There price is very reasonable compared to any of the other branded places. There customer service is also amazing, and I personally recommend Patrick. When we talked over the phone he was very understanding and offered to check my ATV for free to see what was wrong unlike the other shops who charge a fee. When we arrived there he diagnosed the problem in my ATV which was the axle and axle bearing. After the diagnosis we decided to leave the ATV with them to get a new axle, axle bearings, and brakes since the price was great. After seeing the how great the customer service is, we expect the quality of the job to be great. Will most definitely update when the ATV is ready!Update: I took a while to update this review because I personally wanted to test my ATV hands on. So I went to Iron Mountain Park and rode it for a couple of hours and it did amazing. I personally recommend them and the work they did is great!
Patrick and his crew are excellent to work with. Always extremely reasonable and well knowledged. Had a an insurance claim that he handled where my unit ended up being totaled. He handled everything and had the process completed quicker than expected. Highly recommend this shop for your UTV/ATV needs!!
They do awesome work, the price is lower than anywhere else, the employees are great, and have amazing customer service. I wouldn’t trust my machines anywhere else after dealing with Patrick and the guys at southern Powersports. They work on all the older machines that most places won’t touch anymore and also know their stuff when it come to the brand new machines. This is a place where you feel like an actual customer, not just a number in the computer.
I rarely write 5 star reviews for a service/parts shop. This will be a long review but I am trying to be detailed to actually help people looking for a good repair shop for quads/ATVs, side by sides, etc.I have been dealing with Patrick and his shop for over 10 years, since he had his first and second shops off W. Memorial Drive. I have taken numerous 4 wheelers, ATVs, motorcycles, etc. to him over all these years.I most recently took my youngest sons Honda dirtbike to him for an engine rebuild. My son had bought the bike off FB Marketplace and got ripped off by the seller, who sold him the bike which seized up on the first ride. This review is not about the seller but about how Patrick and his team helped us.Apparently Patrick does not work on motorcycles as much as they used to because of parts availability issues, etc., and probably due to the more prevailing ATV/SxS market, yet in spite of this Patrick offered to help us and our son out (as a side note, I and my son and our other kids usually fix our machines but sometimes time or other logistics dont allow us to, hence why we come to Patrick and his team) and I have such apprehension on trusting anyone to work on any of my cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs etc., but this is how much I trust Patrick. As an example, for my family over the years he has worked on several go-karts, a Honda 50 minibike, a Polaris Scrambler 250, a Polaris Trailboss 250, a Polaris 400, a Honda 4Trax, I cant even remember them all right now.In this instance with my sons 2 stroke Honda 125 Patrick offered to do the bare-minimum to the bike to keep the cost down and make it run, and after personal introspection and realizing the lack of fast access to parts during this Covid pandemic, as well as having an honest and attentive repair shop that we know and trust that was willing to help us out, we decided to do a full blown engine tear-down and rebuild.Patrick reminded me of the logistically slow process of getting parts lately ( almost like finding toilet paper back in the early Covid days!), but we were not in a hurry as much as we were looking to get our sons dirtbike up to snuff.Patrick and his team did not let us down. Over the course of the Christmas and New Years holiday and during a pandemic, Patrick and his team came through and delivered a rebuilt dirtbike at much less than the quoted price, as usual (Patrick is honest and always tries to give the worst-case-scenario when it comes to repair costs). All I can say is: my son is happy. My wife is happy. I am happy. As a Google Maps level 8 guide I am aware of how disgruntled employees of a business can try to slander and hurt a business by posting bogus/misleading/and entirely false reviews about an honest business. I have reported several of these reviews to Google Maps as misleading and derogatory due to the obvious personal reasons of those reviews (if you are a review reader, look at an example of a reviewer who has tried to ruin this companys reputation by posting a review about this company - when they were not even at the address the reviewer was writing about).Thats why I had to write this review the way I did to deflect any concerns about this business as I and many of my family and friends have had nothing but above-par experiences with these folks. My family and friends have the REAL experiences and memories of our business dealings with this repair shop.I have never been let down nor had a bad repair or customer service experience from this company, and this is why I am giving a 5 star review and a 100% recommendation to Southern Power Sports. Even after moving several counties away, I trust no other repair shop anywhere close to the area, and thats why I make the extra trip.Thank you Patrick and your team!
This shop is a tremendous resource for the OHV community. Patrick expertly coordinates a beehive of activity, constantly in-motion getting people back off the road. Whether you’re new on an old ATV and need to know where to take it or you’re an experienced SXS owner looking for a performance shop, these guys are worth the drive to Dallas.
One of my absolute favorite local businesses. If you have work you need done on an ATV, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Patrick and his team. Always honest with me. Always has good prices. Always willing to explain to me the details of what is going wrong with my rides and what my options are to get then running again. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. AWESOME!
Once again not dissatisfied with Patrick and his team. They took the busted up rear half of my 01 scrambler 500 4 wheeler and made it perfect again.Took a while but he made it happen. I understand nobody can make Special order or discontinued parts become available.Patrick found a way to fix it even with some parts unavailable as fast and professional as he could.I appreciate and thank them again.

2022-01-12Started off with buying tires from Patrick and since found my go to place if I need anything done to my side by side. Even if you don’t get work done he’s the go to person for knowledge and pricing on accessories. Highly recommend

2022-02-02I dropped off my 4-wheeler about a week ago, had a hand full of stuff done to it and got quoted a great price. After riding and looking it over they did a fantastic job! I would highly recommend.

2022-01-11I’ve been using these guys for years. I never thought to do a review for them as it’s been at least 4 years since I’ve needed them till today! But they are spot on and finding a reliable arc mechanic. Well it’s not fun cause a lot I’ve found in cartersville in the past will rip ya off. I’ll be calling them today cause my carb is leaking fuel and I know these guys will get my 4x4 Wolverine back to superb condition.

2022-01-31Im truly disappointed. As I dropped my 4wheeler off clean and it was returned to me caked in mud..I had to change my own oil,oil filter, and air filter. I changed my own oil qnd had to discover a striped oil plug. When I performed my own oil change I got 1.5 quarts and no where near 3.2 that it calls for. Oil was dirty and so was the both oil and air filter. Not only did I end up paying for services that were not performed. I ended up having to purchase my own parts and do my own work..Im truly disappointed in this business...
