Checked in after midnight, was awakened really early by health department and police. Had to leave. Asked for refund and was told by management to get a lawyer. Place was shutdown by Health Department.
Its cheap, its a decent room, not the Hilton but not the worst Ive been in, was fairly quiet and didnt have any issue with rumored problems.
The front desk man was always there and always helpful no matter what time of day or night and helped me and my family with a rough trip and gave us a great stay!! The rooms were beautiful and clean and the area wasnt really crowded! Would HIGHlY recommend this hotel. Great service all around! Will be visiting again
The room was disgusting. The bed looked like it was cover in urine. The carpet and walls were tore up. The lock was nothing but a screw and the ac didnt work.

This is the jankiest places Ive ever been even down to the pillows. Front desk guy at night rather get high than check ppl in and the old man will just come in your room telling you to check out when you paid for 2 days. This place need to be tore down and built back up with better management.
These people are thieves. I didn’t stay there again and needed a refund. They kept giving me the ring around about getting my money back. They said they would call and how many days have passed. They are scammers. Don’t stay there.

Our toilet wasn’t even cleaned we had to make them clean it there was urine all over the seat. Fire alarm wasn’t even working. Most disgusting place I have EVER stayed at! I will be calling and reporting them.
I didnt even stay at the hotel, I picked up a friend who stayed there.. The floors were unvacumed no shower head no towels no toilet handler. And the manager done absolutely nothing about. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to to my worst enemy
Theres a lot of strange people here....The building is decadent, they have 2 laundry rooms: in one the washer doesnt work and in the other the dryer doesnt work...so you have to carry your wet clothes around the building to go to the other laundry room....NO cleaning service.....So do your math

Nasty rooms, poor treatment of the people that work there - I feel sorry for how this trash of a motel operates, this place needs to be shutdown - closed! Something bit me here, I dont know what was but the room smelled weed, very disgusting, the curtains needs to be changed or washed, it was dust everywhere.
There was a literal crack pipe left on the toilet & the TV didn’t work. Absolutely disgusting but if you’re in the middle of a mental breakdown, it will feel like home.
Had a great experience here. Room was nice and CLEAN... could use an outside update but other than that everything worked HOT shower and NOTHING falling off the wall. Prices were great and NO roaches. Will be back.

This is a great place to stay the staff is really friendly and I did not have no problem getting a reservation. When I called to make sure that I had a reservation the staff was very nice and made sure that I had done it correctly. when I arrived the lady s at the desk we super friendly and if I need something extra they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed.

They have a light breakfast. Donuts coffee and cereal. For such a reasonable price I wouldnt expect even that. So thats why it gets a 5 star. It was way more than I expected for the price....

This place doesnt get not one stay from us...the housekeeping folded dirty towels up in the shower curtain and the tub was filthy..they told me they charge me 70& abdy credit card was charged 84$ ..the breakfast is the worse ever. .the milk is just sitting out in the counter hot..I went to leave the office with a pkg of stale doughnuts and the lady yells at me to stay on the office with it and the chairs are piled on top of each other where u cannot sit ..I dont recommend it to nobody

So me and a friend booked and then we got to the motel and there was confusion going on but then when we were given a key we got a room which was almost stripped and then it was wide open to 2 other rooms and just gross and unclean all around

This was the most pleasurable experience. Came in at 1 in the morning on a freezing night tired as can be. The front desk receptionist was warm and caring she took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. And followed up with our stay. Cleanest rooms and I mean spotless. Comfortable beds and burning hot water. Definatley will stop again when passing through.
The worst hotel stay ever! Nasty young lady checked us in with such an attitude I was shocked. TV broke no phone when we complained about the noise until 2 am was told its the weekend .Do not stay here, absolutely horrid, unless looking for something illegal! Clean and recently remodeled, the Scottish Inn is a good value motel. Both of our rooms were clean and large. Very happy with our stay... I would have given it 5 Starrs but they closed the office 10 min before 11am check out.
I drive a tractor trailer, I was required to take a break of 34 hours and decided I would relax in a hotel room rather than my truck for this time. Reviews were mixed about this Scottish Inn, I took a chance. I took pictures as evidence because I want to show I bear no ill will when I write this.First thing I noticed was the television was mounted on the wall crooked. I tried to straighten it but it is in fact affixed crooked. Next was the bed. Stained sheets and comforter. One picture is of the comforter and a message for future guests. Yes it’s actually in use that’s how I found it and left it. The desk chair has no back, two arms, no back. I started to sit back a couple of times but luckily didn’t fall out. There are no carpets in the room I was in. I wore shower shoes in the room, and to take a shower. I sat in the backless chair on a towel. The air conditioning was barely keeping the room tolerable. If you sat still absolutely still you were ok. If I walked across the room I would start sweating. I finally decided I would just stay in my truck. I took my things back to the truck and slept in it. I actually checked out after a few hours.The steps to the second floor shift when you step on them. Something is not right. It’s not just shifting concrete in a steel frame, the entire section of stairs drop a little. The concrete steps themselves are uneven damaged messes. I stumbled a few times carrying my bags.My advice, spend a few extra bucks. Stay someplace comfortable and clean. It was dirty, looked dirty, felt like a place nobody cares about. If you do go. You get 15 minutes to get a refund according to the sign they have up. Go to the room immediately, look around so you can get your refund and leave once you see what I am talking

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! SPEND AN EXTRA $10-20 A NIGHT!!! Dont judge this place by the pictures on its website. They are nothing like the actual rooms. It is passable to stay here but barely. The only reason we didnt leave was there was no refund on our three day stay. The bathtub is pealing, the bed was never made, I had to ask twice for clean towels (that are so scratchy!) No coffee pot and coffee like the website said. No Kleenex, no iron. The ice machine is a rusted out machine. Surprisingly, the bed was pretty comfortable, I did not see any bugs. The only extra chair was a desk chair. The pool had been closed for the entire summer. It would have been nice to have known that bit of information. My husband did learn a lesson that you get what you pay for. If it says there is no refund, its because they know you really would leave asap.

This has been the worst hotel I have ever been in. First off when I checked in the lady at the front office was feeding her son. So unprofessional! Then I had to wait 15 minutes for them to clean my room but she had already checked me in. They didnt have me nothing but 1 wash cloth with 4 people in the room then get mad at me telling me that they rooms come fully with enough towels and wash clothes. The beds are so hard and I will tell anybody not to stay at this hotel. Its really is bad and nasty. Never again Ill stay here. Me and my kids will sleep in our car before Ill come to this mess. I wish I can upload these pictures but I dont see where it lets me. Bad trashy dirty nasty all the above.

Paid $60 for the room. Price wasn’t bad but the room looked like it was being remodeled but was never completed. The bed and tv were ok but the bathroom was horrible. Rust over the toilet seat and the tub was gross, and the door doesn’t close. But overall I guess it could be worse.
We didnt stay at this hotel. We didnt feel safe. We were on the second floor when we asked to be on the first. Between us and the stairs there were some rough looking people who kept staring at us and there was No way to avoid them. We choose a different hotel even though it was more expensive.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The room was dirty and smelled. There was also mold in the bathroom and the bed was lopsided. Not that it matters that much but the tv reception was bad, too. That, however, is not the worst of it. Upon checking out, I noticed that the manager had charged me under someone elses name for 4 nights. He literally checked me in the night before and checked me out the next day. He snatched the receipt from me and told me hed email me the proper receipt, as my card hadnt been charged improperly–it was just a mix up. After getting to my next destination, I checked my bank account and saw that he had charged my card for 4 nights. I called immediately and he said he was taking care of it through Booking.com, where I made the reservation. I gave him a week to return my money but never got refunded. To make matters worse, the phone number for the hotel no longer works, or theyre just not picking up, either way I couldnt, and still cant, call the hotel to get answers. Booking.com sent me an email saying they (the Scottish Inn) declined to reimburse me because theyre claiming I stayed longer than the one night I was there. I have the bank statements and Priceline/Booking.com itinerary to prove this is false! He finally called me back on his private cell 3 weeks after staying there, saying that management had changed that he would reimburse me. I asked him why he lied to Booking.com and he kept repeating that he was a new manager even though he sounded like the same guy (kept calling me brother at the end of each sentence). Still havent been reimbursed. The owners or managers, or whatever, are scam artists. Dont stay at the Scottish Inn in Savannah, GA.
We booked for the pool thumb down, however the check-in process was good, the room clean and bug free as well as updated I had few concerns with the grounds, Trash all in the parking lot and several stray cats, They share a pool with Econolodge, Over all for the value it was good.
Cleaning crew and maintenance were great. I expected the owners to be a little more hospitable. We paid 380.00 for 1 week. Not a bad price considering we have a 90 lbs dog.

Not very clean, we were desperate for room after driving all day in bad holiday traffic. Bed horrible, pillows were no good, too thin to even use, towels looked dirty and disgusting. If you have a choice, pass it by!!!

Here for long term stay only stayed for 1 week because of service...tv in room didnt work, rooms cleaned 2 times a week and didnt get that even after bringing it to the attention to guy in the office in the evening, Had to go to the office for clean towels, roommate had clothes come up missing,...!!

I wanted to give this place a negative rating but I have to be fair. The bed was comfortable and very clean. The room overall was clean. It is right off of 95 with gas stations and places to eat within walking distance. Now the negative. There was a hole underneath the sink. The tub needs to be refinished because it is old and worn. The fire alarm is missing and all that remains is a hole in the ceiling. The pictures were even crocked. The steps were starting to rot. I saw 2 ice machines, where even one of those was out of order and they both were old, worn and nasty. I had to pin our curtains closed because they didnt quite cover up the corners when u pulled them together to close up the middle. The prices were ok or cheap. But remember that u get what u pay for. We went to the office to turn in the key since were leaving early, and they have a ring the bell sign outside of the door when locked. So we rang the bell but no attendant showed up so we had to put the key back into the room and leave it there in a locked room. SMH to the whole place.
The hotel was disgusting. There was sticky stuff on the facuet and sheets were unchanged. I went into the bathroom and there was poop in the toilet. Bugs everywhere and check in was horrible, I mean, who checks in through a window? Some food for breakfast had mold and fungus in it, there was also a lack of bread. No coffee maker even though it was said online that we would get one. TV was bad quality and the towels were not changed. No wifi password was given. Shampoo and conditioner came in packets. Do not recommend, go to a nearby hotel as this was a bad hotel. 1/5

Ok first we check an room a day ago and when we go to check an we clearly told the guy that it will be two adults n two kids my oldest is 11 n my middle son is 9....ok remain i stay at scottish before n never did i have to put a 25 deposit down well this time i did....ok well we go to the room it smell funny towel was a lil dirty i got the room cause my kids was vist me from 3 hr away andthen the our floor got wet from the ac so we had to change room ok we was an room 12 they move my brother n two kids to room 106 ok i go to pay for another night n im not make complaints on how the room was cause the price this guy that work front desk tell me that it 4 grown mens an the room he said no kids that big you made feel like he was been racist due to we are black but i paid with no problen so he go to tell me i got to pay 10 per child cause he can do that he can charge me for my kids been the room i never had these type of problem untill i went there n that place is very horrible so i will never an my life go back to that place cause when i check in i clearly told that man me n my boyfriend said it be two adults n two kids few days later an try to get more money out me why i never disrepect them n for this to happen to us i never been told by any hotel that kids under 18 can be charge never n my life when i book my room i put two adults its say price is goid up to 4 ppl an the room why charge me extra 20 for kids when u knew they was there from the start poor service poor lack of communication and most def disrespectful ppl i ever came cross i will not stay nor will i ever have anybody i know stay here....

Staff was very rude and unfriendly, the room the absolute worst, nasty, dirty and old. parts of the ceiling were coming down. ac does not have an automatic option. mold in the bathroom and cockroaches everywhere. the pillows smelled hoerible too. thankfully no bed bugs! but even, if it was a fairly cheap night, absolutely not worth the money we paid! You’ll have a better night sleeping in your car!
If I could give a 0 star review I would. This place had black mold in the bathroom, dried up rice in the bed, and still had other peoples hair on the pillows when we checked in. There was roaches all over the building, and used condoms and empty beer bottles in the parking lot. The whole room smelled like urine, body odor, and rotten food. We tried to call room service and they hung up on us. I went to the front office and hand to ring the bell for a solid 5 minutes before they responded. I asked for clean sheets and they refused to give us any and said that we put the rice in the sheets. I couldnt believe how terrible this place was. The extra 10-15 bucks that you will spend at any other hotel for the night will be well worth it.
Sometimes I feel really bad giving bad reviews to hotels, because ultimately thats someones job that youre trashing. But I dont think one single employee of this place cares. The room we were rented was absolutely awful.We checked in at 2AM on our drive to Florida from NJ. The rooms had fleas, the drawers didnt close, the bath tub hadnt been cleaned, their was a large red splatter on the carpet (blood perhaps?) and there was pink writing on the wall that said Kendalll, go **expletive** a **expletive**. This was written in light pink pen. You mean to tell me they couldnt scrub that off or put paint over it? Not even white-out? Thats just laziness and a lack of caring. The staff there clearly just goes in, vacuums, makes the beds, MAYBE some light dusting and thats it.The room was cheap, but we moved to another cheap motel that night that was a lot better just by nature of actually being clean. With that in mind, there is NO REASON to stay here so avoid at all costs. We had issues getting a refund, which was expected since it was booked through a third party, but working in the hospitality industry myself it seemed unreal that this request couldnt be accommodated especially since it was for such a small amount.
First of all, one star is too much. My husband and I stayed for a week, only because the other hotels were sold out. Second, we had a miserable stay the entire time. Couldnt get a refund so we stayed the remaining days.First, the room had a problem with the outlets. They didnt work. They moved us to another room. No problem but then there was a leak in the wall from the bathroom. They had to move us. They fixed the outlets so they put us back in the room we moved from. Fine. Just before going to bed, we heard running water coming from the bathroom. Good thing we checked. Water was flowing like a river from the toilet and it was already flooding. The toilet broke. Turned out there was already a crack.Moved to another room. It was hot and the air conditioner was not working. No wifi in this room. So they moved us to a room that they only use for daily uses which is in the front. No problems there but the employees kept complaining to us. Dont know why they picked us for their work problems but we never heard the end of it. Even the manager didnt seem to know what to do half the time. Since wed worked for hotels before we gave them tips just to get rid of them.Then we over heard an electrician saying that they needed to rewire the entire back side of the hotel or there was going to be a fire hazard and they would need to notify the fire marshal. Nothing got closed while we were there.Be careful going to the Scottish Inn on Gateway Blvd. Please, your life is more important!
It has new management that are very nice and trying to clean this place up. Its old so not the Hilton but we stayed here 2 weeks. They clean the rooms. ITS QUIET. The rift raft is still around but they run them off a d have good clear security cameras.
The worlds worst motel, no wifi, no breackfast, no pool, a lot of cockroaches every were a strong cigar smell in all rooms, the police is always, there are police problems every week..........

The hotel itself is not that bad. The service is not bad. The reason why I give it two stars is because of the location. It is about 20ish minutes to Downtown of Savannah. There is not enough soap, towels not enough, beds are not big enough either. I would try to find something more centric.
I booked a room for 2 nights here and the bed is really comfortable.The room could use a few repairs, such as the bathroom furnishings and a few of the light bulbs need to be replaced. Last night there were some of those loud gangster people right outside the window, and I hope that they were not trying to get some type of wierd attention by being loud. It is 6 am, now, on my second and last day here, and I dont here thier scary voices anymore. Otherwise, this place is pretty good!
Its ok. Its old run by a family. They are trying to rid it of not so desirable types. I am in a popular room as 10 people have knocked my door and only my daughter knows where we are..lol. They only come 2 times a week for fresh linens.

Breakfast was too simple, toast no butter, cereal no milk. We booked four adults room but came with only two towels, requested two extra towels, promised to deliver to the room, never did. The phone and hair dryer didn’t work. The top of the shower tub was dirty. Torn and dirty bedding. They do have microwave and refrigerator. Convenient location near major plaza and off the exit of 95.
Usually pictures are deceiving when it comes to pocket friendly hotels, but this one was pretty great! The bed was very comfy and clean. No bugs anywhere. The tv has basic cable, so about 50 channels, some of which are staticy. Theres a big personal fridge and a microwave. Our room was a non-smoking room but there had obviously been smoking in that room. The tub had burn marks and hair in it, the blanket had a burn hole on it but the room didnt smell like cigarettes so it didnt bother us. For less than $50, it was a comfy stay.
They charged me for a second key, half of their lights and electrical plugs worked, their water doesn’t work as efficiently and the staff is horrid. I was late on checking out and the housekeeper was pushing out the door while I was trying to grab my stuff. She’s lucky I was on my way out because I would give her a piece of my mind. They need to fix their rooms and stop letting crackheads and hookers hang out there.
Dirty, needs updating ( carpet pulls, rusted sinks, poorly painted. ) Cereal and breads for their Continental breakfast, coffee was good, sheets were clean and fresh.

The absolute worst customer service ever. Room typically bad for that type of motel but staff made it even worse. Supposed to have coffee, etc. in the morning ... NOT. Nothing till 8am, after most everyone is going. Never, never, never again. Should lose Scottish Inn franchise.

On my life, Ive never been in such a stinky hotel like that. The carpet stinks, the sheats are stinky and dirty, the bathroom is dirty, the tub is NASTY, even my 2 year old child didnt want to put his feet down, didnt want to take a shower because it was so nasty. We rented five rooms and not ONE OF THEM WAS CLEAN. All of them were disgusting. I had a terrible headache because of the smell. My daughter didnt want to use the sheets because they so dirty and they had holes in them. She ended up sleep with her TOWEL as her blanket. No one wanted to take a shower because the bathrooms were so stinky and messed up. When we came into one of the rooms we heard dripping and realized it was the BATHROOM LEAKING. As soon as you open you door, BAM, the smell hits you right in the face and when you try to get a refund you might as well go try to sleep in your car. In the middle of the night one of the other people who occupied the other room woke up in the middle of the night and thought something was BURNING because her room smelled of cigarette smoke so bad. If I could put no stars I would put negative stars.
Basically, you get what you pay for. Dirty floor, dirty bathroom, bedding had some cigarette burns, shower water alternates between hot & cold constantly, sink does not drain, trash behind the nightstand, stains all over the walls & on the mattress & bed, only two towels & didn’t see any washcloths, checked for bed bugs & didn’t find any & didn’t wake up with any bites but there were some weird bugs just walking around on the floor, staff was VERY rude, personally didn’t have any issues with other people staying at the motel, didn’t check out the breakfast but I’m sure it’s not much to write home about. Overall, you can’t expect much when you’re staying in the cheapest motel in town.
On arrival.. Im pissed. Never again. 😤 Im sitting like oh my God. I will never ever stay at a Scottish Inn. This is my first bad experience at a hotel period. Pictures look aseomaw, in person though..SMH..Something should be done at this false advertising! For the price, I shouldve known that it was to good to be true. Sheets dirty. Bathroom terrible..I mean nasty for real. Ive never seen no mess like this. Fridge dont work. Telephone line,gone! Phone just sitting by the bed. Border gone from around the wall. Light bulbs gone out the the lamp..Im like really. Then the front desk service is even worst. Im so mad,I cant even enjoy weekend in Savannah. Lesson learned. No recommendation to no one ever. I really didnt want to give the 1 star i gave.
Ceiling was badly damaged, pool looked like it had not been open or maintained in years, vent in bathroom was filthy, shower spickets rusted, open holes in wiring box , charged for a pet I did not have, not given Senior discount.. Will NEVER stay here again !! Tried to post pictures, but wont download.
To say my experience was terrible is an understatement. All the screaming in the middle of the night from junkies, bed bugs, and their staff was trying to sell me drugs. When asked for a refund he said no. They also overcharged me and claimed it was a weekend rate when their website says different. Stay in your car first at least you know its clean. This is disappointing due to the fact they used to be great until management changed.
I wish I could give zero stars. Police, junkies moldy rooms, bloody sheets, no phone and definitely not a safe place for children. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $50 and stay safe.
A lot of the negative reviews from disgruntled customers are from those who have gone to this establishment to do drugs or start problems. The current staff are trying to clean the place up. This is a budget motel not a five star hotel so yes there are some problems but there is a plan in place to start fixing the problems.
This hotel is the most horrendous place I have ever stayed. If I hadnt been so dog-tired, I would have gone elsewhere. The room was extremely musty smelling, looked as if it had not been cleaned in weeks. Drapes were dusty, even the side of the TV cabinet was covered with dust. The carpet was ripped in many places, the faucet at the sink felt as if it was just about to fall into the sink. The cleanest part of it was the bathroom, and I wasnt comfortable with even showering. AVOID this place like the plague. Not only was it disgusting, but the advertised rate on the marquis didnt apply to this filthy room. I was charged $10 more than the marquis rate.
Upon entering, it looked decent. But, there was some dried white stuff on the center of the runner on the bed, which we just tossed on the floor. It couldve been my worst nightmare OR something harmless that couldnt be removed. My daughter got stuck in the restroom for like 30 seconds because the doorknob was......loose or unscrewing or something. But that was actually funny. The faucet is eaten away like a gas station restroom, but the tub looked new and clean, the sheets look very clean, the towels look very clean, the floors seem clean, and the room smells clean. It was inexpensive and we appreciate it. Our kids have clean beds to sleep in before our long drive home in the morning. Renovating/updating hotels is VERY expensive, so I understand the process of only being able to afford and prioritizing certain upgrades over others. Thank You for our stay!
Never Again! Horrible shower.. Bought cleaning products to clean it myself. Tv remote didnt work. Every time I called front desk they where very nonchalant about anything.
No value here. Wasnt looking for luxury but the room was very shotty with a vent falling out of the wall. Cheapest towels Ive ever used, like sand paper. Fridge would not get cold and hot water went in and out in the shower. Found a roach in the bathroom right after they cleaned the room. Also had biting flies in the room, woke up with a dozen bites. Staff was rude and breakfast was non existent. Better off just not advertising it. They had watery coffee with no creamer and 2 pre-packaged muffins on the counter in the morning after what they claimed was a sold out night? And I was told I couldnt take the one crappy muffin to the room to eat it, lol. Even though they have a fridge and microwave in the room so they clearly allow food? I put the crappy muffin back and went to IHOP across the street. Couldnt even drink the coffee, it was pretty bad. Also, there was no bible in the room and the light switch didnt work. Overall just a crappy place. Not worth a penny over $30/night. I definitely over paid.
This was the nastiest room ever..bath tub dirty. Holes all the walls none of my plug inns worked so had ti charge phone in car. The ac was horrible . so hot i couldnt sleep...you can get any drug of your choice right next door to ya and they actually introduce there self and tell u what drug they got and if he didnt have it the guy in the bottom floor had ut. .i would never ever bring my kids here..plus their pool waa all prettycand clean but they said ut was ti much trouble to open it up ..come on man its a hundred degrees outside smh ...HATED THE STAY

The front office male clerk was extremely rude. They did not supply wash cloths/towels, and when I asked for a replacement set, the clerk not only refused, but turned belligerent, and then accused me of lying. Needless to say, I have to go to bed tonight WITHOUT ample towels. Do NOT waste your time or money.
Would have gave it a zero but that wasnt an choice this motels is a scam they tell you one price on the phone and when you get there a different I called to reserve 5 rooms for a week they told me it would be $350 for the week for each room but when I got there the guy told me it was gonna be $700 already not a good sign cause they lie not only that the owner looked and acted like he was high on dope so just warning you if you go there he will scam you
The downstairs rooms have been upgraded from what they used to be. Now instead of looking like theyre straight out this late 60s early 70s the wall paint has been updated so has the flooring theres no real noticeable of smells old age, dogs, and just random other odors that can come into a room like that the only thing that has not been upgraded in the room is the window treatments theyre still 70s yellow. And for the price you pay its not bad and relatively it was quiet and no large amounts of traffic in the area finally

Save your money and go next door management will not give you more than two keys if you loose one you have to pay for it and management will complain about getting up at night to give you one she asked to please not be bothered at night for a key so if you stay here make sure not to loose your keys or your screwed and will not be able to get back in room and get your stuff.
First room had dirty floors and tub, no comforters, holes in the sheets, sockets did work, bulbs blown and no top lock on door. Second room had cigarette burns all the way down the side, no trash cans, plugs wouldn’t fit sockets, and a little dusty. All the rooms like they started renovating and just stopped. Smelled like old smoke so had to Lysol everything and then used an air freshener.

This is the worst hotel ever . The website said they had a pool and they didnt . They didnt wanna give anybody extra towels . They just give you 2 towels .The breakfast was old , chips in the machine was a year old , and the drinks cost $2 for a little bottle .

It had been a long drive from the thrills of Orlando, Florida and we needed a place to stay for the night to rest our weary heads we came across this motel, ignoring the reviews on trip advisor, we decided to go for the cheapest motel on the comparison site. How bad could it be? We said... Unbeknown to us we were in for the finest sleazy American motel experience.We were first alerted to the error in our ways whilst checking in to this fine establishment with reception smelling like a cross between curry and chlorine, alas their will be no airstrikes in bound, it could be argued that this would improve the state of things. However, marching on to the room itself, wow, is the only words I could muster up, crossing the threshold in to what can only be described as a full frontal assault of all five senses. Had we accidently booked into a feature motel that modelled Chinese prison cells?If you ignore the constant domestics, random guys knocking on the door at 4am and the state of the room. We had rather a pleasant stay and would recommend it to anyone having a rough time as a reminder of it could be worse!.
Horrid this place should not be this bad in the area its located in. Was woke up several times from people fighting. The room was insanely run down. Goodwill would not even take there furniture. Multiple things broken in room. I pretty sure this is where most of the method heads in the Savannah stay. The rooms are really that bad and Ive stayed at some iffy places. Do your self a favor and pay a little more and stay somewhere nicer. Will never stay again. Dont know what the there chain requirements are but this is ridiculous.

I was asked for money when I was walking from my car, it was not very clean, curtains were ripped and the bathroom door wouldnt close. There was a bar of soap with the human trafficking hotline pasted on it, as if patrons might find that helpful. As a young woman alone I did not feel safe.
Im a tourist from israel, i just want all the people that will gonna stay at this hotel, that is the worst service that I ever got.The lady in the reciept always cold not amile angry for nothing insult you in front of people and the staff. They are not cleaning the room, and when you tell them that the house keeping didnt clean they say wait for next week and laughed on your face, they dont want to change the towel to. They take a lot of money everyday for nothing. And they are thieves for the reason everyday they want you to pay more.Ill never recommend about Scottish inn savannah just because the stuff. They give you feeling like they dont want to be here.And something that I noticed that they are like to call the police every day to threaten tenants. It was very uncomfortableI hope no one will stay there it was my worst 3 days ever in a vacation.
Doors are dirty. Poor plumbing for toilet. A doorknob was sticky. Cigarette burns. Towel was soiled and duvet cover had smear stains. Terrible service. Staff rude overcharged by $10. Hostile when asked about it.
I wish I could give negative stars, this is the nastiest hotel I have ever been to. Mattresses way overdue for replacement, there was a stench in the rooms, towels had brown stains and hair and tub was soiled. Doors connecting rooms were missing the knobs, the knobs hole were stuffed with masking tape and the doors were being held shut with a piece of furniture. Receptionist was not friendly ... I could keep going but I do not want to spend more time on this crappy establishment. This place should be shut down and demolished.

2022-01-02Dingy stained towels everything was dirty in some way. Some of our sheets had cigarette burns and overall the room was falling apart. the people hanging around made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately we where in no position to leave so we where stuck.we went to extend our stay and the price jumped from 58 a night to 100 .They said it was due to updates and owner switch but I saw no such updates. I dont know what room here is worth 100 but I sure didnt see it. Long story short avoid this place at all cost. What kind of place hikes the price for a below sub par motel as your staying there.

2021-06-27Positive: The Scottish inn experience was not good for me at all. The hotel swimming pool was out of service. The rooms needed upgrading really bad. The entire hotel needs remodeling. When I walked in my room I was very disappointed. I was afraid to go to sleep Negative: When I walked in my room I was disappointed.. I wanted my money back but didn¿t know how to get it back. It was disappointing itge rooms looked like a roach motel. From the 1950s. I wanna refund. It looked nothing like the google pictures at all.

2021-07-25The room was absolutely disgusting! The mattresses are black and they have holes in them and there was also holes all in the wall and it reeked of a cigarette smell. Our furniture was broke. There was also mold in the bathtubs. Now I understand this was an affordable motel but it was nothing like the pictures showed online. Also there customer service is awful and my friend requested a refund and they didn’t give it to us so we had to go back because they scammed her. They overcharged her for a cancellation fee too

2021-06-10If its the last option and you just have to stay somewhere. Room looked like it had never been remodeled just painted. Only 1 lamp out of 5, the sink and bathroom light worked. AC would change temperature so we sweat because it wouldnt go below 74. The people in the office were never there and then when you get someone it takes 3 hours plus to get the help. Asked for more washcloths and towels which we only had 2 a piece with 4 people to take a shower. I had to give them dirty towels to take to get washed and then told they would bring them back after clean. I never received them and was demanded to get out without even taking a shower because they took our 2 whole towels and 2 whole washcloths and NEVER brought them back. Throw the whole establishment away!!

2021-07-13Positive: There was nothing to like about this hotel. It looked like it had not been cleaned in months!!!!! Some Lights didnt work, T.V was blurry, I understand covid19 impacts a lot of features but this hotel needs to be taken off your list. Negative: Bath room was a disgrace the door had no lock would not close and had holes in it !!!! Toilet did not flash we had to manually flush. Computer table was broken was just hold on with one screw it collapsed twice. This place needs closing down!!!!!!!!

2021-06-26This place beyond filthy. The sheets were stained and looked like they hadnt been changed. There was dog hair throughout the carpeting indicating that the room hasnt been vacumed. The mirror on the wall was cracked. This place is not fit to have a certificate of occupancy. I will be contacting the city to let them know about the condition. I went to the office and returned the key card as quickly as I could load my motorcycle. I sent them an email to refund my stay. Yelp review coming up next. Stay away from this nightmare.

2021-05-14Checked in and paid $70 I laid down in the bed while my wife took a shower, once she was finished she went to dry off and the towels in the room had dried blood on them, at this point we made the decision to leave and ask for a refund. Once I asked for this they refused to give us the full refund because we had used the shower and the bed was not made or as she claimed we had slept in it mind you we hadnt been there for more than 20 minutes. In the end I did not want to listen to the operator berate me as to why I didnt just say something about the room and was charged $20 dollars for a shower and an unmade bed. Would not recommend

2020-12-19I dont know where any of the nicer pics are from, maybe a different location, or maybe they are 30+ years old. VERY dirty, half of the lights didnt work, roaches in the room..... I could go on and on. It was an emergency situation that had me booking with them. But when I needed to extend the stay (I know, but it was for a homeless person) the guy at the desk admitted to taking all the online options off so you couldnt get a discount. So, if I am paying that much, Im moving them to a nicer place. This is definitely a drug den kind of place. Avoid at all costs.

2021-03-07Please do NOT stay here! I repeat, DO NOT STAY HERE. Owner refused to give us a refund after we found bed bugs. Instead, he tried to BLAME US for damages and then THREATENED us with his friends staying a couple doors down to intimidate us.I told his “friends” to check their beds.On top of that, the “Non-smoking” room reeked and gave me an instant headache. There were holes in the wall, cracked mirror, missing light bulbs and the list goes on. Ended up staying at the Quality Inn across the street which was great but out 60 bucks.There are plenty of other hotels around. Spend the extra 10-20 bucks.

Completely run down but wed made a last minute reservation in an emergency situation.We booked a room on booking.com 1 King bed 2 nights $239When I tried to check in he tried moving me to 2 doubles and only 1 night for $279. Totally creepy and shady.On the website it says continental breakfast in multiple places. Got there and they have no breakfast.I dont want to say Bait and Switch but....I would not recommend staying here.Went to the Clarion across the street and got our original 2 nights in a King suite for a total of $145.
