The buffalo wings were good and a decent size. The pizza was just ok though. The pizza is cooked well done, but the cheese wasn’t the best. It was a bit greasy. This place is convenient because it’s next to a movie theatre, so we stopped in.Updated reply to owner: No, the pizza is not for me and we won’t be back. I hope you enjoy your pizza though.
It’s Friday! What better way to celebrate than with a pizza from Romeo’s?!?! They have the absolute best pizza around! The atmosphere is friendly and intimate! The staff is sweet and accommodating! The pizza is amazing! Look at their reviews! I firmly believe that everyone loves Romeo’s! They’re available through takeout! Do yourself a favor! You’ll be so glad that you did!!This is a large meat lover’s pie with extra cheese, peppers, mushrooms, and onions! It’s eight slices of perfection!!
I am the boyfriend of Danielle Harris she posted about this place earlier about how they left our food just sitting on the top of the oven for almost an hour while we sat INSIDE! right in front of their faces. They blatantly could care less about their quality. And Yes I have been on the toilet, throwing up all morning and had to call out of work due to food poisoning from there awful pizza. DO NOT EAT HERE PLEASE!
I’m not a Pizza person and I don’t eat Pizza very often. Last night we got a large Meat Lovers pizza , Vegetarian pizza, Garlic Cheese bread and Jalapeño Poppers from this place and we were happy with the taste, quality and portion sizes of our order. The Meat Lovers pizza had a good amount of meat (Sausage, Ham, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage) and Vegetarian pizza also tasted fine. Both the Garlic bread and Jalapeño Poppers were also good. All in all, I don’t have any reservations in recommending this place if you are looking for a quick bite, dine in or take out.
Food is great, but service was slow. I was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes for takeout. After arriving at the suggested time, I then had to wait for 30 additional minutes until I asked where my food was and found it it had just been forgotten sitting on top of the oven. Not cool**Update; the wonderful management reached out to me to make things right. I am more than happy to keep returning for some of the best pizza in Atlanta
Shame on me been coming here for years. Still this is the best place ever. The owner is amazing she always speaks and makes sure you are taking care of . the staff is amazing and yes of course everything you eat is delicious . cant say anymore about this place. Its just so good
Two stars is generous. The XL is probably the size of if not smaller than a normal large. Skimpy on everything - dough, sauce, cheese. It’s like eating a piece of paper. I spent $100 trying to feed a bunch of teens, and the pizza arrived cold and was just nasty. Will never order from this place again.
This place is family owned. And Sharons ability to make everyone welcome is outstanding.Tell her Mitchell sent you.Now to the 🍕.. And food..The pizza is fresh and packs more flavors then most places.( i was in the restaurant bize for 20 plus years and also a chef )Trust me it is worth the visit.
My first time here. I stopped in for a quick slice of cheese & pepperoni (the standard all pizza places are measured by). Romeos was fast and the pizza was good. Great NY style pizza and a great crust. Ill be back for the whole pie. And did I mention they have cannolis? Ill be back for one of those too.
Not only does Romeo’s have amazing Pizza, but they also have delicious side items. We can’t order pizza without also getting their Mac & Cheese Jalapeño Poppers and wings. The service is phenomenal and the staff is so friendly when you order/pick-up. I highly recommend trying Romeo’s. You won’t be disappointed!!
I came here last night (11/7) because I knew that it is one of the only places near me that I can buy a single slice of pizza, however I will never be returning back. I walked in and there was not a single mask in sight. Not only did none of the employees have on masks, they also did not have on any gloves...once again...in the middle of a global pandemic. The overall experience was simply so disturbing to me that I didnt even eat my pizza because I felt as though it was unclean.
Good pizza, disappointing service. Ive been here several times before and the service was a lot better in the past. My experience yesterday was bad enough to make me leave a review. The existence of the lunch special seems to be at the whim of whoever is at the register. After I was overcharged at the register, the cashier didnt bother to ask me if I wanted any addons like cheese or pepper or even simple stuff like *NAPKINS* since he was so busy gossiping with the cook the very *second* after pickup.I wont be back. I really, really wanted to like you, but the attitude you have toward your customers is appalling.
I go there often, the food is always good. The owner lady (I think) sometimes is busy and doesnt answer right away or notice youre there even. A lot of times people walk in and no one is at the register and they are sitting at a table. There was also a young man who was making pizzas, rang someone out at the register and then touched a cooked pizza to add more toppings. Havent seen them clean anything so it kinda concerned me. Not too bad to eat, its good for a slice but just the inside people and experience are weird.
I absolutely adore Romeo’s. Great atmosphere and wonderful people. I live almost two hours away and EVERY TIME I come through this is the only place I want food from, definitely worth that drive. Also, I highly recommend the Margarita Pizza if you are having trouble deciding, though it’s all great. The pizza is fresh and ingredients are great quality. Do yourself a solid and choose Romeo’s.
We love the pizza and garlic cheese bread. Best pizza in town!! We come here a couple times a week. Food is awesome, but we’re always concerned about about the cleanliness. Today my boyfriend saw him put beef on the pizza with his bare hands... Can management please make some changes? We greatly appreciate it!
First time I order from this place and what I get was 3 pizzas with a over cook tomato sauce, that was close to be tomato paste. And the crust was over time into the oven. So this was first and last time like a customer to romeosin responce to the owner, still can come a pick up 2 of the 3 pizzas I ordered.
Went there on a date. Atmosphere is well. There is seating inside and out with plenty of space. The pizza is at a great price for a slice and the small ones are also a good deal. Very convenient location. There is a movie theater nearby and other small stores to venture into.
Weve loved Romeos forever...long time patrons. However last night for the first time, we were disappointed. So disappointed I decided to leave a review. To the new owners, the pizza we received was uncooked with cheap ingredients. Please do better. I wish you guys all the best.
Having lived in NYC for nearly all our lives (25+ years) my husband and I were in a search to find the perfect NY-style slice that was close to home. This place hits the spot 100%. If anyone says that this isn’t NY-style, they obviously have not lived there or just don’t know what good pizza tastes like. Do yourself a favor. Try it out. There’s a reason it’s always so busy! Love this place!
This place has decent food. It’s good. But not great. When I think of New York style pizza I think of floppy soft bottom pizza, the bottoms on this pizza aren’t super hard but not soft. Also it’s over priced for pizza that’s not as good as the price. Out side of Atlanta Pizza places tend to be alittle over priced than inside the city so it’s understandable. Our service was great and food came out fast!
Thank you for replying to me and I want to say your pizza is absolutely wonderful I miss coming by and getting some slices and a pie on the way home and Joey is the name I use on my review my name is Matt, Sharon I hope youre doing well and a big shout out to you and pizza I miss it. 10stars
We have been faithful customers at Romeo’s since we moved to Johns Creek in 2012. Ordered a pizza tonight for pick-up and was both astonished and disappointed that they are not following public health guidelines. My first Concern was no signage telling customers they were required to wear a mask to enter! That was followed by the realization that no one in the shop was wearing masks. I could understand the pizza cooks not wearing a mask, but there was no excuse for the girl working the counter and interacting with the public for not wearing a mask.Very disappointed in the response of this establishment to public health safety and respect for their customers. We have traveled a little this summer and everywhere we went people were wearing masks and requiring customers to wear masks in order to enter shops, hotels, etc.Very disappointed, we’ll be moving our business to a pizza restaurant who is following guidelines.
18Mar18..My wife and daughter stopped here after a volleyball tournament. We ordered wings and a meat lovers pizza. The wings were fried hard with sauce on the side. Hot and delicious. The pizza was awesome. The crust was thin and just hard enough. The waitress was on point. We will be back when we are in the area..
The best pizza around.... guaranteed. You can taste the quality. Ive tried every pizza joint in the surrounding area and Romeos is superior in every way. From the friendly and inviting atmosphere, to a staff that seems to truly enjoy their jobs. To put it simply, Romeos NY Pizza in Johns Creek is the best.... Hands down. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. You can thank me later.
This is the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The service was horrible. We walked in and the girl at the counter on 10/13 was totally unfriendly, acted like we were bothering her. Then the pizza came and to say it was disgusting is an understatement. The crust, which was thin, still managed to be doughy. The vegetables were slimy and the sauce was bitter. Never ever would I go back here.
Not terrible. Pizza slices are what youd expect from the oven. Service was ok. I definitely didnt like the price of a slice but maybe thats bc Im old. Any slice over $3 better have a wow factor. This one did not. So if you want a culinary delight, shop elsewhere. But if you want to shut up the brat you created, treat him to this restaurant. Its perfect for a generation of thankless kids who dont know anything about taste or quality.
The sauce is awesome and their cheese sticks are devine and deliciousness, all rolled into one = #Chesseheavan. My family and I love Romeo’s Pizza and the staff is very friendly and a super clean restaurant. When we think Pizza...... we think Romeo’s pizza!!!!! Thank you for amazing, fresh, and most importantly, authentic Italian Pizza! No cook nites are easy!
Really nice restaurant, it was a smart idea to locate this restaurant next to the theater. Really nice service, the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere. The pizza came really fast and was enormous. Would reccomend if you are trying to get a quick and tasty bite before the movies. Also would reccomend if you just want a decent pizza that is made with passion.
The pizza is good. The service is meh. The owner is unfriendly. The price changes every time I go in. It isnt the best pizza in the workd, but it isnt Papa Johns either. I dont not recommend. I just say, dont expect a hello or goodbye for stopping in. And plan on spending between 8 - 11 dollars for the same order depending on who rings you up.
Well Im from NY, and my family and I recently moved here from NY one year ago. I speak to my sister on a daily basis and one of the things that I missed about NY was the food. I told her that there was no good pizza places to eat in Ga. Boy was I wrong. Romeos pizza is like taking a slice of NY and sending it right to Johns Creek Ga. The pizza is great and so are the hot wings. If you live in the neighborhood or just visiting, stop by and have a slice!... Good Job!
Romeos Canton location is one of the worst experiences I have had in recent memory. The food was literally rotten, salad with rotted tomatoes, black mushrooms, and black slime on the lettuce. When brought to the owners attention, he had a what do you want me to do about it response. He was rude, and showed a complete lack of care or concern about the problem. The pizza was undercooked, and the sauce tasted old, thick and just awful. What a shame! This was our first and last purchase at Romeos of Canton, and we will share this with our community as well. when you are in the food industry serving food that is rotten, it is shameful, and potentially dangerous to the health of your customers.
For a $15 cheese pizza they did not put the amount of cheese a real NY pizza has. They are already thin crust so they already save with dough but the topping was cheap. Paid $18 for pepperoni pizza and got minimal cheese and pepperoni. Very budget tasteless. Family from NY said one of the worst NY pizza in Atlanta area. Have to keep hunting for true NY pizza. Cant call urself NY pizza if u want to be budget. Rather pay more for the real thing.
The service is terrible. I got there at the published open time 11:30(not so early for a restaurant - right?) and was promptly yelled at when I opened the door Were Not open!! I replied ok well what time do you open? The blonde Asian girl said well whenever we get everything ready - try back in 30 minutes. Shocking, Seriously? People can run a business that way??? I mean open whenever you decide. Too many pizza joints inbthe world to waste my time on rude staff who just dont care.
I go to Romeos every Friday night with my family and enjoy the salads and pizza, not to mention their wonderful liquid refreshment selection! They are so friendly - Owners Sharon and Gene are AWESOME ! If you want a good pie you gotta stop by :) Camille and Family Luy you guys !!!
I was going to try this place but never have I seen an owner of a business answer back low star reviews in such a low class, childish and sarcastic manner. So unprofessional. If you’re this cocky to criticism there’s no way I’d want to try your restaurant. Good luck because it will catch up to you.
Absolute and utter joke. They have a neon sign that says “open late slices”. Came out of a movie next door at 9:05 and door was locked. Not letting any more customers in. Apparently late in Johns creek is closes at 9:00pm. How they stay in business next to a movie theater is legitimate question. Don’t expect them to be there much longer with this business model.
Now this is what you call real italian pizza!!!!was in johns creek for a business meeting and we decided to check this little gem out.we got to meet the owner which was a pleasure and he helped us pick out some of the best italian dishes atlanta has to offer!!!!!wish they had a place like this in Oveido FL.7 STAR just for them beeing extra extra nice which you hardly see now days!!!!!
Good food, awful customer service. Both times of visiting the establishment within the last week, the two different girls who served me were incredibly rude. I did not feel welcomed or even treated with the cordiality required of servers. Whoever hires these girls needs to reevaluate.

2022-07-10Great pizza here. They are open untill 10pm. They sell by the slice, if you dont want a whole pizza. I bring everyone i know here to eat because its one of the best pizza restaurants in town. For not having a brick oven, the taste is just as good as if they did have a brick oven to cook. Definitely worth trying if you are in the area. Even if you are not in the area its worth the drive for the quality!

2021-08-19Took the opportunity to check out Romeo’s New York Pizza. Opted for the Meatball Parmigiana. The restaurant was still patio seating but with the slight breeze it was pleasant. The sandwich was quite delicious and the fries were perfect too. We will have to stop by Romeo’s again soon!

2022-05-30Ive been coming to this place since 2010. Ive watched this pizza joint grow and develop. The pizza, salad, sandwiches and other goodies, have always remained consistent in quality and taste. This is a family-owned operation, its what I wish more businesses possessed. Its just so hard to find 360° of quality service, food and atmosphere. Thank you, Romeos Pizza.

2022-05-07This is now the second time they have messed up my order. Large Supreme, substitute black olives for mushrooms on half. They put the mushrooms on the same side as the black olives and the pizza is missing half of the cheese.

2022-03-15I really love this place. I find most pizza places either overcook or use to much cheese on their pizzas. The crust is also very good. I love their Cesar salad and the wings are great too. Its a lot better than your franchise pizza chains and I love that its family owned.

2022-03-27First time here for pizza so not sure what to expect. I asked for a base other than marinara and a white sauce was suggested. It was a great compliment to the anti-vegetarian pizza which was called Meat Lovers. Although order at the counter and delivered to the the table the staff checked on us 3 times to be sure all was okay. Beverages are self served. We will be back.

2022-05-18In my experience, the ordering and pickup was fast and ready on time (1 star) and the cheese sticks were good (1 star). However, the pizza, wings, and zeppolos were below par. The crust, cheese, and sauce had minimal flavor. It’s football pizza. The wings were cheap and the sauce was clearly generic. The zeppolos were missing that crisp and had uneven dusting from the sugar powder. Unfortunately, I can’t see myself getting pizza from here again.

2022-03-28Me and my boyfriend had put in our order and sat at the bar inside until the pizza was ready. They had us waiting over half an hour for one pie pizza and it would have been longer had I not asked about it because not to our knowledge it was already ready just sitting on top of the oven. No one said anything or called out our name for the order. The lady who had taken our order was just aimlessly doing nothing and didn’t follow up with us. All the staff had seen us sitting there for a while didn’t even ask for an update if we’d been help. On top of all of that my boyfriend got food poisoning from it. NEVER AGAIN!

2022-02-20Horrible service, last nightwe got to this place 15 minutes before closing we didnt know that, we ordered and we ask how long for pizza to get ready they said 10 minutes. Theres when we find out that they were about to close. We ask if we could be able to eat our pizza there they said yes. We started eating in a hurry. Five minutes later they asked us to pack our food to go and leave, because they were closed and they have to clean the table. We had to finish our food outside on the cold. We could have gone somewhere else if they had told us we couldnt eat there.
