We had previously purchased 2 cars from Adam. Unfortunately he was tied up working with other customers so he had us working with Drew. Drew went above and beyond to make sure that we got as close to what we wanted on payment and we were able to secure a deal to get the vehicle that we wanted. We greatly appreciate all the hard work and dedication. Thank you again.
I was very pleased with my recent visit to the service department. The part we needed was waiting for the repair. The car also needed a 30,000 mile service which was clearly explained by Angie along with a quote. The work was completed in the time discussed and I drove away a satisfied customer!
Virgie Mitchell was fantastic to work with. She was so patient with me showing me tons of inventory until I found just the right Honda for me. I would highly recommend both Virgie Mitchell as a Salesperson to ask for and Shottenkirk as a dealership to invest in a vehicle with.
Fantastic experience! If you are looking for someone that listens and cares about your needs and wants and is willing to go the extra mile to make it happen, ask for Gavin Smith! He is the real MVP! Not only did he get me in the vehicle I picked out, he made sure I was comfortable with the deal and felt good about the terms! Thank you again Gavin!
Exactly the kind of service I want and expect from a Honda dealership. Shottenkirk Honda in Cartersville is a class act and they have great salesman like Bernie Black to work with customers. Thanks to Bernie and everyone at Shottenkirk for making car buying an easy experience.
I have been shopping for a vehicle (van) for almost a week. I have gone to 4 different dealerships and 3 carmax auto shops. In every dealership, Ive asked for an estimate sheet of payment, so that I could compare their pricing and services. Out of 7 stores, this is the only one that had a charge of 2495.00 for reconditioning fee of the purchase. They adjusted the price of the pacifica based on the carfax advertisement, but magically had an additional fee that no other dealership charge. The second issue was that a manager was confrontational with me because the vehicle that was being sold to me only came with one key. He said, All used vehicles usually do not come with 2 keys, and this one only has one key. It wasnt until I was starting to walk out that the manager agreed to provide me with a second key free of charge. Ive been buying used cars for a while and all of them come with two keys. The main reason I am walking away from this transaction is simply because of the reconditioning fee and the key issue. Removing the additional price of the vehicle and adding it somewhere else on the payment estimation sheet is sneaky.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!! I been up there 3 times and I have NEVER been greeted! Today done it for me tho for me to finally make a review. I called before I went up there and told them what I needed, I told them if they was too busy I can bring my car by another day. I was told no, to go ahead and come up there. So I went up there within 10 mins after the phone call. Long story short..no surprise, I did NOT get greeted. All the employees were just standing around… I finally spoke up and asked if anyone could help me, one lady said she would to give her a min, I stood there for about 20-30 mins and she NEVER spoke another word to me, neither did anyone else. Someone else parked and walked in and she went to them and started helping them, bypassing me. I hate this is the only dealership around me, or I would go to another one. All I wanted was to use my carwash certificate I got in the mail! That’s all!!!! I should been able to go in there and had that taken care of and not been pushed around! Unbelievable!
Had a very bad experience dealing with the salesmen there. I had gone to enquire about Honda Accord Hybrid because they had a couple of models available. They had already mentioned on call that they would charge 5k additional for premium packages (which are not required really). They mentioned that they would discount if we come to the center. When i came to enquire at the center they bumped up the price to 6.5k (which is exorbitant). No other Honda showroom went above 2.5k as additional packages or adjustments. And as a courtesy, they reduced 750$ on the 6.5k additional and claim this is the final price.I would say this is a way of scamming good customers. The salesman Tommy Malone was very rude when i tried to negotiate down the price and just mentioned me to walk away without allowing me to enquire more about other cars. At-least another saleswomen Virgie was honest and tried collecting more information to help us find the right car. This showroom not just lost me as a customer, but i would ensure that all my colleagues coming from overseas and planning to buy a Honda CR-V, will never ever go to this place.
Went and looked at a pre-owned car they had listed online. They first tried to act like they was doing me a favor by putting the price they had listed on the paperwork and then when I informed them that i would be putting $5,000 down and financing the rest through my credit union, they tried to add a $4,000 warranty to the paperwork. When I declined that and told them my credit union offered a warranty for $2,000 the sales manager acted like he was going to lose money if I didnt finance through their bank. This place is a joke and Ill never shop there again.
Bob is a very good sellsman and while I hadnt had the best experience with what I found with my first car I did appreciate the team doing what ever they can to ensure I am getting the best rate and price for my liking. Bob has definitely been every step of the way going beyond to ensure I was comfortable with what I was doing
Bernie Black sold me and my boyfriend a 2019 Honda Ridgeline. He was amazing in finding just what we were looking for in our price range and even helped me look for my phone when I miss placed it with my brain haha. Highly recommend Shottenkirk Honda in Cartersville.Go see Bernie and he will help you find what your looking for.
Drew Suslavich was our sales associate and he did a fantastic job. He was clear and concise about everything we needed to know and was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We truly appreciate all of his help and would recommend him and shottenkirk honda to anyone looking for a vehicle.
Dont buy a used vehicle here. The salesman said the car just needed an alignment, so we bought it on his word that an alignment would fix the issues......but after 3 alignments, a cross tire rotation, and 2 new tires.....it still pulls to the right. He misrepresented the problem and now we are stuck with a dangerous vehicle
Horrible Customer Service. I would never recommend anyone visit this dealership to buy a new or used car. The sales manager knew the vehicles were in demand and will try to snake the total value of the car thousands of dollars above MSRP. Please do not waste your time.
6/15/2022Here for an oil change. My experience remains consistent. Still 4 ⭐️s. For a full five, they’d have to really wow me.Previous:Overall, I’m really happy with the service and care at Shottenkirk. We bought my wife a new Honda a year ago. Not from Shottenkirk as they were closed that day. They graciously accepted a free oil change coupon from the other place. There is one specific time that they misdiagnosed a car issue on my daughter’s Honda. Thankfully, I got the right diagnosis at my local mechanic. Turned out to be a far cheaper fix. Like all car work, it’s crucial to get second opinions.
The service was exceptional starting with our salesman Adam Roberts. He was straight forward and very respectful. Never once did I feel pushed into buying a vehicle from him. My husband and I have both dealt with crooked salesman in the past, and will walk away in a heartbeat if we feel disrespected in any way. Adam, thank you for making our buying experience a good one. As a wife of a traveler, It truly means the world to me. If I ever feel the need to buy or trade in the future, I will not hesitate to come see you. Knowing that I can come to you without my husband being present and not be disrespected is HUGE! You are truly a blessing. If Adam leaves Shottenkirk Cartersville we will follow. He is our car salesman for life! Shottenkirk please remember, a dealership is only as good as their salesman. 😊
Id give 2.5 stars if i could.[Good] Salesman: Tommy was a friendly salesman and willing to communicate quickly and often to help negotiate. He was willing to help us understand the vehicle and get everything in order before we left after the purchase.[Bad] Negotiating price: We agreed upon a price we would buy the odyssey for. After agreeing they then said oh but you have to sell us your trade for thousands less.[Bad] Attitude: Pushy warranty sales at financing. How could they have gotten to 4 stars without giving me a better price? If they would have communicated clearly during negations (over communicated), not have been so pushy during the warranty conversation, it would have been 4 stars.Subjective piece: I didnt walk out of the dealership feeling like my business was truly appreciated. Make your consumers feel good.
I enjoyed working with Virgie in sales, she was very helpful and attentive. The Honda Insight I was looking for was difficult to find, but Virgie managed to work it out and get me exactly what I was looking for. A big thank you to Kevin in financing, as well, for helping me sort out an issue with my contract. Thank you!
2/26/22, went into Shottenkirk to purchase a CRV for our daughter. Hannah and Dana were very helpful. But when we told the dealership that my husband worked for Honda and actually built the transmission for the vehicles on the lot, the office manager was very rude and stated we dont give discounts for Honda employees, the market doesnt allow for it. I understand that we were a tough market, but not giving the respect for an fellow employee is not acceptable! We went to Toyota and purchased a RAV4. Maybe they should not supply Honda parts to that dealership, it being a bad market in all! Very snobby atmosphere.
I went in and got an oil change done in November. When they finished with my car they said that I needed a 450$ service done on my car to replace a “mid shaft bearing seal”. I took it to 3 other mechanics to get quotes for this service and every single person who looked at my car told me (meineke, Hughes, and Keith Russell, one of them even showed me and let me take video) that NOTHING was wrong with my car. On the day I went in for the oil change I went alone, and apparently this Honda dealership feels comfortable with taking advantage females who come in by themselves hoping they will take the bait. I 100 percent do NOT recommend this place for women, instead I recommend Keith Russell Automotive, He lifted my car and showed me what everything was and that nothing was wrong with my car. He runs a very honest and trustworthy business, unlike this Honda location. Do not go here.
I love Shottenkirk Honda! We’ve had our vehicles serviced here for years and have always had a wonderful experience.I finally decided to trade in my 2011 Honda and the process was extremely easy.Hannah was my sales representative and she did an awesome job. I was offered a fair price for my trade in and was able to purchase my new vehicle for a great price. Financing was quick and easy and Hannah even helped me clean my old car out and get my kids situated in my new ride.I am very pleased with my car buying experience. If you’re looking to purchase a vehicle, call and ask for Hannah.
Very disappointed in their customer service. We have purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership. In fact our relationship with that location goes back before it was Shottenkirk. A few weeks ago we started looking at used vehicles and they were unwilling to work with us. We called and ask Bernie to send us a printout of the final offer so we could review and make a decision and he said he would but never responded. I am just bummed. We like to stay local but ended up at Audi Marietta and bought a beautiful new. Car. The Audi dealership and salesman were on it and willing to work with us.
So I walked in today to get and oil change, And left with a new car. I don’t mean they swindled or messed me up with sales voodoo. They listen to my wants and needs and showed me a car that I would easily call my hybrid dream car. Then they worked with me to get the monthly payments to a number I was comfortable with and worked for them to still be in the black on the sell.Par none, the best car buying experience of my life.
We bought a car from these guys about 2 months ago and we just noticed that we have 2 different color rims on the car. Tried to give them a chance to fix their mistake but they would do nothing for us. I will never buy a car from these people again, they say they are in their customers best interests but yet wont do anything to make it right. As you can see this is the picture we took of the car the night we bought it and the rim on the front of the vehicle is stock and the one in the rear has been painted. Very disappointed with the way they do business. If you buy a car from these people make sure you over look it with a fine tooth comb
Shottenkirk seems to be a great place. They are willing to actually listen to your needs and see if they can accommodate you, they are responsive and take their time with you. Even if you are unable to move forward with a purchase, they do not make you feel bad about it, nor do they act indifferent about you not purchasing. When the timing and pricing is right, I will definitely consider them for my purchase.
Cannot say enough good things about this dealership. My parents were in last month to buy a used CR-V that they spent a lot of time looking for. I work in the car business so they were courteous enough to reach out directly to me and go over everything step by step to insure they were getting a good deal. Bob Corley their Sales Consultant spent hours working so hard for them. Jorge Ortiz the Finance Manager was kind enough to handle all of the paperwork and was very patient with us. And finally, Kevin Dowdy the Finance Director was so fair working with me and getting me the best deal for my mom and dad. They each had no problem picking up the phone and going over all the details with me. You guys really were amazing and I really appreciate you taking care of them on what will likely be the last car buying experience they will have!!!!
Watch for “market adjustments” as they can really make a difference in the price of vehicle, from what you’ve seen online, to what you’ll get on the lotDamion was fantastic, patient, a great guy all around. His managers were tight on the price ultimately pushing us to buy at a different dealer today, but that’s for the best.Ask for Damion!
This dealership has been one of the most terrible choices in doing business Ive ever experienced.Ill start from the beginning– I have time since Im currently in an freezing, empty parking lot with a car that wont start thanks to Shottenkirk.I took my 2018 Toyota in because the battery would die if I didnt drive it everyday, total problem. They say its because the battery is old and charge me $277 and cost 2+ hours of my time. Although inconvenienced and overcharged I assumed the problem was fixed.Flash forward only 2 weeks and my car is dead as a rock in less than 24 hours. I go through the trouble of another 2 hour appointment with shottenkirk, just for them to say the battery they installed had a bad cell so they replace it and I think NOW its over.WRONG. As I said, currently sitting in an empty parking lot after a long day of work with an inoperable vehicle... I thought I was paying for reliability when I spent money on a 2018 car and an extended warranty, in reality I bought a shottenkirk headache.I dont recommend this place to anyone.I shouldnt have to worry if my car is going to start.
If you want a service done and want to wait at the dealership, just make sure you are ready to spend half a day waiting. No where in the world does it take 3 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation. This happened to me for the second time today. Or maybe they just sell you a service plan when you are buying a car from them and then prefer cash customers over you. I don’t know what their problem is, but this is absolutely ridiculous. I wish i could give them zero stars.
Hannah was AMAZING!! She was patient and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles. She gave us detailed tours and showed us how to use all the features. She helped us find the vehicle that best fit our needs and budget! I highly recommend using Hannah!! She helped me get my dream car! 💕
Needed to comeback and update my review with actual comments instead of just 5 stars.Immaculate interior and friendly folks. One of the best if not the best car dealership we have ever dealt with.Michael Welch --top notch sales consultant. Wrote down what we wanted in a vehicle and found one that has our desired options. Will not pressure you and will work with you! Got us into a Honda Pilot (wifes dream car)Chris Csercsics -- one of the best service advisors Ive worked with. Took care of questions we had and quick to resolve any issues. The techs/advisors in that department are excellent.
From the moment my family stepped onto this dealership our representative Tommy Malone was the epitome of excellence and professionalism. He was extremely patient with all of our questions from beginning to end. I was hesitant to test drive a vehicle at first (45 arrive alive), but on my third test drive I fell in absolute love with my Honda Accord. Tommy was able to negotiate a great APR for something that my husband and I would agree upon. We couldnt have asked for a better representative, he even stayed overtime to make sure the car was serviced and to make sure we had everything we needed. This was a terrific experience, and I highly recommend that if you are looking for a great car to please go to this dealership and ask for Tommy, you will not regret it!
Avoid this place if possible.. 100% unprofessional .. not honest ..they promised everything until they make a sale .. Sales manager with careless attitude, sale associates will promise you anything to get the sale but nothing deliver ..definitively will not go back to that place .. and hope you all read reviews before entering this place ..good luck
I bought a car from here in 2015, I had a great experience when I bought my Honda but when I went back to get into a newer car, they kept giving us a different payment amount. I feel like they were not really listening to my needs. Then they started trying to make conversations about everything but what I was telling them. I will never be back again. Worst customer service. I dont know what happened over the years but I would not go to this dealership again.
Well I would give them a 5 star because they helped me with my first car purchase but with the dealer I talked to knowing that I have HIV and needed a car after the first one was totaled due to another driver and having the car note paid for in full of $19,000 check. They ensured me they have me in a new car just like last time just to have to walk 6.8 miles in 92 degree heat because they didn’t want to hold their end up. Nice to know people don’t really care unless you have money no matter what business you bring. Guys name was Andrew. Liars I tell ya oh did I mention he knew I was homeless as well? Yea people are a trip now a days.
We want to say a HUGE thank you to Hannah, Tori, Bernie and Ben along with everyone else we worked with over the last few days! They went above and beyond to help us get a nice vehicle ( which was a breath of fresh air after a horrible experience at a different dealership in cartersville). Their customer service is top notch, and it has a very family friendly feel to the entire place! The employees were very patient and kind ( even with a hyper 4 year old who wanted to talk their heads off) I would recommend everyone to go to these guys!
We came here and purchased a car back in October. We had a great experience! We worked with Gavin Smith and he was excellent and helped us get the price we needed payment wise and was very knowledgeable in the vehicles. Fast forward to now, Gavin sent us a thank you card for shopping with them. The professionalism and customer service is unmatched. We will definitely recommend the dealership and Gavin to our friends and family and will return when we need to trade cars again!
My experience here today has been great. I purchased a 2017 pre-owned Chevrolet Silverado with no problems. And my sales representative was Tommy Malone. Everyone needs to come see him. He was great. Very friendly, professional and quick. Answered every question and ran every number possible to make it happen.
Just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Tori Brady and Tommy Malone for helping my husband and I find the perfect car for our family on 1/29/21. They both were very professional, patient, and honest. They both made our first time car buying experience one that We will remember. I highly recommend them both and will definitely be a repeat customer in the future. Also, thank you to mason in finance for being so Thorough and getting us in and out in a timely manner! Thank you Tori and Tommy!
I had an 8:30 am for service. I arrive about 5 minutes early. There’s no one in the bay. I pull in slowly waiting for someone to come out. Not one the two women or 4 men did so. They looked at me and didn’t move from desks, or approach to ask if I needed help or to tell me someone would be out. If I wanted to be ignored, I’d try to talk to my kid.
Made a appointment for an oil change today for 9:00am and got there early. Was told it would be a hour and half to get to ours. 40 min later was told some other problems came up and it would be another hour before they start. Why have an appointment if you dont honor it. They also had our phone number but didnt call and tell us that it would be longer than expected. So like another guy said if you dont have half a day to spend there dont go!
I went to Honda today in search for a vehicle and the Customer service representative by the name of Kayman helped me out today. When I tell you he was awesome. I couldnt have had anyone better to help me out. Hes patient, kind, and extremely helpful. He took his time giving me the proper information I was looking for and helped get me a car suitable for my family and I. Keep up the awesomeness, every dealership need people like you. I definitely recommend Kayman. Thank you!
Drew was absolutely fantastic. Pulled into the lot thinking that me and my husband were just going to look and see how we liked the Honda Pilot. Drew found one in the color we liked that was a 7 seater. On the test drive, we stopped at the gas station to get gas; Drew went inside and took it upon himself to buy me and my husband both a bottle of water. Absolutely, love our Pilot!
My daughter and I came in looking for a pre owned car for her to drive when she gets her license. When we pulled up Gavin came out and showed us several cars. There was no pressure and he was very nice and professional, a great sense of humor too. He had me cracking up on the test drives. We chose the Jeep Cherokee. It was very nice but a couple of days later we realized it had some electrical problems. I contacted the shop and ultimately spoke with Ben Watts about the situation. He immediately tried to make things right. He provided us a loan car and put the jeep in the shop...actually several shops. Each time we got the car back, they thought it was fixed but over and over after we got it back had the same problems. After trying to fix the Jeep for several months we realized it wasnt able to be fixed. Ben kept his word and as he told me in the beginning, if theyre not able to fix it they would find another car for us in its place. One of the loan cars we had was a Honda HR-V and we fell in love with it. So of course that was our choice. Ben had the perfect match for us and we are so happy. Jimmy helped with the second sale and he was very pleasant and professional. He shared stories with me and I immediately felt like I made a new friend.I was worried Id be taken advantage of since Im a single woman that doesnt know much about cars. But I can tell you they are very honest and have integrity unlike any car dealership Ive ever seen!I 100% recommend Shottenkirk Honda! Thanks a million 👏👏Sincerely, Linda Caver
Beware of bait and switch!Priced on their site and CarGurus for x-amount of dollars so I called to verify and drove 1.5 hours to verify and drive vehicle. So after the test drive I go to get the out-the-door price and the is $1995.00 added in the form of a Reconditioning Fee for two tires and a battery. I balked at that and Used Car Manager said he would go half on that. I was told the vehicle would come with Shottenkirk Customer Care that would cover numerous things on the car but the most important was the Powertrain Warranty and A/C Repair, and I felt that was a great sales point. So the next day I get up the money and take a Lyft for the 1.5 hour drive because no one was available and the car is supposedly ready and I have cash in hand. Went over everything with the salesman with Shottenkirk Customer Care Warranty, the two BMW headphones, and that theyd have it detailed and ready to go. Well when signing the paperwork I was notified that they do not write a Powertrain Warranty and A/C Repair on this vehicle because it has a diesel engine, but then tried to sell me a $7000++ Powertrain Warranty. I should have walked our the and took a Lyft back home.So dumbfounded I ended up signing the paperwork left with the vehicle. Got home and found out that one of the headphones was not even one of the expensive BMW wireless headphone and does not even work with the BMW Entertainment system. So just know that the Used Care Salesman Managet adds Reconditioning Fees after the fact, the salesman says what ever to sale the car, and if you dont actually do your due diligence you be left swindled. Lesson Learned!
Came in to look at getting a new car, spoke with Adam Roberts who listened to what I was looking for and gave me some options. He did everything he could to get within the price range and options I was looking for and came up with a great deal to keep it local. Very professional and upfront. Would definitely come here again if I need another vehicle in the future.
Gavin, Nick, and Jason were absolutely fantastic and professional throughout the entire process on our purchase of our 2019 Passport. Not only did we get the best price in the country, we were treated the best out of any other dealership we communicated with looking for our perfect car. Each of these gentleman made sure we received the perfect vehicle for us. We were treated like family and friends, not just customers. I would purchase from Shottenkirk 10/10 times and recommend them to anyone in search of a Honda.
I went here just kind of browse for van that would be good for my wife that in a wheel chair. So my expectations was to find one but worries was how am I going to find one.the moment I came up there everette made me feel like a person. Did not rush gave me some options worked with long my budget and help us find what we wanted. Came back with my wife and bart I think his name is steeped in and help was so awesome staff is amazing God sent them to us was awesome. I would choose them anytime for car buying.
Gavin made my first time buying a car amazing. He greatly facilitated and offered tips in regards to financing and had a great sense of humor to making getting through the paperwork easier. You could tell he was passionate about cars in general, so while I didn’t know much, I felt confident he would steer me in the right direction. If Gavin is a representation of Shottenkirk, then it wouldn’t be a far shot to call this dealership the best around.
Kayman Sallee went above what I could have ever expected. He did everything he possibly could do to make sure that my fiancé and I found the right car. There is not enough I can say about how great he was to not only find the right car but a price to match it. By far the best experience I have ever had. This is the second car I’ve gotten from Shottenkirk Honda and it will not be the last.
**EDIT: I was able to speak with Richard Lewis personally. He explained that the Nissan dealership had not properly submitted the claim. He is resubmitting the claim so that I can be reimbursed. He said he had terminated some of the service tech employees that I had bad experiences with. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and will give them another shot. **I purchased a car, extended warranty and Shottenkirk Customer Care package. I specifically asked the night I purchased the car if they could service it even though is was not a Honda, they assured me they could. It was not true. Shottenkirk sends maintenance postcards and when you call to ask what the recommended maintenance is and the cost, you are told I dont know what the 30,000 maintenance is for that car. So why did you send me a reminder postcard? Anything other than oil or tires, Ive had to drive to another town to get my car serviced. So much for trying to support a local busines.Anytime Ive had to call for service, it has been an unpleasant experience. My tire pressure warning came on one morning a few months back. I called Honda to see if they take a look at it. The lady who answered the phone (not a service tech, not a tire person, just the person who answers the phone) said I couldnt drive it because the tire might blow out and cause a wreck. She was insistent that something bad would happen if I dared to drive a car with low tire pressure. I asked her what was I supposed to do, levitate the car there? Or would they like to send and pay for a rollback to bring it to them? In the end I drove it there and nobody died and no wrecks occurred. I ended up needing a new set of tires. Was told they would have them the next morning. Then they called at closing time to say they needed to know what size tire was on my car. You didnt check that when it was there? You couldnt look at the paperwork or specs to figure that out? I was driving home when the call came in so it went to voicemail. By the time I got home and called back, they were closed. I had already arranged for time off work so I spent a night wondering if they would even have the tires the next day.A recurring issue that popped up again recently is with my radio system. When I purchased the car, I was *strongly* suggested to purchase the extended warranty. The finance guy said It covers everything. Its the same as a new car warranty. ANOTHER LIE. My radio system (radio, nav, clock, Bluetooth connectivity) randomly goes out. It has happened 4 times. Sometimes it will come back on in a few hour or it might be a week or two. The Nissan dealership I always have to go to finally caught it on video and said yes this system is faulty and needs to be replaced. I have spent the last 8 days going between Honda and the warranty company, Ethos, about this. After it had been sitting at Nissan for 5 days, Ethos sent an inspector out. Since the system had come back on and the problem couldnt be replicated they have decided not to fix it, even though Nissan has a video of the issue. They have no problem letting a customer drive a car where a major system goes out with no rhyme or reason. So Ive spent 3 years paying for a warranty thats supposed to be just like an new car warranty and it is not.
Thoroughly impressed with the level of service I received. Service advisor Mr. Eric Staton made sure to take care of me every step of the way. Highly informative, and brought all prices to my attention and helped keep me in the budget point I was looking for. They washed my car for me as well!!This place is all about customer service - I live over 50 miles away and will pass up 3 other dealerships just to work with Shottenkirk of Cartersville. Keep up the good work guys!
I have a 2016 Honda Accord that started acting weird all the check engine lights come on I could never figure out what was wrong with it kept putting different parts on it when I would take it to the auto parts and have it scanned it kept showing different codes finally after spending about $500 on parts I took it to shottenkirk Honda where I bought the car had them take it in they scanned it and fixed it within 4 or 5 hours very professional and Im proudly to say that I am a customer have been for some years bought multiple cars just a great dealership
I was looking for a type R for months. So I called around and called Shottenkirk Honda spoke to one of the sales Alex Bearden. I never had a experience with a dealership like I did with Shottenkirk. Alex was a pleasure to work with. He was on and off the phone with me for months to get the deal I wanted. He never missed a step and never ever left me hanging. Even when the deal looked like it went south he would call to check up. Finally after 2 months we got it done. I’m a proud owner of a civic type R. I really appreciate the non bullying tactics. Friendly guy. Will buy a car from him and Shottenkirk again!
What a terrible experience. Highly recommended you take your vehicle elsewhere. I have been a repeat unhappy customer (most convenient option, silly me). Never had a good experience here (last time when I left it was immediately apparent they did something wrong by the way my car was driving. They fixed and it was quick. But still.) This time they recommended an additional service saying it would take an additional hour. Took closer to 2.5. I asked for a discount for my troubles (long story short I HAVE A BABY AND I AM VERY INCONVENIENCED AND UNCOMFORTABLE and would not have agreed to that). They said no. Cool. Thanks for understanding. They did offer me a free car wash. If I wanted to wait even longer. Ha.
I purchased a new Honda CR V and it was a great, no pressure experience! Alex Bearden was my salesman and he really worked hard to get me what I could for my Toyota that had extensive repair work done after a tree fell on it. Alex even drove the car to my house during this pandemic. I love the Honda C R V. Drives awesome! Also love that Alex set the phone and sound system up in it for me! Highly recommend this dealership.
Wow! I purchased a new car from Shottenkirk last Friday and dont have nearly enough good things to say about them! I worked with Gerald Johnson for my purchase (and spoke with Jeff Green a little bit) and he really went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. Ben did my financing & warranty paperwork and exceeded my expectations as well. Id love to share how these men came together to shape my first purchase of a brand new car.To start off, I am a woman under 30 (who really doesnt know much about buying cars) so I was a little bit weary about going to a dealership alone. Last Thursday my boyfriend accompanied me up there and it turns out, he wasnt even needed. Gerald walked me through everything and I was able to return the next day by myself to finish up the purchase. I was amazed at the quality of service offered to me. He knew I did my homework on my chosen vehicle and was very communicative about features I didnt find in my research. He respected what I knew and all of the hours I put in before I came to the dealership, and I really appreciated that.I would also like to note that I did visit another Honda dealership the next day, just to compare prices and look at another color of my vehicle and my experience there was absolutely terrible. They tried to sell me (I sold myself before I even left my house!), then wouldnt let me in the room to talk about what I wanted, they were rude and made assumptions that just werent true; I ran back to Shottenkirk! When I got back up to Cartersville, Gerald met me at the dealership and helped me with my paperwork. We made sure that I was getting a good deal for my trade-in and that I wasnt paying over my monthly budget... or for too long of a term! Once we finished up on the initial, he brought me back to Ben who really went through my financing options and showed me what I was looking at in terms of a warranty. He was fantastic. What really made the entire experience stand out though, especially compared to the last time that I purchased a vehicle, was the dealership as a whole. Everyone loved where they worked and it showed. I was impressed with them and it made it absolutely worth the drive from Bremen. I cant wait to go back to have my vehicle serviced for the first time and see these guys again. One last special shout out to Gerald because I know that he made sure I not only had a great purchase experience, but that Im also going to have a great ownership experience.I will never visit any other dealership - Shottenkirk is stuck with me for life!
Absolutely amazing place. We worked with Tommy Malone and he was the nicest car salesman Ive ever met. Many are uncaring or rude but he genuinely cared about what I wanted, talked to me one on one, didnt overlook my opinion or needs. He really tried his best to match my budget and got as close as he could. He was also amazingly friendly. Would 10/10 use them again for any future car purchases, especially Tommy! (Yes, I realize Id spelt it wrong. I have half a mind to keep it that way lol)
Lane Bonney. Remember the name. This sales guy was just amazing. Hands down the best salesperson Ive interacted with in my life. The dealership was very welcoming and accommodative. They made sure I left the showroom as a happy customer. I strongly recommend this to anyone looking to buy a new/used Honda.
Where to start? Shottenkirk is NOT your typical dealership, felt more like a friendly social gathering where some very important stuff was discussed back & forth but not sufficient to destroy the mood of camaraderie . Tommy Malone jumped in to help us when the original agent Chandler McDurmon, was ill and couldnt make it to work. Tommy was no pinch hitter, very knowledgeable, personable, and focused. We felt like we were dealing with an old friend we hadnt seen in a while, who meanwhile took EVERY ONE of our CONCERNS & NEEDS seriously and Solved Each & Very One. We arrived at 1:15.We left w/my wife driving behind me by 3:30, in her New Sienna Van, DEAL DONE! INCREDIBLE AFTERNOON. Great Dealership, Excellent Sienna Van, Exceptional Sales Professional
We have tried an internet purchase before but always ran into the same hassles, but at Shottenkirk we experienced the way it should be done. Tori our salesperson made it a painless experience. Not only did she know the CRV top to bottom she handled the sale professionally and with a big warm smile. She gave us one price and there was no back and forth. She delivered the car, set up the electronics, knew her paperwork and has been great on follow up. She made it a smooth process. The Chapmans
Tommy Malone is absolutely wonderful to work with. He made this experience a joyful day for us to buy a 1st car for our daughter. The dealership is nice, clean, comfortable and everyone was friendly. I definitely recommend this dealership and mostly Tommy!!!! Thank you Tommy.
We had a great experience at Shottenkirk Honda Cartersville Ga. Gavin our salesman provided 100% service. He answered all of our questions, we were very comfortable & never felt pressured. He is a very nice person.Darian Hall, the Finance Specialist, was extremely friendly, very informative, also a very nice person. Our overall experience here is a 10.
I drove an hour to this location, as soon as I park outside before getting out my vehicle I was pleasantly approached by ms Elaina DeJesus. I explained what I was looking for and the moment we walk inside showroom I fell in love with Honda Pilot on display. The associates and team members worked with me, I got a low interest rate. Previously my husband and I had purchased a vehicle from this location before, and I was pleasantly surprised that the management team and mr Mason Rigdon in finance department remembered me. They were all friendly, nice and pleasant to work with, this experience will be long remembered. Shottenkirk Honda is the place to go when buying a vehicle.
This is in response to the owner, Richard Lewis finishing Jayne comments. EVERYTHING that I have stated is TRUE AND ACCURATE AND MORE THAN FAIR. I have only stated FACTS AND WILL CONTINUE TO STATE THE FACTS unlike your response. Again, my vehicle had ZERO issues prior to be worked on by YOUR inexperienced technician. My vehicle dashboard lights WERE NOT flashing when the car was brought in. THIS IS IN FACT A LIE ON YOUR BEHALF. John asked my daughter to bring the car back because they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the car. I called back and spoke with John the next day to find out why the dashboard lights were all flashing, radio, backup and side camera were not working. He stated and I quote - that’s the reason we wanted you to bring the car back because the technician couldn’t figure what was wrong since it was working before. I explained to John that this was a major problem and need to be resolved ASAP, and he agreed. He also stated that it WOULD NOT be a charge since the issue happened there at YOUR shop while being serviced.I only deal with FACTS! Pull a copy of my phone conversation to John and you will hear for yourself exactly what was discussed. The bottom line is my car is inoperable due to the hands of your unsupervised inexperienced technician. Why is my battery not tied down? Why are my safety features disabled? Why is my radio not working? Why is my backup and side camera not working? You can hide behind the car was in a flood but my vehicle was personally inspected by the State of Georgia Supervisor andwas deemed in PERFECT CONDITION. Otherwise, the car could not beregistered in the State of Georgia. My vehicle was in perfect condition with NO issues beforeyour inexperienced technician performed the battery install. This is definitely a wake-up call for me. I strongly suggest people stay away from your establishment because you are nottrustworthy.Have you read the reviews regarding your servicedepartment? Word of advice - Read them....Everybody can’t be lying. As an owner, you should be trying to get to the bottom of what really happened instead of defending your technicians and Shop Manager - Tyler actions. I see why your service departments review are bad are deserving of ZERO stars.THIS DEALERSHIP IS COMPLETELY UNTRUSTWORTHY AND MANAGEMENT IN ADDITION TO THE OWNER WILL LIE EVERY CHANCE THEY GET TO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES THEY CAUSED.DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY WILL DAMAGE IT AND NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. THEIR WORK HAS DISABLED ALL OF MY SAFETY FEATURES WHICH HAS PUT ME AND MY DAUGHTER SAFETY AT RISK. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT YOUR INEXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN HAS DONE.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP and most of ALL the SERVICE DEPARTMENT. This has been the worst experience EVER IN MY LIFE WHEN DEALING WITH CAR REPAIRS. I will never do business with them again and will NEVER RECOMMEND them. I STRONGLY suggest you NEVER let them service your vehicle. If you need your car serviced, take it to another HONDA dealership that is trustworthy. I wish I had read the reviews before letting them touch my vehicle. I went in for an oil change and they determined the battery need replacing and I agreed to let them replace the battery. What is so hard about an oil change and replacing a battery???? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! I received my car back with ALL the dashboard lights flashing, radio does not work, backup and side camera does not work, and the security features have all been disabled. In addition, my battery is not tied down, so it is moving around and not stable. The dealership has not and WILL not cooperate in repairing my vehicle to the same condition when I took it in. They are not trustworthy and tries to manipulate the situation to their advantage.I completely understand the car was in a flood a couple of years ago. However, we have not had ANY issues before the battery was replaced by your technician and the car has been driving exceptionally well. Further inspection has revealed this is NOT a flood issue but rather pure negligence of an inexperienced technician who was obviously left unattended.I am warning all that if you are thinking about letting them service your vehicle – THINK again. THEY WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY SHOULD ANYTHING GO WRONG and I am almost certain it will. They rightfully deserve a ZERO star!!!
I will never do business with them again. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. If they do mechanic work for you make sure to keep the receipt because they will delete you out of the system and lie and cover their tracks. I also tried buying another car from them at one point and the salesman told me lie after lie after lie so I finally said screw it and left. Based off the other reviews you can clearly see their service department is absolute garbage. I will be going out of town from now on for my car needs.
We have purchased two Civics and now a Passport from Shottenkirk and they have always been top notch! Loved Darren in service—now that he’s no longer there, Tori took great care of my recent service appointment! On the latest purchase, Gavin, Ben, Chandler and Mason were all beyond great! Easy buying experience, they put up with my wishy-washiness like champs and we will continue to use their service department! Keep up the good work :)
I worked with Bernie, Adam, and Joe. It was the best car buying experience I have had since the 80s. Fast, courteous, and kept me informed of every step. Bernie does a great job and everyone went above and beyond to help me get in a nice car that I have wanted for a long time. Thanks
Let’s start from the beginning. I own a 2018 Honda Accord Sport which I purchase at Shottenkirk Honda in 2018 without any issues or complains until today. Please note that the Sport addition that I own did not come standard with remote start. After researching the internet my husband found out that you can purchase a remote start key fob, take it to a Honda dealership and they will program the key to your car and it will work. I then proceed to purchased my own personal remote start key fob online and had it shipped to my house. Once it arrived, I called Shottenkirk Honda and spoke when a gentleman in the parts department after explaining to him what I was trying to do, he then transferred me to Emily Lewis to schedule an appointment. I again expressed how I would like to program my recently purchased remote start key fob to my car. I showed up for my appointment today, gave them my key and told them I want my remote programmed to my card. They also stated that there is no guarantee that my purchased key will work but they will do the work and I will be liable for the payment to program it either way. Okay cool, let’s proceed with the programming. They did their thing and called me to inform me that my car was ready for pickup, with the good news that my key DID program. I return to pickup, and was told the cost was $250 for the key & service for them to program it. I had to remind them that I brought in my own key fob and I shouldn’t be charged. They remove the key fee and I checkout paying $150 for them to program. I was then handed a key fob that was NOT the key fob that I brought in. The key that was handed to me was a basic key fob that I already have 2 off. They expressed there was confusion on the tech reading the paperwork and blamed me for them not writing down to program the remote start, as they say I didn’t not tell them I was trying to program the remote start.. Emily Lewis argued back and forth with me as she told me the remote start is not available for my car unless I want to pay $1,400 for the system.. (no thanks). After 100s a reviews have expressed on Honda websites that the key fob programming WILL work. Anyways, Emily Lewis told me they tried to program my key, which didn’t work so she gave me a basic key on the house and saved me $100.. (um no, ma’am you aren’t saving me anything as I already purchased the key that I wanted programmed.) She also wanted to keep my remote start key as an exchange for the basic key as she was doing me a favor.. (um no) She finally said she would have my husband watch the tech program MY key to see that it would not work, my husband agreed to watch the technician program MY key. Might I add, MY remote start key was still in the wrapper, the battery was still in its own plastic never opened. They NEVER tried to program it. After the programming was complete. BAM 💥 guess what?! The remote start did work!! The technician apologized and was very nice and friendly. The service advisor was very rude and lied to our faces that they tried to program the remote when the package was never touched. She never apologized or tried to make it ok. Once she was notified she handed me the receipt and we went our separate ways.
This location offered me the least for the trade-in. My salesperson was kind and attentive, but ultimately didnt really do much. He took my information and showed me two vehicles. My parents found a third. I wasnt totally in love with any of them, but he acted like I should be deciding between the three. When I started feeling pressured I started to leave and he brought over his manager who also pressured me into buying a car I wasnt in love with. They said they had tons of cars on the lot, but didnt really take the initiative to find one that I really wanted. We took our business elsewhere.
The Catersville Honda service department was not very good. The younger Service Reps were very inexperienced and not very helpful. Tori told me there was no transmission fluid in my car so I paid over $100 to have them add transmission fluid but what I was told was not correct. I asked to talk to the mechanic but he was not there so I talked to another mechanic and they said it was only 1 quart low. Not sure why Tori told me it was empty. Also, the diagnostic test which was over $100 and what they told me was wrong was not accurate. I took my car to another automotive dealer and they fixed the issue for 3x less and the car sounds great now.I have been going to Shottenkirk Honda service department for years but I would not recommend going there. I know I will not go there again.
Normally I do not post message but this time I must. On December 15, 2018 I purchased a 2019 Honda Pilot from Shottenkirk Cartersville. After spending almost 6 hours to make the purchase I finally made the deal and signed the paper work. I have never had so many add on prices offered to me when purchasing a NEW vehicle. I left the dealership and then received a phone call that they had failed to have sign a document. I came in and signed the document and left. About an hour later I got another call that they wanted to change the lender and if I would come back in I would save some money. Well, I came back and signed the papers. While this was going on the finance person asked if I would like free oil changes for 5 years. Well of course I did. So I left thinking just how great a deal I had gotten. Well when I went over the paper work I found that I was charged $993 for maintenance, this was my free oil changes. I called the dealership and discussed this with them and they said that they would never do this but he would check. The answer was that they did not know who told me this but it was not policy. They then left me on the line and came back and said they would refund $450 if I would send them an email requesting the refund and it would be sent to the loan holder and applied to my account. After several weeks there had been no refund, so I emailed Mr. Dowdy and copied Mr. Lewis. Mr. Dowdy did not reply and Mr. Lewis stated he would look into the matter. After a few more weeks I asked about the refund, no response. To this day June 10th I have not heard a word from this dealership. Honda Vehicles are all the same it is the dealership that should make the difference. I will never purchase a vehicle from this dealer again nor will I recommend them.
Id like to thank Michael at shottenkirk for helping me get my first new car,a 2019 Honda accord. I came to the lot unsure at first as to what I really wanted, and he let me test drive several cars to see which one I was more comfortable with. I knew my credit score wasnt the best and I knew I I didnt have alot to put as a down payment but at the end of the day they found the best deal and monthly payments I can afford. I felt thankful and had the best car buying experience I ever had. I give 5 stars
I realized my tire was flat when I went to leave this morning, I put air in the tire and went straight to Shottenkirk. I was met at the door by a friendly employee, he took my keys and quickly discovered that I have a large nail in my tire. It was in a place that couldn’t be patched. They replaced my tire and I was on my way. I appreciate the great customer service and fast repair.
I purchased a brand new Honda Civic Type R from this dealership back in December 2017. We sold back our car to this dealership at following year ( December 2018). During our initial purchase, we also purchased a 3 year prepaid maintenance plan for this car. When we sold the car back, the prorated portion of the prepaid maintenance and difference on the sales prices of the car were to be refunded back to us. The finance director Kevin Dowdy stated the difference on the sales prices of refund check will come after Christmas time, because the finance department were off during the holiday. And the prepaid prorated portion of the maintenance refund check has to be submitted to Honda headquarters in Texas, taking four to five weeks. After 5 week, we still have not received both checks, I called Kevin again and follow up with him. He said I should receive those soon. I said: Thanks. Can I follow up with you if I did not receive them within next week? He said: Yes. It has now been 11 weeks, and we have still not received either check. I have called him and the dealership again and again, leaving many voicemails. We still have not received any return responses from him or this dealership. Please send us the refund checks as we agreed upon on during the time we sold the car to you.
No pressure from salesman but he was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle. Salesman was very friendly and really went the extra mile to provide great service right down to cleaning the windshield himself because he was unhappy happy with the way that it looked. Finance department also provided great service. Will definitely be returning for my next purchase!!
My wife and I had a very positive experience at Shottenkirk Honda. Our salesman, Miles, and Brett from the financing department were professional, personable, and willing to work with us. While we did not end up making a purchase, they respected our wishes and were both very understanding. If given the opportunity, we will definitely be back.
My initial salesman was unavailable when I was ready to purchase my vehicle. He texted Heather and asked if she would help me. She called and we spoke. I told her the vehicle I was buying and she had it in the front when I arrived. She was very helpful in getting me setup in the car. It has a lot more features than I am use to and she was very patient in showing me. Only reason I didnt give a 5 star was because I was disappointed in the extra price for an extended warranty and Shottenkirk Care Package. When I went on the website I got a feeling this was included in the price. That could have been all me, but would have been nice to see a disclaimer spelling out the extra costs. All-in-all I love the car and am glad to have gotten it from a hometown dealer.
I got to say the guys who run this dealership are stand up guys, honest and committed to doing what is right for the customer. My mother bought a car here a few weeks back and wound up unhappy with her purchase and had a bad experience (it was really no ones fault, they were under staffed on a Sunday). That being said Jeff, Emily, Ben and Kyle all went above and beyond to make sure the situation was handled correctly. They all exceeded our expectation as to what should happen and basically told my mother they would do what ever it took to make her happy and make her feel like this was a great buying experience. These guys are not just good at their jobs they are good people, the type of people you want to do business with, they have gained customers for life with my family.
Most deceitful set of people Ive ever met. They will lie straight through their teeth in order to trick you into purchasing a warranty you dont want or need. My husband is a mechanic and told them over and over again we did not want their warranty...Dennis, Finance Manager, basically told us the APR is determined by the Warranty and by getting it, it will lower our interest rate. That was a blatant lie. He basically strong armed us into getting it, fortunately we have a family member who works at a dealership, and explained how we were basically given a horrible deal. I have great credit, 4k down and ended up unknowingly paying sticker price for a car. They are very slick and use every tactic and play on words they can find. When in the office, the screen is tinted so you arent able to see all the info being entered into the computer (claiming to work on a deal). They will try to tire you out, so you will give in and say yes, just to be done with it. Fortunately we were able to go back and cancel the warranty. Stay away or if you do, please come with someone familiar with the car buying process because they will take advantage of you.
I bought a new Honda Odyssey at Shottenkirk this year and traded in my old Odyssey. The old Odyssey was sold at auction to a different car dealer. It was promptly sold and the new owner received a parking ticket and it came back to me as the VIN was still in my name. I contacted Mason who handled my sale and he was able to contact the other dealer who took care of the ticket. Appreciate the after sales customer service.
Absolutely avoid this dealership at all costs. My sales experience back in December was absolutely miserable, it took me the better half of a day to get out the door with a car. After all the trouble and complications I got when I was trying to buy a car, I dont know why I was surprised to come into maintenance and have an even worse experience. I got a flat tire on Saturday and called Shottenkirk Honda because I knew I had a tire replacement warranty that they basically shoved down my throat. The person on the phone told me to call back on Monday to see if they had a tire for me. So I called on Monday and they didnt have a tire for me but they ordered one and it didnt get there until later that night. The man called me back on Monday night and told me there is a tire at the store waiting on me. Of course after I take half of a day off to drive up 50 miles to get to the dealership they dont have the tire.To make matters EVEN WORSE...they had the tire. They decided to call me 2 hours after I left and drove back home.Do not use this dealership. Its sad that they can even take the label Honda on this dealership. Its honestly disgraceful.Edit: They also take the liberty of sharing your data for you. Thanks Shottenkirk! I love all of the scamming vehicle warranty stuff I get on my phone, my personal email, and my work email! Youre the best!
Heres my story. On a Monday I called around lunch time about a newly posted used Honda Odyssey that had shown up on the website. I was told by a salesman named Kevin that the van was available. I told him I would call that night before closing to confirm that the van was still available. I live about three hours away, as I explained, and I didnt want to make the trip unless the van was available. I called back on Monday night, and again Kevin confirmed that the van was indeed available. I told him that I would meet him at the dealership when it opened the following morning at 9:00. I rented a car, took a day of vacation, and left my house around 5:30 that morning. I was at the dealership when it opened. I met a couple of salesmen including the salesman I had spoken with on the phone. Around 9:10 AM, I was told there was an issue with the van. Someone else had already put money down on the van the previous day, and that person had priority over me. Unbelievable. I was told that I could wait around to see if the other person was going to come that day to get the van. This was an incredible inconvenience , not to mention the cost of the rental.I received a follow up customer satisfaction call from a lady who I explained the situation. I suggested the dealership cover the cost of my rental car, but I heard nothing back. I got a call from the general manager saying he was sorry. I do believe that he was sorry that this happened. Im sorry too. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this dealership for buying a used car.
Took grandson in to look at a car he had found. I had already heard bad things from a few people about this place but gave them a chance. Bad mistake!! Told our salesman after test drive that I didn’t want any paperwork right now. Told him I just wanted to know their bottom price. He said sure. I asked a simple question. What is your bottom price! He comes back with paperwork!! Then when I questioned him about it, he wanted to get smart with me. Had to get up and walk out before I really lost it. Worst experience ever at a dealership!! Avoid this place. We left and went to dealership in Kennesaw and test drove a car. I asked the same question, what is your lowest price? A simple question. They gave me a simple answer and we bought the car!
I highly recommend Shottenkirk! I bought a used 2015 Toyota RAV4 and I had the best experience. My sales woman was Emily Lewis and she is GREAT! I recommend asking for her when you want to buy your next car. I also had the pleasure of working with Kyle, the used car manager, and Alan, my finance man. They all created such a welcoming atmosphere that is so different from other dealerships. They care about the relationships with their clients and it shows in every employee that we met. Such a great dealership and I cant recommend them enough!!
Don’t waste your time. Wished I had seen other reviews before trying to do business with these people. Had a price provided and later that day when I was ready to buy they switched to a much higher price (+$1299) and wouldn’t sell at price I had in writing. Instead of handling professionally the sales manager Jason decided being rude and condescending was the best route. Promptly left and went to Hennessy Honda where things were handled professionally. I’ll never step foot on a Shottenkirk property again. Save yourself the trouble and start with Hennessy. I wish I had.
Overall, we had a good experience here at Shottenkirk. we purchased a used Chevy Equinox, the next day we noticed a strange sound in the steering. we took it back and they gladly fixed the issue at no cost to me. the wheel bearings needed replaced. after the fix, it had a popping sound coming from the same side. we took it back and they fixed the issue in under 15 mins. everyone in the shop was very courteous.this would have been a five star but these issues should have been fixed before the purchase.also, you have to play pretty hard ball with some of the dealers. they didnt want to budge on anything but will if they know where you stand.very happy with my purchase!
I am considering filing a complaint against this company for false advertising. They charged me 10% over invoice price without me knowing it. I reached out to the general manager only for him to ignore me. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SHOTTENKIRK HONDA OF CARTERSVILLE. Dissatisfied customer: Melissa G.
I am IMMENSELY impressed with the service my boyfriend and I received at Shottenkirk Honda. Our Salesman (Michael) was nothing short of PHENOMENAL! He answered every question we had with clarity, understanding and was beyond patient. I am extremely grateful for this experience and I WILL recommend Shottenkirk Honda of Cartersville to anyone who mentions to me that they too are in need of a vehicle. We were able to give specifics as to what we were looking for and Shottenkirk Honda did not disappoint us at all. Some people have a knack for this line of work and Michael DEFINITELY proved to be an asset. Thank You Shottenkirk Honda of Cartersville.
They didnt honor my warranty on my damage tire, I had my car inspected the day before at a private mechanic that has been around a while with very good ratings... because of vibration in steering wheel. they check my CV joints and seals and fluids and reported all was good with my car, even took it off the rack and didnt charge me dime for checking my alignment , Honda handed me 2,000 bill stated I needed all the things the other location said I was good on....Really disappointed, the service center doesnt deserve the great car sale people they have. Clark Howard is called...I hope they exposed this place for the rip off they prove to be in my case. .... I did reach out to MR Lewis and provided documents and never got a call back to make this right..
I drove from Loganville to purchase my daughters Honda Civic. The GM treats you like family. I called back a month later because she lost her floor mate and Richard the GM replaced it for her. I recommend them over other Honda dealerships because of him alone. He calls back and doesnt make excuses. Thanks for a pleasant buying experience!
STAY CLEAR FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! I recently bought a used car from shottenkirk Honda and after five days of owning it the check engine light appeared on the car. The sales manager Ben was extremely rude to me calling me a liar because I told him the service advisor Angie said that the charges to fix the car would be covered. then I spoke to the partial owner of the store, Richard, and he informed me that hes not fixing the car and proceeded to kick me out of the show room, upset much Richard? Honestly if your looking for a new Honda or even a used car I would not go here, the people are unprofessional and it makes Mr. Shottenkirk himself look bad for hiring such incompetent people.
Called to arrange for an oil change and was advised to come right away as it was slow! How great that was. Did not have my coupon for a discount on the oil change, but the service rep gave it to me anyway. Also needed a full alignment on my Odyssey. So all that was done and I was out in less than hour. Could not have received that service for the price anywhere else. Awesome service in every respect.
Ive never been treated so nice at a dealership before. They did everything so that I was pleased. They made sure that we got the vehicle we wanted. Everyone was very professional and me & my husband are very happy & satisfied. We will definitely tell everyone where to go for great service,& will return prayfully in the future.
The experience of buying my car and the first year of having my car and having it serviced was wonderful. But now that I’ve had it for more than a year they are stating other maintenance needs to be done, transmission and what not. I did get the extended warranty and the finance man told us verbatim that we are only responsible for “putting gas in the car and any body work that needs to be done but the warranty covers everything else.” Apparently the finance man just lies to you to seal the deal because I dropped my car off an hour ago for my regular oil change and the service man told me that I was due for some other maintenance as well, like my transmission something(can’t remember what he called it) and I said okay as long as it’s covered under my warranty, and he said that only oil changes and tire rotation is covered under my warranty???? So I told him what the finance man said whenever I bought the car and he made a face like he was surprised I was told that!!! Then I asked how much it would be if I paid out of pocket for it and he said $425. HA! Very very disappointed and frustrated that I pay extra for a BS warranty. I expect a call or response from management to get this sorted out ASAP because I am one very UNHAPPY Honda owner with a BS warranty.
I am sitting in the service waiting room right now, for 2 hours waiting to get an oil change and tire rotation. I called before i came to make sure they would have the parts. They told me after 8 am would be fine. I arrived at 9 am. Its 11 am and I still have 20 minutes to go according to the service department. And when I went to ask them when my car would be ready the young man in the service department said he would go check and 15 minutes later I had to go find him again because he never gave me an update. This is the 3rd experience with the Shottenkirk family of dealers. The first was my purchase, at the Canton location, which was mediocre at best. I didnt get the floor mats that go with the vehicle and when i asked for them, the salesperson told me they werent that good and I should just buy some from a store. They also refused to fill the car up when I purchased it. We drove on fumes to the gas station to fill up our brand new car. They didnt even bother to put wiper fluid in it. The second experience was the first oil change and tire rotation, which is free at the dealership you get the plan. I waited about and hour and they apologized and told me to call in advance next time to make sure they had the parts.I do not recommend the Shottenkirk family of dealerships based on these experiences, but if you do purchase from them, at least save yourself some money, (and hassel) and dont get any service packages from them. So frustrating.
I am very pleased with the service I received from Shottenkirk Honda. Very pleased with how quick and easy it was to just pull up and have someone immediately greet you, take down your information and get the service completed on my car.. after I came and picked my car up the gentleman taking care of my car explained everything that was done and what I need to do in the next couple service days. Very friendly and professional .
Worst high pressure sales experience that Ive had in a very long time! The manager kept trying to talk to us and get us to tell him what we were looking for even after we told him that we were just looking today and wasnt planning on buying. He kept pushing us, until finally I told my son to go get in his car and leave, and I turned and walked away also. He followed us continuing to talk. It was extremely uncomfortable! Weve bought 3 Hondas from there, but I probably wont buy a 4th. Looks like Toyota may get my business next time!
Id taken my car here on two seperate occasions and I was immediately ignored as if my presence wasnt of any concern. Customer service was extremely rude. Instead of tending to my needs, I was forced to seek whatever help I could get. Finally, someone decided to help me as if it was THAT hard to do. After waiting 2 hours for a diagnosis check I feel like i was over charged for the repairs needed. Another time was to get some repairs done. When I get in my car its still in Drive, as if the mechanic stopped the car and turned the engine off without putting it in park. Wow. Are they trolling me? I complained about it and the rude customer service only tried to placate the situation instead of apologizing and fixing the problem. The manager was moderately considerate. Another complaint was with my sound system. The mechanic rearranged the wiring for whatever reason. Why am I being treated this way? What an experience! These people are so inconsiderate and very insensitive and that makes it difficult to trust them. Id be wrong to pull the race card.
I will not buy again from a Shottenkirk...I will drive great distances to get my Honda in the future. Gave second star because I should have checked and walked out when I saw. Unfortunately didnt see till I got home and was so upset I could not talk to them. If I had checked, they would have gotten one star.I bought a car 3-4 months ago and just now able to speak of it. Great salesman as he texted with me. But really he is just a gopher, they did the dirty work behind the scenes. I had asked for an out the door price. I said exactly, I need the price I will write you a check for. We arrived at that price with no problem. I trusted them as I believe in buying local. Told them I would bring a check for the car but they talked me into financing there with the same Credit Union. All they wanted to say was what my payment would be. When we got to the paperwork, we ran through it with me signing. Then they kept on trying to sell me maintenance. When I wouldnt purchase the maintenance, they called in another guy to talk me into it......I finally gave in and bought, it was more in the paperwork than what they quoted me. My out the door price and the check I was to give them ended up being about $2500 more than we agreed on. The only reason Im giving 2 stars and not 1 is because part of it is my fault. I should not have trusted this group of people and checked each number on the paperwork. I should have went to my own bank and got a check for what the dealer agreed on.Sadly.....I will go to another honda dealership next time because this is shady business practices. I didnt even try to get a great deal on the car, just something reasonable as I want my community businesses to prosper. I am ashamed this dealership is in Cartersville GA.I am old enough to know better and should have looked at each number on the paperwork. This is why I added a star, my ignorance in trusting this car dealership.I am not saying to go somewhere else, I will, but I am saying, if you shop here, do not believe a word they say. DO NOT HANDLE FINANCING WITH SHOTTENKIRK. Have them give you the price of the total and force the issue that you will bring a check for what they tell you. I did force the issue but gave in because I wanted them to have the financing business. DO NOT let them talk to you about payments....only discuss how much you will bring them for the car.DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING OUTSIDE THE PRICE OF THE CAR! This is where they add money.Summary on how to buy at Shottenkirk.*Do not finance there*Do not purchase maintenance*Work with who will sell you the car - the salesman actually doesnt he is a gopher they use.*Get a total price for car, all their add ons and taxes title what I had told them and they did but didnt ahdere to.*Get financing in town and take check to Shottenkirk and get your car, never go back there again.Ashamed of them for unethical practices in our great town......and myself for not checking paperwork and walking out on it. Partly my fault...I feel like an idiot for shopping there..dont let this happen to you.I buy Hondas......all future ones will be purchased elsewhere with dealers not affiliated with Shottenkirk. For my great town of Cartersville, you give them a chance....just adhere with what I told you.
I went to Shottenkirk Honda a couple of months ago after my daughter in law bought her CR-V there. We had a couple of issues in the beginning but Emily, Ben ,Jeff as well as several others went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. This group will go well beyond what you normally will see at a dealership to make sure the customer is happy. Great dealership. Have recommended to several friends already.
Good experience overall. Service was not prepared for my visit, even though I called a week in advance to schedule. I was told there would be a loaner vehicle for my use and when I arrived, I was told otherwise. They were able to work this out however, the initial phase of the visit was frustrating. The car was to be complete in one day. There were items that were not completed on time and therefore, they kept the car an extra day. Overall, the costs were as expected and the car looks great. Just wish the promise had been delivered more efficiently.
I just what to say A BIG THANK YOU to the service manager Tyler Bone for replacing my stress cracked windshield under warranty when Pye Honda would not. You will be seeing me more and will being getting all my business. Cartersville Honda is always nice, friendly, and willing to do the right thing. I would recommend anyone wanting to purchase a Honda to go see you first. Again thank you so much!
My wife and I just bought a used Honda Pilot from Jeffrey Green at Shottenkirk Honda of Cartersville. We live 300 miles away, never drove it or saw it in person. Jeff test drove it for us and told us it was a solid vehicle. Jeff had it delivered to our doorstep with all the paperwork and we couldnt be happier with the car, level of service, professionalism, and eye for detail that this company provided. I highly recommend contacting Jeffrey Green if you are in the market for a new or used car.
I have a 2007 Honda Civic. I have taken it to the Cartersville Honda for the past 7or 8 years. I have always taken it there for oil change and service. The last 2 times I took my car I was told I needed brakes. The first time I bought brakes and asked someone to put them on for me. That person (not associated with Honda) told me there was nothing wrong with my brakes I went to the Cartersville Honda and told the service manager. I was assured it wouldn’t happen again. I didn’t feel he believed me because he kept making excuses. (The service manager).I took my car back months later for an oil change and was told I needed brakes again. This time I took my car to a master mechanic and paid them to check my brakes. The mechanic told me my brakes were good and didn’t need changing. He even took pictures of my brakes.I went back to shottenkirk Honda asked for the owner and the service manager. I sat down with them both and told them about both experiences ( this was the service managers second time), of course I get the oh-hum.Well the part owner asked if I would let them put it on the rack and check the brakes themselves. I was happy to do so. We all went back with the car, they put it on the rack and checked it.GUESS WHAT!!! It DIDNT need brakes. All I got was we are sorry. No one has touched base with me since. I’ll NEVER trust them again. The worst part is the more people I tell the more I’m learning about the service there.I was going to buy a new Honda SUV this year. But I bought a new Telluride from Kia!!All I’m saying is BEWARE!! They are not looking out for you!!!Oh yes, my neighbor told me he went by Shottenkirk Honda, and while he was there he said he said something to the same part owner about my situation. He told me, he was told it was a miss communication!! Wow!!
If I could give this place no stars, I would. I came in because a tire they sold me got a bubble in less than a month of driving on it. It has now been more than two hours of my car sitting up on the lift and NO one doing anything because they cant find a tire. In A TIRE DEALERSHIP. What I guess is that they cant find one of equal or less price. I bought my car here. Ive gotten it serviced here. But every time I come in, I end up paying hundreds of dollars that I didnt expect. This place is the worst and the service SUCKS. Dont come here if you value your money or your time.
This is the second car that I have purchased from Shottenkirk. I purchased a Honda accord in 2017 and when it was totalled in an accident I went right back to this dealership to get another one. I could have gone to any number of dealerships between where I live and there but I passed all of them because of the level of customer care I received at Shottenkirk! If you are in the market for a car and live within 75 miles of Cartersville, you should go there! And tell them I sent you so you can get a good deal and I can get a $100 referral bonus!!
Terrible! Bought my car here and it’s been nothing but a hassle having service work done. Communication is terrible. Trying to get warranty work complete is like pulling teeth. Need a new battery under warranty? Don’t count on it, they don’t keep them in stock?? Instead of swapping the battery out with a new car, (hundreds on the lot), they’d rather you wait 3-4 hours for the part to come in. Never again will I buy from here.
Bought a used 2017 Accord. Since it was certified I thought it would be in great condition. Turns out that not only does it need 4 new rotors and pads (estimate is $1140 at another dealership) it has extensive rust underneath. Called them and still waiting for resolution
This is without a doubt the nicest Honda dealership that exists around the Atlanta area. Sales are great! They will give you the total out the door price and is willing to put in writing. Try to get that at other dealerships, you can’t get it! Service is fast and efficient. You will like this place!
I drove from Salem AL to Cartersville GA to buy a truck based on the word of a salesman. That should speak volumes about the sales team at Shottenkirk. Richard Lewis should be very proud (and I know that he is) of the team that he has working for him. Great group of people that didnt push to get anything done, but went out of their way to make sure the experience was a great one!If you are a Veteran, active duty, LEO, etc, get over to the dealership and say hi to Richard. The man is awesome and is going to make sure that you get what you need, and his team are going to do everything that they can to get you squared away. I will go back when I am ready for another deal.Robert Frost LinsleyCo-founder/CEO 2828 incVeterans Resource and Outreach
We have purchased 2 Honda pilots in a little over 13 months. Both have been the easiest car buying experiences possible. Jeff Green and his team were able to not only get us the vehicle we wanted, but to also make all the necessary modifications to the vehicles. Mr. Greens staff made sure our vehicles were exactly what we asked for, and when we were unable to get to the dealership for the second purchase, he had it delivered right to our door. The team at Shottenkirk Honda definitely knows how to treat their customers, and has earned this familys business. If you are in the market for a Honda, I suggest you give them a shot.
‘‘This is is finishing Pam Sanders comments.this is a small amount of my meeting with Richard who I now know is an owner. I felt intimidated and verbally attacked. No I didn’t pay for the repairs but Honda did. I was lucky. At this place you can drop your vehicle off for an oil change and when you pick it up you may have a new motor. What I understand is if you sign the permission slip for a parts verification the dealership doesn’t have to call when they do other work. The part I had replaced has a 1 year warranty at Honda my part had a two year warranty. Any where in the USA.
If youre a DIY driver and wondering which Honda dealership to go to for all your parts-related needs, this is the place. Fair prices, and Dustin Waits will treat you right. I needed HCF-2 for my 2015 Accord Sport as well as a couple of keys cut. The price of transmission fluid was comparable to the cheapest listing on a popular discount Honda parts site once you add the crazy shipping cost associated with the discount site. Considering I went to a dealership for Honda brand fluid (never cheap, but always worth it), got a couple of keys cut professionally (the last time I had a key cut, I was in Dalton at a locksmith, they charged near $75 for one key and it was very rough and my car rejected it instantly), AND he tossed a single crush washer my way for my engine and transmission each... Im a very happy customer! Thanks Dustin and company!
I brought my car in with an intermittent problem and the service department was incredible. Not only did the service manager listen to my issues, she arranged for the head mechanic to ride around with me in the car to duplicate the problem. After 15 minutes of driving he heard the noise, took the car back to the shop and was able to fix it.
Everette hall horrible, everyone there at the dealership is a liar. They are money hungry and won’t help with tag or title info. Completely distasteful, it’s embarrassing for Honda. George will print an temporary tag yet his position finance manager when PAULA IS charge of tag info. Do not risk going there.
I had a great buying experience at Honda Carland North! There were no high-pressure sales tactics and I felt very welcomed by the staff and the salesperson I worked with. Kevin Green was very helpful and honest throughout the entire process. I didnt feel as though his only goal was to make me buy, but instead to help me find the right car for my family weather it was on his lot or not. I feel the price was very fair and the entire process could not have gone any smoother. Thank you Honda Carland North!
My 06 oddessy was brought in to verify outsider work was done for reimbursement of a recalled part. What was supposed to be an 30 minute app turned into our leaving the car because Honda is in a different time zone. The next morning it was taking a long time to bring our car around.we were told the repair was almost done. What repair? Tyler (service manager) came in and told us that he didnt feel safe with the non Honda part ,so with hondas approval he replaced the part. I was upset we were never called, how can you make that kind of decision on my car? He then told us dont worry you will still get all your money back. I still didnt understand why we werent called.i asked for the part ,tyler told me to return the part go on eBay and sell it, I told him that wasnt right. I couldnt get Olivia (Honda) to return my calls I still want to know why they worked on my car without calling.after weeks of Tyler helping me try to get a hold of a Honda rep,I called for a appointment with the general manager Richard Lewis. when I sat down he started telling me why I was there.he then proceeded to tell me that we need to talk like humans and explained how to act like one! Next he couldnt understand how I drove 50 miles after I picked my car up . His voice is getting louder. I was getting confused over things that he was saying I said maybe it was over the weekend that the car was brought as soon as I said that I knew the car was brought in the day after it was picked up.richard began calling me a liar. He now is very agressive and loud.as we talk every thing I saw Im told how I lied before.i told him again you didnt call us,of course Tyler denied that he said we would get our money back he would help us.i was then showed a form my husband signed the basic form you sign dropping off a car. Richard said my husband gave permission when he left but Honda was closed then my husband came back and signed I got my husband on speaker phone he only gave permission to verify part.richard is on a full rant now hes going to help me because hes a good guy and can sleep at night, how can I sleep at night when I am ripping Honda off trying to fix my old car.hes going to tell Honda not to pay me. He has said he sorry several times him Tyler and the dealership but never for what. I dont remember if I asked him to stop yelling or said I didnt appreciate him yelling.his reply Im mad and I wont stop yelling Im told Ill tell my friends family and anyone else how bad the dealership is since I had already written a comment on line insulting his staff. That never happened.im still a liar.
I searched high and low for a good dealership without any luck until I came across this one everyone here made me feel at home and comfortable with my purchase. Especially the salesman I dealt with Gavin Smith If your interested in purchasing a car I highly recommend him and this dealership.
Took my car in for an airbag recall, a one hour repair according to the paper work. This was the closest dealer at a one hour drive away. Dropped my car off on Thurs or Fri and they were swamped so I offered to pick it up later. They said it should be Saturday and I told them that was fine, that I just needed it before noon on Monday. Monday comes around and I go no call so I called in and was told my representative was not there so I had to leave a message (crazy that you cant just talk to anyone in service to get an update but it has to be the person you dropped it off with??) She called back towards the end of the day and I let her know it would now be Thur before I could get it as I worked on Tues and Wed. I get there Thurs and notice the air vents had been broken but then carefully placed back straight as if they were never damaged, like they did not want me to find it until after I had gotten it home. So I went in and told them they broke my vents and was told the part would be overnightd and they would have it ready Fri before noon. No apologies or anything. I go to head out the door Friday at noon and get a call that the part will not be there for another week, the next Thursday. I asked to speak with the manager, Tyler, and although he stayed on top of the part shipment with updates and followed it through they again never once apologized for the time I had wasted driving an hour each way to get a car that they damaged and tried to hide the damage on nor did they ever say they addressed the employee working on it or anything. I did get an apology when I picked it up, but only for the fact that the battery issue that I had did not fall under warranty. I let her know that I was shocked to receive an apology for that, an issue they offered to look at and I did not suggest, but not for them damaging my car and hiding it. So, I picked my car up two weeks after I dropped it off for a one hour repair and all I got was a whoops, her you go. Will not return.
We had such a great experience here. Mr. Danas personableness and warmth is what ultimately brought us back to buy here. We went to 4 honda dealerships and 2 Toyota, and he and the friendly people here helped us decide to drive a little further and spend our hard earned money here. We negotiated diligently and in the end we sincerely believe that we got a great deal. I really cant think of anything about this experience that was bad...I mean we did spend thousands of dollars, but boy oh boy, what a sweet ride we have now and are totally enjoying it. Thank you Dana, and team for the kindness and work you did for us. Well be back-not only for the routine service plan, but whenever we may need another vehicle, well likely start there and avoid being disappointed at other dealers.
I just wanted to thank you for your kindness on 05/25 in helping my wife and I procure our 2020 HRV-EX. As I stated outstanding customer service goes a long way, in this case 4 years, since I first spoke to you and Emily ( I ended up purchasing a Toyota). I remembered how I was treated by Emily four years ago and your kindness. My wife and I could not have been happier with the way we where treated by Emily and Mr. Damian Hall. Both went Above and Beyond and are a true assets to Shottenkirk Honda. I even had the pleasure of speaking to Ms. Angie Angel in Service this morning. Our HRV is missing the Shift Lock Release Slot tab, Ms Angel offered to mail the tab to me instead of me having to drive back to the dealership to pick it up. As long as my wife and I own the HRV it will be serviced at Shottenkirk Honda because of your Outstanding Staff.
My hometown Honda dealer! I have used them for service on my previous Honda vehicle for several years, and after selling it via a private sale, I found a used Honda Pilot I liked at Shottenkirk. My experience purchasing the new to me Pilot was awesome....I was treated like family from start to finish, in spite of my purchase not being the most expensive! Tina & Dana (sales), Wayne (service), Patti (reception), Ryan (finance) and Chuck (manager) made me feel like the most important person of their day. Thanks, yall!!

2022-04-13If you are looking for a completely different car buying experience, come to Shottenkirk Honda! I have always hated the car buying “game”, going to dealerships and the whole general experience, but my husband loves nothing better than to spend a spring day on a car lot. We have just bought our second car from this dealership and again, it was a pleasant process. The team whom we worked with (Terry Ford and Tommy Malone, along with Jason, the GM) were so accommodating, transparent (yes, they were willing to lay the truth on the table) and very fair. I felt like my time was valuable to them as well. Our deal was unique and risky. We had a trade in (the car we purchased here in the past) which was highly desired. We received two letters with offers which seemed too good to be true. We came by, asked about the letter and THEY HONORED THE DEAL! We were floored! It was risky because the car we were sold hadn’t arrived on the lot. Not only did the car arrive sooner than promised (instead of two weeks it arrived later that day), but the new car was more than I hoped for. What an incredible experience, even for someone who really despises car shopping!

2022-04-21Our salesman, Bob C., is amazing!!! He made us feel totally comfortable during our entire buying experience! He offered us options we didn’t even know were available. We have bought from him before! And, we will continue to buy from him in the future. The new car buying experience was comfortable and easy! I really appreciate his efforts to make me feel more comfortable. I don’t particularly like car dealerships.

2022-02-11We bought a Honda Pilot in 2017 - our Salesman Everett Hall is a diligent, thoughtful person. To the extent of calling on our birthdays and anniversaries. Angie in service was our most consistent rep and she could not have been better to relate with. Tyler the Service Manager, leads the team well. Early on after our purchase, we experienced a common radio issue - Tyler, Angie and Richard Lewis (MNG) worked together to resolve it, it took a while to pinpoint but it was resolved. In the fall of 2021, we had a mechanical issue that like all things mechanical are unplanned / accident prone. As stated earlier, this same team, worked together to resolve it. While it was not a covered Honda repair item. Mr. Lewis graciously worked with me, in that we both shared the repair expense. My net review - since 2017, I drove almost an hour for the regular service. Angie/ Tyler were always gracious and diligent.Mr. Lewis, I do believe is sincere in his leadership and client retention.

2021-09-15On 8/30 I went in to look at a car after setting up an appointment with Tommy Malone. After looking at the car my wife and I were interested in that model, but not the price tag of that actual vehicle. Tommy was able to work the payments into our budget with some help from the manager, Nick. After completing the finance process with Darian we were able to complete the deal. We love our new Honda and still feel as though we were given a fair deal. If you’re up front with them, they will be up front with you. Amazing customer service all around.

2022-08-06Really nice dealership. They were honest and upfront with the price of the car, the value of my trade in and everything. I’m very pleased with how well they explained the features of the car and made sure I understood it all. They’re easy to find - right off 75. Great place for all your Honda needs!

2022-08-08I had a great experience here during my car shopping. Everette was awesome!!! He was kind, honest, professional, and explained everything in great detail to us. He answered any questions that I had and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. If you are ever in need of a car and go to Shottenkirk Honda, ask for Everette!

2022-06-24Gavin was great getting us into a car that met all of our needs. He worked hard to get the best trade in value and kept our payments where we wanted without the mess of haggling back and fourth! Great experience and will be back for future vehicles!

2022-07-15Gavin is a great salesman! I’ve bought 2 cars from him now and he doesn’t push too much on all the extras. I just need a good, dependable vehicle for my family, and Gavin has done me well both times. Highly recommend buying from Shottenkirk and Gavin.

2021-07-15Edited: We purchased a used 2020 Kia Telluride here last week. We knew it was used and we knew it would come with imperfections. We asked that if he detailed and they said it would be before we took it home. I suppose detailed to them means half way vacuuming the floor mats and rinsing the exterior as the next day we lift the seats and find broken crayons, gummy candy, chocolate, and crumb galore in every crack and crevice. So we call and they tell us to bring it in and it would be detailed again.. we waited for over an hour to find that again all that was done was a vacuuming of the floor mats and a wash. The crumbs and stuff was still under the seats, the dash wasn’t wiped or anything. A detailing means you pay attention to every DETAIL and clean it. We didn’t want to pay $50,000 and keep the previous owners filth. All the manager can say is “it’s a used car”. My husband took it back up there today and has been there for 3 hours waiting on them to do the job they should’ve the night we bought it. We won’t be giving them anymore of our business as it’s been made very apparent that they do not care about the customer once they get your money. The salesperson Sherry was very nice and helpful and can only do so much. Management on the other hand needs to learn how to treat their customers.

2022-05-24Virgie did an awesome job! She had all the leg work completed before our appointment. It was an easy and pleasant car buying experience. Will definitely purchase from here in the future! Thanks for everything!
