I have extreme anxiety regarding dental visits dating back to horrible experiences from childhood. Sage Dental made what could have been an anxiety filled experience comfortable. Everyone I had contact with was very customer service oriented from front desk staff to back office staff. Everyone was very kind, willing to listen to my concerns, very patient and very efficient. I feel they sincerely care about their patients and I would recommend and refer anyone to Sage Dental. Im 70 years old and have had many visits to dental offices (some better than others) but Sage Dental is by far the best!!!!
Very inefficiently run! I had an appointment at 8:00am and I wasnt seen until 9:00am. I didnt end up leaving until 10:00am and all they did were X-rays and a dental exam without a cleaning. They told me I had to schedule a cleaning because they didnt have any time to do one... After the X-rays and dental exam were done 9:30am, I was just sitting in the chair for half an hour and had to catch the dentist in the hall to ask what the plan was. He checked on it for me right away which I appreciated, but I was told by the receptionist I had to schedule a separate appointment for the cleaning so I ended up leaving around 10:00am. Kim who took my X-rays was great, but Sage Dental in Tucker was not a great experience overall! I unfortunately dont think I will be coming back. If you do make an appointment, make sure you have a lot of time to spare.
This s place is a life saver. Great customer service. Dr. Yusefff did a great job on my root canal. Dr Smith did great with h my crown and Marsha is an excellent hygienist. They took care of me and really made me feel comfortable. Theyre now stuck with me because Im not going anywhere else. Thank you guys so muchPenyetta clark
If I could give them 0 stars I would!!! Made an emergency appointment due to having the worst tooth ache ever to only get a call when I was 1mile away to say the cant accommodate me after driving a1hr from Fayetteville Im extremely disappointed and would never use them or recommend them there staff lied for each other just horrible and disppointing.
I was scared and shaking in my boots! But baby, Toya, first of all, my favorite person, I just wanted to take her with me. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease from the time she took me to my room. I told the doctor she needs to be in every room with every patient. She is amazing and hilarious. Doctor Barrow, the oral surgeon did an amazing job. She made sure I was numb and didn’t feel a thing. She pulled my teeth out in literally a few minutes. She was gentle and caring. The front office staff are very sweet as well. I made sure to let them know how afraid I was and they assured me that everything was going to be okay and it was. Thank you so much to the entire staff that worked with me at Sage Dental of Tucker. You all are the best!
Im holding off on giving a 5 star review until I see the periodontist on my next appointment. So far, courteous and efficient. The forms need fixed. They were out of alignment. Not a big deal. After appointment - they triple booked my slot. My schedule doesnt allow for me to wait while she does 2 surgeries. I had to reschedule. This is a real hardship to arrange.im not happy.
Dr. Rodgers and her team is so wonderful and the best ever. It’s always a pleasure to come to my appointments with and for my daughter. My daughter progress on her braces is coming along so amazing and wonderful. The Orthodontist team for Safe in the Georgia region deserves a 10 plus. I love Dr. Rodgers and her team❤️❤️❤️
They forgot that they checked me in on an already rescheduled appointment that was supposed to be at 8am, then had me waiting for 45 minutes, just to not be able to see me due to the provider already seeing someone, which implies it was already double booked when they rescheduled the appointment in the first place.
STAY AWAY!!!They did a partial refund and kept $284 of my dollars and my partials! A total rip-off on every level knowing they had over charged me for work they knew was not needed! I am allowing my attorney to handle this! They will not keep my money! They also falsely filled a claim to my insurance company for the consultation that was to be $60 they tried to get another $200 Luckily that was denied! I am also contacting the state dental board immediately! Please dont go to this place!
I was blessed with a awesome experience by Dr. Barrow and her Dental Assistant Toya. They took the time to demonstrate and explain the procedure. I was very comfortable and had a pain-free experience. I’m glad I found Sage Dental of Tucker and would certainly recommend them. The facility was state of the art. Pleasant staff. Thanks.
I’m not sure if this will help anyone but I think it will. This was my second appointment at Sage Dental. My appointment was for 11:30am. I was there at 11:15. I checked in via their app online. ...waited in the car until someone called and said to come on in! I get checked in and sat. Mind you I have a new job and I have to use my time wisely. After sitting and watching others be called in and within minutes escorted to the back and serviced I still sit. Finally I ask the receptionist how much longer will I have to wait!? She goes to the back, returns and say 20 more minutes. So I’m thinking I need this appointment because I have already gotten a sitter for a couple of hours and I took off work for a couple of hours and I don’t have time to do this again. Well after sitting for that additional 20 minutes and still no service I decided to let them know that I was leaving. My time is just as important as theirs and I need that to be respected. Every one there was nice to me but it’s not just about being nice sometimes it’s about being respectful of your customers time as well. All that to say when you do make an appointment at Sage Dental, make sure you have a lot of time available to wait past your original appointment. Take a book, bills to pay, something. I hope you don’t need it, but you just might.Good Luck!
After calling around a could of places I finally settled on SAGE DENTAL in Tucker, Ga. This my first visit and first time at a dentist in years. The receptionist was polite and helped me in areas I wasn’t familiar with. I’m already funny when it comes to my teeth. After waiting a couple of minutes I was finally ready to be seen. It lasted all about 30-45. I was properly informed about my dental health and I ask a lot of questions but they were patient. I was able to choose what I wanted to watch and there even jokes exchanged between us. I eventually was able to unwind. I was given my x-rays with no hassle. All in all I really enjoyed the customer service.
Sage Dental of Tucker has great staff at the front and in their service provider team of dental hygienists. My single complaint is they often run behind in terms of time. My appointment, 3rd time now, doesnt start until almost 45 minutes after the appointment time. If they can tighten this up it would be great. Again the building is close, clean, the staff are caring and talented but just call me to come when youre ready for me..
Greetings,I just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau yet Google Reviews are next. I had a negative experience with the office in Tucker. I will not be swindled into paying excessive fees for a cleaning. Also, when I send full sets of X-rays I should not be made to retake them. I was almost refused the service of fillings because I was told that I had to get a cleaning first. Never have I ever been subject to that treatment in an office. They also created a clerical error in 2020 where they filed claims under my son’s name instead of my name and revealed to me that my son had a bill of $428 yet I did the research with a MetLife representative he revealed their error.Secondly, my son, Micah has an appointment on Tuesday, he switched from a different dentist who has already completed a deep cleaning.
The young lady with the micky mouse mask was very helpful with questions that I had regarding what I wanted and had suggestions. Meeting Dr. Harrison was a great experience. From the time she introduced herself to me until her explaining aftercare to me. My experience at Sage Dental was good.P.S. The office manager was nice with setting up my payment plan. Thanks Sage Dental!Nanette
I’ve been a member with Sage Dental a few years. I didn’t start out at the one in Tucker. It became the closest one in proximity. It seems like they’re more focused on charging their patients than actually caring for them. I am insured and I even used there coverage for a service at one point. I went in today for a 6 month cleaning. This place added additional fees to my services without my consent and had I not asked what all was being serviced I would’ve never known. Then she decided to explain that certain things were optional... like the $100 toothbrush they were attempting to add on which was a third of the price that they were charging me. All this for a cleaning WTH 🤦🏽♂️ Not only that she tells me that it would’ve been less to go with their coverage than my companies but the initial price that she’d shown me for the coverage with Sage wasn’t even the same from what she’d shown me 10 minutes prior. SMH Truthfully i won’t say it’s ALL BAD but there’s definitely some bad representation in this office facility. I won’t be back nor will I go to any other Sage dental because of the experiences that I’ve had here.
Sage Dental of Tucker has a awesome staff. The pleasant experience starts at the front desk with the office manager Angela and Acacia. The dental tech Estrella is one of the best I’ve seen. I had a root canal and a crown procedure and will be going back for more work.I forget the dentist name but I really appreciate how personable he were. If you’re looking for great service and a friendly staff then you should check out Sage Dental in Tucker Ga.
The staff at Sage Dental were so kind and sweet, I felt right at home the moment I walked into the door. The young ladies at the front desk were so kind and patient. The facility was so clean. The nurse wiped down all equipment before during and after use with me, we talked as if we were friends forever. the doctor was so kind, patient and gentle. I would definitely recommend Sage Dental to all friends and family. Thank You Sage Dental of Tucker!
Sage Dental charges for X-rays and additional services that are optional and never placed on an invoice unless after being discussed between the patient and the provider. Including the customer service I received today from the skinny black girl with the plaits, I would never go back to this dentistry. I thought that because I have a great dental insurance plan I would receive better service here. I was wrong. I will continue to use Aspen Dental as my go to dentistry.
Awful experience ! waited over 20 minutes in the car after checking in (COVID protocol) and decided to go in and let them know I was here. The front desk didnt seem to care too much, brushed me to the side and I had to go up to ask if I had been checked in. Once I was checked in, took another 30 minutes to collect my medical history, then at about 1 hour in, I started to grab my belongings (I was so over it at that point) and the doctor.. who was in surgery ! walked out and apologized. Told her I would be finding a more professional clinic because this Sage Dental location is terrible. They need serious help with scheduling, customer service, and attitudes. I will be calling corporate. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY !!!!!!!!
This was my 1st visit to Sage Dental and it was great from the beginning. From the check in to the consult to the cleaning and meeting Dr. Coronado. The staff is great - office was very clean and I felt very comfortable with the safety precautions in place during Covid-19. I am happy to have found my new dentist!
My reason for the review is because of miscommunication. I’ve been receiving email and text alerts about my appointment time for 2 weeks. 30 minutes before my regular cleaning appointment, they moved my appointment time back last minute by 30 minutes. I wasn’t alerted beforehand, so I came during my appointment time that was scheduled 6 months ago, and they told me I was incorrect and my wait time was in 30 minutes. My wait time was longer, which wasn’t a huge deal because I didn’t have anything major to do that day, but I never knew that my appointment time was updated. After my cleaning, I was checked out by the front desk and wasn’t told that I had a charge on my account from my regular cleaning appointment 6 months ago until after I drove away from the facility. They called me saying I had to pay it, but I wish I was told in person when I was there for an an hour and 40 minutes. I always have issues with the front desk when it comes to dealing with my insurance and/or payments. This is the second time that I left the facility after my dentist appointments and then was called afterwards about payments when that should’ve been brought up while I was there. I’m okay if they’re waiting for my insurance to process to get the correct charge, but I’d like to know the charges either ahead of time or when I’m there at the facility. The actual dentist and hygienists were great; I never have an issue with them. They’re so nice and professional. It’s just strictly a miscommunication issue I’ve been having with the front desk.
I liked this dental office. Very clean and professional. I didnt like the fact that they just assume you want their expensive electric toothbrush and attempt to charge you for it without disclosing upfront. Make sure you ask about charges for each procedure they are doing. They did show me the itemized bill but the charges seemed high for certain things. I had xrays and deep cleaning and still cost me over $400 and that was my portion to pay! My insurance company will get a bill for about $500 and something.
I normally go to the Sage Dental in Marietta. Always had friendly staff and never had any issues. I decided to try this location because it was closer to home. I made an appointment and arrived 15 minutes early. I figured there would be a bit of a wait because of Covid and such. I checked in when I arrived through the text they sent me, and a rep called to let me know that I would have to wait in my car and that they would call me when they are ready.I spent a full hour and 15 minutes waiting for them to call me. Finally I decided to call the office to see what the hold up was.The hold up was they forgot about me! They claimed they “tried to call me a few times” but my phone never rang! I had full service the whole time and was actually reading on my phone. Literally in front of the office. I double checked my missed calls and had none.I understand of mistakes are made. It happens. But the rep on the phone did not even apologize or seem to care one bit. They only tried to blame it on the phone calls “not going through” and hurried to try and reschedule me because they gave my appointment window to someone else.I do still have an appointment scheduled with them but I highly doubt I’ll even go. I’m going to be looking for a new office since I have the free time now....
Sage Dental is by far the best dental office I have ever been to. Dr. Post is a skilled, friendly dentist. She explains what she will do and gives you updates as she works so youre not left wondering what will happen next or when it will happen. The staff at Sage Dental is friendly, non-judgemental, professional, and personable. Would recommend the Tucker office to anyone!
FIRST TIME patient.1. Did not receive any options2. Did not do a request the dentist told me he would temporarily3.i got the impression all about the money4.i did not like the fact i felt pressured to have certain services i did not come in for5.i not care i was in pain and allowed me to leave out without helping.5. very disappointed
They are not worthy of 1 star! OMG! This is the worst customer service ever! I made an appointment 3 weeks prior to the date. I gave them my insurance information as I was making the appointment. I received several email regarding my appointment I had to give copies of my insurance card, Id and referral, the day before the appointment i get a follow up call confirming my appointment. The day of the appointment we get there 15 min ahead of the appointment and was told they did not accept my insurance. My question was why wasnt that told prior to the time of appointment time. No one could answer that question, so we have called corporates office to file a complain about such poor customer service. I work in a doctor office and would NEVER referral this company to any of my patients. SAGE needs to work what insurance they cover and prior authorization before scheduling appointments.
The worst Dental Experience Ive ever received. Decided to use my new Dental Coverage Insurance of which Sage Dental of Tucker was in network. Called in advance to request a bi-annual oral exam and cleaning. Been getting these for the past 20 plus years. My new and supplemental dental policy has a zero deductible and copay but I was ask to pay $30.00 up front. My last visit to my regular dentist was in June 2020 with no issues. Yet Sage Dental would not perform a routine cleaning. After nearly 3 hours of xrays and exams, I was presented with a Treatment plan for $4000.00. Most of which were some type of topical resin treatments. $2500.00 of which was over my yearly limit and which I would be personally responsible for. Still not sure why I was not presented with a plan outside my Dental Plan yearly limits. My regular dentist, whom I saw in June 2020, and who is a graduate of one of the top Dental Colleges in the U.S. did not recommend any topical treatments. I have no cavities. Sage Dental still refuses to give me a regular cleaning. And as of yet, still refuses to send me a copy of my Dental Xrays and I have email a release form to Sage. If it was possible to give Sage Dental of Tucker, negative stars I would assigned them.
Unfortunately it was not the best FIRST time visit. Let me say, my hygienist & the office manager was very thorough, efficient, friendly & understanding! So if U actually utilize their services, U will be happy minus the underlined fees.I had to wait outside for almost 40 minutes before I called the no# to find out why havent I been called inside for my appmt. I chose NOT to get services done! I came in with a coupon card for a free exam+X-ray & whitening kit. I also purchased the VIP Plan of $129+$10 co-pay. This would allow me to receive up to 40% off my services. Before I could get a cleaning the office manager came to discuss my total cost. I was quoted an additional $256...and that was removing 2 other services that was added to my treatment. I was NOT going to pay almost $400 for a teeth cleaning(with or w/out other issues with my mouth)If I chose to pay out of pocket with no additional plans or coupons my cost would have been $357. The math & the cost simply did not add up!I chose to leave and decided to contact Southside Medical Center dental offices. Their equipment isnt state of the art & all digital (F.Y.I. Sage Dental computers, phone system & information technology was down & not operating properly today as well).SMC offer good customer service, friendly & proficient dental hygienists & dentists and the cost of exam, X-ray & cleaning is income based. No extra fees, no percentage off...just one flat rate.I chose Sage Dental because I wanted the techy, digital & up-to-date equipment, along with other SUPPOSEDLY free services with my treatment. U get what U pay for and I chose not to pay those costs.
I am SO disappointed in this experience. I made an appointment 2 months out. I get to my appointment and after waiting 45 minutes, I’m finally taken back just for them to tell me they can’t do a routine dental clean? I have never been to a dentist office that requires an initial “consultation” just for you to leave and come BACK for the actual appointment. Not to mention, they’re making everyone pay $10 so the staff can buy PPE?? Seems very unprofessional and strange. Anyway, the office manager apologized for the wait and misunderstanding but didn’t seem to care that much. I was so furious, I left crying. There is absolutely no communication with their call center, which are staff that don’t even sit in the office (these people assured me that i would get a cleaning if my teeth were in good shape, which was a flat out lie)I will never recommend or return to Sage Dental ever again.
I want to be clear that nearly everyone I interacted with was kind and professional. My negative experience is mostly related to their business practices and general lack of organization.I got there 30 minutes early since I was a new patient coming for my first dental cleaning since COVID hit. I was able to wait in m car until my appointment time. Unfortunately, I still had to wait about 20+ minutes for them to resolve a question with my insurance, even though I had provided all the information the day prior. They initially wanted me to agree to pay $190 for x-rays, exam and cleaning. Eventually they reconfirmed that I only need to pay the co-pay. Sigh.Once out of the waiting room, the exam space was tightly packed with other patients lining a narrow hallway. No doors or curtains. Not exactly effective at slowing all the aerosols generated from all the dental equipment. I waited in my chair for another 10 minutes while the x-ray technician did something on the computer.Once the x-rays were finished I saw the actual dentist for all of 2 minutes. As he left, he said he would have to ask the hygienist when they could schedule my cleaning, maybe today. To be clear, I had made an appointment for a cleaning for 2pm that day and suddenly that was in question despite having no complications with my teeth. Now well after 3pm, the hygienist asks if I can stay until 4pm. Id had enough time breathing other peoples aerosols, so I said Id wait in the parking lot until 4pm. I came back in at 3:55, and again had to wait until 4:20 before I got back in a chair. After ALL of this, the hygienist rushed through the actual cleaning. You know, the thing I actually came for. She was constantly distracted by other staff taking about who was messing with the radio, and even looking away at least three times WHILE SHE WAS USING THE PLAQUE HOOKS ON MY GUMS. She moved so fast with the brush that she caught the inside of my cheek with it, scraping it and drawing blood. She finished up, then said she had to go check if my insurance would cover fluoride. More idle time in the chair breathing other peoples mouth spray. She comes back and no, its not covered by would I like to spend $90 and another half hour in the chair?I declined and went to check out, now close to 2.5 hours after my appointment.Gonna be looking elsewhere in 6 months.
This location was recommended two years ago by a fellow employee of mine. I at 1st thought the location was consistent with their staff and had quality service. Then after about 6m, 8 noticed that even after paying via my insurance, I was always billed later and told I had a balance due. Then it kept happening over and over and it kept getting costly yet having the same work done. Then they claimed they are not sure how much my insurance covers which doesnt add up because you can call the insurance company to request for plan info and check. I have never been to a dentist who tried to claim they have no idea, take money from your insurance company and then say you still owe taken your insurance covers 80% to 100% on all things due to the plan I have. Then it got worse, they cant keep a quality staff, customer has gone out the door and they switch doctors like its no Tomorrow so whoever worked on your teeth prior too is gone and you are left with new ppl.I have had the same fillings issue due to having two 2 different dentist who didnt know really what they hell they were doing regarding putting a filling in properly for a front tooth. Also, they had the audacity to try and charge me for the mistake the 1st dentist made that does not work there anymore and the 2nd dentist, didnt do any better and now you can see the filling as if I have something glued to my front tooth instead of a smooth filling. I TOLD them then I was not repaying for something I already paid for. And was still low key charged for it along with them saying I still owed money taken i have great insurance, for some reasonnalways still end up coming out of pocket close to 200.00 each time for a cleaning is definitely a scam to me now that I look back on everything in context. So now my front filling looks worse than it did before because they dont have quality dentist nor consistent dentist working in that office branch. The only person that was of quality was a lady Named Anglea and last time I was there last year she was suppose to be going to Florida to another office. I keep getting bill for 128.00 rewarding work that Ive already paid for out of pocket and my insurance paid them. I am going to review all my paperwork again and cross reference everything with my insurance co because I was advised I was being overcharged low key and some places will do that and claim the insurance doesnt cover it.My company recently got a new dental insurance and it shows Sage Dental is out of network which must be God herself providing protection from anymore get 0ver. I now have to find a new dentist have my records sent over so I can start fresh with dentist who actually know how to do fillings on front teeth. Ive also giggled filling procedures on front teeth and what dentist are truly able to do is NOT what my teeth look like which is a huge problem because that means these dentist that work for them dont really know the craft of being a dentist. At 1st you could not see the filling and 6m later it looks like two different pair of teeth have been glued together mind you this would be the 2nd time I had to get it done , two different dentist due to the 1dt one messing it up, the filling was not done right and chipped off smh. I have not gone back because I do not trust them in my mouth and last time they said I would not be charged for the mess up taken what happened with staff etc and the time frame.i had just got it done yet the sent me a bill for 128, and I paid out of pocket that day 200 and some change and they also got money from my insurance company.I see similar stories about being over charged etc. Please dont waste your time asking me to privately email.you because that is a generic message being left under everyones comments which lets me know its not a real person response with concern. Yall are going to end up getting sued .. keep the unethical and lack of integrity practices up. You wont past long
I highly recommend you go elsewhere...1. Office manager is not helpful. I was overcharged and wouldnt help.2. Office manager working without a mask i had to ask her to mask up or back up.3. I was charged for PPE fees that were never billed to the insurance company.4. Plan of treatment doubled when it came time to pay. I received my eob from insurance I overpaid by almost 200.00. Even their corporate office lacked follow up on my complaint.5. They offer free whitening kit to new customers ask for it when you get there.I never received and I have to wait 3 week for a refund.6. The dentist doesnt check the dental hygienist work at the end.Not worth the price!Hope this helps someoneD. Koch
If I could rate 0 stars I would. I’ve been going to this dentist office for more than 2 years and I’ve watched different teams of people come and go. I’ve paid about $10,000 out of pocket excluding insurance payments to this office. The way my husband and I were treated today 1/6/2021 I’d never step foot back in this office again! The office manager Angela was not at work today whose a really nice woman by the way I must state; according to her rude unprofessional staff that she recently must’ve hired. Ms. Angela if you come across this review prepare yourself because you’re going to lose more loyal and dedicated patients behind your employees. When you lose patients you lose business and employment follows next! Now I must unfortunately find another dentist office to complete the work which was started by this office.
This place is the worst dentist office I have ever seen in my life. The lady at the front office was extremely rude. The dentist literally came in didn’t ask for what was wrong or why I was there. He left the room without explaining my treatment plan. I would have rated this below one star. I am telling you avoid this place at all cost. You will regret you didn’t take my advice if you proceeded with this dental office.
I chose Sage Dental because I was told my insurance was accepted. When I arrived everything was different. I was told I had to pay $247 for a consultation. I called my insurance and was told the office visit and toot canal are covered. The office employee said it is not covered, and I could submit the bill to insurance company. I paid the amount and the Dr. Checked the tooth that needed the root canal. The assistant advised me that the toot canal is not covered by my insurance and I must pay $1,288. I knew at that point I was in the wrong place. I am calling my insurance to request the $247 refunded. I must now find a dentist to perform the root canal
The staff was friendly but I was asked to pay for services before work was completed. I was visited while in dentist chair by Finance. Very rude! She even asked me to leave to get payment. Ill wait, she said with an attitude. I was also overcharged by $53. Billing issue is unresolved. I came here for an endodontist referral - I will definitely not come here again.
I came here to get a tooth pulled. I was quoted $437 by my primary dentist who referred me to come here and my husband got his tooth pulled for $500 from here. After sitting in the chair in excruciating pain for an hour They had me sign forms and quoted me$1,600.I assumed that the insurance would pick and I would pay the $437 but they billed me for the $1620. I dont know what for. Dont come here. They will bait-and-switch you based on your pain in your fears. After sitting there An excruciating pain I went ahead and sold find the documents. Just to sit there for another two hours in excruciating pain before I even got the tooth pulled And I will never come back here again. Very dissapointed. This happened about a week ago and I still feel horrible about my experience. When I asked for an explanation of the bill and why itcost so much, I got the sassy well u signed it
6/24/2020So I get a coupon in the mail for a free exam and X-rays,they have the same offer on their web site.Upon arrival at their office the desk clerk tells me that there is a fee payable up front.I then inform her that no where on the coupon or their web site do it state this. She then asked If I would like to speak with the office manager with regard to wavering this fee,I said sure. After waiting about 15 minutes the office manager called me to the desk and after letting her speak first ,her narcissistic attitude was so obvious.I then stated to her that if she was going to continue with her bad attitude I was going to leave. She said fine and so I did. After reading their reviews here and on the better business bureau web site later on,I am glad that I did walk out.
Jury is still out on Sage Dental, got there and saw how much I had to pay out of pocket after insurance was deducted. It was way more than I expected, and in the mist of looking at that cost, the office rep offered the Sage Dental disc plan. Of course with this Sage Dental disc plan I would save much more money than what my insurance would pay, and that was my thought after seeing the amount I had to pay just from a consultation. So being in a frenzy about having to pay some outrageous amount for my next appointment which is mainly what has started my service there in the first I place accepted this Sage disc insurance. Bad move, after getting a print out of what the procedure cost would be with this Sage Dental disc plan,.... I thought wow this also was more than I anticipated. I immediately called my insurance and was told that they pay 50%, basically the same as what the Sage Dental insurance charges. Smh, Im usually not impulsive and this is exactly why. One other thing I spoke with the oral surgeon and explained that I wanted the procedure done on a Friday so I could recouperate over the weekend, she acted as if she could accommodate this request. I get up front to schedule a Friday appointment none was available period. Red flag, jury is still out.
My past two experiences has been great with sage Dental. I have had one bad experience with them however they made up for it and since then I havent had any real problems with them. The doctor told me that an orthodontist will be on board soon and that I am extremely excited about. The location is perfect as I live right down the street and the dental hygenist and techs are awesome!!! Keep up the good work Sage Dental!!!
This is one of the Dental Offices on my Kaiser Medicare Plan. I paid almost $1000 to get dentures for top and bottom, a $600+ consultation fee, with owing a balance of about $900 left and havent had not ONE tooth pulled. The payment plan that I was quoted on December 28, 2020 was not the payment plan information I was given on January 4, 2021 when I was returning to get my bottom teeth pulled. So I am out of about $1600 with nothing being done to my mouth, working part-time, in a Pandemic where everyone is struggling except those profiting off other people. I am 66 years old and NOT made of money. Nobody in their right mind can afford to lose $1600. The least they could do is give me the teeth I have paid for! If you have Medicare and Kaiser and need serious work done, dont choose Sage...I dont know about others.
Its hard finding a quality dentist office that really takes care of their clients. A coworker of mine informed me of Sage Dental last year. Took Leap of faith and it was the best. They know you by name and very helpful. Whenever there is an issue they stay on top of it. Great experience thus far and would highly recommend them.
Everyone is always polite and professional. I never feel like I’m being pressured to do anything extra or being pitched a sale. The facility is small but very clean. I love the diversity and inclusion of the staff. You can feel the positive energy from everyone. They are like family and it shows with how they treat their patients. I would recommend this location to friends and family.
Very happy with my experience at Sega DentalIn Tucker. Great place for your dental need. All of the staff member were very friendly.I will definitely come back and recommend you to all who are looking for a dentistMy dental hygienist, Ms. Marylin ,was very professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel very comfortable.
I love how comfortable my experience was here! I switched to here after having a horrendous experience at another dentist and I couldn’t be happier! I had a newborn at home that I was worried about being away from and they really prioritized my visit to get me in and out as quickly as possible. They made my worries their worries. When I returned for my next visit they all checked in to see how my little girl was. Such a personal and loving feeling! They had gentle hands while working and checked several times to be sure I was ok. I love how they make me feel important.Highly recommend!!!
I and my family are new patients to the sage dental in Tucker. It’s a nice and clean place and at the front desk your staff are very nice and helpful but I have hard time to get things done with Dr Singh. I come prepared for a procedure the another procedure is done or there was a confusion and doubt was occurred on several times on my visit it’s been over six weeks I’m still without dentures I’m have been visiting Tucker dental several times now but no work is done properly or on time please find some solution to this issue as I’m not satisfied with the services provided here!
Dr. Post staff is AMAZING!!!!!!! Every visit was pleasant and I was always greeted with a friendly smile. The staff takes the time to explain the service provided and make sure you are comfortable. I would recommend this dental office to anyone who appreciates great customer!!!!!!!
I didn’t get a good vibe when I entered.1) This was my first time at this location. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Post - the doctor I researched. I was seen by another doctor. She was ok, but she was not the doctor I scheduled my appointment with.2) The lady who did my x-rays was rude and very unprofessional. She was sick and I didn’t appreciate her coughing near me. She should have stayed home until she was over her cold or whatever she had. Everyone else was professional and introduced themselves.3) Personal conversations should not be discussed around patients. The lady who did my x-rays was discussing how she got sick this weekend, her co-worker was telling her how horrible she sound. X-ray lady talked about calling out on this Friday to handle personal business with her sisters. They talked about how many patients they have on Friday (22nd) afternoon, two patients.4) Marilyn was very professional and so was the other doctor. I think her name was Dr. Faulkner. Office manager Angela was professional as well.5) My blood pressure was high when the x-ray lady took it because I didn’t want her touching me because she was coughing, even during my x-rays she was coughing.6) I didn’t see them, sterilize anything. They gave me some glasses to put on, I reviewed and attempted to clean myself.7) X-ray lady was unorganized, it took her 10 minutes to find the tools needed to do my x-rays. She kept walking back and forth.
This was my first visit with Sage Dental of Tucker. I was a little late because I knew I needed to complete my new patient package but it was ok. Once complete I was getting my entire mouth x-rayed. Once done Dr. Foreman came in and roughly told me my teeth on the bottom not as bad as I thought. They explained everything they were doing and afterwards let Ms. Hardy the office manager explained everything to me. But I kept confusing her I thought but we went over it until we both got the picture. The staff had birthday cake for one co-worker and that was nice to see. Even though this was my first visit no pain at all. I told them if you have no insurance or money we cant come to the dentist even when we need it. I prayed something good happen so I could start working on my teeth. And I tell you with all the programs and discounts I think I can start fixing my smile. I recommend anyone needing help with their smile here is the place. One thing I might add is that it doesnt smell like a dental office. Thank you for my first visit. I will see you Thursday this week. Fast appointments. Keep up the great work. Thanks
I have been going to them for about 2 years and its OK. To me It represents what our health care system has, become a place for profit, but i cannot compelling blame them as it is the system now. They are Bougie in nature they always have the highest Tech stuff for their patients. The upseting and hard part about this is that they do not have the cheap alternative treatment options others do. For example, I had metal fillers prior to this dentist and I had to replace them here, but they would not allow me to replace them with metal fillings, which are usually cheaper, instead I had to get the composite white fillings which cost more. Also for some reason despite my insurance paying a big portion, this dentist always charges me extra. Sometimes even what they shouldnt either resulting in credit or insurance issues. Also recently it seems like there had been a change in office staff and dentists [and I could have just developed a relationship with the last before] but it seems harder to develop a relationship with the new people. On top of this they are charging that patients for their use of PPE. I work in a hospital myself and we dont charge patients for our use of ppe because we have medical professionals who know we must protect ourselves and our patients from problems so we sacrifice for the benefit of all n. However this place charges me for use of ppe for themselves and me here I have no option either way unfortunately, the company should eat the cost to protect their employees. with all this said I am going to go to another dentist starting next year because I am tired of the issues.
Outstanding friendly office staff, Angela, Tiffany, and Marilyn are professional and informative. They dont pressure you to get additional services, or judge you by your failing teeth. 1) The office is clean. 2) Affordable services. 3) Wheelchair accessible. 4) Plenty of parking. 5) Painless procedures.
I usually dont write reviews, but I just have to share my experiences with this particular sage dental office. First, I made an appointment back in March for a cleaning and when I got to my appointment I was told that I would have to pay for my x-ray because my insurance only covers it every two years and I received one last year. So I walked away without getting my teeth clean because I wasnt paying for an x-ray. So fast forward to July I called to schedule another appointment and they asked did i have insurance and I said yes and you all already have my info. Went (3:30 appointment and arrived early) in for my appointment and I had to wait 30 mins to get called back for the xrays. The doctor came in and explained what other dental work I needed and after that the office manager came in and asked could I come back the next day because the person who was supposed to do my cleaning was leaving. At this point Im super pissed because Ive literally been there like over an hour and I left work early to be there early and still wasnt able to get what I came for done. I let the office manager know just how I felt and she just kept apologizing and offered me a free expensive toothbrush and the only reason I rescheduled because she tried to make up for them wasting my time. Got my teeth clean the next day. The lady who cleaned my teeth was raving about how I didnt bring her much work and how I should keep doing what Im doing far as brushing my teeth. That was all good, but she didnt do a good job. I let that slide. My last visit was where I had to get fillings and the office manager had given me a paper with the amounts in which I would have to pay out of pocket. So I was 11 mins late due to traffic caused by a wreck and I called and informed them on why I would be late. They told me I got a 15 min grace period and I told them Ill be there before my 15 mins was up and I was. They made me pay for those 11 mins. I literally had to wait about 45mins before they even started working on my mouth. I nodded off at least 4 times and I wanted to walk out, but I stayed. After I finally got my fillings done. I went up front to pay and the office manager said I owed $109 and Im looking at her like shes crazy and I said thats not the price you told me last time and she said do you have what I gave you in your car I said I sure do and I went and got the paper where it had the amounts on what she said Ill be paying. Then she was trying to call corporate to see why the price had changed, but couldnt get in touch with anyone. So she charged me the price from what she gave me the first time and made sure I knew sometimes the price will change. Oh btw my original price was $56.20 and I have no idea how it jumped up to $109, but I wasnt paying that. So then after I paid I stood there for a few seconds to see if she was going to get me schedule for my next procedure and she said absolutely nothing and I said thank you and walked out. Im glad she didnt offer to set me up because this location will no longer get my business.
Sage Dental made me a partial denture that broke several times. The lab that made the partial is willing to fix it for free, but Sage Dental Tucker refuses to honor the warranty that the lab gave. Plus they made a crown that cost me $1700 . One of their employees put the crown in the wrong way so I am in constant pain. When I call their corporate office they just give me the run around. I would NEVER reccomend this place. Dentists nor the dental staff dont stay there very long. The turnover is very high.
Staff here are very nice, but I rarely get seen at my appointment time, even when I arrive early. Their COVID-19 practices require checking in online and waiting in your car until they call you to come in, and they usually require you to fill out an online COVID-19 exposure questionnaire before your appointment.
The staff was friendly. This was our first visit to Sage. The assistant was great with my son. After seeing the dentist, we were taken to the financial coordinator. She explained what I would be responsible for, the laughing gas. At first she said I would have to pay $47 for my portion of the filling. I let her know my insurance company said my fillings were covered. She called my insurance company and told me I wouldnt have to pay for the filling. In order to make an appointment you have to pay a deposit. I have excellent credit and my portion would be less than $100, why do I need a deposit? That was a first, but I paid $47.I called to see if they had any cancellations. I was happy that they were able to fit us in.They had me pay my portion prior to having the work done. I thought that was odd, but I complied. They charged me the whole $97, even though I had paid the deposit a few days prior. I decided to clear it up later because they were taling my son back to see the dentist . My son wasnt eligible for the needle free anesthesia. My son had a very difficult time, taking the anesthesia shot. The assistant calmed him down and the dentist did the procedure. After leaving the office I checked my bank account. I was charged both the deposit of $47 and the $97.I called about the extra payment. I was told my insurance company doesnt cover tooth colored fillings. She said the office only does tooth colored filling so I owed $47. If all this would have been explained to me beforehand, then it would not be a problem. But no one told me anything about tooth colored fillings and what their office offers. I wasnt given an option. I know we are only talking about $50. But I m not going to wait for it to happen again in the future with more money on the line. Im changing dentists.
First time at a dentist in a while, I was very nervous because I know my teeth have problems. They were very nice and patient. Didn’t hesitate to answer any of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. They’re also very affordable. I think I have found a permanent dentist!!
I have nothing but praise for Dr post and her incredible staff. They are doing a great job at making my mouth whole again. They were my 2nd opion dentist and the first dentist was cheaper over all but I felt so much more comfortable w/ All the staff & Dr Post that the few hundred I didnt save has been worth it I have no regrets. My treatment plan is only half through but if 2nd half goes as well as first and Im sure it will. I know I have found my 4ever dentist!
The experience I had went extremely smooth and professional from start to finish. Doctor and Staff were awesome !!! I would like to put a spotlight on one staff member in particular. Marland Harley (Hygienist) she is exceptional Trustworthy, Honest , Professional and Hardworking best Hygienist in town and one of the more humane customer service based professionals I have ever seen.
I must say the staff were so friendly, professional and extremely helpful! Its always nice to walk into a office and you are greeted with a smile and a warm hello. They were very thorough with explaining my dental treatment and left no questions unanswered. The office is modern, clean and has the latest dental equipment. I didnt see any outdated machines at all! I was great having xrays taken and not leaving the office with cuts in my mouth from the xray film by the assistant forcing placement for the perfect shot. I was extremely impressed! Quick and easy! I look forward to seeing them again. (Who says that about the dentist?)
If I could leave negative stars I would, the minute you step into their office you are basically treated as a cash cow!! They tried repeatedly to upsell the deep cleaning and other services that I know that I don’t need. I was very clear about only services that were covered by my insurance, like a normal routine cleaning, x-rays and checkup and they were like no you have to forcefully have a deep cleaning. I told the office manager that I only wanted the basic cleaning and she said the doctor could not perform a basic cleaning because she could lose her license if she did. This a blant out lie they use to sort of threaten you to get all those services that cost over $400-$500. I have a friend agreed to the deep cleaning and after she was done, they said you need a follow up deep cleaning. They invent all these procedures that you supposedly need just to get money out from you. They genuinely don’t care about the patients, ALL they care about the $$$$
I’ve neglected going to the dentist lately. Everyone was friendly and answered all my questions. They were very patient with me as I was a little difficult to work with. I received filings and a deep clean all in one day. Great customer service and I feel better about the health of my mouth.
0 STARS. The website is very misleading. Said free consultation for new patient. I called and texted to confirm and was told yes it would be a free consultation. When I got there, they told me the consult was $200. I told them I was told something else and they apologized for misleading. Do not go here. Not trust worthy.
I called and made an appointment for cleaning 3 weeks in advance on 8/17/20 and I have received 7-8 phone calls plus text messages and email to confirm my appointment and I received a text messages on Friday morning 8/14/20 to call the office and reschedule for another two weeks out I asked the receptionist why? She said that a call center made the appointment with a doctor that only works Tuesday through Friday and I told the receptionist since I made my appointment I have received multiple phone call texts and email to confirm my appointment why couldn’t you guys figure it out then and her response was like I don’t know. Seems like the call center doesn’t talk to the locations or they don’t have doctors schedules in front of them when making appointments. This was the worse customer service, they don’t realize that people who are coming to get cleaning or fillings done they also work and they have to take time of from work to come and see you guys at least you guys can do is to respect people’s time because they also have to work they also have busy schedules not just you guys
I had a pleasant experience all the staff was so warming and gentle very skillful knowledgeable staff clean and very organized and the dentist she was great this is my dental office for as long as I’m in Georgia they also gave me a call the next day to see how I’m feeling after my procedure thank you all so very much
I am a very dissatisfied patient of this particular Sage Dental location. First issue, my dentist called out ill at approximately 7:45am as I arrived for my 8am appt, a few weeks ago. Time and gas wasted. I then rescheduled my appt. for this morning. Another 8am appt.. I assume the dentist (Dr. Singh) was present today. I’m not certain because I never saw her. I was checked in and roomed. The assistant then took my blood pressure. It was “high”. I explained my blood pressure does indeed fluctuate as I am under Dr care for other health issues. My pressure literally has to be taken twice for my regular doctor’s appts. Even if we disregarded the 8am ATLANTA traffic struggle, having a preferable “one time blood pressure reading” preference isn’t customer service oriented at all. Again, Dr Singh never even took the time to speak with me. I will never visit here again.I’ve been treated by this provider/location before. So, I WAS a return patient.
Sage Dental the worst dentist I ever seen. The only concern about how to get customers money, I pay them yearly insurance money and first check up then they rescheduling me two times saying there is no doctor and the second schedule the doctor sick 15 minute from appointment time.WORST...WORST.....👎👎👎👎👎👎
I had a 3 pm appointment, they called and moved it up to 2pm, this is ok, got there and was in a dental chair in 20 min. Stark , they did x rays, my ins played for, then they did more special x rays I had to pay for, did not tell me. The hygienist came in for a moment, the dentist came in for a moment talked about period work, and everybody left. I sat there for an hr. Just listening to employees sniker, wisper, and laughing in the room next door. Finally the front desk person came in and said I needed to pay, and would give me a referral to a periodontist. So much for a one stop dentist. Will not be going back. Had the x rays sent to hopefully my new dentist.Robert FryPS. I just heard on the radio that Sage Dental is a one stop dentist, only if you have a good mouth of teeth, I needed perio work, a couple pockets at level 5, they said I need ed to go somewhere else. I went to imagex, did all work right there!!
They were very nice. All the staff were friendly the place was clean and it smelled good. I would recommend it to my friends. The funny part about it right next door theres a bundt cake bakery OMG. Im going to be going to this dentist because every time I leave I will pick up a bundt cake.
People made me afraid to get a filling because Im scared of needles but Dr. Singh told me that my experience would not be the same as someone else. She was right, I was scared for no reason, I didnt feel the shots, and the procedure seem quick for 3 fillings. Thanks Sage
I Had to wait a long time to be seen. Office was running very behind and after spending 2 hours in the office I only walked out with X-rays and a gum exam. Didn’t even get a teeth cleaning. Now have to make a separate appointment for that. Will have to see how cleaning actually is but so far very disappointed.
This is Jabrail McCants posting from my brother’s gmail. I was just here and was in sooooo much pain. my visit started off kinda rocky tho it wasn’t their fault they did everything in there power to make sure I was comfortable and without pain. Got the tooth out and I’m feeling pretty good for now!!!!Now when these meds wear off I don’t know lolThe doctor was very empathetic, kind and straightforward lol but she knew what she was doing. And I’ll be back Tuesday

2022-07-21Alexia, Mary & Dr. Coronado were very thorough and patient. My familys procedures werent rushed & they were too pleasant. Alexis met me at the door.None of that crazy waiting for hours from the door to your chair either. From the communications through email to the billing, I felt that I knew what was happening. This has been a very unique experience as a new dental patient of Sage and now my family has a new dental company that we actually like.

2022-05-03I have been going to sage dental since a good friend of mine put me on to them, normally Im very apprehensive as most people are about going to the dentist but I must say this place is one of the most professional and kind-hearted people / dentist office that I have ever visited. Their office operates like a well-oiled machine whatever time your appointment is within 5 or 10 minutes you are seated and they are gearing up getting ready to do whatever it is that you came in there for, the staff is very friendly and courteous, once you go there you wont want to go to any other office they make you feel like family while youre there.

2022-05-16The service was speedy . They clarified cost beforehand. It was clean. My oral surgeon was Kristopher Hasstedt. He made sure I understood the pros and cons of pulling each wisdom tooth. Made sure I understood what would follow. I love the energy of the employees that I came in contact with.

2022-04-21Dr Smith and Alexia were awesome. Over 3 visits I’ve had a few fillings and a crown and neither of those times did I feel rushed. When getting my permanent crown, Dr Smith made multiple adjustments at my request without question or hesitation. Alexia’s bedside manner is the best I’ve seen. The first appointment I had, I did have to wait for some time before I got called back but the service made up for it. They told me up front what would be my portion of the bill would be and haven’t had any surprise fees come up.

2022-07-19Edited to add: I had my final appointment with Sage. It was another two hour wait. When I voiced my concerns about my previous wait times, I was told it was due to “Covid sanitation.” 1) They are a dentist office, what sanitation were they *not* doing prior to Covid, but they are doing now? Eww. 2) They clearly don’t take Covid seriously because their front desk staff wear their masks on their chins. I was told they don’t require masks. Don’t go here. Find another dentist.I know this long, but please read if you are considering treatment at this location: My experience at Sage Dental of Tucker was the worst dental or medical experience of my life. I have a regular dentist, but they were closed for a holiday and I needed emergent care. I made an appointment at Sage, and was grateful they could fit me in. Once there I waited over two hours to be seen. I was annoyed, but accepted it, as it was a last minute appointment.I required a second appointment for a root canal. The estimate of cost they provided me was less than my regular dentist, so I went with Sage. That appointment took 6 hours. For a procedure that should typically take 90 minutes. SIX HOURS of sitting in various chairs, being moved from department to department, and standing when the waiting room became too full. I would have left, but halfway through they had performed the 20 minute root canal and sent me back to the waiting room without the temporary crown. I was trapped until they finished the work. They approached me at two hours in and told me that because I had another dentist, their general dentist could not perform the procedure and I would need to see a specialist, which would cost more. Thankfully, after some back and forth, the office manager was able to waive the consultation fee for the specialist, making it only $30 more. At this point it felt like a sunk cost situation: I’d spent hours of time in the office, and on the phone scheduling, already paid for multiple visits. I just wanted my tooth fixed. The next day I get repeated texts from them giving me a new, unapproved date for my permanent crown. Different from what I’d scheduled, and what was printed on my invoice. I had to call, be placed on a long hold, and get that sorted out. They said it was a “mistake.” No one apologized.Well, less than one week later, the temporary crown simply broke. I wasn’t eating or drinking. It had never felt right, and I knew it wouldn’t last, but I’d hoped it would at least make it until my appointment for the permanent crown. Nope. Now I’m sitting here with an exposed root canal hoping I won’t have to spend another six hours in their waiting room hell tomorrow.Although the staff and dentists are kind, it doesn’t make up for their terrible system and disorganization. I watched as elderly people and disabled patients, sat for hours waiting for their appointment. Both days I spent in there, they were clearly overbooked and running hours behind. I can understand this happening occasionally, but this appears to be the standard of care they provide at this location. I wish I had spent the extra $300 and gone to my regular dentist where I would have been treated as a human being and not just a number.

2022-04-11I have the worst dental anxiety from a bad experience with another dentist. The staff at Sage Dental of Tucker is amazing. From the front desk to back office. Dr. Hasstedt was simply wonderful. He and his assistant Toya made sure I was comfortable from start to finish and that I understood what was happening. I love it there.

2022-03-22I went in for a tooth extraction and was told they couldnt do it that day. I was told that I needed a root canal and that pulling tooth out was a bad idea. After they did x-rays and was seen by multiple people, I was asked to go to front desk to discuss the price of the needed work. All I seen on quote was prices for cleaning, root canal and crown not extraction. Then I was told if I wanted to extract it was going to be a different Dr and visit fee with a down payment of $100. So I declined and had to pay $353 and got a receipt with just the amount it dont even explain what I was charged for. Worst dentist visit ever.
