Been there several times, and they get my order wrong everytime. We just moved to Calhoun recently and before would go to the ones in Cartersville and inside Ingles. Perfect everytime, this time they give us the wrong orders everytime. We would say is this actually our drink order and they would say well its this which is not our order. Multiple times.
We have been going to Starbucks for years. Cartersville and Emerson have been amazing and never had a problem. We just moved to town last week and have yet to have a good experience. It takes a good half hour to get the wrong drink every time and when we corrected this past time the girl at the window took the drink and openly mocked us asking for the correct drink. Do not recommend.
Decided to take my wife and daughter down to my local Starbucks for some coffee and playing Pokemon GO- this location has a Gym as well as there are two other stops and a second gym within range of the store, so its a very good GO spot to visit.The gentleman at the drive-thru window was very patient with me as I always struggle with placing the complicated orders my wife and daughter have, and had an amazing customer service etiquette! I only wish I had gotten his name so I could name his personally!
This place is ridiculous. I placed my order online for in-store pickup. When I arrived at the store, the door was locked. As I was standing there to get in, an employee walked to the door and taped a sign on the door stating the lobby was closed and to go through the drive thru to pickup your order. The line was long which is why I had opted for instore pickup. At the drive thru window, while trying to let them know how rude and I considerate they are, the employee cursed at me and stated she didn’t know the number to call to complain. Terrible service!
I think it’s funny how we reached out to corporate Starbucks about the treatment of the baristas at this Starbucks and have yet to hear anything back from the DM Kenny Tyeskey. The manager Hayden Nelson is a JOKE. There is so much about this locations that the customers don’t know. I don’t work here but i know a lot of baristas that have left there jobs there because of the constant toxicity . So if you are a customer in Calhoun Ga HELP the baristas out! be nice and tip extra because they are going through so much with the toxicity of management and people who THINK they are management.LOOK at all these comments about how amazing baristas they have! It’s crazy that there is nothing about Hayden Nelson… oh yeah that’s cause he’s never there. Check the cameras you’ll never see him.
We travel to 75 quite a bit and have often stopped here. The line is always long. Today I went in and ordered & saw exactly who the line was out to the road. 5 employees and only one making drinks. The cashier at the window just chatted with the front cashier while another employee texted on her phone and one occasionally popped in from a back room. There was no sense of urgency at the fact theres a line of cards & that I waited 20 minutes to get a drink while watching just one pressing actually doing the hard work- the front cashier actually apologized for the wait then went back to juggling around a package food item then stocked up some bags.🤦♀️
This location leaves much to be desired. I frequent several different Starbucks locations in the area and this location is by far the worst in regard to customer service & quality of drinks served. There is one guy here that is pleasant & friendly ALWAYS (Im sorry I dont recall your name!) Everyone else is rude or just plain clueless. I typically order Frappacinos of various flavors...at this location (Calhoun) they consistently make them very thin & watery, not frozen at all. I ask for one very simple change and they find it impossible to manage. Every. Single. Time. I have tried very hard to be understanding & kind to the folks at this location, but after getting the wrong order that also tastes like drinking cold milk instead of a frozen blended beverage at least 6 times now, I simply give up. These drinks are too expensive to be served so terribly made. I believe the people here, in general, just dont give a damn.
Place was closed the full day we got there, apparently for cleaning or restocking as baristas were inside the building, but nothing was done to indicate that it was closed. The drive thru had a line of cars all trying to order without any indication until you got tired of waiting and pulled around to the window, where you were just completely ignored by the workers inside. Absolutely unacceptable consumer service. If the place is closed, it should be clearly marked, ESPECIALLY for people who would otherwise wait in lengthy lines for what at first appears to be just slow service.
I made a trip to pick up an order to pick up at 8:30, I had pre-paid for the drinks and when I got there the doors were locked and I was completely ignored by the staff. It was late and I’m sure they were ready to go but they could have least acknowledging the fact that I was outside. They were inside laughing. A simple “we’re closed” would have sufficed but they were incredibly rude about the whole situation. I have worked retail and know how it feels to close a store and leave at a late hour but blatantly being disrespectful because you want to go early is terrible customer service.
This place is usually super busy, especially in the mornings and on weekends. The reason for that is most likely due to the kind and efficient employees. The line is usually out of the parking lot but generally moves very fast. I have never gotten my order screwed up so Ill definitely keep coming back!
Didnt even get to get a coffee. When traveling through from Florida I stopped to get a coffee and the door was locked. They also had mobile ordering disabled. So, unfortunately I was unable to go through the drive-thru with my camper. I had to go down the street to Dunkin to get my coffee and use the restroom. They were more than happy to get my business.
Absolutely won’t do there job my truck won’t fit through drive thru so I went to the door and they ignored me and my sisters and they straight up ignored me when we went to the drive thru and then they turned the lights off after I went to the window and looked me straight in the face and now there taking other people orders in the drive thru and still have the lights off I just wanted to get my sisters coffee and they absolutely don’t wanna do there job
The past 3 times I have been have not been satisfactory. Yesterday I ordered a venti French vanilla and thought it felt awfully lite. And sure enough it wasnt even half full. Come on guys. And the previous 2 times I got coffee that was burnt and cold. How can you specialize in coffee and not be good at it??????
My wife is a huge Starbucks fan, and with covid 19 the reduced hours and accessibility at Starbucks locations has frustrated her.Thankfully this Starbucks is now open for drive thru and order/pickup inside.My wife is happy once more, and enjoying her freshly made Starbucks beverages.You know what they say happy wife, happy life.
On the overall experience I will give a 3, but Josh (the manager on duty) deserves a 5 star!The drink I have been ordering for a while now came out totally different today to the point that I will not be able to drink more than 1/3. While I may not have come across as the nicest person when I called to inquire..... Josh handled it very well and remained super nice the whole time.
Dont do the online ordering. I ordered two coffees and they charged exactly $25 to my card which I found weird as hell, then the manager was very rude and wanted to argue with me about it. So now I have to dispute the charge. I ended up calling corporate which probably wont solve anything. But anyway, horrible customer service at this place. Ill go to Dunkin donuts next time.
In short at least one of their employees working the drive through practices her own form of facism while being paid by Starbucks.I ordered a single cup of coffee and was the next car at the window. I could see my coffee cup sitting in plain sight but Amanda did everything she could to NOT serve me. She took enough orders at the drive through to get the line backed up as far as possible and then walked around to avoid serving me.After about 10 min Amanda finally decided to open the window and “serve” me. I asked for the manager and informed her of the problem. Amanda then held up some drink cup and proclaimed she was waiting on the drink in her hand as she thought it was mine. The manager was informed that her staff should be able to handle an order of a black cup of coffee. Amanda then looses control and yells that if I hadn’t littered she would have served me sooner.It turns out that when I emptied my fast food cup of ice and water out the window between my car and the base of the drive thru window (and then put the empty cup in my trash receptical) Amanda THOUGHT I littered and decided to execute her plan to punish me.So a paid employee of Starbucks whose job is to serve customers decided that she no longer had to do that and could ACT on “her” ideals and make sure I was sufficiently punished. It didn’t matter to her that I didn’t litter (something people shouldn’t do) , but that she thought I littered. Whatever schooling or social group she has been influenced by apparently told her that acts of fascist regimes was the way to handle any situation whether the situation actually happened or not- comply or be punished.What’s wrong with the world is on display at this store and many others from the news stories I have read in the past. I believe them all now.
Worst service ever! They gave my croissants to the lady in front of me, took them away, and tried to give me the same ones...DISGUSTING 🤢 And when I complained I’m sure they gave me the same ones plus they almost threw the pink drink I ordered on my face. Don’t go here
The crew there is very nice. My mom had ordered 3 drinks and they were awesome.While we were waiting on our beverages to be ready I realized I was having a lady need. And there was young lady there (I didnt catch her name) with beautiful tattoo work on her arms, cute pink pigtails and gauged ears who was able to help me out. THANK YOU :)I was traveling with family back from Tennessee back to Florida and we were just passing through. Im so thankful for her kindness.Thank you fellow tattooed lady!!!
Manager at the drive thru was extremely rude. I had to ask for the food I paid for, she tried to just give me my drink. Was not sincerely apologetic she did not care. I understand if she is having a rough day but she doesnt need to take it out on paying customers. She ruined my day Ive never been treated so rudely
So far so good. I expect a more clean place, specially the bath room. The coffee is okay, nothing special, I known that some people love Starbucks, but they can do better coffee if you compare with price that we were charged. The Google internet was fast and good, very useful.
The store always clean and the staff is friendly and worm, but there was something that I thought was kid of odd and it is that they do not take your own cup for your drink apparently some sort of higiene rule or something, they do give you the discount for bringing your own cup though.
Customer service was argumentative & not helpful; tea latte not made well. This is too expensive for what you buy not to be made delicious at every location, every time. As a rewards member I was dissatisfied that the Manager and cashier had no knowledge of monthly deals...made excuses instead of listening. Got my order wrong. Bathrooms were clean.
Its loud and the fare is rather mediocre, especially considering the price.Never buy food here. Youll pay 4 bucks for one lackluster scone. The coffee is slightly better but honestly there are better places around for that.I just come here for the occasional meet up. Other than that, theres no point.
Fast friendly service (even early in the morning) in a clean and inviting seating area that is convenient for any person who needs to plug in an electronic device because there are multiple outlets in close proximity to every seat. If you are looking for an exceptional Starbucks... well, here it is.
Very poor customer service. I was unaware that cold drinks also come in different sizes, so when asked what size I wanted twice, I responded “what sizes does it come in” twice and and the young lady said “the same sizes as all of the other drinks we have”Talk to your customers like it’s their first time there. It may go a long way.
Ordered two Frappuccinos and two slices of bread. Got one drink pretty fast but it was ugly and already melted. Waited nearly 30 MINUTES for the second one. One person ordered in front of us, but SEVERAL drinks came out before ours. They tried to tell us that the second drink must not have gone through, but the price of our order was definitely for all four items
I ordered a extra sweet tea with strawberries added I got my tea look like they had emptied one pack of sugar in it and didnt even stir it and it tasted like it had no sugar when I asked for extra sweet five bucks I know youre a coffee shop but you also advertise specialty teas
Staff was rude. Had 1 order of just coffee for 2 people. The first one was served as you would expect. 15 minutes later we finally asked where the other one was, were told they were still working on it. Snapped that out. Unless you just need Starbucks now, pass this one on by.
Pretty average Starbucks. The coffee was good but they resisted my request to do a pour-over. Said the drip was fresh so that was pretty much the same. I get that they are similar, but that isnt what I asked for... Bathroom was pretty rugged. Definitely nowhere near what I normally see from Starbucks.
Awesome store. First one we went to that no longer request your name to serve you. Instead, their is a sticker with what you ordered on the cup. Their technology is updated to a higher standard we have ever encounter in other starbucks we been to. We are Military and we travel a lot, especially on the east coast. Great customer service, polite and prompt.
Service was less than to be honest, the barista on register seemed more than stressed. Hoppers had a lot of oil and residue in them and I could only see that because they were more than close to empty. No one really spoke to me, I barely got a half smile from the barista on bar while i waited for drinks. Could definitely use some Starbucks Experience training, as well as standard cleaning and maintenance of equipment. It wasnt the worst one Ive been in though. Drink taste was fine and they were made correctly.
I literally never leave bad reviews but...Went through the drive thru at this location about 10 minutes ago and ordered an iced cafe latte with two extra shots of espresso (four total). I could tell by the milky looking drink handed out of the window that it would be wrong, but I tasted it anyway and it in fact tasted like sugary milk 🙃. Long story short, I go inside and politely ask them to remake it because there must have been a mistake, reiterating the four total shots of espresso. Again, I was handed a grande sized cup of sugary milk. Confused, I asked if coffee was put in the drink at all because the other 536 times I’ve ordered this drink from other locations, it was much darker in color. The woman, who I assume was the manager, says “now I know for a fact there are four shots in there”, as if I’m not a caffeine addict and don’t know what I’m talking about 😐. Now I’m in caffeine withdrawals and frantically searching for the next closest location.
Autumn was very rude! They barely mixed in the matcha on my iced latte and tried giving it to me with milk and matcha all over the side. And when I asked if she could wipe it off she said I dont really have anything to wipe it off with, used her apron and set it on the counter where I had to stretch to even each it. Usually this place is great. But I was very disappointed in the team that was there toady!
We ordered a hot, white chocolate mocha and an iced caramel macchiato. First, they were out of the caramel sauce for the macchiato. This alone is very frustrating, seeing as how many of the drinks call for the caramel sauce. In a rushed order, I ordered my next favorite, a sweetened iced green tea. Upon getting our drinks and driving off, we realized my green tea was not sweetened and the white chocolate mocha was mainly foam, and not much drink. The service was rushed and unfriendly on top of our drinks not being made the way we requested. Starbucks drinks are too expensive to not be great each time, or at least good.
Was so disappointed this visit the baristas making the coffees were rude and slung my coffee across the counter at me did not call out my name so i had to check that it was even mine. My husband ordered a chestnut thai and instead he recieved a plain latte. Trash laying around needs cleaned better.
Friendly baristas, made my drink perfectly. I tried the new cloud macchiato- and it was absolutely fabulous. Iirc, I tried it here the day it came out and they still made it perfectly. The caramel version is better than the cinnamon, which uses cinnamon lemon, not cinnamon dolce, but you can substitute. The drink itself is awesome. Try it (or any other espresso item) with ristretto shots- they pull with less water so you get a stronger flavor. Not from around here, was just traveling through, but Id totally go back.
Starbucks is a true haven from the world.You walk into tbe cafe and you scenses are flooded: delicious earthy aromas, a variety of light music in the background, and always interesting choices on the menu. The space itself is pretty cramped but suits well for cozy, inviting atmosphere. I would certainly recommend downliading the Starbucks app in order to skip the line. Generally, if you place your order five minutes before arriving at the store, the baristas will have it ready. There was one incident, in November 2017, when it was not until 20 minutes after I arrived to pick up my order that it was finally made for me. But, it happens. Of course, there is always the wifi if you want to lounge around the cafe.
Ive used numerous Starbucks, and they are, for the most part, snobs and the food is overpriced like the Dunkin Donut store just down the road. I can buy coffee just as good at the RaceTrac and QuikTrip gas station. Lets not forget Cracker Barrel and Chick-fil-A. Starbucks is mere hype.
For the first time EVER, I was denied service bc of where I had to park!🤔..only at the Starbucks in Calhoun, I assume!🙄 the employees here (not all) wouldnt be good enough to touch my 10pc from McDonalds, much less, act too good to make my $8 Frapp🙄 oh well, back to Cartersville it is!
The best cappuccino in the south by far. Im from center city in phillidelphia and i was also im also from jersey. And to get that perfect tight foam capp is the closest to a being at home feeling. I really do miss the big city life and when i step into starbucks it brings me right back to the hustle and bustle of good quality fadt paced and still being personal without the small southern town drama. We dont need to meet and greet and hear problems we all got em we keep them to ourselves and we enjoy the zen of a place that we all come to and enjoy the fact that we have business to attend to but still welcome hello and good day to you sir. The staff has that quality feeling and im hooked. I can walk into longhorns and feel like its all just small town gossip... Like so i heard your mom has cancer how is she after she lost her car from a repo due to hospital bills. Starbucks makes you feel known yet anonymous. If you are a yankee you will know what i mean.
Love having somewhere to come to with a patio and wifi. I get tired of using the wifi at home and need a different scenery every now and then. Staff is fairly friendly and coffee products are good. I love the java chip frap and swirl cin cake. I have 2 complaints! The new chairs and tables outside where a very bad decision. It is obvious that starbs wanted to look more modern sleek and they did derive what they were hoping for, but the new tables and chairs are smaller, less comfortable, and they show dirt really bad. So now someone needs to come outside every hour and clean them!!!!! Please. Also there are more flies than should be in a whole town. I met someone at starbs the other day and said look I know it is too sunny to look at laptop out here but let me finish my coffee. If I have to drink it in there I will throw up. Yeah so I am a bit fly phobic, but everyone should be bothered when they have to walk through flies bumping into them. How much would a system cost to blow air when the doors opened? Any food service company I owned would have this, no questions asked. Flies are disgusting and I will not eat in a place full of flies. Anyway, so the person did not believe me until I finished my drink and we walked in. She counted 8 flies on the table we went to sit at. I just had to block it from my mind. I stopped eating at Zaxbys for this same reason. And if this had been a fast food place, I would have turned around and left immediately. What makes some restaurants so full of them and some not? Zaxbys and Starbs have been the worst. I rarely notice them in the summer in most other restaurants in Calhoun. Please somebody help the fly population in this place before I throw up all over the new furniture!!!
GO STEPHANIE! (hope i spelled that right) So i went through the drive thu (9/1/17 6:29pm-ish) and it took a little longer than usual but it was the lunch rush so, understandable. Anyways, the girl running drive thru was very professional but at the same time charismatic, energetic, and funny. She put a smile on customers faces and got my food out the window quickly. By far the best drive thru service Ive ever had at a food joint. Give this girl a raise!

2022-06-07Stopped by here on our way home from FL this morning. Even though there was a little wait, our drinks were very good and the service was excellent. Our barista Ember (according to name tag) was cute and delightful. We recommend this Starbucks to anyone passing through as these people know what good customer service looks like

2022-04-09The slowest service I have ever experienced. I would literally see the baristas make drinks for each other while I wait for my drink at the window. Every time I come I expect a wait time of over 20 minutes if there is 3-4 cars. I don’t think there’s management there or maybe they just don’t care.

2022-04-02We placed a mobile order in advance for in store pick up, then arrived and the lobby was closed. The drive through line was super long (we waited 30 minutes), and then they handed us tepid coffee (I ordered mine extra hot). I can understand if they were short staffed, but if thats the case, dont offer in store pick up and make my coffee fresh when I get there. Also, 2/3 wieners were literally just standing there chatting, so not really sure what the deal was. It was a beyond frustrating experience.

2022-05-03Sometimes they’re open, sometimes they’re not. Sometimes they block one exit with cones, sometimes they don’t. Drinks are hit or miss, sometimes they just make what they want. Usually good either way. 4 stars just because their hours are sometimes really stupid and they’re the only drive thru Starbucks in town.

2022-06-18They are out of ice. Lots of people working. Youd think someone could make an executive decision to go get some. Its 91°.And the banana bread and pumpkin bread were not wrapped. I have never bought them at ANY other Starbucks unwrapped. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

2022-01-08Don’t let some of these reviews fool you! This Starbucks location is my favorite. It is literally the stop I look forward to every day I can! Everyone is always super delightful, great energy even while working through shortages of employees, supplies, and sometimes both. They always say hello to everyone and they always make me feel like they’re happy I was there. I do love using the mobile app. In the past two years my order has been incorrect two, maybe three times. And I still call that a win because that means the other 600 times I visited it was correct. 💜

2022-03-19I have become a frequent flyer here due to my wifes love of coffee but Ive never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and Ive never had a messed up order.
