I felt like I was being deceived to buy some insoles. I was fitted for them and the whole time I was never asked if I would like to purchase them.When I was being checked out I noticed the insole package and took a look at it $80!!!I immediately had to tell the woman I didnt want them and she kept pressuring me to buy them.Im still contemplating about taking my whole purchase back because I feel like I was being tricked
Went in ready to make a purchase, but the sales staff insisted on the analysis and all the other bells and whistles. Walked out with the shoes I went in for, an hour an a half later with a VIP membership that I clarified multiple times would not auto renew. Now we are a year later, and I cant get in contact with anyone because theyve auto renewed without my permission. I think these reviews are incentivized to be higher than they actually are. Save your time and go to Fleet Feet or Big Peach Running.
T’Keyah is the best!! My daughter has tiny feet and I’ve been all over trying to locate track and field shoes for her. I was at my wits ends. I found Roadrunner Sports in a Google search and I’m glad I did. The customer service was the best and she explained the VIP program to me and the benefits. If you’ve not checked this place out you need too! Ask for T’Keyah. I honestly thought she owned the store because that’s how much she cares.
Im not a runner but needed some good running shoes so I can prepare for a timed 1.5 mile run. Based on my previous measurements, my sales rep brought me two pairs of shoes to try on. I also tested on the treadmill. I really like the shoes I selected; they provide support and comfort. Ive taken my husband & son there to get them good running shoes too!
This has become my go-to store for running shoes and clothes. I have been in 4 times needing help with fitting and shoe options, and every time the staff has been very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend anyone needing running shoes go get professionally fitted at Road Runner - it made a world of difference for me!
Peachtree Corners Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Much thanks to Matias. Daughter new to HS Cross Country and we knew nothing of what she needed. We left with complete confidence that we got the best service and the perfect shoe for her. She says she could immediately feel the difference and improvement. Well worth the time, money, and effort.
Jamichael is fantastic. He is knowledgeable and created a wonderful shoe buying experience for me. I bought a running shoe 1/2 a size too big and went for a run. Luckily he advised me to sign up for the VIP membership. Im now eligible to exchange it. If I was at another shoe store I may have been out luck. Props to Jamichael for being transparent and aware. Road runner sports just earned a raving fan!
I had the best experience at the Peachtree Corners location. It was so good I hugged my salesman before I left the store! Jamichael went above and beyond to help me find the perfect shoe for my hard to fit feet. My kiddo’s got wide feet, making it tough to just “go buy a pair of shoes”. After a week of looking at nearby shoe stores and department stores, I’m so glad to have run across Road Runner Sports.The sales associate was charismatic, great with kids, and extremely effective at his job. I told him we need wide, and most stores have to order them. He said, “oh, we can work with that!” My son was excited about the “foot scan robot” that mapped his feet onto the screen. I was more excited that the first pair he brought was absolutely perfect! 🤩Highly recommend! Will definitely revisit.

Kristen made us feel at home on our first visit to the store. Loved having our feet measured electronically with so much data available to select just the right shoes. Had orthotics customized as we were being served and found a good knee support as well. Bought 3 pairs of shoes and were totally delighted with our experience at Road Runner Sports!

Great visit to RoadRunner yesterday. Purchase two new pairs of running shoes. Great service by Michael. He was knowledgeable, helpful and personable. New foot mapping and ability to test run on the treadmill very helpful. I love the custom inserts. It’s a great place to buy your inning shoes and the perks program is a great way to save.
Great experience today at RRS in Peachtree Corners! Needed a new pair of running shoes for an upcoming Ironman event and wanted to look at switching to a different Brooks shoe. Krista was extremely helpful in answering all my questions and there were no supply issues on size and color! In and out in probably 20 minutes, which was exactly what I needed!!
Four members of our family were guided through the process of foot and walking assessment. It was a 5 star experience! Each individuals needs were carefully reviewed and solutions were provided via custom insoles and shoes that were the correct size and width. Great experience!
We walked in and were helped within minutes of our arrival. The sales person was pleasant enough although a little short with us. She asked what we needed and supplied us with that, however offered no advice or suggestions when we had questions. I don’t have a road runner sports in Savannah but still travel to Atlanta to purchase my running shoes because of the selection.
I bought a pair of running shoes at this store and they were making my knees hurt when i run, just wasnt the right fit for me. I took them back and they allowed me to exchange after almost 3 months!! The attendant Mike was super sweet and helpful. I would recommend this store and location.
Great experience getting fitted for insoles! I’ve been doing Orangetheory for severalMonths and have developed pain in my feet and ankles because a) I’ve never been a runner and b) i didn’t have quality shoes.I went in for insoles and was very impressed by how educational the fitting was and ended up cancelling an order elsewhere for shoes and just purchasing from RoadRunner!

Do not sign up its VIP program. It is a scam!About 2 years ago, The salesman (a young boy) recommended me to join its VIP program. After I paid the VIP member fee, they gave me a discount and at that time, the total came out less. So I agreed. Recently my credit card expired and they sent me a letter to ask me to update my information and I was shocked to find out they have been secretly charging the $39.99 membership fees from me all the time. I havent shopped there for years! My husband kept paying the bills and he just assumed that I bought some shoes from there. By GA law, it is required to send written notice to customer within 30 days about renewing membership. But this store has never given me any notice and has kept charging me $39.99 per year. I searched the situation and found out tons of complains on line and a lot of victims there like me. So I want to warn you. It is unbelievable but it is real.
So helpful and knowledgeable! I came to return the shoes I got yesterday to the upgraded more expensive pair and there was nothing but gracious welcoming and help instead of making the return difficult. I even saved money signing up for thier VIP rewards after previously turning it down. Thanks for the help!

The whole experience was super legit, we took a good look at exactly what was needed to fit my feet perfectly and for the kind of running I was going to be doing. After narrowing down to a few pair of shoes, I finally found exactly what I was looking for and they fit well within my budget. Id give 10 stars of I could!

I went to Road Runner Sports in Peachtree Corners looking for some decent insoles for my shoes to support my arch and help relieve some of the pain in my calves when I run. I was welcomed by Chaz and I told him what I was looking for. Chaz really took his time to explain to me the type of insoles they have. He thoroughly walked me through steps on and showed me how my ankles supinate and how my arches of my feet are different.With all that being said I bought a pair of the max cushion insoles ( I believe that is the name) and when I tell you I love them....I LOVE them. I was able to run 5 miles with ease and able to relieve the tension and pain in my calves. I will be back to buy me a pair of shoes!!Thank you Chaz for your help. Your customer service and patience is amazing!!!
I made a purchase almost 6 months ago, and today this store specifically charged my card $60. I had to get my charge removed and a new card, but other reviews say the same thing. This store is stealing credit card info!!!!Update: i Called corporate and they said they removed my card from the account. However this morning i got another $60 charge. I am speaking to my attorney at this point because they are committing fraud. I have emAiled the manager listed in the reply and will be going in person.
My husband and I walked into this location so excited that we had one close to our home in Dunwoody. We were blown away by the service we received from Jackson. He immediately greeted us warmly and helped us find the perfect shoes for our strides. He brought out multiple options to choose from, and had great recommendations. We got a great deal with our VIP membership and love the products we got. Great location, great service from Jackson, and great products. Can’t beat it!

Brenda was great! I’m so glad we went here. We were very impressed with her product knowledge and how friendly she was. The various tests they do help you find the right shoe for you. It certainly lessens the sting of making big purchases because you know you’re getting what is best for you, plus they have a great return policy. I left so excited with what I got and so happy we had Brenda to assist us.
Ive been a member of RoadRunnerSports for 29 years and I recently found out they had retail stores and a store in my area. Normally, I use the catalogue or a competitor found in Suwannee, GA., close to my home. I can say that will no longer be the case. I arrived to the store after a 30 minute drive which proved to be well worth my time. Jackson, the associate, couldnt have been more helpful in properly fitting both me and my son with shoes and inserts. He was patient and encouraging and convinced us to do the diagnostic with the analyzer and the tread mill. Once he had the results he found shoes for both of us and we couldnt have been more pleased with his selections. Im not one to take one at their word and he patiently listened and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. The store had a great layout, and was very clean and all of its associates were professional and friendly. A terrific in store experience. Something that Ive come to expect from Road Runner Sports for a very long time.
I went in yesterday to purchase a knee sleeve for my right knee and Jackson took a look at my current ASICS and advised me it had low support hence the knee pain. He fitted me with Brooks and custom made my insoles . This morning I went for my 5 miler uphill on the road and gravel and I felt I was running on a cloud . I was wearing wrong shoes for last 12 years as a runner and I’m so appreciative of Jackson and his knowledge ! The best running store and service hands down!
Krista helped me with my shoes - tried about four pairs for 30 minutes. She found that the shoe had a website special, and she could not change the price on the store register. So she called the RR help desk - could not get this adjusted and recommended that we order from the web and even did that for us. We asked her if she would get the credit for the sale - and her response was I dont but dont worry about it.If that is not customer service, I dont know what is. Krista - thank you for putting the customer above everything else. And if your owner or manager is reading this, I hope they reward you in some way - as you made a customer for life for your employer and company.
I don’t run much but a trainer from Iron Tribe Fitness recommended Road Runner sports. I came in and Krista helped me find a new pair of shoes and some supports. I felt like I’ve known her for years. She was very friendly and not at all pushy for a sale. I would definitely recommend Road Runner sports!

Went in to get new shoes and was immediately greeted by Brenda. She analyzed my feet with their cool scanner, recorded my stride, and recommended my new favorite pair of running shoes and insoles. The staff was friendly, kind, and patient. Brenda was super helpful and I walked away completely satisfied.
Up-sell Up-sell Up-sell Up-sell...just ridiculous. I came in to buy two pair of shoes for high school track kids. Up-sell shoe fitting experience.Did not have a wide variety of spike track shoes. UP-sell VIP membership.Ended up just having to buy the shoes online while in the store with the help of an employee who took my CC# info. Up-sell 20 dollar pair of running socks.Later receiving an email that they are on back order. CANCELLED. Can you say thank good for credit card purchase and not paying cash. ..No need for me to receive a note from management to call and make things right. Your business model is awful. Your reviews reflected such.Fool me once ...shame on you. Fool me twice...well I wont be fooled again. First time I can agree with Bush43
The last three times i was in the store and walk away without any help. First time the sales person started to help me then in the middle of conversation, she walk off to help someone else. Ten minutes later I walked out of the store. Looks like my wait will be a while. Second time she was just sitting on her phone. Third time she told me they do not have the sneakers I wanted. I went home and ordered it which came from the same store. Very disappointing with the customer service at this store ;(
Shanae (not sure about that spelling) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful from the moment we walked in. She asked a lot of questions and made sure we were getting what we needed. I highly recommend Road Runner Sports. Especially if you are hard to fit or have trouble finding the right shoes.
After years of shopping at shoe depot, foot locker, etc, I finally found a place I can confidently shop for tennis shoes. They have several choices to choose from that the employees actually know information about. Bryan was the one that assisted me. He was helpful, understanding, attentive and extremely patient. He was profesional and helped guide me to the right shoes. He didn’t once make me feel rushed. If you go there, ask for Bryan.
I was a VIP member and loved their service when they used to have a great guy with a British accent that went above and beyond to help customers. But lately, their attitude and their customer service sucks. You will bring stuff up to pay to the counter and no one will be around to ring you up. I have purchased numerous shoes and accessories for myself and especially my son who races. We had an issue with an exchange and when we complained, the manager told us we can get a refund for our VIP membership if we are not happy, which we did. Honestly, this is not a way to run a business.
My husband and I visited the Norcross location.... Jackson was the best and most creative salesman . My husband is a below knee amputee so when we had to purchase the insole that are molded for the feet, because he stand a lot. We had only one problem he only has one FOOT (the left foot)...So Jackson decided to heat the extra mold for (right foot) and my husband stood on the mold ,which is the left foot and ..Low and behold!!!! we have two left feet molds.. That was exciting... He cut off the extra parts and it fit perfectly..We are so happy , we didnt want to waist the mold ...they are & $75 buck. I would recommend speaking with Jackson he is very knowledgeable as well. Thank you Jackson for all the you have done for my husband. I will come back to the Norcross store the customer service is outstanding!!!!!!
Jackson was able to use his knowledge and expertise to get me back out running again with confidence! Training for a race, I started feeling alignment issues with my right foot and knee. Jackson quickly determined I was in the wrong type of shoe and showed me why. I opted for the custom insert as well. Can’t wait to hit the trail later today.
The support for local schools and running teams is more than we have received from any other running store over the past few years. The patience of the stuff of dealing with a large group but also providing individualized fittings was incredible. Our team will definitely continue the amazing relationship we have formed with Road Runner Sports.Definitely worth stopping in!
Not a great experience. I waited to check out at the front desk several times while two employees talked in the back room. One lady was helping my friend with some shoes, but never acknowledged me even when I said I need to check out and get going. By the time my friend was ready to check out the manager came over and said if you both check out together you both can save 5 bucks each.I gave her my CC and the manager rang it through and then asked for my friends CC . When she told my friend that she owed 280 something dollars, my friend lost it and asked what was so expensive? They told her the inserts that were made for her daughter cost 80 bucks. My friend lost it, since she was not told the price ahead of time. She decided she didnt want the insoles or the shoes. So now my transaction was in limbo and I had to run my CC again since the manager said she could not cancel out of that transaction. So now I have been charged twice on my bank statement which means I have to drive back up there to get this cleared up. When I called on a Friday night I was told their was not a manager on duty until Saturday. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER
If you suffer from planter fasciitis and or bone spurs this is where you need to go. I wish they had this store years ago before I spent thousands on the foot doctors. Jackson was awesome! We stopped in to buy better shoes while traveling. I was blown away by the service and knowledge from our customers service rep. He ran test on my feet to show my pressure areas and my incorrect feet posture. With this up to date equipment I got tested on two different machines, one where I stood. This picked up pressure areas and the other a very brief run on the treadmill. I never realized how off my feet posture was until I seen it for myself on camera. This testing was all free too. Then he made me custom to my feet inserts. I suffer from planter Fasciitis and bone spurs. I’ve gone to foot doctors for years for shots to help with pain. The doctors offered personalized inserts for $400 plus out of pocket with health insurance or on the shelf generic more affordable ones. Here I learned the real problem and how to fix it a fraction of the cost from what I have been paying. I use to start hurting after a few hours on my feet. Now my feet feel better and can last for 9plus hours before pain starts setting in. We need more of these stores in the South! I can’t thank you enough for helping me!
Im all for a great work environment where employees interact with each other and enjoy what they do. What I have a hard time accepting is that this camaraderie should take precedence over customer service. No greeting, no can I help you find anything and no do you have any questions about the product youve had in your hands for almost 10 minutes. The people who seemed to work there also seemed to be having a good time hanging out. Worst of all? Getting to the cashier, being ready to pay and not to get their immediate attention because they were... chatting. I understand sometimes a cashier may be busy doing work related activities that may accumulate and interfere with their actual function as a cashier, such as answering the phone or solving a problem like a refund. I respect that. What I find hard to swallow is me feeling that I am interrupting someones friendly chat because they wont make eye contact. Id had the same odd impression during another visit to the same place. It wasnt as blatant, but the attitude was there. The store itself is great, customer service, I am sorry to say, wasnt all that great twice in a row.
This place is amazing and really one of the only places Im for sure to buy shoes from again, and Ill tell you exactly why.As soon as you walk through the door youre greeted by one of the lively associates who are eager to help guide you in search of what you need, be it some running pants, the last blue arm band they got in the back, or their one and only shoedog Gait analysis which is the coolest part of the experience.Im very interested to know how I walk and they offer a free look at how you walk and run. With the analysis, they of course offer their amazing custom made insoles, which is perfectly fine to turn down, as the Gait analysis is completely free for anyone who walks in the door. Once the analysis finished one of the nice ladies took her time to fingure out exactly what kind of shoes I would need, what styles I preferred and even helped point out what would best suit my needs to avoid injuries and have the most comfort. I felt as if I was talking to someone very genuine and interested in what I wanted and needed, not just to sell me whatever loomed nice or expensive. I tried on a goood variety of shoes and found some great Nike and Asics for light and long distance running, and I felt like I got the perfect fit and shoes. I never once felt like I was lost or alone in there and Ive never felt so sure of the shoes I bought. At the end of the checkout process, I even went for some socks, which are actually priced about the same as most others. I also opted in for the VIP program the cute sales associate mentioned when I walked in and while I tried on shoes, and which is one of the main reasons I will buy here from now on. So is costs less than 30 bucks for years membership; it renews automatically, but you can cancel the next day and use it for that year. I wouldnt usually get anything like that as I know how sales is, but by getting it I got 10% off, which me and my family will get off everything every time, and I got an extra percentage off because of special VIP sales Roadrunners has all the time which put me at a cheaper price than just the merchandise. Now I would have still chosen to become a VIP because I can go in there within 3 months of wearing a shoe and if its torn, deformed, too ugly lol or just plain too dirty from how I used them, I can just ask to get a new pair of any shoe I choose and I just have to pay the difference in price or get money back! Speaking of money back if I find the shoes cheaper somewhere else, theyll refund me back too for being a member!All in all, this is the most bang for your buck store to buy shoes at and youd never expect to receive such care and service just for shoes. Honestly the only downside is they dont have more stores in malls around where I live in Lawrenceville.
I left a review for this place on yelp last year. I decided not to go there again but still I ended up going there as I love the concept and there are no such stores around.I bought 2 pairs of shoes and sole from here recently. I had to return the sole as they didnt give me the soles that I have been using for last 2 years. They made an issue out of that return and said that they can only issue store credit as I used a gift card for that purchase - I never had a gift card for this store, I found out later that they did multiple transactions (as they didnt apply the right discount in first place) for that sole purchase thats why they couldnt find the right transaction. For exchanging the shoes they said they need shoes in the box, when I called the other store they confirmed thats not the case if youre a vip member.What a shame!! This time I am done with this store forever even though I just live a mile away from here.
A little sorry that the store moved further away from me, but its actually more convenient to get to than Avalon, and I got a parking spot right out front. I went in knowing almost exactly what I wanted so it was pretty quick and painless even though I spent over $100 on a pair or sneakers. I was helped pretty quick and was out of there!
I bought a pair of running shoes a year ago and was told there was a free membership that provided discounts so I signed up. The only time I gave them my credit card was when I paid for the shoes. I never received any verbal or written information that implied a charge down the road. Apparently this company has been holding on to my credit card information for a year and charged me a renewal fee a year later. Although they say it will be credited back to my account within 5 days, never again will I shop with this company.
Sleazy...I just had a baby and wanted to get my running game back so I popped into our local roadrunner to grab a pair of shoes. Being a former division 1 athlete, this isnt my first rodeo, however they insisted upon me using shoe dog. Finally I was allowed to try on shoes. I had to fight with them on what size shoe I want...apparently they know my feet better than I do. Once I picked out my shoes they slipped in the custom orthotics as if they were free and a part of the whole shoe dog experience. When I got to the register I realized they were not free and it was a 5 minute argument for them to remove the orthotics from my shoes because I didnt want them. Ugh wont be returning... Phidippides and West Stride here I come even though it takes me over an hour to get there at least I know I will have wonderful customer experience
I went to purchase a hat and some stickers. I waited for 5 minutes for someone to come to the register. The lady (remained unnamed) at the register proceeded to ring me up. She asked for my ID because I was paying with a card. I said thank you, because I enjoy when people at stores protect against identity fraud. She asked for my number as a way to log my information. I said she doesnt need it. She started typing and realized that she was typing my name into the computer as well as the city I live in according to my ID. I asked what she was doing and stated that she was creating a profile. I said you dont need to do that, you did not ask for my permission. She said she was just doing her job. I stated its invasion of privacy and she needed to ask. Worse customer service experience ever!!! Shop here if out want to get taken advantage of without you knowing.
I thought it would be a nice treat to take my 13 yr old son, who has taken an interest in running, to RoadRunner to get fitted for running shoes. They eagerly administered the ShoeDog gait analysis and fitted him for insoles. “Very nice,” I thought. They mentioned nothing of a fee for the FREE gait analysis. I figured I’d pay a bit of a premium for the shoes - and was happy to. My son was loving the experience. They also gave him a pair of socks to wear to try on his shoes. And here’s where it went downhill.It took forever to get a few pairs of shoes for him to try on, but everyone there is so bubbly – almost too much. By the time we got to the check-out lane, we had insoles, socks, shoes and the VIP membership. I cautiously asked, “How much is all of this? I really just came in for shoes.” The very smiley clerk said, “Let’s see…..you saved $21!” “Yes,” I said, “but how much are we looking at?” He replied, “Your total comes to only $228.”Apparently, the FREE gait analysis is actually $71.99 as they assumed we wanted custom insoles. Uh, no. Not for my 13 yr old. The socks my son liked…I don’t even know the price tag on those, nor did I ask.What in the world? My son isn’t a marathoner. He’s showing an interest in running. That’s all. What a sick bait & switch.I explained that I found this to all be very misleading. I bought the shoes, and as we walked away, my son asked, “What about my inserts?” He was heartbroken, and he was embarrassed that I was assertive in expressing my frustration at the upsell attempt.You guys stink. It’s almost like you’re not good enough to just be great salespeople and sell great shoes. Why do you feel like you have to “sneak in” $128 worth of add-ons?This description doesnt even begin to express my outrage. Your tactics disgust me.Buyer Beware. If you like being upsold, go here. Otherwise, steer clear.
Ive never encountered a staff as rude as the people at this Road Runner location. Just to give you an idea of how bad it was, the guy checking me out walked away in the middle of the transaction so that he could help someone try on some sandals.... Dont buy shoes here.

2022-05-16I got the shoes I wanted and everyone in the store (Sofia and Jarrett) were extremely nice, however, I didnt care for how pushy they were to sell the insoles. I wasnt even given the choice to say if I was even interested in them or not. They just heated them up and put them in the shoes for me to try on. Come to find out they were $80!While everyone was very nice, you can tell they are trained and forced to constantly be cross-selling and upselling. I knew the exact shoes I wanted when I walked in but stayed for 40+ minutes because I had to turn down socks, insoles, other equipment and a VIP membership multiple times. Let customers tell you want they want/need and focus on that.

2022-03-30Customer service at this store was excellent! I was greeted when I first entered the door and was asked what I was shopping for. TKeyah did a very thorough job in assessing my needs and shoe size for my running shoes. She also made excellent recommendations for my footwear. She was also working with a trainee and did an excellent job in guiding him with the steps she was taking with me. Her fun, outgoing and caring personality was a blessing to me from start to finish. This type of customer service just made my day! The whole team was very courteous, knowledgeable and fun! The store was very clean and organized. Keep up the good work, Peachtree Corners store!! Great job to the whole store!!

2022-07-04I had a wonderful experience at the Peachtree Corners store this weekend. Shafeeq was so helpful, patient, and informative. We tried on a variety of shoes and had fun discussing running. He never rushed me and answered all my questions. All the other staff were so friendly as well and it felt like a great team working at the store!

2022-07-06Spent lots of time and money shopping at this location . I had a very bad experience a month ago in the store . They told me my orthopedic doc didn’t know anything about athletic shoes. I had 10 surgeries on Achilles’ tendon and two reconstruction surgeries. The sales staff need to be more educated on the athletic shoes on line . They were telling me the pair I bought weren’t stability’ shoes and argued with me . On line they said stability. Please don’t argue with your guests .

2022-08-05Lately has been a hit or miss. Past four times I have been here they have not have any sizes for any shoes I needed or my girlfriend me, or my dad. We wear a size 6 and 10 which usually shouldn’t be too difficult of a size. The reason I come to a running store vs online is to try the shoe on and they never have anything to try on. Also half of the staff is rude, half is really great so you never know what to expect coming in.

2022-07-03Best service and equipment to put you in the best shoes. They had me walking on a treadmill as they videoed my walk. 3D scan of my feet and molded a soul just for me. Im so excited to go running tomorrow.
