Sleep Inn in Marietta
Sleep Inn in other cities:
Personnel was kind, but room was really smelly to cigarettes. We are non smokers and really bother. I asked to get another room but it was about the same. They charge me a deposit that they said was to be returned within 5 days. It’s been 2 weeks and still waiting. Not a happy customer here
The hotel room was clean but the room had toilet paper row pulled out of the wall. Mold in the bathroom wall near the toilet about 2’high. Blood stains on the top cover of the bed spread. We did take pictures and show the desk client. She said they would be fixed. Won’t stay at this Sleep Inn again.
Positive: staff not in tune with there responsibilities like not bing around at 9 P.M. The breakfast was a joke. There was a toaster and no toast to toast. Some muffins and some kind of mea and egg sandwiches nasty. The only thing good was the apple. The room Negative: the room has a broken partial open window that wouldnt close. Nothing good. They also wanted and took $100.00 refundable deposit hope I see it back.
Made reservations on booking.com. Came to check in and my card was decided. Called my bank and funds were taken out of my account but didn’t show up on sleep inn system until the next day! So I came back to stay the next day. The heat in the room didn’t work and I seen a few roaches in the room!
My family stayed here a few weeks ago. We had 4 separate rooms booked. One room my parents were greeted with a cockroach and a constant leaking toilet. My brother and his wife stated their room had blood ok the bedsheets on one of the beds, hairdryer, walls and bathroom. My older adult children their fan in the bathroom sounded like a lawnmower trying to start. My room surprisingly was fine from what I could see. Thank God we only stayed one night as there was no other hotel nearby that had availability. Next time we plan to book hotels in advance.
The rooms are spacious and very clean and comfortable, the shower was a little different but it fit the decor. Everything in the rooms were set up nicely and everything worked perfectly. The Staff were very friendly and inviting which made my stay there relaxing. They offered free continental breakfast which I must say was worth the trip to the dining area. With so many different options to choose from, breakfast was also another high light of my stay. So Id your looking for a nice relaxing place to stay for a night or a few I totally recommend the Sleep Inn.
Front desk support was very customer oriented. Ken was great. However, the hotel is dirty and we had bugs in our room. We were moved to a new room, but the impression was still there. Upgrades in carpet and lighting would improve cleanliness and feeling of safety in the hallways. Also, the parking lot and shrubs had trash and with some effort would improve the external view of cleanliness.
Five stars because of management, ken. Always bright, curious and helpful. Makes staying worth it. The appearance is not welcoming and rooms seemed as though noone really cared how comfy you were. Hospitality and cleanliness needs major work. To bad old housekeeping is no longer there. Some took pride in a clean room that screams welcome, Im glad your here...
I stayed back in April. While checking in I was told I had to pay $150 deposit down before paying for my room. The manager happened to be at the front desk while the associate was checking me in and proceeded to reassure me of the safety of my deposit and that it would be retrievable at any time upon checking out. Unfortunately, later the week my work required me to travel immediately from my present location (Buckhead) to Augusta to troubleshoot an issue. I was unable to physically check out therefore had a friend remove my and items from the room and check me out. She was unaware of my $150 deposit and neglected to request it before leaving the hotel. Later I called to try to attempt to retrieve the deposit. I spoke directly with the same manager who seemed to conveniently not remember the interaction about the deposit and reassuring me. While mentioning an employee that may or may not had been fired for nefarious reasons, he then proceeded to tell me to at pull up my transactions which I did but conveniently this did not lead to reference for my deposit, which was taken in cash and kept in an envelope with my name on it inside a small black box under the front desk. Conveniently there was no way to verify my deposit under this method (except for looking inside the black box, which he said he did and did not see it). IN OTHER WORDS, THEY JUST KEPT MY MONEY. DONT STAY HERE EVER!
Positive: The front desk clerk was friendly. Negative: This hotel was NOT worth the star rating and the amount I paid AT ALL. I was so disappointed with this hotel, I checked out 10 minutes after I checked in. The room looked outdated and smelled funky. And I felt very unsafe. I just couldnt stay.
Roaches greatest me in my room and at the door when I left! The hot water took about 10 minutes to warmup for the shower. The sight whole in the door was broken so the covered it with a napkin. Some questionable stains on the walls by the TV and in the bathroom. Turned down the AC which worked very well, but once I did that a very strong odor of cigarettes was present.
The receptionist was amazing how ever! When I woke up in the middle of the night I seen a bedbug in the bed! Then when I went to use the restroom their was a baby roach crawling up the wall by the toilet! Please get this hotel extremely exterminated ASAP! Other then that it was a good experience that’s why I gave them a 2 star because of those two bug incidents. Also the person next door to me was extremely loud this all accord in room 321.
This hotel was horrible. I traveled over 2 hours to stay here at this hotel with my children for a sporting event only to get here and get checked in to a room that looked someone had just checked out of it. I was then after complaining checked in to a room where the sliding door to the bathroom was stuck in the wall and the faucet in the sink had no working water along with stains in the comforter with a weird smell in the room. To say the least, I went back to the front desk and politely asked them to check me out so I could go yo another hotel. They need to make sure their rooms are checked to make sure they are clean.
Max was rude and sarcastic, sona was musty at the front desk , my room had roaches in both of em that they moved me to ! Never will stay again . The red head was the only helpful person at the hotel. I would come back because of her hospitality . I saw one of the housekeepers on the first floor not changing the pillow cases and using the same washcloth in the toilet on the furniture. Overrall you can see why my stay was horrible nobody was ever at the front desk to answer any of my calls . When I said there was roaches and asked for bug spray I was told they didn’t have bugs in there hotel .
Positive: Nothing! Negative: The room smelled as soon as I opened the door. I think I may have been bit while staying there. The pool was dirty and there was no hot breakfast as described. Also I had molded pillows and dirty sheets. This hotel need to be closed immediately.
The bathroom reeked of smoke , the walls were dirty and a fight broke out right underneath our window. I booked and paid for 3 nights yet had to go and ask the desk clerk to let me in on the final day . Upon checking in the clerk said he was not the one that takes care of checkin and that person had stepped out and he would try to check me in . although I didn’t see anyone else at the desk the entire weekend.
When we arrived the lobby smelled terrible, but when we got to our room it was much worse. There was mold growing on our trash can & burn marks on the chair. The ceilings were brown from smoke & the room smelled worse than the lobby did. Horrible experience. Would not recommend staying here.
We book our stay online non refundable we checked in the room look nice everything was fine until that night when we heard music start playing around 6 or 7 oclock the music would play on and off all through the night until about 3 oclock in the morning we reported it to the front desk and he used the excuse that it was Spring break time when we checked out the next day from a 2 night stay, We encountered the manager, he never asked how was it for you last night. He wished us well and told us to drive safe not concern with whether or not we had a better night that than the 1st night he just wanted to wish us well so we could get out of his hair. This was not a sleep in , this was a SLEEP NOT...
Booked this hotel on account of it having an indoor heated pool which was advertised as such on its website. Called beforehand to ensure it was open. Arrived only to discover that ten cent renovations made the pool outdoor and unheated. Ownership refused to refund my money. Rude.
We were in town for weekend basketball tournaments. This was one of the better Sleep Inn’s we’ve stayed at. The staff members were amazing and very friendly. The pool was nice and the rooms were as expected. We didn’t hear much noise even with a large number of teenage basketball players staying. Nice, comfy beds and we love the huge walk in shower. My kids love the complimentary shampoo, conditioner and lotion they provide. This hotel was close to pretty much everything. If we’re ever in the area and need a hotel, it will definitely be this sleep inn location!
Staff was pleasant and a great help especially the man who’s name was Ken. Breakfast was nice to have but the orange juice was awful and choices not great. Pool area didn’t look very clean and not well lit since it was an inside pool so we decided not to use. Parking area around back looked unsafe so only parked in front of it. The pillows were super soft and the room had great lighting. If the hotel could fix the unstable bed frame and the sloped shower floor that made you feel like you were going to fall it would have been a nicer experience. Over all the hotel was sufficient for the purpose intended. However, the hotel could use some safety updates.
Omar was fabulous when I got there to check in. A couple hours in I went to ask about the TV not working fully. He said that he had the provider working on it (still not resolved the following day) and I also had told him i needed to extend my stay for both rooms one more night and he said great he would take care of it and it would only be a few dollars more than my first night . So I left it at he was taking care of it. Im 30 minutes away and get a call from the front desk asking if I was staying another night. I told them that it was all supposed to have been taken care of last night by Omar. She said there was no notes from him and couldnt get ahold of him . I drove back 30 minutes and she couldnt honor his rates he gave me so I told her it was fine I would just leave. So 5 hours away and having to find 2 rooms on the fly was a headache today. And you can see the ceiling picture attached. It smelled like mildew where the ceiling was leaking. Highly disappointed
Beds were comfortable, part of room updated to Sleep Inn standards. Place smelled of pot, very noisy night with doors frequently slamming. No breakfast or pool due to COVID. Needed a deep clean on doors, etc, but generally wiped down. Front desk attendants were nice. Location would not be a spot of choice again.
I was very disappointed with this location. The receptionist was unprofessional and could care less about your needs. First, when I walked into the room the smell was so bad that it made me nauseous. I vomited into the toilet, I tried to flush the toilet and it wouldnt flush. I walked out of the bathroom to close the blackout curtain because you could see into the room with the sheer curtains they had hanging. No blackout was there. I called the front desk twice and no answer so I called Priceline and receptionist told them no manager was available. I went to front desk to speak with receptionist told her what was going on never received an apology or offer another room. I checked out the same day I checked in and I still havent received a refund
If you love the smell of cigarette smoke, can get a room on the third floor (so the tap dancing elephants above you don’t continue to wake you and your kids up) and don’t mind your toilet caving in on you this hotel if for you! The rooms are incredibly small and smell musty with whiffs of sewage. Our toilet lid won’t stay up so as you pee the lid closes in on you, the toilet roll holder is also broken. The only positive thing about these rooms, is it’s so small the beds touch the walls so we didn’t have to set of a bed rail for our toddler. We are driving back by in 5 days and can guarantee we will not be staying here!
What started out as a great experience turned wrong when we made it to our room. My room had ants and the bathroom door was broken. We tried contacting the front desk with no answer multiple times. We tried to explain this to the front desk attendant when we were checking out and the young lady caught a major attitude. Really did not need this while in town for a funeral. Ariana was great and gave good customer service.
This hotel looks nice on the inside, but in reality it has roaches. They say they spray monthly but the roaches still show up crawling from behind the tv desk. They also have NO MAINTENANCE. What kind of hotel doesnt have a maintenance person smh. Also, the manager Omar is not helpful at all. If you like to watch tv during your stay, you can forget about it. Honestly, they barely have ANY channels!! Most of the stations say weak channel, no service. What is the point of this hotel???? Just a waste. Do not stay here if you can help it. Front desk staff is a sad case other than April. Everyone else is just on their phone doing nothing all day.
My husband and I have been staying at this hotel since the beginning of January. All the staff have been nice and accommodating. Tonight I experienced a unpleasant experience from the front desk clerk Sonya. She knocked on my door at 12:00 am, banging like the police. We were sleep and it took us a minute to get to the door. As I was putting my clothes on to open the door, you could literally hear her yelling that our bill is not paid. Which is inaccurate and dont even make any sense, its 12 am in the morning. Do you really think we have been in this hotel over a month and we would sit in here at 12 am without the room being secured? It was handled in a very unprofessional and ignorant manner. When I opened the door, there was another guest who opened the door at the same time, due to her yelling. To management, I strongly advise that Sonya is trained on customer service and taught the importance of being professional.
POOR HOUSEKEEPING! MUST READ! Reserved this hotel about a month in advance. My family and I were attending an Atlanta Braves game and chose this hotel due to its close proximity to the ball park. We checked in and went to our rom only to find that the room had not been cleaned from the previous guest departure. We kindly requested another room. Well we arrived at room two only to find that it was in the same condition. The bed was unmade and toiletries and towels on the floor in both rooms. Will also be writing a review to the Choice Hotels brand as we are members of their Loyalty Program and had to move to another hotel 30 min across town. Only regret was not taking pictures to support this review.
Satisfied with my stay, the location is excellent for our commut to MS, the next morning. Restaurants were close. The area was quiet and peaceful. The indoor pool was great, I didnt really expect to see that along with the exercise room. I didnt want to spend a lot for just one night, since we wasnt there vacationing.
Employees never acknowledged any of their customers as they came through the lobby. Acted like it was an inconvenience to check me in. Room smelled stale and awful. Bring Febreze if you stay here!! It also was not cleaned very well after the previous guest left. Found a dirty qtip beside my bed. The mirror and faucets were also not cleaned. No stopper in the drain. The toilet paper holder was barely hanging on the wall and not functional. Ice machine in the hallway was broke. I guess the only good thing I can say is the beds were comfortable and it was easy to get to SunTrust Park from the hotel.
Traveling with grandchildren, found the room accommodations to be amazing. Beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast offerings were very disappointing and not up to the level that is expected at a choice hotel. Staff was great when you could find them, but seemed to be missing often
Upon entering lobby i was greeted and checked in with quick service by the desk agent Larry. He made sure all of my needs were attended to. The room was very spacious and clean, cozy and located in a quiet area of the hotel. The breakfast manager, Timikia prepared a great breakfast and the housekeeping staff were great as well. I will definitely make Sleep Inn my next choice again! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Larry, Timikia and the rest of the team for providing myself with top notch service!
The staff was very friendly, attentive to our needs, and made us feel like we were at home My and family and I have decided that this is the only hotel that we will stay at when we go to Marietta. The rooms were very clean and every employee had a smile on their face from the time that we checked in until the time that we checked out. This hotel made us feel like we were at home away from our home.
Truth be told I slept very well, beds were comfortable. But thats were it stops. I heard awesome reviews of the his place, but today was not their day. The blame goes to management, which was not on the property and unreachable per staff.Bathroom: 1 wash rag. Coffee pot was never cleaned, had a used coffee pouch still in it. It was dry, been there for a while. Breakfast: usually very good with lots of food and fresh cofffee..today was terrible and thats being nice. #1 Under staffed #2Coffee extremely weak, #4 Food, seemed to be low or out of most items and staff was VERY slow to respond, deer in the headlights look. Lobby: observed (2-3) men sleeping on lobby couches and chairs, not sure what that was all about.... I could go on...Please do something about this or my SleepIn days may be SleepOver.
The hotel has recently been renovated with paint, window treatments, carpet, tvs and wonderful mattress, pillows and bedding. The water pressure was absolutely horrible in our shower. We removed the shower hose and tried to rinse off from the water coming out of the pipe in the wall. No excuse for that! The bedside lamp didnt work because there was no electric outlet that its cord could reach. The lighting in the room was dim and not good for makeup application.
It was okay. A bit dead and the girls at the front desk were rude and completely ignored my friend and I when we were trying to pay for some drinks because they were busy chatting amongst themselves. It took a minute before we walked away, leaving the money on the counter, and they finally asked us if we put the $3 we owed on the counter. But it was a nice room.
Hotel was neat clean, staff friendly, hotel beds were extremely comfortable, room nicely appointed breakfast ok, some items a lil overcooked, good price value. What a difference a few months make. This hotel is disgusting. The whole outstanding crew that I have a four is gone. The housekeepers they had during my last stay is gone and the new general manager is seldom seen and inept, the once general manager now assistant general manager is a shister. The night desk clerks friend hangout in the lobby all night laying on the sofa, often 5 to 8 non paying guests utilizing guest facilities, during my 5day stay my room was not cleaned for 3 days and the agm just walked away throwing her hands in the air. The hotel is showing wear and rundown no maintenance and guest attendants trying to everything while trying to do 26 rooms. During the stay the hotel was robbed with little or no explanation while we stepped out of room into presence of police armed with assault rifles. It is easy to see why this hotel cant retain quality employees..everyone seems to do what they want, everyone complains and this place seems to have same cancer at the top as Whitehouse.
We booked a room after looking for a hotel with an indoor pool for the kids to have a break on our way home from Florida. This hotel was very misrepresented by the online description and pictures. It looks like it is currently undergoing a remodel, but nothing is finished. The room we were given was unfinished. No trim, cracks in the wall/ceiling joints and a gap in the bathroom door when it was closed and locked. We were told the pool was open, but there was a closed sign on the door as well as construction debris in and around the pool. The pool was advertised as a heated indoor pool, but the front desk clerk told us there was no heat in the pool or pool room and that it depended on your body heat if you could stand the cold water. We checked back out after 30 minutes and were told we couldnt contact the general manager until Monday and that we MIGHT be able to receive a refund if the general manager decided he wanted to give us one. Do not stay here.
This hotel was the best choice for me on a business trip. It provided the amenities I needed for my comfort but not too frilly. It is a perfect fit for the business traveler who wants to spend time out in the city, but come back to quiet and comfort! I had enough time to commute to Atlanta from this location without all the noise and fuss at the airport locations. It also has a simple gym near the lobby area. Its not a upscale version, but it fit the bill. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future. Also, there are a few nice nature trails nearby!!
Completely Filthy! Larry at the front desk is amazing and super friendly and helpful but this hotel was filthy. Larry changed our room 3 times. All rooms had dirt on floor, urine and pubic hair on toilet. Showers had mold and hair. The last room we tried...the bed was messed up and it had someones iPhone earphones laying in it. At that point we left and Larry said we would be issued a refund. I do not recommend staying here.
When we got to the hotel the were remodeling so we thought it would be a decent place to stay. When we checked in the room upon first glance it didnt look clean. The bed was not fully made, it smelled like paint and the bathroom shower was filthy. We notified the front desk and she came and switched our rooms, saying that housekeepers were still cleaning. After entering the second room it was ok but you could tell the shower was very old. My husband and I always check the sheets whenever we stay at hotels and thank God we did! The sheets were dirty with spots! we called front desk once again and my husband had to go downing get what was supposed to be clean sheets and change the bed. after looking through the sheets they gave us there was hair all in them. It was disgusting. Later that night as we were watching tv I saw a roach crawl across the tv. My husband took pictures of everything and at that point we had enough. We called front desk and told them we were checking out immediately following the next morning and we did. They didnt compensate us for the horrible night we had and still charged us for the full stay.
Terrible customer service in the evening. People hanging out in the lobby that did not stay there, as well as, small children. Somebody sleeping on the couch in lobby. Floor in room was not vacuumed, toe nails on carpet. Shower was dirty. Eggs were burnt. If it matters, the coffee was good.
I enjoy the vibe it brings and the housekeeping is nothing less than Best! I felt love in the food every morning that Mearknee cooked her potatoes were the best! The guy who works night shift was also great at customer service and helping me with answering all of my questions and taking care of needs whenever things arisen
From some of the other reviews, I expected a mess, but it wasnt bad. The room was clean and you could tell there was a recent attempt at a facelift, remodel would be too strong a word. The paint was new and some carpet, maybe the curtains and bedding. But, the shower was old and patched, there was no bedskirt on the bed which was just tacky, there was an electric socket hanging on the wall and the refridgerator was leaking on the floor. There was no info about the hotel and surrounding area in the room and no exit info on the door in case of emergency, nor was there a do not disturb card. The windows were old and had blown their seals, not to mention, we were on the 3rd floor, and the window could be opened all the way. There was no stop on the window. The breakfast was just meh and the waffle batter dispenser and waffle iron both need some repairs. Not completely sure it was worth what they were charging....
This was the worst night ever. Drive all day to stop here and be told there are no rooms when we were dog tired. There should have been some kind of compensation offered for all the trouble we went through. Definitely disappointed after being a choice privileged member all this time, we were treated like we didn’t matter. Total chaos when we walked up to desk. We were told about issues earlier in the day with front desk person that walked off job had with room service. Told that there were customers that didn’t feel safe that had to be moved after the incident. Honestly if I had another choice, I would have gone somewhere else but we were redeeming points. So frustrated.
This was the most unclean hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It had been newly renovated also, but you couldn’t tell it. I honestly don’t know how the rooms have passed inspection. One night we didn’t even have any water to shower or brush our teeth. We didn’t have a latch on the door to lock. Everything was dirty...sink, shower, sheets, etc.
This place looks appealing with its cute decor posted around but honestly it needs deep cleaning, paint and better staff that actually cares about its guest. Place is a joke, if you want a place to relax and take it easy, this isnt for you. Apparently here, people are allowed to keep their doors open and party in the hall with kids screaming and banging on doors through out the night. I suggest you pay the extra money elsewhere. Also below is a picture of lamps hanging out of the inside of the pool!Hey the bed is comfy though and tv is nice too.
I had a great stay at the Sleep Inn in Marietta. I was in town for business at Piedmont Atlanta. This location was very easy to access the Piedmont location. My room was very clean and the staff was so wonderful and welcoming. I was always greeted with a smile. I felt that the area was safe and a good breakfast was provided in the mornings. Will return if in the area again! Thanks for a great stay.
Walked in late night to the front desk and Craig met me with a smile and made sure I was taken care of. The room was clean and it was the most economical hotel in the area. If I need to stay another night in the same area I would choice this location. All expections were met. It really came in clutch due to my last minute arrangements.
Corridors need major cosmetic work. One working ice machine ( which was an improvement from last time we stayed there- yes, I gave them one more chance). Morning hotel employees were not at all on the ball. Breakfast was not replenished. Very poor service. Our room was clean but shower was stained and didnt APPEAR to be clean.

Needs some serious work, the rooms need a deep cleaning! Bed was comfy, but the walls and bathroom are terrible! Parking was good! Near a lot of restaurants! Food at hotel gross don’t eat it! If you’re looking for something cheap and just to sleep it’s great! But not for more than a night stay!
We booked a room after looking for a hotel with an indoor pool for the kids and close to Atlanta. We arrived at the hotel about 10:30pm and the hotel smelled of marijuana, from the lobby to the third floor. We got into our room, unpacked and turned the a/c on only to find out it doesn’t work, the vents are extremely dirty, and makes a loud constant noise. We called down with no answer so I went down to the front desk where the attendant is sitting watching a show/movie instead of answering the desk phone. The attendant allowed us to switch rooms. The bathroom door in the new room could not be closed due to being jammed back inside the wall, the vents to the a/c unit in the second room looks like they haven’t been cleaned in a long time, the window is broken and tapped back together. We go to try and use the pool that is listed and come to find out it is closed and has been closed for an extended period of time.
Booked two sleep inns in the same day for different areas and different dates. Not 2 weeks later everything was canceled and closed because of Covid, I called the sleep in in akien sc to cancel. They were very nice and said no problem, they canceled and refunded me my nights stay. Thank you! Another week or two goes by and we realize that it’s going to be even longer and more things shut down, I call this Marietta location to do the same thing! I got a very rude person and she reluctantly told me she got it processed. Well 4 days before the day we were scheduled for(that should have been canceled) I received an email saying they can’t wait for us and our stay. I had to call back twice before getting to talk to the same rude manager. She again reluctantly said she was going to process the refund. Well a month has gone by and I still haven’t received my money. I called yesterday and again rudely said it was showing a refund was processed. Again NO MONEY WAS GIVEN BACK. It’s easy to tell the computer to do something and not actually do it. So now I have to file fraud on the charge with my credit card. I will never book with them again. Thanks for making a bad, sad situation worse.
I booked this trip through priceline & did not see any bad reviews until after the fact... I was very skeptical about staying here after reading the reviews. But, im glad we gave Sleep Inn a chance because it was a great stay! Rooms were nice & clean (yes small, but we werent in the room alot so it did not matter).. Hotel staff were all very friendly.. and if we are ever back in the area we would stay here again.
DO NOT STAY HERE! Place smelled of pot. Guy passed out on the couch in the lobby. Small children running around at 1030 at night unattended. Waited for someone to check me in for 15 minutes. Knocked on the employee only door still no one came. Called front desk and no one answered the phone. Finally left at 15 minutes. Place was very shady. Great place to get mugged!
Despite the pictures showing an up to date place, this hotel is in need of serious attention.Stayed in room 237. Like other reviews, the room had a very strong musty and cigarette smoke smell to it.Couldnt get any WiFi signal in my room. Appeared as though someone had stolen the AP from that end of the hall as a network cable was hanging out above the door across from me.The whole time, there was a guest either smoking or dealing weed out of one of the rooms close to the elevator. The odor was so strong it could be smelt through the closed door.Laundry services were out of order the entire time as well. The broken or replacement washer and dryer sat in the second floor landing right as you exited the elevator. Not plugged in, just being stored there despite many patrons staying on the second floor. My roommate pulled back his sheets to find they had a burn hole in them from someone smoking in the room at some point. The bathroom door had a hole in it that was haphazardly repaired. On checkout day, housekeeping showed up at 10:15 and attempted to enter the room without knocking at all. Thankfully we had the door locked.Normally we are big fans of Sleep Inn but this stay has us considering other options in the future.
I had a reservation for 2 nights beginning Saturday ending on Monday. Somehow the hotel mixed up my reservation and had it for Friday through Sunday. Because I was supposed to show up on Friday, I did not. They would not even allow me to stay the night which I have prepaid for on Saturday, they said I had to re book the whole trip. What a crock of you know what.
This was one of the worse hotel experinces I had the check in staff did not have accurate information upon check in. The ice machine had roaches in it showed it to a staff member she appologized but overall experience was not good. Check out paid with a differnt card and my check in was still on hold meanwhile I check out on the 1/27/2019. Had to reach back out to the hotel asking why the charge was still there on my card. Just very unprofessional experience. I was upset about it but management did not process the checkout correctly I should not had to back about mycheck if it was processed correctly. She said I was rude about, but you put me on hold for a manger and after I explained the issue its something you couldnt fix a manger ne ed ded to do it.
I came in and there were two children running around and it looked like that it was the dad asleep on the couch. There was no one at the desk. They finally came up and checked me in. I got to the room and there were toenails on the floor. It looked like the floor had not been vacuumed. The shower was also dirty and part of the coffee pot was missing. I could not make coffee in the room. The room was just all in all dirty.
When I arrived, the clerk was very friendly and seems to be talking to a guy while waiting on me. She gave me a room number and keys and when I went to that room, it already belonged to someone else, thankfully no one was in there when we walked in. The bath tissue was used, I only got two uses off of it beforehand getting a new one, very unsanitary!
Where to begin - firstly on our first night , i asked to use laundry , was 3 hours before i got call for availability , when i came down for key , it was two different stories with two staff members, one said they called earlier but i didnt answer , lies , the second said a guest still had key and they couldnt check. I was referred to stay here by some of my friends in the music industry and I was not disappointed! I had a late check in with MearKnee who was moor than happy to help with a friendly smile! Then I arose to April! I almost called my wife and told her I was staying true story!
Sheets were not changed during my stay. Had to ask for toilet tissue and towels 3 times. Was over charged for my stay and no refund yet or response from manager. Breakfast lady was late on our last day to make breakfast so we didn’t eat breakfast there that day. Stay in room 355 windows where dirty.
After having a horrible experience at another I decide to stop here at Sleep in and let me tell y’all Julio is awesome very professional and helpful !!! I highly recommend this place for your stay the rooms are very nice and fancy ❤️ Closed to many places 🙌 By the way I also got to meet the owner very nice humble person ⁉️
Sleep Inn in Marietta GA had recently been remodeled and reopened, but the plumbing on the 3rd floor had very poor drainage in both rooms they moved us to. They blamed us, although clearly the plumbing was like that before we used it. They refused to check us out after the first night because they would incur some sort of fee, so even though we left, their records show us staying a second night. There were other issues related to the remodel, including an outlet cover that wasnt secured to the outlet (it was hanging off when we entered the room) and damage to the sliding bathroom doors in both of the rooms we were in.
Upon entering I was greeted by 2 gentlemen at desk. Very professional and agent, Larry truly loves what he does based on his interaction with myself. Check in was quick and all basis and amentities were covered along with making sure all our needs were attend to. Very quiet and such a relaxing environment
Very dirty - entire hotel, lobby, stairs, rooms, bathroom, etc. Staff not available when you need them. Then when we told them about all the problems, someone finally helped me four days later after my stay. They was suppose to credit account for the stay, however they charged me instead for another 1-night. They claim I will be refunded, but I have not seen any refunds yet.
We came into the building at first it was nice and had a musty odor and was very hot we eventually checked in the room and it hadn’t been cleaned it was trashed the beds were unmade trash was everywhere after that the representative handle the situation okay she then found us another room and she came back and said the room was missing things and wasn’t ready.
We had been staying here at sleepinn for a min love craig at the front dest but the one with the glasses called the cops on us to night saying it was a lot of people in the room when the cops got thrre it was only 3 of us in here and we was sleep never stay there again if craig not on

2022-06-16I really like this place, it need a little more attention but for the price is fair. We went really late and the guy that was on the front desk was really attendant. The room was really clean and smell fresh. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good, not hot breakfast but they have a good variety of cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit a little bit of everything. I recommend this place

2022-05-21Great breakfast with hot items (egg and cheese omelet, biscuits and gravy, Canadian bacon), waffle maker, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, etc. The price was good and rooms clean, but there seemed to be a lot of moisture in the room. No bathroom exhaust fan, so I’m sure that’s where it was coming from. At arrival, we asked for late check out, but someone was knocking on our door asking if we were checking out. I don’t like that at all- it is a disruption that isn’t necessary. If someone asks for late checkout, inform staff not to disrupt them prior to that deadline.

2022-06-05Place needs a lot of work. Lights next to our bed did not work. Found out they were never plugged in. No outlets for them to plug into. Desk lamp did not work.Loud kids all night long running up and down hallway. I managed a Sleep Inn in Chicago and my place is better than here.

2022-02-28I booked two days for training in Marietta. I checked in and went to the room. I always pull the covers to make sure the linens are clean. To my surprise there were visible bodily fluid stains, hair and grit. On the second bed, the comforter was dirty as well. I went back down to the front counter to inform them of my findings after taking several pictures, which I am going to post. The night shift front counter agent Antwan was very apologetic when I voiced my concerns. He brought clean linens and blankets to the room. He assured me that I would hear from a member of management. That never happened. The rooms are overpriced and not worth the rates. This was by far the worst hotel experience to date. I’ve stayed at Sleep Inn a few months ago and the hotel was clean and upgraded. When I was looking at the online photos prior to booking, it had the same photos as the one I stayed in before so I assumed it was legit. It was noisy all through the night, I only saw (1) apple and a nasty juice machine for continental breakfast as I was going to training at 7:50am. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. I normally don’t give a review, but Sleep Inn on Powers Ferry Road Marietta, GA, was horrible. (Across the street from Drury Inn)

2021-12-22Stayed 2 nights here recently. Room smelled of smoke when I arrived. I told the front desk clerk but she just said okay. Room was clean and bedding was fresh and bed comfortable. Breakfast is microwavable sandwiches and cereal. Close to the freeway and restaurants and nearby grocery store. I would stay here again....great value.

2022-03-30Positive: Clean and convenient location. Room was exactly as advertised. The fridge and microwave were nice additional touches. Negative: Breakfast was included but was less than expected. Microwave sausage, egg, cheese croissants, chilled muffins and pastries, yogurt, and juice. No bread or dry cereal which was a surprise, despite there being a toaster. Still was nice to have some options

2022-04-23I called to see was my reservation in the system unfortunately, the two staff members don’t understand proper English. So, I drove to the hotel to confirm the reservation upon entering the establishment I was not greet with a smile but a frowned face by the two front desk agents. So, with the rudely frowned face the hotel had a smelly order and dirty look inside. I am so happy I changed my mind about an unprofessional establishment that I could give a zero I would. Don’t stay here!
