Red Lobster in other cities:
Wow, we’ve been having a horrible experience here with chain and local restaurants alike. I haven’t even reviewed most of them. It seems like customer service is a thing of the past and getting what’s on the menu is a crapshoot because of…. (Enter excuse) and COVID. I’m finding covid to be the ultimate excuse anymore for why meals are horrendous. NOT SO HERE!! With much trepidation we ate at this Red Lobster this past Saturday. Our meal was delicious, the salads were sizeable, fresh, (not wilted, unwashed or brown) and the entrees were hot and delicious. We spoke with general manager Jessica Carter and told her how appreciative we were and we just went back tonight (Valentines day) and brought our daughter and grandson and had even better service and less of a wait and again, fresh, delicious food and just a gratifying dining experience. Twice in two days. We have found our place! Saw Jessica again and she is keenly interested in our satisfaction and said they’ve been working so hard to get it right and go above and beyond. IT SHOWS! Yes, I filled out the survey. Sounds melodramatic maybe but this restaurant has restored my faith in believing that some people do give a darn and try to be the best they can be.
The food is never hot. Waited for food for 30 mins and had to send my mac and cheese back because it was cold.. then the waitress brought me more COLD mac and cheese in a piping hot bowl! I really was looking forward to the mac and cheese, but I just gave up and ate the rest of my food which was at least a tad bit WARM.
All I ordered was fettuccini alfredo and biscuits...took 45 minutes. I even ordered through app 25 minutes before I got there. Food was cold, and biscuits were hard even though I was told they were fresh. However waitress was extremely nice and apologized a couple times.
Normally the food and service is pretty good at this location. However, what I received today it unacceptable. I ordered the lobster artichoke dip and felt disrespected with the amount I received. I called the store to express my concern and was told thats the amount that is supposed to be served. This is not my first time ordering this so I knew this was completely false.
They didnt let us make a reservation and told us that its first-come, first-serve, so there was about a 30- to 45-minute wait for the table. We werent given utensils so we had to ask for them. Floors were dirty and tables werent bussed in a timely manner, where 2 tables near us were not bussed throughout our entire stay (maybe an hour, hour and a half long).Prices are a little on the higher side, but we expected that. What I did not expect was to pay $10 for 4 stuffed mushrooms. I also asked if I could have some alfredo as one of my side dishes. Waiter explained that he would have to charge me for it, either way, as it is not a normal side option, so he suggested that I select my normal two sides and then add the alfredo as a separate item. Also ordered oranges as side items for two kids meals. We never received the orange sides, though we were charged for them (no credit for them, either), so we paid $16 for two small, thin breaded pieces of fish.I received a bowl of alfredo sauce... when I asked the waiter where the noodles were, he said that costs even more and he told me I asked for just the sauce. That was wrong because there was literally nothing else on the table that just alfredo sauce could even go with or added to... I wanted/ordered a side of alfredo noodles. He gave me two options... I could pay more and have the noodles added, or he could take the sauce away and remove it from my ticket. I opted for him to just remove it from my ticket and he insisted that he ask the kitchen to make a side of alfredo noodles. So he took the sauce, came back with lightly sauced noodles (the noodles were noticeably less than the bowl of sauce that was taken, so they didnt just add the noodles). And to top it all off, when we were ready for our ticket, he picked up the mobile kiosk thing, faced it away from us, and went all the way through the screens/prompts to the last/payment screen so I wouldnt see that he actually charged me for both the sauce AND the side of noodles (which cost a little more than half what I would have paid for a full entree of alfredo noodles). He never removed the sauce, so we were stolen from/ charged for the sauce and the two sides of oranges. At least most of the food was good. Just wont be coming back here for a long time.
Extremely disappointing experience. Steak was not fresh and was overcooked. Ive had hubba bubbas less chewy than that steak. If I wanted box Mac and cheese I wouldve stayed at home. Forgot silverware, and brought plastic utensils that wouldnt cut the steak. Never offered refills. Forgot our shrimp scampi, when the drinks were brought out, the server had his hands around the top of the cups, appetizers tasted like they were microwaved right before being served. Very overpriced for the quality of food. Left hungry. Restaurant was practically empty, and for a good reason. Server watched us sit down and asked us what we wanted when we literally havent had time to sit down much less look at the menu. I had a similarly bad experience at another red lobster and decided to give them a second chance, I will never come here or any Red lobster again. Highly advise anyone to dine elsewhere. Anywhere else. Or not at all for that matter. Would have preferred left over fast food over this atrocity. Only giving it a 1 star because I have no other choice. For $95 I really wish there ANYTHING worth that. Im fact this is the first time in my life Ive ever left a review on a restaurant. I felt like I was obligated to, as bad as this was. I wouldnt dine here again if it was free.
A super good experience, We try many other places and they were so crowded (cuz it was Sunday @1) and they offer us sitting at the bar if we didn’t want to wait and it was the best option !. This little angel Laila Grey (our waitress) just make our lunch special , made us forget about everything and just enjoy our time there, she is so kind so sweet and make you feel more than welcome. The food was great just made , the dishes are big you can easily share (we did) the cocktail 🤤 the sangría is the best one highly recommend, the place super clean and the other workers as well .
Took my daughter here for lunch today, theres lunch specials until 3pm, sometimes later if you ask your server. Our server was Cindy, who was very sweet. Theres no food allergy menu, no GF options, thankfully seafood is GF, they use real butter and use canola oil. Pictured is our appetizer, and 2 meals. Wasnt busy at all for lunch, very nice!!
This was one disappointing visit! Red Lobster is my favorite restaurant and I frequently visit. Today was awful!!!! The manager for the night shift Ms. Debra was very rude and was not interested in fixing the scorched dip I received. Even after explaining to her that it is a dish that I eat often she continued to go back in forth about what the dish contains. I had to pull up the description of the dish to show her that it wasnt properly made. It will be a while before I come back. Im only giving 2 stars because Kimberly was a great waitress. In addition these pictures show the presentation and size of the dessertmy dinner guest friends received.
Came for dinner for our 13th anniversary. Had a guy come in, sit down and was so impatient he couldnt wait 3 minutes for a drink order and made it sound like we were impatient. Deanne at the bar was AMAZING. She handled that jerk with class and handled us amazingly. Yall are amazing and I will be back! Also thanks for my amazing lobster punch and glass, it was super cool. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Love itWe just learned tonight that she is no longer with us. It brought both my husband and into tears, rip angel 💔
I havent been to Red Lobster in at least a year. I was pleasantly surprised. The menu was upgraded and the service was amazing. The waiter was nice as well as other waiters. They would walk by asking if i were okay & needed anything. Atmosphere was laid back on a Friday. The prices were reasonable for a seafood restaurant as well as plenty options. The oysters were awesome! No complaints! I enjoyed myself so much I visited Friday & Saturday. Michelle was my waiter Friday & Gerald Sat. Both had great service. Friday I ordered New Orleans Salmon, asparagus & cauliflower. So good!
Waitress was friendly, she was on the ball getting our order. Our forks were dirty. She took them back and washed them herself. Fish was greasing yet dry on the inside. Not much flavor. Sweet tea was good. Mens restroom was horrible. Womans restroom was clean. I wont go back to this one again.
There were plenty of empty tables but they still had us wait to be seated about 15 mins. Both my husband and daughter ordered salad my husband never got his. My daughter wasnt able to eat hers because we did not have silverware. We had to ask another wait staff for straws. When our food finally arrived is when we were able to get silverware. My husband also did not get the sides he had ordered either. We thought Red Lobster had changed with the new menu but I guess they need to work on the customer service first.
Update 1/23/2022 - So the quality seems down from what it used to, buy to be honest the service deserves another star.. The manager Johnny deserves a huge thanks for customer service excellence.Previous Review- I think to be honest RL has cut back on quality. The service is stellar, but the food is just barely a cut above the rest. I dont mean like captain ds quality it is definitely better than that. Wow it has gone down in the last two years. Thanks for reading..
Made the mistake of ordering from them again. My order had 4 entrees. When it was picked up, was promised that everything was included in the bag. Dont need to check it. When we get home, 30 minutes away, the bag was missing an entire entree. Ruined mothers day. Thanks red lobster. If I ever need to be disappointed, frustrated, or have my day ruined, I know what to do.
Management there is absolutely dreadful the tall manager with the blue contacts and curly hair caught an attitude with me about my food that she touched with her bare hand and then argued with me while the Caucasian lady with the glasses screamed at staff at the top of her lungs from the kitchen I really feel bad for the workers there how do they deal with management who acts like their on a ghetto episode of Hell’s Kitchen
The service was excellent. They have the seating spaced out for social distancing. All staff were wearing masks. The food was good. We had the lobster pizza for an appetizer and it was excellent. My wife had the Louisiana Salmon dish ,my son had the Nashville hot shrimp, and I had a NY Strip steak with fries and a side of shrimp. Everything we had was cooked perfect and very delicious. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice. Just a good experience.
Five stars for our server! John H was very polite and accommodating! Excellent customer service! And the food was also good! (My kids are pretty picky eaters but they cleaned their plates!) Thanks for the great experience John! Hope to see you still serving there in the future! Don’t be so hard on yourself! Chin up and show confidence! Be proud because you are doing great!
I ordered the lobster linguine and when it arrived it tasted sour almost like the lobster was bad and it was extremely garlicky. The waiter was nice and let me get a different entree so I ordered the bacon wagyu burger which I ordered to be cooked medium. My burger took at least 15-20 min and it was red in the middle! Now (the next morning) I am sick. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE!!
The Wait staff was great, had the all the shrimp special, and the waiter, had our seconds ordered before we were finished , so there was no lull in between, the coconut shrimp, is awesome, I am from a coastal town, so dont eat much at red Lobster at home, due to the availability of fresh seafood, but was very happy with our meal here tonight .
I have to give this Red Lobster 3 stars because I dont play about my cheddar biscuits. I thought thats the first thing to come out. We asked the waitress where the biscuits were after 20 mins of waiting and she said shell bring them with the salads. Since when did Red Lobster start doing that? And she rarely came to check on us. We could have walked out and she not know it.
Awesome staff me and my girl try and come every Monday for the All You Can Eat Shrimp deal and all I can say is they never seem to Fail or disappoint us at this Location. Everything is on point and always cooked right. The Servers and Management definitely take pride in making sure their Customers leave happy and Completely satisfied. P
Food is good, service is horrendous. Im assuming its due to the difficulty of finding employees, but still, this was base level stuff. First, the host asked me and my girlfriend, to our faces, if we thought wed fit in a booth when we asked for one. Top level hospitality. If we werent already in the mood for their food or hed been our server, wed have left right then. Our server was only marginally better. He forgot one of my sides and took so long to get it to me that I basically had brocolli for dessert. He never refilled my drinks either. This place is a probably a gamble until the pandemic is over.
If I could leave zero stars I would we waited over 40 minutes to be sat just to be sat at a dirty table that still had food all over the seats. I cleaned it off myself and then we waited for a server our server was very nice at first and took our drink and appetizer order then I waited over ten minutes for my drink which were water and sprite we received our appetizer before we received our drinks. After that our server said it would be a couple more minutes before we received biscuits when in reality we waited over thirty minutes for our biscuits when every other table that was in our section got the biscuits in under five minutes. We then placed our entree order and then proceeded to wait another 40 minutes for our food just for that to come out cold and by this point I was just fed up and ready to leave so I asked for our check and I paid the bill. I called the next day and asked to speak to the manger Leah and while speak to her she had a very bad attitude and did not know how to speak to a customer. I will not be returning and spending anymore money at this location. I used to come here all the time and now I will never return because this unacceptable.
Havent been to a Red Lobster in several years. In case youre not aware, this is very chain-oriented and not a place you can get fresh lobster. Your options are limited to frozen lobster tail and thats it. Crab didnt come with utensils and waitress said they had no crab forks 🤔. Rolls were always good as expected. Service other than that was pleasant.
I guess Red Lobster is going down hill, they have cootinually been changing their menu, like they no longer have fried brocolli and red peppers with their calimari, now its hot banana peppers. They no longer offer stuffed talapa, and last night the cheddar bay biscuits had no butter and herbs on them. The shrimp and lobster was over cooked an even crunchy. So not a good experience at a once top notch establishment. The place was not packed or what i would call extremely busy, but our server acted as if it were. Rarely came around and forgot several thing, like drink refills, butter with the lobster, and a couple of sauces for different people.
Our server was phenomenal. The food is always good. I get maple glazed chicken. It is perfectly cooked and juicy and the glaze is just sweet enough to pair with the mashed potatoes and rice. Our server was on it tonight. She had several tables and not once did I see her not stop and check on each table. It was like each table was her only one. I eat here every so often but if I could get that young lady again I would eat here weekly.
Place was excellent. It was our first time going to red lobster ever and my expectations were exceeded. Customer Service was fantastix was Immediately seated and given our drinks. The complimentary biscuits were pretty good. The food took a little bit to come out but was expected for the quality it was. I will definitely be coming back.
My family decided to eat here for mine, and my sisters birthday. First off, the server was very kind, and the food was good, but it took forever to get our drinks, and our server made a few mistakes with our orders. That wasnt a huge deal, we did have a large party, and were not the easiest to deal with when were all together. What was really disappointing was when I came back to the table, after a bathroom break, the manager was separating our tables because of a customer complaint about us not social distancing FROM EACH OTHER.. Not even because we were to close to anyone else. Mind you we had already been there over an hour, and were all family who spend a lot of time together. So, then we had to basically yell at each other to talk. Overall it was just an extremely unnecessarily frustrating evening. I wouldnt recommend eating here while all of this Covid mess is going on.
I had the shrimp deal they had going on. I had shrimp scampi and fried shrimp. My waitress whats not good my mother left her a good tip I would not have. It took her forever to bring out biscuits. I asked for extra salad dressing never got it, we asked for extra biscuits we got them as we were fixing to leave we had to ask for our check so we could leave. This is the second time Ive come to this Red Lobster and I think this is the second time Ive gotten the same waitress and very bad service now the shrimp was great and when I did get a biscuit it was great I just wish I could hire somebody better
Walked in and stood in the lobby for 10 minutes before being greeted. Finally, a manager walks up and says the greeter will be up shortly but rethinks it and ask how many are in our party. I said 3. He said 25-30 minutes. We went to the one on 13th St, walked in, sat down, and the food and service were good. I ordered a Bahams Mama and it was nasty! First time I ordered one and it was not good.
Management needs to look at staff placement and have a meeting to help alleviate a lot of simple problems. Tables not cleaned, literally 2 tables stayed full of dirty plates for 45 min. The order was wrong. Staff just walking around when clearly they can step in...understand though if they are not being valued, or paid enough they will only do minimal.
The worst. More than 2 hours for service. Rubbery, dried out food. Expensive. Made for a sad birthday treat for my daughter. Seriously, not worth the money. No live lobsters, poorly maintained space, and unfriendly staff. Not waitresses fault, but the kitchen dis not have act together. Wasnt even that crowded. Will not go here again
Horrible! Location...North Columbus, Adams Farm Dr. Waited over an hour for food ordered by phone twenty minutes in advance, and not prepared to our satisfaction. We love blackened and charred chicken to be paired with any pasta dish, (which was the request) however, that request was never fulfilled. We asked (politely) for a do over ended up worst than the first order. We just ended up accepting the horribly prepared food because we were hungry and had been waiting over an hour. Too boot, the manager went back and forth with us (just a little) because we wanted the chicken prepared to our liking. Politely, I responded... this is too much money to spend for food not prepared the way it was requested, after the second attempt (which was prepared worst) the manager could assess our displeasure, she then said...its still not good enough I replied, lets just forget it. We will take it as is.
I usually dont like red lobster because Im not a seafood type of guy but I had to attend a birthday party here so there wasnt much I could do about being forced to go here. Needless to say I was expecting to hate every minute of our visit. The staff was so friendly and attentive that they changed my opinion about going there in no time at all. The food was great and the wait staff and manager were very nice, they even let my 5 y.o. daughter pet the lobsters.Overall we had a great time and although I still dont like seafood, I would gladly go back because it was one of our better dining experiences here in Columbus.
The service was very slow we waited and waited until we got a different waitress then it was pretty good. You can make it better by making sure when somebody comes in and you have a Hostess up front not only that when they acceded the waitress are the waiter should be right there at the table it should not take 15 or 20 minutes for them to come up and get your drink order and then you have to wait another 25 minutes and your drinks are still not out. Customers should come first you should have a hostess at that front desk at all times since people sit down they should be at that table taking and drink orders. After we got a different waiter waitress it was pretty good they did take so much off Rob bill and I appreciated that Gmo2272oc
When my husband, I & our Son/Soldier got to the restaurant, we were told it would be a 15 minute wait, but there were booths clean & empty. Our waitresses attitude was short & rude. We got flat soda, Waitress never took our dirty dishes til we were done eating! Had to ask for our biscuits, never got our coleslaw with our fish dinner. Then when we were done eating, she wanted to know & asked if her service was ok & asked about 3 times! My husband & I drive about 3.5 hours to go out to a nice dinner with our Soldier,...it was the worst yet.
I dont normally like Red Lobster but it was really good. Our server was great and very attentive. The food took awhile to come out but it was hot and yummy when it arrived. Nice atmosphere; not too loud so we could hear everyone at the table. Will definitely eat here again
I truly love seafood so why not Red Lobster right. The manager Jessica Carter came around and check on my table to make sure that everything was good while we waited on our food and after we got our food. Jessica greeted us with a smile and was very genuine when checking in to ensure that service was up to part. I will definitely be back and recommend to everyone especially my seafood lovers
Came for lunch with my mom, service was great our waiter was Elisah very friendly and accommodating. However the food wasnt as good the salads were missing tomatoes because they out of them, my shrimp was tasteless. It seems like all the Red Lobsters are going down hill.
1 hour after placing order, we finally got to eat. Waitress told us 3 different times that she was coming back to refill drinks and bring biscuits, but nothing. Half the people at our table got their food while the rest waited for theirs. Finally we get the rest of the food, except my childs. No drink, nothing. We were all beyond irritated to say the least. I understand food can be behind but at least keep your customers happy with fresh drink refills and those delicious biscuits. Worst restuarant experience weve had here in Columbus. Overall food was just ok. Not worth the wait thats for sure. Waitress needs more training! If allowed Id rate 0 stars. Will not return and will make sure my family and friends wont either. Sad.
This place is amazing. The customer service is so great. Our Manager was Tywana Williams and she is great. I cant say enough great things about this lady and this Red Lobster. Our steaks was not cooked the right way and SHE and our WAITRESS noticed and they immediately took care of it. Best place ever and the FOOD WAS SO GREAT!!!! Love this place and thank you Red Lobster for having such great employees.
I took my family to this establishment on Saturday, June 16, 2018, to celebrate fathers day. Everything was nice until a few days later when the transaction posted to my account. Our waitress decided we did not leave her enough of a tip (we never leave them on our cards, we ALWAYS leave cash) & decided to give herself more. I have never been so upset & disappointed. Hopefully this will be resolved without a big hassle. I dont think well be visiting ever again.
My dad went to red lobster to order food to go and 45 min later he finally got to leave. After such a long wait he was ready to get home and what do you know not a sauce or ranch in the bag that we requested. My mom called to complain and the general manager got an attitude and told my mother that she was lying about not getting sauce/ranch (she bagged the food up herself) ......... why would anyone call to lie about getting some sauce/ranch??????? Pathetic service and quality from a suppose to be half way decent restaurant. I remember when red lobster use to be a house hold name and now it just lets mediocre managers run its business in the ground. Don’t waste your time eating here
OMG love the food & server Brittany. My family took me out for my birthday. The service was great especially when we had the same server from March and remembered us. Always served us with a smile and informed us of the status of our order...if you drop by please ask for Brittany you won’t regret it.!!!
Visited this location on Mothers Day. We were able to use the online check in which helped us with the wait a bit, however the service wasnt that great. It took 20 minutes before anyone came to get our drink order. Bread was low, so the server said he had to TRY and get us some because they were fighting over biscuits in the back. It seemed as if they were not prepared for the day at all. The food was good, but we had to ask numerous times for different items to the point where it wasnt worth it and we were ready to go. Given the situation, we knew it would be busy but we didnt know the service would be as subpar as it was.
This was the worst service I have received at a restaurant. Supposedly the kitchen got backed up. It took 40 minutes for the appetizer and 45 minutes for the salad. Server was not attentive or around. Only had 3 tables and couldnt even keep drinks refilled. She never apologized for the delay. After an hour, I spoke with the front of the house manager who said 9 other tables were complaining about ticket times. She stated that the back of the house manager LEFT knowing the kitchen was behind. As a former server and back of the house employee, this is unacceptable. There is no reason for the kitchen to still be backed up when the restaurant is half full. There is no reason for a manager to leave knowing they arent able to fulfill orders timely. We told the manager we werent spending over $100 to wait any longer. Had to leave with 2 kids crying because 1 wanted a refill on a drink that was empty for 20 minutes and another that was hungry and didnt get to eat. We were not the only table around us to complain. It will be a long time before I go back!
Wanted to like it because the staff was so nice but food was terrible. Calamari was very mushy. Crab legs had no flavor to them so I was hoping the butter it came with would help but it didn’t taste like real butter at all!! Was even disappointed with the biscuits. They sell the biscuit mix at Walmart and they always come out great so I was surprised that they were so flavorless at the restaurant. Two stars for the waitress though she was very sweet.
One of the worst experiences at Red Lobster yet. Empty boths and seats when we walked in but still had a 15 minute wait. Soda machine was down. Waitress cared about herself not customers. Had to ask for biscuits and we didnt get them until after we got our food. Was supposed to get coleslaw with our meal, never got it. At the end, the waitress hit on our son to try and get a better tip.
I came here on April 10,2015 and ordered $79 worth of food. A few days later I checked my bank statement and the waiter helped himself to a $10 tip. The manager was notified and she looked into it,and found where he in fact charged me two different prices. She apologized and refunded me the money he stole. I advise people to look at their bank statements and receipts after leaving here. The food is always great, but its hard to enjoy your meal when you have to worry if your waiter/waitress is going to steal from you.
Our baby girl came up from Eufaula (Emily) for her birthday and of course she wanted seafood, she loves Red Lobster. So, we head that way, 6 of us. ALL the waitresses were awesome, they took great care of us. The food was absolutely fantastic, was very surprised. Great job ladies keep up the great work. The manager should be very proud of his ladies and the way the handled this group of six, about half were 50 and above, great job ladies again. See yall again soon!
The service the first time was great, second time was terrible (different server). I had to cancel my next beer being it was taking so long and my friends were ready to leave. The steak was average and the lobster was overcooked, but it was all delicious and I would return again.
Waited over 15 minutes on our server to “appear”, once she did she took our order. From there we waited a good 25 minutes before we received our salads. No biscuits they were in “ the oven” fast forward another 15-20 minutes the bring 3 of the six meals out one of which was incomplete when I told the waitress about this she argued with me it was not incomplete when it was clearly missing part of the entree. Still no biscuits...Enter bar manager who apologizes good 10 minutes go by still missing 3 entrees and still no biscuits. Finally a good 50 minutes into this ordeal we finally get biscuits. They make the kids happy by giving them a free dessert. But this will be the last time we visit this Red Lobster location...
Excellent... Ms. Carol was my waitress tonight. I attend this dinner with my Daughter. When we first got their it wasnt busy and Carol was quick and prompt. But, then the rush came in and poor Carol was hop and popping, with our request and others. Other than that she held her ground and still served myself and daughter well. Great customer service from Carol. She got an A plus on this visit. Customer service like this makes America Great and keeps me coming back for more. Thank you Carol. Me and my Daughter Bre, appreciate your service and I hope the tip was worth your while. Martin
Redeemed! I havent been back to this Red Lobster in a very long time. The last time I was there, I was less than pleased. This time, the food was great, it came out on time, and the server (Anthony) anticipated all of our needs.Red Lobster restaurants tend to get a bad reputation for unknown reasons and by overly critical complainers. NOBODY loves seafood more than me. Ive dined all over the world, I have eaten at 5 star restaurants on occasions and fast food places more often. This Red Lobster restaurant exceeded our expectations tonight and we will be back soon.
Lovely experience. Clean restaurant, friendly and efficient service, and very good food. Living near the coast, I never really think of Red Lobster as a seafood restaurant but they sure excel in other areas, like their scrumptious garlic, cheese biscuits, ceasar salads, and wonderful sides. Their seafood really is good too, just not like the stuff right out of the sea Im use to.
Have to start out by saying how rude and terribly unprofessional the hostess was. My husband and I sat and waited for over 40 mins to be seated and during that time the hostess ate behind the hostess stand, got upset with a patron when he tried to advise on her job performance, then openly talked bad about him when guest could clearly hear her, watched the manager ask her for help to clear tables and she bad mouthed him as well. We watched them sit multiple parties that arrived much later than us so I went to the hostess stand to inquire about that wait and try to understand why we had not been seated and yet again my question was met with a rude remark. By far one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had since I have been in Georgia.
Possibly the end of a chain. My wife and I stopped in for Sunday lunch recently. The whole experience was like watching a movie on how to close a restaurant. The staff seemed engaged but were somewhat unorganized. The hostess only managed one single task at a time and with little urgency. The service was slow and uninformed. Table were delayed in being cleared. The food was average and lacked some noted signature methods, for eg. The baked potato had no salt on the skin which was one of the reasons I ordered the side. Overall the food was ok, but portions were small. The service was average.
What an amazing Red Lobster. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful & the manager was the ABSOLUTE best. We watched him assist an elderly woman cut her lobster, he came & sang (alone) happy birthday to me. The BEST restaurant experience weve ever had. Thank you!!!!!
The service was good. Our waiter was very attentive and addressed ever concern. I think Red Lobster has changed a few key ingredients in some of the dishes we ordered as things tasted completely different. Lobster bisque too sweet, the biscuits were bland, and the ranch dressing tasted watered down
For Administrative Professionals day, myself and 5 others went to Red Lobster at 11:30 a.m. before it got busy. We ordered our drinks and appetizers. We placed our food order about 10-15 minutes later. At 12:35 we were still waiting on our food and were already late returning to the office. The manager comes over (who is super nice) and apologizes stating our server never rang in our food !!!! Well, we cant wait any longer and have to leave. We all returned to work still hungry and feeling extremely disappointed.
Walked in at 8:15. Was sat at a table around 8:35ish. Finally got drinks and waited for at least some biscuits until 9:20 when the manager walked by and asked another table if they were doing okay. They asked for biscuits and the manager brought them some right away. At that point we just left. 100% do NOT reccomend.
It was fine. The servers are catching hell with the Covid. I could have had my glass filled a time or two, that was irritating and it took forever to get butter. Food was fine and I was hungry and thirsty. I drank 2 glasses of water b4 even thinking about tea, that threw her for a loop! Lol
Me and my husband went to Red Lobster tonight for our anniversary dinner. The food was amazing (of course, its never not been when weve gone) but what really made my day was our server! Alexandria was the sweetest. By far the best customer service Ive seen. Ill be calling the manager to rave about her as well.
Will not go ever again. Last 3 times I have gone. They have the worst service ever. Had to wait on bread then when I got it it was cold . Same with the endless shrimp. Cold . Went for a birthday party and it was 10 people and they couldnt even with 2 servers take care of us. 3 and a half hours to eat. And then said sorry and took off 25% . Worst ever . It they where to close that place down . They would be doing Columbus Ga A FAVOR.
Wash Dishes with HOT Water & No Soap! Rarely see cooks wash there hands..Management Cant Manage! Out Dated Yellowish Shrimp being Cooked In Pastas.. Noone knows how to flip pans or even know what pans are for what.. Like putting tomatoes in a metal 9nth pan instead of a plastic one..Thinks dishwater should be used all day without changing!..ReUses bread Pans!
I went there tonight with my fiance. I have not eaten at Red Lobster in at least 20 years. I ordered an appetizer and it came out as my entree. The lobster tail and bisque never came. I guess the kitchen forgot that I had placed an order for food to eat. I was forced to take it home as if it was a to go order. I had the option to cancel my dinner if I wanted. How sweet. I went to Red Lobster to eat lobster. Now I have to eat my food the next day and heat it up in a microwave. Not sure why we were given such crappy service unless they were trying to just turn tables. Never will go back.
The cheddar biscuits were cold and stale. We were hard pressed to get a drink refill. Food was unspectacular. The fish taco shells were chewy, and strange. When the manager came to our table and I hinted at less than excellent faire, my comments were returned with a blank stare. The meal was generally pretty tragic.
We had a great experience at this Red Lobster. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the manager who was very friendly. After we were seated we got a waitress that was the bomb diggity. She was on top of our every need. Then as more patrons came in to the restaurant we wound up doing a lot of waiting. Our bomb diggity waitress began to fizzle. Thanks to the manager Johnny Wells who treated us like family it made the waiting less painful. I always believed that a manager can make or break a business. This manager is definitely a great one.
This was our anniversary and we got the worst service in any restaurant I have been in. We ordered lobsters and was not served any butter with our meal. And to top it off they mixed up our bill with the boot across the isle. And did not refresh our drinks. Will not go back as gain
The restaurant was clean, the tables were far enough away that you didnt feel cramped. The service was great. Seafood iant really my thing so I was glad to find a steak with only a few scallops on a skewer and the rest of my dining party could have the lobster and seafood they loved.
The food was wonderful service was absolutely horrible we were told it would be a 15-minute wait an hour later they still havent clean the table we ended up sitting at and then the one of a kind Indian manager got one of the lobsters out of the tank and showed everyone including me and said he is going to Lobster heaven I dont eat lobster because they are bold alive and I personally think it is cruel if youre going to eat a lobster fine your decision but dont go around showing it to me we got there at 7:30 p.m. on the DOT and did not leave there till almost 9:50 p.m.
So, though our waitress was amazing, the management and hostess at this location are so very rude. I did the waitlist on the app because we were a party of 7. When we got there they told us it did not matter we did that because it was simply to let them know we were coming. It made no sense what so ever and it wasnt what they said it was the way the said it and the attitude they all carried. We question why we go there everytime we decide to go back. The customer service in this location is terrible. The food is never all that great and so overpriced. But I will say our waitress was so sweet and gave us great service.
There is only one reason I am giving this a 4 instead of a 5 - its expensive. My mom and I went on a Monday afternoon when we were counting on it not being busy...it wasnt. We sat at the bar. Full bar, 3 TVs to watch. Brittany, the bartender provided us excellent service. She was smiling, friendly, personable and super efficient. She made a wonderful margarita for my mom, I had wine. Plus it was Happy Hour so our drinks were discounted. The first thing I do before I drink my wine is make sure my glass is clean. A dirty wine glass is so common at restaurants, such a turn off. But my glass was sparkly clean so we were off to a good start. Brittany brought us a basket of those delicious cheddar biscuits to nibble on while we read over the extensive menu. So many choices, it took us quite a while to make up our minds. She was very patient in answering our questions about the different dishes. I opted for the mussels in butter sauce. Its actually on the appetizer list but its really a meal size portion, I almost couldnt finish it. It was awesome. I also had the tomato-mozzarella caprese. It was more of a salad size but also very tasty. Between those two items and the biscuits, it was more than enough. My mom had the endless shrimp, wood grilled. Big plate of shrimp skewers, rice pilaf, and asparagus. What you should know about this dish is that although its endless you will only get 5 shrimp at a time when you ask for more. That could be extremely frustrating during busier hours if you have to wait to get your servers attention each time you want a refill. Its a delish meal but for the price of $15 I think they could at least make the refill 8 or 10 at a time. The environment was clean and neat, noise level and temperature comfortable. All the staff appeared genuinely happy to be working there. The only thing I wish wed done differently is show up earlier because the cheaper lunch specials run from 11am-3pm. So plan accordingly if youd like to save a few bucks. Perhaps if we had known that Id be happy to give this a 5*. Otherwise, mom and I had a fun yummy dining experience.
Took 15 minutes for a drink order so we had time to figure out what we wanted to eat, 15 minutes for our drinks, 20 minutes after our apprltizers, additional 30 for our food and we were missing the sides and the kids food, 15 for the check, and 15 for him to bring my card back.It was horrible!!!!!!!!And my food was freezing, I put it in a box so I can heat it when I go home.
I expected the shrimp to be fresh a delicious. Wasnt even good, I can make better shrimp at home, really. The chicken fingers were like something you get in a school lunch (but thats my fault for ordering chicken at a supposed seafood joint). Plus, the waitress got condescending with me when I asked her if we were still on lunch-time. Wont EVER go back.
I went there on Saturday and the customer service was bad and the food was not cooked well and no flavor. Also she bought the lemons to us with her bare hands. She had high fived a customer earlier and was friendlier to him because he was a regular customer there. I will never eat there again.
Went purposely late on Sunday to avoid the church crowd. Restaurant wasnt full but the hostess was MIA. Finally showed up and got a table. Then the waiter was MIA. Took like 20 minutes to get seated, get our drink order and get our drinks. Food came outo fairly timely and the food was great. They need to work on their service more.
This is the worst Red Lobster I have ever been to! The service was so slow. We got our drinks, but the server forgot to bring straws. I asked a different server for straws, and guess what,STILL NO STRAWS. It took about 30 minutes before I eventually just got up, walked to the bar area and asked the bartender for some. After waiting nearly an hour for our food, my broccoli was still raw,and there was so much salt on everything that me and my mother could barely eat it. I told the waitress but she looked like she was having a bad day as it was. So we just paid and left after only eating 3 bites. $75 WASTED! After returning home to LaGrange, I called the manager to complain about the meal being salty. The manager literally told me that no one else has complained but you. The food comes pre-packaged and pre-cooked so theres no way my cooks did that. Its your taste buds because no one else has anything to say but you. She made me feel like my words did not matter period. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. She offered to mail me coupons, even took my name and address down,I have yet to receive any kind of response from her or corporate. This was 12/20/2017 MY MOTHERS BIRTHDAY! I expected to have have a nice dinner with her,but instead was very disappointed and spent $75 just to return home hungry.

2022-06-20Red Lobster is always a winner in my books. The wait tends to be from 15-30 minutes on high traffic days, especially on Sundays. It is worth it for those cheddar biscuits everyone loves. The salads are fresh and the seafood is delicious. There are kiosks at each table for you to order, pay your bill, request assistance, or entertain yourself with video games. The location manager is diligent in maintaining the environment of the restaurant and the waiters are delightful. This place is service with a smile personified. If you like this review, please like and share it. Have a great day!

2022-04-07Waited in the lobby for nearly 15 and nobody came to greet or told us how much the wait time was… when someone passed by me about u ask if someone is here before I even finish my sentence she said someone will be with you shortly. It would have been nice if she said this the first time she noticed me. The restaurant barely have 3 tables. So it wasn’t busy at all for them to have to make us wait this long

2021-12-16The food was good but the service not so much...first we stood at the greeting station for almost 10 minutes before we were seated.there was only a couple of people in the restaurant.the we asked for sweet tea ...the waiter informed us he had to make some and the biscuits were not available until it was time for us to leave.. so the overall experience pretty much sucked..oh I left out the fact we had to chase down our water, not only for drinks but also to get our check.

2022-02-15The food was excellent. We had the Calamari for an appetizer. My husband had Shrimp. I had a Sirloin Steak. It was the best steak I have had in some time. Cooked to perfection.I was disappointed when I looked at my receipt. I did not authorize a tip but it added one and we left a 15% tip with the waitress. So. If you pay at the table. Dont leave a tip.

2021-08-19Food was great. The server was paying more attention to the 2 men she knew. All we needed was a to go box and pay the bill. I eventually had to call the manager on the phone.

2022-02-12The food and staff were both amazing! We were able to get a seat right away when we got there; there was a bit of a wait for the last parts of our meal, but it was still delicious. If youve got a sweet tooth, make sure to try the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake!

2022-05-10I haven’t been here in sometime and after the visit today I’d probably never come back. Not only was the food sub par but it was cold! We even told the manager and he just said okay. Never had an experience this bad. Our server was great but other than that we pretty much wasted our time and money coming.

2022-01-30Our server was friendly but she was on the struggle bus. Our food came out before our salads. We never would have gotten them had I not asked. My wife never got her dressing. Had to ask for refills. Pray the health inspector doesn’t go in your bathrooms today. Manager on duty, you need to follow up behind your employees and ask your customers about their experience. There’s a reason why there weren’t that many people at your restaurant on a Sunday after church. Really wish I went somewhere else and saved at least $25.
