This place is amazing! I walk between 80-100 miles a month, so having the right shoes is so important. I used to think that any shoe would do, but that’s just not true, I’ve learned that the hard way. Now, I change my shoes every 300-500 miles. I came into Road Runner Sports store to get fitted for the right shoe. Service was fast and great. Not only was I fitted and given the shoes good for me to try, I learned a thing or two about what makes a perfect fit when you run or walk as much as I do. I got the personalized insole as well and the VIP membership. I also loved the fact that I didn’t need to try 20 different kinds of shoes to find the right one, they brought out 3 pair of the ones that would be best for me, based on my fitting and I chose one of them. I went with Brooks, they seem to be the ones I like most. I am very happy with my experience in this store and will definitely be coming back when I’m ready for my next shoes.
I went about 2 or 3 weeks ago and Ms. Lekeisas customer service was so on point, Im saying this as a customer service professional myself. She helped multiple customers and kept that store going like a well oiled machine. The shoes and inserts I got helped so much standing on concrete all day, she singlehandedly saved my feet and knees and I am so grateful, Ill be coming back there whenever I shop for shoes. Go to this store!
I have been a customer of Road Runner Sports for more than 30 years. I buy on online and was shocked to find out that my VIP discount that I pay over $50.00 per year for is far from honest. Any rewards cash earned is applied to my purchase before the 10% VIP discount is applied. This means my rewards cash is only worth 90 cents on the dollar. That is unethical and is not the way to treat a VIP customer. I will be shopping elsewhere for my fitness gear.

This is the best running store I’ve been to by far. They measured my feet and observed my gait and determined what shoe I needed. I’ve been to two other stores and one gave me the right shoe and wrong size. The other store gave me the wrong shoe and size and I’ve suffered from injury’s. Thank God I found this place cause I’m good to go! I appreciate you guys so much and I’ll be back for some sunglasses soon.

Great customer service! I’m not a runner and never shop at these kinds of stores. I am an avid walker andhave been experiencing some pain recently so decided to get some expert advice. Mark, at the Chastain store, was very thorough and professional. I apologized for trying on many, many shoes! I’m not a runner and while I wanted a functional sneaker I also wanted something esthetically pleasing. He was patient and personable. Great job Mark!

So the only reason I gave this store one star is because there was not an option for zero stars. Two of my friends and I walked into this store about 30 minutes ago. The only greeting we received was “please put a mask on,” which I promptly did. My other friends had their masks on already. We then proceeded to look at the shoes and each picked some we were interested in trying on. Out of the 3 store representatives who were there, none of them attempted to help us and the girl at the register who asked me to put my mask on seemed to purposely be avoiding making eye contact with us. The other representative was standing close by helping another customer and the 3rd representative disappeared. We finally asked for help and did have one pair of shoes brought out for us (begrudgingly) and left without trying any on simply because of the poor customer service we received. We will continue to shop at the big peach because we’ve never been so rudely treated in any of their stores before.
Susie assistant me with finding the right solution for my aching feet! I love the fact that I can return my purchase in 3 months if they do not feel right, only if buy the rewards package for $20, it last for one year. That is such a comfort!
No matter if youre a professional or u just jog thru your neighborhood, Road Runner Sports is your place! The staff there is knowledgeable and gives great recommendations. Be sure to get a gate analysis and really learn about your feet. I took my 13y/o track star today... well definitely be back
Had the best experience here! Was looking to buy some comfortable everyday shoes because I work in a hospital all day. Mark, one of the consultants, went above and beyond helping me find shoes best fit for me! Lots of variety for all kinds of colors/styles for each brand shoe. Even got custom fit inserts for my Hokas. Really cool technology they’ve got in there!!
I visited the store for a fitting/assessment on what type of running shoe to get for my shin and foot pain issues. The experience was helpful and pretty quick considering the evaluation process. The sales person spent a decent amount of time with me, but I didn’t feel pressure to buy. I left with a pair of comfy shoes and some socks and am excited to see how they work out.
A really great store with a very convenient location. Whether youre an experienced runner who knows exactly what they want or if youre just getting started an need some assistance choosing the right shoes, the staff has the knowledge and equipment to get you in the right pair. Only knock against them is they are a bit pushy with the accessories and VIP membership, though even then the staff was extremely courteous and professional.

The team at road runners Sports was fantastic. Helped me pick out the perfect pair of shoes, out of about 7 or so pairs, to run the NYC marathon. From the min I walked in the door I felt like a priority. 2 hours later i walked out with the shoe that took me 26.2 miles. THANK YOU so much for being the best runners shoe store in Atlanta.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The salesmen and women are trained and experts in their field. They ask the right questions followed by a quick run on the thread mill and a 3D video of your feet. Then they gather all the information to offer you the best shoe possible. Highly recommend this place.

After searching far and wide, I found Road Runners and am absolutely impressed by the level of customer service and attentiveness. Chaz and I believe it may have been his supervisor but I never caught her name were a dynamic duo for certain. They took great care of me. I was fitted for some running shoes. Shockingly, they were able to get me out of my new balance 880s and into a pair of Brooks that were much more light weight. They also had a deal which was half off for the VIP program. I also found some great gear as well. Super friendly and highly recommend!

Second time in RoadRunner Buckhead store, first time to buy. Xavier greeted me within 30 seconds of entering. He was pleasant, attentive, listened to my thoughts, and responded accordingly. Got fitted for insoles, found just the right shoe for my needs, and he very smoothly convinced me to buy a 3-pack of socks recommended from my evaluation. He was an excellent salesperson, and I will look for him again when the need for shoes arises.
Jared was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful without pushing anything too strong. First time getting custom insoles for support and learned a lot about what can help my foot/hip pain. If you are a runner, teacher, or anyone on their feet all day…highly recommend this place for investing in your overall foot health/comfort.
Mark was very helpful and everything was great until checkout. He asked me if I wanted to be a part of the rewards program and I originally said no and he explained all the benefits and I was like is it a credit card he said no. Its my first time ever stepping foot into this store so I didnt know it was going to cost me money and automatically renew. He highlighted a number on my receipt and told me I can cancel I was like ugh just a total inconvenience. The customer service for their rewards program IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Just rude, inconsiderate and very condescending couldnt cancel the same day so just going to have to add to my to do list during the week.
Road Runner sports provides a fabulous showroom, a variety of running shoes and a well educated and friendly staff to help choose your running needs. It’s my go-to store every time. Great service and deals with their loyalty program. They will spam you, however. Many emails every week! Shoes have been fantastic and the return guarantee is really good - 6 months at the time of writing.
Suzie greeted me the second I walked in. My experience was amazing…she measured my feet my arch support observed me walking on the treadmill. My oldest son recommended Road Runner because I started Orange Theory 9 weeks ago and my knees were beginning to hurt. He has done 100 mile runs, Ironman Challenges and told me they would know exactly what shoes I need for support. The shoes she recommended are perfect! I did Orange Theory this morning and what an incredible difference the shoes made when I ran on the treadmill my knees didn’t hurt at all! I recommended Road Runner to another member and told my coach how incredibly amazing Suzie has made my workouts!
This was my first time going to Road Runner, and definitely not my last. Anytime I hear that someone needs new running shoes, I know where to send them! The customer service was top notch. The second I walked in, Drew came over to see how she could help me. After a gate analysis, and some other quick tests, as well as getting custom orthotics, she had me trying on a few different pairs of shoes. Within 15 minutes of being in the store I had brand new running shoes that I felt comfortable in, and I know they give me the support I need. Drew was very knowledgable, and answered all the questions I had. They also have an amazing return policy, so I know that if anything doesnt feel right when I start using the shoes I can bring them back in. I had a great experience, and if you are looking for some awesome running shoes, this is the place to go!

Had my Mom in town visiting & brought her into your Buckhead location. DJ was extremely patient with us as she tried a few different brands/models on for size. He was able to explain the advantages & disadvantages of each & never once seemed annoyed at our questions or requests. You have a good one in DJ so hang on to him!!!
I only make a couple of purchases a year from here but I always have a great experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you are looking to go in for a full consultation they will give you their full attention. Because of this, you may have to be patient if they are working with other customers. Its definitely worth it. I purchased the VIP membership which gives you amazing benefits and keeps me coming back.

Huge shout out to Gerrod and Johnathan at Atlanta road runner sport Atlanta for the best customer service! They both were the most kindest and attentive and knowledgeable fit experts ever! They recommend me to do the fit process and molded up customized insoles which have helped with my arch and heel pain! I work at a clinic 10 hours a day and the shoes (new balance 1080) they put me in have helped tremendously! They both need a raise! Seriously! I joined the rewards plus program which gives me so many benefits and it’s definitely worth it to join their program! Overall thank you for the one of kind experiences!
In January I brought my daughter (who lives in Atlanta) here to purchase running shoes and we were helped by Jarrod who provided excellent service. She has been very happy with her shoes. I just moved to Atlanta from Austin and have been needing new walking/running shoes, so one of the first trips I made was to Road Runner Sports. I was very blessed to see Jarrod again and knew right away I would be well taken care of. After evaluating my gate and explaining the details, he narrowed the choices to 3 likely candidates. The 1st pair I tried on hit the mark. The Ghost 13 by Brooks. They are simply amazing! I just finished a nice long walk and couldn’t be happier with them! Jarrod took all of the hassle out of the show buying process. He’s truly excellent at his profession!

This is the best experience I have had at a shoe store ever. Learned way more then I ever wanted to learn about my own feet but after the scanning and analysis, wow I felt like I stepped into a cloud! The custom insoles aren’t cheap but to have shoes that perfectly fit your feet, it’s awesome. Drew was amazingly helpful and overall the staff was very welcoming. It made paying so much for the insoles worth it. Highly recommend!!!

Hands down, best running shoe store in Atlanta. Every time I go in, the customer service is remarkable. Each encounter is so personalized and the fit method from the 3D scan to the custom insoles are amazing. Who can argue with a 90day trial period? I will continue to support this location. Go and check them out, you won’t be disappointed.
I came in pretty late on a week night and asked to try on a few pairs of running shoes. Unfortunately, they didnt have the discounted ones I found online in that particular store, but the associate was still very helpful, assisted me with trying on several pairs of shoes, and I ended up going home and ordering the pair I wanted online. I will probably go back when I need new shoes. The prices are pretty standard for nice running shoes, and the employees were helpful.
The shoes I wanted weren’t available in the store; therefore, the cashier ordered a pair online to be shipped to me. I was informed the tracking number would be emailed by the following day. I contacted the store four days later after not receiving a tracking number and was told they couldn’t tell me if my order had been shipped. I was told on two occasions I would receive a follow up call to no avail. It’s two days later and no return phone call. The employees treat customers well until there is an issue. I will never shop at Road Runner Sports again. I now have to request a refund and hope they comply as they only give store credits. Too bad as I was considering ordering two more pairs of sneakers. Customer no service should be their motto.Update: My shoes arrived today (7/3). The box was tattered but the shoes appear fine.
Very knowledgeable staff. The $20 vip was absolutely worth it. It almost paid for itself with 10% off and then I was able to exchange my shoes even after wearing them. Had I listened to the knowledgeable staff in the first place, that wouldn’t have been necessary! Lol. Great experience

I had a pretty bad experience back in 2016 or so. Someone from corporate personally came to the store to make sure I was taken care of and everything was reversed. The person who I had the bad experience with didn’t work there much longer. I have nothing but praises ever since then. Suzie, Tyler, and Gerrod all amazing. Shoes, socks, insoles, shorts, tops, nutrition, hydration, lights, vests - they have it all.

I came to Road Runner Sports today to get some training shoes for the summer. I was instantly greeted by three rep at once as though they knew I was coming. Very Very friendly. They had an AWESOME tent event and very nice selection of new and pre-owned (gently tested as they said :) ). I only came to get a pair of shoes but left with two bundles of socks, nice shorts two pair of shoes. and a bra for my wife. The best thing was the great advice from Roberto and the super nice manager Suzie. I will be back for sure. Best running store in Atlanta...way better than the one down the street than no one spoke to me for 10 min while i waited to be helped. Keep us the good work.

Last year I could not run a mile. My non-athletic self walked into Road Runner Sports, since it was time for running shoes. All the employees I interacted with were patient and informative, especially one I think named Christa. I got individualized, perfect fit, running shoes for my feet. Now I can run a 5K!

After having problems with my ankle, my physical therapist recommended I get tested and go to Roadrunner to see which shoes would fit the shape of my feet and the way I walk/run.I had the pleasure of meeting Jarrod H at Roadrunner after work, and he took me through my first real foot test including filming me running and testing all dimensions of my feet. After patiently going through and explaining all the results, he recommended that I should look at custom insoles before I invest in totally new shoes!He was absolutely right, the insoles themselves were so supportive and took all ankle pains away when I walk/run. However, Jarrod also ran through 8 different brands of shoes that were most supportive for my feet and waking/running type. I ended up with new workout shoes (Nike Merlin), running shoes (HOKAS), and Roadrunner insoles that have CHANGED MY LIFE forever. All my ankle problems are gone, I no longer have sharp pains occur when I workout/walk/run, and my health and attitude are at an all time high.Invest in your feet because your life can change with the perfect shoe/insole for your body type. I’m blown away and so appreciative, and I am now an official Roadrunner member because of this experience.Thank you Jarrod H for your patient, polite, and light-hearted dedication (of an hour of your time) to run me through all these tests, pairs of shoes, insoles that have truly changed my life for the better. Reading the rest of these reviews kind of bums me out as I didn’t have the best or most helpful experience in this location. It was my first time visiting a road runner store, I went in about 45 minutes before they closed and I felt like the associate there didn’t want to spend that much time with me and was kind of standoffish. They didn’t have what I was looking for which is totally fine. I asked for an alternative style in my size and the associate returned to tell me they were also out of that style. Wasn’t very engaged with me, and didn’t make any other suggestions at all nor offer to check another store’s inventory. I will try another location for my next visit.
They should say they close at 6:30 and not 7:00. I walked in at 6:15 and the sales person told me they were closing soon and it wasn’t enough time to get fitted. It was pretty clear his attention was more focused on closing the store.He was clearly in a rush to get out, which is a shame because I was going to buy probably 2 pairs of shoes.
Do not agree to their membership. They auto charge you and will not allow you to cancel. They won’t help you at the store with it, they won’t cancel over email, and I have spent hours waiting on their -800 number and nobody will pick up. Awful.-update: despite what they wrote below, which took a huge amount of complaining to actually get as a response, they STILL charged my account without approval. Never dealt with this kind of BS before.
I visited the store a number of months ago and had an employee be very short, as well as rude, with me. I came and tried using the store again because I love the Tempe, AZ location so much. Roberto was phenomenal, icredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I will absolutely visit again and buy more shoes.The VIP benefits are pretty killer as well.

They test your walk and map your feet to recommend the shoes that will best fit your needs. I bought special insoles that were custom molded to my feet and they have made a tremendous difference! I came in not knowing anything about what my feet needed as a runner, and they totally help you out and show you what works for you. Roberto specifically was THE BEST!!! He was super enthusiastic and really cared and listened. He explained everything every step of the way.Better yet, he was super conscious about what would save you money. He also told us to be sure to come back if things didn’t work (like the inserts and if socks got holes in them) and we could return/exchange/get refunded. Highly recommend this place, and get Roberto to help you!!! (and no discounts given for this review, I truly just had an amazing experience)
Very uncomfortable sales staff. The lady who helped me was downright condescending. Ive been running for over 15 years and know very well what works for me, yet she seemed to think I was doing it all wrong, which included needing to wear more expensive socks.The only reason I went here was because I called ahead to check the price of a shoe I already knew I wanted. It turned out the price they gave me was only for members of a fee-based membership club they push on you very heavily. I ended up leaving the shoes on the counter and walking out after the cashier basically said, oh well, that was the wrong price you were told.I guess they are commission-based, which made for a very uncomfortable experience.
I purchased a $175 pair of asics running shoes here in January 2017. I went into the store in January and had my size and width measured with their computer program and the staff recommended these shoes and size. I didnt use them very much, mainly indoors. Theyve started tearing on the lateral inseams on both shoes. Ive never had a pair of running shoes break down like this. I brought the shoes in today to try to exchange them because theyre obviously defective. The staff told me that I had the wrong size for my foot even though they had measured it. They said my foot was too wide for the shoe. And then went on to say that asics is now making a more narrow shoe and sometimes they see this tearing on the lateral seems. They also said that since its outside of the 90 day window they cant exchange them out. They did not try to offer me any type of compensation or exchange. They basically said tough luck. Very poor customer service. Im sure if I wouldve gone to Dicks Sporting Goods or another larger department store they would have quickly exchanged them out. I know that shoe manufacturers will exchange defective shoes if they have greater than 50% tread remaining and these clearly do. I would not recommend this business for your sporting goods needs.
Awesome! Kelsee (sorry if Im getting her name wrong Im horrible with names!) did an awesome job picking out shoes for me that are a good size and fit all the criteria. I told her shoes had to be black or dark only as an afterought after she picked some out for me and she quickly helped me find a pair that works! After trying on a few shoes I truly feel the shoes I got are great fit. She explained everything well and told me about the VIP program which I didnt really need cause I wasnt planning to be back in a while. Likely to come back when I do need shoes again
This place is the best!!! They seriously go all out to make sure you’re getting the right shoe to fit your foot perfectly! This is my new running-place, came in with an ankle that needed extra support and they helped me perfectly.
We have been here twice, and they staff have always been helpful. The only reason they dont exactly get 5 stars is they do try to sell very hard, I get that, its premium gear and they get sales bonus goals....but they dont exactly tell you the prices upfront. I know this is in a higher class area of town, but do tell your patrons the prices before basically providing the service (custom molded insoles).

Stopped in to try on some shoes for arch support. One of the staff members was extremely rude and condescending. I genuinely needed some advice for what type of shoe I should purchase and was overwhelmed with him suggesting an insert (which I did not want) and continued to ramble on about how their company was a private running company and getting a membership would be best. In addition, after telling him I was looking for both running and cross training shoes combined, he kept insisting that I only needed cross training shoes. On top of it all the attitude and tone of the conversation was enough to make me immediately leave the store. Will not be returning and will warn anyone who does. If you like bougie running stores with uppety staff, this is your spot.

I didnt feel pressured into buying anything. Their attitude was to show me, and to give me all of the information that I needed. They were extremely polite, extremely friendly. Yesterday I went jogging for the first time in months because my foot used to hurt so bad.

I Drove 30 mins to exchange an online purchase. The call center customer service rep said this was the easiest way to do it because I had a physical store near me. Upon entering, I was told that I had to leave unless I was wearing a mask. The call center rep did not say that it was mandatory to wear a mask at their physical location, its also not posted on the main website or on the Buckhead google page. I Asked the sales staff how was I supposed to prepare if its not posted on their website? They told me that the sign was posted on the front door. They said that I should assume that a mask is mandatory for their safety. They also said that I should have checked Instagram. I asked if they had a mask I could wear and they said no. They told me that I could wrap a t-shirt around my face if I had one in the car. So I wrapped my daughters blanket around my face to process the exchange. As the blanket started to fall from my face, I was told that my face had to be covered to be in the store. Disappointing corporate roll out of new policies and disappointing customer service.

Avoid like the plague.At one time this was a solid store. Alas those days are gone. Sales staff are not knowledgeable. Lack of stock. Why wait a week to get shoes by ordering here. You can’t make a single purchase without the sales staff pushing their extras program. No thanks.
I would not waste my time with this store. Low inventory and lack of knowledge of the product. Big Peach or West Stride have more qualified sales associates.

So stressful - music blasting (it was a special day) and they make you do this super excessive Shoe Dog thing, that at the end theyre like and thats 70 extra. No. Employees seem super pressured to be bubbly and they ring a bell and everyone *woops* every single time someone joins VIP. Made it a horrible buying experience. Kendra was nice though.

2022-02-26This is the only place I go for athletic shoes. Having completely worn out my most recent pair, I needed something stable that would also accommodate my high arches. I went straight for the latest Brooks Ghost, my go-to running shoe for the chick who doesnt run but walks a whole lot. Jarrod saw me looking, and talked with me about my daily fitness regimen and noted my high arches. He recommended a different shoe I would not normally have considered, and when I tried them on, my feet felt like theyd been wrapped in a warm embrace. I appreciated the time Jarrod took to really listen, and he didnt once judge me for shopping in a running store even though Im not a runner.There are only a handful of things worth spending a lot of money on. My feet are at the top of that list. I buy a lot of things online, simply for the convenience, but I encourage you to visit this store in person and let them help you help your feet.(Also, I felt safe here--there is a mask policy and I saw different staff members courteously enforce it)

2022-02-26I had a great experience buying running shoes. I would even say the best experience I have ever had buying shoes, and more importantly, the shoes that I received help picking out have the best feel out of all my running shoes. Xavier helped me and he did a outstanding job. I tried on and tested 7 pairs to find the shoes that worked best for me. Xavier suggested the custom fit insoles and he cut them to fit perfectly. The insoles are totally worth it and I will definitely be buying my running shoes and gear from Road Runner from now on. No other shop has a good selection of 14 wide to try on. Usually they have none and I have to order online and hope they work out. Thank you Xavier for your help and great service!!

2022-04-27I had a really wonderful experience at Road Runner Sports! I’ve had reoccurring feet problems from running and their team worked with me to find the right fit and created a custom insole for my shoes. As well as ordering a shoe I love. My first run on my insoles was life changing! Highly recommend!

2022-03-13Loved my experience! I needed a new pair of running shoes and they took me through a process where they did a 3D scan of my foot and analyzed my gate on a treadmill. It made me feel super confident that I was getting the best pair for me (vs blindly ordering online like I did in the past). Super friendly and answered all my million questions!!

2022-07-03I called to check if they had a shoe brand and style in stock and they also had my size. I requested them to set it aside and that I would come in to try them on and buy them the same day. I got in there and got out in less than 15 min. Great service. I wore my new HOKA Bondi 7s out of the store. They feel great. Just glad I found this store here as I moved from out of state. I only get shoes from Road Runner stores

2022-06-20I ordered shoes on JUNE 2ND 2022, Im writing this review on JUNE 20TH 2022. My shoes are still not here, nor do I have a tracking number or ANY type of confirmations....I have beenapologized to countless times but truly doesnt matter at this point…I just simply want my shoes. The only thing that has been done otherwise is that I will receive expedited shipping on mynext purchase LOL. What a joke. Please steer clear and do not waste your time. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone I know.
