I came into the dealership and did not have an an appointment they took me in anyways. I was having a problem with my 2015 GMC 2500 Duramax. The locks were locking and unlocking lights were going on and off. I thought I would need new batteries and was expecting to spend $400 or more. The ran a diagnostic test and discovered that I needed a battery in my key fob, my total for the test and the battery was $119.95. I’m so pleased to be able to get out with spending more they were so nice to take me in without an appointment and they got me in and out within an hour. This is my first time using them but it will not be my last time thank you so much Riverside.
I am new here. I went first to a company I had used in Maryville because they have a shop here. They told me there was nothing wrong with my brakes, but I knew that there was because they were sticking. So I decided to go to the GMC dealer by us. It was a good thing I did. I had no rear brakes. NONE! It only took them 2 weeks ( because I have a 28 year old vehicle)to get the parts and get me in. Thank you Kayla and your wonderful team!
I wont be back.I made an appointment, and thirty minutes after the scheduled time, my car is just now being taken back.When I walked in, the customer service rep and two mechanics were standing around and talking to each other. Nothing is wrong with that, except that it took more than a full minute for me, the only customer there, to be acknowledged. The rep had an attitude and was not communicative at all.Another woman came in to get her car diagnosed and she was told itd be over $100 to do, but when she got her husband on the phone, it was changed to $59. A different customer service rep from the one that spoke to me gave the woman an attitude about the price drop and walked away from her.In the waiting lobby, theres a leak in the ceiling with a bucket underneath to catch the water, the wifi name and password are incorrect, and the area is filthy. The Rome location may be better, but it was really the poor attitudes that put me off.
We just took delivery of our new Yukon today and we couldn’t be happier with our experience at Riverside GMC. Car buying looks different these days but TJ made it simple and was very transparent with costs and fees. We went to several other dealerships shopping around and they were not as transparent and his fees and costs and were generally shady. TJ was responsive and easy to work with. We were able to do all the financing with Robbie (easiest finance guy we’ve worked with in all our car purchases) and shopping over the phone and online vs other dealerships trying to get us to come spend the day sitting around the dealership. Highly recommend Riverside GMC and specifically TJ and Robbie.
Horrible experience. Will never buy nor use services again. Was told service would take 45 min and ended up being there for 2 hours with no updates as to why it was taking so long. When I went up to ask was told “it’ll be just a few more minutes”. 50 minutes later was told I could come do paperwork. Only reason I gave 2 stars is that the girl at the desk realized I had one free oil change left and redid my bill.
I left my car at 7:30 am that morning and had an appointment at 9:30. I called them at 2:00 because no one had ever called me to say it was ready. It was ready but when I got there I had to wait a while because she couldn’t find my paperwork and keys. She went to someone else’s office and had a conversation with them before bringing out my keys. I left and a sensor came on so I went back and she was rude with me so I left. The sensor did go off but she could have had a different attitude.

I took my 2017 Chevy Impala for an oil change at Riverside Chevy Cartersville Ga. My vehicle was not leaking oil or anything. My car started leaking oil the same day that I took it to the dealership. I will never ever again take my vehicle back there for service or repairs. This is horrible.
Riverside did a fantastic job in serving us. We were traveling from Missouri to Florida when our automobiles water pump went out. The service staff was SO helpful, friendly, caring & accommodating. They pre-registered us for service while we were waiting to be towed. They then took the time to make final preparations for parts & service once we arrived, even though they were about to close for the evening. Riverside completed the repairs & had us back on the road by about 1pm the next day. Cost of repair was very resonable as well. Were so grateful for their outstanding service & highly recommend Riverside based upon our experience using them. Thank you Riverside, you were a God-send.
If I could give a zero star I would. I have never had good experience with any riverside car dealer. They only reason I went back was my car broke down and had no other place was close They give you a price and continue to come up with more charges after it has been layed out how much everything will cost with most of everything was covered by warranty still had to pay almost 2000$ for heater seats and a window to be fixed. After having them replaced 4 times in a year. Then they charge a detailed fee for a car that was spotless we got the car dirty and took the time to clean it inside and out before bring it back. They employees are some the rudest I have dealt with. I will not go back to any riverside dealership. I would never recommend one to anyone.
I’m not even sure where to begin.. salesman was a very nice kid, The controller was a very nice lady.As for the sales manager couldn’t be more shady of a character. Told me a truck was in transit was going to be here the following week. Didn’t show up for six weeks! When I looked it was not even in transit when he said was. It was a complete lie!Had to go above his head to get my old truck paid for, he just told me do not make my payments.. good idea! 🤦♂️Sent an email to the general manager about my concerns, never returned my email or my call.. you spent $80,000 on the truck you would think you would get top service and not lied too!When my truck finally showed they did not have a temporary tag that I actually paid for in my tax tag and title. The manager actually told me I’m sorry we don’t have any tags for you. Finally the salesman called the GM and got me a dealer tag till I had to go to the tag office myself to fix their problem. Do not trust them and they are incompetent!If Dan the sales manager tells you it’s raining, look outside to make sure!I’ll stick with Carl black who is a dealership with pride!
I would not recommend this dealership for many reasons. The worst- it took 3 months to receive a tag, I had asked on two separate occasions to have the GM call me he never called. On delivery due to various reasons I had asked if the $65k truck could be dropped off at my home they were unable. Soon after the truck had a defective tire, I reached out to the salesmen to see if the truck had hazard protection, he never contacted me. On the tag I contacted several times via email was supplied with incorrect information, after 3 months a sweet lady named Amy Pledger took 10 minutes and solved the issue. Very basic service issues couldnt be handled by this group.
Austin and the team at Riverside were wonderful! They went above and beyond to provide the best experience we have ever had buying a car. And then to offer us a service package after weve purchased a used car is phenomenal. We would recommend Riverside to anyone and everyone.
Had an excellent experience with Jennifer (customer service rep at counter) today. She took the time to go above and beyond to do what is right for the vehicle and customer. Both the Service manager on duty as well as Jennifer did an excellent job and we will be asking for them from now on!! Happy Customer at this location!!
This was the easiest car purchase experience weve ever had. Austin Moore and his colleagues did an amazing job answering questions, giving expert advise and were very knowledgeable about the products we were interested in purchasing. Our interaction began online, Austin was quick to respond and let us know what he had available in what we were looking for. We were actually looking for a 2021, but in todays market, that is hard to come by. It was just the right timing and we are so glad we stumbled upon this hometown feeling dealership where we were treated with respect and a no BS atmosphere. These guys work on salary and it takes ALL the pressure off everyone, no hassle, no back and forth, we knew we were getting the best deal with no market adjustments. What an incredible experience purchasing our Chevy suburban that our family can grow in for years to come! From the moment I found this suv and connecting with Jose there to drive it home today as been the easiest, best process I could have asked for. We connected with Jose from the moment we saw the car and he speeded up the process for us to get it serviced and ready within a few days when it was going to take weeks originally. He sent us texts and video updates all along the way! Wow did he make us feel so special! He was so kind and personable! We have never had this great of customer service from our trade in value of our other car to driving this one home today. UPDATE: Stephen, the person above Bob, called and let me know that all phone calls are recorded and he listened to Bob tell me it was under warranty. Stephen told me I will not be charged. Very impressed with how he handled the situation.I purchased my Buick Encore from another dealership, but with a factory warranty still in place. I had my car towed to the dealership with Buick Roadside and was told they wouldn’t be able to look at my car for a while, which is fine that they’re busy. HOWEVER, about a week later I received a call from Bob in service letting me know everything would be covered under warranty. Great! Fast forward to today, after having my car for almost 3 weeks, I get a call from Bob letting me know my car is ready, but NOTHING is covered under warranty. After I let him know that he told me 2 weeks ago that everything was covered, he told me he “doesn’t agree” but it’s not an agree or disagree matter? I will not be bringing my car back to this service department after it is picked up and would advise anybody else to stay as far away as possible. Clearly, Bob has no clue what he’s doing and will lie to cover up the misinformation he gave. I will update this review if the service supervisor decides to make this right, otherwise, I could care less what they have to say for themselves.
HUGE shoutout to Caleb and Robbie! After looking at a what seemed like 100 cars and getting nowhere, they made our purchase a breeze. They worked directly with our lender and it took all of 15 minutes to sign the paperwork. I highly recommend them for your car buying needs!
First time dealing with Riverside and Richard provided great service. He was responsive to any request! I was somewhat dreading the amount of time I would be there to complete the purchase, however including the test drive, I was out in under three hours. Overall staff was very friendly.

I am traveling home from Florida and a check engine/transmission light came on. They really took care of me. I had chatted online the night before sitting nervously at the hotel. I recieved an answer in the morning that they would call and let service know that I was coming in. My 2019 Buick Encore was definitely under warranty and they took my vehicle in when I got there. I was in and out on my way home. Thank you for your courteous service and care.
We purchased my escalade from them in April of 2021. While the purchase process was easy, we made the mistake of buying the service plan that goes with the car.Dont expect any level of service from the service department. It takes anywhere between 2-4 phone calls to get any kind of appointment, and lets hope they dont lose the information.The first time, there was no record of the appointment I made for the oil change. The second involved the scratch and dent coverage we had.It took two appointments and half a dozen phone calls. A little bit of communication would go a long way.
Riverside Buick GMC is a great place to buy a car. The sales staff and management Will do whatever They can to help you. I was not under high pressure from our salesman, Collin Cobb, to buy a car just so he could meet his quota. I highly recommend these guys if you’re looking for a new Or used quality vehicle. They actually care about their customers.
Jose’ was awesome. That was the fastest purchase in my history of buying cars. The process was simple, and handled in a very respectable manner. I stated what I wanted, and he delivered!! This is our third purchase this year from Riverside. Both myself and my husband got new cars and now my son has purchased his first car from Riverside also. The customer service is number one and can not be beat. We will always think of them first when we or someone we know needs a new car!
We were approached by Caleb on the lot as we pulled in and he was hands down super polite, a people person and not the typical pushy salesman. From the sales man, sales manager and finance manager we honestly felt like family. There was no pressure to buy… only a promise to take care of us if they earned our business. Very Friendly Staff but not an overall good experience. Based on my visit, was concerned with reliability, experience and organizational skills; also concerned with time taken to complete repairs (with all parts was stated in-stock); concerned with additional maintenance concerns found; and with conversations on severity and possible cause of maintenance concerns found. Was disappointed with overall experience. Choose Cartersville Shop over Rome Shop for repairs.Expected much better.
The salesman Caleb and Sales Manager Nick Riverside GMC in Cartersville are amazing. They take their time and do not push you into anything like many other salesman. They want you to become part of the family at Riverside and not just a customer, who buys today and gone tomorrow. If you are looking for a great team and a family ran business Riverside is the place to come. You will not be disappointed!
The salesman Ricky and the manager JR were great! They listened to what my daughter was looking for in a car and the price/ payment point she wanted. They showed her a some that worked for what she was looking for and she found one she really liked. They were able to keep it in her payment range with no money down and she was able to sign for it by herself! The finance guy (im really bad with names so i apologize) was really good and took the time to fully explain everything to her concerning the paperwork. I will definitely go back there first when the time comes to look for another vehicle.

We had the best experience with Riverside!I told the sales person that we wanted to test drive a specific model, and that we would be driving an hour. When we arrived, the car we were interested in was out front , washed and cleaned, and ready for a test drive.Once we decided to purchase the car, the paperwork took less than thirty minutes! This was the best car-buying experience we have ever had. The dealership genuinely respected our time and our budget!
Editing my original review. Initial experience was good. But not so much since then. Realized recently that the brand new truck that I had bought from them had cheap replacement wipers instead of the quality factory installed ones. Not sure how this happened but would like to have had the dealer step up and put the proper ones on for me. Cant get anyone to return a call or email so I had to pay to have the proper wiper blades put on. Will not return to this dealer as Id be concerned that they might try something similar with more important parts...
My service advisor, Erin, was professional and prompt with pertinent information about my vehicle. I commend her efforts in providing a loaner vehicle on a late notice. My vehicle was in and out in a timely manner - much appreciation to the mechanic for their work.My first experience with the Riverside Cadillac service team has confided me to return for future service.Thank you all for a job well done!
These guys definitely get 5 stars. Austin contacted me first thing Friday morning and gave me all the info I needed via text. We exchanged info throughout the day so he could have everything together and worked out when I arrived after work. Everything was fast, easy, and stress free. I was at the dealership a little over an hour and thats including the test drive. I wouldnt want to do business anywhere else. I LOVE MY CHEVY EQUINOX!!
Caleb was my salesman and will be from now on. He was friendly, helpful and truly a great guy. I went to a number of dealerships and was jerked around nonstop. I had a great experience with them. The experience was so easy and fast. The two salesmen at the dealership were very easy to work with and didnt push me into buying a car. They worked with us to give us a fair deal on our trade in too. It was the first time I ever bought a car where I didnt feel pressured and the process didnt take hours. Caleb assisted us with the purchase of our vehicle. He was very professional and helpful. He answered all of our questions and followed up with me. This was by far the smoothest vehicle purchase I have ever had and it didnt take all day! I loved the no pressure atmosphere and would highly recommend purchasing from this dealership.
While out of town for our daughters basketball tournament, the A/C on our Suburban went out. Called Riverside at 5:30 PM on a Tuesday evening. They said they would take a look at it and help us any way they can. When I dropped it off at 9 the next morning, the guys in Service treated me like they had known me for years. Found out the condenser was bad. They had us back on the road by 2:00 that same day! If the rest of the team at Riverside is anything like the service guys, they have an outstanding organization. If you need any service done on your GM vehicle, I don’t think you’ll find any more helpful, friendly and courteous staff than at Riverside GMC. Certainly helped make our 6 hour ride home so much better, it was 95 degrees that day!!
Soooo different than my many Rome experiences! Everyone was so friendly and willing to help. They took their time with me and were not in a rush to get me out of there. Bob in the service department was most friendly and helpful. This is my new place of business for sure!
We were traveling through and our GMC 3500 had several issues pop up that stranded us. We were able to nurse the truck into Riverside GMC. Bob, our service advisor, allowed us to park our fifth wheel in the back lot for the night. He also went above and beyond any service that I’ve seen. They had no loaner cars while our truck was in service and let us borrow his own personal truck for the night and the next day. Within 24 hours , their service dept had us back on the road and running good. We made it to our final destination in Pigeon Forge. There are not to many people in todays world that go above and beyond, but Bob showed such selfless act and made us feel welcome. Thank you so much and we will definitely pay it forward. If we could give 10 stars we would! Again, thank you!
We traveled to Atlanta this past weekend with my wifes parents. My father in-law had issues with low speed braking one evening coming home from dinner. We contacted on dealer the next morning who told him to drive it back to Savannah and contact his local dealer?!?!? We then called Riverside Buick and told them the situation. They informed us that we probably needed the vacuum pump, and they where on national back order. They then told us they had two on the shelf, but they were reserved for two other clients. Sara in service said she would contact those clients to see if they would be willing to let us have the part since we were in transit. Much to our delight the first client they spoke with allowed for them to give the part to us. We were on our way just 2 short hours later.Talk about customer service and going beyond the call of duty. I want to thank everybody that was involved with getting my In-Laws back on the road and ensuring their vehicle was safe. What a great testament to quality customer service! Thank you!!
Fantastic experience here in buying a new vehicle. TJ our salesman was super nice and no pressure, just helpful and informative. Once we settled on a vehicle the buying experience was quick with little haggle. The finance checkout was also quick and we are extremely pleased. We will use this dealership for service and future buying needs.
I had a great experience at Riverside Buick Gmc. Collin was the sales representative that helped me get my car. They had the best customer service of any dealership I have ever been to. Collin was waiting outside to greet me when I arrived. I havent been to a dealership yet that does that. And I dont even live in Georgia but they helped me through every step of the process so I could get my car. If youre looking for a new vehicle then this dealership is where you need to go.
This dealership needs to have more availability. My car is having engine issues. Its still under warranty. Conveniently, there are no appointments available until October 14th. Its September 18th!!!! So Im supposed to wait a month until my car can be seen about. Thats ridiculous!!
Kay assisted us and was very knowledgeable and informative about the vehicles we were looking at. She was very peraonable and easy to talk to and helped my husband and I find the perfect car for us and our budget. We had a wonderful experience at Riverside Buick GMC and would definitely refer our family and friends.
I had to call them several times to find out what was going on with repairs on my truck. I was told Friday that they were contacting extended warranty before they start repair. I called back several hours later and they were still trying to contact them. Fast forward to Monday morning. I call and no answer at normal business hours. I wait another hour and call to find out they are still trying to contact extended. I was a bit upset because I was having to borrow cars from family members for 3 days and now a fourth day. Around 3pm I called back and got the same reply as the first several attempts. Finally at the end of the day I received my first call back explaining that the truck was covered under warranty and they would start repairs the next day. Which meant another day for me to find a way to pick my kids up from school. Finally Tuesday I did receive any calls so I called to check the status in afternoon. All this trouble over a simple leak that I could have fixed myself. Finally finally evening my truck was done and they told me I could pick it up. When I got there they said I owed $172 dollars and I asked why? I was told it was covered by the warranty. They replied to me that the it didn’t meet the $200 deductible so I had to pay. I was really upset when I looked at the receipt and it was a $40 pan they had to replace and charged so much in labor for for a 2 hour problem that could have been fixed in 1 day down the road for much cheaper. I didn’t even tell them to do the repair. So what was done was done and I asked why I wasn’t told anything about a dollar amount before they started doing work on the truck that if I had know that I would have taken it else where. In the end I had to go all the way to the manager and explain my problem and how I’ve been out a vehicle for 5 days now over something simple that the warranty didn’t even cover. I was very upset at this point and it was the end of the business day and I needed my truck so I paid the outrageous charge and the manager Jennifer told me she would call me the next day to make things right. Luckily I received a call from her first thing this morning where we agreed on the correct price. I appreciate she did that but getting to that point was beyond the worst experience I’ve ever had with with any repair shop or dealership. I would never recommend anyone use that location and my perspective of Chevy in general has completely changed. I didn’t feel valued during the entire process.
Case was a great help and essential to the purchase of my truck. His personalized salesmanship and professionalism ensured the buying process was swift and met even my unexpressed needs...not to mention, I actually enjoyed our conversations during our test drives. Was very pleased with our sales person case. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful and getting my New car to me as fast as possible. The finance person was just as knowledgeable and was very thorough with his recommendations. I will be back to purchase my next new car.
I am extremely pleased that after driving around in that area for over 2 hours that I stopped at your location to look at your inventory. In so doing, I found the truck that was the exact one that I was looking for within the price range that I could afford and I come time to check out everything came my way and it seems like you really cared about the way that I felt dealing with you. I want to say thank you for the courtesy that I was extended, the extra energy that was used to get the financing down to where I wanted it the cleanliness of the vehicle which is beyond comprehensions. I had a few items wrong with it which could be fixed if it wasnt on a weekend but I overlooked that. I have the truck now I enjoy it I drove it close to 200 miles the next day after purchase and I think the truck needs to stay where it is with me .I want to say a special thank you to Colin who was my sales rep. Even though hes just starting, he did a fine job. Either by making me happy or staying within the guidelines that he had to work with. THANK YOU::Colin. It did not go unnoticed. If you stay on the level you are operating on now, I foresee you going higher in the company.The main & only major problem I have to say anything about would be the display of the AMERICAN FLAGS. As a Disabled Veteran, Please, I beg of you, replace the Flags. There is NO excuse now for them to be tattered!!! I also understand there is a new building which will be eructed VERY soon. Still, that is NO REASON to let MY/OURFlag to get in the condition which it is in now .Please correct this IMMEDIATELY as it hurts me to see it like this.Thank you for your time and energy.Keep up the good attitude & work.Sincerely,Lee
Wonderful dealership! As soon as we walked in we felt at home. They made us feel very appreciated. Sales manager J.R. was wonderful and made it happen. And I cant say enough about my salesman Robbie. He went all the way out! Very easy going and polite. You can tell he didnt want to just sell us a truck. He made sure it was what we wanted. Awesome people! I would recommend Riverside to anyone.
The service desk people (Sarah and Rusty) were very kind and helpful. I was stranded on a trip between Ky and Florida with a small trailer in tow. They gave me a ride to pick up a one way rental vehicle to finish the trip. They also assisted me getting the trailer hooked up. Everybody concerned just had that glad to be of help attitude. I was very impressed. The repair was fine. No problems. Chevrolet warranty covered everything. Riverside had my vehicle ready and waiting when I returned from Florida to pick it up.
When I first went to Riverside Cartersville, I did not receive a very good experience, but they reached out to me, so I gave them a second chance about a week later. Austin was the salesman that worked with us, he was very professional, not pushy and helped us with our new car purchase. The transaction was smooth, and pretty quick.
We’ve been here for two days in a row and nothing has been done to our truck . We call here and get the run around all day long. Finally we get up here and there has been no repairs on our truck . We came to get an front end alignment air conditioning serviced and computer installation and nothing has been done in two days .So I would not recommend getting your car or truck serviced here.
Every one was so wonderful. I was so amazed at how relaxed we were looking for a new car. Never felt pressured . I am so happy we decided to drive to RiversideBuick GMC.We actually check other dealerships, closer to our home and Riverside was #1 on our decisdion. We will highly recommrnend all our friends.

I found the car I’ve been looking for over the past 6 months on Buick.com on a Sunday at this dealership. Case called me first thing Monday and made it happen quickly and easily. The team there was great making the process fast. Best car buying experience! I love my new Enclave.
Riverside Buick GMC and Case, our salesperson, were all AMAZING!We had 5 people headed to Daytona in our Suburban, pulling a trailer with 3 Harleys, when we were involved in a crash on 75 South. Our Suburban was totaled when we hit a trailer that came loose from its vehicle and crossed the highway in front of us.After getting a little rest, we called Riverside the next morning to see if they had anything that would pull our trailer and hold all of us. They had just taken a Suburban in on trade, so they did a safety check, oil change, and we drove it off the lot in less than an hour.The staff were all great to work with, and we are so thankful they had a vehicle for us. They were the reason we were able to continue on to our vacation. THANK YOU!!!
Changing my 4 star review to 1 star because shortly after buying a certified pre-owned car I took it to the dealership near my house because the brakes were squealing. Apparently the rotars were warped which is not covered under the warranty as it is part of routine maintenance, such I understand but I had had the car for 3 weeks. I paid to have them fixed and notified Riverside of my issue and that I expected them to help cover the cost since they supposedly completed a full however-many-point inspection that comes with a certified pre-owned. Clearly that was not done as this issue wasnt caused in the 3 weeks Id had the car. I was told they would speak to the sales manager and get back to me which has not happened after repeated calls and voice-mails. I initially had a good experience but Im completely appalled at the lack of follow through care for their customers.
Service reception just complained about how bad she felt from the moment I arrived. The service waiting area is pretty bad with the leaking ceiling and exposed insulation. The issue with squealing brakes on a vehicle with 1500 miles on it was not resolved and barely even addressed.
I was having an issue with the transmission in my 2017 Sierra and Rich in automotive was awesome! He took time to test drive with me and explain what was going on. He helped me with my warranty info and had the problem fixed by the next day, even without having an appointment.
3 stars is generous. We were due for an oil change and tire rotation on our Commercial GMC 3500 Flat bed. We live closer to Cartersville so we used Riverside Buick GMC in Cartersville instead of the dealer we purchased the truck from. This is our 2nd time using this dealer and will be the last. Both times have left a bad taste in my mouth. Last time was like pulling teeth. This time making the appointment was not easy, and while the customer service person who booked the appointment was not rude she was less than friendly. Not only did they not call when the truck was done, but when we picked up the truck the tires had not been rotated. No explanation why. The oil change was over $100. I was given a Free Tire Rotation for my next visit, which will do me no good. Customer Service and organization at this facility are lacking. Additional training is needed.
Wow I had an amazing experience at Riverside Gmc today, Christina and her manager took really good care of me in finding the perfect jeep today. If you guys need a trust worthy company and staff to help find your next vehicle please go there. Im very thankful for all there help!!!
My experience was horrible and Im the type of guy that dont complain, I will not recommend you and I will not be back. The service manager told me they would have a diagnostics within 2 days and I went there on day day 7 and ask how the truck was doing and got an attitude from the service manager, I said ill tell you what, let me get my keys and I took it to Days Chevrolet in Acworth and they were completely finished with work and diagnostic within 3 days.
Everyone at Riverside was great to work with. I bought a new SUV and they worked hard to keep me within my budget. Jared was an awesome salesman and I never felt like he was being pushy. I would definitely buy from Riverside again. Thanks Riverside for making my car buying experience top notch!
I bought my 2019 GMC Acadia there.ok..Im editing my review..just to be more precise .... the sellers are very good. Of course they are sellers and they get you hooked to get a good offer, but I will be prescient in what I will say, without disrespect to anyone but the customer service is horrible, they are not friendly ... and not at all friendly and when you go to service the car to the maintenance section they serve reluctantly and very unfriendly ... I will not buy a car here again. ... never ... they want to charge me all the time for a service that I have free up to 70k miles ... its always horrible ...
I have been there a couple of times and could not be happier with the service they provided. The service department was able to determine what was wrong with the electric system and it has not blown a fuse since.Got an oil change and brake check. Good service tech Rich takes care of everything.
We had a great sales experience with Austin at the Riverside dealership in Cartersville. He was very helpful in setting up the test drive and explaining all the great features of the car in which I was interested. Once we decided to purchase, he and the finance manager were very quick and efficient in getting me the best deal and preparing all the paperwork. Before we left the dealership, Austin helped me set up my phone access to the car and explained what he would do to get us started with the myBuick and OnStar capabilities of the car and he followed through promptly. The entire process did not take long and we truly appreciated that fact. Austin even followed up with a very sincere thank you message and answered a couple questions for me the following day. This experience was night and day from my last car buying experience - a total pleasure!

We wanted to let you know what a wonderful job Sarah Burnett did in helping us while in transit back to Savannah. Our Silverado trucks vacuum brake pump failed on Sunday night, so we called your service department early Monday morning. Sarah was so helpful and called another customer to ask if they were willing to allow us to use their promised vacuum pump. Not only did she provide shuttle service to our Inn, but the pump was fixed in a few hours and we were on our way home! We are so very thankful for the prompt service and attention to our problem.
I experienced a transmission problem while traveling near Cartersville. Riverside Buick GMC got me in right away (near closing time) to diagnose the root cause. The repairs needed were significant, but all things considered, fairly priced. Their customer service was excellent! If I lived closer, Id use them for routine care and maintenance needs.
Extremely satisfied with the service department. Easy to get an appointment. Super Cheap oil change from a dealership. Wayyyyyyyyyyy better than dealing with Terry Reid! They have turned that place around. Also, Larry kindly gave me a ride around the corner to eat and was great company to talk too. By the time I got back my truck was pulled up and ready! Top Notch guys keep it up.
It was a very wet and rainy morning as I was driving through the dealerships in Cartersville GA looking for a new/used truck, went to all three on Main Street, then to the Ford dealership on Tennessee Street, driving up one row then back down the other, at no point did a sales representative come out into the pouring rain to greet me. I then drove through Riverside no sooner i had made my way down the first row in the back of the lot, a young lady walked out to my car and introduced herself as Christina and ask if I needed anything. I replied no thanks I am only window shopping. She said okay let me know if you have any questions. I eventually drove away as I didnt see anything that caught my eye not within my price range. The next day I went looking the dealerships in town, this time I had my son with me to help me pick something out. Again raining and cold outside we drove through all the lots, still nobody bothered to come outside in the rain to greet me, we even stopped the car and looked at the sticker prices on several trucks at many of the dealerships. One last stop, Riverside Buick, as I pulled into the lot he cames Christina with her red little rain jacket on walking up to my car, she said hello again, is there something I could help you with. I then told her I was looking for a truck within a certain price range and had to be able to tow my camper. She immediately pointed out three trucks to look at and went to get the keys. We spoke on pricing and financing possibilities o the two trucks I liked the best, but due to financial reasons I couldnt get approved with current situation or they wanted too much money as a down payment that I didnt have. So my son and I left the dealership. The next day Christina called me she said I have three different banks that I have been approved from for either of the vehicles and asked me if I wanted to come and test drive them. I told here Id be right there. She went over the details with me once I arrived and we took both trucks for a test drive through town she continued to say no pressure, I want to make sure you get the truck you want after the test drive I picked the one I liked the best, we signed the paperwork and Christina had the truck cleaned and detailed for me. And I come back after lunch and drove off in my new truck.I know this post is long but I wanted to capture the commitment and the willingness Christina had to get me into a car that fit my financial situation, my needs, and my bank account. I must have drove past 100 other car salesman during thise three days and due to the rain and the cold only Christina at Riverside wanted to come outside in the weather and help me, she was amazing throughout the entire process I would never look at another place to purchase a vehicle as I am sure I will be disappointed in their service after this experience with Riverside Buick GMC I have received.Thank you Christina, and thank you to the entire team at Riverside Buick GMC for making this a very comfortable and pleasant process what a wonderful job they all did to make this possible.Thank youMark
I bought my Yukon here after seeing it online. I called and spoke with David on a Saturday and put $1000 down and drove down from Tennessee the next week to pick it up. He helped me get through the financing online and via text so it was a quick and easy experience when I got there. Doug helped with the financing and paperwork at the dealership. I was shocked because of the cost of the oil change. The last time I had my oil changed and tires rotated it was under $65. I wasnt charged for my tires being rotated either. I have the records from the past several oil changes there before riverside took over and they show prices between $52-$62. My back tire has paint on it and was on the back passenger side when I came to the dealership this time and its still there after my tire rotation that I was charged for. I definitely wont be back
I only chose 1star because it made me. They are horrible! I will NEVER take another vehicle to them. They have had my vehicle 1 month now and its still literally sitting there taken apart and not fixed. I keep getting the run around and blame is placed on different people. Im being over charged and charged different prices than discussed!One portion was dropped to the price I was told. As it should have been. However it was still way over priced and my vehicle has been gone for over a month. You, as a manager, should step in when someone is upset over a definite service failure. However the lone staff member was left to handle it all by herself. You never once implemented any customer service skills and tried to smooth anything over.
I was charged over $500 for an oil change and two free recalls. I did agree to $165 charge to diagnose the problem with ac however, I was not aware I would have to pay to have it recharged even when it doesn’t work...... I was also charged $60 for them to put in missing blinker bulbs and take them back out because I didn’t want to pay them $215 extra to replace 4 bulbs. I am not very happy and I will not ever take my vehicle back there to be worked on. The service writers were nice but I do not agree with the dealership’s hidden and unknown charges.

I have always been a big fan of the Autotrader website and they had posted a vehicle there I was interested in. The sales representative sent me some additional photos and was very knowledgeable about the car. All of the staff was friendly and courteous. The buying process was swift and painless. I drove 70 miles to buy this certified used vehicle and I would do it again.

Great service and flexibility as I researched whether to purchase a new mid size truck or a used full-sized truck. I learned about the positive attributes of a GM certified pre-owned vehicle. My research included contacting 4 different GMC dealers across the southeast and Riverside stood head and shoulders above the rest.
Took my car in on Tuesday for repair. They were great to deal with. Brandy called me to let me know the costs of each item before proceeding. I also loved their appt. reminder service, so I didnt forget. Their follow up so far has been great. I would recommend using this newer dealership. I am also talking with Robby in the next week about a car purchase. Robby took the time to call me while my care was being repaired. Great service!

The manager, finance guy and the sales person TJ were all easy to work with. Even with the virus going on we were able to have a few laughs while we conducted our business. They did take the virus serious by keeping a reasonable distance and offering hand sanitizer. They did clean the car while we did the paperwork however you couldnt really call it detailed. But to be fair the man doing it didnt really have much time to get it done. Overall it was a good experience at the dealership. As for the 2017 GMC Terrain weve only had it two days now so a little early to comment on the car itself.
Very Poor service from the service dept.I went in for an oil change and tire rotation on a 2020 GMC Denali. I was told 1 hour (took almost 2). Had an appointment as well.When I got in the truck I noticed the Fuel Filter Warning was still on. I had not remembered to request them to change the fuel filter. (my fault). You would think service tech would notice this as the vehicle notifies you as soon as you start engine. They should have notified me and I would have done that. I then checked tire pressure sensors to see if they were reset. (No) Not only that, air pressure was low in one tire. Service tech hadnt checked air pressure or reset pressures. I went back inside to request a refund for tire rotation as I didnt think he had done that either. The service tech came out to speak to me and apologized for not resetting sensors or checking air pressure. (Completely unacceptable service to me) He said was in a hurry due to Covid. I said Covid??? Not Covid, maybe because he either didnt care or was incompetent. This is ridiculous!!! What else did he not do completely? I asked to speak to the Service manager and was told he wasnt in. Another person said he would make my next oil change free. The service tech said he would check air pressure and reprogram sensors. I didnt have time as I was already late for an another appointment. He did reset sensors. While he was doing that another person offered me 1/2 off my next oil change. Not only do they have poor quality service techs, but they definitely dont have it together either.This dealership has very poor customer service and poor quality service techs in the service department.This is why I gave them a very poor rating,
Although the on-line reservation I made was not showing in their computer I was taken care of pretty quickly. The dealer service department was pretty busy but my vehicle was checked out fairly quickly and it was determined that the problem was the left front hub. The part had to be ordered, so I will have to come back when the part arrives. The whole procedure was pretty quick and all the people I dealt with were very courteous. Overall a good experience.
We bought a used vehicle here in September. The sales process was fine, and we even bought a 3 year warranty that the finance person assured us would “cover everything, bumper to bumper”, I was initially hesitant to purchase this, but he was very convincing that it would fully cover the vehicle, with the exception of normal maintenance items like oil changes, brakes, tires etc.and that the warranty would be honored anywhere. Also, as we were getting into our vehicles to leave the dealership, the salesman came over to thank us, and he told us that our first two oil changes and one detail would be at no charge. We didn’t ask for this and weren’t expecting it.I noticed that the reverse lights weren’t working, and it was time for the first oil change. I made an appointment to have the oil change done, and the reverse lights looked at. Upon arrival at the service department I explained again, as I had on the phone when making the appointment, what I was there for, showed the warranty paperwork in case it was needed for the reverse light repair (I had already changed the bulbs, but that didn’t solve the problem). The service attendant, who was very nice, had never seen a vehicle warranty before, at least not this one that I bought from the dealership. After about 30 minutes of calling around inside the dealership, and walking back to the sales area, they seem to have figured it out. Next I’m told that they don’t know anything about the free oil change, they can’t honor that, the salesman that made the promise would have to authorize it, but of course he’s not here and they don’t know his phone number. Right. This all after I am waiting at this dealership for 45 minutes. They will change the oil, for $49.95. I’ll go somewhere that will do the job for much less.Bottom line - if you are desperate to do business with this shady outfit, make sure you get absolutely EVERYTHING in writing. There is nothing worse in a business than to make a commitment to someone and then claim you don’t know anything about it.I really thought that the day of outfits like this had passed, but apparently not.
Robbie was awesome to work with in buying my new GMC truck. He worked hard for me, was honest, and put no pressure on me to make the purchase. I could not have had a better experience. The finance department also worked hard to get me the best possible rate out there.
It was overall a very awesome experience. They were very helpful and patient and I recommend them for all your automobile needs from buying a vehicle to your maintenance on any of your vehicles. TJ Forsyth was so helpful and very knowledgeable, everyone was really, but TJ was very patient with me. They know how to treat people and very attentive to the customers needs and wants, and explained everything in simple terms and they are upfront with you and not beat around the bush like other dealerships tend to do.
Good quick service, good price for oil change and good special on tires, buy three get one free in May and I believe June also. Make sure you get the total price up front, they came up on me wanting $109.00 labor for mounting the tires that took two hours and on top of that they charged $5.45 as a shop charge to create a REPAIR ORDER, one sheet of paper. I learned my lesson.
I had sent an inquiry in on a Nissan Maxima. TJ reached out very promptly and answered all my questions prior to coming in. I got there and he had us in and out with an amazing deal in less than 2 hours! Thank you TJ for an AWESOME experience! If you are in the market hit TJ up.

I had researched the vehicle, alternatives and the current market. I returned to negotiate the selling price with an offer on the second visit. The process was smooth and to the point. I went to 2 other dealerships before I went to riverside and no one helped me. As soon as I got to riverside Tj Forsyth came out to help me. He was nice and helpful. He wasn’t trying to force me to get any vehicle. If you are looking for a good dealership to go to, go to riverside and ask for tj.
Having purchased both new and pre-owned vehicles in past years, I was impressed with the ease of the experience at Riverside. Right from the beginning I felt no pressure. The salesman seemed friendly and genuine. As as woman, I was not condescended to in discussions! how nice that was!I dint buy the car that day, but over the next week I asked for several pieces of information to help me make a better decision. 2022-02-21This review is of the service department only. I brought my 2018 GMC Sierra in for scheduled transmission service ( flush and refill ). A couple of days later my truck started shifting gears very jerky and abruptly, and making odd noises. We’ll it turns out that I was 4 quarts low of trans fluid! Correct fluid level is 6 quarts, I had 2. Looks like I got a flush and no fill…. I also had dents on my roof ( evidently from when it was on the lift). I talked with Vicky who is the Riverside service manager. She was helpful and took care of the body damage and gave me an extended warranty to cover possible transmission problems that may occur later on. I took my truck to another shop to get trans service done correctly and all seems fine so far. I have been to the Riverside Rome locations ( GMC and Toyota), And have had good experiences at both. I will continue to take my wife’s Highlander to Riverside Toyota of Rome, I have been very happy with the service there. I am very dissatisfied with and highly recommend avoiding the service center at Riverside GMC of Cartersville.

Great service from scheduling to drop off and pickup. Much more personable service than the larger Cadillac dealers with mega service departments. I will always get service here.

2022-06-13I just got my touch screen diagnosed because it had gone black. Ive got an extended warranty but wasnt told that plugging a USB cable back in that had worked loose wouldnt be covered, before the repair was made. Sticker shock was what Id call it. $238 dollars was what I was charged but I had no idea what the charge would be till I got the bill. I think a heads up would have been good so Id have known if I wanted to pay that much. Nothing was replaced, just plugged back in !On disability and a fixed income, I dont have money just laying around.*****After speaking to Kayla and she explained in more detail about the cost of the service and that they were willing to adjust the cost due to the extra time it took that I wasnt told about from the start I dont feel as shocked.I believe that the extended warranty that I have should have covered most or all of the cost. People be aware that extended warranties dont cover everything.It wasnt the dealership I had a problem with it was more to do with the warranty. Especially after what it cost to extend it.Anything Ive had done in the past, including today has been quality work.

2022-05-02I had doubts and concerns about getting my vehicle repaired with a new transmission and window motors replaced with an extended warranty but Kayla the service manager took excellent care of me and my car! She went above and beyond she should have and made sure everything was perfect! Totally recommend them and Kayla gets 10 gold stars for her self! I’ve never met anyone as nice and humble as she is!

2021-10-14Caleb Parker came through when we were in dire straights cus on our move to Texas our vehicle blew the motor and was in need of a new one to meet our deadline. We made it because he did an awesome job working out the problem and delivering. We are totally grateful for him and Riverside. Cartersville, Georgia will forever be in our memories.
