Rock N Roll Sushi - Canton in other cities:
Food is what you expect, I don’t have any problems with the cooks. Management was stellar and courteous, no problems there either. Driver was handed the wrong order however, and a server was very confrontational when I called out the driver for what happened. (Phillip, if you read this; you didn’t do anything wrong, but double check orders and don’t trust who’s handing you food, and I apologize for being hangry.)To the surfer-looking bro with curly hair - you effed up dude, and tried to cover it. I hope that’s your last night serving and they make you a dishwasher again.
I’m a huge fan of sushi and this restaurant was phenomenal. The service was excellent as well! I took my girlfriend on a date here, and we were trying to decide on a “headliner.” Our server helped us choose the Heart Roll and wow! It was definitely one of the best non traditional sushi rolls I have ever had! The more traditional rolls tasted amazing as well. Aside from the food, the atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing, but really what else could you expect from a restaurant called Rock n Roll Sushi? Sushi lovers and rock lovers alike will love this restaurant! It is definitely a must go if you are in the area.
Service is ok. Took forever to get our order. Whole place smelled like they had doused it in bleach upon waking in. Womens restroom was covered in bleach on the floor but the toilets had not been cleaned past dumping cleaner in them (seats included once lowered…) for a while. Restroom cleaning log on the inside of door showed the last time someone signed for cleaning it was mid May - it’s the end of July….
I ordered delivery from here last night and it was the worst food I have ever had. First, I ordered 2 filet mignon combos that comes with salad/soup, veggies and rice. Also has ginger dressing and yum yum sauce, etc. I had ordered the filet med rare and two salads. My meal was $70 with the delivery fee from door dash. When my food arrived, I was missing a salad, no sauce and the filet was WELL DONE, not exactly a high-end dinner. I called and spoke to the MANAGER who was not helpful and blamed door dash (I guess they also cooked the filet) and he offered NO reimbursement or to even bring me the rest of my meal (I am 3 miles from the location) - Now I know why they are located in the Walmart parking lot - sad, was trying to help out a local business and got terrible and rude service!!! Do Not waste your hard earned money on this food.
We went after golf on a Sunday evening. This location of a chain was somewhat recommended by a friend. We were adequately greeted and taken to a booth. The menu looked a bit strange with a lot of special rolls and such. My brother-in-law ordered a roll and spring rolls. I went with edamame and a Poké bowl. The rolls were tasty, but overly crispy bordering on overdone. My edamame was done well but lacked salt throughout. The Poké bowl was the most unusual I have ever had. It had some bland tuna on too much dry rice. Around the edge was cucumber sticks, fresh jalapeño slices, some crushed something, and strawberries! Some good ideas but not together. The roll looked good but was not well made. It fell apart, either picking it up or with chopsticks. Evidently, the Chef missed the Rolling 101 class. Needless to say, the RocknRoll Sushi establishment wont see me in quite awhile.
Love the food, tasty and delicately prepared. The Thriller is one of my recommendations with a side of eel sauce, I was impressed with the service but mostly, the restrooms were impeccable, super clean, spotless, the restaurant was spotless and the restaurant has a cool ambiance. Have been there twice now, will be a repeat customer.I did prefer the waitresses service over the gentlemans on each of the Saturdays as I had to ask for Napkins and Silverware with the fella but the food is so good and that is what matters! Just a server tip... Something Ive been seeing a lot lately is that servers stretch over the table and could risk leaning into your food, like sleeves etc, my room mate was ready to pass our empty starter plates to him but he leaned in to stretch to the end of the table to get the plates, over the main course plates, thats something I was taught not to do when I was a silver spoon server (at 5 star hotels).
If you like high priced subpar sushi then this is the place for you! We’ve had so much fun playing games like..oops we didn’t give you all your order and guess who doesn’t care. You can have the same experience at home if you order from a nice sushi place and put VH1 totally 80s on your tv
Fun experience! We had a pretty large group and they were accommodating. The food was great! We had the hibachi. Others in our group had sushi and enjoyed it as well! The server was very nice and attentive. Only draw back is the price. Not somewhere I would go to often because of that, but on occasion for a change of pace it would be ok.
Rock N Roll sushi has become one of our favorites, if not our #1. We have to drive 45 minutes to get our fix, and weve never regretted it.Service is always great and friendly. Theres been a time or two where its hasnt been as fast as we think it should be, but nevertheless, always reasonable and pleasant. We love it so much, about a week ago we had a surprise birthday party there. About 20 people with 4 children. I believe our waitress was Sarah.. She was AMAZING. How she was able to keep everything in order, drinks filled, and keep up with all of our small requests is beyond me.I also want to shout out to the cook who helped bring the food out. I didnt catch his name, but he was also an absolute delight.Thank you both so much for helping make my girlfriends birthday special. Everyone had a great time and we all appreciate your hospitality. It is beautiful souls like you that keep us coming back10/10 would recommend
Liked the atmosphere. The place looks awesome, and loved the music. Also great staff, where everyone was nice and attentive. Now the sushi is definitely on the high side, and the hibachi was pitiful. If you wanna go to a cool place and spend some dough on a roll, then maybe a place to check out.
From our host who sat us, to our very responsive & personable server, to the delicious miso soup, seaweed salad, sushi & dessert....An overall wonderful experience!I wish I got more photos...Highly recommend the Abby Road roll, Journey Roll & if you like tempura.... The Thriller roll!!Enjoy!!!
I left Northside Hospitals Canton campus feeing famished and quickly ended up at Rock N Roll Sushi.I was the first customer of the day, so the friendly host let me pick any seat in the house. I settled on a booth in front of some giant posters of Stevie Nicks and Slash - legends in my book! Now onto the food...I started with an iced tea and miso soup (see pic). I also ordered a Spider Roll - Halloween is right around the corner, so it felt like the right seasonal choice. Everything was great! I like that they bring you both a fork and chopsticks for those of us who arent quite as adept at sticks - I try, but its good to have the fork as a backup for those small morsels (LOL!).The vibe is rock n roll just as the name implies. Its very entertaining. Over my lunch, I watched music videos (there are TVs everywhere) featuring Stevie Nicks, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Green Day and more. This place rocks and I give it an enthusiastic recommendation!
Say youre a rock and roll fan. Now imagine a restaurant where rock stars are scattered across the atmosphere. Guitars mounted on the wall with care. You spot multiple TV screens around the room with Queen giving one of their greatest performances on stage, followed by AC/DC, Def Leopard, and Kiss. Now take a seat as your handed an album with Rolling Stones adorning the cover. You open it up to a menu ensemble of Sushi named after the best of the best in rock and roll, such as the Sunset Strip, the Cindi Roll and many more. The server brings a beautifully decorated plate of Spicy Tuna and a well placed Rainbow Roll. Your taste buds scream for the concert on your plate. The best part of it all is you dont have to imagine. Rock N Roll Sushi in Canton has the best service of any restaurant you can enter. From the atmosphere, the music, all the way to the servers and management, this place puts on a satisfying performance that will have you asking for an encore.
Loved it. Still loved it.Had a great conversation with the staff, a Kennesaw local, and listened to music appropriate for my age while I waited for my takeout order.Good luck to little Beau. The restaurant was clean and well ordered and the food was delicious. The VIP roll was particularly good!Definitely will be back for more.
Ordered carry out, Ive had their soup before so I decided to give their salad I try. I can get a better selection of greens from the rabbit section in petsmart. dont order the salad. all it was, was a handful salad, no pepper, no salt, no carrots, not even a sliver of cheese.
This place is absolutely amazing! The interior design is immaculate and the food is to die for. The little details of this restaurant did not go unnoticed. I loved the menus that were designed as record labels and I loved the LED lights strung at the bar. The paintings of Rock and Roll legends around the restaurant were eye catching. The staff was so kind and helpful. I actually got to talk to the owner of the establishment and he was so down to earth and you could tell that he cared for his business. My experience was amazing! I will definitely be going back. I got the chicken and shrimp hibachi meal and the California roll. I recommend the Volcano roll! The owner convinced me to try it and I have now found my favorite sushi roll!! The Shrimp Tempura roll was also very good. Loved this place!!
Great food! Awesome service! Catering and event coordination super easy to book! They went above and beyond in every way. I booked a birthday party in their event space. They helped me with setup and take down. Great prices for quality of food, we did a large sushi variety platter and chicken, shrimp, steak hibachi. My friends and family had the BEST time! HIGHLY recommend!!
Unexcusably terrible!Went while there was only one table seated for a to go order of sushi. Sat at the bar to wait. Waitress told me 20 min tops. Took 40 min to bring me a sweet tea and another 40 for my sushi rolls. Successfully sat and served 3 other tables in that time.Gave em a second chance. Wife and I met friends for dinner. 20 min after sat a waiter showed up and dropped silverware. I had to stop them to say we were ready to order. 4 cocktails, 4 hot teas, 4 waters, 3 appetizers, 4 soups, and the waiter cut us off before we could order our meals, even though we were ready. 20 min later, the alcohol arrives. 40 min later the now very cold appetizers arrive. We never got to order meals and didnt eat the appetizers. Will never go back.
I thought that rock n roll sushi was an absolutely new take on sushi. Its all the same good food, but the mostly 90s rock music videos were absolutely what got the spot. I live over an hour away, but since i have friends on this side of Atlanta, i will totally come back just for an afternoon rocking meal. Destiny was an amazing waitress.
For not being an authentic sushi place this spot is pretty awesome. I love how much thought was put into the menus and decor including having their own MTV style TV that played music videos. The sushi was very unique I loved the flavor and Ive eaten at quite a few sushi spots. The staff were very nice and attentive. If I was local I would definitely frequent this restaurant. The prices were a little high but I definitely recommend this place.
My family and I had lunch at Rock N Roll Sushi, and not only was the environment fun and reminiscent of a Hard Rock Cafe with the guitars and rock memorabilia, but the food was excellent, as well. The fish portions were very impressive, and the drinks were great, as well. We will definitely be making this our new sushi spot!
Ive eaten from here a good few times now, through Grubhub and at the restaurant, and its been so good every time! The concept in the restaurant is super cute but the food holds up its end too. The crowd surfer roll and experience roll are probably my favorites. Prices a little high imo, but I keep coming back because its worth it!
Had a great experience at a very unique Rock and Roll Sushi. This definitely doesnt fit the mold of conventional sushi joint. The atmosphere is electric and has rock playing...how much better can it get! Emily, Tyler, and the owner Ben were great! Highly Highly Recommend.
We ate here on Halloween night and again a week later for my sons birthday. The food was great, and the whole atmosphere was fun and lively. We tried some classic rolls that you can find anywhere as well as some of the unique rolls. We especially like the Cyndi roll and the Experience roll. My oldest child doesnt really eat sushi, but they really enjoyed the backstage hibachi. The price is also reasonable. At my sons birthday dinner, we had a few drinks and desserts, and still paid less than I would have expected. We will definitely eat here again.
Had my first visit to Rock N Roll Sushi a few days ago and was not disappointed!!! It was the middle of the day and there was plenty of seating available. The server was great and gave a solid recommendation on one of their signature rolls, which was AWESOME!! Everything came out fresh made and Ill definitely be going back!! Highly recommend for those in and around Canton.
Finally got to eat here yesterday- loved the atmosphere- was greeted by friendly workers, plus it was clean & well-kept. Usually I go to a sushi place & have to get 4 or 5 rolls to feel anywhere near full; my buddy & I each got 2 rolls & left satisfied. Will definitely be back!!
Oh wow! Today was my first time eating here. The food was absolutely amazing! I am definitely ready to go and try additional food. The staff at the restaurant were knowledgeable of the menu and friendly. The restaurant’s interior was clean and the atmosphere was perfect for a Friday night with friends and family!
Never have been let down by the quality of the food or the service. Excellent all around! Love the sashimi and the twisted tuna appetizer is a big must. If you enjoy amazing rolls: the Zeppelin, Cindy Pauper & Chili Peppers. Reasonable pricing and always consistent at Canton.
I love sushi so thought I would check this place out. It DID NOT disappoint!! Loved the vibe and the sushi was delicious. Our server Emily was amazing!! Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without hovering. She suggested a few of her favorites and we tried and loved all of them. Will definitely be back and will request her if she is working. Please check this place out!
My daughter and I tried this restaurant and had a very positive experience! The food was excellent! We walked in during a shift change so we had multiple servers and their communication made our service seamless! We tried the Cyndi and Jailhouse rolls-both were delicious. It has a nice atmosphere, great music played at a level that allows you to enjoy conversation while eating (noticed a previous review of music too loud, wanted to mention as it has been corrected!)Plan on returning soon.
We enjoyed sushi very much. We have some in our family scared of sushi and others very comfortable with it. We all enjoyed it, something for everyone. Check the menu, they have very unique and fun plates to try. Also, cant go wrong with going there for the music even LOL
The ambience, music and videos are excellent. However, the service was awful, super super slow, the place wasnt even busy... The menus are cool because are like old records but sadly quite dirty. Also, a super nuissance, flyes, one of my pet peeves at restaurants. The food was ok, not good, not bad. I dont look forward to going back. I bit pricey as well.
Got more than was expected. Was looking for a dinner for two and sushi was the decided choice. The overall experience was very 80s rock, as it is meant to be. The decor, menu style, and none stop 80s rock ballads bring it all together. In the current atmosphere, the staff all were wearing mask and the customer were sat separated. The food, was delicious. We ordered the Red Hot Chili peppers roll, Heart Roll, and Tommy Lee roll... a few of the highly recommended. I would say that the Red Hot and the Tommy were worth the cost. The red hot was spicy but fresh and the Tommy was warm, with perfectly made steak. If you are looking for a traditional setting for sushi or looking for that perfect looking dragon roll... pass. If you are looking for good service, well made food, and enjoyable atmosphere; have a seat.
I dont know how differently they make their sushi, but good god is it good. I have never had sushi this good out of Georgia. The staff was very friendly and quick to make my orders. I always get the Kiss roll or the sweet home Alabama roll and every time i take a bite, it is like my first time. Madison was very kind and delivers excellent service on a consistent basis.
This place has really elevated the usual Japanese Sushi Bar and Steak House! Each dish is fresh with a high level of flavor. The them of classic rock & roll makes for a unique dinning experience over the usual Japanese shonra of music & style. The service was impeccable & prices well within reason of the level of quality.
The food is amazing and the service is superior. A new fun spin on a sushi restaurant that I found refreshing. It’s worth it to go in just to see the art and decor on the walls. My waitress was very kind and knowledgeable about the food. The manager even spoke to us to see how we liked the food. The staff seemed to genuinely care.
Very disappointed. Highly over priced. Ordered ginger salad... consisted of a tiny handful of mixed greens and ginger dressing and basic roll with 8 pieces consisting of mostly rice and was missing the spicy Mayo drizzle. Over $10. I feel cheated. Do not get take out here. Hopefully the portions are larger dining in.
Finally, Canton has its own sushi restaurant! Visited this evening and was not let down for our first visit. The staff was very friendly and our waitress who was working the bar (her name started with a “V”, Valerie maybe? I can’t fully remember) was excellent! The food was good, I was not blown away with it but it was fresh and well prepared. My only gripe is the prices....the specialty rolls seem to be priced a tad higher than most other places. The basic rolls were priced much higher than other places as well, several dollars higher. If the rolls were larger or contained more fish for the price it would be understandable. I’ve had better Tuna rolls for half the price. All in all it was a good experience, and we will be returning.
Went out for a date night with my husband and sat in the bar seating area. The guy who served us (bartender) was great. He was very attentive without hovering. The drinks were strong, our food was delicious and the atmosphere a lot of fun. We love this place and wish we could find time to go more often. Date visited :Saturday night 9/5/2020
I order delivery from here. The restaurant completely forgot my soup. Called and told them they forget it... the lady had the audacity to tell me I could come and pick it up... like really? I got it delivered for a reason.. trash. Two stars because the sushi was really great!Updating my 2 stars to 5. Came in today and had no issues getting it! The staff was extremely sweet and apologized!!
I placed an online order for pickup and arrived at the time I was given. There were only 2 tables seated and one couple at the bar. I waited for 15 minutes with 3 different servers noticing me but just walking right past without asking if I needed help. Finally someone ask what I needed and I was redirected to the bar to pickup my food. I had to wait another 10 minutes for the girl at the bar to talk to me to give me my food. By the time I got home it was completely cold and I probably shouldn’t have eaten it, but I did and got horribly sick all night from it. I really wanted to like this place but the horrible service and food poisoning scared me off for good.
My colleagues and I stopped in while traveling for work. We had a large group and a handful of us are very picky eaters... almost annoyingly so. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Couldnt have been more pleased with the level of service we received. The food came out promptly. The sushi was fantastic. I never thought I would get sushi that fresh in Georgia!! I think we ordered nearly every roll on the menu. Each was fantastic. We will definitely return on our next trip to Canton.
We have tried this place for the last time. I had 3 hairs in my food... Threw it out. My husband is currently puking from his food. Enough said. Dont eat here. There was no one inside seated at 5:00 on a Friday when I came in to pick up take out. Never again. We had friends stop by after throwing out $75 worth of below average food and they too had nothing positive to say about rock and roll sushi.
When I arrived, there were only 2 seated tables. I was acknowledged by all employees, one who looked to be a manager said she wasnt working and wasnt going to seat us. After several employees looked at me, I was finally sat after a few minutes of standing awkwardly. Both tables seated already had food, and it took us 20 or more minutes to recieve our rolls. We were not checked on by our server the entire time. We were not spoken to, greeted, nothing. I usually love this place but it seems to be going downhill.
Great atmosphere, 1st time.Punk Rock Roll ! GF options for my daughter. You can learn a lot by looking at your past. You’ve heard the saying, “Those who cannot remember the past are doomed to repeat it.” That’s true — but it’s only part of the story. You can’t heal the most pervasive, costly wounds in your life by focusing only on your past. To defeat those giants, you’ll have to look ahead.Too often we try to find healing by looking in our rearview mirrors. When we do that, we’re more likely to crash than heal.In Job 11, God tells us clearly how to get rid of painful memories and move on with our lives. He says, “Put your heart right, Job. Reach out to God .... Then face the world again, firm and courageous. Then all your troubles will fade from your memory, like floods that are past and remembered no more” Job 11:13, 15-16First, put your heart right. You do what’s right — no matter what the other person does. It’s always right to forgive those who’ve hurt you.Second, reach out to God. Invite Jesus into every room in the house of your heart. Often, we’ve invited him into the front room (accepted Jesus as our Savior) — but not the bedroom, kitchen, or garage.Third, face the world again. Don’t hide in a shell or withdraw so you don’t get hurt again. Move forward. Learn to live again.Your past is not your future. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done, who you’ve done it with, or how long you’ve done it. Throughout Scripture, God forgives murderers, adulterers, and slackers, and he uses them to do his work in the world. You, too, have a great future ahead of you. Put your heart right, reach out to God, and face the world again. And then let God do something incredible through you;~PB
First visit today, glad we went! tried 4 different rolls and all were great. Waitress was very nice. Yes, yes, sure and certainly...nice to hear those type answers on a first visit. Atmosphere/music nice, clean, pleasant staff. For non sushi folks (as name says) they have hibachi options too. Sneaking a peek around me I saw other meals looked good too. Minor picky point the edamame app, small pods and overall small for the price. I highly recommend RnR Sushi, look forward to going back! Glad to have another great food option in Canton area.
Awesome place for friends and family! Super clean. Its rock and roll themed, but the music is not blairing loud. My whole family loved all our food, including our super picky five year old and an even pickier mom! Already have plans to come back for my daughters birthday dinner!
My husband and I went to lunch on a Saturday. It was only us dining in the restaurant which was nice. It was clean and definitely had a rock n roll vibe. The music was too loud for a restaurant. I asked them to turn the music down but they said they weren’t aloud to turn it down. I said they should suggest changing the music volume to management. I felt like I was in a vacant night club bar. The food was delicious with generous portions. The service was prompt and friendly. Everyone had a smile on their face. If they turn the loud music down a touch, we will return for another dine in. Thank you!
If youre looking for quality sushi, this is the place! Food is delicious & the rolls are unique. The Rock N Roll atmosphere is fun, and the menu covers look like record albums. We will definitely be back to try new rolls... Order the crispy crab wontons, you wont regret it!
Excellent and attentive staff. Madison was friendly, professional and super patient. She paced our meal perfectly from multiple appetizers to dessert. From the crab wontons to the seaweed salad to various sushi offerings to the brownie dessert, there wasn’t a bad item on the menu. We highly recommend dining here and we’ll be back!
Overpriced but a nice atmosphere. The record covers were.a nice touch for the menus. Unfortunately, the food is not good and overpriced. The sushi rolls look fancy but lack any flavor beyond the sauce put on it. The miso soup tasted like it came from an instant soup mix. The broth lacked flavor and the tofu pieces were rehydrated. Overall service was not much better. It took forever to get a drink refills even with staff just standing around.Go somewhere else. Even in Canton there are better choices.
This was a very cool and fun place to eat. Great quality food you could tell it was fresh and not frozen. The service was the best I have had in a long time. Definitely my favorite place to go lately. Would highly recommend. Great fun and food for all ages and I cannot say enough about the service I have never had such great service anywhere!
The atmosphere is like a 50s(?) themed diner, like steak n shake. Felt cozy and the rock music videos were nice. We had a great server too. Thats where the good times stopped. Ive had better sushi in a Chinese buffet. Ive had better hibachi from the frozen food isle. No, really. The food was abysmal compared to the high restaurant prices they charge. I was happy that the menu said Sweetwater 420 was only $5. What? Nope. Got the bill and I was overcharged and had to have the manager fix it. Ok, here is good comparison: if Krystals made tuna rolls and charged $8 for it (6 thin slices of mainly unflavored rice but drenched in sauce to cover it up). Never, ever again.
Went here last Sunday and it was great!! Great waitress her name was LayLay. Super clean restaurant! Food was great! Our rolls were made infront of us at the bar by a chef named Cody. He was super friendly and food was delicious!! Glad Canton has an upper scale sushi place with fair prices!
This is an amazing spot! The decor amd music is quite lovely even the menus are super neat! I had the scorpion roll and the velcro pygmies roll both were very yummy. The velcro pygmies roll has pop rocks but do not be detoured by that it works really well with the other elements of the roll. I also had a ginger salad the dressing was a little creamier than other places but I really enjoyed it. Our server Chris was fantastic and very attentive. Cant wait to go back!
Was pleasantly surprised by this place, being in front of Walmart I initially had some concerns but the food was solid! Came for lunch and had a thriller roll, fried rice and a beer. Was excited to see Sapporo on tap. Food was solid and Kaitlyn (sp) on server was nice and efficient. High recommend and will return.
Have been to Rock N Roll Sushi many times since their soft opening and up until now have found the staff to be friendly and food good. However this past Saturday we visited for a birthday celebration dinner and my opinion has changed dramatically. My family visited the restaraurant with my sister-in-law and her 4 year old daughter. She has visited other RNR sushi locations and knew her daughter would not eat the chicken tenders (or anything else on the menu). So before visiting we stopped and picked up food at a fast food restaurant that we knew she would eat. Upon being seated we were told by our server that the manager did not like outside food being brought in and that she used to have a sign on the door (that was not there when we visited that stated this) and if we saw a girl in a pony tail to try and hide it. We explained that she was a picky eater but we wanted to celebrate with sushi. He said he personally didnt care but that she did. We ordered our drinks and less then 10 seconds later a female employee who did not identify herself but did have a ponytail and seemed to suggest she was the manager made it very clear that either we leave or throw the food out and order chicken tenders from the menu. She seemed to imply that this was a health code violation; which seems strange since most restaurants weve visited dont seem to have this same health code requirement. We used to have the same issue with our son and never were forced with this ultimatum at any restaurant. So we left and went to another restaurant that again did not have this health code requirement.I understand wanting to try to maximize profit but to basically kick out customers based on this seems a little outside the norm. Its a shame since we really used to enjoy the environment and the wait staff has always been very friendly; up until now.
My husband really wanted to try this place out because we love sushi, especially at Izumis. Unfortunately this was not top notch food and reminded us of a regular Chinese buffet. Way too much sodium and not tasty. Not prompt service either and the place was almost empty of customers. Wont be returning. Seemed to upset my husbands stomach as well. Id give it a 2.5 stars if I could.
Ordered a hibachi lunch for a “Togo” order and the bag was so organized and well prepared I couldn’t believe it! Most restaurants simply do not take the time to do a good job with most Togo orders but the young lady named “Sky” was amazing and definitely makes you feel welcome with a bright smile and abundance of knowledge! Will most definitely be back!
This restaurant is wonderful! Not only is the food fantastic but the service is outstanding! Also for someone like myself with Celiac Disease, it is safe! One of the owners has celiac and he takes great care in making sure that his staff is knowledgeable so that the customers are safe! It’s amazing to feel free to eat in a sushi place knowing that your food needs are fully understood! Love this place!
Awesome, FRESH sushi! Val was our server, really knowledgeable about the food. We ordered 2 rolls, fried cream cheese/crab wontons, 2 pieces salmon Nigiri and a couple drinks.....$30 bucks including tip, not bad at all. We sat at the sushi counter and watched her make it. So happy its so close, we WILL be going back, again and again. I wish I could give this place more stars!! Loved it
I honestly don’t understand the reviews. Literally just walked out after eating here for the first time a can with all certainty say that I will never go back. I can overlook mediocre food if the service is great but apparently their service is goes with their food, mediocre at best. The kid was excited about her chicken, all six pieces of it. Overpriced, poor quality, never again.
My 22 yr old daughter went there on her birthday. (9/18/20)She said, Mom! You got to see this place, you will love it! Its all about your era and time. I love the ambiance and I know you will too!! Service is great and the people are good-looking!So we went together and I gave her props; she knows her mama!A week later, I dropped her off at work and went to RNR Sushi! They have the Best Jalapeno Poppers youll ever put in your mouth! When she got off work, I took her to dinner @ RNR Sushi (10/2/20) This makes 2wice in 1day!Its more than Sushi,SoComeGetchuSome!April MorganBig shout out to Big Ben!!!!
Good food, Good service, Good atmosphere, just not filling and is expensive for me and who I go with. Went there today and ended up spending $60+ with tip on 2 appetizers, 2 things of sushi (California Roll and Super Crunch Roll), 1 chicken hibachi and 3 drinks. If youre looking for quick sushi and youre in the area its good to go there but I wouldnt recommend it to everyone.
The food and drinks were good and pricey but the service was subpar. We waited for about half an hour at the bar before getting a table. The food was goof but the 4 meals we ordered came out at different times. The waitress was pleasant but she did not know what she was doing or maybe she was overwhelmed. Either way until they get better staff this place is less than average.
Didn’t get past the entrance. We stood and watched the only server there bus a table from customers that had left. There were 5 customers in the restaurant, and we were told repeatedly to wait to be seated as the server cleared off the only dirty table in the place. As we waited, another woman stuck her head out from the back kitchen area and loudly asked us to sit down in the waiting area and wait a bit. I checked my watch and realized we had been here for 7 minutes and were being told to wait to sit at a table in what was virtually an empty restaurant. I figure if two people have to tell us to wait and 7 minutes in, we can’t even get a seat, what’s the point in waiting around for bad service.I see that these guys get some good ratings, and who knows, they may even have great sushi. We didn’t get to find out, we decided to leave. For reference, this was at about 1pm on a Saturday.
I went here on the grand opening weekend, was the first time that I’ve been to a Rock-n-Roll sushi. I can say that it didn’t disappoint. The crispy crab wontons on the starter menu were unbelievable and I don’t even like wontons usually and I could have eaten theses all night! And for those that don’t like sushi the hibachi was great also. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
A great mix of food & fun. I’m an avid sushi enthusiast, even traveled the world to dine amongst sushi royalty in the biz, and I can tell you that this place has built a great old school base that is mixed with modern pizazz & captivating atmosphere.Great job R&R Sushi Canton & Thank you!
Terrible, tto forever just to order a drink. Food was cold and took to long to get. Also asked for extra yum yum sauce. Never got it even though the waitress even said it was 50 cents extra for the sauce so she heard me. And they didnt play rock and roll. They played pretty much just new alternative. Yeah Im never going back
I GET SICK EVERY SINGLETIME I EAT HERE. On top of that I always have to wait for my To-Go order and recently only tipped $1 because of my lousy service + wait time yet again. Now I go to see on my statement that I have been overcharged and looks like the server added himself a $10 instead of my original $1 tip, criminals. Safe to say I wont be back. And to anyone else daring to eat here check your statement after to make sure you get charged the correct amount. Take your money elsewhere.
Was disapointed, ordered sushi and it was dry and tough. The person that is directly in the back of the restaurant, when you walk in did not wear a mask the whole time we were there. The kitchen help was seen not wearing masks along with our waitress. They did have the tables at a 6 or better distance. Was our first time most likely ikey wont return too expensive to waste my money to see if they get bettervor not.
Been here many times but this is my last. Paid $15 for food that wasn’t even that good. It has no flavor unless u drown it in soy sauce. A bug was crawling on our plate, the water tasted fishy. We’re in the middle of a pandemic and nobody is wearing a mask and if they are its around their chin. The chefs arent even wearing masks and no gloves at that.
We went here to try it out we got the Fried Thriller Roll it was not freshly fried it was warm like it had been under a warmer taste good but was not cooked when ordered...the fried rice w/shrimp was also the same but the shrimp were freshly cooked and placed on top of old rice that had been sitting it was stiff and stuck together I can’t say how it taste because when I tried to fork it up it was so stiff I couldn’t eat it I touched it and it had no heat to it at all..The shrimp& Lobster meal was over seasoned w/fried rice& vegetables also was the same the rice was old the veggies& lobster was freshly cooked.. If the food was cooked when ordered I would give a 5 but to cut corners and serve cold food just don’t work with me the server was nice oh and the Wontons were hot and good after I asked her to not bring no more old food sitting under a warmer to us.
Unbelievably poor service. Placed a delivery order at 4pm, its now 7:30p and I canceled my order. Attempted to contact the restaurant only to sit through their insufferable auto attendant just to be told all lines are busy and to call back. May be great dining in, but beware for online ordering.
Before this nonsense with COVID-19 this place was amazing - huge portions, very filling, great food. But now take out = small half portions that dont even remotely look like the pictures online but are still the same price. NOT worth $30 AND trying to get the manager on the phone is impossible thanks to their automated computerized assistant who only wants you to order online. How about having a human answer the phone.
I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times since they’ve opened and the experience has always been excellent! Both the food quality and the service are always great and our family looks forward to coming back many times in the future! Highly recommend trying it out!
Fantastic experience. I was there opening night and based on the speed and quality of service, you would never know it. Impeccable from the hostess, to the bartending and service, and absolutely outstanding food. You would be remiss to neglect a trip to this award-worthy establishment.

2022-02-11Best place in town for sushi!! Such a great vibe and even better staff. Definitely go for the headbanger shrimp. And you can’t go wrong on any of the rolls. I just wish I could eat more than one!

2021-07-29So awesome! The atmosphere was so cool! They used old album covers for menus, the drink options were great and the service was top notch. The specialty sushi roll options were fun and different, my only issue was all the options were either spicy or tempura which arent really my jam. Wish there were fresher choices there however, ordering from the classic menu did not disappoint at all! Will definitely be back got another visit!

2022-07-31Cool atmosphere. The sushi rolls may be plated pretty, don’t expect them to do the traditional ones correctly. I find them over priced for getting the sauces wrong on the roll I ordered or they gave me the wrong one.( still not sure if they thought it was supposed to be made that way) All I know is I was looking for one with yum yum sauce, I thought I ordered one with the right sauce and they drizzled teriyaki tasting sauce on it. I don’t recommend this place for actual traditional sushi. It’s more for an atmosphere, not a decent priced roll and traditionally made roll.

2022-05-29Honestly saw this place on a trip to a wedding stopped by to try it. The way this place looks is great but the food was terrible. We ordered a lemon drop shot and by the time it got to us it was watered down because it had been sitting on the bar since we ordered it and after 40 more min. the food arrived we took it to go and realized most of it was messed up. And the legend roll we ordered after all that time there had a hair inside of it. For the price and service dont eat here.

2022-04-17I used to like this place! But last night my husband and I went for dinner and had the most unappetizing experience. Dirty cups with gooey residue all over the inside and out, every single plate we received for appetizers had reminisce of food and sauces on them. They were out of napkins and our server gave us 1 singular napkin. My husband went to use it and saw chunks of food from what we guess what another persons meal and he had grabbed the napkin from another table that had left. The manager ended up giving us a discount which was nice, but still will never be coming back.

2020-10-26Low end but creative sushi place. It’s unique and fun when you enter and the sushi chef was talkative and looked to make you happy. The waiter clearly hated his job and didn’t do it well. The sushi was more of a pile of ingredients instead of well crafted art. Sushi is supposed to be a refined palate of flavor and color but in this place I was overwhelmed with one flavor or consistency. Where they lacked in finesse they compensated with quantity.I ordered 2 sushi entrees and was so full I could not finish the food.So I’m summary it’s average and has a rock n roll theme. If you are looking for excellent sushi then this is not the place.

2022-08-21This place is great. The warm sushi roll idea is new to me but definitely a good one. My wife and I will be back. Madelynne was our server and was very nice. Very polite and able to answer our questions.
