I’ve been going to the Larry’s for a long time. I was disappointed last time. I ordered 2 sandwiches. The one was bad. I asked to have the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on the side. When I got to Waynesville and was giving one sandwich to a friend and the sides didn’t get in the bag. The meat was chewy and raunchy. Not sure if I am going back.
Worst subs I very had today never will go back
Had my first dine in experience there yesterday! I have to say it was great! Not only was the food good, the owner suggesting even a special sauce to make sandwich A+ in taste, the staff was super friendly and efficient in service. I walked in prime lunch time, 12:30, w a line to the door and almost all tables full. There were only 2 employees, along w the owner behind the counter. Not only did they manage the line, getting everyone taken care, they were quicklyquickly getting orders out and managing the phone ringing eveey few minutes. All the great subs you would expect from Larrys , typically I eat at FL ones and this one didnt fail to meet expectations. Food came out fast for all 4 people in my group. I had the meat ball sub and it was piping hot and fresh. Plenty of parking in the shopping plaza, easy to find. Just a little bit off the highway but much better than any major fast food.

Ordered a phillycheese with no onion, with mushrooms, extra cheese with, Mayo and A1 on the side. The Philly came with, no mushrooms, no extra cheese and they put mustard on it. Also no Mayo or A1 sauce.
Wow what a great sub! Had the Calypso on wheat. Bread does not overpower the meat. Not many places to choose from off the highway and so glad we ended up here!
Staff is always friendly and helpful! Location is always clean and inviting.

If I could give zero stars I would... besides the extremely small sandwich which was the 8 inch size but couldnt tell it. The flavor was nasty and the bread tasted horrible as well. Will never come to a Larrys giant sub restaurant again. Be forewarned... by the way the sandwich was thrown in the garbage and Im finding somewhere else to eat.. also let it be known that the steak and cheese is microwaved warm which is disgusting.
Most definitely cleanest than anyone preparing food Ive ever seen for the public!! The last 6 months seems no one can get my orders right! Multiple orders and multiple trips back and forth! Offering 10% or to fix the order of return for inspection get home after the second trip of after inspecting the first order remaking the second time your staff still messed up! I think Im good for the last time!!
They have great subs. You just have to wait a little bit on getting them. That is the only negative. Dont mind the sub was great.

Clearly the best sub shop on exit 29. Of course thats my opinion, since i been in this area for over 25 years. Always clean and friendly environment, convenient to all neighborhoods near exit 29.Try the meatball or ultimate sub.
Amazing subs
This was my first visit to a Larrys Giant Subs location. It immediately shot to the top of my list of favorite sub shops. I have tried the Turkey, Cheese steak, and Meatball subs and they were all outstanding. They use fresh top quality ingredients, and it is very evident in the product. The store is nice inside, with plenty of seating. Service was pleasant and very quick.
So I called in an order for a Muffaletta, Big Destroyer, and a small steak. When I got home, I was disappointed. Nothing was on the sandwiches the way they were supposed to. When I called in, the young lady that answered the phone arguing, that she made the sandwiches and that they were right. Even when I offered to bring the sandwiches back and send them photos of the sandwiches. She just said okay, bye. Horrible customer service. Better off going to the one in Brunswick or on the island.
Great sandwiches
From out of town. Stopped to pick up 4 subs to take back to the hotel. 1 was completely wrong. The Philly which is usually hot was so so. I asked for peppers and onions on it. THEY WERENT SAUTED. They were diced and ice cold. Just not worth it. If I wanted a cold sub I would have ordered one.

Absolutely the best sub sandwiches you will ever have. Theyre Italian dressing really puts it up to par and their meat is unlike any other Ive had. By far my favorite place to eat if I was going for subs. ask for the mighty Mitch with everything on it and ask for extra Italian dressing you will not regret it

Very clean kitchen area and sitting area from what I saw, helpful employees that where willing to answer all questions with a smile, sandwich was delicious and full. Very happy with the service, food and will be returning. Great place for lunch, sports up on every t.v., good amount of seating, bathrooms could use a little TLC. I could have just caught it after a rush but definitely needed a good bleaching.
I found mold in my food today. So disgusting the manager on duty was very courteous.
Some how got a cold philly cheese steak sub. Might had been my fault I assume it would at least have warm grilled onions I love larrys but this one wasnt it

Very delicious Ham and provolone sandwich. They use uncured ham and fresh veggies. Excellent salads!!! I ordered the Greek with egg instead of ham. They cut my tomatoes, diced up my cucumbers and olives and chopped up my lettuce..all fresh and made to order. I havent tasted a salad this fresh in a very long time.
My brother and I come to this location on most days with our backgammon set, and sit and play for hours. We love this place because the food is incredible (try the veggie cheese sandwich, the chef salad or the amazing clam chowder), the people couldnt possibly be friendlier (hi, Alex, Valerie, Cooper, Lonnie and whoever I’m forgetting!), everything is extremely clean and the prices are right. We also LOVE the fact that the music is played at a very low volume! Thats a huge plus today when most places try to destroy your eardrums. Come, and if you see two guys playing backgammon, say hello!

I was visiting my sister in Brunswick Georgia and we decided to eat lunch at Larrys. We dont have a Larrys where we are from. The sandwich was very good and big with lots of fresh ingredients. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.
Had the Greek veggie sub with turkey and it was amazing. Bread to meat ratio was perfection. Very generous.

The list of subs on this menu is so crazy, and they all sound delicious. Theres even a separate menu just for Italian subs because they have like 10 diff versions! I was so excited to try something, so I went with The Animal from the Hot Subs menu - roasted turkey, ham, and provolone with lettuce, tomato & onion. I got it with Italian dressing.Well, I am sad to say this sub was really sub-par. Im not sure there was even any Italian dressing on it as I had to add salt, pepper, & my own Italian dressing to it once I got home. It also wasnt heated through very well and I had to throw it in the microwave to melt the cheese the rest of the way.Maybe I caught them on a bad night ? Not sure, but this will probably be my first & last experience with Larrys.

For some reason they can’t make a decent salad. Every time it’s a different combination of veggies. This last time I receive what seemed like the core of every single head of lettuce in the entire store! It had maybe 4 sliced olives and the tomatoes were so soggy! So dissatisfied! 2022-04-24This is usually my favorite Larry’s location but today was a BIG fail. Stopped in for lunch to take to the beach. 33 weeks pregnant and wanted a chicken salad sub. Cashier even asked if I wanted the chicken salad SALAD or SUB, and I said sub. Got to beach and it was an EGG salad sub. So much for the craving and protein quota I was trying to get for baby. Big fail and highly disappointed.

2022-06-04Horrible ..my husband and I love the Antipasto salads from Larry’s at other locations. Tried the one at Hyde park lettuce was rusty, and meat and cheese was basically nonexistent!!! Last time we order there!

I have went months or weeks without eating at this location because the young ladies that work in this location always seem to be preoccupied with other things on their mind other than making a decent sandwich. If its not other things thats preoccupying their minds where they cant focus on making a meat and a complete sandwich like its supposed to be made, they must be racist😞Today they were not nice and pleasant when you walked in the door they did not greet you also when the sandwich was complete the girl just up on the counter and was like here you go when all the many times before Ive had the places the other Larrys walk the sandwich out to you and tell you to have a good day today this Larrys is the worst of all that I have ever been to and whats sad it is only like 1 mi away from my homePlease if youre looking for a good sandwich and no cross contamination. In pleasant greetings and transactions, please look elsewhereThis is not a good place to go because it seems like they do not know how to cut up onions. They overload your sandwich with large giant pieces of onion. Theyre always out of things in the two young ladies thats working there today. 2022-01-31Orders three subs, cheese sub, 2 ham and cheese subs. Meat was sliced way to thick and very bland sub. When I got home instead of a cheese sub I got a steak sub with cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes and lettuce. Awful! Service, I don’t think they were taught how to make a sub. When I called they said they didn’t have cheese subs, why didn’t they tell me that, I was there in person! instead they gave me a steak sub. And as far as big subs go no way ! Larry needs to check out their stores. What a big disappointment!! 0 stars This was at Hyde park commons Brunswick Georgia
