Good place for events, but the vending machines were empty.
Love visiting this place to see the Columbus River Dragons!
I believe its under construction, it looks very nicely built well maintained Im excited to see it when its done.
Great place to host tournaments for softball also friendly and competent staff and the fields are nice and green and very clean restrooms

Getting to see the new Chattahoots play was great! The facilities are kept up well and there are a good number of vendors on hand. Bring your cash if you want to have a shorter line for concessions, at least thats how it was on opening day! There is also a store for souvenirs, but by the time we went in they were out of what we were looking for (a good problem to have I guess!)
Most definitely love this facility! In fact I hate that they dont utilize it like they should. Columbus is sitting on all that could be profit. The only reason I have them four stars isnt because of the facility but because of the crappy service you get from the concession. They outsource it from that bbq place and some of them act like its such a hassle to be their. And they cant keep it stocked with waters or Gatorade.
I love going to see my cousins play softball a little hot could need little more shape but other than that great
Love this place...however, due to the recent pandemic, safeguards have been put in place and the number of visitors has decreased nevertheless, many functions from graduations to skating sessions including the Greater Columbus Fair, have all been hosted here. Security during these functions has been A-1 to include metal detectors prior to ones entrance. So to present this has been a pretty safe environment for the whole family.

Went with my husband to get his Covid 19 vaccination, and it was such a quick and smooth process! I have never really had a chance to check out the softball fields as my children played other sports, but they were beautiful. There is also plenty of parking which Im sure comes in handy during the large tournaments.
My husband and I went there and got the free Covid Vaccine. We didnt get sick. Everyone should get what entitled to them. We all should do our part. Smile and show kindness.

Easily one of the best complexes Ive ever played softball at. Well maintained fields, awesome stadium lighting, concession stands... Definitely recommend for tournaments!

My daughter played softball at the South Common Softball Complex in Columbus GA. This hotel is 1.5 miles from there and easy to get to. The hotel is 10 months old. The staff is great. We stayed for 3 nights. The front desk personnel remembered our names and room number. My daughter used the business center to retrieve her homework as it was posted while we were away from school. Breakfast great. Good selection. Always fresh fruit. Fruit, coffee and cookies available in the evenings too in the lobby.They dont have security boxes to fit a laptop but they accomodated us by locking the laptop in the managers office. Room was bigger than the usual. My mom and daughter thanked me for picking such a nice hotel.
Actually was at a River Dragons Hockey Game ,, IT was Awesome those guys were playing their hearts out ,its great to be able to attend sporting events in person, Great Experience..

Very nice area. Went when everything was closed. Some people were using skateboard area. Huge pine cones.
Always a good time no matter the season event or game. That includes the football field and the civic center of course.Fields are always super well kept and the ground stays clean from trash. The bathrooms are also kept clean as well. Bathrooms are usually a scary place, but not at the fields shockingly. The ground keepers put a lot of work into that place and it is well known/noticed. Well done guys.

I love the complex but why not use the bleachers, people are already mingling. I wanted to sit down. Okay, so I have enjoyed myself so far, good ball playing

First time here, came down for a softball tournament and the fields were well kept, the park employees were friendly and the whole atmosphere was chill.
Very nice baseball complex ,the restrooms in the main central area should of had air conditioning , it was close to 100 degrees during our softball tournament this weekend.

Very nice and clean . Safety and management was very good and planned well , lines of waiting was not long at all . My visit was a great satisfying experience .
They didnt have what I needed and when an associate called a manager the manager told him they would that they did have what I needed but they didnt. So the manager didnt know what he was talking about hes going to have to be trained or something

The world baseball tournament was a great event to see. So many teams from all around the world enjoying a great game with great sportsmanship.
I was there for my boyfriends softball game last night and when i get back to my car my window is busted out and some of my items had been taken ... When the cop arrived he went on telling us that he receives about 15 calls up there a day about break ins.. I was not the only one that it happened to last night either.. Another lady was across the parking lot with the same problem... The cop also said that they cant patrol up there because it is private property.. I will definitely NOT BE BACK until this is taken care of.. There should either be cameras or some type of security.. If these people know that they can get away with this kind of stuff, they are gonna keep doing it.. Now i am having to pay for a busted window because of some low life!!! it is a very nice park but people will eventually just stop coming once their cars have been hit several times.

It was actually The Civic Center. Went there to get my 1st Covid shot and it went smoother than I had expected.
Did a softball tournament about 2 years ago its a nice park ad friendly staff
Memorial stadium, Civic center, whole bunch of softball fields they built when the Olympic games where in Atlanta and we got to host the softball games. Place where fairs touchdown, music artist, comedians,and more preform at. And lets not forget about the ice rink where you can skate, or enjoy a good Columbus cottonmouth hockey game. And for the exteme athletes we have a skate park where you can doctor up any tricks youre able to pull off.

Several baseball diamonds for young ones. Bathrooms close. Bleachers are bleachers. Hard. Bring a cushion. Good lighting for night games.

2021-11-07We play here often. Good park to play at. Bathrooms are tight at the complex along with long waits at concessions due to one person taking orders and collecting money. Recommended to walk a little further to the stadium if the bathrooms are full. They have several down there. Also, best seats to watch a game on field Six is in the stadium. Go to the top on that side of the field and look over the rail. Perfect view for taking pictures and filming.

2021-12-16A lot of trash everywhere. Homeless people and all their trappings along the River Walk. Our first time and last in that area. We will find a cleaner safer place to walk. Too bad the place has a ton of potential.
