mouths was that they were just two homeless dudes eating Wendys, I kid you not. The room wasnt even clean to begin with as I saw lots of residue of some sort of drink littered all over the room. When we werent upset about that it was because we were constantly going back up to the front desk because about 4 times did our keys just decide to stop working after about 12 hours.I could make another paragraph explaining how trashy these rooms are but you can just read everybody elses reviews.Whoever somehow has the obliviousness to give this place over two stars are the people who shouldnt be trusted with even your life. If youre an out of towner, CSX employee or railfan forced to stay here, may god help you. Concealed carry permit, and your own linen recommended. Forever will this place and the bad stories I have from it be great ones to tell everytime.
