I overall enjoyed my experience here. It had beautiful architecture and on the inside it was very clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Bathroom which typically in public places aren’t, were incredibly clean. Overall I think this is a safe fun place to visit.

Great community center with everything you need. The are basketball courts, a running track, workout area with machines, pool tables, and conference rooms. Its very clean and spacious. City of Shrubs hosts intramural leagues here and its great for hosting gatherings.

The Smyrna community center always has something wonderful going on. No matter if youre looking for activities for your children, for the whole family or even for your business they continue to impress me with their organized events, fun and engaging activities and cleanliness of the building.

We happened across the Midsummer Night Faire. There were lots of fun booths to visit with all kinds of homemade crafts. I made my first Christmas purchase of the year. It got too hot for us to hang around until dark to wait for the lighting of the dragon and all the acrobatics, but f they do it again next year well make it a point to go later to avoid the heat. Wed definitely like to have seen the festivities. There were also several food trucks there, but we had just eated so we didnt partake in those. My only complaint is that the police werent monitoring the parking situation. We parked in a handicapped spot at the police station, and when we came out someone had parked on the blue lines next to our spot so it was difficult for us to get in our car. If I had a ramp to unfold, I wouldnt have been able to. The police should really be checking out their own parking lot when a large event is going on.

Prices for classes could be better, but they have good community programs like puppet shows, magic shows, and veggie taste of Atlanta. Convenient voting location and great parking if you arrive to big events early. Have loved ever event weve attended there. Patrons can also rent space to host events like birthday parties and baby showers. Theres a lovely walking path that circles a pond with fountain filled with ducks, geese, fish, and turtles.

Went to the Jonquil Festival today. It is one that we always enjoy and I was glad to see it back this year after missing last year due to covid. There were many vendors but not much in the way of performers. Maybe more in the spring. This festival is held twice a year, Spring and Fall. Check it out.
