We walked a mile from our home to have dinner. Upon arrival we were the only ones dining in. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive. The food was hot and fresh. Jerk chicken pastawas not too spicy and the salmon had great flavor. The drinks are pricey. Bring cash unless you want to pay a processing fee for your credit card.
I paid $25 for oxtail pasta. It was a to go order and when I got home to eat I was disappointed. It was 2 oxtails on my plate and a bunch of pasta. For $25 I should of got more oxtails than this. I gave a 3 star because the pasta was good.
Ive gotten oxtail from Spicy Hill numerous amount of times. The plate is well worth the price, and each time I received my plate, the food was well seasoned and cooked perfectly! I love the atmosphere here, the waiters are very nice and prompt, theres always music playing, and its so lively!
This place is right by my house and I am glad! I am a lover of plantains and they do it better than anyone in GA! And the rest of the food is good too! I have visited many times and they never disappoint!
Food was amazing! Drinks were very delicious! 4 stars because they charge over 4%just to charge your debit/ credit card and I only found out because I looked over my check. This should be posted somewhere in the menu section or in the establishment.
I had the salmon pasta. It was very flavorful and yummy. I got full so fast. So I was happy to have some leftovers. I also tried their homemade pineapple and ginger juice. Very friendly and kind people! I look forward to returning soon.
Very delicious just expect to pay a lot for your food. My husband and I ate (he had salmon pasta/water, I had curry chicken/1 mixed drink and 1 drink for my sister. It came out to $90+) with the prices so high I wouldnt order anything more. Staff is so sweet and music was great.
Ordering from Spicy Hill was an amazing experience. The energy and atmosphere is wonderful, very relaxed and efficient. I ordered the Jerk Chicken & Pineapple Ginger juice- and wouldve ordered more if I was not on a budget; it tasted incredible as promised. Ill happily be a return customer.

I arrived to this restaurant not that hungry but wanted to share a meal with my wife. This is hands down the best Jamaican restaurant Ive ever experienced. I cleaned my plate. No calorie left behind! I had the jerk salmon, veggies, and potatoes. Wifey had the vegetarian dish. The food is cooked so order so expect a wait. This isnt your usual styrofoam box joint.
Absolutely some of the best Jamaican food I have had. I have been coming here for a while now and have had almost everything on the menu and have not been disappointed. The drinks are absolutely awesome and wonderful service. You cannot go wrong. Come here and treat yourself to Jamaica in Georgia, good music, food, drinks, and service.

I visited this restaurant and was so pleased. I ordered the pasta with oxtails, ackee and saltfish egg rolls, and the cod fish fritters. Literally everything I ordered tasted great. The portions were large, the food was flavorful and the staff were friendly. I will definitely return.

My friend has been telling me about this place for months. I drove 45 minutes to try it out. We tried the pasta, curry goat, jerk chicken, ackee and saltfish rolls, curry and beef patties. The waitress was very friendly, and knowledgeable for it only being her 2nd day. Restaurant was very clean, I appreciated the fresh flowers on all the tables. The food was amazing, the presentation was amazing. Hands down the best Jamaican restaurant Ive been to in Atlanta. I wish every Jamaican restaurant could visit your restaurant and could taste the food, experience the level of customer service and take that back to their restaurants. It would be a win for the entire culture 💯

A very nice place I loooved the vibe. A much needed place in Clayton County. The food was good a lickle bit pricey for a vegetable Roti in my opinion but very tasty I must admit. I will definitely be returning just gotta get another job to afford to Lol. Try it out and they have theme nights also. 🙏🥰
Clean environment, friendly staff and so far the food Ive ordered I have no complaints. The price is a little pricey depending on what you ordered. My favorite is the Ackee saltfish spring rolls. Thats pricey but so is ACKEE.

First appearance is beautifully designed with that authentic Caribbean atmosphere. We decided to dine in as the music was most calming and relaxing. Bob Marley, Luciano, Taurus Riley, Chronnix mixed in with so original dance hall from the 80s. Ital curry was on deck. My wife had the fish and the kids had ox tail and curry chicken. All was delicious. Server was patient and attentive and most respectful. Restrooms were clean and sanitary. Very good place to bring your family. Were definitely going back. Recently moved from NYC and to find a place like this is a true blessing. Stay up Spicy Hill, way up. See you soon. Definitely.
I’m not a huge Jamaican food fan because sometimes the beans and rice are dry, the chicken isn’t cooked to my liking, or the cabbage in my opinion is undercooked. However I love this place! My daughter who is a huge Jamaican food fan has approved. We have the pleasure of having this place right down the street from us. The portions are more than reasonable. The wings with the mango salsa are so good! I love this place. The drinks are made so well and will have you feeling real good! I support their business and journey 100%staff have always been pleasant and the place is clean and very welcoming.
I am sorry for taking so long to post a review. I recently relocated to Georgia, and was craving authentic Jamaican food. THIS PLACE WAS SPOT ON! The service was great, and the food was delicious, i will definitely be frequenting, this establishment.
I love this place! They have bestttttt Dry bill pasta! It’s so freaking good. The serving size is really big for the price too so I love that. The veggie Pattie’s are also really good. The people who work in the restaurant are also extremely nice.
My friend wanted to celebrate her daughters birthday there, which was fine by me. As we enjoyed our most delicious food, the island music was pumping. So much so, that my friend got up to dance with her daughter in the isle. Before long, most of us were dancing & the owner cranked it up with some get down music, it was great. To top it off, he played Stevie Wonders Happy Birthday for her. Ive been to Spicy Hill twice & enjoyed it immensely both times. Definitely plan to go back again 😊👍🏽😋
I love this place! My friend and I dined at Spicy Hill last night. We had an amazing experience. The food was excellent! My Friend loves to eat, very selective and loves “real” food. We have been to many types restaurants but I have never seen them so excited over any food!Food presentation- excellent very inviting.Service- Excellent! Attentive and patient. Thank you Orlando! Everyone was simply great.Restroom- I just have to mention- very clean. Have NO fear.This restaurant is just comfortable, nothing but good vibes when you step inside.Thank you so much. This is my absolute favorite Jamaican restaurant in Georgia. This is coming from a guy that is firstly a Jamaican and secondly a guy that worked in the hospitality industry at the server/ managerial level for over 18 years. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return to have my usual special. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat that actually care about the way the food is presented, backed by service.
The funny thing about us finding this great restaurant is the fact that we were actually looking for another restaurant. We all had such a great experience! From the time we opened the door and received such warm welcome, to the incredible tasting food that was prepared pretty quickly. Customer service was so on point. Before we could ask for anything, it was being brought to our table. I will give Spicy Hill more than 5 stars if I could. I’m already making plans for my next visit. I highly recommend! We had the Curry Chicken with rice & peas with cabbage.Beautiful clean stylish restaurant with excellent customer service.The food was fresh & delicious.They also make a mean Bob Marley.We will be back, the bartender was very knowledgeable & friendly.
I ordered jerk chicken for my daughter and curry chicken for me. I asked for dark meat. We were served chicken backs. I havent seen chicken backs since I left the farm in south Georgia! I was expecting drumsticks and short thighs.If youre charging $14 per plate, give me short thighs and drumsticks! Also, I was assured that the curry chicken was NOT spicy. It was spicy. However, we did enjoy the rice and the cabbage. The cabbage was the best Ive had!
I Loved everything about this place! My family and I was looking for a nearby restaurant to eat at and we happened to find this great spot while driving by. As soon as we opened the restaurant door we were greeted with a warm welcome, our server was so pleasant and made certain we was not in need of anything (water, drink refills, napkins, etc.) I ordered Ackee and Saltfish with Provisions, which were new on the menu and a refreshing glass of homemade sorrel. My meal was flavorful and delicious (just like my mom homemade food). The price is very affordable, not overpriced at all, especially for the type of food served. We also got an opportunity to meet one of the chefs who came to our table to check to see if we enjoyed our meals. The restaurant and the restroom was clean. Overall, we will definitely be eating here again. Great first time experience!
Today was my first day eating from this restaurant. I was so happy to see a West Indian restaurant less than 10 min from my house that my husband and I said we were going to support them. We ordered via Door Dash. The food did get here quickly and the presentation and taste was beautiful. My biggest disappointment is that we ordered the oxtails and I literally only had 3 with small bones. I expected more meat for the price. They did not lose me as a customer but it made me feel some type of way. I want them to succeed hopefully I will have a better review in the future!

I enjoyed my food we ordered a variety of foods and all were tasty, I will say the oxtails were a bit on the small with more bones than meat but the seasoning and taste made up for it. Dont forget to ask for the fum punch my favorite,I love it. Will definitely be going back for sure.

Wrote a longer, elaborate review but lost it. Anyway, I want this place to succeed but the amount of meat is too light compared to price. I have more to spend on eating out than most people who would frequent this restaurant. If the portions do not increase or the price reduced, I do not think they will make it a year. First visit I order the brown stew red snapper the fish apparently is cooked days in advance because it was dry and tough never had thick brown stew gravy. They serve a small amount of rice and peas with the order I guess attempting to make the place pretty but I would rather have a messy plate with more rice and fish cooked when I order my food. I gave the restaurant 3 star because I want it to be a successful black business in the neighborhood

The chefs are off the chain! And Mrs D! Is as sweet and beautiful on the inside, as how shes on the outside. Spicy Hill is the best jamaican cuisine. I strongly recommend this restaurant, going there you will have no regrets. Great Dining for family, friends, associates, lovers and all. The escovich fish, curry shrimp, is the best I ever had. I’m only here to pick up an uber eats order and I was greeted by name and the chefs from what I could see were dressed so nice and the bar looked great. The food smells so good too. I’m definitely going back to try the food for myself.
I stopped by cause they didnt look busy. The food was amazingly delicious. Much better than the jamaican place around the corner thats 24hrs. I had the pork with festival and coleslaw with a side of bread pudding. Simply delicious to say the least. I will be back to try something else. My daughter also enjoyed the goat.

It was so good the salmon was so good I got the Cajun flavor it was so good I have not tried the jerk but I highly recommend the Cajun one with the veggies and mash potatoes everything was full of flavor go try it

I ordered the jerk chicken Rasta pasta (dry hill pasta) and it was really delicious and fulfilling! I also ordered a side of plantains and they were sweet just like I like them. I will be ordering from them again. My leftovers tasted just as good!!

It was a pleasant surprise. I got the Cajun Salmon with what was supposed to be mashed potatoes and vegetables (I must not have been paying attention), instead I got pasta, which turned out out to be the best mistake I ever made. Ill be back...very soon.

Actually a very nice looking place for a plaza restaurant. The visibility of the restaurant is poor so it never seems to be crowded but the food is worth it. They also have a full bar. Owner is nice.

2022-05-18Delicious Jamaican food. I had the goat curry and it was my first time having sorrel and both were great. I also had a pastry. It was a really inexpensive meal in total and totally worth coming back to.

2022-02-03Deon and Dezrick showed my wife and I so much love! The food recommendations were excellent. We tried festival for the first time but I can tell it tasted exactly how it should. The mac and cheese was very creamy. My wife had the jerk pasta. She never steps out her comfort zone but is happy with her choice! Tomorrow is my wifes birthday and Chef Dezrick made a wonderful bread puddin cake for her! The vibe and music was also great. The only downside to this restaurant is that we had to pass so many bad jamaican restaurants to get here. If you order directly from the website they will deliver as well. We will definitely be back! 2021-12-27Since moving to Atlanta I’ve been in search of really good Jamaican food. This is the BEST Jamaican Restaurant in Atlanta hands down. From the service to the food- just amazing. Even though they are about 40mins from home, I will travel the distance for the quality over and over again. The reviews truly reflect what a gem of a place this is.

2021-10-20My family and I were so blown away by the service at Spicy Hill Jamaica Restaurant located in Atlanta Georgia off Tara Rd . It makes me proud. The food was delicious. The presentation was like any 5-star restaurant. The service was also very pleasing. My family and I all left feeling satisfied with our choices. 2022-07-03My husband and I did a random Google search for food in the Hampton area and I am sooo grateful we found this place. Great vibes, good music, fantastic food. Everyone was very nice and personable. The escovitch was restaurant quality and reminiscent of my travels to Jamaica. The jerk wings and Mac & Cheese were awesome! Looking forward to our next visit!!

2022-03-02Spicy Hill is a true hidden gem! I highly recommend stopping in. We had a really pleasant server named Deon. She definitely added to the experience but the FOOD, OMG!!! Jerk Chicken was phenomenal! Huge portion and great prices! This is going to be a regular for us!

2021-09-18EXCELLENT ALL THE WAY AROUND! I was greeted with sounds from Jamaica 🇯🇲! DJ sound every Friday night! I ordered pick up and was going to grab my food and dash but I honestly didn’t want to leave. The beautiful bartender saw me struggling to open my bag. So, this sweet spirit not only opened it for me, she also brought me a mat and hand sanitizer. She told me all about the place and the VIP Club, which gets you email alerts and 10% off your first order. The waiter was prompt with clearing the trash. The chef hand delivered another customer’s meal and described it for me when I asked. That was actually his second appearance. He came out before to ask how we liked our food! This was my first time here but I will be returning. The food was hot and fresh! The vibe was welcoming. The staff is super friendly and helpful!!! I LOVE IT HERE!

2022-05-19I’m giving Spicy Hill 5 stars for good fresh food and great customer service! Deon (female) answered the phone with great customer service and had the same positive attitude when I got there to pick up my order. I had ox tails, rice & peas, and cabbage. By far not dry nor bland. I will be back ☺️

2021-11-22Me and hubby enjoyed the food! Homemade taste with fancy plating, it was truly great! And our server didn’t miss a beat! We had 2 appetizers as well but didn’t take pictures of them. Definitely will go back and 100% recommend!
