Is there anything better than a Savannah Bananas game on a hot southern summer evening? I think not. Described as a show where sometimes baseball breaks out, it is ab absolutely fantastic time for the whole family. The Historic Grayson Stadium sets the scene perfectly for this amazing experience. 5 Stars (or 5 bananas) all the way!
Amazing experience! I love baseball and had an incredible time, and my wife...well she fell asleep at a Chicago Cubs game but was cheering the whole time this time around and said she can’t wait to go back to Grayson Staidum. Thanks Man-Squad Cheer Squad, the Banana Nanas, Sharkie, Maceo, and Mr. Cole for opening the door to getting baseball back into my life once again!
Good times, with even better fans. What more could you want. The major leaguers could learn from this type of atmosphere as my Cousin Sal had recently gone by the Mets game and not had nearly as much fun. And had good seats too. This is the way baseball should be. Can we get the commish out here and show him what the future of baseball looks like.
Just received my t-shirt order today and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the yellow delivery box and coozie and multi use logo sheet included for free.Thank you for all of this. You’ve made this New Yorker even a bigger fan of the Savannah Bananas!Go Bananas!Ed HelinskiAuburn, NY
We attended a game with a group and we all loved it! Even the non-baseball fans. The stadium was nice, most of the seats (even in the general admission section) were covered, concessions were good, and the atmosphere was fantastic! Ive never been to a ball game where they concentrate so heavily on crowd participation and enjoyment. My husband commented that it seemed like a very short game (they did play all nine innings) due to all of the entertainment. The hype was warranted; we all had a great time! And the team aint too bad, either. Highly recommended for baseball fans and non-fans alike. --- The night we attended they were having a Bark in the Park promotion and all of those good boys in the stadium were an added bonus.
The entertainment was one of a kind, we came down from Charleston and happened to find someone selling their tickets. Unlike any baseball team we’ve ever seen, we really did laugh most of the game. HOWEVER, that being said, we were disappointed with the safety and social distancing that was not enforced whatsoever. We chose to keep our masks on the entire game for our own health but barely saw anyone wearing one other than to walk around. It felt crowded even though it was supposed to be limited capacity. They did temperature checks before entering but we know that’s not necessarily an indicator of having covid. I just wish certain seats had been blocked off to allow for more space in front, behind, and to the sides of us. Clearly we were going to go no matter what and really need to see live sports this year. But if you’re concerned about covid I would strongly advise you not go until it’s safe to be around other people.
Savannah Bananas used to be fun, but not anymore. I wasted my money last year on a 5-game plan and only went to 2 games this year. The ticket prices have gone up, the stadium is CROWDED making it difficult to actually find a spot to sit at, and parents let the kids use the seats as a literal playground! I get the small town locals dont really care about baseball games, but please take your kids to a playground with swings and slides instead of a baseball game if they cant stand still. I also want to add the customer service is lacking, but I guess that is what you should expect from a silly small town baseball brand. Its definitely not worth it.
This isnt just baseball. Going to a Bananas game is an experience like no other. Never received a congratulatory video after ordering tickets to an event? Never gotten a hug from an a staff member at a sporting event? This is better than just a ball game. You owe it to yourself to check it out.
Just attended the Savannah Bananas Fan Fest with my daughter and two grandsons! What a great kick-off for the season! Free hotdogs and drinks, awesome bouncy house, and I went home with a free Savannah Bananas t-shirt, which I WILL be wearing when I return for a game! Great community outreach-
Great, historic stadium. Former home of the Savannah Sand Gnats , inaugural season of the Savannah Bananas. Every seat has a great view and general admission playoff tixs just $9 plus an all you can eat option for $6 more. Lots of fun , hokey, interactive contests and some great college level baseball.
They should not allow people to hold complete rows for people who have not showed up. I can see a couple of seats but not half to full rows. 45 min before game empty to half empty rows and we are told they are taken. My party of 6 had to sit in tree different areas to get seated at the beginning. Should have assigned seating or at least have people seating you so this does not happen.
First off, I love baseball. Yeah, its a slower pace than say football or even soccer, but its a sport that is uniquely American. The Savannah Bananas, silly name aside, embrace the spirit of the game. Sure, they arent major league, but every big baseball star got their start on teams like this.My only complaint, is there is not nearly enough parking or seating to accommodate the crowds that are drawn here. I suppose this is a good problem, but word to the wise: come early otherwise youll likely find yourself a bit closer to strangers than you may want.
A very good and spirited amateur team that almost feels like they will give the opposing teams the slip. I personally have a very good feeling that this team will finally split the odds and really give the city a healthy and a delicious name. The Savannah Bananas may be a bit of a misleading name since we lost the Sand Gnats but this team will leave a slippery trail that will not be easy to follow. I have changed a lot of things that used to be my favorite ti Splits favorite just because i cant wait!Favorite Store – Banana RepublicFavorite Dessert – Banana PuddingFavorite Breakfast – Banana BreadFavorite Sun Tan Lotion – Banana BoatFavorite Color – YellowFavorite Song – Peanut Butter Jelly TimeFavorite Sandwich – Banana & Mayo (Dale Earnhardt Jr. Special)Favorite Book – Curious GeorgeLooking forward to a great season with Split and the Team.Go Bananas!!!!!!!

2022-03-19I’m not a baseball fan but my son is. Every year I try to take him to a Mariners game but since moving to Daytona that’s no longer an option. To nights game was by far the funniest and funnest game I have ever gone to. My son even agreed. It was great fun for adults and children alike!! From the Ba-Nanas (my personal favorite) to meeting all the players after the game. From the band and all the antics. It was an absolute blast. We will definitely be making this our spring time tradition from now on!!

2022-06-29As someone living in Ohio and the changes the Cleveland Indians have made to their logo and name, I lost all hope for the FUN in baseball. The Banana’s made me laugh all night AND provided great baseball!!!! You’ve won such a huge fan from someone who felt all baseball humanity was gone. Banana fan forever! Looking forward to our next game!

2021-08-27The best family experience! But even before we got to the game, Carson and Kurt were a huge help in getting us tickets. My family loves baseball, but if we didn’t, we’d still love going to Bananas games. The experience was so great that I’m still leaving a 5-star review even though my boys ate hot dogs until they puked! We might just have to make a trip to Savannah for the Bananas an annual thing.

2021-06-29I recently went to a Savannah Bananas game with a large group of people! We had the best time. It’s now 3 days later and I’m still talking about it. The entertainment was fantastic! If every baseball game could provide this type of fun AND baseball, the world would be a better place! Thank you to the owners for having this vision!

2022-06-08Come early. The party had already with music. We arrived close to 5 P.M. and there was already a line to get in and parking was filling up. The gates opened up at 5:30 and to start the fun was the Parade staring the team band and players giving hi 5’s. We sat close to the 1st base area which turned out to be a good spot to see all of the action. The hamburger and chicken sandwiches were blackened. The hot dogs were tasty and juicy. The event was a circus of events and was in ADD form. Music and partying start while you are in line and lasts after the game. Bring cushions for your seat, ear plugs, and a koozy for your drinks.

2021-03-19Im so happy to have such a fun family and adult place to go when I can get tickets. I love every aspect of these games from the players, to the announcer, interaction with the crowd, and especially the banana beer! Last game I tried the banana cream soda, it was quit delicious!
