If you need to go later in the evening or at night... Drive the extra miles and go to another location or to a completely different store. Employees are rude, Customer Service closes at 8 but doesnt post it anywhere and employees just keep walking by and not saying anything.
Well for one is in walking distance from where Im at on victory drive the employees are very friendly very knowledgeable where things are if you ask them a question about anything or ask them well certain item is that would go out of their way to do it so I have a I have a good experience at Walmart thank you
Went there with my sister when they opened up in the morning. Everything was clean and getting restocked. Unfortunately since there was 2 of us we had two carts that we were filling up. As we began to check out some of the workers started watching us and even followed us outside. We are a family of 12 which includes 7 male minors. I understand we had over 400 worth of food but it was all paid for. I usually shop at this location because of the convenience to the house. They should not judge someone for stealing product when i shop there regularly. They need a training course on how to approach people, you dont know their situation.
My favorite walmart. It recently got redesigned and it makes it even better. I love that there is self checkout on both sides of the store. Employees are your typical walmart employees but thats why they have the app. Its very helpful to find things. Much better and clean than the walmart on columbus park crossing.
Compared to most of the Walmarts Ive gone to in Phenix City, AL and Columbus, GA. This one has more products in the Grocery foods. If I had to say something that needs improvement its they should stock up on More hispanic/Caribbean products, especially in their frozen food section.
This Walmart on airport stands outside at least 15 min min be4 closing turning people away saying they are closed. It’s not enough the doors went from 24 hours to shutting down at 11… when a store closes at 11 that means 11 not whenever the yellow vest employee wants to close. I wish I had a name but who ever you are shame on you.
The Walmart Supercenter off Airport is probably one of the best in Columbus. It is usually well stocked in most areas, with Toys being the exception. The store is clean, the staff are generally friendly, and getting in and out is not overly complicated.The one drawback I see consistently is the general quality of the staff. The staff does not give off a sense of pride or confidence, and I have never been impressed with their overall service. Only the Whittlsey Road location is better than this location.
Went here to return some dairy products I purchased about 2 weeks ago. The customer service rep gave me a real hard time with it, despite the fact that I had a receipt. She had to go back and talk to a manager for 5 minutes, then said all they could give me was an exchange.Ive worked Walmart customer service before and this was absolutely ridiculous. You learn return windows on day one. Plus the fresh guarantee is literally on the return guide in front of every representative. Its 90 days on almost every item. Its been over a year since the return restrictions ended. Really bizarre. I hope that red-haired rep can get it together one day.
Wasnt a terrible experience but could have been better. Biggest issue was the waiting time. I had placed a pickup order the day before, it wasnt groceries so the pick up time was for whenever I wanted to get it after the order was ready. Went the day after it was ready and spent a good 20 minutes in the pickup area waiting for my stuff. Like 5 other people showed up and there was no one bringing orders out. After finally getting my stuff I went inside to buy seeds for my garden since you cant order them online. When I got home it turned out a couple packages were broken and I lost most of the seeds from those ones. Last thing to top it off was a good/bad experience. I ended up buying hedge shears in the store. Forgot to order them online where the price was 15 dollars. Picked them up in the store and they were only 8 dollars. So if I had ordered them online, would have cost me an extra 7 bucks. Very shady.
Walmart on Airport Thruway customer service was good the workers on the floor was willing to help find items that you was looking for one guy that I talk to he couldnt tell me where the hangars was but he was willing to help me find them LOL I laugh at him because he didnt know where they was he was real sweet he was trying to help me I told him never mind I find them Im glad they have multiple wheelchairs to assist people with that cant do a whole lot of walking thats my biggest help when it come to Walmart grocery store Ill do the people do not work in certain departments at this particular Walmart they are willing to help you find whatever you looking for or they would get the person to help you that work that area
The workers here could be a bit more helpful when you ask a question. It seemed as if they were upset or having a bad day. Its stocked for the mst part but as all wiped out of something you need. Overall I wont say that I dislike the store but it needs help in a few area. Amazing how corporate only exists for current employees. You cannot get anyone for customer concerns nor any other reason.
A Walmart is a Walmart nothing special here but its a clean and great customer service.. just updating my review nothing has really changed at this Walmart its just clean friendly smile on faces and always busy as usual the lines werent this long this time I was able to get in and out and get everything that I needed...
Walmart has great prices. Their customer service is lacking. This Walmart had backups at the registers. They do have a very good selection of all kinds of items. I will continue shopping at Walmart as long as their prices beat the competitors pricing. I do not mind self checkout.
Well at first there was noone to assist my father-in-law and myself in the electronic department. Then a young lady showed up and assisted us with our purchase. My father-in-law was using one of the rider wheel chairs. As, we were leaving the store one of the employees told us that my eight year old father-in-law who uses a cain to barly get around couldnt ride the chair out to the car, because it look like its about to rain. I told him that didnt make any sense. I told him to come get the chair then. He responded that hes the only one on the door. I didnt feel like catching a case over this horrible treatment of an elderly customer. So, my father-in-law made it to the car. However, there were plenty of rider carts and regular push carts outside. Noone was retrieving them and this is why I dont like shopping at Walmart in Columbus, Georgia. There has been other incidents at this store. I will not shop there again!
Each time I go to Walmart, I say it will be the last. Checking website to see if items are in stock is useless. If you ask an associate where something is, its always not my department . Then stand in line to pay, while employees mill around trying to look too busy to help or check you out
So this walmart consistantly is dishonest on price per oz stickers. See example. So if your trying to shop the best deals its really complicated. We found this to be a problem at this walmart more than once. Im not sure if they do it because they are using magical walmart math or if they use it to move products that arent selling as well. Maybe its another reason, perhaps its just a guess by uneducated staff. Either way they are dishonest with pricing so buyers beware, I expected better but maybe expecting better from walmart was my mistake. Otherwise walmart is walmart so expect the typical experience. Makes me wonder what an audit would find. I hope management sees this and fixes this consistent problem... unless it was their idea to lie to move product. If its the latter i hope they get fired and replaced with someone more honest.
The Walmart Pickup at this location is absolutely horrible. Ive placed orders here and more times than not something is missing. I typically dont get upset because its not worth the fuss. However, today I placed a order and majority of my meats were not given. It was $30 worth of dinner meats and so I called the location 7 (SEVEN) TIMES and each times it ranged until it hung up on me. When I called the pickup customer service number I was offered a refund, but I just wanted them to give me what I ordered and paid for. Its so sad to think that during a pandemic associates there would think its okay to steal groceries from another family. Also, I understand that mistakes may happen and if that was the case....I wish the associated wouldve called me so I could get my items.
Walmart is Walmart. Most, but not all, prices are really good. Have had excellent assistance sometimes and the opposite at others. This was a positive one with a very helpful cashier. My biggest complaint is pricing. Its difficult, Im sure to keep pricing current. But, then why take away all the price check locations if you are also reducing staff availability.
For a Walmart Im surprised at the disorganization I was seeing. The isles were packed with employees either filling orders for online customers.Employees were blocking the isles. Pallet jacks were everywhere. most people werent wearing mask I couldnt tell whom was vaccinated or not. What if something fell on a customer?
There isnt a walmart anywhere that deserves more than a three and thats probably more closer to a 2 , use to be an excellent business but since they have almost no competition they treat their customers how they want instead of how they should so its a low 3 and steadily declining, maybe dollar general will expand and things start to change back to where the customer is always right.
“Manager” Lorna who is actually just a coach idk if it’s the same is the worst. They told me my photos that were taken on my phone were professionally taken and refused to sell them to us. After being in the store for two hours and I asked to talk to the next person up she said there is no one so I said okay I want corporates number 1800 wal mart she told me to call I did and guess what she def ain’t the store manager was the first thing they said to me. Based on her perception and opinion she won’t sell me my own photos that I own and is a super inconvenience since they were suppose to be Mother’s Day gifts. Walmart lost my business just because of her.
I usually hate going to Walmart because it takes longer to check out than it does to do the grocery shopping... I was surprised I went through self service and actually worked and didnt break down and I was in and out of there in like 20 minutes I couldnt believe it... Although its probably once in a lifetime experience, I hope it continues.
If youre going to be open 24 hrs a day, find a way to handle exchanges and returns 24 hrs a day. I just purchased 4.5 lbs of hamburger meat, got out to the car, smelled something funny, and its the hamburger. It was rotten and because it was 10 mins after 9pm, now I have to make another trip tomorrow to return it. And this isnt the firat time Ive purchased bad meat at Walmart. Never again.
Not very organized...... employees not helpful at all... just standing around looking dumbfounded.... some even on their cell phones.... the manager of this store should be fired.. trash on the shelves.. literal trash.. balled up napkins empty soda cans and candy wrappers..... the best part of the store is the bakery..... and the bathrooms were exceptionally and very surprisingly clean.
Come to Walmart to do some shopping took my child to the restroom my child slips and falls I told the lady that was out side the door and got told its not her problem there was no sign saying wet floor or nothing.... taking my child to the er and contacting my attorney Monday morning ... not Thier problem my but
First time in this walmart. I was impressed. Aisles all seemed stocked and zoned great. I have worked for the store manager Daniel at another walmart as a dept manager and this guy is very customer oriented and pays attention to fine detail. Short checkout time also and all departments were well staffed and they were happy to help the customers
I went in to get 5 things. 4 of them were out of stock. The one Walmart had was so far back on the upper shelf that I couldnt reach it. I walked around several isles to see if a customer service representative was to be found who was either taller than me or could give me a hand. Well, no luck. So I walked out empty handed and shopped elsewhere. The items out of stock were Old Roy moist dogfood cuts and gravy, diet Sunkist (or Sunkist zero), water enhancer pineapple mango, Lava bar soap so nothing covid-19 related.
This location is not as well stocked as others. I came to return something and there was nobody working in customer service! Four people ahead of me, I dont know how long they had been waiting. Finally someone called out to a cashier to see if anyone was working over here!! Someone came, made a call and said that someone would be there in a minute!!. I left and came back 30 minutes later and the line was ridiculous!! I left and will try another location!
I got my second vaccine... I wish I had gone there on my first one... If you havent gotten one yet make sure theyre some kind of somebody that they know how to do a shot because the second one I dont have any problems with it whatsoever my arm was a little tender for two days and that was it
So I have to use a ride cart because I have horrible back issues but of course none were available and the two they had up front were out of order. I made it to electronics where my legs started trembling and I was losing my balance a very friendly associate kindly allowed me to sit but that was getting more painful by the second they also tried to find me a rider cart but was unable to at this point standing and sitting were getting worse. I had to call 911 where the operator told me to get on the ground before I did fall. 30 minutes on the phone with 911 and not a single employee (pleanty passed and looked) asked if I was ok did I need help. As the paramedics made there way in an employee brought me a ride on cart but not before I found out they allow kids to race in them and see people who clearly dont need them using them and dont stop them. As I was being put on the bed is when employees showed interest in me. This store has a few good apples but not many
Hi Im Timothy King and my phone was stolen by Joshua Bryce Drysdale and he said he didnt take it but cops came and I had to leave but with in 1 to half hours he returned to my home around 430 am with out me knowing hide phone in snack cake shelf and left all the pages he went to opened I know this because I never knew he was in my house till a split second when he struck me out from my bedroom door it was so fast so I lose again because he knocked me out no proof but myself and God and then stole my 680.00$ pair of glasses and now the phone has returned and its saying places I havent been and atms with draws I never heard of so the same way he snuck in hes also breaking into my house and stealing my identity and identification as my my is gone so has my card on maps too places I havent been. This is the one and only True Way to get it across to the public he left phone but must have taken the service sims card out my phone cause I have no internet connection yet still a bill. I dont live at 431 Wilton street yet says I was there three times today maps is reading where he got locked up at so public know Im not going to lie and say I was at a place I was not and still no clue yet hes made it hard on me without my glasses.Shame on him he shall reap what he sowed. I got out as soon as I could. About 25 percent of employees werent wearing a mask properly (mostly not covering the nose). And about the same percentage of customers were doing the same with some people just blatantly not wearing a mask at all. What a miserable place to shop. You wont see me there again.
This Walmart has definitely fallen off over the years. You definitely have to watch your receipt because some of the cashiers will ring your items up two and three times. They are definitely not as friendly as they use to be. Just like any other Walmart, there are only a couple of registers open. Your best bet is to ring up your own items if you feel like working for free. Sometimes, you might find a helpful team member. Other times, you are on your own. Every Walmart has a different feel, its all about the location and people. Its not the worst Walmart I have visited, but I have definitely stop giving this location my business.
Normally I find what I need at Walmart. But this week I chose 2 containers marked 9.98 when I got to the counter they scanned 16.32.I spent time picking them out and time in line because I choose to pay cash.Of course I left them there and very up set.Walmart needs to ensure that merchandise is marked correctly and in the correct place.Its stressful enough during Covid-19 and we dont need unnecessary stresses at this time.
The aisles are very clean and they stay stocked up very well.Youll find a very diverse mix of people here from the shoppers to the associates🙂 Its rare if youll find things out of place here. The Walmart associates are more than happy to help WITH A PLEASING attitude if you need help finding an item.Yes the MENS bathrooms are CLEAN! And they even have a nice light airfreshener that gives off a clean and pleasant aroma. {yes dude, even in the uranials lol} Therefore if the mens rooms are this well kempt, then is safe to say that the ladies rooms are 10x cleaner.The greeters are sincerely happy to greet you and POLITELY assist you with any mask malfunctions without berating you as if you were a child.
To find a bargain for the common use items there is no better retail store than Wal-Mart. This Wal-Mart sets in an easy access and convenient location. I hate shopping but this store makes it easier.Hey Airport Thruway, good move relocating the pickup to the Garden Center side of the building. Kudos! And as a plus early Saturday morning I was able to enjoy watching the geese, pigeons, and other birds forage for food. Pleasant.
Watch out when buying Christmas stuff after Christmas when it is supposed to be on sale. Went around this morning to different Walmarts getting the Hallmark ornaments for half off. This one it rang up full price even though the ornaments had been moved to the area with the rest of the 50 percent off merchandise. The manager got rude and said Hallmark doesnt clearance their ornaments. I politely explained the other Walmarts in the area did. She then said well we a different Walmart. Then she said Well you got it from the wrong area. If you got it from the Hallmark area those arent on sale. I explained I got it from the clearance area in the garden section and she got irritated saying an employee made a mistake and these werent on sale. She refused to honor the after Christmas discount displayed by the ornaments.
Please, investigate missing delivery merchandise through the contracted delivery company (LMD).We have surveillance footage which reveals LMD never made a Walmart delivery.They even emailed us a random photo to say the delivery was completed (see attached)? Who does that?Where is the missing merchandise? 👀🧐
It doesnt matter which Walmart I got to in Columbus, Ga. I can never find anyone to help me. Its like theyre too busy talking to each other to help with finding a product or answer a question. When I do find someone to help me its like Im bothering them when I ask for their help
Great to come and get just about everything you need in one place. The prices are good. But some items you get you can get things cheater at other place if you keep up with prices. I go there trust and compare prices. I do wish they could come with a way that when you buy something amd its on sell (food, clothe, and so on) some where they will give you the difference back. They would be on top if so. It would make them different and stand out. But a great place they are helpful and seem to have someone on every aisle of the store ready to help you.
Did walmart pickup. Also went inside to grab my veggies and fruit. I like to pick out my own. Sometimes these young kids dont know what to look for! Case in point, I ordered asparagus, forgot they were on there after I decided to go in and get f&v. Picked up groceries and asparagus tips were all slimy and mushed. Yuk. Other than that, inside, the associate at the self-check out was attentive and aware.
I was let out of the car by my fiancé over by the Market entrance. I was on the side of the building when I noticed that the door leading to where you return carts was open. I walked in through it like I always do when a White, middle aged, brown hair, with glasses, employee made a sprint me for head on. She did not say “Excuse me” or anything. All she said was “You can’t come in through there” in a condescending tone and I replied “Ok” and attempted to walk out. She then followed me saying “You can’t come in through there” multiple times while WAGGING HER FINGER at me and saying “That’s a no no” like I am a dog. She was up there around 02:15pm on 01/10/21. I will be making an complaint with corporate as someone with this personality has no business being a greeter. Someone who talks down to you, is rude, and wags there finger at you like a dog. The reason I didn’t get her name was her BAGE WAS TURNED BACKWARDS.
Worst Walmart in Columbus. I had a receipt, and bought a computer with my debit card, and after realizing the computer didnt work, I tried to bring it back to exchange for another one (the same kind) and they wouldnt take the computer back. Customer service kept blowing me off and assisting other people. People that didnt have receipts, or paid cash over a month ago were getting assisted, but not me. After finally exchanging the computer (which took an hour and a half) (after asking for managers) I have the police show up at my door 2 weeks later claiming I stole the computer. I am currently awaiting a court date for this. I am extremely disappointed in this walmart, and now drive 10 mins further to simply avoid going to this particular walmart.
The parking lot was trashy. The aisles were way to close together. Where product had been cleaned off the shelf, trash was left in its stead. The poor young man left to assist anxious customers with cases of water for the Corona quarantine, was overwhelmed and should have had some back up. Poor oversight managerially. The one perk in my observation was the Subway at the front the store. It looked quiet and peaceful, a potential respite from the rest of the experience.
I couldnt get them to cash my check because they said they couldnt take the temporary copy from the DMV, they can only accept the hard copy which has the same exact information, nothing more, nothing less. Smh. A few weeks ago they couldnt cash it because the address on the check was different from my ID
If I could give it a zero I would. The store manager walks around like he lost his best friend. He never acknowledge customers when he walks around the store. Product is never in the right place where the shelf tags are. At least a few associates speak when you walk by them. There catch phrase Everyday low prices is all they offer. Customer service is not one of them
This has to be the worst Walmart Ive gone to. How can a company have employees throughout an entire store not doing anything but have 1 or cash registers open that take 7 mins to ring up 1 person with minimal items? Bring back self checkout hire more security to monitor it if needed
Walmart supercenter is awesome😎 they have just about everything that you can imagine but that particular day I went and picked up a online order and B12 the workers are very friendly and very 🙂 nice because I couldnt find what I was looking for and they was very friendly to help me because Im a herbally person 😁
This super center has many self checkouts and scan and go’s!!! It’s super easy to use and beats waiting in a line that move at the workers pace. Everything is easy to locate and deals are good around this season. However- the instant print was down and there wasn’t a worker in the printing section.
By far, this is my favorite Walmart. Its better organized, clean, and theres always someone nearby to ask if you need assistance. I see the same friendly faces every time I visit this Walmart location, which tells me, they take pride in there job. They usually have express lanes open, in addition to, self checkout and maybe a couple of regular lanes which is great.
I love Walmart every time I come to my grandma house always go to Walmart like I wish I could literally live in Walmart because like they got everything like I got medicine like my clothes shoes that are food toys everything you can really imagine that phones tablets bike toys repairing stuff and everything you can really just fight have I just really like one I really do want to live inside Walmart I want to hear this at Walmart Catholics going to be a good experience one day Im going to be YouTube and I spent 24 hours inside Walmart see how it is and Ive been a really good cuz I got people over there that guy I got covers everything white Walmart just home
We understand that walmart has changed it hours to close at 830. we do not need to be reminded that you close at 830 every minute. literally every minute the time is now 825 and Walmart will close in 5 mins... the time is now 826 and Walmart will close in 4 minutes... are we children???.Walmart needs to just go back to normal hours to avoid this mess.
When a customer has a big item from pickup, it would be wise to have more employees to assist a customer to help them take a large item to their car. Its not wise to have a customer to continually wait while you try to hunt someone down. The pickup area is always prompt and courteous. Have a nice day!
Went to the deli today, 5 workers behind the counter, 4 people waiting, not one of the workers even looked up to acknowledge us. How rude, so after 5 minute I just walked out. Called and spoke supposedly to the deli manager and they put me on hold. After 3 minutes, I hung up. Someone at Wal-Mart need to teach customer service!

2021-12-28The prices are great. Selection is good. Produce is hit or miss. Customer service is usually terrible. Thankfully self checkout keeps you from having to face a cashier that makes you feel like they hate you. Asking for assistance here (or any Columbus Walmart) makes me anxious because of the negative attitude I often have to face.Edit: they have remodeled their bathrooms and its amazing! Especially the gapless stalls. Im very impressed.

2022-05-03Terribly managed and its 70/30 on if an employee will actually assist you or not. Ive been told I dont work in that department, or nobody is working that department so nobody can help you. Asked for help today the lady helped me but never stopped texting long enough to say a single word not even your welcome.They wont hire felons but maybe they need to. At least most felons have a good night work ethic.P.S. to the management. Your employees seem to be too overworked to help customers

2022-06-15Watch your prices. BP machine scanned $4 more than marked, scanned for $36. I am sure more things are ringing up more than marked on the shelf! Check you receipts and what their priced at on the shelf.

2022-06-18Today will be the last time I come to this location. An African American lady with short hair that stood at checkout on the side where you enter for appliance entrance is, left where she was standing to stand right next me and watch me ring up every last item . She literally was in my face staring. I have never been so humiliated in my life. The fact that she did that and even had the assumption that I was stealing is baffling and it actually brought me to tears as I left. Everybody doesn’t steal.

2022-06-21Inadvertently left 2 cases of juices which the camera showed was collected by the customer behind me. After waiting the manager decided that I could not be recompensed or given the juices. Reason the cashier spun the bag holder and I was the one who left it. No responsibility on the part of the cashier to assist in seeing to it the customers get all their bags 🙄. They just crunch the numbers and thats it.

2022-07-01After shopping I realized my phone battery had died. I unfortunately do not have a vehicle and have to rely on taxi cabs. I asked customer service to call a cab or if a team member could PLEASE call me a cab. The answer was No!. I had spent all the money I had on groceries so I had to return return the roast beef, cereal, and milk so I could buy a charger so I could charge my phone at Wal-Mart and call a taxi. It was 100 degrees out this day so I charged my phone and waited over an hour for radio cityTo pick me up. I am very disappointed in the lack of empathy the empress of this Wal-Mart had.

2022-05-15This Walmart sucks ! The employees are all lazy as hell I had a pick up order one of my items they just canceled because they said they didn’t have so I went inside and looked myself and it was on the shelf they just didn’t feel like carrying it back. Then another item I ordered they didn’t substitute it or tell me they gave me a whole Nother item that was three dollars less than what I purchased in the first place I will never order stuff online with Walmart again!

2022-06-01I bought birthday gifts for my 9 yr old here last night. Although it was late the 2 ladies in the electronics were fun and engaging and soooo helpful with the Nintendo things the birthday boy requested. Walmart needs to clone those ladies.

2021-12-30This store was recently updated. The restrooms are beautiful. With improved stall privacy. I was there late evening when the stock crew was busy getting goods onto the shelves 😃! Its an adventure finding what you need 😃 if youve not been in Airport Thurway Walmart lately! But before long youll be familiar, by going regular. 😀❤. Friendly, helpful customer service. Just ask and theyll assist you! Clean environment! Fresh fruits and vegetables.
