Got some granite countertops installed two years ago through Home Depot. They cut the hole for a sink that wasnt the one I ordered, but they offered the sink for free if I agreed not to make them cut an entirely new countertop for the right one. I wasnt thrilled about that, but I accepted.Fast forward two and a half years, and now theres a massive crack in the countertop. I tried calling the number on the back of the folder that my warranty came in, but all I got was a recorded message saying that it didnt recognize an order for the phone number I was calling from (its the same phone number I had when I ordered it) and that I should try a different number.I looked up the company on Google and called the number listed there. I got the same message. I went to the companys website and tried two different numbers I found on there. One was the same recorded message again, and the other was for a chance to win a $100 Walmart gift card. This place is a complete joke. Im in contact with Home Depot to see if theyre going to step up and help me, but if theyre doing business with a shady subcontractor like this, Im not hopeful.
Absolutely beautiful job. The counter tops are gorgeous. Better than I even dreamed. Carlos and Cruz were our installers and could not ask for a more professional duo. Those guys are great! Would highly recommend this company and these installers. Again and again! Thanks for the great job!
I had a great experience with Stone Systems of Atlanta. I purchased a quartz counter top for my island, kitchen and both counter tops in the bathrooms. All matched and were ordered through Home Depot but installed by Stone Systems. The quartz countertops are beautiful and have incredible veins. They did a fantastic job installing them and their staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The area coordinator and office staff were quick to answer any questions and return our calls. One of the countertops had a little yellow spot of discolor and when we notified them, they sent a staff member out the next day to fix the issue for free. Incredible customer service and would recommend!
They have not and probably will not communicate with you at any point. Ive been working with this company through Home Depot for 4-5 weeks so far and Im out $2,100 and no install date. The folks at Home Depot have been instrumental in coordinating with them to come out and do measurements but even they cant get any updates past that point. If you need your countertops done use a different company, go to Lowes instead or just hire some random guy on the street, youll probably get better results.Post install edit: Although the communication isnt up to standard, the work looks really good so far. They were in and out within an hour and even stayed behind to answer a few clarifying questions.
We were given a window of 2-6 pm for our granite installation, and my husband called that day to verify we were on the schedule. Between 4:30 and 5, we called because we had heard nothing from them and it was getting close to end of business. The office had closed at 4:30, so I left a voicemail. Someone returned my call to say our job would need to be rescheduled. The job was done two days later, and the installers (Carlos and Cruz) were friendly and professional, and did a great job. They are, however, subcontractors and not employees of this company. The major flaw of this company, in my experience, is lack of communication. I expressed this to Alex Perez, operations manager, who is himself is slow to return phone calls. We initiated all communication with this company and wasted an entire afternoon waiting for them.We were Lowe’s customers who were referred to this company. Lesson learned.
My entire experience was wonderful! The team at Stone Systems are amazing! The installers were so polite and professional. I did discover a very small chip and Stone Systems sent a repair man the next day to fix the issue! My counters are flawless, my kitchen is gorgeous!
This is a subcontractor for Home Depot. Very shoddy work. The people sent to do the work were subcontractors as well, rushed through my countertop installation, then insisted I write something good, about them on a review form. The countertops themselves were poorly finished, and needed further work. In all, it took two more returns to correct the problems. If you want a sloppy job, return visits, endless corrections, these are the guys for you!
I used Stone Systems through Home Depot and it was a HUGE MISTAKE. I paid in full for my countertops on September 16. They were not installed until November 9. Absolutely TERRIBLE communication. I will never use this company again, and highly recommend that if you are looking for new countertops, you find a different contractor to do the work!
These folks did a great job on our new solid surface bathroom vanity top. Couldnt be more pleased with the final product and the professionalism of the company. They were the contractor for Home Depot where I ordered the new top. This was a 45 year old vanity original to the house. Everything is flush with the existing tile (also 45 years old) and walls, and looks great. Took them all of 20 minutes to install the new top, drill holes for the new faucet, and clean up. Great experience and great company. I see why Home Depot contracts with them.
Will never work with them again. They charge you for really random stuff and they over measure the stone so they can charge you more. We needed their service for our mini kitchen but they were trying to charge us for carrying a large piece and we had no idea what they were talking about. We also had the sink present on the site for their person to see and even if it was over mount they put in under mount so they could also charge more.
UPDATE< I finally went down to lowes after no call and requested money back. They didnt even ask questions. I went to AA granite and next weem measurements on Wed and Friday approval. Things went QUICK with a private company. Better price too.---------------------------------------------------------------------------Ill update this if things change. I paid for countertops 2 weeks ago at lowes a week late on July 8th they sent me a text that they will contact me WITHIN 24 hours. Today July 13th I called to confirm I didnt miss a call. No word from them. Calling leads to a machine no matter what choice you pick. Left 2 messages, but no word on what is happening. Lowes said after I pay it would be 2 to 3 weeks to get installed. 2 weeks so far and they havent even scheduled a day or time to confirm estimated square footage.Ill be requesting money back and going to a private company if I dont hear back in 3 days.after reading other reviews Im worried it will be months waiting from someone to call.Lowes in Buford, GA was great, but this company seems to slow things down and make it frustrating.
Stone Systems of Atlanta did not respect my time on installation day. Be warned that they deliberately overbook the installation teams and will likely be later than the window provided. My window was 1pm to 4pm and did not arrive until after 6pm. I could have avoided using a half day of vacation had I known. The shift manager, Gene, was quick to apologize and led me to believe I would receive a monetary discount for the inconvenience. Days later he said his Ops manager denied the request. They instead asked me if I wanted the sink cut out to use as a cutting board. As far as I’m concerned, it is theft to not provide this material any time there is a sink installed. This was contracted through Home Depot Cumberland Parkway.
Stone Systems did a great job installing our KItchen tops which included an island. The crew showed up on time and left things clean. The drop-in sink lined up with the window and looks elegant. We had an issue with the tops and customer service sent a tech out who promptly took care of the problem.
Technician came to the house did a template. He was very polite and friendly. Then I received a call telling me the granite would be installed on the 25th of May; this was memorial day. I thought maybe they would send out a third party contractor, but nothing. I called the company and they said we dont know anything about your install, your order hasnt even been cut. It has been since April 12th I have been without a kitchen. Now they are trying to say it is because of Covid-19 that we are behind but yet I get told that it would be installed on the 25th. This company is full of excuses and i would recommend never using them. They are quick to take your money but slow to give you what you paid for.
This is absolutely the worst company to deal with they had to replace my countertops they damaged my sink they damaged my cabinets if they had just installed it right the first time it would not of happened they installed it on Tuesday and on Friday I finally got the water hooked up that they had unhooked still I have no cooktop Bryan is a joke and the installer Terry is worse. These were silestone countertops and should have had a almost invisible seam instead it look like a fourth of an inch grout line filled in it cracked called silestone they stood behind there product that is why they were replaced. I would not deal with this company, silestone is great product and a great company.
Worst experience so far - purchased countertops thru Lowes as this is who they outsource to (obviously Home Depot also) and Ive been trying for a week now just to schedule the templating. mind you not a weeks wait before someone can get here, but just to get a return phone call to schedule! After over 5 calls to Lowes Installation Services and to my sales person at Lowes and nothing for a WEEK. Im in great fear of how long it will take to actually get a body here to measure, let alone how long to fabricate the counters. Unbelievable that they still are in business and shame on Home Depot and Lowes for continuing to do business with them.
Our countertops were outsourced to this company by Home Depot. Garbage service. Cut counters wrong, resulting in having to reschedule all of my other contractors, damaged my oven frame, tile backsplash and even put a hole in my bar stool upholstery during countertop removal. The whole experience has been a nightmare. Absolutely do not recommend this company.
From my first impression I am so disappointed. We found out about this company through Home Depot. We purchased our kitchen cabinets and counter tops from Home Depot and they outsource with this company. WE were supposed to schedule an appointment for them to come out and do the template; however, it has been hard as ever to get in contact with this company. When we call it just rings and rings. The process has already begun to install my cabinets, but I have a No Show or Response from the cabinet company. Im surprised Home Depot Outsources with a company like this.

2022-06-24DO NOT USE THIS COMAPNY! I purchased cabinets and quartz countertops from Cabinets To Go. The cabinets are great, the countertops are not. The quartz installed in my kitchen on May 2, 2022 do not match. I have two different quartz adjacent to each other. The difference is obvious. Cabinets To Go state that they are not responsible for the countertops even though they took my money and subcontracted it out to Stone Systems of Atlanta. I paid over $7200 for the mismatched quartz. Stone Systems of Atlanta will not respond to my emails, and I can not get anyone on the phone that can help. Stone Systems of Atlanta got the quartz from Cosentino Center in Norcross, GA. Stone Systems of Atlanta claim that they are trying to get the paperwork from Cosentino in Norcross, GA. to show that the quartz came from the same slab. No one will provide this information, nor will they respond to me. Carmine at Cabinets To Go in Lilburn continues to say that they are not liable for the countertops even though he 100% agrees that the quartz does not match. My husband and I have been dealing with Cabinets To Go in Lilburn speaking with Carmine since the quartz was installed on May 2, 2022 with constant stalling.

2022-01-06After calling Home Depot because my countertops popped for no reason, they direct me to Stone Systems of Atlanta, the installer. After waiting days, a man by the name of Gene comes out and does several tests. He says he can’t seem to find out what caused the crack. He says the counter looks level and after doing a heat test, he says the damage couldn’t have been caused by heat and that more than likely, the stone I received is flawed. He then tells me that he’ll have to send his report to Cosentino, who I had never heard of before, and submit a claim. He says they’ll more than likely deny the claim because that’s what they always do but that’s all that Stone Systems of Atlanta can do. It’s been almost two months and I’ve heard nothing from no one.

2021-12-11Had a great experience with Stone Systems of Atlanta. Easy process from picking out counter top slab down to install great selection of material. Fast and friendly service techs doing the installation, we had one issue with sink but made provision to fix very quickly. Highly recommend Stone Systems of Atlanta.

2021-11-16We had a great experience. The countertops themselves look amazing (we went with quartz - Viatera Muse) and the process went very smoothly for us. We actually had to reschedule the template and install because of delays on our side, not theirs, and they were very accommodating to our shifting timeline. The installers were both courteous and proficient - they installed all 4 pieces, including a 4 ft x 10 ft island slab, in just a few hours. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!

2022-03-22My requests were a little unusual, repurposing an unused area to become a butlers pantry - in fact I had some difficulties with the other contractors because I was very specific in what I was asking them to do.Jeremy and the whole crew at Stone Systems of Atlanta was just terrific to work with. They scheduled and came (exactly on time) to get their measurements and talk with me about what I wanted and were just terrific to work with from start to finish. The finished countertop / sink / work area were a bit unusual in design, to make full use of the space I was working with, and the outcome is just splendid!I highly recommend Stone Systems and when we redo our full kitchen they will be my first call!

2022-01-18I had a wonderful experience with Jeremy and the installers. I went through Home Depot and selected my countertops and purchased a new sink as well. A representative from Stone Systems came out to my home and took measurements of my countertops and I showed him the box with my new sink. He asked if he could open the box to get the sink template to ensure they measure the sink hole correctly. He left with the countertops measurements and sink template. About three weeks later the installers came with my new countertops and unfortunately the sink hole was measured incorrectly and the sink could not fit. The installer was extremely nice and courteous and gave me the proper POC to resolve the issue and I had to contact Hone Depot of the issue as well. That same night, Jeremy called and want to get a summary of the issue. He was extremely professional, courteous, and willing to resolve the issue to the best of his ability. Not only was he extremely nice, he made sure to keep me posted with every update and detail of the process of installation of my new countertops. He sent me pictures to ensure I knew exactly how the countertops would look. Stone Systems did not have my exact stone available so I was accommodated with a even beautiful quartz countertop and Jeremy was patience and helpful along the way! Jeremy even sent me information relating to the warranty and self care of the countertops! The installers came back out and they were just as professional and courteous as before. I am so grateful of his customer service throughout this stressful process. The installers and Jeremy deserve to be highlighted in this review with 5 stars! EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THIS TEAM!!🌟🌟🌟🌟

2020-03-23I recently had Silestone quartz counter tops installed at my home by Stone Systems. The whole process was really smooth, from meeting with Angie and working out the quote, to measurements at the house, to installation. The installers were very professional and the counter tops fit in perfectly. They were happy to add caulk in areas I requested to make sure I was 100% happy. Thank you Stone Systems for making this an easy process!

2018-07-13Literally the worst experience you can imagine in kitchen remodel. After the measuring it took three days for them to enter the measurements into the system. Keep in mind this is four rectangles. We waited 42 days from the time of order to the date of installation. At the time of installation the sink hole was over two inches off and the counters would not fit. On top of that the corners were rounded when they were asked to be square, the edges were rough, and the bevel was incomplete. This was this morning, and who knows when we will actually get them installed. Literally the worst job I have seen. If Google would let me go with zero stars, I would.
