Our 5-day, 4-night stay started out fine. We were in room 109. Arrived Thursday. Quiet location. Our room was straightened and towels replaced on Friday afternoon as normal. Returning on Saturday afternoon found that the beds were not made and no clean towels. Called the front desk about 4 PM. A bag of towels were dropped off at our door. On Sunday before we left for the day at 10 AM, we asked the front desk for clean towels and please freshen the room again. When we returned at 5 PM, the room had not been touched. We notified the front desk again. About 6 PM a bag of clean towels was left at our door. Room was not straightened again. We collected a pile of dirty towels and brought them to the front desk as they were in our way. We also brought the waste basket to the front desk, as it had not been emptied since Friday and was now full. Seems the housekeeping staff stopped cleaning the rooms after Friday. By the time we left on Monday, the staff only entered our room once. This is unacceptable for a Marriott brand. Responce from the front desk at checkout was Well tell housekeping about it. Also on the weekend, the hotel was busy. All day and night we heard room doors slam shut. We counted 7/minute. Inconsiderate guests but the door check mechanism causes the door to slam each time it closes. That needs to be fixed. Slamming doors do not make for a quiet stay. We also noticed mold at the left corner of the tub/floor/wall joint in the bathroom. That needs to be cleaned. Signs asked guests to wear masks, which we happily did and so did the front desk staff, but we noticed housekeeping attendants in the hallways without masks. This was a disappointing stay at a Marriott. We will not book a SpringHill Suites hotel again!
Location was great (close to my job and near so many restaurants), room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff was super nice, especially Randolph (so friendly!) and Caroline (gave a lot of good suggestions and answered my questions. She also had some items fixed in my room while I was at work-veey efficient). And best part, didnt smell like marijuana like the previous NON-SMOKING hotel I stayed at in Columbus a few weeks ago.Very pleasant and safe experience. Superb hospitality. Thanks so much. I recommended this hotel as our go to location for co-workers.
My stay was awesome the room had a scent that was so welcoming the front desk staff was phenomenal; I was there for one night and call the front desk to ask for housekeeping, I was informed that they do not clean unless I have been there for more than two days so I ask could the housekeeper just pick up my Linen and they agreed upon returning to my room the housekeeper, can’t remember her name she has the dreads though, but she cleaned it and brought me new linen; now that’s what you call great customer service, going above and beyond for the guest, I would stay here again when I visit Columbus, and the desk clerk that was in training WOW keep her she knew my name, she would speak when she saw me and made sure that my stay was Great! As a manager of hospitality I AM PLEASED!!!!!
All of the employees were extremely friendly. Sharon, with one eye on her customers and the breakfast stocks, suggested activities to us, every one of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast includes forms of protein! The arrangement of the rooms is clever, and the small, easily moved tables provided flexibility of use.
This upscale hotel is one of the Best. We travel all year round due to softball and leisure time for family. It accommodated us very well. We will be back several times this year. Outstanding customer service, cleanliness, and all. Just provide a better breakfast with Covid19 restrictions. Overall, outstanding place to stay with so many places to eat, shop, or anything else surrounding the hotel.
This hotel provided a very sub par experience. The outside and inside public areas were dirty and worn. Our stay began with a clogged toilet which we had to have a member of the staff plunge before we could settle in. The room curtains were stained and did not close properly allowing light in from the parking lot and making it difficult to sleep. The mattress was uncomfortable and rolled toward the middle like a taco. The bedding did not fit properly and starting coming off as soon as we sat on the bed. The drains in the kitchen and bathroom drained VERY slowly. Oddly there were no utensils or plates included in the kitchenette like we accustomed to finding. The internet TV had something wrong with the sound making it completely distorted so we gave up trying to watch anything and went to bed. I requested extra towels in the app, but none were provided and I was just too tired after hours on the road to request more. The staff was friendly, but this was just not the typical Marriott experience. VERY disappointed!
I booked 5 rooms for this stay with my family as we were in town for white water rafting. After checking in, one room had to be reassigned due to linen not being clean on one bed and one room didnt seem to be completely clean, i.e. there was a full trash can in the cabinet beside the refrigerator. I had also requested extra linens, i.e. I noted in my reservation there would be 4 people/room but the extra linens were not provided and when I called down the extra linens were not available at the time but it was between midnight and 2am when we checked in so it was ok; when we checked in the linens provided were for 2, i.e. 2 washcloths and 3 towels. I shared all my findings with the front desk who was more than apologetic and in speaking to the manager, Theresa, at check out, her sentiments were the same. I was offered points at a courtesy; I am waiting to see how many. The stay itself was pleasant where we all felt safe/secure, breakfast was as expected for a hotel....not the greatest but decent enough to start the day and the attendant was really nice. Of note, there were a number of food places within the area, Walmart and Sams were across the street in walking distance and 2 restaurants were in the same parking lot. Of note Marriott, you may want to put a HOT sign up by the waffle maker. Thats all I can think of for now.....long story short, would I stay again....yes.
The customer service was awesome. I came across a worker by the name of Ms Annie, in the hall way as she was going from room to room cleaning. She asked me how was my stay so far and she said that she hope that we have a great stay. She was very pleasant and courteous.
Love this quiet, little hotel. The room is fantastic. Very spacious with a great sitting area. When I turned down the bedding there was a clump of hair, under a pillow, but it looked to have been washed with the bedding. I did notify staff and they were quick to want to fix it.
722-724/2021: The front desk staff... needs to be more professional dressed and customer friendly.Housekeeoing staff is NOT cleaning the bathroom properly. The white shower curtain had red bacteria marks on the end.. Tub had dirty scumb marks!! The towels are GREY AND DINGY!! Bathroom in need of renovation in tub region.I am very DISAPPOINTED with this property!I recommend general manager to do random inspections of rooms.I would never stay at this property!!
Very dissatisfied with this hotel. I’ve stayed there several times a year for multiple years. Last two visits I had issues. 3 weeks ago I was told I would have a rollin shower, which was confirmed by the hotel when I called directly. It turned out to be a tub room with no shower chair and I was unable to bathe. My trip this weekend was booked in advance and I did get the rollin shower but there was a lot of mold/mildew, the shower chair was missing the rubber leg piece, there was no floor mat and no hair dryer. We had to leave before 10:00 that next morning so I stopped by the front desk and advised of the issues and was assured they would be taken care of. We got back to our room around 10:00 pm and nothing had changed. Very disappointing. We were supposed to go back to this hotel next weekend too. I’ve canceled my reservation and switched to another hotel that is further from family. This hotel has gone downhill in both cleanliness and service.
Room was clean and comfortable.Very friendly desk attendants.Exterior of property very neglected, landscaping FULL of weeds, makes bad impression.Great location.Fresh coffee only available first thing in morning, cold old coffee in carafe after mid-morning all 4 days I stayed, disappointing.Yogurt was only breakfast offering.
How did our New Year stay go? Horribly! Housekeeping was very unprofessional by having inappropriate conversations in the hallway. They even discussed on how they weren’t going to thoroughly clean certain rooms because the guests only stayed there one night. We found trash under our beds from previous guests as well. Also, they had linen laid out in the public seating areas in the lobby to be folded for future guests. Housekeeping never cleaned our rooms. We had to get clean towels from the desk agent after returning for the night. I have pictures and video as well. We will definitely not stay here again.
AJ at the front desk was amazing. She make sure that an issue I had was quickly resolved and has great customer service skills as do all of the staff at this location. The rooms are clean and modern and the beds are absolutely amazing. I have fibromyalgia and chronic pain however I slept like a baby because the bed was that comfortable. Easy access to and from the interstate and tons of shopping and eating options around this hotel make it a great location to stay at.
I will never book a room at the Spring Hill Suite in Columbus GA again. They do not communicate well at front desk. You dont know what youre being charged until you check out. The room rates we received at the time of booking was not what we were charged at all. We over paid for a crappy hotel and service.
Came in town for a not so uplifting reason, to pay respect to my old brother who passed this prior week. I booked my room under a corporate rate and was ready to check in at 11:30 but, for some reason the discounted rate no longer was showing up. Instead of being met with an attitude or great resistance I was greeting with a smile and amazing customer service. Ttoria tried assisting me in getting my reservation back on my phone. At the end of the day I wasnt able to use the discounted rate since I got in so late but, the customer service was more than enough to keep me.uplifted to stay without it. Thanks so much Ttoria for your perfessional approach with just the right amount of customer service. 😁
Nice hotel in a good area with lots of shopping and restaurants .. however, one of the mattresses in our room needs to be replaced because it did not provide any support for your body while you sleep. This resulted in a restless night of rest which is what you look for when staying in a Marriott property. Ive already shared this with the property owner so hopefully Management will replace this mattress and others that may fall short in delivering rest and relaxation to their future guests.
When you show up and something goes wrong this hotel will do whatever it can to help your stay be pleasant and friendly. Best accommodations for a trip in Columbus Ga and everything you need is so close you could practically walk! Walmart, Ross Marshall hair food everything u name is right there. Enjoy and Have Fun here!
I have a practice in Columbus GA and come to Columbus a couple of times a month for business. When I come, I stay at the Springhill Suites in Phenic City which is across the bridge from Columbus GA. I totally love the ambiance, the cleanliness, and the Superb customer service by all the employees especially Ms. Alex. Ms. Alex goes over and beyond to make sure your stay is a great one. I definitely recommend this hotel.Precious
Not what I expected from a renowned Marriott brand. Took forever to check in because the hotel’s computer system wouldn’t accept payment via my card. I’d already booked through my Bonvoy account that already had everything loaded, still took forever. Room was average at best. Netflix, Tubi, YouTube etc didn’t work in the room due to server issues. Exterior needs repainting for sure. One of the poorly maintained hotels. Only positive was that the staff were friendly but nothing much they could do. Hilton next time!
Overall, the hotel is nice and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast staff was cordial, and breakfast was quite amenable. I would suggest that they review the fresh fruit. The strawberries seemed a little old and out of season. Otherwise the other breakfast was satisfying! Upon initial review, the room appeared very nice, neat, and clean. After lying down for the night, I realized that my sheets, pillow, and pillow cases were not so fresh. They smelled of old sweat as if they had not been changed. I’m not sure if they had not been changed or if the washing machines are not efficient. The towels seemed clean enough and as expected from the average hotel. However, as mentioned, the pillows and pillow cases were not. I expressed my concern and new pillows and cases were brought to me. I have already booked this hotel for three more weeks of travel before I realized the concern, so I hope this is rectified for my next few weeks of stay. I asked an attendant to note my account, but I’ll also bring my own pillows and pillowcases for my next stay. Lying on seemingly unclean sheets is uncomfortable and unexpected when staying in a Marriot hotel chain.
Our room was on the third floor next to the elevator. It was very quiet. The sitting area was comfortable for 4 people. The front desk kindly extended our check out by 2 hours. The location was safe and well lighted in the evenings. For the cost it was a very good value. My only complaint is we did not get daily maid service. I asked for towels one day. We ran out of toilet paper by the end of our 4 night stay. That would not stop me from returning again to this hotel. It is a good hotel.
This hotel is one of the best Marriott properties to which I have ever stayed in. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by a warm friendly and helpful staff. They quickly got me checked and showed me to my room. The room was very spacious with living room area, mini bar with refrigerator and place so snacks. There was a nice desk and comfortable sectional to relax. They offer free parking which felt very secure as there is only one entrance and exit to the hotel. The free breakfast was a nice treat to avoid having to leave the hotel
Very disappointed at Springhill. The clerk at Checking was not welcoming. The gentleman has no clues of customer service skills. Either he needs training or pay raise. Nothing was acknowledged during my checking. All he said is ID card and method of payment. I am sorry but I am not staying there anymore. Also I have rate change issues about my reservation. Good luck
We were so happy with our stay at SpringHill Suites Columbus! The hotel rooms were spotless and well appointed. We loved the vanity area outside the bathroom and the storage cupboards for snacks. The property itself was well maintained and close to many restaurants- some within walking distance. The hotel staff was EXCEPTIONAL! The front desk staff worked tirelessly to ensure the comfort of their guests. Thank you for all the ways you helped us celebrate our soldier’s Commissioning into the U.S. Army!
Our overall stay was great. Rooms were clean and well stocked with all necessities. Jennifer from the front desk was amazing! Her customer service is impeccable with making sure we didnt need anything and even ensured we had an easy, smooth check-in and check-out. I appreciated her so much, I hugged her each time I saw her during our stay. We will be staying a Spring Hill Suites more often b/c of Jennifer. Thanks a bunch,Ashley Ford
All staff was very professional, nice and polite. Made all of us feel very welcomed. One of my girls had a little mishap in the room but the front desk attendant came up immediately to help us. The housekeeper staff made a Birthday basket for my daughter which she loved and I thought that was so sweet. The lady that was working the complimentary breakfast was also very nice and sweet. Highly recommended.
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The rooms were very spacious - the sitting area with the sectional and extra TV and kitchen area were all awesome. The front desk people were friendly and efficient and there was this wonderful woman in the breakfast room every morning who helped everyone nonstop and even sang a song to us the morning of our nephew’s graduation from Boot Camp! She made our visit exceptional! I would recommend this property without reserve!
The suite is just a hotel room. Tiniest refrigerator ever and no freezer. No eating utensils or paper towels. Worst breakfast: eggs terrible; no breads/pastries; only cereals were frosted flakes and fruit loops; only fruits were green apples; prepackaged orange juice was poor; waffle maker undercooked the waffle. This is late May 2021 with hotels and restaurants back open. The breakfast amenity needs a lot of work!
My husband and I stayed at SpringHill Suites in Columbus Georgia for one night We wanted to go shopping and it was so close to all the shopping places and restaurants We loved our nights stay at SpringHill Suites Everyone we met was so nice to us Patricia at the front desk when we arrived and departed was so sweet and professional. We enjoyed talking with her and she made us feel at home. Our suite was so nice, clean and large and very comfortable king size bed. The breakfast area was very clean and nice. The food was delicious. We loved our stay at SpringHill Suites in Clolumbus and we plan to stay there again in the near future.
When I arrived at the hotel I was immediately greeted by the receptionist. She was very helpful and accommodating to my family and I. My room was very clean and hair free which is my biggest pet peeve. The sheets were stain free. All the staff I came in contact with was very friendly and willing to help in any ways. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is in a great location it is near all food restaurants and stores. Everything is at your convenience in this area.
I was here to spend time with my soldier. The room was close to the pool , close to parking so that I could get to my car in a timely manner with having 2 children under three it was very easy to do being that I was able to reserve a bottom floor room. The hotel was in a great location near plenty of different resturaunts and plenty of shopping also very close to sand hill for all you Infantry familys and short drive to the main gate at Ft.Benning for soldiers and their familys in general!!! They offered plenty of towels and plenty of sheets to keep my room as fresh as I could for him. It was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! We had eggs, sausage, coffee, oatmeal with several toppings for the kids and plenty of juice. Im actually cancelling my reservation for next month that I have with a different hotel and Im rescheduling to stay here again instead! I felt at home even in a new place and I wasnt worried being in this part of town.... nothing shady or concerning it was well maintained, parking lot was well lit and clean, I never went a day without talking face to face with someone who was busy doing something be it cleaning, mopping, taking care of a customer, or picking up the grounds. They stayed busy, but the staff was never too busy to notice and speak to me and the kids and my husband with care and respect. Very wonderful staff and service.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Springhill Suites Marriott, this is a cleaned hotel with a friendly staff. The comfort of the bed was almost better than our own bed at home; also, the room smelled fresh. The website posted pictures and it was exactly like the features in person. I will truly stay at this Suites when we visit Columbus, Georgia again.
There was a mix up with our room. The gentleman at the front desk noticed the mix up right before we arrived and was on the phone talking to the manager trying to get a resolution when we walked in. He resolved the issue promptly. He was proactive, professional, kind, apologetic and friendly. He never lost his composure even though he was the only one at the desk and there were several guest waiting to be served after us. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and our room was large and clean!
Overall did not have a great experience here. When we checked in there was nobody at the front desk. The maintenance man found our keys on the desk where the clerk had left them and handed them to us. The first room we were in was 327. It was 63 degrees when we got in so we turned the heat up so it would come on. It never came on so we called the desk. They sent the maintenance man and he said there were motion sensors in the room and to wait 10 minutes and it should come on. It never did. We called back to the front desk and they assigned us to another room. The heat was working in this room. Both rooms had the same mattresses in them which were a lot more firm than I prefer. Softer mattresses and bigger pillows would have been better. The shower worked very well and the height of the head was very accommodating for taller people.
Overall, services were excellent! I love the decor, the cleanliness of the room, the cleanliness of the hotel, the breakfast was ample and deliciious, love the double closets, loved the comfort of my bed, loved convenience to shopping, restaurants and to downtown attractions. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The cookies and lollypops were a great touch to show care and love and customer service. Loved easy use of computer in the lobby(forgot my computer). The clerk, Renee, was extremely helpful and friendly and caring. The housekeeper, Tracey, went out of her way to meet my needs. I will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to my family, friends, and co-workers. I loved my stay!!!
We were in town for my sons Army basic training grad & family weekend. This hotel turned out to be a great choice. He came back to the hotel with us so it was great to be able to hang out in the lobby sitting area or our rooms sitting area with him & family:)The bed was super comfortable!Great location close to lots of shopping & restaurants. Neat park, & downtown Columbus not too far a drive! Staff of this hotel were so friendly & nice. The pool area very small & maybe some carpet could be updated...my only negative. I’ll Probably stay here again when we pick my son up!
This was a nice property and a great location. I usually stay closer to CSU when Im in town but always like trying new locations. This is near a lot of retail including a strip mall with Sams Club, WalMart, Ross, Marshalls, Barnes and Nobles and others nearby. Zoes Kitchen and a few restaurants were in walking distance. Id stay here again if the price is right! Nice staff too ☺️
We needed a place to stay before surgery of a family member. The location of this hotel is EXCELLENT! Everything is close by and easily accessible. The rooms are large and comfortable. Staff is accommodating and friendly. We always stay at this hotel when in Columbus. We usually dont have any problems, but this time we did have problems. The staff courteously and respectfully resolved the issues immediately. Bring plenty of your own supplies for personal hygiene as the room supplies are tiny samples.
I would highly recommend the SpringHill Suites in Columbus if you are looking for a comfortable, yet inexpensive place to stay. Compared to other hotels in this class, SpringHill Suites is outstanding. The staff was very professional and courteous. The receptionists at both the day and evening shifts were warm and welcoming. The rooms have a nice sitting area that also has a mini refrigerator and a microwave oven. They even supply paper plates and plastic utensils - something other hotel like this do not do. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The A/C unit is a little noisy but not too bad. These rooms are larger than most other hotels in this class as well. The lobby was decorated for the holidays very tastefully. The decor in the lobby is modern and nice. The breakfast room is clean and comfortable with a large screen TV. They offer a continental breakfast with some hot options which was really nice. The gym is tiny. Only has an elliptical trainer and two treadmills, but at least they were clean and in good working order. They have a pool as well, but I did not use it.
It was a great place to stay. We were in town for graduation at Fort Benning and it was very accommodating overall. Their staff is amazing and super attentive as well as always keeping a smile on their faces. They helped me with every question I had as well as made sure I had everything as needed when asked. Jamile was amazing throughout our whole stay.
Was clean and comfortable and near restaurants. Most of staff was super nice.Breakfast was not as tasty as I would have liked, but it was something to get us going early in the morning. Beds need a cushioned mattress pad under the sheets to give it more give for those with bad backs.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights recently and have nothing but praises for both the staff and the facility. Every employee that we came into contact with was pleasant and courteous. Note: It is a little hard to locate the hotel initially as the GPS kept taking us to Lowes but once we checked their website there were very specific directions. The hotel was clean and had been updated in many areas. The rooms were comfortable - we stayed in a double queen - which would easily accommodate a young family. The breakfast area was very clean and the food that was served was very appetizing and thoughtfully prepared. Plenty of juice and hot coffee!
The staff was super friendly with great personality, but thats about it. The attention-to-detail and level of service to anticipate a guests needs were not present, and the overall appearance and feel were lacking. I would only recommend staying ONLY because of the staffs personality and friendliness. However, though, its smack-dab in the middle of everything you need in Columbus, so all of the restaurants and amenities are less than 2 miles from the hotel--if thats important to you.
The hotel itself is fine. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I did not receive any appreciation for elite rewards status at check-in. The internet was too poor to stream, and I had to use mobile hotspot. The breakfast was basic but served the purpose. The workout area only has 3 cardio machines, no free-weights or multi-station machine.
This hotel is amazing. From the minute I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile, very friendly and attentive to staffing. I could not have asked for a better stay. I felt very warm and welcomed in to the hotel. Location is great for dinning and shopping. A lot in walking distance. The only problem I had was I wished I could have stayed longer. But the hotel and staff is wonderful.
I am a very meticulous person and I have experienced issues at several hotels. This hotel overall is a really great place to stay. I did not experience any issues during my stay. The rooms were very clean, spacious and very accommodating for business or pleasure. The front desk associate was very helpful and friendly. The overall stay was GREAT and I will definitely stay again when I am in the area.
The property is going through a must need renovation and updating of the overall decor. The staff remains professional and polite despite the new faces. The room was clean and the new decor looks great. The lobby and breakfast area looks chic and modern. Overall the property looks great and fresh.
I was pleasantly surprised by how great this Springhill Suites was! The rooms (suites) are updated and stylish, customer service is fantastic, rates are extremely fair, and its conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, amd area attractions. Most importantly in todays world; the room, lobby, and common areas of the hotel were all exceptionally clean.Im a platinum member with Marriott, and of all their hotels that Ive stayed at in the Columbus area, the Springhill Suites is by far the best!
We have stayed at several hotels in the Columbus area, and this one exceeded them all. I am a bit of a hotel snob, as I used to travel for business, and this hotel had polite and helpful staff, a clean and well appointed lobby, an excellent breakfast with amenities like coffee and fruit available 24/7, and well designed and spacious rooms, with a living room/kitchen area and separate bedroom area. The inside of the hotel looked new and the king sized bed was very comfortable.
Great value for price. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Beds were super comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was excellent. Location was very convenient lots of restaurant and shopping choices within walking distance. Definently exceeded our expectations.
I have had great experiences at SpringHill Suites in the past so I booked this stay with confidence. I was disappointed with the hotel for a few reasons:1. Elevator carpet was stained and dirty.2. Room door did not close and lock on its own...you have to pull it closed... Room 2313. Food from previous guests was found in the microwave4. Television reception was not good...looked like some electrical interference of some sort...none of my stuff was on5. Wall unit A/C was a surprise and noisy...usually reserved for lower end hotels. 6. Bathtub drained very slowly. Tried to figure out if it was closed and it wasnt... just very slow draining7. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. I actually still have a sore back from sleeping on this hard mattress. Never has this been the case before!I try to stay at only Marriott properties because you can count on a certain quality and this was far below my usual experiences. Staff was courteous and friendly
Customer service was the best. Beautiful hotel, up to date and clean. Only negative was the breakfast was toooooo manufactured. Tastelike the worst powdered eggs, meat taste was unrecognizable - like Styrofoam. Of its a cost issue for breakfast, have a smaller selection with better quality.
Great hotel Ive stayed at this location for the last five years while attending the Fountain City Classic. The location is great for all of your needs the staff are awesome (old and new) the rooms are spacious and clean and did I mention free breakfast. I brought my family with me this year and they are making plans already for another stay. Jazzmi
I am a business traveler and it is very important to me that my hotel is stress free. That is what I experienced at the SpringHill Suites Columbus. From the time I am greeted at the front desk until checkout, I feel at ease and comfortable. I have always said that if anything can go wrong, it will at the front desk. I can honestly say that is not the case at this hotel. The front desk is efficient, friendly and personable. Of note, Casandra and Alan are true professionals and make me feel like family...or better yet, like old friends who you can trust and be comfortable with. The entire staff at the hotel are just very special to me and I look forward to returning.
The hotels elevator carpet looked very dirty like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. The stairway was dirty and carpet was needing repair. The hotel staff was folding laundry in the lobby one morning instead of using the laundry room. I will not be using this hotel in the future.
I was in Columbus for business and am a Marriott rewards member. This hotel was very nice and neat. Lobby is updated and Staff were all very friendly and always spoke, including housekeeping. Check in was easy (I did not have a reservation). The rooms are spacious with a separate living and bed area, along with an area with coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave and sink. Nice big TV as well. The hotel is located near restaurants and shopping areas. You can walk to many. The breakfast was ok. The only negative I had (and its not the hotels fault) is the man in the room next to me snored all night and I could not sleep. I would however recommend this hotel.
I was travelling because I had just lost a close family member and I was grieving terribly. The staff treated me so respectfully and the day after I checked in one lady saw me in passing and she remembered my name and asked if I needed anything. That alone made me feel so welcome at this hotel. It was proof to me that they genuinely care about their guests. Everything else about my stay went great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
I checked into the hotel around 11pm. My and my boyfriend were exhausted from visiting family and traveling. We go to our room and there is a bag on the bed and the tv is on. Obviously this was already someone’s room. We go back to the front desk and let them know the issue. We get a key to another room. We go to that room and there are two double beds in the room. We booked a king room online. We go back to desk and we finally get a key to king room. We go to sleep and we think all is well. We try to turn on the tv and it doesn’t work. We were going to extend our stay but we decided to leave. We told the front desk about what we had be through when we left. We got no apology or anything. I used to work for Marriott and I have stayed at many Marriott properties. This experience was by far the worst. The hotel itself was nice. The service was horrible. We travel to the Columbus area often and I was hoping to make this my go to hotel. Not anymore. Oh and the toilet stopped flushing.
Stayed in a one-bedroom suite with a king-size bed. My wife and I very much appreciated being able to check in early. The check-in clerk was very accomodating. The bed mattress was especially comfortable. I especially liked the wall extension that separated the computer desk and the bedroom. I was able to get some work done without disturbing my wife while she slept.
Nice Stay. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed. If your neighbors where loud so was your room, but you didnt notice anything if everyone was being respectful. The rooms are a nice size with a sort of seperate sitting area. I liked how the room had a micorwave and a small fridge for food. Breakfast was your standard free hotel breakfast but on weekends they have a waffle maker. This hotel is VERY close to the shopping center and movie theater (all within walking distance). Overall a good experience
Very overpriced, especially for what it was. The shower in our room did not work properly. Either the water remained ice cold or it remained scolding hot. There was no in between. The cleaning services did not come 2/3 days we we were there and there are no signs posted explaining the chasing schedule or why its not daily. We ran out of tissues on the first night and never received more. The bed was not very comfy and the room setup is awkward. The breakfast was okay. Stuck too cereal which is kind of hard to screw up.The staff was friendly when we encountered them. Not worth the money.
I typically don’t write reviews because I’ve never really had an unpleasant Marriott stay however I am slightly disappointed with my stay and here are the reasons why: 1. I booked a King suite for two nights. Super excited to have the extra space and a whole king to myself. I get to my room and it’s two double beds. I went downstairs to ask them to doublecheck my reservation. The front desk lady told me they were oversold on Kings and had to put me in a double. Why wasn’t this said upfront? Super disappointing. 2. The rooms are okay. Not super upgraded as I’m used to. My room door is hard to open/close as if it’s too big for the door frame. The air didn’t seem to work in my room even after I set it to 68. But The most disappointing were the hard beds - super uncomfortable. What happened to the plush beds?! This just isn’t the Marriott brand I’m used to, regardless of Marriott class there’s typically a standard and Marriott is usually on point across the board. Disappointed that Marriott usually exceeds my high expectations but not this time.
This hotel is situated in a perfect location! The mall and many restaurants are in walking diatance. The staff at this hotel was extremely friendly and welcoming! Coming from Southern California it was a breath of fresh air to have experienced staff/workers with such a positive attitude and made a family of 10s (including one recently graduated soldier of the Army who was allowed 6 hours of family time) overall stay perfect! Keep it up!
The staff at this hotel are very rude. The hotel is barely a 2 star hotel. That is the level service you receive. They will change your reservations and charge you for it. They will kick you out of your room without reason even after calling confirming and receiving an email confirmation. Do not stay at this hotel, the managers are rude and do not care how they represent the Marriott brand.
Rooms are nice and clean. A bit more spacious than the average hotel with a sitting room and two closets. Water took longer to get hot than in used to in hotels but this site is under renovation. Pool out back, and located around a lot of restaurants so you can walk to lunch or dinner. Sams club directly across the street. Super friendly staff.
Staff is nice. Hotel lobby and first floor are cool but once you step into the elevator, you are hit with heat and both floors 2 & 3 are HOT. The room was hot throughout the stay and you could not keep it cool enough to rest at night. Stay somewhere else if possible!
We came to Columbus for my husbands army bct graduation. The marriott was very close to shopping/restaurants. Walking distance for a lot. The staff was super friendly. The hotel was in very nice shape. Breakfast was great. No problems whatsoever. Very nice stay, would stay again.
We had to come to Colunbus for a Funeral, I called a lot of Hotels before I booked!!! The SpringHill was booked because they had everything I needed Hot Breakfast, pool working, and Suites !!!! As of July 2021 The SpringHill Hotel and Suites has the #1 critics vote of being the #1 Hotel in Columbus Ga...Thank you
The start is for Manager, because my visit to this hotel was a nightmare! I experienced trouble with the air conditioner, the toilet would NOT flush, the door wouldnt lock and housekeeping left a dead bug in the room. So, the manager at checkout saved the day. He was very professional about the whole experience.
We have had the opportunity to stay at the SpringHill Suites in Columbus 3 times over the last 2 years and highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Coumbus for events associated with Fort Benning. The hotel itself is very nice, clean, comfortable and modern. The staff is top notch. In our opinion, the location was excellent. Many options for dining right outside the hotel, easy access to shopping and to Fort Benning. We highly recommend the SpringHill Suites in Columbus, Georgia!!
This is a relatively new property and thus the furnishings and decorations reflect such. Food is good. Staff is quite accommodating. Great value for money (or points). It is convenient to other places. The ONLY thing I would recommend is a more visible entrance sign. (For first-time stayers). Now I know to “just turn at Longhorns”.
Location was within walking distance of several common chain restaurants and located nearby a larger highway for easy access. The front desk staff was friendly. We stayed three nights in a king bed room. The cleaning staff came in on Saturday and cleaned half the room. They left the dirty towels on the bathroom floor, didnt replace the empty tissue box, and didnt make the bed. The cleaning staff didnt come in on Sunday. The shower was either scalding hot or ice cold and couldnt be adjusted with the handle. We tried using the shower at different times of the day with the same result.
Pro: Staff and customer service was great. Bathrooms were very clean. Fridge and microwave in room. Breakfast was good. Hotel, as a whole, was nice and clean. Well lit parking and close to everything.Cons: Rooms feel dated and furniture was not appealing. Bed was not very comfortable, small pillows. Bring your own pillows.
Please use review comment provided on page one. The 48 hour cancellation entrap clients who are unaware the hotel is under renovation when they arrive. The noisy renovation does not allow clients are deprived of quiet, respite during their say as repair works din not even stop at 6pm and began again before 9 am on saturday.I like Marriott products, but this is the worst yet.Check in crews was very good, and the breakfast prep person was very good and polite. Management please take notice and do the right thing..
All members of the staff were professional and courteous. We had to change rooms 3 times due to no a/c, moldy smells, sinks that wouldnt drain, and a floor that got drenched by an a/c. The rooms are arranged in a way that you cant really see the t.v. from the bed or from the couch. The only redeeming quality was the stuff who were awesome.
I have always enjoyed staying at the SpringHill Suites in Columbus GA at FT Benning. I first stayed there when my son graduated from Boot Camp at Ft Benning. I enjoyed my stay so much. Rooms were clean and spacious. It accomodated myself, my 2 daughter, my sister and my sons girlfriend. The complimentary breakfast, parking and staff were all great! I would definitely go back and recommend to my family and friends.
We enjoyed our stay here recently. Hotel is very clean. The free breakfast buffet was awesome. The staff is professional, polite, and caring. We will be booking again in December. We only try to book Springhill Suites(Marriott). We have not been disappointed yet. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and it was beyond wonderful! The hotel was well maintained and there is plenty of dining and shopping within walking distance. The entire Staff was friendly and greeted us each and every time we arrived and departed from the hotel, we literally felt like we were home. One particular front desk manager, Kianna provided the best customer service ever, she is second to none, seriously! She clearly loves her job and cares for each and every guest. Her smile and positive attitude is infectious. She goes out of her way to ensure guests needs are met. The breakfast served each morning is awesome as well. Ms. Eugina (hope I spelled that right) is friendly and truly cares for the guests who are dining there. She even sings for the guests each morning. As were leaving to attend my sons graduation from Army boot camp, she sang Lee Greenwoods Proud to be an American. Her voice was beautiful and the tribute was touching, especially for all the Soldiers parents. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be staying here the next time I visit Columbus, GA.
The hotel was under going renovation during my stay, although you wouldve never been able to tell. The staff made it a point to make sure I was comfortable, they were always friendly. They were even helpful Im my indecisive when I asked if I could switch rooms. I have stayed at many Marriott affiliated hotels and this by far has been one of the best experiences Ive ever had at a Marriott. This hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and the highway.
This hotel is well-managed and had the best breakfast bar Ive seen in a Marriott chain. The young man who runs the breakfast is great...never seen someone who was so dedicated and helpful. He made sure the eggs, etc never ran out and they were always perfect. The hotel is a newer one and was clean. The staff were very friendly.
The hotel is very conveniently located near the interstate system and most activities in Columbus. There is shopping and dining available within walking distance. As a business traveler, I find the hotel comfortable and quiet. It provides the usual amenities. The hot breakfast in the morning is a definite plus and saves a lot of time when you have to be at work early. The staff at this property are professional and friendly. They are definitely service oriented and make your stay much easier and more comfortable.
I wish I could give more stars, I was very impressed with the service the cleanest and the beauty of the room, was a very good experience customer service was fantastic and I never in my whole entire life I stay in the place so clean like this hotel. I was very impressed with my room I could not find anything wrong everything was perfect I felt that I was in my own home. If you look for a hotel in Columbus Georgia this is the place to stay.
I was very disappointed in my experience at this hotel. I booked a room for a business guest traveling to my business. My guest’s room was never cleaned, trash never emptied, sheets never changed. It honestly looked like it hadn’t been cleaned before checknin either. The mirrors and countertops were covered with splatter of old toothpaste. The sheets at check in didn’t smell or feel clean. I was embarrassed I chose this hotel for my guest to stay in.
I found this hotel clean and comfortable. Pluses included a helpful and friendly staff, large comfortable room adequately appointed, good breakfast with ample choices, a location in the middle of shopping and large variety of food choices. The front desk spent lots of time helping our group stay together and, in one instance, moving a couple away from a grumpy neighbor. Minuses were small, but included a black-out curtain a bit small for the window. I would certainly return.
I will never stay here again and you shouldnt either. My room has a large hole in the carpet, its dirty, theres thick black hair stuck on the wall in the bathroom, dried blood on the pillow and in the bathroom, and worst of all, a mysterious glob of something stuck to the ceiling near the bathroom closet. In addition, the hot water selector in the shower moves by itself so I had a cold shower.Id like my money back!
Fresh and clean. We stayed here when we were in Auburn for a football game. The hotel is about a 40 minute drive from Jordan-Hare stadium. The nicely decorated room was a suite with a living area with couch and a sleeping area with the beds. It included microwave, fridge, and a TV with Netflix and other streaming available. The hotel is fairly new and in nice condition. Breakfast was the usual waffle maker, danishes, eggs, sausage, cereal, etc.
We were in the area for a wedding. The location is either a newer hotel or is kept up pretty well inside and out. The room was cozy and had a spacey sitting area. The workout room was small, but it had the basics to get my workout in. The breakfast was okay, but the person who serviced the breakfast area was very friendly to me, my husband and son. She came by several times to ask how the food was and if we needed anything. The price was good, but the location was great. The best part of the stay was the friendly nature and helpfulness of the staff at the hotel. We had never been to Columbus before, so we didnt really know our way around and had a few things to do (like buy a wedding gift) shortly after checking in. Each staff person was friendly and greeted us with a smile. My son was tired and had a little tantrum while we were checking in, but the lady at the desk was very understanding. Both the afternoon and morning staff persons told us about area activities that we could do in town. There were two young ladies that really helped us. We had a bunch of questions about the area. They told us some places to eat at without breaking the bank (instead of the usual printed restaurant list) and where to bargain shop (I was rushing and left my shoes for the wedding at home). Thank you to Ty and the other staff person (she didn’t have a name tag on). Both of you helped make a hectic weekend easier for my family. If we visit that area again, we will definitely come back to this hotel.Pros-Easy highway access, friendly staff, lots of restaurants and fast food options, mall and other shopping near by.Cons-Rooms a little small, Turning onto that main road was like a Nascar Race
This location is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. The staff has been extremely courteous and helpful. The property is well-kept. Breakfast is served every day. We had an unexpected treat on Sunday with the twins singing an amazing rendition of Silver and Gold for us.
Nice hotel clean comfortable rooms with comfortable beds furniture is appealing clean and comfostable. The hotel is surrounded by so many places to eat at you can walk or drive. Wal-Mart and Sams club are nearby as well. The staff are warm and friendly especially the young lady who cleaned our room.
During my check in, stay, checkout and breakfast. All was very well with my concerns. this place is well maintained and courteous at the front desk. the only thing about this place is, you cannot view it easily from the road. I have lived here in Columbus for 3 years and never noticed this place from the road. businesses in front of the Marriott hides it from the road view. if I didnt have my GPS. I wouldnt find it. Thanks
Great Staff, clean, great breakfast. Enjoyed the pool. Great location. Plenty of options for shopping and eating. Was given handicap room instead of what was booked due to no availability but I had a reservation I will just make sure I specify no handicap room. I would stay here again. Very nice lobby to sit in.
My family was in Georgia for my Grandsons graduation from boot camp at Ft. Benning. This hotel was in a great location for restaurants and shopping when we had down time between events at the base. Our room was big and comfortable. My only complaint is that there was mold in the bathroom. That made it feel dirty even though the rest of the room was clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Overall it was a good experience.
TO SAY I WAS IMPRESSED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. Felicia was exceptional at keeping my room to standards, everyone should learn from her. To the ladies at the front desk, Cassandra and Lisa, without a doubt know their jobs. They all made my stay there the best. Thank you all for an outstanding job
The SpringHill Suites Columbus is currently going through a major remodel. The staff have had to make significant adjustments and stay one step ahead of the contractors in order to make sure the guests experience as little inconvenience as possible. Everyone has performed admirably. Sure, guests know the hotel is being remodeled, but we also know that we are the first priority of the staff and they are doing everything in their power to ensure we have a pleasant stay. Congratulations to everyone at this first class hotel.
Booked this hotel because of price and proximity to lots of restaurants and shopping, but never had time to take advantage of either. We were able to check-in early which was nice, but was disappointed the moment when I stepped on the elevator and the carpet was filthy. The suite was extremely small, yet it did have 2 closets, which wasnt necessary. Mildew in the tub and corner on the floor was just as dirty. The thermostat needs a manual to program, otherwise, one would freeze. Television has no guide to find stations. Pool is inoperable, despite the high temperatures in Columbus, Ga.The bed was extremely comfortable to me because of its firmness. I took pictures, but there is nowhere to upload on this survey.
Our stay was awesome. Front dest guest service young lady was awesome. bed was comfortable, Shower was awesome. only thing i would say maybe would be good is, have tv for the bedroom and the sitting area. Husband wanted to watch Espn and I want to watch Law and Order
Outstanding!!!!!!! Thank you for taking the entire state of Florida into your hotels. We cant thank you enough for amending your no pet policy during a time of crisis. On behalf of the entire state of Florida we thank you so very much!!!!! Words, compliments, praise and accolades cant say how fabulous management and staff made an incredibly stressful time so relaxing. Your staff and management deserve a significant pay raise and that is no lie. They were outstanding!!!!!!
It is an adequate hotel for a short stay. Wall are thin and you hear everything going on in the hall and the adjacent rooms. The sign out front is small, and for me, difficult to see/locate when I was driving looking for the location. The staff was fantastic from check in to check out. Warm, friendly and genuinely interested in my day and how I was doing.
Stayed four nights at the Spring Hill Suites in Columbus, GA. Two of those days my room was not cleaned. I informed management and was told it would be taken care of. The last day it happened again. I dont know what the problem was but I think I will stay somewhere else the next time I go to Columbus. I have stay at this hotel at least twice a year and have been using them for years with no issues. Something has changed causing the quality and customer service to go down. The Desk Staff were very nice however they were not trained to process Marriott Gift Cards.
Business for several weeks required my continued return to Columbus. This hotel is one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Staff is always available to answer any questions or assist with any requests. The location is great for a varied degree of dining and shopping is within walking distance.
We reserved 8 rooms for a high school drama conference. We booked several months before the date of arrival. I called 3 times to duble check on reservation just to make sure all 8 rooms were noted. We traveled down to Columbus checked in early and were told none of the 8 rooms were available yet. We told them we would be able to come back until very late probably around 10:00PM. Front desk said ok. We called from conference at 9PM just to let them know we think we might be there until 11PM where we were then told they gave 2 of our rooms AWAY to another group. The excuse was the others were booked under a group not and indiviadual name. WHAT??!!! They were rude over the phone and did not budge. When we arrived we told we could not get the 2 rooms back and we had to cram our high school group from 8 rooms to 6. Very unaccpetable and there was nothing we could do - helpless, even though we checked in earlier and called several times to ensure our stay. I have NEVER heard of anything like this from any hotel and we are very disappointed about the whole experience.
We are currently staying here for our family reunion. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfy which is why I gave it a few extra stars than it deserved due to the fact that some rooms had bed bugs and ants. A family had to be relocated to another room which also had bed bugs, they were then relocated to another hotel. Our room in particular has a trail of ants going from the floor to ceiling. The breakfast was ok, those powdered eggs give me nightmares lol. The variety is good though.
This place is AWESOME! We were up here to get away from hurricane Irma along with a lot of other Floridians and the staff did everything they could to make us feel right at home. Everyone was so nice, the rooms were extremely clean, and the pool was great. Will be staying here on the drive back.
I have had the opportunity to stay in a lot of hotels across the country. This was my first time in Columbus, GA and my first time to stay at SpringHill Suites. We were in town to visit my son at Ft. Benning. I was very impressed. The front desk staff was very helpful and kind. The room was clean and the hotel is located in a prime location in town. Thanks for a great experience!
I stayed at the Spring Hill Suites for one night while on business in the area, and overall the exceptional experience is what I expect from Marriott. The room had plenty to offer in both size and amenities and it was clean and free from maintenance problems. The staff I engaged at the front desk were very professional and polite. I would recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to Columbus, Georgia, or the surrounding area.
We stayed at the Springhill Suites in Columbus, Ga. I would certainly recommend staying here if you would like a hotel with a hot breakfast and in a great location to shopping. After seeing the area, I cannot wait to return. There are so many wonderful places to shop in such a centrally located area. I would recommend bringing a power strip so you can have your phones charging near the bed. We really liked the suite, it was clean and comfortable.
Very professional. Convenience. Enjoyed visiting family. Easy access to shopping venues. Great surrounding restaurants. It was great having a small refrigerator in the room. The television was great and easy to operate. May need a Cd player for tapes from home. Please supply water for customers. I dont drink coffee. The water in the Lobby is too expensive.
Travel to Columbus frequently and typically stay at this hotel. Can always rely on good customer service and a quality stay. The hotel has begun to appear dated and show some wear/tear in the rooms. Otherwise very good. The staff is always very pleasant, accommodating and greets you by name.
We went to visit our nephew who is stationed in the Fort Benning area. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Rooms were comfortable and clean. ALL OF THE STAFF were courteous and helpful. When the elevator had an problem, it was fixed in a few hours! Location is walking distance to a major shopping center.
Visited Columbus, GA to attend Tuskegee/Morehouse Football Classic. Booked Springhill Suites in Columbus and was so happy I did. Front desk agent was very welcoming and friendly when we arrived late after the game. Guest room was spacious, clean and comfortable bed. Hotel has great location with so many restaurants and great shopping within walking distance.Sunday morning Breakfast was fresh and a nice variety of items to select from. Breakfast attendant did a wonderful job keeping breakfast stocked and fresh.
Luxurious rooms with a true homie feel created by the separated walls in between each room. The bed is very comfortable the rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and overly accommodating. Its closely located to all of the better restaurants in the area on this side of town.
So this is the second level up in Marriotts chain. We booked two nights here for a softball tournament in Columbus. The hotel is in a modern strip-mall area - Wal-Mart across the street. Tons of chain restaurants and shops within a mile. This place is about two miles off of I-185.Check in was quick. The lobby was nice. So was the room. The suite was really one big room with two double beds on one end. A partial wall on the other - behind which sat a desk and a pull-out sofa-bed.Sheets were soft. Bed was firm - perfect for me but too firm for my wife. Water pressure was good. The hot water was dwindling at 8:00 on Sunday morning. When we came back from the softball fields after 10:00 p.m. - everyone soaking wet and longing for some time in the showers - we discovered that everyone in our block of rooms has been checked out. Our keys didnt work, so we all had to trudge back to the lobby to get new keys. When we asked about this, the manager told us we mustve only booked it for one night (which wasnt true according to my reservation email and the fact that my credit card was zapped for two nights plus $50 two seconds after we checked in). Im not sure what the mistake was, but dont compound it by telling me its my fault.I got up early on Sunday and stumbled downstairs to let my wife and kid sleep a little. As I was waiting for the waffle iron to free up, a staffer told me I couldnt eat there without shoes for health reasons. She was strident about it, and said it loud enough that several people turned around to look. So I went back to my room and put on my wet, dirty shoes from the night before. (by the way, there are no federal or state health regulations that require you to wear shoes in a hotel lobby or a restaurant for that matter).Little things matter when youre deciding where to stay. Dont blame your guests for your screw-ups. If you want your guest to wear shoes in the hotel lobby, then post a sign - dont make up non-existent health regulations. Certainly be polite about it.I give the hotel 5 stars. The people problems dragged it down to 3 stars.
The staff was extremely courteous, helpful, and professional. I came down for my sons graduation from Ft. Benning. If Im back in the are, I will definitely stay again. The rooms were awesome, clean and roomy. Very convenient to dining, shopping, and attractions...........Ms. Renee who was at the front desk was AWESOME!!!
Had to wait at least 20 min upon check-in and check-out and nobody was there but me. Actually had to call the hotel phone number to get someone to come to the front desk upon checkin and checkout. I used the mobile app to check in but apparently no one at this hotel monitors the app. Outside of hotel was dingy but room was clean.
There are not a lot of great hotels in the area near fort benning. This hotel was okay, there were just little things about our room that was odd. Pull out couch mattress was brown and dirty and had stains on it. And the toilet seat in the bathroom was round on an oval shaped toilet. Both of those are cheap and easy fixes which would have made our stay otherwise a good one.
Outstanding Staff that go above and beyond the call of duty. The complimentary breakfast is good and contains a good selection of continental type breakfast items. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, clean, good size and offer a sitting/office area as well as free Wi-Fi connection. Great location with a variety of restaurants and outside mall with a variety of stores.
Difficult to see the little sign to turn into the hotel lot. It is behind the restaurants. Even though a motorcycle club was partying at the TGIFridys next door till 2 am, we did not hear anything. Clean rooms, friendly staff, everything was great for our impromptu stay.
Very nice suite tucked back off the main road for surprisingly quiet location in the middle of great shopping and dining. Staff was very professional and made sure my stay was not just adequate, but exceptional. I would recommend Springhill Suites in Columbus, GA for business or pleasure.
Mostly this visit went well. The chilled juice machine was switched off a few times. Nothing worse when thirst beckons.Last full day before departure, room was not maintained.Invoice upon departure, was charged to some one else on their visa, even though my card was registered, had my wrong email address, and wrong home address.Breakfasts could do with a bit of a variety, rather than scrambled egg & meat patties.Decent location, and all said, Ill probably return.

2022-06-30Stayed here overnight on our way back home. Making the reservation through the app was easy. The room was nice, clean, and spacious. The reason why I deducted a star is because the check-in procedure took longer than it should have. The employee was in the back office area and I waited approximately 15 minutes until she came out and checked us in. Check-out was fast and simple.

2022-06-17Excellent customer service and one of.my best hotel experiences in a long time. My family and I felt appreciated as guests. The front desk clerk, the maid staff, and the kitchen staff went the extra mile for us on several occasions. Nice, clean, and great breakfast.

2022-03-12Nice large rooms, friendly staff. They have a small breakfast at 7am. Very limited selection of breakfast food. I wish coffee was available earlier, The coffee pot in the room was very dirty is why I gave it 4 stars. The hotel is very close to a variety of chain restaurants. I recommend staying here. When I return to the area I will come back.

2022-06-17Room was clean but lets be real the main thing is the bed comfort!Ik this is one of the 1st things I look for in the reviews. I felt like I was sleeping on the FLOOR! The bed was so hard it felt like a box spring. The room is a good size and the ac worked good.Breakfast was good.We like staying at Springhill most of the time. I like that they have full size Soaps on the shower wall. Others we have stayed at had glass doors to the shows and I like that since u dont have to worry about the curtain. But at least this one had a clear liner and a shower curtain in the shower. I hate when u go to a hotel and all it has is the 1 cloth curtain and the water just goes through on to the floor.

2022-05-04*Large rooms*Clean*Convenient Location* Absent staff*Good Breakfast SelectionCheck in was quick, minimal communication, digital keys do not work here. Front desk staff seemed abscent.Room was spacious and clean. Pillows and linens were disappointing. There was an incessant beeping in the lobby that would give you an instant headache every trip in past.Breakfast offerings were eggs, sausage, potatoes, prepackaged sausage and biscuits or waffles, muffins/scones, cereal, milk and juice.Plenty of parking, location is somewhat dated, but extremely convenient to everything!

2022-03-23As a hotel stay it was fine, however as a service dog owner.... I was told he couldnt walk with me while I get breakfast. I have stayed in multiple hotels, hes been in an ambulance, a hospital etc but hes not allowed to walk in the breakfast area with all the pre packaged food. I hope they know now that their employee just broke ADA laws.

2022-01-02Overall good stay. The bed is a little tired and the digital TV services don’t work (didn’t work for our last stay either). I would stay again as it’s a good value and conveniently located to a ton of things to do.

2021-10-16The bathroom was pretty grimy, cracked tiles and dirt in the corners, and the water in the tub backed up while we were showering so you were standing in ankle deep water by the time you are done. Breakfast was ok and room and beds are comfortable but hotel needs to be updated throughout, especially the majorly stained carpet in the halls and elevator.
