Currently at the counter eating and a party of 30 just walked in. The staff is so pleasant and positive! They’re super friendly and caring. Definitely recommend coming here.
Super nice manager. Ordering was slow. Got charged for an extra milkshake and they couldn’t refund. Left and got down the road to find out the cheese for cheese fries was left out of the order.

Shake was good. No utensils for a sloppy sandwich. I feel like the 100 on the health score was a little… exaggerated. Sever was new but smart and tried hard.

My experience is definitely not what it usually is. My food came to the table cold. My waitress brought my ticket to my table and failed to refill my cup or ask if I needed anything. She has walked by my table 3 times yet my cup remains empty. She does not ask if everything is okay, if you need anything...you have to yield her down and ask her for what you need I guess. So after 20 mins she just came and asked me if everything is okay and if I would like some more HI-C. No thank you, I been thirsty so long I dont even want the rest of my meal because its 10x colder than it was when it came out. You will see in the picture the cheese was not even melted on the burger, thats how cold it was. However I ate as much as I could I was hungry.

Sat there and sat there. I first pulled up to pick up two orders for a delivery, next was told they hadnt received the order, okay so pulled around 5 mins later and ended up waiting in like 40 mins. One customer canceled mid trip when I finally got the food. Whats sad is I saw a fellow delivery driver leave the inside of the store as I pulled into parking spot. I should have just went inside.
Ordered drive through 20 mins ago, waited for 2 other people to get their food before us to find out I was charged for a sandwich they didnt even put in the bag, when you call nobody picks up the phone.

Good decent food for cheap prices. Our server took our order fast and gave us our drinks. We however did wait about 25 minutes for our to come. Milk shakes had good flavor. My kids enjoyed their hats and paper cars they got with their kiddie meals.

Staff In need of training yes they were nice but poor service and health code violations... Their were bugs in my food and drink... If you see the picture bug inside of cup NOT outside.
10/10 do not recommend this location, the service has been terrible EVERY single time. The staff always seems to be having a good time rather then working or paying attention to customers. The last encounter, we waited at the front to be seated for about 2-3 minutes, we were then told to go find a seat anywhere. We sat down and went over the menu for a little bit, this took about 5-6 minutes since there was only one menu on the table. We then waited about 8-10 minutes watching the staff stand behind the counter and continue with their conversations. It took 20 minutes before someone came over to see what our drinks might be. Normally I have zero problem with waiting if it’s busy, but there were 6 people in the restaurant TOTAL. I will not be spending money with this establishment again.
My Aunt and I got our lunch to go a few weeks ago and it was the worst customer service imaginable. The young woman who took our order and literally dropped our bag of food in my hands after I payed was a jerk. She either disliked us or her job or both. She wasnt friendly nor polite. The food was awful. Small hamburger patty and cold fries. I will definitely not be going back.
Its usually pretty good. Would have been 4 stars but the price has recently increased. Ill be back, but only because its late and everything else is closed.
Been to a few Steak n Shake locations in Texas....this one by far is the cleanest, friendliest and most attentive one -which is in lovely Columbus, Georgia! From the manager Greg to our hostess and server...they had the professional courtesy that really made an impact. Our food and milkshake was prepared well and was delicious! Everytime we visit its always a nice time and very clean.👍👍 👍
I had to put my burger on sandwich bread because the bun that was on there was sooo soggy and squishy, the tomato, lettuce liked like it has been sitting out for hours. This was my last time coming to this one.

I got a single with cheese. The patty was thin... which i expect but was about half the size of the slice of cheese. It was ridiculous.

Waitress was horrible , no personality me and my fiancé were served with to go cups . Wouldn’t have been that big of a deal but my girl ordered one shake and specifically told the waitress to bring two straws so we could romantically share the shake but we figured maybe it was due to Covid we gave her the benefit of the doubt. But then we observed another waitress doing her job properly and we seen a tray of glasses. Had to leave and will probably never eat there again. So if you do decide to dine in avoid the red head with literally 12 bracelets on each wrists.
Terrible burger and I could tell it was sitting around for a while all the veggies on it were flaccid and wilted I know what an old tomato looks like, i have composts before..the shakes were ok but ALL OF IT WAS ROBBERY BC if the folks on the other end were in my shoes, well they wouldnt be would they?Its a shame no one seems to have and integrity.Open all night but youd be better off making a couple fried bologna sandwiches at home and mixing up your own shake!

We came in with a party of 9 and by mistake got skipped to be seated… everyone acted quickly to get us seated. Our server was Jillian and she was just the BEST! She definitely made our lunch a pleasant one!! Thank you for the shakes :)

Lets see we are currently here were seated and waited forever for someone to come over to ask how long we have been here then says we arent her table and she goes to see who has us and the other employees commence to argue about taking our table guess Noone wanted to serve our family. She comes back and says she will just take our order. I must say this honestly made it where we wanted to leave and we havent even made it to the meal yetWhen I asked to speak with a manager I was told they are all too busy. Yea steak n shake not cool.

Ive been eating at this particular location since it first opened back in the mid 90s. I highly recommend the Frisco melt and patty melt. Too good! The fries are delicious, especially with the melted cheddar cheese you can get. Drinks and shakes are always good. Ive always enjoyed the atmosphere inside the restaurant also. I hope this place stays around forever.

I have always loved this place. But tonight was it for me! I got a small order of chilli Mac that was extremely spicy. Due to medical issues cant have spicy anything. Ate it and then we only seen our waiter twice, for our food and drinks. Didnt get all my food (different waiter brought it to me) (had to walk up to someone for some napkins) didnt get any refills on our drinks and now Im at home sick as all get out!!! Will not be going back!!!

I put it on my dash to warm it up 🤦♀️ I was very excited to move to GA because they have a SNS but come on.I will say that when we ate there with our 3 boys a few days ago Claire did a great job! we know she had just started but she was really doing all she could for us.

I really should give it only two stars, I am taking into consideration that they appeared to be changing shifts when I got there. I ordered my burger online. I substituted chips for fries. I had to wait more than 10 minutes for the food.They finally gave me the food and it had fries they said they no longer carry chips. And to add insult to injury the burger wasnt very tasty.

Myself and my family have eaten at this location several times over the years. Tonight has to be the hands down worst I have ever had eating here. We had a party of five and was waiting on two more to arrive. We had a friendly greeting and seated pretty quick. E had one waitress come by and tell us they would be with us in a minute. Few minutes went by and still no waitress. A different waitress finally comes by after being there 15 or so minutes and takes our drink order. At this time we already knew what we wanted to eat so we ordered our dinner as well. Another 10 minutes goes by before we get our drinks. We finally get our meals and everyone meal is correct but mine. I had ordered a triple steak burger and received a a double bacon burger. I was annoyed at this time and decided to just eat the burger and pay my bill. We finish our meal without any waitress checking on us. If they had we would of ask for condiments to put on our sandwiches and hotdogs and notified them that both bowls of chili was cold and didn’t taste well. Instead we set for another 20 minutes waiting for the bill while the majority of the wait staff talked in the back or near the front register. There seemed to be no manager, at least one that was managing there staff on duty. The service and food quality we received tonight has made me and my family decided to never step foot back into this store. We came because it was always good food and service now we will never return due to how poor this establishment has become.
Waitress was rude and not well trained. I blame the management for that. The item I ordered wasnt correct and when I mentioned it the waitress didnt know how it was supposed to look. The manager came and offered a discount but when we got to the register and paid the discount was only a few dollars. I feel like we should have gotten more of a discount. Maybe even a free meal.

This is the best Steak and Shake Ive ever been to. And they are consistently excellent. Ate here a few years ago and it was so good we had it 2 nights in a row. Passing through this weekend we pulled in again and once again it was fantastic. Food was fantastic and served fast, restaurant was clean , service was on point. In contrast we recently got a new Steak and Shake in Panama City and its so poorly run we dont go there after multiple attempts to get acceptable service. Tallahassee has never been good either. Management and staff clearly take pride at the Columbus location and I thank them for their great service

Just picked up food through the drive threw.got home triple cheeseburger with everything on it. sloppy,a tomato on it looked like they pulled it out of the trash can.was just a peice.looked like it was half eaten.fry boxes were half full.got large.never going back,if you dont wanna do a good job at what you do then dont do anything.live off the gov.

I eat at the Columbus, GA Steak n Shake as often as I can! I usually try to time my visits to take advantage of their awesome half price shakes---to go with my tasty triple and skinny fries! YUMMY! I enjoy occasionally paying for soldiers meals, as I thank them for their service! I love seeing their appreciation and smiles on their faces!
My first visit is also my last visit. All the food I ordered was cold and the fries tasted as though they were cooked the day before. By far the worst place I’ve ever eaten. Most of the food went in the garbage. Never again !! Negative stars across the board.
This is my first time ever coming to steak and shake and most likely my last time, the drive thru lady was really sweet and she did say everything was made fresh but my fries were cold and stale. Food regulations food has to be at a certain temp it not you could get sick. The burger was hot and quite tasty but the fries really spoiled this trip for me

Ordered food through the drive-thru had issues with the young lady being rude. Got to window to pick up food same behavior. She also forgot my drink. Called to let them know what happened. The management seem so confused told me they needed my name and to come back the same day to pick up drink if not I can’t get it later. I told them don’t worry about it it’s not that serious. I don’t know what happened to their service..but I won’t be going back anytime soon.
Other than the bathroom being dirty...its your typical steak and shake.

Deplorable I cldnt even eat the garlic sumthing burger 🍔and we were traveling, so we didnt hv time to turn around and take the order back, we were 5 cars full of ppl, and we had to stop again to order edible food, the burgers were also very small but just horrible, and we had to wait for it to be prepared

Swich (patty melt) had regular cheese, and on white bread instead of rye, fries were lukewarm. Servers were so busy, couldnt get refill and had to run her down for the check.
They were way understaffed for how busy they were!!!! I want to thank Leilani for taking care of us the best she could with how crazy it was. Its not the servers fault for not having enough help. For one thing.... its a weekend. The business needs to do better to make sure they are staffed to fill the demand. As far as the food goes, its really good. I do recommend the food, but would get it drive thru next time.

The first 30 minutes was deciphering drinks. They took our drink order. During the order we let them know it would be on spereate checks. We were told they would take care of it. After receiving our drinks a second waitress came over and asked who ordered what so they could separate them. No bid deal. On to ordering food. After placing the order we sat for quite some time before they came back to take all 12 of our orders again because the ticket was misplaced! After 45 minutes we paid for our drinks. Tipped the waitress who was trying super hard and headed across the road to Burger King!The deciding factor was the one one lady trying very hard (Davina I believe) while a group of staff sat in the corner not assisting. Truly sad.

Food was decent but Destiyn gave the worst service ever. Looked at us for almost 5 minutes and drinking her drink before seating us. (Only 2 other guests already seated). And then was slow and kept rolling her eyes while taking orders and doing anything. Only reason she even got a tip was because I was scared to hand her my card for risk of her stealing and tipping herself because she gave off that attitude. Could’ve been having a bad day, but this employee right here ruined my chance at coming back for a while.

We were there on September 24th 2020 at about 2:45 PM. I had gotten the double butter steak burger, fries & a coke (meal). Let me tell you, it was awesome!! The food was fresh & hot! The butter burger was delicious!! It practically melted into my mouth!! Every single bite had those sweet carmelized onions!! I cant remember when I have had a better hamburger!! I hope the people of Columbus and the surrounding area know how lucky they are to be able to eat there whenever they feel like it! 🍔🥰👍

Waited about 15 minutes after being seated and asked one waitress who was supposed to be waiting on us and she walked around to where the other 4 waitresses are at just standing they start contemplating on which one is gonna wait on us, needless to say we got up and walked out. Called the manager and let her know. Wasnt the first bad experience there. Wont be returning there again.
One of our favorite places in town. Yes, it is simple, sit-down fast food, but that does not mean it cannot be a great burger. Something about it those burgers! Food is always well prepared, service is most always attentive and friendly, and professional. Theyve got some killer fries, their shakes are delicious, and management is always circulating landing a hand with whatever and checking with every customer. Whats there not to love!

My family have been to this location on a few separate occasions. Tonight was ridiculous. We were sat, and then pretty much forgot about. SEVERAL servers passed us, not one even thought to get our drink order. There were 6 tables in the entire place at the time we sat down. After fifteen minutes of waiting for someone to acknowledge us, Missy finally came over and got our order. She was great and was the only reason we left happy (honestly the only reason we stayed is because my kids wanted a milk shake). There is no reason that at Least four other servers should have passed our table after seeing us sit there for so long. I looked around quite a few time and noticed that they were basically socializing behind the counter. We were in the middle tables, with three children that aren’t exactly quiet. NO EXCUSES.
Its was really great priced and we got a lot of food for our money. We ordered the chilli cheese fries my husband loves them I on the other hand thought there was way to much chilli. My fries were no longer fries instead chilli soaked potatoes. There was just to much chilli for my taste. But the drive through employee was very nice and provided us with great service.
I told them I want a number 5 but hold the patty cause I dont like beef. He didnt get it. Food was delicious though.

I love Steak n Shake. They have great pancakes and the best milk shakes around! They have good service and good food. I love the grilled chicken sandwich with Frisco sauce. And did I mention they have really great shakes! Its a nice, kinda laid back diner atmosphere. be sure to try their cookie butter shake its soooooo good...

Honestly, it was not a bad option. For 6 people was 62 bucks so average about 10 dollars and change for each meal. We had 6 meals and 5 shakes. The steakburger is delicious and fresh tasting, my family really likes the thin fries they make. Not the healthiest option for sure but I knew that going into it. I will go back.

As I stated in a review for the Prattville, Alabama location, my wife loves her some Steak n Shake! The food here in Columbus was fantastic, as always. The only hiccup was that they made her burger incorrectly; had to dock them a star for that. Otherwise, the visit was phenomenal!Btw, did you guys know you can buy the cool Steak n Shake branded Coca-Cola cups from them? Well, you can at this location, anyway!
Take some wipes and clean the tables and chairs yourself. Food was not hot but was okay. Server was busy and didnt return until the meal was complete, which was half thrown out. Try the drive thru window. Maybe the food will be hot. Or maybe visit just before Noon?

The specialty burgers are great. The fries were crispy,and the portions were large. Not a diet friendly plsce, but tasty.. The ice cream shakes are the bomb. Food was as I remembered from 6 years ago. Ordered Original Double Cheese Burger w Fries and a drink. Waiter was friendly though scripted and very attentive. Food was warm when it arrived at table. First time eating had the est milk shake
This was the absolutely BEST Steak n Shake I have ever been to. My boyfriend and I were driving home from vacation and decided to stop by at lunch since the wait at Cracker Barrell was so long. We were a bit hesitant since the Steak n Shakes we have been to have always been slow and had terrible service. However, we had someone greet us when we came in and immediately sat us. We received drinks in just a few minutes and our food within 10. Not only did our server check on us frequently, but the manager also came by to make sure we were enjoying everything. The employee at the register even asked us how our milkshakes were when we went up to pay. If only we lived near Columbus, we would definitely make this a habit of visiting this restaurant because we have never had such kind and quick customer service! When we are back in the area, I will definitely feel confident in being able to get my food quickly at this location. Best Steak n Shake visit Ive ever had- this visit restored my hope that there are actually still awesome Steak n Shakes out there. 5/5 stars!
After fighting with the app for 30 minutes I call the Bradley Park Store in Columbus, GA. After 5 rings someone finally picked up the phone by saying hello. Then once I responded that I would like to place an order for pickup, the line went silent before being hung up. Regional management needs to get this store back under control as their service has been steadily declining the past 5 years we have lived in this area. Absolutely horrible service.

Either you like it or you dont but they have the best inexpensive burgers in town. Always fast service, the food is hot and as ordered. No surprises just good food. Milk shakes are the best too.
Always a friendly environment. I come here after work with some friends/ coworkers around midnight-4AM and the staff never makes us feel as though we are an inconvenience. Weve actually made friends with a few of them. The head manager could be better though. She doesnt stick up for the waitresses when theres a customer complaint. Overall, I really enjoy coming here and will continue to do so.

Ordered onion rings and probably got 6 or 7. French fries pretty much same way. Potatoes are cheap so a few more is not expensive. Burger was good.
Stopped in to get some take out on my way to back Atlanta. Ordered my favorite grill chicken sandwich and it was under cooked. Tried to call back 3 times and no one answered the telephone to take my complaint. Make sure to check your food before you drive off if you ordered take out.Cook needs more training and its never to busy to answer the phone for a paying customer. I hope I dont get sick. SMH

I was just in a few minutes ago. I’m allergic to a lot of things and they did everything possible so that I wouldnt go in to shock. They cleaned the grill, put the seasonings I asked to be put on, checked everything for the things I’m allergic to and confirmed that they weren’t in there. I love this restaurant just because they take the time to look and make sure that things are okay, and they constantly checked on me to make sure things were okay. I loved it 110% the waitress was so nice and drew me a picture as motivation that things would get better. I was very happy at the end
I was motivated to come back to change my rating. Yesterday I waited for 15 minutes to be served at the counter. The manager walked by me multiple times to cash out other patrons. Not once asked if I was served yet. I like the food, and usually have a decent experience. I understand she’s managing a young group of employees, but there’s no need for small chat with them when they have people who haven’t been served. I ended up leaving. Maybe I should’ve tried the drive through.

The food was consistent for any Steak n Shake. Our servers drove the 5 star rating. We had a group of 17 and the service was fantastic. Im doing the low carb thing and ordered my burger without a bun our server picked right up on that and offered great options without even being asked. Absolutely above and beyond service!
I enjoyed our visit to Steak&Shake. The food was great and the mint chocolate shake was delicious. But what I enjoyed most was the service. Collette was very punctual and attentive. We will be back more often. XoXo
The employees will straight up look at you, roll their eyes and ignore you when you arrive. I had to wait at least 10 minutes before I was acknowledged.I ordered ahead of time with the app and paid for it. So I couldnt just leave. In addition, the burgers were so greasy I didnt want to eat meat anymore.
This place really depends on the time you come in. I say come in before the night shift because the service gets bad afterwards. Waited a while to get the shakes my boyfriend and I ordered tonight and he never got his bbq sauce. We had the two employees switch between us and still barley got any service. Our waiter disappeared after taking our order and then only saw him again when he gave us our shakes 20 minutes after the food came out. I recommend Scott as a waiter. Very nice young man. Checks in like a good waiter should.
Eye lashe in my food, didnt bring me what I ordered , I had to ask for silverware. Only brought one when there were two of us. I ripped my napkin in half so my husband could have one. And the food was half cooked. They really didnt want to make money I guess.. jeez I didnt drive 10 hrs to stop at that place for that service. I would have continued driving of I knew what I was getting.
Felt rushed. Place does not smell like good food more like a greasy spoon. Grease must need to be changed. I hope the food tastes better. Waiting for my portabello and swiss burger with fries and vanilla shake lets see if good. Burger was a bit salty and onions overpowered. Fries cold not fresh. Shake was good. 2022-06-03Had the bacon steakhouse burgers with fries and the m & m shake. The burger was extremely small and the fries came in a small box. That was $12 alone which is crazy for such a tiny burger. The picture of the burger made it look big so I assumed it was! Shame on me, at least it was delicious, that’s what saved it. The shake was horrible tho! I’m sorry but the best thing on it was the whip cream. The shake tasted like old ice and I didn’t tasted any sugar. Also, the m & m’s tasted very old as well. That made the whole meal underwhelming.

2022-06-30The hubby and I had never been so we went. And the food was horrid. The burgers tasted like cardboard and were dipped in garlic butter. The fries themselves were another story, they were cold and stale . How does that place even stay open .

2022-05-19Went through asking for 2 combos both having large fries WITH garlic parm seasoning and large cokes with no ice. Both fries had no seasoning were small size and had to argue that fact with the people in the window. Pulling them out to show there was no seasoning on them. One coke was hardly even half full and had to then ask for it to be actually filled up fully. Also asked for 2 extra sauces was charged for both but only had one in the bag. By far one of the worst trips to one of my favorite places to eat.

2021-10-15My sandwich was not only so cold that the cheese wasnt melted, the bread was cold and I bit into a stable about 3 bites into the sandwich and threw the rest away. I tried calling the restaurant but no one answered and I was too far away to turn back around. The Drive thru young lady was nice and the milkshake was yummy but I wont be back.
