First visit as I was given a gift certificate. I was sceptical going in but went through the full scan and fitting. I learned something new about my feet that probably explains some of the discomfort I have been experiencing. Camila was very patient and extremely helpful, I now have some new shoes I look forward to using and will return for more in the future. Give it a try!
My husband and I went to Road Runner this past weekend and were there for about two hours getting evaluated and fitted, we had been before but it had been a couple years and we were due for some new insoles and scans. We had an excellent experience and an amazing sales associate (sadly cannot remember his name) who listened to our concerns and gave us multiple options to chose from. We live about an hour away and pass another common running store to get there but, we find it to be worth it every time due to the technology and service we are given.
This was probably the best experience I have ever received at any store in my life !! Got my feet scanned and employee brought out multiple shoes and let me try on all of them . I really felt like they truly cared and wanted me to come out with the shoes I truly liked !! Will definitely be back .

My daughter and I visited Road Runner Sports on Johnson Ferry Road yesterday. I know the importance of a good fitting shoe for injury prevention, and I was hoping to find that here. An excellent experience was had. The technology they use to analyze your gate and individual feet characteristics was impressive. They also have a membership program for $20 that offers awesome benefits and a discount that more than paid for itself that day. I don’t often take the time to write reviews as I typically just feel too busy. While all the above is true to my experience, my main motivation in writing this is a shout to the employee who assisted us, Kate. She was extremely knowledgeable. She walked us through our results with a desire for us to understand our individual needs. Kate was very genuine, not pushy and made us both feel we could take the time we needed to make the right selection. I’m definitely going back with my other kids to prevent injuries while they pursue their physical endeavors. And I will definitely be calling ahead to be sure Kate is working when we return.
I visited the store this AM. I walked in and was greeted by Kaitlen who asked what was I looking for. I told her a healing shoe because I had plantar fasciitis and bone spurs on the top of my feet while explaining what kind of shoes the doctor recommended. I tried this shoe on with the clean socks that I purchased, also because they were so comfortable. Needless to say, I purchased 2 pairs and walked out the store wearing one pair. We love Road Runner Sports in East Cobb! We’ve been VIP members for about a year and it has been so helpful. Finding the right pair of running shoes is tough, so it’s awesome that you can try them for 90 days and exchange if need be. Like wow! No other store lets you actually try the shoes out & bring them back worn! Plus the staff is knowledgeable and super helpful. They really know their products! They even have treadmills in the store so you can try out the shoes. It’s really the best running store out there, we love RRS!!

I love that she took the initiative to bring out other shoes that met my specific criteria that I didn’t know about.I was leaving Brooks behind because my previous pair’s sole treads wore down so fast and the shoe structure broke down so fast it was ridiculous for a stability shoe. The Mizuno I went with had just been significantly upgraded and updated and when I checked the reviews online they were fantastic.Only bad thing is that Roadrunner decided not to carry all the colors in this shoe 2 of which might have been trendier options for anyone not over 65. 😜 I mean it is a running shoe. But her service was ⭐️ stellar ⭐️!Also I love Roadrunner but wish you guys carried more trail running shoes as I had to 💸take my dollars elsewhere💸 . The Greater ATL is a hotspot for trail running/walking.

Being in the service industry I was in desperate need of new, supportive shoes. Walked in and was greeted by a young gentleman with a big smile on his face. Even with him wearing a mask you could his smile. Marquis walked me through the entire process, explained everything to me and made my experience very enjoyable. I have been shopping with you guys for many years now for my running shoes and accessories. Ever time I come in I get greeted and good service and I was just in yesterday to replace my running shoes and the shoe I was looking to get you guys don’t carry in the store and the sales person help me get it ordered and I should have it by this coming week and my sales person said if it doesn’t work I have 90 days to return it and they will help me get into something else. I will definitely keep shopping with you guys and also my family members as well.
It was a quick walk in. I knew what I was wanting. I wanted a pair of shoes and out the door. The hassle for a membership is exhausting. I just want a pair of shoes, pay the price and out the door. Then when I say no to the membership the girl helping me immediately changed her tone with me and was rude until the exchange was complete. I won’t return. This is why so many people enjoy buying online much more than in store. People are so rude. It’s been a tough year for everyone. 3 star only because I really like the shoes- not the help I received with rudeness on top.
I went last weekend for the “outside sale”. I just felt that those shoes that store was selling some are really dirty for the price, while I understand that its a sale for returned used shoes, some of those shoes should not be for sale, how dirty it was and really looks like have been used so many times and for the price of $65.00 each I expect at least shoes that are clean not showing mud and looks real dirty and there should have been some clean socks or stockings for customer to try on shoes knowing that all those shoes on sale have been used. On positive side - staff are really great.

I only shop for my running gear at Road Runner Sports. They have a huge selection of running shoes and knowledgeable, expert employees who will guide you to your perfect fit. Their custom insoles changed my life and I will never have shoes without them again. I work on my feet ~40 hours/week and run ~25 miles with no aches or pains. Best of all is the VIP program which allows for instant discounts and rewards and if for some reason the shoes aren’t your perfect fit they will exchange them for you! Such a wonderful customer service/shopping experience all around.
The most comfortable walking shoes I’ve ever worn! And I would have never found them without the attentive staff at both the Atlanta and Merchants Walk stores!I’m in my 70’s and walk 4 to 5 miles every day rain or shine, so comfortable, supportive shoes are a must. I’m burning through my second pair.Get the molded insoles, let the staff help you pick the best shoe and let life be “a walk in the park”!

She did a great job of explaining what our results meant and took the time to find the shoes that were the ideal fit. Nia was very patient with us through the process as we tried on many different options. Perfect place to look for when you are trying to give more care for your foot by choosing right shoes. I have the VIP membership which I feel is worth having. You can give a try for custom insoles. Always I ended up visiting on the store closing time but the staffs were never hesistant and very courteous.

I came into road runner not knowing what kind of shoe was good for me to run in. I met Elora who was very knowledgeable and very helpful in helping me find this out. She was also attentive to any of my questions and made it fun along the way. I would recommend her to anyone that visits this particular store. Highly recommended! I dont run and I absolutely LOVE this store. Most importantly, the staff is extremely knowledgeable about their product. They have several different pieces of equipment that give a great assessment of your gate, pressure in your feet, form of your foot, etc., that help tremendously in picking the right shoe for what youre trying to do, EVEN IF that isnt intense running. There was a huge selection, and I never felt inferior for not being a super runner while there. There seemed to be a shoe there for every type of active individual. I was given the most personal assistance Ive ever experienced at a retail store and was made to feel very welcome. Everyone on staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and personally interested in why I was there. Big shout out to Lou, Jay and (I think) Allie, who were super, super helpful/nice/awesome/all the amazing adjectives! Thanks guys! Will definitely be back!
I was wowed. After having a head on collision years ago, I knew this experience was going to be daunting for me. Jamaal not only took his time and was more than understanding, he was knowledgeable. I never once felt rushed. He didnt oversell. He was patient and accommodating. I tried on several pairs of shoes. I even spent time with each pair to make sure I made the best decision for me and my issues. He was through the entire process. Its been a long time since I have experienced this level of customer service. Awesome job Jamaal. You made my day.
I came in to get a new pair of walking shoes since I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis. I worked with Kristen, and she took a lot of time assessing my gait and deciding which shoes would be best for my situation. She was so competent with shoe selection that I trusted her to recommend the proper inserts. I have followed her instructions on how to break in my shoes and inserts (break in slowly) and have been doing incline walking on a treadmill without any problem. I am happy to recommend my great experience at Road Runner and with Kristen!

This is the best RoadRunner location Ive found in Atlanta. As soon as I walked into the store, Mike assisted me. I had been having a lot of pain in my arches and heels so this was my last attempt at some relief. He measured my feet and explained why I was probably experiencing the pain. I ended up purchasing the custom insoles and recommended sneakers. I would say about 90% of my pain was gone after switching to these! It was worth every penny and the staff at this particular location were great to work with.

Scored some awesome custom inserts here that I use for running and in my indoor soccer shoes. I also got a great pair of running shoes. However, my fiancee went three separate times and could never find a shoe in stock that was for her. They did return two pairs that didnt work out for her though (great service).

Had a really good experience here getting some new running shoes. The 3dfit and running test were really nice to make sure I got the right shoes. The custom insoles were really cool. Went on a run today and it didnt tear up me feet.

Went in mostly knowing what I was looking for and at first had a nice girl helping me with my size, then she shifted me to another associate who also was nice, but when I was ready to check out, neither person was to be found. I stood waiting for about 10 min while 2 other people paid for their shoes, and when they left, so did the worker...to go assist another customer who was finishing up his choices. I was told twice just a moment and then nothing. I ended up leaving my purchase at the counter and walking out. Just not great customer service. I think more emphasis is placed on how much you are spending...also got tired of the kids who were throwing balls around the store. Im disappointed because I really wanted to get running shoes today, I should have just gone to Big Peach which was my first thought anyway.

I find the sales people to be hot or cold. If they think they can make a sale they are all over you, but if you decline their assistance they seem to disappear. This has also been my experience at the Avalon store. However, the sales staff is pleasant, the store is clean and easy to navigate. The clothing brands represented in the store is limited, but they have a good selection of shoe brands.
Awesome experience! The customer service was fantastic when coming in to buy a pair of Goodr sunglasses! They had a wide range to choose from and Kristen Gould was amazing and informative.
Pushy salespeople and high prices. They kept trying to stuff my foot into shoes that were 1.5 sizes too small because the computer told them that was my size. Haven’t even found shoes that fit and they’re already trying to up sell me on cheap socks. Limited selection of sizes for the shoes they recommended.
So I went into store 708 (merchants walk in Marietta) to get officially “fit” at the urging of my chiropractor. I have struggled for a year with treatment-resistant plantar fasciitis, heel spurs and knee pain and I have had to cut wayyyy back on running as a result. This has been difficult to say the least!! Anyway, I wanted to make sure my current shoes weren’t making my injuries worse. Mike basically figured out quickly that I was wearing good shoes, but I had been wearing the wrong size for six years! He pulled out a few different brands in the CORRECT size and fitted me with an orthotic... I literally heard angels sing when I put on the On Clouds and orthotic insert. Seriously.Mike was so knowledgeable, patient, and helped me have HOPE that I might run again. He deserves kudos for a job VERY well done!!
This is the best store ever! I have gone to the one in Buckhead with friends and thought the experience was fine, but then I decided to come to this one on my own and I am so glad I did!!! Blake assisted me - spent a good 45 minutes helping me find the right shoe - told me about the VIP program - showed me all around - signed me up for VIP - yahoo!The people that work here are what makes the shopping experience all the better. Good shoe selection when it comes to running, walking, trail running, and casual shoes. If they dont have it in the store, they can order it for you online. Custom insoles are priced fairly and way cheaper than going to a podiatrist.
I am not a person to be impressed easily by no means. I didn’t even expect to get a set of tires tonight. I called at 5:15pm, their shop closes at 6pm. Applied for 90 days same as cash was approved made it their 10 mins before they closed and these guys had exactly the tire I wanted and went to work! Stayed over without the slightest hesitation too! Not only was the Manager very personable and caring but gave me very competitive pricing! Third time visiting here...and unless you are looking for an expensive shoe, nobody really pays attention. When i was ready to purchase this time, I was waiting at the checkout for 10 minutes. Folks saw me, ignored me. Then I had to call a guy to just check me out.

2022-07-03Went in to find some new running shoes and was helped by Cami. She was knowledgeable, friendly and provided excellent customer service. She did the analysis and walked me through the best options for me. She also explained the VIP program, which honestly, who would not opt in? So worth it.Id like to mention not only did she provide me with excellent customer service but she was able to take care of some other customers that were in need too.The whole experience was wonderful and my new shoes and custom insoles felt amazing on my feet during my run.Theyve definitely earned a customer with this kind of service.

2022-06-30My first time shopping for high end running shoes. I had a few recommendations but Gretzky helped me out very nicely. Once wearing them they didnt seem to fit the same as in the store and when I went back, he helped me again. Great experience. Id definitely go back.

2022-07-04I was greeted as soon as I entered the store. I let them know what I was looking for, and they had the item in stock, brought it out right away, and let me try my Brooks on. The sales person came back to check on me, to see if I needed anything else. Once I was ready to purchase, the sales person took my items to the register, and the person who was checking me out was friendly, and completed my checkout quickly. Everyone was friendly, and helpful. It was a quick, and pleasant experience.

2022-05-12Excellent service from Gretzky. He was knowledgeable, very professional and helpful. He set us up with insoles, shoes and socks. Both my husband and I left feeling very good and hours later our feet are very happy, as is my chin. Good fitting insoles can make life so much better! We definitely will be back and hope to see Getzky again !

2022-02-25Jillian was amazing. Came in today with my boyfriend who has wide feet and severe heel pain from being in the service. This fab human doesnt even work on commission and spent 45 minutes of her time figuring out and explaining different shoes which resulted in not one but two options for him. We drove an hour to get here and I have no regrets. Ill be coming here later too to get some zero drops when I need them. 10/10 service and clean store
