I booked this motel by mistake thinking it was another one down the road that I had stayed at before. The only room they had left was a jacuzzi suite, but the room smelled like wet dogs and was very humid. The jacuzzi was just a big tub in the room and I didnt see any bubble Jets, but I didnt use it.People were outside cooking in their trucks and hanging out drinking, very seedy and I felt uncomfortable there. They advertise free breakfast, but they dont really have it. The room was worn and well used but not filthy. If it wasnt for the smell it would have been okay.There are much, much better hotels available near this one. I graded it two stars because I have stayed at worse motels in the past, but not for many years.
This hotel is very clean and has a friendly staff. The rooms are large and in pristine condition. The hotel is nicely lit and feels safe. For breakfast, the hotel serves a Grab-and-Go bag which is just fine for my family and I. The close proximity to I-75 makes it the perfect place to stay on the way to Florida. I recommend this hotel and will continue to stay here.
The pool had no water and there was no breakfast when the sign said it had a pool and full breakfast buffet all lies!!!
My grand experience began with Eddie when he took my call to make a reservation. Very personable and professional.Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable and I loved the full and fluffy towels. We enjoyed our brief stay and will stay again when were in the area.
Shower rod is broken in bathroom so curtain u almost have to hold in place. Head boards need a good scrubbing. An a few more but for a cheaper place not to bad to stay front desk guy was really nice though
Not a good experience, will never return. We were trying to make it as far as we could before stopping midway on our 12 hr family road trip. Had three very tired kids in the car. We wanted to stay in Macon, GA but all the hotels were full. We kept on driving and eventually made it to Byron, GA where we happend upon this hotel at 10:21pm. They had availability! The place felt sketchy but we were so, so tired. We only grabbed what we needed to sleep from the car, we trekked up the stairs to our corner room past some odd customers and we hit the hay. It was very nice to have a place to sleep but the place was dirty, dated and smelled like smoke. Plus, not toiletries were stocked in the bathroom (like soap, shampoo), the sink for hand washing had no hot water. We left very early the next morning, hardly spent any time in the room. Didnt shower.A month later we were billed for taking all the towels. Im not sure why... Maybe they were never in the room? We never used them or the shower. Like I said kind of sketchy place. Our family wont be back.
I stay here every time I visit my family in this area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and ready to help if necessary. It is always a pleasure to be greeted by name. Staying at the hotel is like staying with friends.
I would give it four stars out of 10. It was dark and thus kind of gloomy. It wasnt really dirty and yet it didnt feel clean.The staff was curt but efficient. The bed and pillows, however, were very comfortable.
It was a very nice hotel, got the room I wanted on the ground floor where I could keep an eye on the truck.

The hotel is conveniently located near I-75 and other local attractions. We felt very comfortable staying during this pandemic.
I give it a one because, there were people hanging around in parking area around my car,lied about breakfast, not! Added all kinds of taxes to my bill, room wasnt clean bathroom floor was nasty dead bugs was on floor, so that let me know it havent been clean, towels was hard,in all the rooms were not clean.

We wanted a cheap place to spend the night on the way to Disney and this is what we got. The room was clean and comfortable and thats pretty much all we cared about. Area is definitely a little rough. Police car almost always parked at the intersection.
Room was exceptionally clean with all amenities. After checking out and well on my way, I realized a part of my luggage had been left behind. After arrival at my destination, I called and spoke with the manager, Manny. He was very cooperative and agreed to mail the forgotten item the next day. It was delivered as promised.Not only was I satisfied with my stay, but mostly, impressed with the effort and cooperative spirit of the staff, especially, Manny!Thank-you!
The TV didnt work they couldnt fix it and we had no towels ,staff was not friendly

Roaches, Not very clean, unfortunately I have to stay due to Military business I was treated very disrespected. MR EDDIE AT THE FRONT DESK IS THE REASON I STAYED GREAT MAN. I was done talking to corporate. If I was you I would not stay in this place. How they disrespect there customers is out of this world. Dont turn on the a/c the smell is horrible. This company only cares about money. They do not follow CDC guidelines.. However I have to stay here .. No help .. Only Mr. EDDIE.. Rude from supervisor is rude has no problem disrespecting Military personnel. Which is a great sadness.
We stayed in room 125 and it great. We slept great and the beds were comfortable and clean. Sheets were fresh and soft. Bathroom was nice and clean and smelled good. The place looks to be well taking care of. I love being able to park right in front of my room. This was our second time staying here during the year and I must say Nikki is fantastic. She is always so friendly and welcoming. She always greets us with a smile and a good morning.
Clean rooms and great location. The rooms could use a little updating like paint or updated shower. Overall, for the price it was great. I did need to print out a document and the front desk told me the printer was down so that was a hardship for me and my business meeting for the next day.
I hate having to write reviews of a poor experience, especially when the people working at the facility were so kind. However, there were several issues with the room. Dirty bathroom. Broken shower head. Non draining bath. Sheets that smelled like urine. This was not up to usual choicehotel standards.
Loved our stay here. Nice welcome when we checked in, they even called the room after we got settled to make sure we were happy in the room. Nice clean bathrooms and hot showers. It is on the peaceful side if town and good rates. In the mornings we was greeted by Nikki who was a joy to talk with and she cooks up a great breakfast. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone.
We were traveling and needed a room for a night. 5 stars because there was no bed bugs, it was cleaned, check-in was a breeze, there was a fridge and microwave (we have a 10 month old and 7 year old), and it didnt feel like the room was wet/damp. We didnt do breakfast and I forgot to see what they were doing during Covid-19 for it. They also have cribs.
We had a nice stay. Came in town to go to the Perry fair from Atlanta. We are to tired to drive back up and thurday was opening day. So we stayed Wednesday and Thursday night. Both nights were good. The lobby area was clean during check in and check out. Nikki did a good job at keeping the breakfast area clean during breakfast. People would leave their tables a mess and she was right over to clean them up when they left. I do love to have a clean area to eat at and she definitely kept it clean and fresh. Breakfast was good as well with a good amount of things to pick from. The rooms were nice and clean and quite. The outside area was also clean and well maintained.

This hotel didnt disappoint. It was just what was looking for. It was clean, quite, slept great, a few places to eat not far from hotel and breakfast at the hotel was great. Nikki welcomed us early in the morning with a smile and made sure we were happy with our breakfast. Will definitely be making this our place to stay when traveling.
I am a trucker and was driving to Florida and was exhausted so I decided to stop here for the night based on the other wonderful reviews. I was very happy with my stay. The room was clean yet affordable. Ms. Nikki working the breakfast bar was so sweet and helpful. Next time i drive on my route to Florida i will for sure stop here because of the clean rooms & to see Nikki!!
Easy on and off highway- good access to fuel and restaurants. Room was comfortable and decent for an overnight rest from the road. Ample parking.
We was in room 106 and my husband and I had a nice stay. We enjoyed our time at breakfast with Nikki while we shared stories. She was so sweet. We rested well on the comfy beds and had nice clean hot 🔥 showers.
Overall our stay at the Quality Inn in Byron, GA was great. A bit dated and could use some updates also upgrade to 2 ply toiletpaper
The stay I experienced was excellent. I encountered the clerk Mrs. Nikki she was as friendly as she could possibly be and extremely helpful to me and my kids. The cleanliness of the rooms were exceptional and I enjoyed my stay. I will definitely be a returning customer in the future

When I entered the lobby I was greeted by a gentleman with a smile who was pleasant and made me feel welcomed. Encouraged me to let them know if I needed anything at all. When we checked out was treated by a lady in the same manner. Room was exceptionally clean and AC was quiet. Appeared that they were trying to update hotel. Better quality than expected for the money although the bed was somewhat on the older side but acceptable.
I loved the hotel and the area. It was a quite place to stay but was also convenient to lots of places. Nikki was a delight. She was smiling and talking with all the guest and kept us laughing. We will definitely be back because of her kindness.

We were so happy to find lodging that allows pets and as an added bonus with no additional charge! The room was a pet designated room and was very clean with no odors of any kind. We will definitely stay here on our future trips to Florida.

Very quick check in, super nice people, (theyre adhering to Covid safety protocol too) the beds were comfy, and I like that I could pull right up in front of my room instead of being trapped in an enclosed hotel. I stayed at the quality inn in Byron not long ago and they had the best breakfast. The lady that runs the breakfast bar Nikki was super friendly. Also Nikki was the lady who checked us out. Friendly, respectful, and helpful staff along with a nice clean inviting environment really made our stay wonderful. I will defiantly stay here again while traveling. More places need to hire people like Nikki.

Great place to stay and super quiet. There was places to eat close by and stores. We were checked in fast and got a good nights sleep. We had breakfast the next morning and I love how the food was fresh and hot. Nikki welcomed us as soon as we walked in and she made sure to tell us safe travels in our way out.
I stayed here and booking.com gave me a rate of $50 a night and that was for a Wednesday and Thursday night which went fine Friday morning booking.com was showing a vacancy at 64 at night and the quality and website was showing vacancies at $80 a night so I went up to the office to book with my app at $64 for the night and she told me they were full they had no reservations open for the night and I said yes you do its right here on your own website and its right here on my booking website and she said no maam we dont we dont have any vacancies you have to check out and I got the feeling that they were really disgruntled about the rate that I have been given the last two nights so I said fine I went back to my room it was 10:30 still had 30 minutes to check out and to Byron police officers knock on the door and tell me that I have to check out I said yes sir Im aware of this the front desk lies to me and tells me theres no reservations when I clearly see here on my laptop and phone that there are and he said yes maam just supposed to pass along the message for you to check out and I was horrified and humiliated that the little blonde girl at the front desk was wanting to get a higher rate so bad and she actually called the police 30 minutes before checkout time to make sure I checked out and didnt make another reservation I mean I am appalled and I am going all the way to the top of corporate quality Inn about this it was totally uncalled for. I had no problem with staff I made no noise I was alone single female by myself the entire time and they called the police 30 minutes before check out time mind you I have checked out of hotels an hour to 2 hours after checkout time with no problems but have a nice day but when they saw that I was smart enough to check reservations on the computer in my phone they called the police to make sure I checked out freaking unbelievable
I travel quite a bit and finding a hotel that Im comfortable staying in is not always easy especially since I mostly travel alone. I can honesty say I felt completely safe at your hotel. The exterior access to the rooms made getting in and out of the hotel very easy. And the well lit parking lot made me feel very safe. The beds were awesome and the room was very nice. The staff was great and I was very impressed with the quality and selections that were available at the complimentary breakfast bar. I will definitely stay here again.
We stayed in room 107 last night and it was indeed a great stay. We are choice members so we have stayed at alot if choice hotels. This is in our top 5 stays. Breakfast was hot and good. Nikki was very helpful. The pool was nice although I do wish it was outside. The shower was hot and beds were comfortable.
Stayed here for a week because I had a job in this area and I was not disappointed. Im really glad I choose this place and the price was right. They had a washer and dryer so I was able to do my clothes while staying there. They have a great breakfast every morning to start my day. Nikki was always there to greet me with a smile and a good morning as soon as I walked in door and I really liked that. They beat anyone elses prices around. They also had a nice clean pool that was very relaxing after a long day at work. If I end up with work again in that area I will for sure go back.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The carpet had wrinkles in it, the towels were stained, tv remote didnt work, air conditioner wasnt even plugged up when we plugged it up a d turned it on it smelled like mold. The decor was very out dated, just not a good experience at all.
Wasnt planning on stopping on our way to Florida but the kids were tired so we had no choice. Im certainly glad we did. The room was nice and clean, the breakfast was good and the pool was nice. The pool helped the kids get tired before we took off again so the car ride went smoothly. The breakfast filled them up and even after we had a few spills to clean up Nikki never once complained. She told us to keep eating our breakfast while it was hot and that she would clean it. She just that and never once seemed mad about it. You dont find people like that any more and Im happy to say quality inn has a keeper. If you see this Nikki I just want to thank you again for your help this morning.
We stayed here at the quality inn of Byron for a couple weeks while working around this area and we always had a pleasant stay. The staff is very professional and courteous and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel atmosphere seems very secure. We enjoyed the swimming pool and I will definitely come back and stay here again.
This property was clean and inviting on the outside. The price seemed high based on the amenities and the quality of the property. The front desk agent on the overnight shift was very nice and helpful. There was no hot water in the room so with this just being a stopover for the night, we decided not to register a complaint about it. Following our stay, we discovered we were charged twice. After calling the property to find out why, we were told we were being charged for taking all the towels, which we did not do. Manny the manager insisted we took them despite the fact that the housekeeper reported we didnt use any of the toiletries in the shower (because there was no hot water). Im now having to dispute the charges with my credit card company and will report this property managers behavior to Quality Inn corporate. I would not recommend staying at this property.
The hotels and rooms where nice and clean. I enjoyed the indoor pool as well. Nikki at the front desk was very helpful and had a smile on her face the whole time we was there and stood around to talk with us. We will like to come stay again soon. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was due to the cleaning ladies husband none stop watching us. Every time we went out to smoke he was there watching us and drinking beer at the back of his truck. I think something needs to be done about this asap. The next time we stay if he is there and does the same we will call the owner or law. Thanks for the hotel cleaning be great and Nikki being the first smiling face we seen.

I was very pleased with my stay. The staff was excellent and the room was very nice. We ate at a little restaurant called Hudsons Bbq that the front desk clerk recommended that was very good. The next morning we enjoyed a great breakfast before getting back on the road. The morning clerk Candie kept the breakfast bar stocked while running the desk and making sure that all her guests found what they needed on the bar. I would definitely stay here again.
This is a nice and clean hotel. My family and I were here for the Georgia National Fair. The staff was really friendly and we felt welcome from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. The beds in the rooms were comfortable and the WiFi was fast. The breakfast offered many choices. Overall, we will come back and visit here again.
If I could give more the 5 starts I would. This is one of the best well kept hotel to be a older one. They really keep it up to date. The sheets, pillows, covers there all brand new. Its all comfy and fresh. The property is well maintained and the breakfast bar was great. Nikki made sure we was satisfied and wished us well wishes on our trips.

Room was clean. Well furnished. The ceiling had recently been repaired. Based on my sensitivity to mold they didnt get all of it.
We checked out on Friday morning and had a nice stay. We stayed in room 114. The room was nice, the area was nice, it was quite and very affordable. We was treated great and Nikki was great company during breakfast. She kept a check on us during breakfast to make sure we were good.
We had traveled north from south Florida and were bushed. It was nice to be greeted in a friendly manner and given guidance where ot park our car with attached boat trailer. The bed was a welcome sight! The mattress at the house wed rented for a month was HARD. This one was just right! The bedding and towels in the room were top quality.We had a good nights sleep in the quietness of our room.THere were good choices for breakfast the following morning.
So thankful they took us in with no reservations. We were heading to Florida and we just couldnt go any longer. We just needed some where to crash, get a hot shower and breakfast in the a.m. They definitely did all that and with no issues. We did get a good nights sleep. The beds were so comfortable and there was no noise coming from any where. We got us a nice hot shower this morning and then went down to enjoy coffee and a delicious breakfast. Nikki was a joy to talk with this morning and reccomend this hotel to anyone. We will come back and stay each year on our way to Florida.
This was one of the lower priced hotels at our chosen exit and we were pleasantly surprised. We found the room to be clean, quiet, and the queen sized beds to be very comfortable. Exceeding even this pleasantness was the friendly, efficient staff. We would definitely stay here again. Only one caveat: there were no breakfast meats like sausage, bacon, or ham; but, overall the breakfast was sufficient, if a little carb heavy.
Im not sure how this hotel got the positive reviews on this site unless theyre tossing out the negative ones. This hotel is cheap for a reason. The lobby is tiny and the decor outdated. Our room had a door that stuck and had to be forcibly yanked open. Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke and the front desk didnt answer our repeated calls so we didnt request a room change, but I wish we had. There was body hair on the bathroom floor from a previous guest. The room was very, very outdated and the microwave must have been from the 80s. Around the hotel were homeless people milling about. We were concerned our car was going to be broken into because of the surrounding area. I will definitely not stay here nor at any other Quality Inn again. Terrible.

Room was clean. I asked for a room away from the highway but that didn’t happen. It is close to the highway, so it was noisy, but earplugs drowned out the noise. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t very good. Couldn’t eat the eggs, they had texture of a sponge. Would stay again if traveling through.

Clean and tidy, with no odors ( I am a smoker, but I prefer a nonsmoking room, I will go outside to smoke, it keeps my clothing and computer clean)Suprisingly altho close to the highway, when the door is shut you dont get noise, giving you a quiet nights sleep!The mornings breakfast had good many choices, and the coffee was outstanding (always hot and ready in the lobby)The staff is pleasant to deal with, they are knowledgeable of the local areas, and ensured my every need was met. They make you feel at home.I will stay here when I am in town for sure, it beats out all of the hotels in the area! I will also recommend it to my friends and family.
This hotel has obviously been upgraded/updated recently.The pool location looks out upon the highway, but it is enclosed and was very clean. Also just off the lobby so guests should not be bothered by noise.Bedding was excellent - soft sheets, mattress not to hard or soft, bed not so high that my wife couldnt lie down easily (bad hip).There was apparently a lot of guests coming in after we went to bed - didnt hear them. A/C worked well and reasonably quietly.Shower was great (almost too much hot water!) and toilet had been updated (not the very small ones usually found in less expensive, older hotels.)An assortment of local restaurants & chains only a few minutes away and a great small grocery about 2 miles for longer stays. Fridge worked great.
Great staff when you walk in. You are greeted promptly by smiling faces. They are very helpful and accommodating. Got me to my room swiftly. The bed was every comfortable. and the shower was nice. I enjoyed the curved shower rod, definitely provides you more room. Breakfast in the morning was really nice with a friendly staff.
Its a little difficult to find, but a great place to stay. Friendly morning and night staff to greet you if you have questions. I love hotel showers. Best shower you will ever have. Bed was comfortable, sheets clean. Candi and Christen at the front desk were great to interact with. Would recommend for a comfortable stay.
We always stay here when we come through but I always forget to leave a review. My favorite part is breakfast cause Nikki keeps us laughing. I always say how good the coffee is and she says its made with love by her and we all laugh. She is a trip. The hotel is obviously great at all of it because we keep coming back.

I needed a handicap room but forgot to ask for it on the reservation. I was very worried about that but nikki eased my worries and guaranteed me a handicap room over the phone. When I got there sure enough Nikki was able to put me in one. She said she had that room saved just for me. I really appreciate the help from her. We had a nice stay. Breakfast was good, the beds were comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. The property looked nice and well kept up.
The motel is nice thanks to Robert the maintenance is nicely up kept. The breakfast is well maintained and nicely kept up. Nikki Price is the main one that seems to Know what is going on, or what needs to be done. Seems they need more help like Nikki the only one on her feet at all times.
Ive always stayed at a quality inn when Im traveling and I must say this is one of my top 5. We stayed 2 days and checked out friday morning. Everyone was nice and service was great. Very clean place and amazing breakfast. Slept really good and woke up feeling well after a good night of sleep. Will make this a yearly one to come to when coming through Georgia. I appreciated Nikkis help on writing down directions for me because my phone was dying. She was glad to help me and did it with a smile. It means alot to have her go out of way during her busy day to help me.
Checked in on Thursday and our night stay was great. Got up on Friday morning and came down for breakfast. Nikki was amazing and she gave us a nice welcome so early in the morning. Breakfast was good and hot.

Nice to have pool on-site for moderately priced overnight room even if small. Noticed security cameras outside of building. Best part was definately friendly, helpful staff and so nice to have a breakfast bar with hot items included in the morning.
My family and I came to this hotel looking to just get a room for a day while our home a/c unit got fixed. Well the a/c unit ended up taking four days and we had no idea how we would afford to stay more then 2 night. Nikki was able to calm our fears and help get in so we could afford it. We ended up using a coupon for that 2nd night and our AAA card discount for the 3rd night. Thankfully our unit was fixed on that 4th day so we was able to go home but I must say we was treated wonderful here and made to feel like part of the family. They had a pool that we got to enjoy and of course the kids loved it. Nikki cooked up a great breakfast every morning. She would joke with us all the time which kept us laughing. The beds were super comfy and I loved that shower didnt run out of hot water so that my whole family could shower without it turning cold on us. Thank you for all the love shown to us during our rough time.
The front desk attendant was very nice and gave us the best advice for supper. She made the check in process quick and several times told me to let her know if there was anything we needed to change about the room. The price per night was beyond reasonable and it was exactly what we needed. Clean room, comfy bed and close to the interstate. The best thing the attendant told us was about Capt. Jacks Crab Shack next door. The food was fantastic!! Some of the best Snow crab legs weve had. The next morning the front desk attendant looked like she had had a very ruff night before. She barely got out good morning when we came in for breakfast. The buffet was not replenished and when a gentleman went outside to get the desk attendant(on a smoke break) she only put a few items out. Good supper, good sleeping but not so good breakfast.

Hotel was satisfactory. Very close to interstate, felt safe there. All staff I interacted with were courteous and knowledgeable.
The welcome and the actual getting a room was efficient and pleasant - especially finding the price which was a real bargain. All was fine in the room and the WiFi was strong and the connections were easily accessible. Breakfast was more than sufficient!
The rooms werent clean,lied about breakfast, added all kinds of taxes to the bill, bathroom floor was nasty,dead bugs behind door, so that let you know they didnt clean floors plus when I wiped the floor with wash cloth it turned black, that is why I gave it a rating of 2
We visited this place three weeks ago. The rooms were pretty nice - granted, they were dated, but most of the rooms in any hotel are. The TV was nice, internet was pretty fast, and the woman at checkin/checkout was very kind. The only issue I had was my rickety, creaky bed. The bed itself was pretty comfortable but whenever I rolled over the bedspreads creaked. I cant remember which room we were in sadly but we were on the left side on the first floor. I think soon a bed check should be in order for you, staff. I had a good enough rest for the one night I was there and woke refreshed and ready to complete my move.
Nikki was the reason we stayed because she said this was a great place. She didnt lie it was a great stay. We enjoyed talking to her about things to do in the area and even about buying a home here.Yall keep this place very clean for a older hotel and thats appreciated. I came to visit some family in Georgia and loved my stay here! The rooms were nice and lots of places to go eat. The breakfast was delicious & Nikki was so helpful with telling me what the best restaurants & shopping was around here. Thank you Nikki!
We had excellent service, and clean, comfortable beds. Its an older hotel, and needs some new tile, and updates, but if youre traveling, and looking for a good nights rest, its well worth the expense. Its right off the interstate, and near the usual fast food places.

The hotel is very convenient stop if you are heading to florida. was a bit hidden but im glad i found it. the staff was very friendly even helped me out with a discount. the rooms looked like it just got recently renovated it was very nice. the flat screen tv was a nice surprise as well. breakfast was a little crowded but they had everything i needed. and the biscuits and gravy was awesome! definitely staying here again on my way back!
We have stayed at this Quality Inn in the past and everything was always great; But this stay was even better - the beds and décor are brand new. Very clean room and bath. We used the pool several times and enjoyed the breakfast (love the eggs-gravy-biscuits). The staff was accommodating and gracious. To top it off the price is right!!
Arrived near midnight, was received quick n easy. The desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. Shower was nice n hot. Slept great. Quiet. Woke up well rested, breakfast was fresh and hot. Plenty to choose from. The breakfast area was jammed with happy smiling people showing me this place was packed and patrons were satisfied. Clean, conveniently located right next to I-75.
Came into town for the fair. We had a pleasant trip. Check in was great and check out was great. Breakfast was good, Nikki kept it hot and delicious. Loved that they had a dog area also. Prices were great as well.
All of the staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here on our next time in town!

The hotel staff are wonderful. Im here in their extended stay side and never have had a problem with the room or any other guests. The kids love the pool and so do I. The facility is clean and the breakfast they offer is grear way to start the day.
Was trying to help my parents find a safe place to stay on their way to Florida. They could no longer drive and needed a break. I called the hotel and Nikki helped me make a reservation for them and got them on ground floor. She got them checked in right before she got off and made sure they were good to go. Our stay was very satisfying. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. When I read this hotel was recently renovated .All hotels advertise that they are renovated, but are not.This hotel was actually renovated the room was very nice and had flat screen TV.In the morning I had a nice hot shower and enjoyed the free breakfast.
The hotel furnishings were very old and in need of refurbishing. Although everything appeared clean, I didnt feel comfortable in the room because of the state of the carpeting (damp) and the bathroom, although clean, was extremely small and in need of repair as well. The noise from the highway was also disruptive to a good nights sleep. Probably wont stay here again.
The room was not clean carpet was dirty, sheets were stained & bathroom shower had a lot of mold. The room smelled of smoke and there were several burn marks on countertop so even though it was a smoke free room clearly people were ignoring this and the hotel did not clean enough to rid the smell. Lastly door barely stayed shut even with lick engaged there was a gap.
Clean and well maintained, room, bedding was above par.The water stayed hot throughout my entire shower, and it smelled clean and fresh.AC/Heat worked as it should, as did all the lights.It could have a few more outlets, but their was one conveniently placed right on the bedside table that made charging my phone easy (did not have to crawl around to find a plug to put it into like you have to do in some of the hotels!!)The staff was friendly, and helpful, thank goodness they have rooms that allow PETS!!

This hotels is not worth the money!! With the specks of blood on the bed sheets and the leaking ceilings fill with water, find somewhere else to stay. I reserved a 2 queen bed but with the ceiling leaking onto my daughters, me and my wife and 2 daughters had to sleep in a queen bed together! We paid $300+ for a 3 night stay but was completely not worth it! People at the front really could care less about the situation! CHOICE HOTELS ARE TERRIBLE!
Only not a 5 star only because it could is a little updating. It was clean, comfortable, and had a nice breakfast. Definitely a shout out for the biscuits and gravy. They werent cracker barrell, but good eating. We stayed for a layover driving to Orlando. I would stay again, and probably will do so soon.
Not that this makes it bad, but, Be aware: every room is only accessible from outside ... No secured hallways.Staying here really depends on what you can tolerate. :Its a tough sell - you would really need a room at a lower price to stay here ... its older and not updated, I stayed in room 116: has thin, worn, and stained towels/washcloths, asked front desk for extra shampoo and didnt have any because only housekeeping handles that, water drips from sink, towel rack came off it mounts and a support bracket is broken,... its seen better days. Each morning my clothes were damp, even though they had been hung up. Its like the A/C wasnt working correctly to take the humidity out of the air in the room.The atmosphere is easygoing and good-enough, because, good-enough is good enough. I know that the front desk person is overworked and probably very appreciated because they appeared to be short staffed and they needed her to work or else no one would be there.
The front desk alerted me that the owners watch the hotel on voice and video from their home. I could not take my breakfast to my room to my CHILDREN. I was told weekly stayers were not allowed to. My room was mildewed, sticky carpet thru out, I was overcharged from what OTHER tenants pay and because I asked for the boss to COMPLAIN about it ALL! I was put out (I had left to take my infant to the hospital) and for 32 hours there they kept a whole 100 dollars. Sad! The front desk Nikki is also an instigator. She tells people prices and says she will say she didnt say it so she dont get in trouble. I will recommend this hotel to nobody.
The inside and outside of the hotel was nice and everyone was great. When we checked in it was fast and when we went to breakfast it was very good. Nikki is a great person to have on breakfast shift. She is a wonderful young lady.
The room was a mess, there was a bad smell, the bathroom walls were stained and dirty, the tile floor was also stained and unswept, the bed was hard, the pillows were small and smelled. The whole room had a moisture problema king it feel sticky. The only saving grace for the hotel was that we were too tired to find a new one. Thankfully we only stayed the night, but I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. The place needs a major update to keep up with the standard the rest of the brand sets.
This was my first time staying at this particular motel and I have to say it was an extremely pleasant experience! The room was spacious and clean, the motel was very quiet even though its parallel to the interstate, and the girls at the desk were engaged and cheerful. After the horrid check in/check out experiences at the Econo Lodge down the street, Christen and Nikki were a joy to work with.Its also a perfect location; just before you get onto the racetrack that is I-75 between Macon and Atlanta.I have to make that trip again soon and as soon as I finish this review I am going to make a new reservation at this motel; its now my go-to on this route.
The lobby area and the breakfast eating area could have been a little bit larger. The tables were way to close to each other and it felt like you kept bumping into the other guests trying to get to the food and get back to your seat. The bathroom in the hotel room needs to be a lot bigger. I enjoy staying at any of the Quality Inns, I just wish that this one could have been a little bit cleaner and a little bit bigger, especially for a family of 5. But overall, we had a good experience and would recommend any of the Quality Inns to any one.
Large, clean rooms. Great customer service. Good breakfast selections. Requested a smoking room and it didnt even smell like smoke. Typically, being a smoker, I request non smoking and just smoke outside because rooms smell so strongly of smoke, very impressed with the quality and comfort of this hotel!
Decent but outdated room, comfortable bed, staff was very nice, great place to run the dog, dog friendly. Would stay again overnight, not for extended stay.
Easily accessible from I75. Both the check-in and check-out clerk were friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and clean, a bit outdated. Surroundings were quiet. Pool had its own building; did not use. Nearby restaurants were typical fast food, drove 10 minutes for a nice meal.

Our daughter said you had the best hotel in Byron, and she was right! We will be staying here on the way back from our cruise.
Our 2 bed room had sheets on one bed that were dirty. My two kids had to sleep squished in one bed with me. Headboard and microwave edges were dirty. Shower was hot, thank goodness!
We stay here at least twice every year. This is the perfect stop for us. The hotel is nice and very clean. Good breakfast, very helpful staff. Beds were comfy and there were nice hot showers. We will be back soon.
This was our first stay at the Byron GA location. It was beyond our expectations.The room was extremely clean and very large. Easy to get to right off I-75, and wonderful hot breakfast. Staff was very courteous and smiled. Will definitely stay here again.
We found this hotel to be a great value. Clean, good location, friendly service. I included a fridge and microwave, and even a little sitting area with a love seat and coffee table. We would definitely stay here again!
I choose this hotel when traveling because the staff is friendly, the rooms are always clean and quiet. The breakfast has a great selection and it just feels like home to me. I have stayed here for years and gotten to know the staff so I feel very safe when staying as well.
Night stay was good. Close to I 75 so you will hear a lot of traffic till about 2 am, breakfast was good, got one table were you can not view the tv.. Check in was fast. Girl who works the morning shift is very nice and makes sure goers are doing ok which is nice, does not sit behind desk and talk on cell like other hotel employees
The stay was great. Place is nice and clean, rested well and had a great breakfast in the morning with a smiling cheerful Nikki. She kept us laughing and started our day right.
The hotel was relatively clean but dated. The headboards were an attempt at newer style but were horribly touched up with stain. The bathroom was clean but painted completely yellow and had lots of poor touch-up jobs. It was just okay.
Excellent room for the money. The check in staff was great and very accommodating to our needs. One of the nicest hotels in the chain Ive stayed in the last 3 years. We would highly recommend it to family and friends.
The water coming out of the faucets is horrible, slinky and I’m really tolerant, I almost never buy bottled water. But We had to buy water to drink during the night, and to make coffee in the morning in our room, Which is another thing, why not put descent coffee in the rooms?? instead of something That tastes like the flavored water it is?.... I realize you service in the food area in the morning, but it’s the same water and taste just as bad. Fore warned. Even the juice was mixed with the water. Come on guys you can do better than this
Even though there was a minor discrepancy with whether or not we wanted a smoking or non smoking room (we made our reservations online through Choice Hotels website and while our reservation confirmation showed that we booked a non smoking room, the front desk staff told us we had booked a smoking room, however, he was very helpful and made the changes quickly), the staff were friendly and the hotel was nice and comfortable. It may not be in a desirable neighborhood, but it was a very nice stay despite that.
Nice quiet stay, I stayed two nights, only issue was no breakfast only a pack to go which includes, water, a granola bar, a danish but other than that I would stay there again
It’s ok, it’s nice but not great. It should been cheaper or the need an upgrade. Old microwave. Well for starters each room is hit or miss. I stayed three nights one week and three nights the next due to company work. First room was ok. You can see a lot of ware and tare. The cracks in the door was bad for the air. Well so we got another room after that. The refrigerator and microwave and lamp not work. But only because where the stand was. There was no plug. We let the front desk know while we was at work to come back to a extension cord. But there were a refrigerator refuse to still work. The toilet seat was broken and the room Smelled of smoke. It’s ok stay. Wouldn’t recommend unless it’s in your budget.But the staff was great I give them 5 stars.
We enjoyed our stay here for 1 night as we were traveling through. Everything was clean, the breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable. Very relaxing stay. I also had a great nights sleep. Ill be back again.
I really was thankful that I chose to stay at this location. All of the staff was very courteous and helpful but there was one that was absolutely the best. It was fantastic. We came into town for the fair because we are a vender there. We needed the rest we got here to have our strength to go all day. Quality inn didnt disappoint. They providers a great stay and a nice breakfast provided by Nikki
The Quality Inn is nothing special, but it was what we needed. We needed a place to shower and sleep a couple of nights close to our festival. The wifi gave us no problems what so ever. There is a microwave and small frig in the room. Everything was in good working order.
Poor our stay at this hotel was poor because the lock on the door wouldn’t open. The room just needed to in better condition. this survey is redundant and too long.
I stay on a regular basis and always have a good experience. The staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are clean, comfortable and affordable. If you are ever in Byron, Georgia and need a place to stay, I recommend Quality Inn!!
At the start everything was excellent except the location. the hotel is on route 192west, but off I75 it route is 192 East, so we went 192 West. But we came back and saw the mar key. Every thing at this hotel was very refreshing with a wonderful bed, wonderful shower and a very nice breakfast. Will always stay when going south. Hotel staff was also very accommodating for us.

We stayed in room 107 and enjoyed our stayed. Everything was nice and clean. Nikki was very friendly and checked us out with ease. Great staff and facility. We definitely stay again.
The desk clerk was very accommodating and helpful. Our room was clean but had a broken toilet tank which led to water all over the floor. We did not stay for breakfast so no comment on that.
When we first checked in the lady was great with customer service (therefore my complaint is not about her). When we went to our room there was dog hair all over the bed. So she decided to switch us rooms. The next room was handicap, therefore it did not have the sofa which we wanted. So we asked to have a comparable room. So then the third rooms fridge did not work. Therefore once again we were sent to another room. This room had several individuals sitting in lawn chairs out front of it drinking beer so we did not feel comfortable. So I asked if we could just return to the original room and change out the bedding and clean it up. The hotel did not carry extra bedding so we were forced to go into one of the previous rooms and remove the bedding in order to make this possible. The cleaning and maintenance staff clearly arent doing there job.
Enjoyed our stay and Nikki was so helpful. She helped us find different places we were looking for. She even went beyond her job title and took time to write out the way to go and how to stay off the highway as we didnt want to be on the highway. We couldnt thank her enough for doing that for us. We will be back on our way through.
The receptionist Nikki was super friendly. Quick at checking me in and left an amazing breakfast spread in the morning. Very clean and wonderful service. Would definitely stay again in the future.
Traveling to Florida after a long day on the road. Room was clean. No hot water for shower in the AM, and the breakfast was awful. I informed the desk clerk about the shower and she was apologetic and nice but that was it. The breakfast offerings seem to be getting worse at Choice locations. Dont let that be a reason to stay at one.
The room was just adequate for an overnight stay, furnishings were worn, television was lousy, telephone blinked all night, clock would not work, could not set it! This is the third year we have stayed in this motel on our way to Florida and next year will probably look for other accommodations as the quality has slipped. We leave by 4:00am and not even a sweet roll available. Was able to get a cup of coffee.
I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting or working in the area. The staff was great and very courteous at all times. There was a very good breakfast in the morning. Rooms were big and airy. Definitely stay here when youre passing through!
Not a newer hotel but clean and well maintained. Bedding was high quality and comfortable and towels were plentiful and in new condition.The hot breakfast as opposed to the typical continental breakfast was also a plus. Would recommend.
My family and I drove all the way from Texas, we had an excellent stay! The hotel was very clean, the rooms were very nice, very quiet for being right by the highway, my kids loved the pool and the staff was extremely nice! We will definitely stay here again when we come back!
I stayed here on my way to a relatives house with my two boys. It was a very long drive and I stopped to rest at about 6 a.m. Can I just say Nikki is such an amazing person and she is so considerate! I was so tired and she helped me with literally EVERYTHING which meant a lot with my kiddos! Got me a room so fast and even helped me with luggage! I have been a district mananger in customer service for 12 years and I have seen it all so I know when an employee is exceptionally valuable and Nikki is definitely one of those employees!! THANK YOU NIKKI!

We were lucky to find a room due to a festival going on, quite happy with our stay. Clean, fresh room but a little outdated. Comfortable bed with plenty of pillows to choose from. Bathoom could use some help - a little dark, caulk peeling around tub, BUT awesome water pressure and multiple setting shower head.
Dont bother stopping,,,,Drive away I have never stayed in a worse hotel. The room stunk terribly. I didnt want to even shower or take my shoes off. I felt dirty but refused to take a shower. I tried several times to contact the front desk but no one would answer. It was super late and we only had a few hours to sleep so we sprayed deodorizer and slept in clothes. I was very disappointed because it had gotten 4 out of 5 stars! It should not even gotten 1

Traveling back from home after evacuating due to hurricane Irma. It was 2 AM when we checked in, we were exhausted! Staff was pleasant. However, the room smelled of smoke. The air conditioner was unplugged and it seemed as though there was no circulation and had been circulation of air whatsoever!The sofa had a stain that covered both cushions... didnt bother having a seat. If you just want to sleep a few hours, I guess. Rooms should be designated as smoking or non smoking and worn furniture should be replaced.
This hotel was clean and the staff was wonderful, We enjoyed the swimming pool and the WIFI worked well. I was also happy to see breakfast was served early and it was warm not only dry foods. Eggs w/biscuts and gravy was good to eat.
Wasted points and money on 2 rooms. Low water pressure, spiders in rooms, rooms were outdated and dingy, carpets were dirty feeling, Shower made a loud squeeling sound, blankets were stained, breakfast was not stocked, very, very disappointed. I have stayed here I the past and boy has it changed. Definitely not choice hotel quality. Will not stay here on my way home.

I loved my stay here! I came to visit my Nana & Pawpaw in Byron and decided to stay here. I was surprised at how nice and clean it was for the price! Ms. Nikki went above and beyond by telling me how to get around town the fastest & the best places to eat. I appreciate her so much & will def be back to stay and see Ms. Nikki next time i come visit my grandparents again ;) thank you nikki!!
The hotel was nice and conveniently located near the Interstate. The breakfast was ok. I have had better breakfast at other Quality Inns. Some of the food was cold and there were no waffles.
Had a business dinner at the Mexican restaurant and was looking for a close place to stay that was clean and safe. This place was that and more. I look for a place like home when I work away from home and this was it. I dont remember who checked me but I remember Nikki checked me out cause she gave me her card.she was sweet as could be and was sure to ask to make sure my stay was good
This is one of the nicest choice hotels Ive stayed at and in the future doing my snowbird trips Ill try to keep this one in mind. Great manager we got in very late and told him our delima how we just couldnt make it to a farther point choice hotel. Too many hours behind the wheel for me and Im pretty sure he got my cancellation in for that hotel...great guy!
The hotel stay was nice. Quick visit but good. Pool was still open so that was a good way to release our tried tracking legs. We had a fast check in and loved nikki at brrakfast.

It was exactly as Choice Hotels . com said it would be.Clean, room smelled good, and comfortable.We had no problem sleeping with noise, even though it is right off of the highway!Thanks again for a great nights sleep, and all the kind words when we came in tired.

Personal were excellant. Room had a lot to be desired. Toilet seat was broken, bathroom door would not shut, mold on shower curtain. Exterior door was in poor array. As I said in review Quality was not at this Quality Inn. The price we paid far exceeded this room.
Coffee pot was broken in room. Went to the office at 4 a.m. to get coffee. The office was locked. The office person Megan was sleeping. I knocked at the window. She would not let me in , give me a different coffee pot or make coffee until later. Had to practically beg her for my receipt.that should have been under my door by then. The place was dirty. Bugs in room. Wont go there again. When traveling 2 days on the road, coffee is important to me. Very poor service!
First, the front desk associates were very nice and tried to be helpful. We were placed in a handicapped room (which we thought might be goodl to my husband who has a prosthetic) which may have been a mistake.The room air/heating unit was unplugged and required us to manually plug in. Then the off switch didnt work.The microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator were on one extension cord which seemed like it could be a fire hazard.The door to the bathroom would not close unless you moved the mattress off its foundation a few inches. We also found a rack close to the sink was easily hit with your head if you werent careful.Electrical plugs were in very awkward locations to be able to shave, blow dry hair. etc. We thought it was odd that there were none in the bathroom but were told this is a regulation. Really - dont people with disabilities shave and/or dry their hair?The landline phone did not work at all. We were told that the plug was behind the headboard and couldnt be reached. We did have a cell, but if you didnt, then you could not even call for help.The TV control needed some attention...period. Could only use for some functions.There was no hand out (formal or otherwise) to give advice on nearby restaurants etc.This is my first negative review ever - and like I say, the staff was pleasant, but the room not so much so. Not because it wasnt clean, but because of the issues noted above.As a general comment, I would also recommend that the front desk give those traveling with a dog and option to be near where that dog would be walked.
We needed a place on our travels just for the night. It was an easy stop and really comfy bed. We will be back. The price was good and the breakfast had good options.
I brought my Mother to Georgia to say her final respects to her sister. At first I thought the room was going to be ok but later as we settled in it was not. The bathroom was dirty from the tub to the floors the handicap fixtures were loose and the springs were coming out the mattress. We were offered a new room, but it was not the same type that I had ordered so it was unacceptable. I was also told that a percentage would be taken off at checkout but was given a hard time when checkout came.
This hotel needs a new manager, and a large overhaul in order to be up to Quality Inns standards. Furniture in poor condition, room extremely dirty and very poorly maintained. Front desk staff is amazing and very helpful to the full extent that they can be.
The staff is very nice! Becky and Vanessa are amazing and were very helpful when I walked into the inn. The room is very clean and beds are comfortable! Definitely worth staying in on your visit driving through.
For the price of this place its wonderful. Pool, and breakfast and the staff is great i would love to stay here again. The maintenance man is a rare gem he runs when called he dosent just get to it when he can. Clean room and beds with a flat screen tv. Bathrooms are very nice too.

Great, inexpensive place to stop for the night, especially if you are travelling with a pet. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, breakfast was adequate, and pool area looked nice, although I didnt use it. Nice restaurants are a drive as there is not much local. I would stay in again.

Pool is NOT indoors! Its across the parking lot enclosed in glass and NOT heated. Breakfast was average, cramped tables in small lobby. Poor woman had to run the front desk and oversee the breakfast area. Rooms clean. Small odd pillows.
The rooms are clean, quiet, smell good, and the beds are soft. The staff is very happy and works to make your stay a good one. The new renovations make it even better (did not think that was possible!)
Easy to find, off the highway, motel with restaurants and fuel nearby. Counter girl pleasant. Room adequately clean. All equipment worked properly. HVAC a little sensitive. Breakfast room not near large enough for a full house with food/drink not kept stocked.
Room 120 Has very strong carpet deodorizer stank& roaches in the bathroom. When I went to front desk, the receptionist tried to tell me we dont have ... Until I said I have pictures. She put me on the phone with Manny (manager) They couldnt give me another room because only thing available was long term smoking rooms and I have the best room. I declined the offer to come spray. That would have been 2 toxics (deodorizer & chemicals).Microwave was dirty, so my convenient meal was skipped.Even though the receptionists are sweet, kind and understanding, I will never make this mistake again.On the way out Ive noticed plenty of room doors opened, humm.BTW, I wondered y there were 2handicap pkng spaces in front of that room. I soon found out. What would they have done if a handicap person showed up. Kicked me out!
I was pleasantly surprised at the overall experience I had at this hotel. The entire staff seemed to enjoy their job and was more than accommodating. The hotel itself was very well maintained and the room was very comfortable. I will definitely be returning.
We stayed here on the fly one night while driving on a road trip. Our second-floor non-smoking room smelled like smoke, the hotel is in dire need of a remodel, we found hair all over the bathroom and the hot breakfast items were obviously leftover from a previous day. I would avoid this hotel if possible.
Update: still 5 star. Its been about a year. Still a great property. Worth it 100% Original review below.Multiple stays this month. Great little spot. Parking is good, rooms are nicely updated and comfortable, hot breakfast. I have no complains at all.
Over all value was good for the price. The rooms were clean, staff helpful, noise level was very low. The breakfast was better than most, hot food. There is an enclosed pool , looks clean.
Excellent hotel, excellent staff, excellent room and excellent breakfast. Nikki was a great host and helped us back to our room. We was in 104 and our hands were full and it was raining. Thank you for the help.

2022-05-05I was able to get a ground floor room on short notice, using reward points. The linens were dingy and looked unclean - especially the pillowcases and washcloths. Thick dust was around the edges of the carpet, and the fridge did not work.

2022-05-13If I could give it negative stars I would. My booking was 2:00 p.m I called the hotel and informed them I was going to be late because I was at the wrong location when I arrived I paid for a room that wasn’t what I booked and wasn’t cleaned at all when I asked for the room I booked he said the regular rooms are 69.99 and said the room that “I assumed I booked” was $140 my total came to 95.65 for one night so I ask what room was I booked for he checked the computer and said I booked a regular room so when I informed the man he over charged me for an I cleaned room that I didn’t book in the first place he told me that the rooms price was 79.99 $80 with tax and the room I assumed I booked (with jacuzzi tub - Smoking) was $160 and I could pay for the room or get a double queen when I asked for my money back his wife came and said it would be back with in 2-3 days I couldn’t wait 2-3 days to pay for the room I want my money and I have pictures and if I can’t upload them here I’m posting this on the BBB

2022-03-13This motel needs a complete remodel. Desk staff was friendly. Room was clean. Large bathroom appropriate for handicapped, but strange arrangement. Sink small and poorly installed. Overall dark and dreary.

2021-11-23Staff was super nice and friendly when I had to stay due to my truck being in the shop. Rooms were really clean and the restrooms as well. The beds were nice as well. All in all it was a very good place and there’s several places to eat within walking distance as well as if you want to DoorDash something there’s plenty of options. Would stay here again if I was ever traveling through.

2021-10-06To start it took an hour for us to get in our room. Check in was easy when she finally got to us. Twice my boyfriend had to down to the front desk because the key card didnt work. We had made reservations online and Had requested the air be turn on in our room before we checked in. It was not done. Water pressure was horrible, and was barely warm. Room was clean, bed was okay, and the pillows were good.

Clock didnt work, went and ask for a different one, but they didnt have any. 2) Mirror on back of bathroom door was on the floor standing up (3) finger or toe nails on floor. Bed wasnt as comfortable as I was expecting. Just disappointed> Ill never stop there again.

2021-06-18Okay so not as nice as the rate reviews led to believe. However the Staff was so nice and carring. Eddie was so sweet and you can definitely tell he cares for his job. He apologized for the pool closer as well as the hot breakfast being down. Which was sad but understandable. They did still accommodate us with sack breakfast that had crackers, granola bar and a honey bun and a cold water. The morning staff was friendly. We are a family only traveling through for 1 night so dont know much about the area. It seemed friendly but bit of a party Seen for a Thursday but not to bad. The rooms where clean and I personally didnt see any roaches. The only thing I really could say is beds make noise with every toss and turn so me being a light sleeper with the 5 of us I didnt sleep well. But they are comfy. And there is a musty smell but you can tell its an older hotel. Definitely worth the money to me. For the price were happy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
