TL;DR: Started with a 6 week challenge, lost 23 lbs and gained an amazing group of driven friends and developed healthy habits.Here is why you want to be a part of CrossFit Canton: the community.I have subscribed to various gyms, different CrossFit spots included. I showed up to get some information about one of the CFC programs, the 6 week challenge, then I met coach Candi. She is a wonderful, understanding, and nurturing and we connected instantly.I signed up and started the program which was very organized. There is a program that includes an introduction to the community and guides to create healthy habits with individualized nutrition plans and scaled workouts to meet your fitness level.All of the coaches care about your journey and go out of their way to meet you where youre at and help you achieve your goals. There are so many people from all walks of life and varying levels of fitness. It is a very accepting and motivating atmosphere.My fitness journey is my own, and it has had setbacks and challenges. My community of friends and coaches stay with me every step of the way. They encourage me and keep me focused on the big picture. I have learned to accept that overall success is really measured by putting more energy and effort into reaching for success and accepting where I am and where I want to be rather than dwelling on moments of perceived failure. With that said, I would encourage anyone determined to be the best version of themselves to walk in the door and see what were all about.
I just completed 6 weeks of workouts at Canton CrossFit with awesome results, I lost 23.8 lbs and 2.5% body fat! The coaching staff is very knowledgeable, supportive and drove me to success. I fully appreciated the comprehensive coaching that included work outs that delivered results and recipes that were simplified and easy to follow. I would highly recommend this gym to those who would like to get into Crossfit and who are looking for transformational results.
CrossFit Canton is a great place for levels of experience of fitness and those in general willing to put in the effort for a better you. I joined during the transformation challenged and liked the personal attention that all the coaches provide in and out of the box. It is extremely motivating and keeps you accountable. Highly recommend checking them out!
CrossFit Canton is an environment filled with positivity and encouragement. I did the 42 day transformation challenge and lost 10 pounds and 4.1% body fat. Billy Ayala was the person who got me started and rooted me on each and every time I was there! All of the coaches, especially Juan, were amazing! I love CrossFit Canton!
Just finished the 28 day challenge. The people there are friendly and supportive and the coaches help you find a way to get in the workout at each station no matter your level of fitness or challenge with any difficulties (bad knees, shoulder surgery, etc). It was helpful to learn the workouts and how they target specific muscle groups. I can see changes in various parts of my body and we will see what my results are on paper in the morning. Time well spent.
What an amazing experience!! Just completed the 6 week challenge at Crossfit Canton. Im down 33+ pounds and feel better than I have in at least 2 decades! The coaches and staff were the best. Helping and pushing me when I needed it, and letting me ease up a bit when necessary. Could not have done it without them. Appreciate it so much that I signed on for a full year. Will be down at least 75 more pounds by end of year. Thanks guys and gals!!
I was introduced to CrossFit Canton through their 6 Week Challenge. I was incredibly nervous but everyone at the gym was so welcoming. It instantly felt like a family. I looked forward to the workouts everyday and not one did I dread going to the gym. I love this place and I’m now a full time member!
CrossFit Canton is an excellent Gym; they are interested in helping you attain your goals, meeting you where you are at the moment—while challenging and changing your habits and skills.I have just completed the 6 week Challenge and am now transitioning to a year membership; many thanks CFC coaches and members - you have created a positive and motivating environment at CFC!
Just finished the 28 day challenge and was very happy with the results. The coaches are great and they ensure that you can complete your workout with everyone else no matter what level you are at. There is a lot of energy and support at this place! Highly recommend.....thanks CFC!
Gyms or boxes (to use the correct crossfit term!) seem to each have personalities. At Crossfit Canton, their personality seems to family/togetherness and a focus on a community atmosphere. Though many say it, they actually achieve it and do it daily/weekly. The coaches are focused on you achieving your goals. They ensure you have the right form, have a good time, and push you to your limits. The class members are excited for each other to hit PRs, knock out a new goals, and survive together through sometimes difficult workouts/challenges. The events they do together outside of class offer multiple opportunities to hang out as a family. They do not program easy workouts, but I completely enjoyed completing the workouts/challenges and found myself wanting more. I fully recommend this box to everyone.
The coaches are very personable and are there to help hold accountability. It isn’t a gym atmosphere, it is a family/community. They help you identify your goals and lay out a plan to achieve it while cheering you along the way. They focus on accountability, nutrition, and exercise and it is in these three ways they will help you achieve what you thought was grueling to do on your own. This is for all people of every fitness level who are committed to work for the results they are looking for. There are lots of class times and work with you when the rest of life gets in the way. Bring yourself and a good attitude and they will welcome you with open arms. You will be glad you did.
Crossfit Canton changed my life. I lost more than 20 lbs in the 6 week challenge and I gained so much energy I run circles around my students now. The coaches are fun, encouraging, and so helpful. I truly believe anyone can do crossfit because they consider your abilities and alter the workouts to fit your needs. There is no better place to get your life back.
This place is awesome!! I just completed the 6 week challenge and not once did I feel like I could not do something. The coach(s) will show you a different way to do the same workout. If you are looking for a place that will help you meet your goals Canton CrossFit is the place to go!
I started going to this gym about 18 months ago. It’s been a life changing process for me. I have always been active growing up. I played sports in high school and ran long distance into my 30’s. The coach’s and other members are becoming a second family for me. They push me to stay active, and go beyond my fitness goals. I can’t say enough about this place. I truly love it.
Have been going here for 10 months. This gym has top notch coaches and programs that work for anyone’s fitness level. The coaches at Strive really take the time to educate you on proper form and technique. The environment here is very welcoming and not intimidating like some of those big global type gyms. I highly recommend Strive Health and Fitness.
6 Weeks ago I started the 6 Week Challenge with Coach Candi. I saw the sponsored ad on Facebook and thought, what the heck, let me get a jump start on my summer fitness. My brother has been an avid CrossFitter for years and this program peaked my interest. The family that welcomed me in the gym was authentic, sincere, and genuinely encouraging. I REALLY enjoy the group classes with the coaches keeping an eye on each member making sure they are working to their bests abilities all while pushing each person appropriately.I encourage anyone to take any preconceived thoughts about Crossfit and throw them out the window. Canton Crossfit is a Box of incredibly committed and positive folks who want nothing more than to better themselves and to help better the lives of the others around them. I am proud to have gone through the Challenge... I lost 10lbs and 4.5% body fat and have Joined the family and look forward to my husband joining as well.Thank you CrossFit Canton!!!!!!!!!!
I started my journey with Crossfit Canton 6 weeks ago during their promotion for the 6 week Challenge and my life has changed so much in a short 6 weeks! (Lot of 6 weeks there!)I knew it would be a challenge and I was scared to death, but something had to change because I was stuck in a rut and my body was in need of something different.I was truly terrified because I didnt know what would be required and I had always heard how hard Crossfit was an I wasnt sure if I could do it...Boy was I in for a surprise!!!After my initial consultation with my awesome(and very perky&excitable!) Coach Karen, I had a decision to make... go all in and put it all on the line, or walk away and take the safe route ... but you guessed it! I took a chance and signed up!My first work out class I thought I was going to pass out and by that Wednesday I wasnt sure what I had signed up for, but each day got a little better and a little better! Detoxing from sugar was the hardest part I had, but once I got through those first few days, it got a little easier each time!6 weeks later, I am down over 18 pounds and feel better than I have in a very long time!!! My clothes fit better, I work out with excitement now and am looking forward to seeing the future ME!Every Coach at Crossfit Canton were the absolute best!!! They were constantly encouraging, always had something positive to say every single day and even when I had a little set back here and there, they would be there to help me overcome it and keep motivating me!I just cant say enough great things about them and I LOVE the friendships that have been made over these past few weeks... I feel like Im part of a new and awesome family!
I know a lot of places really like to brag about being a family but Strive people really are. From the second you walk in the door you are encouraged and accepted as part of their group, and you instantly make lots of friends who are so encouraging...even when you are slower and weaker than all of them. I came from another gym and Strive has been a STARK contrast (for the better) and the more I go, the more I love going. My kids are welcome there and the coaches even know their names, and they love playing with some of the other kids that come there too. And thats just the environment part. To top it all off, I am getting stronger and more in shape and really enjoying challenging myself and learning how to do all the lifting. Highly encourage anyone to try it out. You dont need any experience, just a willing spirit. 5 out of 5 WOULD recommend :)
Nice, friendly, and inviting staff and members. I dropped in for a few days and felt like I was a regular. Programming was very good, challenging but not overwhelming. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area who needs a nice, clean, well staffed and equipped CrossFit box!
Just finished a 28 day challenge at Crossfit Canton. Shed 3% body fat and some pounds and inches too. I love the HIIT workouts and the coaching was a game changer! They have established a great climate of camaraderie and support that makes the challenging workouts more of a team effort. Highly recommend!
My experience with CrossFit Canton was absolutely wonderful! I recently completed the 6 Week Challenge, but with a unique set of goals. I have wrestled for most of my life (I assistant-coach Sequoyah youth now) and served 8 years in the Air Force, so I’ve never been a stranger to fitness. Since I got out of the military two years ago, however, I had lost 20 lbs. My family was starting to comment that I’d “lost some weight” and I didn’t like who I saw in the mirror anymore. Instead of eating junk food, I would often opt to skip a meal or two and as a result, I had developed some dangerous habits. I needed help. I knew some of the benefits CFC offered, such as nutrition training, because I had flirted with the idea of joining in the past, but told them I couldn’t afford the membership. When the offer to join the 6 Week Challenge for FREE came across my Facebook feed, I jumped at the chance and could not be happier with the results AFTER JUST 6 WEEKS! I’ve gained almost 10 lbs of muscle and have restored a healthy amount of body fat. The coaches at CFC and the CrossFit community as a whole are AWESOME! I’ve finally met a group of people who enjoy pushing their physical and mental limits every day in order to achieve an overarching common goal - fitness. It’s not about who can lift what or how many muscle ups you can do. We support each other through a common struggle so that everyone can succeed. If you’re tired of failing at your fitness goals and wondering if CrossFit Canton is worth it, I’m telling you they’re worth every single sweaty, painful, dig-down-deep second you have to give. Great facility, even better coaches and athletes. Great place to work on your functional fitness! The coaches are very intelligent and encouraging and work with you to reach your goals. Dont be shy if youre not in great shape today, theyll get you to where you want to be.
Great community, great coaches. If your looking for a gym this is the place. Coaches scale workouts for you so you can get to the place you want to be without hurting yourself like all the stories you here about crossfit. If you are looking for life change give this place a try.
Final weigh in from the 6 week challenge is complete and I feel great! I wasnt sure if I would survive but I did. Now instead of asking my kids to get a pan from the lower cabinet for me...I just bust a squat to get it myself 😋. The exercises are addictive and fun. Great environment with Awesome coaches like Candi Hay to keep you encouraged. We you think youve had enough and just cant the others around you working out are also cheering you on 😘 and I thank you all for that! See you all in the box for a new way of living!
I can not recommend CrossFit Canton enough. In the short month I have been here, I have learned SO MUCH! I have lost weight and gained confidence. I have gotten stronger. I have had an individualized meal plan and a coach helping me every step of the way. Are you on the fence about exercise because you think CrossFit is intimidating? I was too!! And I was seriously out of shape. But they will help you through each workout, giving you modifications if you just can’t yet. And then, YOU WILL GET THERE AND BE SO PROUD OF ALL YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED! You will not regret giving it a try!
This is a great group of like minded folks who want to be the best version of themselves. Initially, I was concerned that I would not fit in but knew that I needed a gym and coaches to make the changes I wanted in my fitness. I am 60+ years old and this tribe of coaches and members have embraced me and cheered me on. This gym has been a ray of hope for a more fit future for me.
I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Crossfit Canton! Ive been going for six weeks now, a total beginner at the start, and the coaches are fantastic - they are professionally trained, all about safety, every movement and workout is scaled to suit the individual, and im still amazed at how much ive been able to improve and achieve so far! Its like my home from home now!
I have been going to this gym now for 5 years. Not a thing I would change about this establishment. We have the equipment, the coaches we do not deserve, and the assistance we require. I have never said anything but amazing things. Recommend to any athlete whether beginner or advanced/elite. Join us!
The coaches here are amazing! From the moment you walk in the door they are invested in you and the betterment of your life. Its not just about lifting heavy stuff its about building a better you physically, mentally and emotionally. They give you the tools you need to make your fitness goals a reality.
Great coaches and workouts. They really concentrate on form and your progress. Kevin is a rockstar! He was my 6:30 am coach and overall such an amazing trainer/person. He really does care about your well being. I also had Karen who has more energy than the energizer bunny and has a wonderful personality. Just in 6 weeks Im in the best shape of my life!
I have gained 10 pounds of muscle since joining CrossFit Canton and lost a significant amount of fat! I have only been here for 4 months and they have given me the best results out of any gym that I have been to! If you are thinking about joining a gym then look no further, this is the one! If you want results then go ahead and sign up here!
Did a little bit of the bootcamp here. Felt like the workouts were very short and that they were trying to sell things at every PT session. Dietician would promise to bring in recipes and then would not follow through or would ignore you when you asked for them again (unless of course you signed up for sessions with them). There was not much one on one and I felt very unsure of what I was doing (in the gym and at home). I did like Karen the trainer but again felt like they were more interested in me purchasing things (more PT sessions or more time with dietician, fundraisers every week, supplements etc). Not saying that it is not a good gym, there seem to be a lot of people who are very committed. It was a little to clickish for my taste. I felt like how I have felt with a few gyms in my life that if you are not one of them you are not really accepted.
Every day Ive been to CFC, I have learned something new about how the human body works. Its not just a place to workout....its a place to challenge yourself, meet new people, learn and build confidence. Everyone is kind and encouraging. Its an amazing community of individuals who are all in it together.
CrossFit Canton Gave helped me me my life back. They literally saved my life. When I walked through the door at age 62 in June 2016 I was pushing 400#s and couldnt even get off the floor without assistance/ I had high blood pressure and type two diabetes. I was missing out on life with my Family friends and especially my grandchildren. I used a cane for walking more than a block and my health was declining at an increasing rate. Everyone here, the coaches and athletes welcomed me into the family and not on negative comment was ever made. They Just encouraged me to be a better version of me, I got stronger, thinner and healthier, I was able to discontinue all my prescription medicines. The coaches taught me to eat healthy and the importance of proper food. I lost over 12 off my waist and close to 100#s of fat so far. I can run over a mile non stop and not only can I get off the floor, I can do burpees! Best of all I can run and play with my grandkids on the beach The coaches always stress safety and we receive constant instruction and review of how to perform moves properly/ One of the biggest differences here versus the average gym is the sense of family. Workouts are scheduled throughout the day, but most tend to go at the same time, so you get to know your fellow athletes and coach. If you miss more than one workout they will check on you. I go to the Masters class for older athletes and they have become some of my best friends. Was it easy? Of course not, you will sweat like never before,You will learn to push yourself way past what you thought you were capable of But we have a saying here- Easy doesnt change you! Crossfit works and CrossFit Canton is the best place to do it.

2020-03-17Ive been at Crossfit Canton for about 2 years. Its been a great experience as I really feel plugged in. The coaches are caring enough to help me to get a solid workout through clear direction and also helping me to adjust in ways to work through physical opportunities I have. The folks in the classes I attend are encouraging and caring, making it like family. I would definitely recommend my gym (8-). -Nick

2020-03-17Been at this gym for over 3 years and absolutely LOVE it. The coaches are very knowledgeable and make each person there feel like they count. Whether you know what you are doing or not (that was me when I started) they work with you individually until you are comfortable. This place is like ONE big family and I Love everyone there. 2018-07-20Just finished up the 6 week challenge at CFC. I’m down 2 sizes! I am SO happy I did it! All of the coaches are awesome at training and educating to make sure you are doing the workouts correctly, safely and to your best benefit. I love how every thing could be scaled to any level of fitness. It was exciting to see my progression over the six weeks! The accountability with my coach was a great motivator and made staying on track easier. Meal planning and prep became a habit that I will continue doing. CFC is a very welcoming and fun environment. I met some amazing people and did things I didn’t know was possible. I highly recommend walking through those doors, it’s life changing!

2019-06-26I just finished a 28 day challenge at CFC, and what a great experience it was! I had never done group exercise or classes before and was a little worried that I would not like it. Turns out that a group environment is what I need! The coaches there are great, I mainly worked with Lori and Juan and both do a very good job making sure you pushing you body but not hurting yourself in the process! I lost 22 pounds,(20 of that was fat) and feel great! I have a lot more control over bad eating habits and look forward to going to the gym, something that I have not experienced before! If your looking for a change in lifestyle or just wanting to be healthier I highly recommend just trying out one of the challenges that they put on, if you meet the targets you’ll be very happy with yourself and feel great! This gym has a welcoming feel!

2018-07-22Highly recommend checking out CrossFit Canton. Best decision I made!! I recently completed their 6 week challenge and loved it! The coaches are all very knowledgeable and work very closely with you whether you’re a beginner or experienced. No intimidation! It’s also very much a family environment. Everyone is super encouraging and eager to help you achieve your best results. The gym itself is super clean and conveniently located just off the interstate.

2020-03-27If you want to go to a GYM you truly feel like family CFC Strive Canton is the place you want to go. Love the coaches they have a love and compassion for each of their clients they motivate, encourage and inspire you! Even through the trying times we are in at the moment they are still there for everyone though videos and sending workouts you can do at home. They even went as far as to loan out their equipment!! Love this whole group of people!! 🏋️♀️💪👊

2018-04-25CrossFit Canton focuses its workouts on functional movements that seek to reflect gymnastics, weightlifting, rowing with an emphasis on power (work divided by time). This means that all the moves not only focus on strength or endurance, but also intensity (think the NFL combine metrics). I believe it is the theory behind building muscle, improving flexibility, and maximizing caloric burn.For me personally, I believe the program is a success. Previously as an athlete, these workouts exercised parts of my body that havent been used since competitive sport. Very different than what I can do on my own in the weight room or a body pump class at other gyms. All of the moves can be as hard you make them, with advancement or level-up opportunities. Whatever move you do there is something more to reach for as you progress with the skills and your fitness.The Canton facility is comfortably sized and well equipped with newer weights, bars, racks, etc. I personally met and worked with 5 different coaches and can honestly say, I enjoyed each of them. I liked being pushed to exertion and appreciate very much the support/motivation they offered. In addition to the coaches, the community at the gym is also extremely supportive and driving. This, along with the competition with others, definitely pushed me to work much harder than I ever could on my own. Im fairly introverted, but the incorporation to the group at CFC was very easy and natural.This is my first experience of this kind, but I can highly recommend CrossFit Canton to anyone considering a new workout regime.

2019-07-08I came across Canton Cross Fit on Facebook and thought I would give it a shot and I started the program the next week. I decided to do their 28 day program, and after it was over I had achieved my goal losing 4.7 percent of my body fat. Without the great help, advice, trainers, meal programs, and awesome workouts I couldn’t have achieved my goal. I truly loved the environment and the vibe of Cross Fit Canton, always feeling comfortable around every person in the gym. I especially loved the coaches who always guided me and helped me achieve my goals without ever making me feel judged or ashamed for doing something wrong. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to improve their over all health and well being.
