This was my first appointment at Sumrall Family Dental. The process was smooth and straight forward. My appointment was at 7:50am and even with the customary paperwork, it started on time! I received an exam and thorough cleaning. The staff was very courteous and kept me informed and explained everything I needed to get done. I had a wonderful experience.
Dr. Burleigh and his staff are the utmost professionals and I am very thankful for their service and attention to detail. The staff helped to ensure that a necessary procedure took place for my family member and they did it in a very caring, thorough and timely manner. Many thanks to your practice!

After my crown fell out. Upon calling Summerall Dentistry and explaining my situation. I was asked to come in to the office, her exact words were “go ahead and head this way we’ll get you in” but I may have to wait a little while. After arriving at the office I was treated and released within 30 min. Timely, efficient, courteous, and professional. Thanks for a memorable experience. This staff is Awesome!!
Went in because of pain in my gums. It was determined that my wisdom tooth was loosing bone and was causing the pain in my gums. The dentist pulled it the same day. The extraction was painless. I didn’t even know he had done it. I am 50 years old and that was the first time I had a tooth pulled as an adult. I highly recommend this dentist office.

Since I had a followup today, this is an update. Once again, the work by Dr Sumrall (Gran) and Diane Watson was very professional. They weee in time and everything is fine now. Also, the office staff was friendly (as usual) and checked me in and out very quickly.I appreciate them all so much. It just such a pleasue to be treated by professionals that take pride in what they do. Thanks.

I was super happy with my decision to go to this practice for my dental work. I had a front tooth that got broken in half from a trampoline, as a result had a root canal and the face was replaced artificially- it had a blue color to it after which ended up chipping some 20 years later. I called them on a Monday morning and I was in the chair by Wednesday afternoon. Not only was it a pleasant and short wait time, but they did work on me and I was able to leave that day with a temporary tooth that looked amazing!! All by lunch hour which is certainly beyond commendable. Cant say enough good things about this place and my experience with them! It’s very refreshing to say the least to have experiences like these that exceed any & all expectations.

Very Efficient with time management, my appointment started when scheduled with no gaps in service from that point forward. The dental procedures were explained as well as the charges for services provided. When compared to my previous dentist, the Procedure price’s are a bit on the high side. Overall, I had a good experience and would recommend Sumrall Family Dental.
I am so terrified of going to the dentist but let me tell everyone Melissa and Dr Graham know how to handle people that are afraid of the dentist they make you totally forget the reason why you are there. Very friendly and always professional. I have been going to Dr. Sumrall for about 40 years or more. Even when I lived in other states. I had many problems with my teeth until I started coming to Dr. Sumrall. He was very knowledgeable and always on top of the latest dental knowledgeable. When his son came into the practice I was glade to see the son was a good dentist and was extremely comaptant. We was a chip of the old block and following in his dads footsteps. He to stays on top of dental knowledge. God has bless them and I glad to put my dental care in there blessed hands. My mother had an abscess about the size of my fingernail. Dr. Sumrall sucked out the purulent and scrapped the bone to insure the area was clean. He gave her a prescription for an antibiotic and she didnt have any more problems. He did a GREAT job and is always friendly and personable.
I had a great experience today having 2 teeth filled. After spending a career in the Air Force and experiencing Air Force dentists, Dr. Sumrall was awesome. He was smooth on the anesthesic and worked quickly but painlessly. I totally recommend him!

One could not find more friendly and helpful staff. Dental services and skills are outstanding. Ive been here for 20+ years and could not recommend any other facility. All my needs have been met expertly. Procedures are explained in-depth and any alternate treatment plans will be discussed. Of interest to note is that all my emergent conditions were met same day if needed or within three days per your desire. This service is a true 5-star facility with outstanding dentists and staff.

I was visiting for 3 days & called 4 hours north of Bonaire in need of dental services & they were able to squeeze me in the same day. Dr. Gran did an amazing repair on my broken veneer. The staff is also amazing & made me feel very welcome, especially as a new patient and only in town for a few days. I would highly recommend them & if I lived here my family & I would certainly be seeing them again as regular patients.

I recently needed a tooth pulled and bone graft and I haaate the dentist and have had a lot of painful experiences. I’d also never had that procedure so had no idea what to expect which made the anxiety worse. The dental hygienist was super nice and talked me through the anxiety and explained everything so I wouldn’t be so nervous.I didn’t feel a thing and two days later the pain is minimal. I’m sooo glad I went to this practice!10/10 recommend.
I have been using this dental practice since the mid 90s. They have been exemplary in their work and the treatment of their patients. Their front desk staff tends to be very friendly and informative. My most recent visit was as pleasant as the rest. Ill continue to use them.

I have been a patient of Sumrall Family Dental for 35 years and have always had a positive experience. This year they helped me with an emergency when I had a broken filling. They took care of it and went above and beyond what I would have expected during these times. In my most recent cleaning experience Sonja did an excellent job. They really do make you feel like part of their family. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a local Dental company.
Doctor Burleigh and the dental technician were very kind and professional. They went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible. I would recommend Dr. Burleigh to anyone needing dental work. I needed a crown on a front tooth that I broke Sunday and the procedure was pain free.

I had one of my teeth extracted at Sumrall Family Dental, and to my surprise it was a painless and pleasant experience. It was my first time going to Sumrall dentistry. All of the staff was very courteous, polite.I will definitely be going back for any other future dental work that I might need. Best dentist office in middle GA, hands down. Staff are SUPER friendly. Doc Gran is very caring and fun to be around. Hes brilliant and super-talented. I have a ton of dental work done, and have NEVER felt any of the anesthesia shots. I dont know how he does it - its like magic - never feel a thing.Prices are fair, but I dont care. Id choose them no matter their fees. I simply cant recommend these folks any more highly! Never a bad experience. Never a long wait. I had not been to the dentist in a while, and i could not find an appointment so soon. My daughter called Sumrall dental and they opened a spot for me. I was glad couse im off work for a few days, and the staff are very nice and the dental assistant that cleaned my teeth was so nice, even the dentist was very honest about my dental work. Really loved the way they protect the patients during this time. Always love to have Dr Sumrall do my fillings and Sonja doing my cleaning. However, did they change the front desk person who initially said I can’t have my original schedule and changed it the last minute. She wasn’t as warm and welcoming as the former front desk person and it makes me sad and actually stressed. She looked tired and anxious as well....I am anyways so pleased with my treatment. Dr Sumrall made it painless let and less stressful than I already was with the scheduling miscommunication.

Although theirs is a busy practice, I was made to feel like I was their only patient. Mine is a complicated problem requiring extensive treatment, and Dr. Sumrall went to great lengths to explain my options. His staff is equally outstanding. I drive further than I need to just to go here. From the time you arrive at the front desk until you check out, the experience is very professional. I’ve had a couple emergencies and they always seem to fit me in. I’m so thankful for the entire staff because going to the dentist gives me anxiety already. The assistant in the room today I never seen before but she was great!

It is important that consumers are knowledagble and make wise choices regarding their health which is why I felt led to share my story. The true heroes in my saga are Dr. Sumrall and Elease Chambers.I first went to Austell Family Dental Care in October 2018 because we had just moved to the area and was in need of a new dentist. I knew I just needed my teeth cleaned since it had been about a year. There is absolutely no denying the friendliness of the staff which is why I believed the tech when she said I had to have a Gingival Irrigation prior to her cleaning my teeth due to gingivitis buildup and fully inflamed gums. That cost me $105.00 out of pocket with insurance picking up $50.00. I was then visited by the Dentist who told me I needed 3 crowns ($711 each), 3 core buildups for crowns ($170 each), and 7 resin composites ($99 each). Mind you, I have never had a days worth of dental trouble in my entire life, I am 49 years old. I had to go back in December to get my teeth cleaned and was again pestered about scheduling the dental work. I kept getting calls from the office to get the above work scheduled prior to the end of the year before my benefits renewed. My gut told me something was off so I called Delta Dental, my insurance company, who advised me to get a Pre-Treatment Estimate prior to having any work done and they informed me that my benefits were not calendar year but June to June. The total estimate was $6,370, $4,083 which would have been my responsibility. At the recommendation of my Aunt, I finally made the decision to go back to my hometown to and see a family dentist who is well established (30+years) to get a second opinion. Thanks goodness I did. All the above work was completely unnecessary. The only thing I need is a small cavity filled for $178, $68 my part. After doing much research, I found out that many of these box dental and eye clinics are able to open up without the stringent oversight and standards they were once held to. Dentists and Optometrists are graduating with a load of student loan debt and are required to make so much money each month to continue to operate. I dont know all the ins and outs but BEWARE! Stick to your family dentist of years past with a legitimate reputation built over many years in business. I would recommend Sumrall Family Dental for all your dental needs. As an added bonus, his office is a testimony for Christ!

Son had to have 2 teeth extracted. I specifically asked how much do I have to pay out of pocket for 2 teeth extraction without insurance I was told $185. On The day of the appointment I was told it was an estimate and it would $185 for each tooth. That was not what I was told over the phone. Then I was told it was an estimate. Totally disappointed they need to better their communication skills

Great office! I just switched from Dr. Marable in Fort Valley to Dr. Sumrall and I couldnt be more pleased with my first visit. Dr. Marable (who is a FANTASTIC dentist) has a very incompetent front staff, which is unfortunate because Dr. Marable was wonderful and I had been a patient there for many years. However, I couldnt continue to deal with the myriad of front office issues and had to find another office...stat! Even over the phone, the receptionist was super friendly when booking my first cleaning and collecting my insurance information and my actual experience was wonderful. I had a very knowledgeable and warm dental hygienist named Amy who i hope continues to be my hygienist because she was great. The office is extremely cozy too (the waiting room looks like a family den) and I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of a good office.

2022-06-02Sumrall Family Dental is the best dental care in America by far!I was extremely nervous on my first visit just thinking about the needles. Dr. Gran allowed me a few minutes to collect myself then he used a technique to administer the medication into my gums that I have never experienced before causing absolutely NO pain whatsoever. I was and still am very impressed with the way I was treated. Today was my fourth visit and I recommend this place to anyone that needs a dentist.I pray the Lord anoints Dr. Grans hand that he may continue to do great work in the community.

2022-02-16Went in for my extraction and abutment for a prosthetic tooth. Dr Sumrall Jr and his assistant, Diana were great through the whole experience. Dr Sumrall explained everything in great detail and the whole ordeal was painless so that made me happy. Ive been going to Dr Sumralls office for over 30 years and have always been happy with the care and attention we receive. I highly recommend them for your dental needs!

2022-01-14I absolutely love this dental practice. I am a super wimp and they are very accommodating and always put me at ease. When I have had dental emergencies, they have worked hard to squeeze me in very quickly, even though they are very busy. Very friendly and professional staff. I have not had any bad experiences.

2022-02-09Very kind and respectful staff—every single person I encountered. You are not rushed and they take the time to explain everything including various options for treatment. Very clean and comfortable environment. Adequate pain prevention for the root canal I received—I didn’t feel any pain during the procedure. Overall they provided good clinical care with equally good bedside manners and patient education. I would highly recommend.

The care they show, the quick response to random emergencies and the quality of their work is above and beyond. This is my forever home so long as I live in this city.

2022-05-03As always I had the best possible experience during my recent visit for a root canal. Diana greeted me and escorted me back to my chair within 5 minutes of my arrival. She was very pleasant and efficient getting me prepared for Dr. Gran. Once I was numbed the procedure was done efficiently and timely. Dr. Grans demeanor with me and Diana was friendly and reassuring. Honestly, if I had not been there, I would not have known that I had just had a root canal. I only took a couple of Ibuprofen tablets the rest of the day just in case there was any pain. The front desk was courteous and efficient as always on my way out. Dr. Sumrall is a dentists dentist, and with the addition of his son, Dr. Gran, he is carrying on the tradition of excellent family dental care. 2022-05-17Sumrall Family Dental has wonderful office staff who always take care of your needs. I had to have extensive work done and I was very nervous. I was shivering a little bit. Not only did they get me a blanket and make me comfortable, they explained what they were doing and Dr. Sumrall finished in record time with no pain. I couldnt believe it. I kept asking them if they were really finished. I LOVE the music they play in their office and I appreciate the kindness, the knowledge, the skill and the professionalism that they display.
