This is by far the WORST TIRE SHOP. We have been her 2.5 hours and still have not gotten our tires on. They took all four off I’m assuming to make sure we stayed to get their service. I have asked them what’s taking so long and he says they are working on it. Do not come here for service, it’s awful!
Ordered two tires 12/1/19 and was told they would be ready to be installed 12/2/19 by 9 am, I called ahead before driving there and was told the tires were never ordered and there is nothing in their system saying that they needed to be ordered. This is not how a business should be run. Would not recommend to anyone.
I had been using this shop for two or three years before they made recent changes to the shop itself and how it ran.I purchased a tire from them a few weeks ago. Within a week the same tire was flat again. Fast forward through weeks of refilling my tire, I return to service a different tire. They really take their time getting to my vehicle yet hastened to service vehicles that arrived after me.Their attitude toward even getting started on my vehicle was enough for me to go elsewhere, and I did, but before I left they then tell me that I need to replace all tires except the one I told them I purchased from them even though it was half flat as she examined. I knew I need to replace two but not the other. But wait theres more:After going to another shop, he tells me the tire they sold me had been patched and the patch broke. We then looked at the other tire they recommended I replace. It was still a decent tire. They sold me a bad tire, then recommended I change a good one?
Good used tire. Had a minor mix up on witche tries I was supposed to get but the owner was quick to honor his word and gave me a really good deal. Drove an hour and 6 mins to get there and would and will do again when I new more used tires. Very good and cool folks to deal with. This was the trucker location.
I previously went to the Lawrenceville location that is down the street from this particular one and they are in business together. When I went to have services done at that Lawrenceville location they closed it down and sent us up the street to the Tucker location and as a result the Tucker location is refusing to honor any make up services that the Lawrenceville Location failed to do. I found out, that the broken studs, on my tires, that were supposed to have been repaired, we’re not. And I’ve been riding around my family on DANGEROUS support. Fortunately, while shopping, I decided that I was going to have my tires rotated and balanced at Costco, and THEY found these things out. It alarmed me now, so much so, that as to whether all the work they say that they had performed was actually performed at all. And now going to the Tucker location they are refusing to fix or resolve or handle any of the situation that occurred down the street at their other business location. And are now CLAIMING that THEY CAN NOT find my receipts, so they don’t have to honor it. However, they do have some of my receipts for work that they have done in the past. ;-()Supposedly. But now suddenly when things need to be corrected, they are unable to find the receipts that support the repairs that need correcting, and they are REFUSING to fix these missing services.
I went for an alignment on my truck, back in July. it took less than 5 min..literally..i told the person i never even seen my truck come back to the back where the machine is..she tried to tell me otherwise, however had to be 4 hours away asap and left..knew immediately nothing was done. when i got back to the city which was about a month later i went back , told them my problem and they did another alignment no charge. issue few weeks later a tire is worn on the inside. at this point if they seen the tire then ..how did they do they proper align and why wouldnt they mention this as it is a tire shop? and if my tire was fine at the time this also tells the person doing the align does not know what he is doing as my vehicle will need another and i def wont be returning
Updated -Ended up going back the next day, mostly from necessity so Id have a spare tired for an off road trip. But happy I did. The guys worked with me on the price of the tire and expressed their sympathy about the system and how theyre working on it. After they had my business, I found out they gave me a free tire rotation, that was a nice gesture on their part.Terrible Inventory management:The Decatur and Tucker location both have separate inventories. Decatur did not have what I was looking for, but Tucker did. I get to the Tucker location to purchase one of the two tires in the photo for ~$45. They did not have it, it was at their warehouse and it would take an hour to get. I leave and call back later. They inform me that they have the tires now, but the price on the website is wrong and they wont honor the price (price for both tires should be $90 apparently). While Im grateful for them catching the error, it reflects very poorly on them that their inventory is not actually accurate for their location, and they will not honor the price that was listed (maybe I should have noticed a funky looking price, but generally speaking companies honor their prices they have listed).
They cheated me. After keeping me in there over 3 hours awaiting tires I ordered two days prior, by taking my tires off, they said my alignment would be free. She lied. She added mount and balance which was already included in the quote, then deducted it as if theyd given me credit for the alignment due to piss poor service. I called back. No return call. I called the owner, Max. No return call. Be aware. Get your quotes in writing or record the call as I did.
I saw this business while driving by and was impress with the fact that I had also seen another location before some where else. So one day I needed a tire and decided to do business with them. The customer service tech said I needed all the tires to be replaced so I agreed as the total cost was $200 which I thought was a good deal and the fact that they all were the same exact brand Michellin made it even better. However after a couple of months one of the tires had a quarter sized bubble on the side so I was disappointed and of course they were out of warranty. Beware there is only a 3 day warranty on the tires!
I stopped by this morning (4/26/17) to get a tire and not even 5 minutes after pulling up I was greeted by a friendly face (Nancy). They found the right size used tire which by the way looked almost brand new and took no time to install and balance it.. I will definitely be going back and I would definitely recommend to anyone. May I add Nancy was very sweet and professional.
My husband ordered 4 new tires for my Lexus. One tire actually blew 1 week after we purchased it while driving on the freeway. We had the car towed (because this place kept our tire key lock) to get a temporary tire put on while the new one was being ordered. As soon as I drove out of the driveway I hear this loud deflating sound. I couldnt go back immediately because they were closing so we just kept a close eye on it. The tire has been deflating ever since.... I noticed it has a nail in it. We called about the replacement only to find out they ordered the wrong tire. Its been 3 weeks and still no replacement tire. The so called new tires feel awful. I feel every single bump! They changed the breaks but I here squeezing and did not hear that before. If I were you I would run far away from these shady people.
This is an awesome tire shop...I showed up close to closing. Wentvto several shops for 20 tires. Either not in stock or ridiculous price... I was advised I was missing a few lung bolts. The manager advised me to go to AutoZone down the street to purchase. They not only waited for me but gave me a great deal on 2 tires. Since I have referred several customers that only had awesome things to say about Safe Tires.I will be getting my next set of new tires from these guys.thanks Safe Tires for making a single female comfortable during this process.
Came in for 4 used tires and an alignment. The next day woke up to 3 flat tires in my drive way. Upon going back to them he told me there was nothing he could do and if I dont like it, kick rocks. Will never take my business there again. Threw away $250 with them but I wont make that mistake again. The owner a gentleman by the name of Able is a pumpous, arrogant, crook! I hadnt even had the tires a full 24 hours and he wouldnt even entertain possibility that the tires may have had something wrong with them as they wouldnt hold air. Now, Ive been too many used tire shops in Tucker off Lawrenceville Hwy and if ever this happened they would check it and or plug/patch the problem away and have been on the road. But these people are so rude, and uncaring, I simply felt stupid for trying them out and giving them my business.Stay AWAY FROM THEM!DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!Anywhere ELSE BUT HERE!You WOULD BE FOOLISH NOT TO HEED MY WARNING !
This place is an absolute joke and crook!!! Ive never seen a manager (Max) run from his mistakes like he does. Had some front end suspension work done. Both the right and left CV axles were replaced in February. Now when making a right turn, the car makes a loud clucking noise and sounds as if its about to fall apart. After that work was done, went back up there for an alignment. Was advised needed new tie rods and new cv axles and that the alignment may be off due to that. How do I need a new CV axles if you just replaced them sir? Mind you the tie rods had been replaced as well.Bought the car back up there again and was advised the part was defective. My question is how do you continue to do labor on a car but the part is defective?? Why was I not told the part was defective when I came back for the alignment?? Makes no sense! I wanted and demanded a refund.Went back to the shop. When asked to speak with Max, Cathy said he (Max) had just left to get some tires and couldnt give a specific time he would be back. Cathy also couldnt give a direct number for Max but gave an email. Cathy was so condescending the entire conversation. Had a quick comeback and stood on their word of not being able to tell if a part is defective. I knew in my mind, Max was in the back, hiding.I emailed Max and am awaiting a return email. I will be taking further actions regarding this matter.
I’ve used this place once before and was decently satisfied but today I have decided I cannot use this establishment again. I don’t trust any “company” where the person who answers the phone doesn’t speak English and tells me it’s his cell phone when I know I called the company line. After some rude ass lady had my boyfriend on hold for literally 15 minutes and never came back to the line. You will never get any more of our money again way to lose a repeat customer. I hope you guys learn some customer service!
BEWARE!!! THE POSITIVE REVIEWS THAT ARE BEING POSTED ALL OF A SUDDEN ARE EITHER FAKE OR PAID FOR. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. AFTER ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS POSTED BY CUSTOMERS, THIS BUSINESS REALIZED ITS AFFECTING AND HURTING THEM SO THEY STARTED HAVING UNTRUE GOOD REVIEWS POSTED TO COVER UP AND HIDE WHAT WAS SAID ABOUT THEM. DO NOT FALL FOR THESE LOW LIFE SCAMMING FRAUDS.READ THE OLDER POSTINGS FOR THE REAL TRUTH AND ALSO READ MY EXPERIENCE BELOW:I came here because other places charged around $90 for an alignment and they did it only for $40. After I got my alignment done, my car turned by itself mostly to the left. I went back to either get it fixed or get refunded. The owner blamed it on the tire rods being tight and not being able to loosen it. He said that he only aligned the driver side and not the other 3 sides that I paid for! When asked why did he charge me when he did not even do the service, he made up some prices when the price is already in big letters outside. Both my mechanic and Just Brakes store didnt see anything wrong with my tire rods. He wasnt interested in resolving and walked off knowing he was guilty, so I then told him I would write bad reviews. He flicked me off, angrily came back, grabbed a car tool and got in my face threatening to do something to me if he saw a bad review. He took a picture of me on his cell phone. I called police and filed a report. When police came, he was hiding in the back and had his family (who all are at the business) tell the police he was picking up his kids from school. The police asked why every time they respond to a call, he is missing. Which shows me that he scammed a lot of people before. I ended up having to pay to replace the wheel bearing and hubcap on the same side he aligned. It is not worth it coming here looking to save. I went from thinking Id pay $40 to paying over $250 from damages this crook caused and on top of that a LIFE THREAT! If you read others reviews, you will see other people have experienced the same and have been cheated and violently confronted.
Horrible service at its finest. Shop manager is a complete douche bag and no communication regarding the finish labor on the car as well as lack of communication on what services to get done to the car. Dont do business with these ppl. I dont know about you but I cant do business with ppl who are disrespectful and rude. The receptionist forgot to tell them everything I needed dont to the car and they moved my car to another location without telling me. They had my car for 4 days and was closed for 2 of those days. they didnt answer or call me to let me know whats going on with the car which led me to get a rental for the duration of the time. When I finally spoke to the shop manager, he hung up in my face before I could talk and when I came up there to get face to face he then walked off on me and said he doesnt have time for this. PLEASE stay away from this type of ignorance.
Ok we all know how used tires places work but this one was a crazy experience....now the guy that seem to be the owner went above and over to help me with my truck even went to his other location to find me the correct tires. He had more than he knew. So I was able to find good tires at a great price everything was goin good until.....so we work out the price on everything it was great...now the helpers take the tires off the truck being them inside the young guy is rushing taking the old tires off the rims and he is slamming the metal wedge against the wheels putting dents in my aluminum wheels I asked him to stop but he doesnt understand...so the next guy is doin the balance of the tires and puts old tire weights on the wheel I asked did he have new ones he said no I told the owner he fixed the problem with the weights but its nothing he can do with the dents in the wheels because he didnt see it happen. So if you have custom wheels WATCH THEM THE WHOLE TIME the helpers dont care about the wheels at all!!!!
I paid for studs to be put on, and not until my going to Costco to shop, and decided to ask for a balance and rotation, while I was there, did I find out that the work, that I paid for was never done. So I was returning to have it done but they closed down that location and sent me to the other location up the street. Now they claim they can’t find the paperwork for the work, but can find my other 3 visits. And can find paperwork for bolts not studs. I found out that they fired someone or persons because of some shady things with the same situation , of money and no work, being done to other customers. However, they’re not honoring any of the promised service, and basically telling us, yes our guy pocketed the money and didn’t write all your services up, but because we don’t have a copy of the receipt , we can’t honor the work.😳🧐. So, they admit someone stole, admit he didn’t do the work, admit he didn’t make a paper trail, admit it took them time to figure it out. But ITS OUR PROBLEM. HORRIBLE SERVICE, JUST COMPLETELY DISGRACEFUL SERVICE.
Went to go get brakes and rotors when I left there was a awful metal clanking sound I brought it back immediately and they fix the metal clanking but my brakes were still messed up there was a awful grinding nose and was stopping rough and a lot of brake dust not on one sode the mechanic said it was my brake caliper so I brought it to firestone around the corner to get it fixed firestone and NTB said my calipers were fine brought it back to safe tires and the mechanic got upset and acted like he was inspecting it again but said everything was fine this time they basically robbed me with no gun and caused more damage that’ll cost me more money

2021-06-22Ive been going to this place for years. Ive referred many of my friends as well. With the request from the owner, I posted a review to let everyone know of my good personal experiences Ive had with them. I never had any complaints before with the basic tire changes I was previously receiving. Eventually, I purchased a new jeep and wanted to upgrade the tires and wheels. I also had a list of improvements I needed/wanted to have done, especially with the suspension. My first visit with my jeep, I had them put on my new wheels/tires, breaks, alignment and oil change. While having these things done to my vehicle, they informed me that I needed a new stabilizer. Oddly, it was a part they couldnt order (weird). They requested that I order the part, then bring it to them for installation. I was given partial information on the part so once the part came in, it was facing the incorrect way. No big deal things happen. To my surprise... they were now somehow able to order the part but it was not going to be in for a few days. At this point, my new tires/wheels were on the jeep, plus the oil change and breaks were done. The alignment could not be done until the new stabilizer was on, still no biggie. They gave me my total, minus the alignment and stabilizer. I was informed that I would have to pay for those things after the work was completed. Well.... if you use a credit card, theres a % they charge for each transaction based on the $ amount. With the amount of money I was spending, that was a nice little hefty fee. I really did not want to pay the fee twice with being only days apart when the other work would be completed. I was then told that I could pay for everything when I came back in the next few days to have the remaining work done. However, I would have to leave 2 of my wheels as collateral.Honestly, I was a little disappointed with that, due to the fact I had been coming there for years. Not to mention that I wanted to pay for everything at that moment. Nevertheless, I agreed and I left 2 of my jeep tires/wheels. Upon returning a few days later to have the stabilizer and alignment done, they could not locate my wheels. I was told they had a new shipment of tires that came in and believed my wheels were tucked away behind the new inventory. Nancy advised me that once they were able to get to the tires, she would give me a call. The call never came.I was in contact with them for months up to 1 year trying to get my wheels and tires. Constantly being told theyre looking for them and not to worry. I wasnt too upset because I had my new wheels on my jeep and I really thought at some point they would find them. I really wanted to keep my stock wheels in the event I would trade in my jeep, I could put the stock wheels back on. Eventually, I was 100% sure they either lost, sold or threw away my wheels.Again... Ive been going there for years and I like the people, especially Nancy. Shes really a sweet heart. Plus she hyped me up with telling me all the work I could have done at their shop to improve the performance and look of my jeep. Now, its time to have my tires balanced/rotated and an oil change. I was given the price of $200. I asked Nancy if she could ask the owner if there was any deal he could work out with me for the hassle and inconvenience of losing my tires. Plus leading me on for so long with no apology. I was then given the price of $140, only if I bring my own oil and oil filter. Well... the oil will cost me approximately $40 and the filter comes in around $12. So... the deal he was going to give me was $8 off.I was HIGHLY insulted and disappointed. Ive been a long standing customer, with many referrals to them. This was their opportunity to make things right. Now that Im ready to have the extras done to the suspension and exhaust system, I will not be going back to them. I put my trust, understanding, loyalty and patience into them with nothing in return. Not even an apology. This is very unfortunate.

2020-06-23After being sent away from another place (who knows why) I came to Safe Tires because I saw it from the road. NANCY came out and helped me before I even got out of my car, she let me know about a special today and also recommended that I get 2 tires replaced and showed me why. The guys got straight on my car and paused to give a recommendation for another thing I may need in the future. I really feel like they helped me out and for the best price! Very nice experience here!

2020-04-02Customer service is really good and professional. But came here on my birthday and got two tires and an alignment. Went and got an oil change at the dealership the next day. They physically brought me out to my vehicle to show me the dates inside the tires. They were over 6 years old and showed me how they were cracking and dry rotted visibly on the outside and inside. The techs at the sandy springs Toyota dealership were blown away and took pictures. They said they hadn’t seen a tire like that on a car that wasn’t in a junkyard. By the way my car is fairly new. Anywho I was tapped out as far as money goes. I went back to get them replaced but was charged again. Sigh.

2017-03-13I really enjoyed my first experience with Safe Tires. I went in for 2 new tires and an alignment. I was unable to get the alignment right then due to me needing new tie rods. They showed me exactly what I needed to get done and let me know that they could do it for me for a small fee. I left to get the parts I needed and returned. They were more busy when I returned, but they still got me out of there within an hour. The customer service was wonderful! I was taken care of in a timely manner and the prices were very affordable! My car drives much better...Thank you Safe Tires!

2021-04-19If you are looking for cheap used tires then go..If you want your tires balanced the right way then stay away..I paid for an wheel alignment and balance only to find out that my tires were off...one almost 8.00. When I returned to have them checked I was told that I would have to pay again. I went to Tires Plus and had the issue corrected.
