I have lived here for 6 years and I have very little complaints over this time. The grounds are clean, the neighbors are nice, the price is good and I love the location. Helen and Krystie are so nice. Josh and Kush always take care of anything I need. Thank you for providing me a place I like calling home!
I have a friend that recently moved from here & If I could give them zero stars I would this apartment complex is not safe! From the roaches to the overfilled garbage. The dryers are old & need to be changed due to flammable purposes but they have not fixed even after being told by gas company for about a year now . The apartment has mold & is not kid friendly. It’s not worth how much they are charging! There is also a serial peeping Tom roaming around in the early mornings so for your safety look somewhere else
I absolutely loveeeee these apartments! The staff all around the board is friendly and are always ready to assist you ! My apartment is renovated and beautiful. I have a lovely view as well. Maintenance requests are handled quickly. The community is safe and The neighbors are nice. No bugs have been found whatsoever! The schools are just perfect! I dont see myself moving anytime soon !
I recently moved out of this complex and let me start by saying that this was THE WORST apartment I have ever lived in. It was nice until ZRS took over. It went from a beautiful gated community to broken gates, broken mailboxes, not maintenance team, and outrageous rent. For starters, don’t even bother calling maintenance. They don’t answer. The maintenance manager said that they aren’t even sure why the number is listed for us to call because it isn’t a line that is monitored. Once the voicemail gets full they delete them all and start over. In November 2020 our hot water heater stopped working. We would have water for about 5 minutes and that would be it. When we finally got maintenance to look at the problem they said the water wasn’t as hot due to the cold weather outside. Of course I called a plumber and they said that the heating element was going out. When I submitted another request for the broken hot water heater they instantly marked the jobs as completed. As a mom of 2 kids this is absolutely unacceptable. We were having to visit relatives just to be able to shower. Our power outlets wouldn’t hold a plug but I stopped worrying about this after 3 months complaining. We constantly had the maintenance team and other tenants that would smoke weed and the scent would fill our apartment. Again, kids. When the pandemic started, there were so many companies and places that were sympathetic to those who were losing jobs but not this place. They sent everyone job applications. They never reached out to people to see if they needed anything. The final straw for me was at lease renewal they wanted to raise my rent from 1484 to 2105. DURING A PANDEMIC! There is no way I would pay that for a 3rd floor apartment with no amenities and no privacy. And just so you know, I recently moved into a 5 bedroom house for 1600 and even with the cold weather, it works just fine. The only reason this place has almost 4 starts is because they paid people in gift cards to leave 5 star reviews. It’s been almost a month since I have moved out and I still haven’t heard from anyone about doing a final walk through or even about charges that are due. Save your time, money, and sanity and move somewhere else!
I have lived here since March 2018 . This has to be one of the best apartment staffs I have ever worked with. The apartments are older but maintained well. I live in a renovated up to date unit and have had a few maintenance issues nothing major and no matter when I call or email they come immediately to one day later. The staff is friendly the neighborhood and amenities are maintained and clean as well. The price is great for the area. No complaints!! : )
This is a nice apartment complex! I was apartment hunting and came across this one! Krystie was great! She got me in and out with all of my questions asked! The area is wonderful and convenient and around so many things to do and eat! Did I mention it’s close to work! I love the interior and exterior! Would recommend! Especially if Krystie is taking care of you!
I have been staying at this apartment for almost 1.5 years and i could say the new management who took over mid last year is worst. They look for how to earn additional money from each tenant. The best example I used to get water bills of $28-$32 previously , now after new management took over i started getting $80-$85 for 2 occupants. Imagine how much they charge extra each month. Secondly their phone lines never work, we cant even reach them if need to , If maintenance is requested online, they wont come upto 3 days and their maintenance phone lines wont work as well. In case we get connected to maintenance they would say we havent seen the request online so there is no use of online portal. They also charge on our monthly bill for vacant occupants electric and gas. So if an apartment is vacant your monthly rent will have that extra cost added to it. Maintenance is Zero with this management,It is been almost a year the gate for entering the apartment isnt working but still they dont have time to fix it. Lot of issues with this new management. I would never ever recommend somebody to stay at this property.
I moved here a little under 6 months ago. The apartments are nice, however, the leasing office and management are non-responsive and tell you that they may be able to resolve issues. Ive had a problem with the tenant(s) above me going on 3 months now (loud banging/blows to the floors all times of the day). When this issue first presented itself, I spoke with Juan-Carlos who in return told me that he would speak with them, and suggested to file a police report the next time it happened so there would be documentation. The suggestion turned out to be an untrue statement as when I did call the police, I was told by dispatch that officers did not do reports on noise ordinances. I then spoke with the manager Kristy who also told me she would call them (tenants) and that theres only so much she/they could do, and yet the issue is still occurring and if anything has gotten worse. She also gave me the general email address for the office, in which Ive sent an email about 3 weeks ago and I have not gotten a response. On April 10th I called the police for this same issue as Im working from home now since (COVID-19) and they came out and I spoke with them in length and they asked me had I communicated my issue to the leasing office, and I told them that I did and what Kristy stated. Although the officers were gracious enough to speak with the tenants, they also shared with me that it is ultimately the apartments responsibility to solve these issues and that if they (leasing office/management) wanted to solve the issue they could/would. I have to agree with the negative post and say that they do not care about the tenants, they would rather have an altercation arise amongst tenants, then to seek resolve as they are only focused on meeting sales goals. With everything that is going on they are not answering their phones, the voicemail is full and are not/have not responded to my email to date, yet theyre sending emails out (sometimes multiple ones a day). To conclude, the apartments are nice, until you have an issue. The sad thing is this is just one of the issues that Ive encountered in my short time here.
Worst apartment complex ever!! Weve lived here for a little over a year and it has increasingly hot worst as time goes on. At first it was roaches, then our microwave broke and it took them 8 MONTHS to fix it only for it to work for a month before it broke again. Also mantenance is non existent!!! We have had a called, emailed and called again because our garbage disposal is broken and no response. Its been broken for 4 months now and its disgusting. Oh and heres the kicker. The sockets dont work.......I have to make sure my phone gets charged fully in my car because for some reason the sockets refuse to give out electricity. This is a scam of an apartment complex!! Thank God we move soon because I would rather live in a box
This apartment complex is how communities should follow. You can get Amazon and packages right at your door and no one messes with it. Maintenance are timely and the landscaping alone will make you put your devices down and enjoy the outdoors. All of the amenities are right at your fingertips! After a hard Days of work. This apartments for you.
I would give you this place a zero stare but it won’t let you. But this place is a joke since the new owners took over. People have broke the mail boxes and they won’t fix it you can’t get them to answer the phone or a email. Even try to email corporate and no response. When you need something done you have to got on a hunt for them. Usually you can find them smoking weed behind building A. But just let y’all know that this place is the biggest joke, and only reason why they have 4 stars and good reviews is cause they sent out a emails saying that if you leave good reviews we will pay you. So we did cause they gave us 25$ Visa card. Oh and another thing that was messed up about this company is when the COVID-19 started happening they were send all of us emails saying that rent comes first that if you had lost your job here are links to places that are hiring. So they don’t care anything about there residents. So do your self a favor and stay away from this place.
I lived at this apartment complex (back when it was originally Palisades Club) for almost 3 years. I want to note that during the entire time I was living there, I never once missed my rent payment. I was also living there under a different name, but I digress. At the time, I was going through alot emotionally and mentally. This complex used to offer low income housing rates, and that was how I was able to get my first apartment on my own here. I was very happy initially, even though at the time this complex held some flaws (lack of a laundry facility really, a horrible dumpster arrangement for residents, a really small public pool) but it didnt deter me and I felt comfortable enough. I wanted to keep living here as long as I could. When the later part of 2016 came around, I did notice that the apartment complex was going through new construction and renovations. They also changed the name of the apartment complex to Sugarloaf Trails. I naively didnt think much of it. When it was time for me to renew my lease for a third year in a row, instead of only increasing the rent by a few dollars (like they had done for me 2 years prior), they instead shocked me by saying that the increase would be raised by $100. I, of course, couldnt afford this. The management wouldnt care or know this, but when I was scrambling to find another place within 30 days to move to (there was none available) I had a panic attack that lasted for 12 hours. I had to call 911. I was later hospitalized. I then went through extensive outpatient treatment (and yes, while I was hospitalized, I did end up losing this apartment and my parents had to come by to clean up, and yes this management took every cent of my deposit and only offered a small portion of it back after we had to call the higher ups about this).I have been in a near-homeless state ever since. My current living situation is not entirely healthy or positive, and I hold a huge grudge for this place that caused this to happen to me. Income restrictions for apartments, in general, should be a crime and people should not have to lie about their income in order to be able to get their own place to stay and try to flourish as an individual. So, my advice? Unless you are made of money, or you dont mind being screwed over by this company, do NOT rent with them. Their apartments might look nicer now than when I was staying in them, but they are greedy and they only care about your money. They also nearly put me out on the streets.
New owners are horrible. Maintenance staff more worried about paint then fixing problems inside the apartment. Got golf cart trails through the grass now. Compactor is backing up and breaking constantly. Broke down cars in parking lot. Appears they are getting ready to sell this place again. Was not long ago this place was nice but maybe something will change soon which is why im doing this review because office wont return any calls. And maintenance staff avoids us at all cost
The staff is great and the maintenance staff is very helpful :)I see some bugs outside the front door like spiders and other little bugs but they do spray. They do respond to you quickly and they are actually caring about the residents expectations.I havent had any problems with this apartment so far.
I was going to give three but my roommate said 1.I’ve lived her for two years now. When I first moved everything seemed great. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great community...to a certain extent. I’ve never written a review but today takes the cake for me due to staff member SARAHS lack of customer service About 3-4 months ago the apartment complex decided to switch management and staff changed when the put that plan into action. Ever since the new and “improved” change it’s been a disaster. First the phone number to the leasing office NEVER WORKS. Not only is there 3 different numbers listed they all never work. There’s a text option I just oped into that no one response to. EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE don’t hold your breath attempting to get through to that line. I’ve had my bathroom flood my apartment and leak to my downstairs neighbors and called over ten times for emergency maintenance and no answer no assistance. I had to use my personal towels to soak up all the water and throw them away. They came to wet vac but didn’t look at the toilet. They have charges on your rent for a gate that never works and is still broke up until this day it’s been broke past the beginning of last year but they still charge you for having a gated community😒. Also we have one trash compactor at the front ONE DUMPSTER and due to COVID-19 of course families are home often then usual and trash is building up. Often when I go to throw away my trash I either can’t get my bag into the compactor because it’s full or worst I can’t get to the compactor because people have piled there trash alll on top of it in front of it on the stairway to the trash compactor. Instead of this complex maybe getting the trash people out here more often they had the audacity to place signs up saying they will be charging fees to residents who leave their trash and not place it in the compactor. Well if the compactor is full where exactly would you like me to put my trash? Back in my house until you guys have the people come and empty the compactor?! Also. My a/c went out I’m on the 3rd floor it’s 82 degrees outside and my a/c is broke reading 81 degrees in my house...and I currently work from home. We put a emergency work order in over two weeks ago and today called this morning to see when someone would come out and just look to see what could be wrong cause of course if the unit needs replacing that’s a whole different company. I got the rudest new rep Sarah I say she’s new cause I never seen her or spoke with her before and she tells me “I’m not the only one maintenance needs to get to” which I completely understand but how would Sarah feel if she sat in 80 degrees for over 8 hrs and not able to Sleep at night? i let her slide on that comment and spoke to the manager about a different concern. my roommate called and asked to speak the manager helen since we know her and her professionalism in regards to a eta as our original call was around 10:20am and it was now past 2pm and my roommate got Sarah who advised there’s no eta and no manager available 🤨 . My roommate hung up and called back 5 mins later and asked for Helen and Sarah said “there’s no one that works here with that name” my roommate said “so now we are lying” and Sarah automatically transfers to Helen. Like why are you playing games?! This new management process is on the road to disaster especially with someone like SARAH working there with her nasty uncalled for unprofessional incompetent rookie phone muscle attitude. I’ve now been told at 4:45pm when the office closed at 5 that my vent is frozen I have to wait 5 hrs for it to thaw (Which could have been thawed already had they came in the morning as requested but no Sarah said no)and no guarantee if when it thaws that maintenance can recharge it . I’m currently stuck with a portable a/c until further notice. I’m thankful of the portable ac because it’s something but SARAHS got to go . I wish the old crew was back they cared.
After being here for four months I’m still dealing with AC problems. It’s summer in Georgia... not the best place to have AC issues. I was told that being on the third floor, it was to be expected and nobody else had problems with this unit. So, it is was it is, but I’ve had third floor apartments before and they were always fine.First month I was told the freon was low and motor needed to be replaced. Second month I was told something was wrong with the thermostat and it needed to be replaced. By the third month, after I’d repeatedly reported during all the prior months that the laundry room was overheating... insulation was finally put in between the roof and our unit. That made a big difference and for a couple of weeks we had peace. Now just last night, the AC stopped working. I called the office in the morning requesting maintenance. In typical fashion, I did not receive any follow-up phone call, text or email to my service request. Very frustrating!! When I got back to my apartment, it was 85 degrees. I called emergency maintenance. When they responded they said the compressor on the AC unit was broken and it was too late in the evening for them to do anything about it. Even though I requested someone to come out earlier in the day when there was enough time to make the fix!!!I don’t know what else to say. I’ve spent nights awake drinking water so I don’t get dehydrated from sweating all night. I’ve been told by the office no one else has has reported AC problems, and yet my neighbor says he’s talked to the office about his unit’s AC issues too. I’ve been in the office and heard another resident come in to request someone to come fix the handle on their microwave that was broken by maintenance while they were working on something else in their kitchen. I’ve had to take time off work, that’s money out of my pocket, just to be at my apartment to help with communication between maintenance and the office. I’ve never been notified what time maintenance is coming to my apartment and have had them walk in on me multiple times. Again y’all, I’ve been here four months. This has been just awful.
You can find much better. They are more focused on charging you fees than fixing things or addressing your concerns. The manager Nicky found my issues funny. They dont respond to emails so you have to go in person or keep calling their phone. Maintenance took forever to fix my door. They acted confused when asking about fees and wouldnt address my emails when i called them by phone.Helen was nice in helping me move in but they dont respond well to your requests or concerns once you have moved in.UPDATE:Random people congregate around the back of your buildings to do drugs and other things. I find used condoms near my steps and on top of that my guests do not feel safe when leaving my apartment. I called the front office and the manager promised this was going to change and she would call me back to discuss. I have not received any calls. Stay away from this poorly managed apartment complex. Not worth it.
I have lost 4 packages and a mail (that was with a gift card) in this apartment within past 8 months. Never ever happened to me before this apartment complex. When I talked to the apartment guys, they say they are not responsible for any missing mail delivery. Also do not expect to receive any email from apartment office if you have a package in the office.Dumpster is overfilled and then people start to keep trash bags on the walkway. This happens every weekend.Last summers A/C was not working and it took them a month to make it little better. There is no insulation on the roof, so never take top floor apartments. Your electricity bill would be sky rocketing.
I have lived in my apartment, long with my sons, almost 3 years now. The location is perfect, surrounded by shoppes, restaurants, Interstate, top schools in Gwinnett. Although the location is perfect, maintenance takes there sweet time to respond. The apartment doesnt come with alot of amenities. Too many additional fees.
The entire staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. While I was touring with my friend, there were two nice maintenance men working diligently on the grounds but made it a point to stop and engage with us and welcome us to their community. If I am ever looking for a place of my own, Signature at Sugarloaf will be top of my list!
My time here at this complex for the past 6 years, now Signature at Sugarloaf has been pleasant. Although, I have had some issues and concerns they were eventually resolved. In a complex this size it is usually clean, no loitering or unattended children. What I like best is having access to fitness room, pool, playground, and occasionally the game room. In a county this size the location is ideal and easily accessible to the freeway. The only drawback is for the price there is no patio with storage.
I’ve been here for about 6 months now and what I love the most is that the staff is very welcoming and are good to my kid. They always take the time to say hi especially when they are on the golf carts riding around. During the summer we love hanging by the pool and enjoy the playground!
The manager, agents, and the apartments are deceptive! They say and try to understand your situation before your move in date BUT they say that they never said it before after you move in such as set up fees for electricity, gas, and water. Also there are so many hidden fees, such as gas fee, water fee, and electricity. It would be nice that they would mention it before you sign the contract but nope they dont. They mention all the fees AFTER you sign the contract. Also, on the move in day, there were so many problems in the apartment and they act like they care and act like they will address the problem asap but no they dont. It takes them a month to fix the problem even if you mention to them on multiple occasions. They just forget and never come back to it. Also the apartment complex isnt too great either. Too many unnecessary speed bump, no spacious storage room, small closest, and insect infestation. My recommendation is to find somewhere else then this hell hole.
Since I moved in November of last year it has been very peaceful I love my apartment the neighborhood is quite the people are friendly I love the vibe of the apartments overall. The whole staff is great, any problems I’ve had were taken care of any questions I had were answered can’t thank them enough. I’d say if your looking for a place to live this is it
This is the first time I rent an apartment and also I just moved to Georgia. I want to live near Hull Middle School and Peachtree Ridge High School distric. I spend a week trying to hunt a nice and afforable price apartment and it is very hard. I drove passed Signature at Sugarloaf and decided to go in and ask for a quote and tour around. I have to say, this is a very nice apartment with very affortable price. Helen Kim, the property manager is very nice. She took me into details of everything I need to know. I really recommend this place.
Moved out of here recently after (unfortunately) living here for the last 4-5 years after my family went through a painful foreclosure on a nice house we had for 6 years in Gwinnett. Overpriced for what you get. The problems in the apartment got so bad barely anything was getting fixed anymore. On our last day here, we found two rats in my mothers room. Cockroaches, ants, silverfish, centipedes, and other weird bugs were becoming a greater problem, and my chihuahua was getting sick too.Disgusting. On the top of that, the ceiling was also starting to crumble, especially in the closets. They raise rent here like crazy but where does it all go towards actually fixing anything? I also have pics of how gross the bathroom got too. Never again. Run if you can. At least most of the staff were friendly, though it did get bizarre a few times with the arguments I saw take place.Heres some other annoyances I had about living there. One time, these kids broke a part of the family car with their basketball. Barely anything was done about it unless we complained multiple times. Some neighbor downstairs would cook every night, and my mom had no idea what it was, but it smelled terrible and she would have to spray all the rooms with air freshener just to stomach breathing there.Id also see police officers in the area a lot in the first couple years of living here, and there was often a lot of noise from kids sometimes unbearable how loud it would get here, especially at night, though that got a lot better as time went on, but still. That was a productivity killer in itself, and Id often wake up in the middle of the night because either Id hear horrible noise from other tenants outside or my mom would hear something too.In the daytime, occasionally Id see a bunch of crazies, especially some undisciplined kids make so much noise and hit each other too one time, and no one batted an eye. A little while back, there was also an ant infestation in my bathroom I took care of by caulking up the bathroom and using Terro ant bait and powder to kill them. I mean this place is what it is, but it was far worse than I could have ever imagined. For your sanity, dont subject yourself to all this no matter how much rent they raise or what they do to renovate these places. They clearly care more about your wallet and ripping you off than anything else. No matter what your situation is, whether you have to pay full rent here or are here because of a government voucher, I wouldnt force my greatest enemies to live in this dump. Either find a house or invest in a more upscale apartment instead. The majority of the lower rated reviews here are accurate as well. Read those too if you want to talk yourself out of making one of the biggest mistakes ever. For me and my family, it wasnt ever worth it.
Ive only been in the apartment for a month and a half now the property manager is very nonchalant she doesnt care about anyone but herself shes not helpful at all the maintenance move me in an apartment a week after someone moved out To only find out that there was mold in my home that was painted over and Im pregnant so I was always sick bugs are crazy and pest control supposedly comes out every Tuesday they enter your home without your permission to be nosey after talking with a few other neighbors they all had mold in their homes as well Im pretty sure the whole apartment complex has mold in it and the maintenance paints over it nothings and the apartment is new everything is painted over. The prices are too high for the quality of the apartment homes. I wouldnt recommend anyone not even my worst nightmare to move in that complex
Ive lived here for over two years the the condition of the property is deplorable. The management does not care about their tenants. Ive never been late on my rent but yet they never fix the problems in the apartment. I sent work orders and I went to the office to submit a compliant but yet nothing has happened. I have decided move because of these conditions. The only thing that is good about this place is the location. It is close to everything.
These people are the biggest a holes of all time. I have a short term lease that I thought was going to go very smooth until I moved here. Ive never had any problems at any other place. 1. Management think they are so entitled to do what they feel. I was sleeping and 2 men entered my apartment to do maintenance check without my permission and they were here just last week!! DONT MOVE HERE. They will find anything to harass you about. Wish I didnt move here at all. This is the only place I know thatll come in your home while your sleeping who knows what couldve happened
This is my 4th day living here and so far, my package is stuck in the parcel unit which was delivered on the 7th (still in there by the way. Its fragile and it looks like no one is in a rush to get it out), and my apartment was entered without my knowledge. Imagine coming home and the door is unlocked with a complete stranger sitting in the bedroom closet (he was a contractor). Other than that the apartment is nice, my absolute favorite person in the front office is DeShavion, hes very kind, patient, and seems to be an overall good person. Hopefully, within the next 6 months my updated review will be better and of a less bitter nature, but thats if I dont stumble upon someone in my apartment (which is a complete deal breaker!) Or no more of my packages come up missing or trapped inside the parcel unit (which isnt the brightest thing to do if you ask me) all packages should be safely stored in the front office, not put in a box that only has 1 key that can easily be lost...or stolen...or whatever happened to it.
This place does absolutely nothing about noisey tenants. I wonder if somehow they are afraid to confront those people who make too much noise out of fear of losing those tenants. I pay waaaaay too much money to have to deal with noisey people above me. It is so horrible and miserable and my family and I are losing so much sleep over it. The ceiling fans in all of our rooms shake and the dining room lights appear as though it will fall off any day due to the thumping and kids running around above me. By the way, I pay full price for my apartment and I work hard to maintain it. There are some tenants here on a government voucher from what I’ve been told. If you want to keep your sanity from sleeping, don’t move here! I regret my decision.
I moved to Duluth, Georgia from New York due to job relocation in 2011. Not knowing anything about Duluth, Georgia I viewed many apartments in Gwinnett county and decided on Sugarloaf Apartment Homes and I am very happy with my decision. It was the nicest and cleanest property that I had visited and the staff was very friendly, personable, knowledgeable, helpful and professional; also it was centrally located with easy access to I85, I285, 316, the City of Atlanta with all it has to offer and Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. In 2012 things only became better when Nikki came onboard as Community Manager. Nikki is assisted by Helen Assistant Community Manager and supported by Deshavion Leasing Consultant. They are an amazing group of people who have formed an award winning team; and really it is a family. Whenever I see them on the property or in the office I am always greeted with a warm, friendly hello with smiles all around. They make you feel so vey welcomed home as a family member and not a number or tenant. I have never had an administrative or maintenance issue that was not resolved quickly, pleasantly, without raised voices, and in a very personable, and professional manner; Things happen and that is called life. Nikki, Helen, and Deshavion make life so much easier and comfortable to call Sugarloaf Trail Apartment Homes; Home for me since 2011. Since Nikki has been Community Manager from 2012 there are excellent community events, constant improvements to the property, consistent and persistent up keep, and maintenance of the community. Even in the smallest details and improvements such as a hand sanitizer installation by the trash compactor speaks of their excellence and commitment to living up to their motto; “The Mark Of Excellence.” Nikki, Helen, and Deshavion have not only hit the mark of excellence but have far surpassed it many times over and continue in the spirit of excellence far exceeding and striving in their expectations and goals; out doing themselves every time. Nikki, Helen, and Deshavion; thank you for all you do, all you are, all you are becoming, and all you continue to do in and with excellence. I cannot thank you enough for making this home. I wish you the very best and the greatest success in all your endeavors. Thanks again for everything
I’ve Lived There For 1 Year And I Can Honestly Say With New Management & Staff Nikki,Helen, & Deshavion Are Awesome! All My Maintenance Request Were Handled In A Timely Manner. They Were Always Nice & Welcoming. If I Ever Move Back Into The Area I Would Rent Here Again
The staff at Sugarloaf Trails is fabulous. Always kind, courteous and accommodating. We sold our home to be closer to work and school. After visiting many apartments in Duluth, we landed on Sugarloaf Trails. We are very pleased with our choice and love our new community.
This place is trash!!!!!! Dont move here cause its a waste of time and money.. the staff is extremely unprofessional and untrained on proper procedures regarding everything. Its infested with roaches,(yes roaches),they enter your apartment whenever they feel like it, they pile on fees as if rent isnt high enough and youll be paying utilities 3times a month.. for this area, you shouldnt see a bug or anything for that matter and one would think theyll be way more professional than they are.. all they care about is money and I promise you Ill go out my way to get some type of class action suit on this place.. its ridiculous how they treat there residents.. its ghetto over here so please believe me and dont waste your time or hard earned money
If youre a struggling college student looking for a place, this not affordable AT ALL unless u have a bunch of roommates that can help u pay. some college student dont have any credit and hey make absolutely no accommodations. seems like they only want a certain type of people or demographic living there
EVERYTHING THING IS NICE ,EXCEPT THE MAINTENANCE TAKES LIKE WEEKS OR MONTHS ,ITS SO FRUSTRATING THAT EVERY TIME I CALL AND THE RESPONSE I GET FROM THE OFFICE IS WE WILL LET THE MAINTENANCE PEOPLE KNOW. BUT NEXT IS THE SAME THING, ATL EAST IF THEY CANNOT COME LET US KNOW , BUT WEEKS,,,MONTHS NOT ACCEPTABLE. HOW IF WE ARE LATE IN PAYING RENT ,THE LATE CHARGE IS ALWAYS CHARGED NO MATTER WHAT ,SO HOW ABOUT GIVING US THE SERVICES WHICH YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO GIVE US .NEXT OWNER OR MANAGER WILL COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW AND FOR ME TO CALL BUT JUST SEE HOW ARE YOUR OPERATIONS ARE GOING ON IN THIS PROPERTY
WORST APARTMEN COMPLEX EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE!!!!! NEVER FIX THE TOILET!!!! WORST DECISION EVER!!!!! I WISH I COULD PACK UP AND LEAVE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! SO NOT WORTH IT, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME, I SURE WISH I DID! THE WOMEN UNDER ME IS LYING THROUGH HER TEETH!!! THEY MUST OF PAID HER!!!!!!!
Very bad service! The leasing staff is uneducated! I have been more than a year and I have not even been able to enter the facilities for which I pay! After a year of renting they increased my monthly payment and they do not solve the problems of the apartment! They have an emergency number that doesnt even work! I have a water pot on the roof of theKitchen, which according to solved, surround a person to place a paste instead of making the respective cut and the next day theDripping water and the paste they put in to fix the roof all fell off, of course on a Friday night where there is no one to call because they dont work even on Saturdays! Very very bad service! While they appear I have to keep cleaning the flood inside the apartment!

2022-04-26I had a great experience touring this spacious and affordable one bedroom apartment. There seemed to be a variety of amenities as well. However, the gate was broken at the time I toured and when I drove by a week later it remained broken. There was also a lack of follow up and communication from staff. Between the lack of communication and the required $1,000 deposit, I decided to go elsewhere. I’ll keep this place in mind the next time I move as I’m disappointed it didn’t work out.

2022-06-11Front office staff= 5 starsMaintenance staff= 5 starsCommunity= 5 starsRent increases and fees= zero starsI love my apartment complex and it’s staff. Great elementary school that actually cares about their students. I hate to part with it but I can not afford the rent due inflation. Rent increased $100 maybe more last year. I don’t want to see what it’s going to be if I renew for a 4th year. Yes you will see complaints about the trash compactor but the maintenance team takes great care of that. It’s not their fault. People see one bag of trash sitting outside of the compactor and that starts the build up outside of it. Stop being lazy and throw your trash inside. Break down your bigger pieces of trash and boxes. Stop dumping beds and actual furniture up there as well! It’s quite simple.

2022-02-08I have lived here for over three years. I will say two things about this community; the leasing office team GENUINELY cares about their tenants and the MAINTENANCE team kicks azz! They show up! They are attentive, they check up on you, they FAITHFULLY try and keep the front of the community clean because our dumpster is there and often times it gets jammed and trash builds up outside the dumpster but they are on it to ensure thats not the first thing people see when coming home or leaving. They dont make you feel like you are getting on their nerves and they actually smile and wave when they are on the carts getting through their busy days! I rock with this team because they care! So THANK YOU Signature at Sugarloaf Team for being a team thats consistent in your day to day with your tenants. And I dont even write reviews but I know businesses get a lot of bad things mentioned to and about them, so heres something GREAT I wanted to take the time to share!SP

2018-07-31I have been living here for 7 months and I love it!! Great location! Safe community, spacious apartment, and great management/leasing team!Nikki is GREAT! She went above and beyond for me, helping me get everything finalized before my move-in day. And to my surprise, she got me an updated apartment. :)Update: The only complaint I have is the turn around time for maintenance. It takes over 48 hours to resolve an issue. And I have another issue that still hasnt been resolved, going on 7 days now.

2019-12-18I love this Apartment as my home. Every room is cozy and comfortable, the house is warm in the winter season. When I walk in, Apt was very clean, they cleaned up every dust and insects. While I live and find some problems, they respond very quickly and solve any problem as I expect. Parking lot space is enough to park near home, easy to trash away, amenities like gym and pool are very easy to access.I can handle my home with the app which makes me easy to care for my home. Welcome to your new home, Signature at Sugarloaf!! It is not an ad!! My experience ever!

2021-12-26I am currently a resident here. I only been here for 2 months and something needs to be done about the trash asap , as soon as you come in the complex you see all the trash outside and it looks really bad. Another thing is the ceiling the apartments have. The way is made it traps spider webs and trash that comes off the ceiling while we sleep and it gives me really bad allergies due to all the dust it keeps. Something needs to be done about that.

2021-09-29Loved here for about a year and moved into a higher unit in the same complex the year after. Horrible experience with management, maintenance, and even corporate. Issues go for weeks without being fixed. Maintenance is intimidating and rude, flat out refuse to fix issues. Corporate never answered my calls about black mold being found in my apartment. Calling the number they tell you to call does absolutely nothing because you’ll probably get transferred to the leasing office. Horrible complex.
