Called to make an appt to have my radio serviced. Was told they dont do appointments, its first come first served. I show up and am told that I would need to leave my car for at least a week. Its unreasonable to think people can be without their car for a week or more. They should start doing appointments so people arent just left without a car for an undisclosed amount if time. The employees seemed just as irritated by this policy as me. All the employees were very nice however.
March 2022: “props” to Rick in Service Dept!! we live out of town & our daughter is a college student in Macon. Recently she had her Ford Escape’s gear shift to freeze, leaving her without a way to drive the car. I called & spoke with Rick in service department. He was very kind, most helpful & got the car in for repair quicker than expected. He kept in regular communication with me and took care of us with much excellence! Shout out to the transmission mechanic also for knowing exactly the problem, identifing easy fix & repairing…back like new!
I took my car into the shop to have a new clutch installed. Two days later it goes to making even worse noise. Now they are refusing to fix it. $621 to fix something and it not even fixed. I Wouldn’t take my car or truck here. Nor would I ever do business with them again they’re not trustworthy nor honest. The people working there have a bad attitude and aren’t even professional. DONT GO HERE ‼️‼️‼️
Called in for service appointment for my Mach E. A Service rep ( women) told me drop it of and it may take few weeks to to get to it. when i asked to have an appointment she said no appointments and they will get to it when they can in next few weeks.I am not sure if they think its a car or just a lawn mower.HI Lindsay, I called you on 6th of July and left Voice mail. Its 14th of July with no response from you ? Do you have that many complaints and you can not call or just this is a PR stunt??
After spending months and months in Atlanta searching for a 2020 Lincoln Aviator and not having much success finding the one we wanted, my husband and I decided to give Riverside Ford Lincoln in Macon a try. We were introduced to salesman, Darrell Howard who took great care of us. While the salesmen in Atlanta would not return our phone calls, Mr. Howard was very prompt in responding to all of our questions and concerns. He found the perfect vehicle for us. We hadnt purchased a new vehicle in over 10 years, but Mr. Howard made the process extremely smooth for us. He was very personable and spent a great deal of time showing us the many features on our new car. We certainly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new Ford or Lincoln. Even if you think the vehicle you want is a unicorn, Im certain Mr. Howard can find it and at a great deal! This was my first time purchasing a vehicle from Riverside Ford. When I arrived, I was greeted at the entrance by a gentleman who immediately asked how he may assist. After answering his questions, he took care of my intent of purchasing a Ford Expedition. This was one the smoothest transaction to purchase a vehicle I’ve had. The offer made was except-able without hassle, which is unusual. I highly recommend Riverside Ford for your next purchase of a Ford product.
Everyone at Riverside Ford was wonderful! They were all exceptionally friendly, professional, and very helpful with purchasing my car. This was my first time buying a vehicle and Trent made the process effortless and enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and I am so glad that I bought my first car from him at Riverside. We had a wonderful experience buying a used Ford F-150 from Riverside Ford a couple of months ago. Our salesman was excellent and the whole process was quick and painless. Sadly, immediately after purchasing the vehicle, the brand new battery began to discharge overnight requiring the truck to be jumped off nearly every morning for no obvious reason. Last week, we took the truck for this as it is under warranty. Upon returning today to pick the truck up, the service department was first unable to locate the keys. After a 30 minute search, we found the truck unlocked on the lot with a dead battery. It apparently sat unlocked at the dealership for 5 days with the battery issue not addressed or corrected. The battery was “tested” when it first arrived after being driven over an hour to the dealership so of course it had a charge. Only after we arrived and the truck required 2 jump boxes to start did the service department begin to assess the issue and search for a cause. After being unable to locate the cause, we asked for a loaner vehicle so my husband could get to work tomorrow. We were told they had no vehicles available. After 2.5 hours at the dealership, the service manager acted as if he was doing us a favor by replacing the already new battery and sent us on our way. While the manager did comp an oil change we had done, the customer service was severely lacking. Not only was the mechanical issue not addressed until we arrived today, our vehicle sat unlocked in downtown Macon likely for 5 days at this dealership. Given the dealership had no loaner vehicles available, our only option was to take the truck with the new battery and “see if it happens again”. It’s disheartening to pay over $50,000 for a truck that needs to be jumped off every morning however I can assure you that if the battery issue continues, we will not be seeking service or maintenance at Riverside Ford. We will instead use our local Ford dealership.
While receiving the recall service, I requested an engine oil change and tire rotation service, and left the car in the morning. They said it would take 2 hours, and I called before pickup, but I heard only the sound of forwarding and came directly, but only provided a recall service. I really dont like the customer service. The recall service manager said that there were no parts for a year, and I only received it now.Updated. I spent all my break time and after work I check my car. It doesn’t work. I received a recall service due to a problem with the rear camera, but what worked well does not work. lol I have to get a service again. I’m worried.
Went there to go look for a new SUV, was looking at vehicles for about 15mins, was never approached by a salesman, I was interested in an Expedition but still no contact with a salesman and I even tried calling the sales department, couldnt get through to anyone. Wasted about 30-40 mins just to drive across the street and go to the Chevy dealership.
We had a wonderful experience buying our new Ford Expedition. The entire sales team, Tasha, Kevin, and Christen, did a great job making sure we were well taken car of. Tasha did an amazing job making sure everything was perfect before we drove our car off the lot. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and energetic. This was the absolute best car buying experience we have ever had! We will definitely return to Riverside Ford when my husband needs a new truck.
After my last BAD experience with the service department at Riverside Ford the Service Manager asked me to give them another try and told me that my oil change would be complimentary. I went back for my next oil change and service and although the wait time was better and the staff were not rude like before, my oil change was not complimentary.
With this being my first “Real” car buying experience I have to say it was GREAT! Super shoutout to Darrell Howard I been knowing him for some time now and not only is he a good man but a GREAT salesman. He helped me with all my paperwork, answered every question I had, and we even got a low quote on my insurance. If you want a good deal without thinking you’re being played I definitely recommend him. I walked in today with hope and drove out with a 2018 Ford Focus. Thanks to everyone at Ford !
Best experience we have ever had shopping for a new vehicle. I had my eyes on a Ford Bronco. I first fealty with Jessica in the internet sales and I set up an appointment to come in. I was greeted by my salesman, Kenneth Deal. All I can say is it was a fantastic experience. From the GM down to the finance and insurance, it was easy. They were fair on my trade and fair on the price of the vehicle. I am extremely satisfied with my experience at Riverside Ford. I have bought and traded cars for the better part of 30 years and this was the best experience I’ve had. So after me and my husband were traveling to Atlanta we had a catastrophic breakdown on our vehicle upon arrival the owner made it possible for us to get our vehicle repaired even though they were backed up and they helped us even with my husband having a bad attitude because he was stressed out definitely recommend this dealership.
Reggie Henderson, not only sold my wife an Escape, but helped me (not tech savvy) get my Android Auto set up on my F150 (which Id purchased from a different dealership). He was friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. He put us at ease and made us feel comfortable for quite a few HOURS. All I can say is....if the wife is happy, Im happy. And Im happy.I wanted to give 4.5 stars ONLY BECAUSE he didnt get us a burger & fries. :) But other that that, top notch experience.Thanks Reggie, for everything.
Not a fan of a dealership trying to sell you services during an oil change that would void your warranty. Also their communication is terrible! If youre fixing a wheel, you need a rim AND a tire. If you tell me to come by because you have rim but no tire for it is pointless! The people in the service department dont talk to each other about messages or calls or visits, not do they make sure they have everything they need to fix your car when youve called for the 5th time to get a wheel fixed. Horrible, terrible service
Due to shortages on the F-150 all around the South East, I searched well outside my local dealers. All of them including the local dealers were placing much higher than retail numbers on their vehicles. Riverside was fair, honest and easy to work with. I highly recommend this dealer.
I has looking for a certain color Explorer & they didn’t have it, Darrell told my husband that he would find it for me.. I got a call a few days later that he found it & would have it soon. My experience was GREAT!! Darrell was amazing & the finance manager was quick getting us taken care of. You have my business for now on!
This is my 4th purchase from Riverside Ford. Tasha Wheeler was my sales person this time. I worked the deal with her online, and once we agreed on everything, i came down and signed the papers. She had the truck clean and ready to go. I was in the dealership for less than an hour. Tasha and the whole team was awesome!!
I received an email inviting me to call and schedule a date, and time to bring my car in to be serviced. I made the call set up the date and time to be there for service. The date was Dec. 6, 2021 @ 9:30 am. I arrived on the lot at 9:24 am. It was waayyy AFTER 12 noon before my car was brought to me to leave. Then as I was about to pull my door closed there were black mechanics hand smudges where I would pull that door closed.
I was working on a tight time frame when I stopped by to check out a new F-150. Colby gave me one of the best experiences I’ve had buying. I was in and out in a brand new truck faster than I’ve ever been. The sales manager was awesome, the finance department was quick and efficient, the whole experience was definitely 5 stars. Will be buying again!
We were extremely pleased with our salesman Earl! The dealership was very fair and they kept their word on everything the said over the phone! They were respectful ofOur time and our needs. I went for a oil change and the service was quick and professional I didnt have to worry about someone sabotaging my car for more money, they did inspect my tires and recommended my front tires needed replacement.. something I was putting off because Ive gotten tires from somewhere else before and they sold me duds. Since they were so honest and professional I thought Id give them a shot with the tires and the guy Mike gave me a list of tires and offered but didnt pressure me into extra offers and because of that I will be bringing my Ford there every time I need work, great price for high quality work!
The staff are (mostly) very nice, however, everything seems to be very unorganized. When we first called we were told they don’t do appointments for service and we would need to bring our vehicle around 7 in the morning and hope they can get to it the same day, which I have never heard of from a dealership. The next time we called I was told that I would receive a call back to schedule a date and time to bring my vehicle in, to which I never received a return call. This happened 3 times. I had to physically take my vehicle to the service area for them to finally take my vehicle, where it sat for 4 days before anyone even attempted to diagnose the issue. I understand everywhere is backed up, especially now, but if that were the case we should have been notified from the start of delays in service. We also had to call periodically to check the status of the vehicle since they never did so. Our vehicle was ready a day prior to the phone call that we finally received notifying us that our vehicle was ready (after we called again).
Could not be more pleased with the service we received. Showed up at 5:00pm, as they were closing. Told to return by 7:00 AM on Friday. Nicole, a Service Rep could not have been more helpful. We were first in line to see what our problem was. David, the Service Rep, brought us back to show us as we were headed to Tampa. Jerry-rigged the system, gave us the part number we needed to correct the problem. I went in the dealership to trade in my 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan and walked out with a 2020 Ford Escape! Ask for sales professional Craig Cox and he will set you up right. I would not generally put a review, but Riverside Ford emailed with a link to do so. Please note this review is regarding our F-150 and its current problems ONLY. Took the truck in, spent a fair amount to have it fixed. The VERY NEXT DAY, same problem happened with the truck, and it is back at Riverside Ford for further repair. Not happy at all.
We saw the vehicle were interested in on the internet. Great price, so we decided to make the trip to see it. Loved it and the no pressure of the dealership. Gave us a great deal on our old car, we hadn’t planned on trading it but couldn’t refuse the deal. They helped keep our kids entertained so we could finish the paperwork up. Would deal with again!!!
I AM NOT IMPRESSED AND WISH I HAD NEVER BOUGHT THIS CAR HERE!!Bought my car in October. The speaker went funky within a month. They don’t take appointments so I dropped my car off on a Monday evening and expected to be contacted on Tuesday for a pickup time. On Tuesday, hours passed without any calls. I called four times trying to find out any info. Never could get a straight answer. They finally give me my car back around 5-6pm. They ordered the speaker...had it but never called to tell me it was here. Yes, it was around Thanksgiving. I understand. That’s why I called and left a message on Black Friday in the afternoon that was never returned. I was BEYOND furious when I finally spoke to someone the Monday after thanksgiving who was able to confirm that they had had the part for a WEEK. I dropped my car off again and was assured that even though they were a bit behind they would call me. SPOILER: they did not. I called at 4:55p today and *shocker* my car was ready. It’s too late now for me to be able to pick it up before they close AT SIX. Horrible customer service and lots of empty promises. I will NOT bring my car back here again.IPDATE: my speaker is worse than before. I don’t know why they would let me pick up a vehicle that the issue was still not resolved.
I love a Ford and luckily owning one means you will likely never need to return to a dealership for repairs. That being said we had a truck brought in for Transmission switch and Radio replacement. The radio was on a 2 month back order but magically arrived 3 days later when I asked to pick the truck up. Fast forward 2 months and the stereo is still acting up and I honestly believe its the original stereo and not the 800 dollar replacement... That said the transmission hasnt had any issues since the repair and that was the main issue.
I want to thank Mr. Darrell Howard and Riverside Ford for an amazing experience. Darrell cares about his customers and treats them just like family! He helped us every step of the way and made sure we got the vehicle we wanted. I highly recommend Darrell and Riverside Ford for any new or used car purchase. I did an internet purchase and was directed to a salesperson when I arrived. The truck was pulled up front and I took a test drive. There was a short negotiation and we settled as the internet price was a fair price. Finance guy was reasonable efficient and we wrapped up - start to finish in about 2 1/2 hours. Really pleased with Kenneth Deal and happy with the experience.
We have been in the market for a loooong time for a Lincoln Navigator and by chance stopped by to try an Aviator. Didnt like the Aviator as much for our purposes but happened to get Reggie Henderson and now he has completely opened my very particular husbands eyes up to new possibilities. Havent purchased anything yet but would recommend this dealership and Reggie to anyone.
We want to thank Riverside Ford for helping us out once again. I know I am not an easy customer and I tend to push the sale to the brink,but they were always great! Darrell started the process for us (we have bought from him in the past, and been completely happy). He was happy to help via phone before going in and called to check up on the process regularly. He referred us to Kent since he was out at the time we were looking and he definitely left us in good hands! David in Finance was a huge help in getting the deal where it needed to be and we are thankful for all three of them helping us get in a new car. Warranty Work is a problem here!!I called to schedule a two hour warranty job on my truck. I was told I would be called back when part comes in, lol, no. I called back a month later and I was told part was not ordered, we will call you back within a week, lol, no. I called back left messages with no call back. This went on for two months for a two hour job, I spent more time calling and leaving messages than the job would take to complete.I made one phone call to another dealership and job was scheduled and completed.
I am a repeat customer. The purchase experience is always great. No Mickey Mouse back and forth. Pick out what you want, request a reasonable price and they will treat you with respect and show great integrity. The service department is dependable and customer oriented, definitely well above industry average. Recommend to anyone looking for a truck and car dealer that appreciates there customers.

They worked with me and gave me a great deal on a new 2020 Ford Ranger! John Assongba was my sales professional and he is the best.
I recently bought an Explorer at Riverside. It was a very pleasant experience from beginning to driving away in my new SUV. Steve is an awesome salesman! He provided excellent assistance and was very knowledgeable about the product. He was helpful and never pushy. Once the deal was made, the financial part was quick and painless. I will definitely give them my business again and it was a 2 hour drive for me!
Riverside Ford has always been my favorite car dealer, since my first visit there in 1977. My family has bought dozens of vehicles from them over the decades. At 5k miles, I brought my small 21 foot Ford E350 RV there to get its first service. I asked the very friendly service manager in the Quick Lane if they could do it, and was told yes, it would be no trouble, because they have a larger rack for the big F-Series diesel trucks and vehicles, which of course they also sell. So this morning I brought it up there for its 10k mile service. Well, this not-so-friendly service manager actually told me, Youd be better serviced somewhere else. She said they didnt have a rack large enough for it to fit. Extremely disappointed. Im rather glad my other vehicle is a Toyota, I do not plan to ever return to Riverside.
The process took 4 hours even after booking an appointment the day before. Sales were not overly busy at the time but we were never even offered water during our wait. The salesman failed to mention key features about the vehicle (possibly due to buying a used Toyota instead of Ford or Lincoln), briefly explained the Riverside Advantage and added it to the orginal quote without seeking agreement. Our salesman also became short and impatient during the negotiation process when I did not agree to the 1st estimated quote. The financial manager ended up being the most pleasant and helpful person we dealt with. In the end I was able to purchase the vehicle for a reasonable/affordable price but I do not feel we received the level of care or service that should be exemplified while making such a major purchase.
Buying was a fine experience. Their front desk service folks are great, but trying to call the general number or use the online chat is futile.Edit: Literally had another flat tire and my service experience was consistent even though I was being helped by someone completely different than the other 3 people who had helped me up until now. It was a different tire, thankfully, and they tried to do what they could to get me the full extent of my service package. Small complaint - they didnt put my spare tire back under the truck, which Im capable of, but seems itd certainly be part of the service. Also wasnt happy with the grease marks left on the driver door frame.
Darrell Howard is amazing. My Lincoln got a flat tire right outside Macon while traveling to Savannah with my family which included two kids. I found out that I never received a tire key from my Lincoln dealership north of Atlanta so no tire repair company could help me and no one offered to help figure it out. I called Ford-Lincoln of Macon and I spoke to Darrell. He dropped everything and let me know he was going to make sure he got it figured out for us. It was Saturday afternoon and most places were closed. Ford Lincoln service department was closed until Monday morning. He offered to drive to us and help us get around. He told us about a 24 hour tire repair that never came up on my internet search and offered to drive behind us just in case as I was able to get it to hold a little air. The 24 hour tire service company he set us up with figured it out. After hours and hours of being stuck and everyone except Darrell saying can’t help...we were able to get back on the road. Even then he said if we have any trouble down the road then call him. You don’t come across many people as thoughtful and helpful as Darrell.
Just wanted to expound upon the excellent sales experience at Riverside. I was just driving through Macon on my way back to Memphis and my son told me about a great deal on a 2018 GT Premium Mustang that was posted on a video by my salesman, Mr Colby McCommon. Since we had been looking for this specific model and my son had alerted me to Riverside in Macon, I made the drive to check it out. Colby met me out front and we took it for a test drive and worked out the terms quickly. The team of professionals at Riverside did an excellent job from finance to detailing it before I drove off. Overall best experience with a car dealership. Nathan Quinn was very help when coming to find the right car for myself. Darrell Camps was a very nice gentlemen when it came to explaining the details on the car I purchased. I would recommend Riverside Ford every time. All my future business will be there for sure.

Traded in my car for a new vehicle. After over a month, they have not handled cancellation of my car tag on my old vehicle and still have not sent over the paperwork for my new tag. I’ve received a letter from the tag office telling me I’m responsible for paying fines now. I have tried to call Riverside Ford several times, no one answers the phone or returns my messages. Please do yourself a favor and don’t buy a car here. They will not even carry out the basic responsibilities of a car dealer.
I brought my car into the dealership to have a 2 belts replaced and an idling issue looked at. My car was idling poorly and I wanted them to take a look at the issue. I also wanted to use the courtesy service to ride home from the dealership. I asked the service representative multiple times while waiting outside where the courtesy service was and when I could be taken home. She kept replying that it would be after 1 so I waited. When 1 pm came the representative told me I would not be able to get me a ride home. I had to Uber back to my house. At this point I had waited over 3 hours almost and they had just started working on my car. I am fine with the wait but once they called me to inform me that they had not looked at the idling issue that I had initially brought the car in for I felt I need to write this review. The representative claimed that I did not bring up the issue but why would I bring the car into the dealership to be charged a premium for a service any technician can do. Absolutely unacceptable.
I want to thank Darrell Howard for helping me get my Ford Pass back working again although I was not his customer he took the time out to help me. My salesman David Simmons recommended Darrell good man and customer service. He also showed me stuff I did know I had on Ford Pass.
Earl Byers at Riverside Ford... you ought to be salesman of the year!First off ... I’d almost rather walk the rest of my life than to ever go into a car dealership to buy a car!We live over an hour away from this dealership but the truck we wanted was at this location! Let me tell you... EARL BYERS...BEST CAR SALESMAN... EVER.... you my friend, restored my faith in car salesmen! They knew we had a short window of time to complete the transaction and they pulled it off! They were not only fair but made good on EVERY statement made to us! The value given for the trade in was very fair! The price of the new truck was very fair! The way Earl treated us was very fair! We were also assisted by Colby (“like the cheese” lol) who was the most polite young man! He and Earl even helped us transfer things from the old truck to the new one! I have to say we actually even had a good time with them!You COULD buy a car anywhere...BUT ....why would you...when you can go to Riverside Ford in Macon and ask for...EARL?!Thanks for the absolutely painless... dare I say... enjoyable experience!
Best prices at the time of purchase in the state, honest people, easy process, willing to go the extra mile for anyone. To be honest I showed up in a 500$ junk truck and they treated me and gave me the same respect as if I would have rolled up in a 100,000$ car. Cant thank everyone enough. If your looking for a truck Colby McCommon is the man you need to see.
Purchased a new vehicle and was not given a pre delivery inspection. Wheel weights were falling off the truck as soon as it arrived at home. A second set of keys was not initially provided and when the truck had went back to address these items I was told it would be detailed as it was not the night of the sale. I was also advised the window tint that was installed before my purchase would be repaired as it had been cut in a lazy attempt to move the window sticker. No suprise upon pickup not only had the truck not been detailed but the tint was still gouged out and had adhesive all over it still. Sales manager is condescending to customers touting his 17 years experience when discussing what seemed to be a mistake on the dealer end about option packages. Also was advised that they sell cars all the time without cleaning them. All that aside as a first time ford owner i am very impressed with the truck so far i just wish i had gone elsewhere to find it.

My sun roof on my F-150 broke again for the 4th time in the last 3 years. I took in in to get fixed they informed me that it was not under warranty but would call Ford to see what they would do. This was in the first week of September 2020. After not hearing from them for about 6 weeks I tried to call, left messages but nobody would return my calls. I finally talked to service mgr 2 weeks later and she informed me that they have not herd anything and would put in another request. It is now 1 month later and have not herd from anyone, have tried to call several times and again no one will return my calls. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place and would think I would get better treatment. They do not care about their customers!!!

I haven’t had my car a whole year & been having so many issues. I knew something wasn’t right from the start when the sales person was rushing through the sales process. A day later my transmission started stalling but when I brought it in for them to take a look at it they tell me it’s fine that the battery cable was loose causing the car not to have voltage which was a lie I get back almost home had the same issue. Took it back they tell me after hooking it up to the computer everything was working fine & someone was gone ride with me to point out what it was doing. Okay after pointing the issue out he said it’s just the computer smh & now I’m dealing with a trunk full of water with mold & mildew to go along with the transmission bs. Everyone look farther!

April 22nd we began working with Riverside Ford on the purchase of 2 new vehicles. After a few bad experiences with other local dealerships we were beyond impressed by the service we received here. I received a phone call from Darrell Howard at 9 pm after being referred to him by a friend. Darrell pointed us in the direction of his associate Kent Smith as he was off during the quarantine. During the entire buying experience and even afterward Darrell communicated with us throughout the process to see how things were going and if our expectations were met. His partner that he referred us to Kent Smith was great as well. Kent took the time to make a number of phone calls to us over the buying experience in which we finalized purchase price and trade values and made of very fast and easy for us once we actually stepped foot in the dealership. I picked my truck up Thursday night and spent less than a hour signing paperwork and submitting the final information for my wifes explorer. Friday my wife went and walked in and out in under 20 minutes to sign and pick up her Explorer. The entire process was one of the easiest and most enjoyable car buying experiences weve ever had and the team at Riverside Ford Kent, Darrell, Kevin Franci the general sales manager who took a few extra minutes outta his day to make my kids feel welcome as we waited, and the finance manager David Hart have definitely earned repeat customers and our recommendations going forward. On Thursday, September 17, 2020, I took my 2015 Lincoln MKC in for an oil change at Riverside Ford Lincoln. The same friendly and courteous gentleman assisted me with my service call as he has on many occasions. Because of his amazingly kind and cosiderate personality, I feel very confident in his knowledge and recommendations for the service of my Lincoln. I am always pleased with the service and the complimentary car wash. He works the waiting area with humor and respect and gives everyone his undivided attention. On my recent visit I notice the fall decorations and complimented what a welcoming difference it made. He was very proud that I notice and vowed to maintain this added gesture. Went to Riverside Ford to see a pre-owned 2018 GMC Acadia that had been on the lot for nearly a year. Was disappointed to find the vehicle in a less than clean condition when we arrived. Dealer knew we were coming and there was ample time to have this SUV washed for a better presentation. Had to return to the dealership (almost 70 mile drive) to get two items that was supposed to be in the vehicle when we purchased it - a floor mat and a security screen for the rear. People were pleasant, but overall the dealership did not strike me as a top tier professional organization.

These people were amazing in convincing me to buy a new car the day that I went to the dealership just to see my options. Both the seller and manager worked with me to negotiate the best deal, which took a couple of hours but finally I got what I wanted. I traded in my car for the money I wanted and the deal was excellent.The only downside to the experience was the waiting time.
Let just say..I am Flabbergasted at the actions that were displayed at Riverside Ford. The sales man was extremly rude. Not to mention.... he threw my documents at me after he refused his services to me. My experience was great! My salesperson John was very patient and very helpful. I bought a used car and a little after I had bought it I had a few issues where the check engine light came on, I went back to the dealership and talked to Kevin, and he was very nice about it and he made sure everything was fixed ASAP and did $1400 worth of work free of charge. I highly recommend this place, this is a legit dealership that wont screw you over.
Horrible salesman. Didnt understand anything about the vehicles that he was selling. Couldnt answer very many questions. Seemed to want to rush me out of there without a negotiation. I saw the GM there. He was nice and even played with my kids some. I almost talked to him and stayed. I was so disappointed in the salesperson though. I made a purchase from 5 star ford that day in Warner Robins for 70k. Make sure your sales representatives are representing your company good. Clean up the place. Desks are cluttered and outdated. Looks unprofessional in there.

Our sales experience with Danny was AMAZING. He’s a great salesman, and I appreciate him going above and beyond even after the sale. My experience with Tonya in the service department was less than desirable. She intended to make me feel like an idiot and refused to have a repairman inspect my liftgate on a brand new Expedition. She was the only person in that building that was rude and obnoxious; however, I will not return to this service department because I refuse to encounter her again.
I have been looking for a Ford F-150 for several months and had 5 to 6 dealerships assisting me in my search for the right fit. Upon arrival to purchase a car all the salesman are nice. There should really be a designated door greeter so that youre not standing awkwardly waiting. The process did not take long since I had financing already. A nice touch was the free car wash and detail before releasing the car. Though my car had a couple of problems Andy Mason was great in rectifying them. Thanks for the service , Ford Lincoln is blessed to have him!
Every one there is super helpful and polite! The reason Im not giving 5 stars was sticker was marked $19,000 online and in person was 24,500. We were able to work a deal great and Andy was super helpful and accomodating. Also ask for Mr. Howard humble dude. I went in for the first oil change for my Ford transit connect ( bought it in February). I was greeted immediately by a very polite and professional young man ( theyre all young to me). When my car was ready he explained the bill in detail and went over the services provided.He also took care of the Syncing of my new phone. This is my first Ford and I love it. From the salesman to the service dept I was treated respectfully.
From buying the vehicle to every single service has been amazing! Purchasing vehicles has never been my favorite thing to do and though I am obsessive about the maintenance on my vehicles, I also want it to be as easy as possible. I had been taking my vehicles to 5 Star Ford but after they refused todo a recall I started bringing my vehicles to Riverside. I recently came to Riverside for an alignment after a pretty scary ride and discovered he my rear links (previous recall done by 5 Star) were not torqued down and had ruined my rear tires. The mechanic showed me first hand what was wrong and fixed it without question. They’ve earned my trust for a lifetime!!!
I purchased a 2017 F 150 and I love it. John A was my salesman. He was great to work with. Andy the sales manager was also great. They went above and beyond to get me what i wanted. They stayed late after closing to finish the deal. Also, the young lady in finance stayed and did a great job. She got me financed at a great rate. I traded a 2016 Silverado and left with lower payments. I give these folks 5 stars!!

I’ve been a customer of Riverside Ford for MANY years and have always been happy with their service, from the sales department to the service department I truly appreciated my last visit a little more though. I was greeted by Devin, who took care of my service needs even though they were very busy and I arrived late in the afternoon. He had no problem with accepting and making sure my coupon was credited to my final bill and gave me a rain check for the car wash. ( I had groceries to pick up ). Very polite, not pushy but yet took the time to ask if I was interested in certain products / services. This is what I like - not pushy !While in the comfy waiting area, I met Dylan, who was extremely polite and made sure not only myself but others in the room were comfortable and taken care of as well. We all laughed and talked which made the time pass by faster. These two young men are definitely assets to Riverside Ford because of their respect for the customers as well as their concern with solving all issues in one service visit.
Service TOP notch. Be very careful of sales. My mother tried to buy a vehicle cash . Vehicle was one price on line. Then lowered it by over a thousand a week later online. Two days later they raised it $2k online which was #1k more than she test drove it and made an offer. A little to shady for my taste.

Very smooth buying experience at Riverside Ford. Rodney Tolbert helped me narrow down my choices of an Expedition, which was not easy considering that I needed a very specific package for hauling a horse trailer. Rodney was kind and laid back, not pushy at all. He was out of town the following week, so the sales manager I had met previously, Andy Mason, helped me with finalizing a deal. I spent minimal time waiting around for paperwork to be completed, even had to leave in the middle of it to get a sick kid from school. Darrell in the finance department, as well as Andy, did a great job outlining all of my options for financing and helped us narrow down the best choice for our family’s needs.
Online prices are little misleading, but the sales personal are great. Overall experience was good but not great. Took longer than I expected. Brought my vehicle in for warranty repair. The service tech started complaining about blue tape in the engine compartment. Said that ford dont use blue tape in engine compartment. Every ford 2.7L turbo boost that I checked on the internet had blue tape in the engine compartment. Tech made excuses but did not fix the problem. Will be going elsewhere for warranty service.
We were on our first day of vacation traveling from St Petersburg, FL to north Georgia and our Ford Edge was having battery problems. I originally came in to look at and purchase a 2020 Lincoln Aviator but after careful consideration and great mentorship from Darrell Howard I came across the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus. Darrell has been knowing me since I was a kid and he has been friends with my father since they were kids. Darrell was on furlough so he introduced me to Kent Smith. Kent was a great salesman and he helped with the price and every little detail I needed helped with. Darrell Howard and Kent Smith both are extremely great workers and if anybody needs help I definitely recommend the two of them.

Last year my experience it was ok even though it took long for recall repair do to ordering parts. Now its disappointing bring the vehicle for emergency help or trade in. Get turned down for any type of assistance. Plus to much greed in the process to fill there pockets and not for the customers want and need to benefit them.

Ron worked hard to get me in for a set of new tires on my F-450, which I use daily in my hauling business. I had an issue where the spare tire came loose, but Ron worked to resolve and replace this tire in a very timely fasion, and without any hassle. I also used them for routine maintenance. I travel all over the USA and I appreciate when a Ford Service department is good to its customers. Ford service departments are not all the same, Riverside Ford in Macon GA, and Ron have made me a satisfied customer and I would recommend them.
TLDR: Very unprofessional and rude. Do not buy from here, definitely worth the journey to go to Atlanta for a better experience.Completely unimpressed with my experience at this dealership. Recently went to purchase a Lincoln Navigator. First, I arrived to find that the dealership had no parking available to its customers. Second, the salesman that approached me showed me a navigator outside and the paper on the side of car detailing features and the price. The paper was hard to see due to the rain so he just wiped off the area with the price and pointed to it to insinuate I probably didnt have the money. After showing me the price and me agreeing to the fact that it was within my budge he still proceeded to show me used cars despite the fact that I had stated I only wanted a new car.Next he took me inside after my insistence because I didnt want to stand in the rain. He didnt have a brochure so he printed one out so small I could barely read it. He began to price the car out for me, and try to come up with a payment plan but at this point I still hadnt even seen the car I was trying to buy. He couldnt tell me any information about the car and the versions of the navigator that were available. Next he continued to ask me about my credit and profession, not seeming to believe that I could afford this vehicle. Eventually I could see we werent getting anywhere and he was just pressuring me to make money moves that day without telling me any information about the car so I left, and I left him a list of questions I had for him to follow up with me in an email.I called him a few days later after not receiving an email and he had said that I should google the information. After that, I decided I would just take my business to Atlanta. Because how can a car salesman just be so completely clueless, unprofessional, and rude.
We purchased two brand new cars from them last year. The ordering of one car was all messed up with them telling us options had been ordered only to backtrack and say they were not even available. The vehicle took months to arrive which was expected but I received zero updates unless I called and spoke to a manager. With other brand new vehicles weve ordered the mileage has always been less than 20. This was different. They somehow managed to put 59 miles on our brand new vehicle before we ever saw it. I have a feeling they either allowed a bunch of salesmen to take it for a spin or were letting who knows who take test drives in it as it was a new model they has never had on their lot before. It also arrived without the CD player that was ordered and payed for. With both of these issues the salesman simply shrugged, no apology or compensation was offered. Our only option was to begin another multi month wait which was not a possibility as we needed the vehicle.I would like to add that its best to be careful when giving your email address to them. Since we bought our vehicles Ive been inundated with service reminders.
Before I went to Riverside Ford, I went to Ford Fitzgerald dealership in my town. Lets just say Riverside Ford went far and beyond my expectations. I wouldnt have needed to go to another dealership if they werent doing a good job. Hence the reason we went to Macon in search. Quick, easy, friendly, and extremely professional. Tony Deerman was our sales rep and he covered all bases for us, go us into a great deal. We came at 2 and left at 6!! So fast! We were able to trade our old vehicle in for a great deal without having to be upside down on our loan. Hands down the best experience Ive ever had purchasing a car. The salesman and manager worked with me to a buy a 2017 Toyota Hylander over the phone. I would give my salesman 4 to 5 stars. However, I had already given the dealership a deposit to hold he car and I came with my own financing. I offered to send documents before my visit. The process to sign for the car and drive off the lot took 3 hours. This was a little frustrating. The individual who processed the purchase was not ready. I got a great car at a great price and the salesmen was great but it seemed the process to get out of the door was terrible. And this was with me just putting cash down and brining my own financing.
I had an amazing experience. They didnt pressure me at all, just worked really hard to find exactly what I wanted in my budget! Its my second vehicle I have purchased from them and I love it! Id recommend Riverside Ford to anyone looking for a new car. Rodney Tolbert and Earl Byers are the salesmen that worked with me and they were amazing!
Ive done a lot of business with Riverside, bought a lot of vehicles, and kept them serviced here. Car buying is always a (emotional) joy, sales and service managers are always nice. BUT, service is seriously deficient. There is NOTHING quick about Quicklane. For the last 2 years, I have wasted hours waiting for a oil change...anything service related beyond that, have been asked to come back...many times. I have a lot of time and money vested here, but I have come to believe there is a serious flaw in the business model...specifically with service.
I was traveling from out of state and my debit/credit card slid under the console of my Ford F150. There was no way to retrieve it without removing the console. The service staff greeted me right away and took the truck back and within 20 minutes retrieved my card. No charge. Tremendously nice southern folks, with great customer service. If you are looking for a new car or service I highly recommend Riverside.
I was home for the holidays and found a car I was looking for at Riverside Ford. The entire process was smooth thanks to my salesman Richard Rappaport. He was able to track down the previous owner so I could have the owners manual and device to unlock the tires that was specific to the car. The former owner lived a good 30 minutes away and Richard took time to drive there and back so I would have those items before going back to NC the day after Christmas. He also made it possible for a scratch on my door to get fixed on Christmas Eve. I ended up with an almost brand new car and am happy with it!
Late yesterday evening I believe was the best experience Ive ever had in buying a car. Not only was my sales person knowledgeable but friendly and professional. Larry Dumas has been in the car business for some time now and my transaction was smooth and fast. Shout out to Service Advisor Debbie and an unknown mechanic for helping me move all my work junk from my old vehicle to another vehicle even though the service area was closed. I recommend any and all services from Riverside Ford! Thanks Guys!!!
I purchased a pre-owned automobile and Darrell Howard was an excellent sales person. He helped to make my experience less stressful, before and after the purchase. He made sure that he thoroughly explained the specifications of the car. If you go to Riverside Ford I highly recommend Darrell Howard.
My husband just bought a car from Riverside and here are his comments: Earl Byers was very helpful in finding the color that I wanted for my 2016 Mustang. He also worked hard to make sure I got what I wanted and at the price that was affordable. I will recommend Riverside Ford to all my friends and also will recommend Earl Byers for their Salesman. Also Tommy Alston was very helpful. Can not think of anything that could have been improved.
I drove from Atlanta to Riverside for a vehicle this morning, and I can say the trip was well worth it. I did have a small setback on the vehicle that I was planning to purchase, however, Kevin and the rest of the sales team worked diligently to make sure that I left completely satisfied. My wife and I had our three kids with us and the entire team took it upon themselves to play with and entertain our boys so that we could finalize our paperwork quickly. They even cleared the front lawn so the boys could run and play for a little while. The type of service and dedication to customers that I saw at Riverside today, is something I have not experienced in years. They took the time to make sure we understood and were comfortable with every step in the process and did not try to upsell me with features I did not need. This is one of the few companies around where a handshake and your word still means something. Thank you for going the extra mile!
I have gone to Riverside Ford for my last 4 vehicles, the fourth being last night on 12/3/18. Sales Manager Andy was great when he was at Youmans Chevrolet and is even better at Riverside Ford. Our Sales Professional Will L. was excellent through the process. Will put our carseat in the new vehicle and helped us collect our belongings from the old vehicle. They also discounted the vehicle to come to us with the best price possible. They have always done that for us. Great job Riverside!
Just got my F-150 here at Riverside Ford. They changed my whole car buying experience. I used to hate dealing with sales person from any other dealership. But from the first date I visited here at Riverside ford, I actually enjoyed and got lots of help from sales person.Trey Burton helped me to get this truck really nice and easy and I am really enjoying my new ride now.

I went to Riverside Ford on a recommendation from a friend and he recommended I ask for Tommy Martin. I drove a new Ford Fusion and was very happy with the performance of the car. Brought my car over and left it overnight so it would be there first thing in the morning for oil change, recall and detailing. They called at 4:30 the next afternoon to say car was ready. I asked if the detailing was finished and they assured me it was. Got there and it wasn’t detailed and they couldn’t explain why it wasn’t. It was on the ticket but it was never sent to the detail shop. We just moved here and this was my first experience with them. I wasn’t impressed.
Customer service and communication is pathetic.. for service called for appointment first thing in morning and represent told me to walk in.. and I asked should I make appointment later in day or should I just walk in... because I didnt want to wait for long time even I told him to put my name and he being denial and said come on in .. he said walk in... I got there in 20 min.. and they made me to wait for 3 hours... by saying sorry doesnt resolve the problem... highly recommend to get appointment with conformation

I originally brought my Escape to Butler Ford in Milledgeville and they turned me away stating they had a two week waiting list for oil changes! Riverside Ford got me in and out within an hour with a couple of cars infront of me. I will keep going back to Riverside Ford!!!

2022-07-20I had to leave for military training. The service guy said work was first come first serve so I dropped the truck off. They started working on it within 3 days of leaving (thumbs up). But then I heard nothing for a month until I came home. I called daily for check ups. It was super difficult to get someone on the phone to tell me anything. After being gone over a month then once back and calling everyday for a week they finally were able to tell me they might start working on another possible issue. No concrete answers for anything. Pretty much just charged me for a $500 oil change with no other valuable info. Super not cool.

2022-03-29I was traveling through Macon and my F-150s fuel pump failed. I had it towed in the middle of the night to Riverside Ford and they jumped on it promptly and in less than 24 hours I had my truck back and was able to drive home on schedule. Tonya provided excellent customer service!
