If you looking for a place just to relax and have a good time this is the place for it. It was very laid back the owner of the place is a rare find he was very kind helpful and knowledgeable. 10 out of 10 would go back!!
I gotta say, I loved this place. I was told about Sharifas by a couple of military guys from Augusta at a bar in Atlanta after I told them that Augusta was my next stop . They were a 100% right. The hookah was great, but it was the environment and the attention I got from the staff that made the moment even more memorable. Anyway, if you are ever hitting the Hookah Trail, this place is definitely a most.
They had the nerve to charge a $5 cover charge just to get in. Over priced drinks- cheap wines and bottled beers only- with glasses that smelled like smoke. Theres a minimum $8 charge to use a card. My wine glass was only half filled and cost $8. Only 2 women were working the night that I went. I only went there because my friends mistook it for Tribeca and I met them there. Well never make that mistake again.
Very chill place for a beer. Music is hilarious but not my taste. Still contributes to the relaxed vibe. Decor reminds me of being deployed in the Middle East, and the proprietors are from there so it felt very comfortable for me. We will return.
The shisha was good. The service and atmosphere not so much.Upon entering for the first time there was no hostess, signs, nothing. Everyone was sitting and smoking and we stood a few steps from the door for over 3minutes unacknowledged. I finally ask a fellow patron what the protocol was to be served and she said just have a seat wherever they will come to you. So we sat. For 30 minutes. Still unacknowledged. There was 2 females and 1 Male behind the bar. I walked up to bar, and smiled, and was treated as if I was interrupting their conversation.I explained that we had been seated and waiting on service to which I was balked at and told thats not the way the lounge operates. I was told upon entering we were supposed to walk to the bar, iin the back, place our order and pay, then we would be served.I apologized and stated it was our first visit at this lounge and they all operate differently.I ordered, a mixture, paid and tipped out 30% showing good faith.... for nothing.After paying I returned to my seat. Watched others come in, go to the bar and be served almost as soon as being seated. For 43 minutes.I then stopped the hookah delivery boy and ask about our order... only to be told when my number was up wed get a hookah.The hookah had residue buildup which overpowered the base flavor I chose and the exhaust was clogged with resin.Music choice playing was not relaxing. It was more appropriate for a rave.

The service was really lax for an almost empty bar, $30 and the coals werent even knocked to continue a smooth hit. The venue was decent. The bathroom was terrible though.
Very uppity attitude of daughter and staff lacked professionalism and common courtesy. The mother was amazing but referred me to daughter with a not so welcoming personal. They need to have signs posted for VIP and waivers saying to not move hookahs; more staff not stuck behind bar smoking hookah and rounds servicing clients. No responsibility for them ruining our experience.WILL NOT RETURN
Whether you are looking to go out on a date, have a fun night out with your guys and/or ladies or simply are looking for the best hookah in Augusta! Then don’t even hesitate just go! Remember different times call for different speed in service. A good hookah always takes time and I’ve learned that from experience. I’ve never went in this hookah lounge and been dissatisfied!
This is the best hookah spot in the CSRA. I love these folks they always treat me like family. Come here to get some great hookah. Real talk. The owner is always kind. Ashil is the man come get your hookah on. Bless these people
I love this place. Its laid back. Great place to relax. FyI drink before u get there or after. If u like wine or seagrams mixed drinks u good.
The place was disgusting. Boyfriend and I waited over 20 minutes for our hookah. People entering the lounge after us received theirs. Apparently they forgot about ours. The womens bathroom was out of order. The mens bathroom had piss all over the floor. No toilet paper and a sink full of water and vomit. No one ever checked on our coals. Had to stop one of the girls working there to check it. Again, waited and waited but she never came back. We just left. Never again! Ill go to Columbia before stepping foot back in that place.
Went to Tribeca was disappointed, came here and was impressed. This place has better prices, good music (the owner allowed us to dj due to us being the only people), and good hookah. The owner /host was sweet and sociable. I would definitely return
We are new to Augusta but not new a hookah were from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and patronize lots of different hookah lounges within our home town. We went to Sharifas and was very disappointed. First of all they only have one hose hookahs so you have to share and switch tips if sharing a hookah within a large group. Also me and my husband sat for well over 15 minutes while are coals were heated up which nobody gave us a Time expectancy. The gentleman that served us or took our order was very friendly very sweet. After we waited over 15 minutes my husband and I decided to ask for a refund because it was taking too long while the Owners sat in the front smoking hookah were just sitting in the back looking around like whats going on. The gentleman that served us decided to give us a refund while the woman that was sitting with him Im assuming his boss started arguing with us very unprofessional as she sat in the chair smoking hookah with her leg over the arm of the chair started berating us for wanting a refund and talking over my husband as my husband complained about the time it took to heat up the coals and there was no communication. I asked a woman to stop talking to my husband that way and she says to me I wasnt talking to you! Any other day this would have ended badly but I have matured and learned to choose my battles the gentleman stayed quiet the whole time handed me cash which we paid for with a card at the beginning of the transaction. I said thank you I took the cash and we walked outside trying to get my husband out of there as soon as possible because him and the female were going back and forth arguing. When I got outside I realize they shorted me a dollar so I went back inside and gave the money to the gentleman and said he had shorted me a dollar the gentleman took the money back quickly went to the register to give me the right amount the female owner was still talking stuff and says give him an extra $5!!! just to be smart I did not take the extra $5 she was implying that we were broke. When actually it was a service that caused us to ask for a refund and leave their establishment. I would give this place no stars. I know that Augusta is small and theres not a lot to do the find another hookah bar you will be disappointed.
Our shisha blend was smooth and fragrant- my only complaint is that my husband came with my friends and I (party of 4) and didn’t want to partake.. We were told he could leave and we pay for 3 users, or he could stay and we pay for him to sit there basically. I feel like it wouldn’t have made a difference, it’s not like they give you anything different, just an additional mouthpiece, but whatever
The atmosphere is calm and relaxing I love the incense that they keep burning the hookah is great and Scrappy I love when he is there because he is very entertaining
This is my favorite shisha lounge. The service and atmosphere are perfectly balanced creating a chill and relaxing environment. The flavors and hookahs are excellent and I’ve never been disappointed whenever I’ve gone to this lounge. Keep up the good work!
I liked the vibe of the lounge but the owner s daughter was a B*TCH! She said that we couldnt use our card to pay for the food which was nasty and under cooked only cash. She had gave us an extra order of wings that we didnt ask for and made us pay for them because she thought we had ordered them. When we asked to speak with the manager and she said her mom is the owner and she was going to agree with whatever she said. Thats so unprofessional she shouldve went and got her. Then we was asking questions about the drink menu she said just order I dont know about the drinks because I dont drink...... I am pretty sure a SERVER is not supposed to tell a customer that! We havent been back since. We may try to go back and hopefully her attitude has changed.
It took us over an hour to get our hookah/pipes, and then when we asked for a refill it took over an hour before we decided to leave and tell them to cancel the order. It wasnt even a busy night.Once we were leaving we heard the manager/front desk lady say, paraphrased, See we told you they wouldnt want another order. We did want another order... just 45min ago.EDITI edited this because I accidentally referred to the hookah as a pipe, rather than a hookah and they didnt catch on in my reply. I meant hookah, not pipes.
The last two times where awful bad customer service and lack of professionalism. My friend and I came on a Friday and literally experienced an employee getting fired because she wouldn’t make customers leave because they where full to capacity and some people refused to slide over in the booth area! The second time my friend and I went in literally gave the girl at the door our IDs she told us the prices with or without a card asked my friend for her ID again ( understandable because she using her card) and then the girl asked me for my ID again ! I literally had just shown her my ID and now I’m standing trying to dig through my purse to find it AGAIN!!! That’s ridiculously because the girl said “ I have a fish brain “ and didn’t remember looking at it! Food for thought owners stop discriminating on Black people you never know who is walking in your establishment how we look when we are off is not how we look when are at work in our professional fields and word of mouth can be your best marketing tool or your worst enemy!Update: I mistakenly gave you my Sam card the SECOND TIME you asked for it! When you already saw it the FIRST time again! Be mindful of how you treat your customers! You never know who you are severing!!!

Open from 6-12 on weekdays. 6-2:30 on Friday, 6-1:30 Saturday. Everyones favorite beers and wine selections. Hookahs well priced and great flavours. Staff is very enjoyable
Never a bad experience here. The staff/owners are really friendly and accommodating. Hookahs alright, but the higher priced ones are always excellent. Crazy security dude hovers sometimes
The staff is absolutely amazing. Very pleasant and are able to make educated recommendations from the menu. We started with pot stickers and a Persephones Ambrosa cocktail. The drink was amazing with actual smoke and the food was delicious. I recommend this to be your next stop in Augusta, GA.
The staff is the most lazy group of individuals I have come across. They say that they are open on Saturday 6:30 pm to 3:00 am. Arrived there at 2:00 a.m Saturday.. staff close door in our face telling us that they closed early on Sunday night. We were accompanied by another group of furious people at the door. We walked up and staff told us that they were close while they all sat around sitting smoking hookah.
This place is sooo chill! Me and my wife went here for the first time and the staff is great, music was awesome , beers were ice cold and the atmosphere was amazing!!! We are going back and taking friends!!!!!
Place makes its own hours and is never open... 2 Days back to back Ive been trying to go to this place and nothing. Website and advertising says one thing and another is done. Quite frankly all the lounges in the city of Augusta seem to work bankers hours. Not sure its good for business but as an Arab myself I can say this type of business would never cut it... Im seriously unhappy with these business practices.. Close and stay closed if youre never going to open.....

This is the go to Hookah lounge in Augusta. They use coconut coal and have a big variety of flavours. Staff are all very friendly and has a chilled atmosphere.
Great spot to come and hang out during the weekdays! Weekends have a DJ & the music is always on point! The owners daughter is a gem & always gives great service😌 10/10 would reccomend
I went twice, my Wednesday visit was relaxing and quiet. Went I went friday night, the music was extremely loud and they tried to fuel a night club vibe. Wasnt the relaxing atmosphere at all. Service was pretty good
I come here all the time and hookah is always freaking amazing and don’t know how but I always get messed up but Great people always lit on fridays if u tryna party but other days it’s really nice and chill. Hookah is worth the price also it’s deg my chill spot specially after work

Worst place ever to smoke hookah. Over priced and not clear on when closing is. Smoked for 20mins for $35. Complete rip off. Spend your money somewhere else.
I’m not coming back .there is no dj and when we tried to help with the music we were told no ..they know the music but it didn’t flow and they seem to not care we came here for my friends birthday and are regulars and school just started back but clearly this phase in life is over .

Somebody on this establishment tried to steal my phone. Manager was not helpful with trying to locate it. Luckily two great customers assisted. Never going back.
It was very hot in there and service was bad , they don’t have enough seat for everybody and it stink. I feel a ant crawling up my leg.

The hookah is dirty it looks like they never cleaned it. The water in the hookah is green like the water in ponds it was missing frogs and turtles. I asked them to change the hookah and they told me this is how we serve it.
The hukahs were grest quality, and they used good quality coals, and the shisha tasted great.
The manager is one of the most honest people I have ever met. I felt at home and welcome from the moment I came in.

Definitely would recommend this hookah place. Found this walking from Whiskey bar to my car at night with my bf. We heard the music and looked as we passed and decided to go in. Great hookahs, especially for the price. Good vibes and great customer service. Will be going back soon

2022-07-22I came to Sharifas for a Bachelorette party and it was a great time. Sharifa was so nice and personable. She made sure that our experience was a good one and checked in to on us as the night went on. The staff was just as friendly. When I go back to Augusta, I will be going back.

2022-01-19What? Why didnt anyone tell me Augusta was one of the best cities? I came into Sharifas Hookah Lounge & Bar and it was like an escape from work. Am I on vacation? It felt like it. Im going back every night and next time Im gonna try peach flavor and order a different wine.Also, if it wasnt for this place I would have never met my soul mate. Thats no ones business but I have to say thank you again and again for this wonderful place.See you on Friday!!!!

2022-03-27Hot, uncomfortable temperature throughout building. Owner would not adjust to accommodate guests. Outdated lounge furniture. The area for larger groups appeared to be multiple pieces of cushions from various old couches put together. Hookah was good, DJ/music was good. Not a large section of alcoholic beverages. Probably will not turn.

2020-03-07Owner and staff both are extremely awesome.... they let us play our songs as it we had a big group of peoples. MOD exchanged the flavour as we didnt like what we ordered and was very helpful in selecting the flavours. Very comfy love seats and sofas. Must visit ........
