This hotel is absolutely beautiful and you are directly across the stadium! This is 4 star loved the Alexa in the room and the ability to control lights it makes you feel like you never left home. The one negative you have to stand out in the cold for valet although you’re staying at the hotel. On game day that’s a long line so that’s what they need to do better on!
Pros- hotel was beautiful and clean. Nice vibe at the bar and from the staff. Room was very comfortable. Cons- several lights and amenities in my room were not working. GPS couldnt locate the hotel based on the address. Parking - only valet was offered for the night. $43. Higher than I anticipated. Incidental charges of $75 when you arrive.
Best hotel experience ever!!!! The hotel itself is built like a Holiday Inn, but the decor was very posh and modern. The hotel staff were extremely accommodating. Our room was very swanky. We sat at the bar and had dinner and drinks. The bed was comfortable. The view was nice. The bathroom was open and inviting. It will definitely be my go to hotel in Atlanta.
Had a pleasant weekend stay here for the first time. The views are amazing on the roof top & the gym (both on 11th floor). The rooms are clean and modern, it gives off a nice vibe. The mood lights are only available in white, blue, purple, and red.Self parking is an issue since there arent that many spots available though. The shower didnt have any shampoo/body wash but we made it work.Extra Towels are also provided on the same floor, as well as floss, shaving kits & toothbrushes. They also have extra tea packages, too.Check in was very pleasant as their staff are attentive and knowledgeable about the packages. However, the room I booked just happened to be right underneath the live band and theyre pretty loud.
Overall, I think we would definitely consider coming back to stay here if we are ever in Atlanta again. The lobby has a great vibe to it and the roof top bar is awesome. Only two negatives during out trip. The first was that our clean and unused towels had what seem to be large makeup stains on them, so Im not sure why those are still being placed in the rooms. The other is with the parking; in the e-mail that was sent the week before our arrival, self parking was advertised to be $20. However, when we arrived, we were told that there were only 20 self parking spots (all full at this point) and that we would have to valet for $42. Also, self pay prices were $30 from the numbers advertised on site. Transparency in pricing and that there are only a limited number of spots would go a long way so that guests are not blindsided on additional expenses.
This is a new hotel, very clean and centrally located to everything downtown. No rental car necessary as MARTA transportation, eateries, Uber, arenas and other attractions are all within walking distance.Although the hotel is new, so is all of the surrounding construction in the downtown Atlanta area. It is safe but with high visibility of homelessness. The hotel rooms have amazing showers, advanced technologies and comfortable beds. The room is equipped with an adorable mini fridge, safe and hanging racks for clothes. My only negative would be that although rooms are clean and have enough space for individuals the overall feel.is just an upgrade of a Motel 6 room. However, the carpeted floors and wood bath floors are much more desirable at Reverb.Id definitely stay at this hotel again but not with children.
We really enjoyed this hotel, especially because of Sherrell at the front desk - she was so helpful and sweet! We absolutely adored talking to her and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She deserves 10 stars!!The reason we are giving this hotel 4 is, firstly, we booked this hotel partly because we love rooftop bars and, unfortunately, theirs wasn’t open while we were there. I would have loved to try it. Second, their grab n go options for alcohol were a little overpriced and it would have just been better if we’d brought our own. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!
I arrived March 21st at 2:45pm. I knew check in time wasnt until 3 which was fine. I was never sent a QR code which is what I was supposed to check in with but an employee helped me and was really nice. I sat and waited. 10 after 3, I walked back up to get my key. Employees said to give them a few minutes. I waited until 3:30 and asked for a manager. Anthony was very helpful and got my room key right away but I was still never told why I had to wait 30 min to be able to go to my room. Rocky check in, but the room itself was okay. Great view. Although I would like to suggest you put toothpaste in the bathrooms for guests. Alexa wasnt very helpful. Told me several times that she wasnt programmed to answer certain questions. I purchased a few drinks downstairs and put them in my refrigerator only to find out later that my refrigerator was UNPLUGGED the whole time. The self charging phone charger did NOT work. If youre going to charge over $200 a night and $30 for ONE night of overnight parking, (which I wont even get started on) Im going to need this hotel to do better.
My friend and I stayed here for our spring break trip; this was the first time either of us had ever been to Atlanta. The room was clean when we arrived and the employees were EXCEPTIONAL. They kept smiles on their faces and helped us with anything we needed. It was within a reasonable driving range from all of the large ATL attractions and has a wonderful view of the Mercedes Benz Stadium. I would 100% recommend this hotel for friends and even families!
They do not refund your incidentals when you don’t charge anything to the roomThe room was cute, clean, and modern with a nice view of the Mercedes Ben Stadium. The stay didnt come without issues though. The lights on the bed didnt work well they would occasionally come on and off, the Alexa feature was nice whenever it decided to work, the TV offered the option to cast from your device but it was constantly timing out and there was no way to change the setting so the screensaver would stop showing up. There is no closet, or rather the closet is a modern open concept where anyone can see your clothes hanging as soon as they walk into the room and there is only one drawer for storage. If you plan on staying longer than 3 days be prepared to constantly be in and out of your suitcase because the storage space in the room is limited. The prices for bar food was outrageous especially for what you got, its just wings, or sandwich or whatever else without sides and the price ranged from $15-$25. The rooftop bar area is nice but limited in seating so you have to arrive early if you want to be seated. The bartender was friendly but messed up our drink orders twice.I would recommend the hotel if youre planning a short stay but anything beyond that will become frustrating very quickly.
I haven’t even checked into the hotel room yet because their check in system won’t allow me. I can’t tell you what the rooms look like because the systems can’t properly check you in if you booked through hotel tonight and all the information has to be keyed in by already busy hotel associate. Been waiting to check in for an hour+. It’s truly ridiculous. After traveling all day, one would think a hotel of this size would have an easy check in process. It’s now 1:04am and I arrived at 12:00am and still can’t get checked in.Do better. This is truly unacceptable.
Right downtown but the Mercedes-Benz stadium. There check-in process is slow and a little annoying. Its all self check in and doesnt go as smooth as youd like. Also it was 3 pm check in and our room wasnt ready. We waited 45 minutes and still wasnt ready. Room was cool but half of our lights didnt work and Alexa didnt understand what we were asking. The view from our room was amazing.Great urban hip hop atmosphere with a hard rock vibe to it.
The hotel was great but the staff are what made my 2 week stay feel like home away from home. HUGE shout-out to JACK and RACHEL for being absolute Allstars and accommodating everything I could ask for. Both of them are two of the best people I have met in hospitality in ages. If I could give more than 5*s I would in a second!
This hotel is directly across the street from Mercedes Benz stadium. So if youre planning on catching the game, the location is convenient. The lobby is a pretty cool space, very modern with a bar (kind of sports bar vibe). The rooftop/balcony area was closed which was pretty disappointing. The rooms was very big, quite spacious. Unfortunately there was hair everywhere. At first I noticed it in the shower, but understanding that places are short staff and its a stressful time. I had no intentions of mentioning it. I just splashed it down th drain. However when we pulled the sheets down on the bed preparing for sleep, it was covered in hair. The pillow cases as well. So much, I started to really question if the room had been cleaned.😩. The staff did offer us a new room, but we didnt want to cause a hassle so we just requested new sheets and blankets and we put them on the bed ourselves.I feel like alot of places are really overwhelmed and Im only mentioning this as it was my authentic experience.
Pros: mostly clean, friendly staff, easy check in and out, good food, great locationCons: hair dryer caused bathroom lights to go off occasionally, light bulb in lamp didn’t work correctly, toilet was dirty upon arrival, bathroom trash can was dirty, consistent problems with in-room echo, Dasani machines on multiple floors didn’t work, staff didn’t know where to find aquarium tickets upon arrival, wall light in room did not work, parking garage was sometimes difficult to enter/exit because of valet, bathroom door did not closeWhen we first arrived, we informed staff of dirty toilet and an issue with the bathroom door closing. Housekeeping was sent to our room within fifteen minutes and cleaned most surfaces in the bathroom again. Once nothing was done about the bathroom door closing, it seemed pointless to talk to staff about the other issues that continued to arise during our short stay.
Overall, it wasn’t bad a bad stay for just one night. My biggest issue was the A/C, my room claimed to be at 64 degrees at all times but it simply was over 72 degrees at all times if not more. My second biggest issue was the parking, you have to pay 30 dollars a day to self park, and they don’t tell you this until you get there but there’s only 20 self parking spots available. So if all 20 are filled, you’re forced to overpay for stupid valet. Lastly, the shower. The water pressure was mediocre and the hot water for a nice hot shower was luke warm at best. The staff was either really overly friendly or flat out rude. The good: beautiful views and a lovely room. A perfect location if you want a hotel in downtown Atlanta, but I paid over 200 dollars for one night it felt extremely lackluster overall.
Great location to stay for the Mercedes Benz stadium. We stayed for the Coldplay concert. Overall 4/5 stars because there is no real 24/7 dining, the roof closes at 10 and the food options are extremely expensive, limited interaction with a real person, and $30 a day to self park is a bit of a rip after spending $900 for two nights. Also, the smart features of the room (Alexa) are a gimmick. None of the smart commands worked and the light controls were very intermittent and delayed. The TV also didn’t stay off, so we had to unplug it as it kept waking us up. The Dyson water machine was a nice feature.
The customer service was just horrible. The room itself looks like it was furnished from Home Goods. The parking deck smells like garbage bc that’s where they store old cooking oil. There’s trash and old construction materials everywhere. The elevators were broken, and the staff was literally so rude. There’s no front desk or anyone to talk to about an issue. Would literally rather stay in a tent than stay here again. Just awful, overpriced, and worst of all, so so ugly!
Overpriced and clearly they are out to gouge a customer on a concert day. You also have to do everything as a guest. You check yourself in and out and the staff is not helpful. You literally have to grab your own extra towels and blankets from a “amenity closet.” You can’t call the valet to bring your car around etc… Water in the room was cold when i showered. Called maintenance and they told me it was because lots of people are using the water. For $700 a night I would expect more.
This stay is way below par for the cost. Upon arrival encountered issues with room being ready - it was after 5pm at this point for a 3 pm check in. Water from sink in the room was a dark grey color. Needed to have sheets changed, called at 3pm left the hotel, returned at 8 pm and yes, as you thought same unmade sheets. They brought sheets after the fact with the expectation that we change the sheets ourselves. All in all, I rarely complain and I consider myself low maintenance but this was way below my expectation for a Hard Rock Hotel that again was not cheap.
Booked and was charged for a room on a high floor (floor 7 and above) we were placed on floor 5, which had a cheaper rate. Checked in very late, got into our room to find it was dirty, called down to the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do because it was so late so they took $45 off the bill, not even 10% of the stay. I called the hotel to ask about this after my stay and was told there was no manager who could assist me. I asked how long it would be to speak to one, the staff said “not sure” then placed me on hold. I stayed on hold for 20 minutes and then the line was disconnected. I called back and spoke to someone in reservations who told me “there was a problem with the system and that to resolve my issue I needed to go to the Hotel and speak to someone” I live in South Carolina, can’t just pop by the hotel! Absolutely horrid customer service and the GM posting on reviews without offering to solve any customer concerns is a clear example of how the staff treats your issues.Dear Cesar Serna,Your response doesnt help the fact that I was OVERCHARGED for a room. How is that going to be resolved, or are you just keeping my money?Tara
The check-in process was a mess. I had pre-paid for my room 2 months in advance. I was staying for my daughters cheerleading competition. When I arrived at the hotel I was told at 3 o’clock we would get access to our rooms. At 3 o’clock they just started creating the room keys and distributing. When they started creating them, they went in alphabetically order (I’m a W last name) even though we had been waiting since 2 to get access to our room. Finally at 3:30, I went over to speak to someone at the hotel and ask for a room key. At 4:00 o’clock I finally got a room key, went to the room, wrong room. I had booked two queens, they gave me a room with one king. So I had to go back down to the front desk and get a new room. Finally, at 4:45 I got a new room and it was correct. The whole stay could have been great. Room was nice, hotel was clean, but the chaos and how disorganized the hotel management was, was extremely disappointing. The worst part is they could had 5+ people just standing around prior to 3 o’clock that could have been setting rooms up and fixed the entire debacle.Definitely won’t be staying here next year for cheer competition.
A lot of hype for this hotel but did not live up to it. One of the promoted features was Alexa enabled room features. Since the Wi-Fi never worked, this was not available. The room was modest at best. In our room, the smoke alarm was removed. The sheets were dirty when we arrived. There was hype about Coca-Cola freestyle machines available on each floor but these were not working. Moreover, there was not access to ice or water on these levels. In order to purchase various items, food, or other amenities in the lobby, there was a self-service kiosk which was not intuitive and would take 3 to 5 minutes per transaction with long lines. And there was only one kiosk available. I will say that the valet service was exceptional - they did a great job. Overall, there was a lot of hype but did not deliver.
Self -serve contactless not for me! Kitchen closed and it is unknown by staff if and when it might reopen. Small area for you to buy snacks at an $20 for 2 bottle cokes and 10 Doritos and cookie! You have to scan and check out yourself. Not sure what the staff gets to do other than look bored out of their minds and nothing to do! I did talk to the bartender the next morning and he was cool. He said its Poppin on certain days!! But hey location, location location! I loved the architecture, lighting, etc. I wouldnt recommend for the older less tech savvy generation.
In theory this seems like the perfect hotel but most of the technology doesnt work concurrently with everything else. The smart phone charger doesnt really charge fast and the beds have lights around them which dont go out. You can wakeup from just someone going to the restroom because they are motion detected. The TV can be controlled by the wifi which means anyone can turn on your TV. The beds are hard and so are the towels. The service is decent but the accommodations on the floor were also empty. There is also no side counters next to your bed to have a more modern design. If you want to stay in Atlanta for the night do not stay here. Personally I dont like that it was super hard to get all the lights to go off in the room. The only thing good is the location to the stadium but this hotel doesnt even have a microwave on sight. The hotel aims to be tech savvy and bring appeal with the in house studios but there isnt anything outstanding about it except the looks.
Called day before and was told I would be able to check in early as long as I call about an hour ahead of our arrival so they could prepare the room. Check in is 3 PM so I called at about 1:30 saying we would only be 30 minutes early and I was informed that it wouldn’t be possible because there wasn’t rooms available. After arriving to the hotel at 2:50 I went to check in and was told again that rooms were not available although we had reservations which was very confusing. We were told to wait until 3 in which we did. 3 rolls around and rooms still are not available. We are told to give them 10-15 minutes to check on rooms and they would let us know. 3:30 arrives and we still have not heard from anyone about our room or any update. Finally after asking again they asked what kind of room we had booked. I told them at this point we would take anything available because we had a meeting to get to. Finally we get checked into a room smaller than we originally had planned at 4:00 with no reimbursement.Rooms were great, clean, and spacious. Bed very comfortable and lots of channels on tv.Room experience was great, check in process needs work. May be due to understaffing of house keeping. But no one could get a room until 4, an hour after check in even with reservations.
I didnt stay, I made reservations and wanted to check in around 9am, and they let me book it for that time. They decided to make my check in time for 3pm to 4pm. I didnt have the option to change that time because the late email they sent. I decided to cancel and they told me I would still be charged, even though I didnt stay there and the fact that no rooms were available, never again! But nevertheless it looked nice in lobby
I was really disappointed. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time here. The room doesn’t look as nice in person, it’s more like a dorm room. PLUS the bed frame was chipped (they have clear tape over it, it looks super raggedy) there was a faint period blood stain on our bedding, and the couch was ripped in multiple areas. Also, the customer service is VERY poor. I will never come here again and do not recommend. I’m giving 2 stars because the location is nice.
Stayed at the reverb over the weekend it’s a very nice hotel, great location. the valet guys were very nice and friendly the parking was super easy. the staff at the downstairs bar while welcoming the crew-members at the check-in station were also very helpful. Anthony helped us check-in , & even gave us a mini tour of the hotel! the hotel room itself is very spacious and clean. It has a walk in nice shower and an Alexa. The view was nice & the room even had a mini hidden fridge. We ate lunch at the downstairs bar, the food was good and fresh. The Caribbean guy who works in the morning at the bar downstairs very nice and welcoming he makes greats coffee ! the only downside to the room was the thermostat controls was very confusing on how to change the temperature it was either too hot in the room or extremely cold. Plus the tv in room wouldnt turn off completely it would always turn back on on its own.?The rooftop bar was also nice a nice skyline view of the city. The rooftop food was okay 7/10. The only downside of this hotel is that our keys stopped working out of nowhere and the guy at the desk couldn’t reprogram them so he had to use his master key to let us in that room mind you it was 3 AM when this happen! The room next-door to us had dirty linen and towels and a bag of trash that just sat there in front of the door the entire two days we were there. The hallway carpet was wet our entire stay near the entrance of the elevators on our floor which they did have industrial fans blowing the whole time. The overall stay was decent.I would definitely come back 7/10!
Very friendly stuff we felt very welcome to Atlanta. Clean rooms safe and convenient. This hotel is very special it makes old southern style with new Atlanta. It’s a must in the city of Atlanta. Rooftop bar is special for any event ! So if you need to stay in a hotel in Atlanta come here. Recommend!!
From. Trying to find it to a $40 vallet charge before you walk in. Everyone was confused by check in and which computers were for what. The point of a hotel is to relax not have to check yourself in and give all your personal infoOnly one of three elevators were working. And if you are trying to sleep on the low to the ground beds before night look luck the rooms are very bright.
I went here for a networking meeting the lobby area is amazing it has wonderful spots that are very picturesque and look good for a quick photoshoot. the food was good definitely get the vegan chili! The staff was friendly and I was able to sit there for about 6 or 7 hours to work on my business with no problems. the parking is ridiculous its like $20 per hour Definitely Uber!
Hotel canceled the prepaid booking when we reached there to check-in stating they were under staffed and could not have the rooms cleaned on time. This was 11pm in the night and they did not provide any prior notification about it. After going back and forth they finally were able to give me room and it was after the wait for 3hrs. This was just the start of the mess that was about to start. After reaching to the room we found room was filthy and there were no basic amenities like shampoo etc. It took them more to 18 hrs to send house keeping to take care of everything. Guys who work there were good specially Josh and one more guy I don’t remember his name and they tried their best to find the solution for us but people above them were the cause of the problem and they will take this hotel down the drain. Horrible experience over all.
Disappointed. Called this location to watch divisional games. The person who answered said they were trying to get the games on now. This was 30 min into one of the best games in the history of football. We get there, pay $15 to valet, for the rooftop bar. A woman tells us where to go and says, someone should be up there. Its 4pm. She never mentions that the rooftop doesnt open til 5pm. We leave. A waste of time and money. Zero customer service and energy around serving clientele.
This was a very disappointing experience overall. From check-in it was a complete disaster. We spent 45 minutes checking in and with an event happening in the downstairs lobby we had to force by because everyone was standing in the middle of the walkway with drinks in hand. The staff in charge was overwhelmed and took the frustration of it on us as the guests choosing to ask us to wait and ignoring us when we asked for updates. The sink water was coming out extremely cloudy and when we asked for our sheets to be changed they claimed that someone would come, no one came. We left for 5 hours and came back to no change. After asking again they came by with sheets for us to change ourselves. I had to question whether it was an Airbnb or a hotel. For the cost and expectation, this was a bad experience and I will definitely not be returning.
The rooftop bar… What we appreciated… the view and a cheaper bill and double pour drink for all the hassle and screw up. It’s nice when they try to do something after something goes awry. Here’s the issue… the bar was pretty empty, maybe 15 people including our party of three? There was zero sense of urgency. It took roughly 20 minutes for three drinks. My aperol spritz was just aperol and soda. Then, we ordered a dirty martini. After he started making it told us they had no olives. 🤷🏻♂️ So, no dirty martini then? Staff seems slow and undertrained. You need to know cocktails well to man a bar. Two bartenders and a bar back should be faster and more knowledgeable. Overall it was okay, we probably wouldn’t return.
The hotel itself is beautiful, clean. The check in is very complicated and no instructions or assistance provided. Moreover I have never received a receipt for my stay although I’ve been writing multiple emails. It’s a requirement to provide the receipt and I need it as I stayed at the hotel for work conference. I would not choose the hotel again.
Staff is lazy mediocre. My body wash dispenser was empty . Multiple times couldnt find anyone downstairs or to answer the phone . Rooftop closed on weekdays . The cost isnt worth it . Only good this is aesthetic and convenience of everything is near by but honestly you can find that at a better near by hotel . Breakfast , food in general is expensive
Cool rooftop bar. Food is not that great. Only one bar on top and you have to fight to get drinks. In terms of the response:It has been the same service at the bar for the past two years. Yes the view is nice. That is the only thing that makes up for the poor bar service. To wait 30 mins and hope that the bartender choses to make your drink is not cool. Maybe offer clients to go to another floor then come back because yawl can not handle more than 100 people with two bartenders and one bar back. This was my third visit. Its always the same. Lets change this PLEASEEEEE!!!
The hotel crew definitely was the best part of the stay. The room had a nice view and the beds were comfortable. However there isnt any hot water for showering really it barely gets warm. The Alexa room companion did its best but it was a disappointment since it goes off iHeartRadio so it cant play any specific songs you request. My mother got rather frustrated with it after a few tries to get a certain song to play.
The hotel is awesome, staff very cordial, and location is great! Only problem is billing which still is not correct. I was initially billed $671, and billed again for $534. The correct amount should have been $534. I have spoken to the staff 3 times and this still isnt corrected. It has taken up a lot of my time and has overshadowed my overall good experience. I wish someone from the hotel would correct this mistake.
I stayed here February 8th-10th. The hotel is beautiful, conveniently located. But the staff is what made it special. The 2 workers at the front desk were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond for me and my friend. (It was a man and a woman working at 11am together on the 10th I unfortunately didn’t get their names) When ever I’m in Atlanta again I will absolutely be staying here.
OMG this place was amazing I loved it it had a nice lobby with a bar and food on each floor was an amenity closet, came with a rooftop bar and pretty nice views all around. Close to Mercades Benz stadium and GWCC . Also close to attractions and anywhere you need to get to. The room was amazing came with a couch by the window a tabel to sit at a desk, a multi color light, an Alexa, and a flat screen TV, the bathroom was very nice came with makeup wipes, makeup towel and shower conditioner, shampoo and body wash. Highly recommend coming was amazing. For our competition they had a special menu for food and gave us lanyards for us which I thought was a great idea will come again if possible.
I was suppose to stay here for my birthday last year which was in August of 21. I didnt get a chance to make due to an family emergency. My debit card was still charged even though I didnt make it. So I took that loss then due to not cancelling in time. Now February 26 of 2022 I noticed that my account was overdrawn. I checked my recent transactions and I noticed I was charged again from this hotel THAT I WAS NO WHERE NEAR NOR DID I VIST ON FEBRUARY 26 OF 22. I immediately contacted my banking institution to cancel my cards. And they are doing a fraud investigation. So obviously someone working their is stealing peoples information. They even tried opening a wells Fargo account as well. Smh! Please be aware of your banking information if you do visit this hotel.
When checking in it is mostly automated with someone there to assist you. This lady assured me I would not be billed, and all they needed my card for was incidentals. Even when i said “then why is the full amount on my screen, are you sure? Work wont reimburse me if it ends up on my card, you need to bill them for the room with the card on file…” she assured me, two different times so I reluctantly agreed to everything on the screen. Later in the evening I double checked with someone else, and it was set to only bill ME grrrr. They apparently fixed it in the system and I was all set. This was after my work had called multiple times before check in—the day of and multiple days before…with no response…. Well now i checked out 3 hours ago and guess what, I was billed directly. And they wont answer phone when i call billing and the phone system for front desk sends me in big loop and then it just starts the loop over instead of even transferring me. Room was great, but staff also couldnt help me with finding a bus station (even though i found it myself right in front of hotel), and is 1/2 mile to nearest Marta train (which is alot with luggage). Worst charcuterie board ive had from the rooftop bar, had to throw it out. There was a sparkling water fountain in hall which was nice except its hands free-just scan the barcode— except u cant use it if anyone else used it recently (says its signed into another device anytime i tried to use it). Light next to bed was broke, mini fridge in the bench didnt work.
They came in clutch!!! We were stranded in The ATL and everything was booked for the night.... except... Reverb Hard Rock... they let us check in very late night early morning. The service was excellent. The room was really nice and the beds super comfy. Obsessed with the color changing wall light!!! Lmao... could do without the motion sensor recess lights under the bed lol. Too much light lmao. I love that they have an amenities closet where you can help yourself to extra towels, sheets, toiletries, coffees, teas and the best... AHA water!!! I love seltzer water and AHA is one of my faves... they have a dispenser and I think thats beautiful 😍 lol. The little things make me happy.I love that they have an Alexa system in the room for music... and I lived the rum soap.I didnt care much for the available food in the hotel. The bar was awesome tho.Def a great place to stay if you in the ATL. Closed to the football stadium, coca cola world, Mercedes Stadium and The Varsity!!! Close to everything.
We got to the this hotel after driving about 9 hours and we pre payed for this room and I have recipes. They did not have are reservation on their book. After we called multiple times and confirmed this reservation before hand. The staff hasn’t been helpful. They suggested that we wait till 4am to see if there is an opening. 0/10
Stay away!! Customer service for reservations is a joke. They would not help with a refund nor let me speak with a manager! Hotels dot com and this place’s customer is LACKING!!! I had to keep calling until I reached a competent person with critical thinking skills to help me at Hotels dot com. Be wary if you have an unforeseen emergency!!!
Booked using AMEX travel and was told I was bumped to another hotel because they didn’t have the staff to clean the rooms. Had to spend three hours on the phone with AMEX to find out the Reverb just cancelled the reservation and never booked us anywhere. Currently stranded in Atlanta at 2 AM. Nice work.
The hotel is very nice and very clean, however the night that I stayed the hot water was out the entire night. I was told it would only take 30 minutes to get it back up and running but it never came back on for my stay. I told the staff when I checked out and was told a manager would be notified. I haven’t heard anything and when I called to speak to a manager about it, I was sent to an already full voicemail so I could not even leave a message.
If youre going to the stadium or the arena its the place to stay. Its not the Ritz, but the amenities are convenient, the walk to your event is measured in minutes and Jerry the bartender kept the bar and barfood open late so we could finish our post concert celebration....thanks Jerry
Came for the new rooftop bar. Stayed for 2minutes because the bar tender is extremely rude and off putting. She had an attitude for no reason whatsoever and experienced her talking extremely rude to the black and brown folks but treating the white folks like gold.I know places do this to discourage black folks from coming so I shoulda stayed but I didn’t feel like it today.
Was not impressed with my recent stay. The decor and hotel was really beautiful and the location was very convenient but it was really short staffed. They were missing some basic amenities. I could not even charge my car overnight.Hope after the pandemic is over they bring back its charm.
Nice hotel. Very clean and modern. One star because of one employee only. Was “greeted” if you want to call it that by a lady named Chanel. Probably one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I simply asked for an explanation of the room charges and she became agitated and argumentative. She then abruptly walked away as she said “I am done with you.” She then continued to talk badly about me across the entire lobby. Emma came over and was very courteous and friendly. Maybe management should rethink who they have working in a guest facing role. Chanel is probably better suited working where he doesn’t have to interact with guests.
Excellent customer service from every employee I encountered. I complained about my food being cold but the kitchen just closed. The bartender said “I’m about to ask the chef if he can warm them” and Chef Winston Gordon said “I got y’all and went out his way to remake our food over”. When I visit ATL again I will definitely stay at this hotel.
Not a fan. Im annoyed that zero stars wasnt an option. My first room didnt have cold water. It took me 29 minutes to get that point across, then another two hours (and three more rooms ) to solve it. However, I was unaware of that since the assoc that went ahead to check on it never called me, or came back to the room that I had been left in. When I called down to get a status, there was no answerIt took three tries before another guest answered the phone and phone an associate for me. Turned out that he was the one that left me waiting for help in the first place.Tv lost its signal 11 times before I called. oh really? Ill have to get an engineer to call you back. Given that it was well after midnight, I in plugged the phone and got ready for bed30 minutes later, the signal returnedPhone charger only worked in one of the four rooms I was in and isnt where you could reach it from bed. The phone is on a short cord next to the phone charger. The room is nice...but odd. Theres a desk, but no chair. Theres a vibe of an ottoman, but a bit low for the deskHowever it can fill in for the missing nightstand, since theres only a ledge on top of the panel which makes a headboard. The fridge is a small drawer under the luggage rack. The AC struggled. There are no instructions for anything, including that youre expected to make your own keys. The only benefit of staying here is that its a short walk to the stadium. That does NOT make up for its shortcomings, especially at the premium price.
The reverb is the best, comfy, vibrant and welcoming. Rep Chanel is a super star, she went above and beyond to ensure that we had the adequate accommodations for our stay and Devonte greeted and provided us an outstanding service. You guys are the reason why I will keep coming back !Your service is the best !Thank you all for everything.
My review is about the rooftop restaurant only. The rooftop was beautiful and the views of the city and stadium are unmatched creating a great vibe. In terms of quality, drinks were good and strong. However, they could work on their cleanliness. I had to return two drinks because the glasses were dirty including one with fresh lipstick on it. Additionally, their food ordering service is unclear and didn’t really make sense. The staff was nice but having a better ordering system could have stopped some service issues we had.
Ive stayed here twice, and both times have been great stays. Good views of Mercedes Benz stadium from my room. The rooftop bar is my favorite thing about the Reverb. These days, its nice to have an opportunity to socialize outside. The inside bar in the lobby is very fun as well. Both hotel rooms were clean, modern, and minimalistic. I met mayor Kasim Reed here during a fundraising event so that was pretty cool.
The hip vibe at this hotel is well thought through for millennial guests. The room was ultra modern and fun. HOWEVER, that does not make up for the following: no soap in the bathroom, no toilet paper in the bathroom, horrendous construction noise outside, loud music at night and poor excuse for a gym. Good food at the bar. All-in-all...skip the snazzy vibe and go for a hotel where you can relax and not have to chase down the basics such as toilet paper and soap.
I had a horrible experience please dont go there. They are still building and quit a few things were noticed by me while visiting. The cold water takes 10 minutes before turning cold. The heat does not work at all only cool air comes out on all degrees you put it on. The carpet needed cleaning. I was move 3 times because of issues. One of the rooms had a bed bug in the draw and it was removed by Anthony the manager and of course he had to move me again. Anthony was fabulous and know how to treat and greet him customers. Anthony was the only good about my visit at the Reverb. I might add the staff did treat me very nice.
Amazing and spacious location !!! Staff is always on point with Grade A customer service !!! I recommend All natives and visitors to come out and enjoy this Magnificent Hotel and Bar !!! The Reverb @ Hard Rock is definitely the “It” spot in Atlanta , Downtown !!!💯💯💯💯💯
First there was a mixup with my reservation. Then when I got my room the electricity on one side of the room was out. When I did receive a new room the sink in the bathroom sprayed out everywhere which caused me to have to change and almost be late for convention. Staff never emptied any of my trash and when I called staff was rude and told me to just put it outside my door and stick my dirty towels under the sink. At the end of my stay when I went to check out staff was extremely rude and cut me off from explaining my issues and concerns. I wish I could have stayed somewhere else. This was one of the most horrible experiences I have had in a long while. And I feel like a paid to get mistreated. I will NEVER recommend anyone to stay here
I absolutely loved this hotel! We checked in about 3pm, (valet parking advised)check in was a breeze, all staff was polite and helpful. We dropped our luggage off in our room and walked down to Centennial Olympic Park grabbed a bite to eat(inexpensive). There were plenty of motorized bicycles and scooters for rent if desired also. BTW the Reverb Hard Rock Hotel is directly across the street from the Mercedes Benz Stadium, literally walking distance so we checked out Sunday morning before the 1pm Falcons game. The valet brought our car down got so we could load our luggage into it, and took it back to the hotels parking garage! The hotel staff informed us our car was safe with them during the game, until 6pm. After the game with no questions asked, we gave them our valet ticket, received our car and hit the road back to Louisville, KY!! THE TRIP WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT FROM THE HOTEL AS WELL AS THE GAME 😁 I HAVE ZERO COMPLAINTS!(also they have a lounge on the roof of the hotel ❤)
I love this hotel. The rooms are spacious, super clean, and come with amazing views of the city. The staff is so nice, informative, and attentive to your needs even the valet men (who I really like) are the most respectful group of men I’ve ever met. I also love how the rooms has Alexa so whatever you need she’s there, especially if you run out of hygiene products, she will tell you how to get to your floor’s amenities closet so you can get whatever you need. I’m seriously in love with this hotel from the decor to the staff to just its overall vibe. The ONLY downfall I will say is the rooms have no mini refrigerators to store things and also no microwaves. Other than that, it’s hotel is really worth the stay.
No customer service, best experience I had was the bartender JP.the kiosk are as if your completely on your own. No explanation provided no guidance from staff. No microwaveNo iceNo water machineNear nothing at allMattress was poor qualityThe temperature is not easy to regulate in your own roomAll this money trying to look cool, not a lot of time taken in consideration to the actual stay. And lastly the music in the lobby, is not diverse at all.
Currently I have been here since 11 am waiting for a room and is currently 1650. Staff is positive but infrastructure is horrible. My card has been charged and I have yet to receive a room. There has been no resolution and for the price its not worth it.I would suggest another property.
The rooftop bar has a beautiful view. Although the staff was nice, the fact that there is no traditional waitstaff is a let down. Having to get up and go to the bar for every drink, to order food, etc. is annoying. The food is okay. Drinks REALLY depend on who makes them, but they tend to be on the weaker side. Nice spot for the view and ambiance.
The room was nice but the service from the staff is absolutely terrible. I really dont like leaving bad reviews but I had to for this one. I was told I would be paying about 160-$170 total for my stay and that I would have to pay a deposit of $75 dollars to reserve my room. I got to Atlanta early and I tried checking in at 2am the day for which I had reserved which was Oct. 13-14th. I wasnt able to check in until 9am that morning and thankfully I had a studio session I was able to attend in the meantime. It has been already 2 weeks and I still havent been able to receive my deposit back. I have called plenty of times to the hotel to many different departments to resolve this matter and I havent been able to receive any kind of help at all. I either get transferred to a voicemail that hangs up on you automatically or I get placed on hold and sent a busy signal. This is incredibly frustrating because I enjoyed my stay but it seems as soon as they get your money you mean nothing to them.Good luck trying to get these folks to answer your phone calls for customer support after you check out.Im going Air-Bnb next time. ✌🏼
This hotel was one of the best hotels Ive stayed in. The staff was amazing. Like amazing! Not one problem with the staff at all. They were friendly, gave suggestions on things to do, just superb service. Before leaving for vacation I was a bit hesitant due to the fact that I saw a swarm of bad reviews in regard to (cage free eggs) . I feel that we cant take away from the staff that does an amazing job at the hotel due to the personal views of a different aspect. My only real issue was the parking. I was not impressed by the parking at all. Also I think its a great hotel for a girls trip or with your significant other. Not so much a hotel for kids. The view I had from my room was completely amazing. I would recommend and plan to stay again.
Check-in process was a disaster. There is no actual person greeting you like any other hotel where Ive stayed; its a tablet that is supposed to check you in, and you have to make your own key card. In my case, the tablet told me I would be texted when my room was ready but that never happened. When I tried to make my key upon arriving back at the hotel, two staff members took more than 10 minutes trying to figure out the computer system and still could not assign me a room. They ended up just opening the door to the room and letting me in. Then, upon checking out, my card was charged but I never got a receipt. When I tried calling the billing department for a receipt, it kept going to voice mail and the voice mail box was full. In 12 years of traveling for business, this was my worst experience at a hotel.
My husband and I decided to stay here at The Reverb/Hardrock Hotel for his birthday trip to Atlanta. Not sure if would not stay here again. Disappointed because the bar closed early despite stating they were open to 11pm. Bartender closed at 10:15pm! Really? Wondering if this was the staffs decision at this establishment or a decision of The Reverb? Not customer-friendly! As a tourist, I want to enjoy the bar at my hotel. Guess I will go spend my $$$ somewhere else. Like the adult vibe, but their concept of self-service needs work or is not fully functional. Newer hotel, great location central to downtown Atlanta. Environment, rooms are clean.
The rooms were very nice, modern, and clean! The hotel is within walking distance of a lot of the Atlanta attractions, which was nice and the views were amazing! There were several downsides to our stay. The food options were very limited at the hotel also seemed to take forever to be prepared. The hotel was often crowded with people coming from concerts or games from the stadium across the road which made it difficult to enjoy the bars and common areas. The customer service of the hotel staff was mediocre at best, they seemed more concerned with chatting and joking with one another than helping the guests. Overall, I would probably stay here again for a short trip but I would definitely look at other options before committing.
We were in town for a concert that started at 7. Check in time is 3, we arrived around 5, was told they didnt have any roo.s available yet, didnt get into our room until 620! Ordered food while we waited that came out cold. Beds were hard. Was told we would be compensated for the inconvenience, which we were not. Overall terrible experience. Pretty hotel though
Bars close to early and you pay way too much money for the Nazi’s to chase you around about wearing a face mask. Follow the science doesn’t apply here. Current rooms aren’t prepared properly. Have to constantly call room service which takes forever. Decent rooms but Not worth the money when you can stay half mile down the street for a lot less. Absolutely NOTHING around here within walking distance to do once the bar closes at a ridiculously early 11pm. Bars have few TVs to watch anything if you want to and the staff makes it obvious they don’t care and are only there to catch a paycheck. All good if this was a La Quinta
Its OK in general. It is nowhere near as nice as any of the other Hard Rock properties Ive stayed at. Ive been to Hard Rock owned hotels around the country and I am surprised that the Hard Rock would put their name on this building. Its basically a tier 1 hotel with hard rock branding stamped on it. When in downtown Atlanta,.Id stick to either the W in midtown or downtown as they are the only 2 which are closest in comparison to traditional Hard Rock hotels.
I am not one to leave bad reviews, but everything about our experience at this hotel was not worth the price they charge. From not having enough parking to accommodate actual guests staying at the hotel, having to wait an hour after check in time just to get our room, and rude bartenders at the rooftop bar. This hotel is filled with people enjoying the amenities while not paying for a room, meanwhile people paying $$$ to stay are left lacking. One of the worst hospitality experiences we’ve had, quality of the room was good but does not make up for a poorly managed/ran hotel.
We paid over $400 a night here hoping that because of the price it was going to be worth our stay. We arrive at 3pm as we had been told check in was at 3pm, they said our wasnt ready and that MAYBE one more hour. I was supposed gonna get a text message or email telling when my room was gonna be ready. I ended up going to complain 4 time until I finally got my room. A friend of ours didnt get his room until after 11pm. When we left the hotel we stop to get breakfast and the first thing I did was to check my truck and noticed that it had been scratched due to the overnight valet parking. Its not a big scratch but its definitely something that wasnt there when we arrive the day before. I also notice we werent the only ones that had damages... Although the room was very clean and neat the service was not worth me paying $400. Ive pay an average of 200 with a great room, service, and good check in timing. They expected us to leave by 11am and werent prompt on giving us our room.
The room was reserved online. When we arrived, there was an issue with their card reader. The person running the card lied, saying it was declining. They refused to manually enter the number on the card for 20 minutes. When someone who knew what they were doing finally showed up, they manually entered the number and it went through just fine. Giving more than one star because the room was great and the location is nice, but not worth the hassle and judgement by inexperienced and rude staff. Manager wasnt any more pleasant, but at least recognized that the card reader wasnt working.
Very clean with stylish comfort. The staff was extremely friendly and they go above and beyond to ensure all areas are in Covid compliance. Im extremely impressed by all the measures they have taken from temperature check as you enter the lobby, only 4 people to an elevator. Each room has a safe + secure sticker sealing the door after its been cleaned. This company has gone above and beyond. I havent felt this comfortable in a public place since before the pandemic. Food and drinks were very good and convenience to attractions was great. Highly recommended Reverb Atlanta!
I hate leaving bad reviews, honestly, I never leave reviews but I hope this is helpful for people traveling with children. I will start off by saying the hotel is very nice and the staff was friendly and accommodating. For the price you pay, you should be able to utilize every amenity the hotel offers. From the rooftop bar, to the hotel grab and go bar area. BOTH are very overcrowded with people not staying there. I understand this is probably how they make a lot of their revenue but after we paid for our room, valet and food/drinks we were close to $500 for the night which is a lot of money to be confined to your room. Truthfully, there were more people in and out headed to the rooftop bar area or hanging out in the lobby bar area then actually staying there. Just creates a completely different atmosphere geared towards “single ready to mingle.” In addition, be mindful of the package they offer for a one night stay plus two adult tickets to the GA aquarium. This was a total fluke, as you have to make a reservation AFTER you purchase the package. Sadly, they’re usually booked out several days in advance which means no GA aquarium. Hopefully they can work on a better system if this is something they will continue to offer.
Horrible evening bartenders on 5/15/2022 & the chefs who brought out & removed my friends grad party food items were very rude when telling us their horrible policy of not being able to give out to go containers, or allow you to take leftover food items that you have paid for & they had out a drink menu that wasnt 100% correct with wine prices, the drinks are extremely way too expensive, so you pay for poorly made drinks after the bartenders (ladies) FINALLY took your order, along with poor customer service, AND they took away half my friends reserved space by booking another party in space she had reserved well on advance.........
This is the only hotel I ever been to that didn’t have a microwave on the whole premises….When I called and asked how much parking would be they told me $20, for my stay for 2 nights for self parking, when I got there they said they had ran out of self parking and the valet parking would be $40 a night. I’m LIVID!I chose to stay here because of the rooftop bar and I never got to experience it because I came on Monday-Wednesday, But they’re open on Thursday to Sunday… I would suggest that they close that whack bar that they have downstairs down and open the rooftop bar and give the people a little ambience for the high prices they charge for the lackluster food/drinksLastly, even though the room was nice, it had no microwave and The television cable connection constantly went out.I’m very displeased with my stay…
This isnt the most expensive hotel in Atlanta, but its definitely not among the less expensive. In a 3 star hotel Id expect some basic amenities, and Reverb hotel is lacking. While the fancy room is nice and the rooftop bar has a nice view, that is the end of the pros at Reverb.Lets start at the beginning, check in. I booked with Reverb on booking.com and paid in advance to make check in as quick as possible. We all hate standing there awkwardly with our bags in a hotel lobby when we first arrive. Not only does Reverb not have seamless integration with online payments, they tried to charge me for my room twice on their check in tablet system. Then I had to pull out my credit card again so they could charge a $75/day hold for any purchases I planned to make, not only is this the highest hold Ive ever heard of, unless you use valet there is very little chance youll use this money which makes it unecessary. You use Alexa to contact the hotel staff for any questions. If you can get them on the phone its great, but they seem to be a minimally staffed hotel which made it hard to get any service. Not that there is much to service, at a request for hangers or additional items to our room, we were told to go to the amenity closet on the other side of our floor for any toiletries, towels, hangers, etc. This cabinet was empty our entire stay and we never had housekeeping bring anything. Also you can only request housekeeping once per stay, as we were staying a few days this wasnt a big deal, but any longer and only once wouldnt be adequate.Next, room service. There isnt room service, which was baffling to me at a hotel advertising as such a high end, modern establishment. The food we had was good, if you wanted to wait for attention at the bars, going back to the minimal staff issue. However, we were never offered the option to charge items to our room and used other methods of payment, again leading me to question this $75/day hold.Overall the rooms are very nice, and the location is decent for walking. Thats about all the pros for this place. The shiny, new, and modern things like a mood light and Alexa in the room were nice, but nothing beats excellent service and attentive staff to me which cannot be found at Reverb.
Super Nice HotelMy family and I stayed here for a quick getaway. We enjoyed sitting on the rooftop bar watching all the cars and planes go by. And to look over into Mercedes Benz stadium was amazing. The rooms were neat with Alexa controlling the lights and sound for the room
My stay at Reverb was amazing from beginning to end.Valet parking on site, temperature check at the door before entry. Checking in was very easy, no long line probably took 4-5 minutes. Our room was very clean & I had a great view. I didnt hear any noise from either room on the side of us .The atmosphere was very nice every employee greeted us every time we walked by. Rooftop bar was very nice and the bar in the lobby. Patio area was very nice GREAT VIBES here at the Reverb.Security that works the night shift was so nice & does his job. The entire staff was amazingI will be staying here whenever I come into town.Cant wait to see once completely finished .If you are familiar with Hardrock properties then you should know to expect entertainment .If you want a silent boring hotel this is not the place for you
So glad that we visited this hotel! Its still so new and has a great vibe. We visited for our honeymoon and couldnt have picked a better location. The staff are friendly helpful and engaging. The room was immaculate with an awesome view. The rooftop bar has a very nice chill atmosphere and wonderful views of the downtown area. I cant say enough about how we enjoyed everything this hotel has to offer.
First, check-in was supposed to start at 3pm. I got to the hotel at 5pm and my room “wasn’t ready”. After an hour of waiting in the lobby not knowing when our room would be ready the Will Call hostess told us that our room was the next on the list and it would be another 30 minutes. The hostess then gave us free drink vouchers as if that would compensate for the inconvenience. At 6:30pm we found our way back to the lobby only for the hostess to hide her face from us with her hands as if she was invisible. Finally after about 10 more minutes of waiting in the lobby she gave us our room keys and sent us on our way. Our room was nice but the dry erase marker provided for the board was dried out. After all of the delay we tried to proceed with our planned day but of course the reservations we made for a restaurant nearby were canceled due to us sitting in a hotel lobby unnecessarily for almost two hours. There should have been some sort of email or text to let us know ahead of time that check-in was going to be delayed so we could have planned accordingly. Room service closed at 10pm and all you have after that for food in the hotel is a snack bar. So when we got back for the night from what we had left of the day out we had to order Uber Eats instead of just simply having a meal delivered to our room. Overall I think if check-in would have gone smoothly I wouldn’t be leaving a review but because it didn’t it simply ruined my trip.
This hotel and its employees are a complete joke. Extremely irresponsible, rude, and has zero percent customer appreciation. I had a reservation last weekend. I arrived at 3 and wasn’t able to actually check in until 11 pm. I arrived on time for check in. However, they kept me waiting because my room was supposedly not clean and not ready. They will not respond to my calls and no manager was available to speak to during my one night stay. I had to change and get semi ready in their lobbies restroom with many other people around. I paid $410 and still haven’t received a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE!
The food was okay, but my experience with the employees made up for it. It feels that the food was not diverse for the black population that was present. However, Lady English at the roof top bar was amazing. Moreover, J. Wesley at the lobby bar was professional, eloquent, world traveled and knowledgeable about drinks. It was a pleasure to speak with him. These two intelligent employees made my family experience worth while. They set the bar for hospitality.I anxiously anticipate visiting Reverb again to meet these two. They made my experience GREAT!!!
This hotel is totally trendy and I love it! You can totally tell this hotel was designed by a millennial but thats not a bad thing- I love the fun energy and vibe here- the STAFF IS FANTASTIC! They have sound proof rooms to have zoom meetings in... But still watch the fun movement in the lobby. The roof top bar area is great! The gym is sleek and sexy but enough to get a good workout... The rooms have the best mood lighting along with an Alexa in each room to control everything.I recommend this place... Especially if u are going to an event at the Mercedes-Benz stadium.
I’m a fan of the hotel theme, look & staff (Eugene was on point). I am not a fan of some of the issues we had. While the staff apologized, the timing wasn’t ideal. Our air conditioner, and two tablets stopped working in the room which controlled everything. Once we were told they couldn’t repair we were moved to a new room.In this new room our television was broken, and we were forced to use our personal devices to watch the game, and the repair wasn’t completed until the next morning.Update: Kennedy at the front desk was a gem, she acknowledged the issues that we had, and worked to provide a solution and offered us a chance to stay again so they could take care of us. I really appreciate the staffs professionalism and concern. My issues with the technology remain, but understand they could be isolated.
My check in was at 3pm, I did early check in through the website at 1pm thinking this will make my arrival go smoother. I arrived at 3 to the hotel for a soccer game at the Mercedes bens stadium and found out there werent any rooms available. There were a lot of people in the lobby waiting for rooms as well. They were not able to give an estimate on when my room will be ready. I waited in the lobby for 4 hours and never got my room, I had to get ready in the lobbys restroom and just leave my bags with an employee in the lobby because the game started at 7:30 and it was already at 7. I was told that I should be receiving a text once my room was ready, however the game ended at 11pm and I never received text from the hotel. After the game, I had to wait an hour in line to see if I even had a room for the night. I was finally given a room at 11;45pm. I paid too much money to not be able to enjoy my room. The staff didnt try to make up for the inconvenience either, we still had to be checked out at 11pm. Overbooked and understaffed, horrible experience.
Incredible staff so focused on customer satisfaction. from the front desk to housekeeping they are all amazing. the rooftop bar staff is amazing as well as the downstairs bar staff. Will, Kennedy, Especially Jack, Eugene, Q, Tiajah, Maddie, Doug, JP, Joanne, Mike, Chanel, Alan, Emma. all amazing people. theres just too many of them to name. Isaiah the manager was fantastic.
Great new feeling. Designed in a very modern style. We had some problems with booking but was solved quickly. It did take some time to check in but that was the only mark that I can think of. One of the crew, Unique, was VERY helpful and friendly through the whole process. Its interesting to see the downstairs turn into basically a club/bar scene and the upstairs lounge a very sophisticated bar lounge. Overall, VERY pleased!!
So the roof top bar is the best quality of this hotel. Our experience was bad from check in to check out here. Our room was a disaster! Its modern and hip but full of issues. The beds have lights under them that light up when you walk in front of them. Thats cool, but at night when you are trying not to wake others I the room and it lights up the place, not cool. The little bedside lights that fit flush into the head stand of the wall, well those wouldnt shut off. No, not even with the switch pushed. So we slept with a very bright light in our eyes the first night. The next morning the power to the bathroom goes out. No lights, no power, nothing. Just in the bathroom. After HOURS of trying to get someone up there to help, bc we had a game to get ready for, I went without the shower and got ready. Finally someone arrived and got the power on. The bed light he couldnt get to stay off, and we just requested another room. Which then took another 45 mins at least to accomplish.Check in is not a smooth process if youve booked thru a 3rd party. This is a self check in, make your own keys, get your own luggage cart hotel. If you have issues with needing your confirmation number for the hotel, (which is not what is normally given to you by a 3rd party), you wait in a different line. Then go back and do it yourself. Why not just check someone in at that point?!?@?@The restaurants are mediocre. The drinks are very expensive, but good. Didnt have a bad drink at the rood top bar.Selections are limited food wise at the roof top, but you can go downstairs and order and bring up with you.So the view from the roof top is gorgeous. The proximity to the stadium is fabulous. Best parts of the hotel.
The stay was ok. The Customer service after the stay is terrible if you have a question or try to get your bill it is impossible. I have been trying for over a week. I tried calling I was told people were working on it, I was talked about by employees when they set the phone down counter to ask each other questions. I wrote an email to Hard Rock Customer care who took a few days to get back to me and said my complaint was going to upper Management at the Atlanta Hotel and I should hear a response in 2-3 days. It has been 7. To business travelers who have to do expenses in a timely matter know how this can cause issues at your job. This Hotel takes your money and when your gone if you have an issue after the fact. They simply do not care!
Let me start off by saying that I never leave negative reviews. I always try to consider the stress of high volume and am very understanding when an establishment is overwhelmed. But my stay at the Reverb hotel was a drastic reminder of why I usually book Airbnbs. The Good: Great location if you need to go to an event nearby, as I booked it for a trade show at the world congress center. The rooftop bar has a very pretty view. The room was clean enough. The Bad: Literally everything else. I know it was a busy weekend because of the soccer games but almost every experience I had was negative. When we checked in, the staff was more concerned with the bar customers and checking my temperature every time I came in the entrance (multiple times back to back while bringing in my luggage) rather than helping me check-in or providing a luggage cart.THE VALET LOST MY KEYS. When I went to retrieve my car, they told me that they could not locate my key. I went back to my room to give them time to find the key, not a big deal. But after an hour, still no key. They did get me an uber so I could get to my trade show but I was late and it took them another 2 hours to find my key. They did find it but for $43 a day, not the service I expect. The food provided by both the downstairs restaurant and the rooftop bar was borderline cafeteria-grade food. They try to make it sound nice on the menu but everything was microwaved. The bacon in my breakfast wrap and the meatball sandwich I had for dinner, both microwaved for sure. Considering it was on the pricey side, I was disappointed. Also when I ordered dinner at the rooftop bar, they lost my food order. After 40 mins of waiting for my food, I asked where it was and they did not have my order. They had to take my order again and it still took another 20 mins. So after an hour of waiting, I received an $18 microwaved meatball sub and a $16 burrito-sized tater tot that was complete mush and not fully fried.Lastly, I was not provided a final bill at check out. I was charged $250 more than my reservation cost. I have emailed them three times, requesting the bill with no response. Considering that I spent about $1300 for three nights, including one breakfast and one dinner with drinks for two people, I would absolutely not recommend it.
Staying here was great! Everyone is super friendly and helpful, even the housekeeping! Our room was clean and modern, one of the prettiest/cleanest rooms we have stayed in. We stayed two nights and had no issues. There’s body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided for you attached to the beautiful shower wall which is great, a free, flavored Dasani drink dispensing fountain. There is an extra toiletries closet at the end of each floor hall. Our room was soundproof and had an ok view. Parking was a little annoying (it’s across the street on gravel/grass but nothing horrible. If I had to say one thing (a random kind of annoying thing) is that in our room the AC fan blows on these posters behind the headboard and makes a crinkling sound every now and then. Maybe that was just our room. 416. Rooftop bar was super crowded on Friday night but it was peaceful in the afternoon. They have all kinds of drinks and snacks in the lobby. Anything you’d need. Thank you!
I’m giving a 2 star review because I have stayed in many hotels in my life and this experience was not as clean as I have experienced before, the shower was dirty there was dust in the bedroom, pillows and bedding didn’t smell clean and there was no water bottles in the bedroom. However the staff was very friendly and the place was beautifully decorated very modern.I was just a little disappointed that Hard Rock hotel was not ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As I expected .
Excellent clean the vibe was amazing. Covid friendly temperature check. Reverb is hip and elegant. My room was super clean. Water pressure was amazing and steaming hot water wonderful bathroom. The bed was super comfortable. Loved all lights and Alexa. My new favorite hotel in ATL. Valet was busy but efficient and provided excellent customer service skills. Roof top is Amazing.
Nice property and an excellent location. Room was missing a few key things including hand soap and the shower body was empty or clogged. No coffee cups for the nice looking lavazza coffee maker. Seems like some staffing or housekeeping issues. Check-in was a problem and help was lacking but it was busy. Its newer so I might give it another try.
My husband and I stayed at Reverb last weekend after the Atlanta United game. I booked based upon the reviews and proximity to Mercedes Benz stadium. I had high hopes for our stay, but ended up disappointed and checked out a day early. Upon arrival we chose to valet park at the hotel rather than park across the street. My husband ended up having to valet park our own car as the attendant could not drive a manual. After checking into our room we went up to the rooftop bar and waited in line for half an hour for drinks before giving up and heading down the street to get dinner. We returned to the hotel and decided to check out the rooftop bar once more and stayed until the closed at 11pm and headed back to our room. From 11pm until giving up all hope around 4:30am we listened to our neighbors fight, scream, yell, and cry while some banged incessantly on their hotel room door despite 2 calls to security and one to the police. After a night of no sleep, we decided to check out and not stay the second night. I had booked 2 nights with aquarium passes and when we were checking out the employee asked if we had received our tickets and we told him no. He said okay and printed us our bill for the night (~$400 included the valet parking) and we still didnt receive our aquarium tickets. We left in exhaustion and frustration and my husband got the keys from valet and retrieved our car. I reached out to the operations manager via phone and email and received no response. Needless to say, I was highly disappointed in our stay here.
Its a work in progress as of August 28, 2021, but I see the potential for four/five-star ratings once the hotel is fully complete and staffed. It is just across the street from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and is close to State Farm Arena and other downtown attractions. The rooftop bar is worth a visit as well
Not being from Atlanta I did not know the area so I was disappointed in the location. Being near the stadium I thought there would be more around. There is nothing around to explore. The location was not ideal and having to park the car in an open lot made us a bit nervous. Carrying all our luggage self-check-in was difficult especially after checking in it stated they would call us when the room was ready. Then I approached a crew member and he checked me in again and assigned us a room. So whats the point of self-check-in when you have 2 kids in tow and a lot of luggage. The hotel doesnt offer much for kids and was disappointed they were not allowed into the roof patio lounge, which after seeing it I understood why and could barely hear the bartender over the loud music at 5 PM. The downstairs lounge was all there was and the man giving roses to the ladies was amazing. The food prices were reasonable. The room was below par. The bedding was soft and nice but the pillows did not have any support. Having 2 small kids in the barn door bathroom without a lock is not great. The motion lights under the bed are annoying especially when you wake up everyone in the middle of the night when you get up for the bathroom. Theres no instruction on how to use anything and the Alexa device is just annoying. The next morning apparently their pastry truck didnt show up so there were no bagels and bread that we were hoping for, something quick on our way out. For a family, this was not a great hotel. This is for the young hip couples that dont have to keep little kids entertained.
Really lovely atmosphere top to bottom. Happily greeted by staff all around. At the temp check, they did let someone in with no mask, even though there’s a posted strict mask policy. Staff at RT60 was swamped, I think they need more help and support. The cocktails aren’t great, incredibly sweet and basic for the price tag. 4 of the house cocktails had strawberry syrup. Not the spot of high end mixology. Food looked great. Gas heaters on outdoor patio didn’t work when we asked them to turn it on. A bit bizarre considering we’re in a pandemic, and outdoor seating is pivotal. Overall, a great spot in a wonderful location. Inviting staff. But they have some learning curves to maneuver, and I’m sure will improve over time.
The hotel is beautiful. very modern. I loved the room. it was spacious and very clean. The staff is very easy going. I think the guy who I spoke to was the manager, he has Amazing customer service. its definitely an experience I enjoyed. I wish I would have booked my whole weekend here. Id stay here again.
Cool place for Millennials and other adults that want something different and eclectic. My teen daughters loved the lobby vibe, but because it is often filled with people.. pandemic considered, it was not easy for us to hang out much outside the room. Plus one of the main reasons I booked the room, was because of the rooftop. But I later learned its only open certain days/certain evening hours and not open to your kids. So parents have to make the decision to go alone if they can or not at all. Oh.. and the $20 unpaved parking across the street was another surprise --unless you choose to pay the $43 a day valet. I feel the hotel should either roll the parking into the room cost or at the very least let guests know before booking. But overall, its a beautiful hotel with thought out finishing touches to accommodate guests. The Rooms are nice, very modern and clean. Staff was accommodating and professional. Checking in was an easy automated process.
Hubby and I paid $300 plus for a one night stay. It looks like the prices are now $100 or so. That is about right. This place is new which is nice but grossly understaffed with undertrained people. They want you to use the kiosk to check-in and check-out but that did not work for us. The rooftop and downstairs bar/dining had a total of 5 people working for hundreds of people. There is food served on-site but I had to come down in the am to warm my food...well the same lone employee working check in took my food on the elevator to warm it and dropped it on the way back. We got little information at check-in about the hotel and they do not have any type of room service. The furnishings are like a college dorm and the equipment in the gym was broken and unusable. We purchased a Romance Package but this is not the place for romance unless you are a teen or college student. Valet was $43 and in the same place as self park in an unsecured lot save a flimsy fence partially around it. I would stay here for $90 after a game at the dome but certainly not $300 plus again.
It sucks! You cant get Uber there...and there is no gambling, even though its a Hard Rock?! No slots? No sports on? Nothing that you could even pretend to gamble on, besides the rate of toilet flushes, which I did, and lost with another gentleman in the bathroom! Worst gambling ever! Two thumbs down 👎👎
I stayed about 2 weeks ago in reverb as part of a 5 state trip. I live in florida and although the hotel is new and with a modern touch, wich is great, it has some issues that make it just not worth the hard rock name. Starting off with parking that well, the self parking is just a small space that looks like to be in an unfinished area and looks like there isent enough space for all guests. The rooftop bar is ok, the view is good but the drink and service are avarage and its not open all the days, wich for a hard rock hotel I think it should. Also the breakfast is not worth the price, I know is an grab and go with covid but for its price I expected more than a sadwich like the ones you find in mc donalds just bigger. To close off, the hotel is modern but the attempt to use alexa to control comands and have wierd lights that do not turn off, like the bed ones, just makes it annoying. Not sure if its worth it, but it was an avarage experience.
Confusing parking, complicated self check in, bathroom pipe broken. No views, I found a dirty rag in my shower, no soap, no house keeping despite numerous requests. This place tries too hard to be sophisticated and fails at being a hotel!Dont stay here !After 3 requests for house keeping no one came to my room! Worst hotel in Atlanta !The management teams empty form response was as expected. They dont follow through !
LOVED this place! I left Atlanta when it was still being built, and came back to the city from Nashville a few nights ago. The staff at their Constant Grind bar/restaurant were incredible - JOANNE made me feel very welcome, like she was taking care of a friend or family guest in her own home. WILL was cool too (though we disagree about the current state of the NBA and Im soon to study Law so..I argue a bit lol). The room made my jaw drop when I walked in - Ive stayed at every major 4-star hotel in the city, from the Georgian Terrace to the Westin, so this is was definitely an impressive place. The interior design, the King beds, views, and ambience were all well-thought-out and very comfortable.Downstairs they have listening rooms with working electric guitars and amps, plenty of seating and space, and 24-hour food/drinks with the inclusion of their grab-and-go counter (though I wish there were more vegetarian options for the wraps/non-snack items). The check-in/check-out staff seemed a little discombobulated and not as friendly; each time, from when I checked in, booked another night & had to come down to get keys reactivated/show my ID, and when I checked out. There was always 1 single staff member in that area, and other customers coming/going, so maybe that is it. I know there are check-in/check-out kiosks, but I was only guided to use one or told about them on my final day which was the 20th, and seemingly only because the woman there did not want to help me since a computer could, but then there was an Error when using the kiosk so she ended up having to help me anyway.Overall, this was an awesome hotel and experience - from Valet to the kitchen, you can tell they really care and that the company culture is upheld all throughout. Fun times, dope vibes - Reverb for life! Thanks,Z
While this hotel is close to the Mercedes stadium it lacks in hospitality, cleanliness, food & location to other restaurants within walking distance. Upon checking in late Thursday evening, there really wasn’t any restaurants near without taking an Uber the limited menu at hotel was ok. Drinks were expensive and rooftop bar was closed until Friday. We had chicken sliders & grilled cheese flatbread 3 drinks ea & bill was $124. On Friday we requested fresh towels & they directed us to pantry close to our room however it was not stocked. No on cleaned or checked our room. Saturday we requested the room cleaned & restocked, they said “due to covid they aren’t cleaning rooms” and needed items were in pantry….no they are not. Also, they have Dasni water dispensers in pantry…sold out. Oh & did I mention the toilet had a ring around the bowl? 🤢. Sunday morning we tried again to get towels and were told after going downstairs they would bring to our room…again nothing & we dried off with hand towel. Again during late night activities forget getting something to eat other than a pre made salad. Oh and another issue was the smell of weed every night! The other hotels on other side of dome have restaurants within walking distance & seem to offer more. We will stay there next time.
Im sure itll be better with the kinks worked out when its fully finished. (Hoping)Perhaps the staff will be quicker at answering issues and rectifying their mistakes and missteps. Great visually and wonderful place to hang for us music lovers. 🎶 Definitely could use more advertising, as Id never heard of it before last weekend and its been open almost a year.. 🤷The best part was the drinks and time spent at the rooftop bar and of course the super nice, and polite, witty and fun to talk to bartender, 🍸 🍺 sorry we didnt catch his name! 🍷 💁 but hes blonde and ull know him when u meet him! 🏋 the fitness center was very cool but very small. The views 🏙 were all fantastic! Maybe theyll end up with a kickass pool 🏊 to go with their kickass guitars 🎸 and music rooms 🎶 🤞
As soon as we walked in, it was a total vibe! As far as parking we parked across the street for self parking, which was not a hassle at all. We came on a Sunday evening, the decor was nice and modern. The DJ spinning was playing all the great tunes. We were greeted by Eunique, who was super nice. She told us about the hotel and all the amenities. She directed us to the rooftop bar which had THE AMAZING VIEWS in Atlanta. The bartender made great drinks came back to the hotel lounge Eunique made us another amazing drink 10/10 recommend! If you’re Atlanta a must visit!!
The Reverb team is amazing. Eugene and another lady, who assisted me this morning, helped me to get settled in with ease. The hotel is in the perfect location- so I can park and have every need within walking distance. All other needs are here at the hotel. I appreciate the quality of the hotel as well as the patient team!
My first time visiting this hotel and I am truly in love. The colorful lobby filled with fun bright and engaging rooms is the perfect welcoming. The staff was perfect! The food is delish-ious! The rooftop and all of its amazing views is another added experience to the visit. The wait staff on the rooftop, McKenzie and Lori were exceptional. I am so eager to return to this propertyso that drink and eat their entire menu..🤣
It was beautiful, clean and very peaceful in the room. We stayed in room 801 and view was amazing!! The only problem was there was no microwave in the room and we had to eat out and waste food for two days, I hope this is resolved in the future. Overall, it was a pleasant experience from the staff service and all.
Great location sitting right on the corner across from the Mercedes Benz Stadium if you don’t mind the drag racing and train riding by. Rooms are decent, very retro throughout the entire hotel. Great lobby vibes with the music from new school to old school with the love DJ and friendly staff. Chill rooftop bar as well.Food was not very good, ordered their Reverb Sliders which were supposed to be a spin on the Hard Rock Burger and ended up being a meatball sandwich that completely different from what was described on the menu. Breakfast wasn’t very good either, coffee was GREAT.Parking garage is still not up and running which is major downfall. As far as I know, this spot has only been open a few days so they’re still working out some kinks in terms of logistical based stuff, once it’s completely up and running smoothly this will definitely be a hotspot.Perfect spot if you’re in town for a football game, concert or any event located in downtown Atlanta.Would like to revisit once it’s been open awhile.
I stayed at this hotel during Memorial Day weekend. When you first enter you have to get your temperature checked before entering. The hotel is nice, but I was expecting more for the lobby. It was just ok. They do have a lot of seating on the inside and outside patio. All of the employees were great! Very kind and helpful except one that I ran into on Sunday evening. Not sure of her name, but she’s on the chubby side, and it was around 8:00 pm. She was working directly in the lobby by the snacks. I asked her did she have a pair of scissors. She made a whole scene in front of everyone in the lobby. She started backing up like I had a disease. She told me to put on a mask. I told her I was fully vaccinated and I have my card to prove that. She never responded, and kept making a scene. She told me I can’t give you scissors until you put on a mask. I told her my temperature was checked and I have the vaccine . You can just toss the scissors. She kept making a scene for no reason. At that point I just walked off. She knew I wasn’t sick... that’s why your temperature is checked every time you enter. That was very unprofessional of her, and that changed my whole perception of this hotel. She was literally running from me when I wasn’t even that close to her. Ridiculous.. if you’re that scared of getting sick you definitely need to get vaccinated, and don’t work in a public place. Geez she had on a mask.. she was making a scene to get a laugh out of people in the lobby. The location is not the best if you’re going to need an Uber throughout your stay. Uber gps sends the drivers to Mercedes Benz stadium for the pickup spot, and it causes all kinds of confusion. The rooms are really cool and clean. And the rooftop is amazing. It has an bar located inside, and the outside has a lot of seating, and TVs. It’s also great for photos, because the Mercedes Benz stadium lights up at night. And it’s directly behind the rooftop. Overall it’s a nice hotel. It’s just that one employee that left a bad taste in my mouth.
We walked into the Reverb on a Saturday night around 10. Entering the lobby was overwhelming with the loud nightclub music. We were not of what to expect prior to our arrival. Probably had it been something more soothing it would not have been so offensive. Once checked in there were two lines to board the elevators. One for the eleventh floor and one for the hotel guest. Once we made it to our room which was state of the art and very nice we learned that there was no room service or menus and we needed to either go to the first floor or the eleventh to order food which we could carry back to our room. The service was nice but the food was overcooked. The menu was limited and we later learned we should have tried the menu choices on the first floor. Either way wewere to be bombarded with the load club atmosphere. Probably a bit much for traveling families with small children. The following day we met lots of the staff all were very kind and helpful. Most particularly Je Wesley. He was communicative, kind, helpful and informative. He appeared to be extremely busy multitasking but not neglecting any of the guest or our needs. The service was great. All and all it is a great hotel with lots of amenities and well worth it. One surprising service was the staffs ability and willingness to access and print our boarding passes for our return trip home. I recommend this hotel and strongly urge the management to make the first lobby more inviting for the sensory impaired, the elderly and for those traveling with small children.
This hotel is thee BEST if your looking for a more younger party scene or if you looking for a Sugar Daddy😉🤣🤣. Rooms are beautiful, modern, Nd spacious. The Bar is also LIT Nd the Bartenders took GREAT care of us especially Mike Nd Will 😍🥰😘 so ask for them specifically when you need a drink. Will Mos Def be coming back soon for another stay!!!! #ATLiens4Life🥰
What an amazing city view!! Cute and quaint rooftop lounge with powerful drinks. I didnt get a chance to try the food because food service ends right before 10pm so keep that in mind if you are also expecting to dine. Last call for drinks was around 10:30. On the way up there was a live band playing downstairs and 2 private guitar rooms that were open to the public to allow you to try your hand at being a Rockstar. Also, I would strongly suggest Uber, it took forever just to turn in for valet, however, there is a free parking lot right across the street as well. I returned for a daytime rooftop visit which was nice. Ample seating and amazing views of the city. Seating was first come first served so opted to sit at a couch which was comfortable.
If you want a centralized hotel that has an amazing ambiance, personable employees, gorgeous bar, and great rooms.... Reverb is the hotel for you! My boyfriend and I visited Atlanta two days after they opened and we were so impressed. Everyone in this hotel was so welcoming and knowledgeable when it came to the city. It was right near the stadium which was perfect because we attended a Falcons game. After the game, we went to the rooftop bar and tried some drinks. I would recommend the Encore and the strawberry mojito. Overall this hotel deserves 5 stars and we will definitely stay there the next time we are in town!!
We ended here unintentionally but we were so glad we did! Our house we rented didnt work out and I search for hotels and this one stood out to me! Its very new actually still under construction the music vibe is everything, the top floor lounge was amazing, Alexa was great having, charging pads, different light settings, only complaint is the bed light are sensitive so they would light up at night and no one was moving!
First we show up to the hotel on time and our room is not ready. We have to wait 45 minutes for our room to be ready because of problems with payment on their end. We paid for the hotel before we came to Atlanta. We finally get to our room which looks nice and everything‘s great and beds are comfy. We head down to go out and we get stuck in elevator car 2 for about 30 minutes. This was a terrifying experience for my fiancé. Atlanta fire department had to get us out because the elevator technician wouldn’t be there for another 45 minutes. We chose to take the stairs up to our room so we had our room moved to floor two as opposed to floor eight. There are 2 staircases both of which are kept locked because they lead outside the hotel and not into the lobby like every other hotel I’ve been to. You have to go outside to go up the stairs and you have to get someone to unlock the door for the stairs every time you wanna go up. At one point when asking to have the stairs unlocked, I was questioned as to why I would like to use the stairs. I had to explain the whole elevator situation. There is no microwave in the room and the fridge is tiny. After we had dinner we came back to the hotel and had to ask someone to unlock the stairs and the security guard didn’t believe that my fiancé knew what she was talking about with stairs and all and led us all throughout the building in and around the back just to go to the staircase she was talking about. Drinks were okay. Breakfast was good. We had a lot of help from Chris. I don’t know his last name but I know he’s operations manager. Overall two out of 10 experience. Atlanta was great, but the hotel was very poor. I would not recommend this hotel.
Overall decent. Details below:** public parking is in an open gravel lot across the street from the hotel, in a dilapidated sort of fenced in open area without cover. Still, itll cost over $20 a day to park here. Valet parking is available, at $40+ a day.We were in a standard 2 queen bed room for 3 nights. Upon checking in, you do it all yourself on a kiosk. Not a fan, the one place I want an actual person is here, for check in. Its long and kind of drug out process that a regular person can do much faster and easier. The rooms are pretty awesome. Wonderful beds, awesome bathroom. There is a sliding barn door on the bathrooms. I loved this, however, our auto closer was broken and the door wouldnt stay shut. By looking on top, the bracket on the top that goes into the slider is broke. ( I have these in my house, so I know what Im looking at as I installed my own ). Theirs are plastic and have taken a beating. I called down to have someone come fox it and in the time we went to eat and come back someone had been in. Im sorry, but I dont know who your maintenance person is, but they need to be taught how to tighten a screw at most. Our whole trip even after talking to a manager the next day our door never stayed shut properly. If you like a nice cold room, maybe think elsewhere. Everytime I turned it all the way up and put the fan mode to high it would reset to medium and stop for 10 seconds before coming back on, so never worked on max settings and sweated a bit.Hot water. If you stay and before your ready to shower, get it turned on. It takes no time to get warm, but then thsts it. After 5 or so minutes it gets a little better but nothing close to an actual hot shower. Night showers are the best, if your trying in the mornings be prepared to shower with warm water.Room lights. I thought initially it was awesome that the bottom of the beds lit up and came on with motion. That changed the first night. We sleep dark, no lights and no TV. I like the fact they come on to see and not hit something, but their pretty bright. Getting out of bed and walking to the bathroom means they both come on and if one of us got up throughout the night the lights alone woke the other up. With the smart panels in the room this should of been an on / off feature.Overall, not sure Id stay here again. There is 24 hour staff always downstairs and on the valet parking so its pretty safe, and the elevators dont work or go up without your room key, so no safety concerns. However, with the price, room and hotel flaws that should be a no Brainer to upkeep, no pool, etc. I may try somewhere else my next time in Atlanta.* thumbs up this if it helps you.
As someone who has traveled a lot I was very disappointed with my stay. The concept of the hotel is cool, but the execution is horrible. To start I purchased the staycation package which comes with $45 of credits to spend at the hotel that I did not receive all of and at check in I was offered an additional $5 a day of extra credits if I received no room service that I also did not receive as I was told they have to be applied after the stay and there’s no way of verifying before you check out. Upon arrival the parking is overpriced at $20 per night to be in a dirt lot with very little lighting across the street. Hopefully this will get better once they finish building their parking garage. After that the check in process is confusing when coming in during the evening as you’ll have to walk through the bar and lounge area with luggage where people are dancing, drinking, and smoking hookah. The self check in kiosk gave me error messages when attempting to check in so I had to get help from a staff member whom was friendly. However, the room he put us in had a terrible view, despite my request for a view overlooking the stadium and downtown area and despite the fact that they had many open rooms to choose from, the lights under the bed didn’t work, and the Alexa did not work properly either. I was told the Alexa was a mechanical issue that the engineers would have to fix and I was placed in another room where the lights worked properly and the view was better. The room itself was ok but there is no storage and luggage and the fridge is literally a pullout shelf big enough for one maybe two water bottles. The rooftop bar hours are inconsistent. I went to the bar Friday evening after checking in around 1 am and was told that the bar is supposed to close at 11 but as long as there are people at the bar they would stay open to as late as 2 am. I had friends from the city come visit me Saturday evening and when we went to the rooftop around 12 despite there being plenty of people there we were told to leave and that the bar was closed. On top of everything someone got stuck in the elevator that evening and the fire department had to shut off the elevators and rescue them. The worst part of all I was overcharged for my stay after I left because the proper amounts of credits weren’t applied to my account and while I was trying to explain the situation the employee I was on the phone with,Tay, or at least that’s the name she game me when I asked for it was very unprofessional and kept trying to brush me off and get me off the phone. All in all a very frustrating and horrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend anyone who knows what it’s like to stay at a professional and well put together hotel to stay here.
Upon arrival to our room, we found several dead bugs and flies on our beds. Called front desk and asked for housekeeping to clean beds, front desk advised they didnt have anyone until morning. We asked for new room which we were told they had none, but would try to get us some new bedding. 20+ minutes later I had to go to front desk to ask about our bedding. Stated to hang tight and they would get me what they could find. Not kid friendly on Friday nights in lobby area, more like a club. Staff was friendly, but undertrained in aspects of customer service.
Worst experience ever... This is a Hotel for misfits! The moment we stepped out of the car at the front of the Hotel, the smell of Marijuana hit us in the face. We felt very unsafe. Poor service and no return call from management . We left as fast as we checked in!! Do not waste your time nor money here
I accompanied my visiting family as they checked into the hotel yesterday, since i recommended this hotel to them. I was truly embarrassed and disappointed as my family had to wait for their room to be available after 8p and driving 10 hours. Upon arrival there were long lines with only one person checking dozens of people in and none of the self check-in kiosks worked. The line was super crazy with lots of upset people. The one saving grace was the guy who did his best to accommodate everyone. He was compassionate and understanding to everyones needs and frustrations. I believe his name tag said, James Wesley. He is the only reason im not giving this hotel a zero.
One of my worst hotel experiences. I travel a lot and spend a lot of time in hotels and I do not recommend this hotel. I arrived around 9:30pm and was greeted by chaos, the check in process was awful and nobody knew what they were doing. The staff was more worried about socializing with people than helping me get checked in. I was treated like I didn’t know what I was doing when it came to self check in. The food options were terrible and the bar tenders were rude. We also had a light in our room stay on all night because we could get it to turn off. The parking situation was terrible as well, we had to park in a dirt lot across the street that had a security guard when we arrived but not when we checked out so who knows when he left and he was smoking pot in his car.The staff was very unprofessional and unorganized.
Management was awful and not accommodating. After traveling for hours with my family when we arrived at the hotel we was told rooms were available after I previously already booked and the wait would be up to an hour. After we finally got to the room I called down to the front desk and requested an extra pillow and blanket after waiting 45 minutes my husband went down to the first desk and an employee told him they didn’t have extra help for things like that. Not to mention the elevators stop working and had to wait up to 20 min in the lobby to get the our room. We also paid $43 for Valet parking and our car was not parked in the garage but across the street .
Despite the hotel still being in construction stages. We enjoyed the total experience. Upon arrival into the hotel we were welcomed by staff and the temperature scanner. The hotel ambiance is like no other, the checkin experience is very different that we could have been checked on even at the bar. The view was freaking amazing from the 8th floor.
Reverb scored a perfect score for me! Looking to be In the middle if everything then this is your spot! Location, Vibe, at a brand new hotel! The staff are over attentive I felt like I was a part of their family! Im not easy to please but this team pull through and surpassed my expectations... I usually stick with the same brand hotel BUT this experience has me saying YES to Reverb and Hard Rock! Dont look at traditional hotels go for the coolest Vibe in ATL and book Reverb!
This hotel is more like a club for young 20 somethings than an attempt to be a hotel. My husband loves Hard Rock Resorts. We spent our honeymoon at one in Cabo San Lucas. We were looking for a night away close to hone and thought we would give it a try. First, the valet is $43 a night for your car to be in an unsecured dirt parking lot across the street. Upon entering, you walk right into a crowded bar area. Finding check in was difficult. When we did find the self checkin kiosk, it informed us at 4:00pm our room was not ready. Website says checkin is available at 3pm. We waited an hour and a half with our bags in that crowded bar/lobby area before finding a couple of “crew”, to tell us our rooms still were not ready. We had dinner reservations at 6:00pm at another location so they checked our bags and gave us free drink cards for when we came back. Had dinner and came back around 7:30pm and finally got a room after having to wait around again while they checked to see if our room was ready. The room is decorated like everything came out of IKEA, looks like a college dorm room. Platform bed, low to the ground with an u comfortable mattress. Limited cable channels and no movie rentals. The “smart” Alexa controls have to be repeated over snd over to function lights and A/C. That was annoying. There were screams and partying all night that kept us awake. The walls are very thin. The next morning my husband went down to get coffee and muffins and the order was wrong. As my husband. Left to go get the car, the fire alarm went off in our room, just our room for the last 10 minutes of packing up to go. I altered the housekeeping staff and the “crew” downstairs, but no one seemed to be concerned. The kids that work there are nice and trying to do their best, but this was a cluster f$&@ of no organization. Lots of frustrated people standing around just like we were the night before. Needless to say, we won’t be back again. The cost was WAY to pricey for what this actually is.

2022-02-25Great great experience overall! We loved the concept of the Hotel. Found it very innovative and had a very pleasant stay. Room was nice and clean, and lobby smelled amazing. The employees were the absolute best! I would go back just to see them again! How nice and polite they ALL were. They definitely set my new standard when it comes to customer service. I’m blown away.

2022-05-05Enjoyed my stay at Reverb. Staff was accommodating and extremely helpful at check-in. Its self check-in and pretty much a smart facility. I enjoyed that you needed a keycard to access the elevator to get to living accommodations. The top floor has a rooftop lounge which was nice. The location was great. Nice skyline of Atlanta and a direct view of the Mercedes Benz Stadium. I did not like the $43 for overnight valet parking. Self-parking was $33 but the facility only had 10 spots for self-parking.

2022-06-08Great people, good spot but the hotel needs some improvement. It is brand new and will hopefully get better but we had multiple issues in our room. The cold water faucet at the sink leaked when it was in use. Also, one reading light on the bed did not work and the other would not shut off. But they quickly taped over it for us! Also, it has motion lights under the bed which sounds cool but it lights up the whole room whenever you get up at night with no easy way to turn off (if even possible). The room includes a fridge, Alex and will be great when finished. Though we did not need it, the bar closes early so if you want to have drinks then another spot is best. It is just across from the stadium and fairly priced. The people at the hotel were awesome from the check in receptionist, manager and anyone else.

2022-04-13A beautiful hotel, nice bar and patio on main level. Rachel at the main bar area is a GREAT confident, professional, warm and friendly bartender. She made the best drink for me based on my described preference/liking. It was so appealing that 4 women admired it and wanted the same which she recreated exactly. However, and although the rooftop top lounge bar area is nice, the service compared to the main bar area was miles apart in delivering a great experience, favor given to the main bar area. The menu on the rooftop was very limited and misleading. They advertised 3 types of wings, but that day no matter which flavor you choose hot wings were received with seasoning on the side- thus not set out on the menu. I return my wings and was compensated, but the experience was ruined. Will I returned, perhaps. However. I WILL only get my drinks and food from hopefully Rachel at the main bar. Pretty nice views though. Customer service is very important to me, as it is a big part of the overall experience.

2022-04-15The bartender Shelby was absolutely amazing; very nice and friendly. The hotel itself was not that great. Parking is very expensive. They promote the rooftop bar hardcore but don’t tell you it’s only open Thursday- Sunday. The room was dirty with hair on the tables and a used mask on the floor. There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee was present. There was a fancy water machine on the floor but it didn’t work. Lastly food choices are pretty weak; you can’t even get a hamburger so if you have food allergies just know you probably won’t be eating here. Also there isn’t a business center so would not recommend this hotel for work trips.

2022-02-14I guess Im more of a traditional person whos stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide but this one was over-the-top weird. Be warned there is no lobby or reception desk and its a little difficult to figure out how to use the kiosks to check-in. My e-mail that was sent to me with confirmations did not have a QR code as was expected at the terminal so I resorted to a real human being. The entire first floor is basically this hip setting for music, food and hanging out.The room was awkward, king size bed which is good and a huge TV but only one roll-around desk chair. Theres a weird European style couch against the window with nothing to lean back against. I saw these in Germany and never warmed up to them. There was a square cushion-like roll-around that I guess you could sit on but again, theres no back to it so I guess you park yourself against a wall and use that. If you do sit on the couch, youre almost perpendicular to the TV so its difficult to watch.Wonderful, clean bathroom; in fact, everything was clean. The room itself wasnt fully functional, however, and it needed a set of instructions on how to operate all the wall controls. The wireless charger didnt work nor the Amazon Echo; so much for a smart room. No closet, clothes are hung for everyone to see. Great view of Atlanta though.

2022-01-04I expected more than the Holiday Inn. The staff members are all very nice and accommodating, even getting a warm greeting from the cleaning crew just makes you feel comfortable. This is where things turned downward. I had to go down to the check in desk 3 times (including the initial) to be told what room was to be my abode for the next two nights. After being told the correct room number I was ready for some rest. The rooms are very clean and laden with tech, nice touch. They are lacking in sound insulation from neighboring rooms. I could hear blinds being pulled up or down in the room next to me while sitting on the bed with the TV on. The bathroom is very open and inviting, it was all a ruse. The shower temperature ranged from uncomfortably hot to melt your skin down the drain. After telling the desk staff about the issue they claimed to get someone on it right away, I didn’t dare try again so I’m not sure if it was fixed or not. They get 3 stars for the overall cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff, as well as the comfortable beds.

2022-01-02So. I brought 7 students to Atlanta GA for Passion. And we were so excited to stay at the Reverb because of house close it was.We parked and walked into the lobby and the check in area was very confusing. Self check in stations and workers that did not ever really look up to see if anyone needed help.I know they were likely overwhelmed with the event. But my mind was in the care and well-being of my students. So we have card issues. I asked them about it and they said they have issues with Master cards. They then proceeded to fix that issues and said it would be a 5-10 minute wait.I go back up every 30 minutes after this for the next 4 hours. And nothing. Rooms are not ready. As I send my students on to the event and wait in the lobby with all the bags. No one apologies. No one asks if they can do anything. And regularly there is no one even at the front desk. And when they are there they are frantically calling housekeeping.Again. I know they were likely busy. But again. My mind was on the safety of my students.I don’t like complaining. But a hotel of this size and that costs this much should be more prepared.

2022-02-06Excellent stay! The hotel reminds me of a mini Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. It’s beautiful and thought through. The ambience is modern with tech being a main component. Very edgy hotel vibe. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Their cappuccinos are better than Starbucks and hot blueberry muffins I’ll crave while away. After work, the pineapple and Malibu was just nice to have available at the bar if desired. We will return!

2022-04-03When I first walked in, it smelled very home-like and the lobby set up was very modern. The staff were helpful and suited myself to a drink after there being a little hiccup on their end. The hotel room was set up very neatly and I loved how I could organize my belongings in the room. The most useful service Reverb obtained was a room on our floor with sheets, covers, and extra necessities that we could access at all times.
