I’ve been a customer at this location for years and have always appreciated the customer service and efficiency. Today, my encounter with Kiarra (sp?) changed all of this. She was rude and belligerent, and the manager didn’t seem to care. I was completely in shock. I won’t be back. It was unlike any retail experience I’ve ever had.
I would give negative rating if possible. Hope my lesson learned here help others. First of all, The UPS Store is a franchise separate from UPS, the actual carrier which everyone knows. UPS has no control of the pricing in these UPS Stores. They also take packages for USPS and Fedex. I shipped a package internationally, and chose the fastest option. I was charged almost 1300. Later on, I called UPS. Only at this point, I learned about the fact mentioned above. And UPSs representative said their charge for the same size/weight package would be 400+, with the same guaranteed delivery date, if I had shipped directly with them. To do that, I shouldve gone online to UPS website. These UPS Store pricing seems totally a scam. I can understand and accept certain premium/margin these stores would charge for the convenience they provide. But not like this. Maybe these are all widely known, but not to me. Hope this helps others.
Moving for work is an experience Ive been dreading, especially in the middle of the pandemic. I had a lot of boxes and they were a hassle to deal with, but AJ, the assistant store manager, made the process really easy and convenient. I honestly could not have asked for more.
Over charged at this store. We came in to ship a 2 lb. package that was 48 inches long, 5 inches wide and 5 inches high and the value was less than $99.00 to Dahlonega, GA. I had packed it and shipped many packages in this size box. We asked to ship it the least cost. This UPS store in the Woodlawn Square Shopping Center charged us $39.73. I went back to the store and asked the lady why I was charged so much just to send a 2 lb. package from Marietta GA to Dahlonega, GA. All I got was some BS. There were charges on the receipt of “Deliver area Surcharge of 7.75 and another charge of “Add’L Handing” of $20.35. She told me that the address was out of the Service area so had the $7.75 charge and the $20.75 was because my box was too long. She said she had not control on these charges that UPS added them. I went home and put in the size and weight and value and addresses in the UPS calculator on line and said the charge should be $16.75. If I were you I would avoid this store.
Many thanks to Chelsea at the Woodlawn Square store, shes a rockstar! Due to a scheduling hiccup, my husband and I waited for awhile for his business partner to arrive in order to get some documents notarized.As it was the last hour before closing time, we apologized to Chelsea (both of us knowing how the end of a day can be in a retail environment!) but she was super accommodating to us as well as the several other customers who came in while we waited - even knew some of them by name!This store is well-maintained and the services are very efficient...and if youre in the market for a hilarious greeting card, stop in because I had no clue their cards were so funny!Thanks Chelsea and The UPS Store team at Woodlawn Square!
Very disappointed. They forgot to put postage on my certified mail. My package came back to senders address. When I took it to them, they would not take accountability for it. They refunded my old cost but charged a full fee to overnight it. I would not have had to overnight it had they put postage on my mail first time. Very rude staff. Very poor service.

2022-03-06I would like to highlight the manager of this store, ROB (robert), he is a helpful, responsible and caring person, he patiently gave me a lot of help and helped me find UPS wrongly delivered mail. All 5 stars are given to him. If UPS hired more people like him, then UPSs service would be much better.

2022-03-10Tried dropping off a package this morning, but I guess I was early. I saw 2 employees inside, but the door was locked and even though they both looked up when I tried the door, neither one bothered to let me know when they open and they dont have store hours posted. The internet says they open soon, but who knows if that matters

2019-06-06When I need to ship large handmade items, this UPS location has proven time and time again to do a fantastic job. The recipients always comment on how well it was packed and there has never been damage. They continue to earn my business based on their consistent quality in packing, timely shipment, and courteous service. I would recommend this UPS location to handle packing and shipping needs. Thanks for the great work. It is nice to have the confidence that my items will arrive well packaged.Jim

2021-10-16I had the worst experience here. I had a package to return to Amazon and I asked the girl if she can print the label for me. She said that they charged me $3.18. This is ridiculous. Stay away from doing business with UPS. I will choose Whole food for Amazon return from now on.

2019-08-22This is by far my favorite UPS store. I had to research the best UPS store to fit my business needs, as I ship goods at least 3 times a week.Emily, the store Manager, assured me that this was the location for me. Chelsea, Malcom and even the newest member of the team, Corey, were all thoroughly trained on the specifics of my business needs. They are professional, courteous, efficient and make my job that much easier.This location is also very clean and has good parking.Five stars for UPS Store 4555!

2019-12-16I shipped a package of Christmas toys to North Carolina on Saturday Dec 14. The associate explained to me that the charge for assured delivery before Christmas about $38. I thought that $38 was high but she assured me that it was necessary to ensure delivery by Christmas. I consented to the charge. The fee include an $8 charge for an area fee or surcharge. I did inquire about the cost of shipping without the by Christmas guarantee and it was about $14. I feel that the associate was less than candid about the need to pay the enhanced shipping charge as the shipment was going to a destination less than 200 miles about 10 days prior to Christmas. IMO, the charge was inappropriate and calculated to take advantage of seasonal concerns about timely delivery. I will avoid this UPS location in the future.

2020-01-05Usually will not leave any google review but had to give a feedback on this one.Came here for notorization. The customer service was not good and the charge was 5$ whereas the same in the other UPS store located at the East Cobb next to Kroger was just 3$ and a different UPS store was just 2$/ notorization. Service was exceptional & quick in those UPS store.Will never come back to this location for any other services.

2019-10-31I have always had good service at this location until today!Sent a overnight envelope from this location and when the envelope arrived at the destination it was empty. It was sealed when the receiver got it! I did ask the manager at this location could he look at there cameras to make sure the package was not tampered with before leaving his store but no help. So I have filed a damage report with UPS corporate.

2020-12-16I don’t typically leave reviews, and I considered leave a 1 star. I gave it a 2 because while the service was slower it wasn’t awfully slow. Especially considering the holidays. There were four people working and all of them were grumpy. Rolling eyes at customers, sighing, complaining about taking breaks, and little to no eye contact. Really, if these were my employees I would find replacements. A lot of people need work right now, and these people don’t seem to appreciate what they have.

2021-08-19I called and Amanda took great care of me. I followed up with a visit in person and she was professional, delightful and I will continue to do business there. It made such a difference! Great environment and service!
