Decent enough to stay. The walls are rather thin between rooms, the outlets in the lights didnt appear to be standard sized so i had to use wall outlets for power. Bed was comfortable enough and the air conditioner worked to get the room really cold if thats your desire. If you dont need much this would perfectly acceptable.
I called to check on my reservation I made online. The lady who answered the phone was in a bad mood. I told her my name and she was basicly yelling at me telling me she didn’t see the reservation and treating me like I had done something wrong or been rude to her. After a few minutes the reservation appeared while we were on the phone. I had just made the reservation so it took time to appear.... something someone who works at a hotel should know all she had to do was ask did I just make the reservation if so it may take a few minutes to appear instead of yelling at me over the phone. She then asked did I want to cancel the reservation... why would I want to cancel it I just called and said I was checking on it??? Made me not even wanna go there she was very rude all they fare about is your money not you. It doesn’t even take much to treat your customers right and stay calm while your on the phone with them .
First night great room everything was good, then we had to check out and back in for next two nights and room had to be one of the worst in motel, toilet didnt flush right, sink faucets loose and moving around, fridge making so much noise it was hard to think of r rest, missing light bulbs for lights and shower head was bad and had to replace. As good as first night was the next two nights were that bad. Now staff friendly and courteous. But dont think I will stay there again.
The gentleman at checkin was polite. Good C/S should be a must but sadly now days owners n employees seem not to care that we keep them in business. Rooms pretty clean. Cleaner then some other motels just the little coffee maker wasnt to clean and the light of the hair Dyer was really bright not sure if it was suppose to be that way. Comfortable and peaceful. Just like other motels no ice no breakfast. Air conditioners filter not bad.
Actually clean. But they dont have comforters on the bed they only have the bed sheets the top sheet like a thin blanket and then a sheet on top of that and then you get two pillows. And in the bathroom they do give youthe rest of the tissue that was left over from the other rooms plus two new tissues. But very clean found no bugs found no dirt found no hair and Im very very picky.
Well, well, Wyndham, you have dissatisfied and disappointed me again! I will no longer stay at Wyndham hotels. They should take note from Hilton. Only this time I was discriminated against for what I can only assume would be for being a white woman by some foriegner Middle Eastern woman who I do not yet have a name for but I am sure I can get an attorney to find out for me. She refused my method of payment and told me it was not possible for me to pay her with anything other than credit (basically not debit, by the same method my husband paid for the night before) and just to make sure, had my husband check with then again about payment methods was told there were other forms including cash or debit which is how I intended to pay. But it looks like half the hotels owners live there possibly for free anyway?🤨
Positive: NOTHING!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Negative: This is a drug motel. It is nothing like the pictures. We were ate up by mosquitos while we slept. There were roaches crawling on the counters condoms in the parking lot. Meth heads partying all night. They charged me twice so I couldn¿t go elsewhere.
Disclaimer everyone has a different experience. Our experience was very poor. Our car broke down the day we were checking out we had only stayed one night. When we had made arrangements to have our car situation resolved, we went down stairs to see if we could pay for another night due to check out being at 11 and we’re from out of town and our car issue. They told us we could not stay another night. We had to leave at 11. We had our 1 year old and 7 year old daughters with us. We ended up having to walk our children in the freezing cold (same night it snowed) to another hotel and payed for a night their. We got to super 8 around 7 barely slept all night. We had a very rough experience.
Our family of 5 stayed here on our way to Florida. Very quiet location. Room was older but clean. Front desk gentlemen was amazing! Had an issue with an OTA, he fixed no questions asked. Comfy beds, good pillows, hot water and light breakfast. Was exactly what we were looking for. I would stay again if I was in the area.
NOT DOG FRIENDLY! Selected this hotel by filtering for a dog friendly hotel on the Wyndham App. I reviewed the hotel policy, attached, on dogs which was perfect for our 75lb boxer and we were very happy to pay a $10 dog fee for the overnight stay. I booked and prepaid for the room using the Wyndham app only to be denied the room when we arrived because we had a dog. I ask the attendant to at least refund my payment only to be told I had to call Wyndham customer service for the refund. I called Wyndham customer service for the refund and was transferred then hung up on. I called back and was told I would receive the refund. I m not so confident I actually will.
Now I know there are good and bad reviews - people can and DO have different experiences at the SAME place! The staff can have an off night, or maybe they are new. . . But MY experience with this hotel was wonderful. Details are below. After trying a few other hotels in the area, (BW, & Econo), we stumbled upon this place, and SO glad we did!!The rate was very decent. Checking in was quick, short, & painless. Brian, was , PLEASENT, WONDERFUL. FRIENDLY, and more than happy to answer any questions we had, and assist us with our stay. Brian told me upfront, that due to the COVID pandemic, they were NOT doing breakfast, which is understandable, (and most hotels have stopped breakfast during this virus). Brian told us in detail where our room was, and bid us a goodnight. Upon entering our room, I noticed, it was clean, but appeared to have everything needed. I had an issue working the direct tv, and the front office resolved it RIGHT AWAY. I also went to inquire about extra blankets, and they were VERY friendly about that as well. It was no longer Brian, but a young dark haired woman. SUPER SWEET!!! I went back to my room with the blankets. The mattresses werent brand new, and YES, I checked for bed bugs, (I always do), and found ZERO SIGN of them. 😁 I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the beds were!! The pillows and blanket as well!! I also want to mention the shower - HOT water, and awesome water pressure!!!Housekeeping ask if we wanted our room cleaned the next morning, but being we were staying 2 nights, we declined. The housekeeper was pleasant, and she smiled as well. Super friendly staff!!The 2nd night there, I needed a bulb replaced, and although I volunteered to go to the office and get a bulb, Brian insisted he bring it, so I wouldnt have to get out in the cold with my 2 year old grandson.👍On Sunday morning, we were loading up to check out by 11a.m. but, we felt no rush, even though we were out on time. We saw housekeeping again, and she wasnt trying to hang around to get in our room to clean, like some do, she smiled, and said good morning to me. I drive around front to hand my key cards in, and the guy there this time, was also just as pleasant as everyone else had been. I told him, my grandson had dropped some powered donuts on the floor, and the crumbled apart, into a mess, and Im so sorry, he just laughed waved his hand, and said dont worry about it.I didnt see filth or dirt in my room. Plenty of towels, washcloths, and hand towels, and tissue paper. Mini fridge was cleaned and worked properly, as did and was the microwave. In room coffee pot with coffee was there, although I didnt use it. The hair dryer worked great. The was an iron and ironing board in my room, I didnt use those either. I was able to park right in front of my door, which was a PLUS!!Dont overlook this place! Sure, its not Gramercy Park Hotel or The Roxy in New York, but its not dump, and again - PROPS to the staff that was there when we was!!!
We stayed here during a baseball tournament. The room was clean and very comfortable beds. It had everything you need with the mini fridge and microwave. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond for my son and I. We were traveling alone from Southern California and our first time in Georgia.
The front desk woman that checked me in was not very friendly and seemed bothered by me needing a room , they are not having the continental breakfast as advertised due to covid . the rooms are fairly nice looking however not overly clean the flooring definitely needs to have a heavy-duty clean done , linens were clean .
We would stay again however the freezer is dirty and keep in mind its concrete floor. Due to covid we didnt get to have the full experience with the breakfast and the pool or fitness room so we just layed in our rooms. The bathroom light n fan sounds horrible 😂 its a good laugh but its worth the stay for the price n its cleanliness and they are very sweet. I was expecting a rude employee because of the reviews but also you have to keep in mind everyone has bad days and more stressful days then others but they were sweet to us.
Not terrible, but definitely has some cleanliness issues. I cant believe the owner/manager has an understanding of what clean is. Bed was very comfortable with pillows I loved. Shower curtain had mold. At the breakfast area the containers for the plastic silverware were unbelievably dirty. The manager or owner must live like a slob. To bad, its on the edge of a great place if CLEAN.
Honestly the toilets sucked. I had 2 rooms both needed the plunger. They do not give you a blanket only 2 sheets and 2 pillows per queen size bed. The pillows wasnt big at all. Just enough for your head. The good things was the bed was comphy and the air conditioner worked great
This place the staff was extremely rude and no one wore masks in this day and time with covid-19 virus going around. I was very disappointed in the room it was not clean and on top of that they double-charged me. I made up. I had already made a reservation with Expedia through AARP. They still charged me an additional $75.79 for the room which I had already paid for.
On my way back home from a 36 hour, 1,700 mile drive, napping in the car wasnt cutting it and I made a last minute decision to get a room. I reserved the room using the Wyndham app and headed over to the motel. Checking in was quick and easy, though the lobby smelled of old stale smoke. I got to my room, which was fairly spacious, but had a similar old stale smoke odor that the lobby had. The bed had no dust cover / blanket... just a thin white blanket and sheets. Luckily they at least appeared to be clean. The bathroom is the reason for my one star rating. Nothing like spending 24 hours driving in a car and going to sit on a toilet only to find a couple drops of oily, dried urine and a short and curly pubic hair on the toilet seat. Luckily Ive been traveling long enough that Ive learned to bring baby wipes with me for such situations. The point is that when you pay for a room, even one youre only going to sleep in for 3 hours, you shouldnt have to clean the toilet seat before sitting on it. Without the urine and pube on the toilet seat Id give this place three stars, and without the stale smoke odor and a with a properly made bed Id go to four stars.
Just dont. Really dont. Its ridiculous how rude the night staff are, no breakfast, never changed anything out or asked if we needed it. They left the office as soon as we came to check out and didnt come back for almost 20 min. Room wasnt ready at check in. Its just not a good place to stat especially if you have kids.
We had a coupon that was in a motel coupon magazine that was offered in places next to Motel 8 and we decided to go there for the night; but since they were almost booked up they denied our coupon. What the heck! The coffee pot in the room was dirty Someone left icecream in the freezer of the refrigerator in the room, do they must not clean or check it. The bed was comfortable and clean as was the room. Why offer coupons if they refuse them. No stipulations was noted on the coupon. Was it to attract customers?
After a night in a terrible hotel, I was happy to have found Super 8! The manager worked with us on price for an extended stay...even with pets...and allowed me to look at the room before committing to stay. Guest rooms are VERY nice, clean, updated, and comfortable. Their complimentary breakfast is an actual breakfast of eggs, biscuits, gravy, and waffles, along with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and juice. Location is convenient to stores and restaurants. Hotel staff is helpful, professional, personable, and friendly. The housekeeper works extremely hard to make sure the rooms are satisfactory and we have everything we need. I was pleased with our stay and would recommend this hotel. We will most definitely stay here again!
A few days ago I had made reservations for my husband and I to stay on a weekly basis until my husband is done with work here in the area when I had called I had talked to a gentleman and I was assured that this was the cleanest hotel in the area so I booked my reservation for a week mind you we are coming from Kansas where we were in a super 8 for a week and it was a wonderful place it was clean and the staff was friendly. Here in Cartersville Georgia my husband and I been driving all night got here early this morning to check into our first room which was room one 112 which when we came in had roaches and a centipede I called to the front desk and was told to come back up and get the key for a room 120 well we never went in there because the curtains were closed and the AC was on so it was occupied went back up to the front desk was given room 108 roaches again so I went back up and they requested my refund and the lady told me that she was not able to give me a refund and that I would have to wait and talk to the people that come in in the morning mind you this was a $400 that they already took out of our account so I wanted to get to the bottom of this and I waited there and slept in my car there to talk to the manager in the morning which the lady that came in was very rude but did give me my money back I will never be staying there because I hate bugs and we are not going to pay $400 a week to stay with bugs or rudeiness so dont stay here only this will post is I touch a star. But not even that is worth it
This is the NASTIEST hotel/motel Ive ever stayed in.. Days before check in I was told that the pool would be open on my check in on the 28th. Upon my arrival the pool was covered and close for the year. Once I checked in with my 5 year old daughter who is chronic asthmatic. After getting past the guy walking around without a shirt smoking weed. I entered my room and the first thing I noticed is the SMELL... The room smell like a 3 day smoke festive. The microwave was old, burnt and dinghy. The refrigerator was old, dirty and had black spots around the seal on the inside. This room was so bad I had to send my daughter out onto the balcony because she couldnt stop coughing. Just from her being in this filthy room for less than 5 min. The sofa sleeper was so dirty and was full of old stains. I turned on the ac to air it out but the smell was still in the air. THIS HOTEL IS GROSS... DO NOT CHECK INTO THIS TRASH CAN.. YOU ARE BETTER OFF SLEEPING IN YOUR CAR.... YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!
Horrible place to stay at... do not even think about it. Paying more is 100% worth it. Terrible rooms with bed bugs, sheets with cigarette burns and blood stains, and to top it off the owners are just the shadiest and worst people. I don’t know how they haven’t been shut down yet. Dirty, infested rooms that do not have one semi new amenity. Did I mention the bed bugs??? Stay away
Older hotel, but kept up. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfy. Pillows are skimpy, but clean. Only give you two towels and in our room the towel rack next to the vanity sink fell off when I pulled the hand towel off, guess they will fix it while we are gone at work...will see. Shower water pressure is assume. Room for a day cab truck & trailer...maybe three tops. Over all a comfortable place to stay when work brings you to town. Dont expect a Hyatt Regency for the price and you wont be disappointed. Oh yeah, the microwave and fridge worked well too!
Everything was great for the most part. We stopped on the way home to get a nap, and woke up for breakfast the next morning. The room was okay for the most part. The lamp shade was falling apart and looked like it had been burnt at some point, with some of the trimming falling off. The beds were okay, but the pillows werent the best. The shower is going if you arent a jolly green giant like myself or my dad, where you have a difficult time washing your hair.Breakfast was okay, nothing special but it wasnt awful either.
It was clean but the overnight staff seemed under trained and unsure of how to do her job. Also a large party was going on the other side of the hotel and several patrons were complaining whilst i was checked in. Also the cleaning lady busted in out room early in the morning without knocking. But it was a clean room....
Bad communication between employees regarding what our check in and check out times were . They wanted to make us leave 2 hours early when before paying confirm 3 different times on when our OK check out time was. They let us stay after we spoke to them again about our check out time but it spoiled the rest of our trip. On top of that our first room provided was in a joint room were we overhead drug deals taking place.
Checkin was great, however housekeeping is bad, room seemed fairly clean big and upkept, however no toilet paper and its a double roll holder so how long has it been since checked, shows they take shortcuts in there work, hope the sheets are changed every day. Housekeeping chased us out at 9:30 am started knocking than after we replied we would be leaving she opened the door and started coming in. At 9:30am!Breakfast is a joke, dont rely on this in your choice, terrible coffee, 5 yogurts, cold cereal in a dispenser, fake orange juice/apple juice and a waffle making machine.
The place wasnt all bad but thanks to the front desk not calling to see if I was in my room at 4am my door gets busted in by 4 elderly ladies. They get to come into a room with an Armed butt naked white man growling at them per their own words. Thankfully this didnt lead too something worse than an embarrassing and scary incident. On a side note all the rooms smell like smoke and arent very clean.
This place surprised me. We were running from Hurricane Irma and got the last room they had. Front desk (Brian) was very friendly and accomadating. Room was GREAT. 2 large beds, microwave, fridge, and large flat screen tv. My boyfriend left his mug outside the car accidentally and housekeeping returned. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would totally recommend this place.
After a 12 hour day of driving, we pulled into this Super 8. I travel a lot for buisness, and stay at many cheaper hotel/motel chains. I was extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. There was cigarette ash on the carpet, dirt and hair in the tub, and the pillowcase had makeup stains as if it hadnt been washed. I was too exhausted to complain- which is my fault. At 2 AM, someone starts BANGING on our door. We jump out of bed and put on a robe and try to answer as quickly as possible, but by the time we do, they are gone. I was so creeped out and had a very hard time falling back to sleep. In the morning while checking out, I mentioned my experinces to the front desk and the manager staying there. Neither said anything and handed me my copy of my receipt. I do not recommend this hotel because of my experience.
Well this hotel is privately owned and operated under the Super 8 brand. The dark haired clerk/Mngr Shamal (I think) was nasty rude toned with a undermining attitude. The non-smoking room was obviously smoked in and on my last day I saw a roach critter moving about. The tubs are boot walked in, and the shower water pressure was minimal. At best I give it a D
Stayed for a basketball tornament and our team was highly dissatisfied. One of the players rooms had cockraches in it. Another had, what seemed to be, dead fruit flies in the sink. There was a weird odor in the bathroom showers and another rooms window had a giant hole in it covered up with tape. (As if thats going to fix it)But even if you dont end up staying there after all that, they wont refund you back your money so dont even bother considering this place.(p.s. the beds are the only comfortable thing about the place. The rest is just sketchy)
If l could put no stars l would. No towels or toilet paper in bathroom. At breakfast the front desk person was putting away the juice and the coffee as we were fixing our plates. She never asked if we wanted anything else before she did. Please if you see this motel keep going. Always liked Super 8 but this place was terrible.
I love this place! Staff was beyond friendly, rooms were always nice and clean, and they dont allow riff Raff to check out rooms. I never worried about anyone messing with my work truck or hookers/methheads knocking on my door in the middle of the night. If Im working within 30 minutes of Cartersville this is where I am staying everytime!
Very rude and unprofessional management!!! The night shift worker (Braliy) gave someone with no permission from me nor proof of who the person was a key to my room... My rental car, cash, credit cards, Ids and work badge was stolen... They wont reimburse me my money Nd want me to pay to continue to stay until they can sort the matter with corporate... My room was half cleaned ac unit didnt work. Tolite stop working i opan the top to put water to help flush,, when i opened the top bowl a bloody pad was found in the bowl part of toilet...
I checked in 9/20 within 2 hours i woke up itching and turned on the lights and saw huge bed bugs on the sheets. I had 4 bites on my body they hurt and itch and i checked out requesting a refund and didnt get one. BEWARE owner is rude he didnt care. Im posting to hopefully prevent you from going there. This place has cockroaches and bedbugs! Yuck
Would not book. Walked in Not busy girl didnt even look up say hello nothing. So I stood there and stood there. I cleared my throat to get her attention ( she was texting ) she looked up at me and said nothing. By then I was ready to leave so I Did. Folks you need nicer people at your Front Desk.
TERRIBLE, I booked for a week. The very next morning they were kicking us out because of FAKE complaints. I was working all night 10pm-7am. They woke me up telling me I had to leave and didnt give my money back!!! I had to make 2 trips to the car and they stole some of my expensive belongings!! Ill never stay here again!!!
Breakfast was served 7-9 and we got ro the lobby at 8:30 and everything was gone and they would not refill anything and there would have been eggs, gravy, biscuts etc but would re cook anything with a line of people coming in. I say thats not free breakfast like they say an poor costumer seevice.

2022-07-11The room was very nice and clean. Our king size bed was very comfortable. We had a desk with a desk chair, a chair with a foot rest that were very clean. We took a full size blow up mattress for my son that fit fine in the room. Everyone was very nice and greeted you with a smile.Loved the salt water pool and loved that you didnt come out smelling like chlorine. Makes for a better tan❤️ It was clean and water was clear! It was closed for a short time due to low chemicals. Plus it had rain a lot the night before. As a pool owner myself the chemicals need to be right so you dont not have any skin or eye irritation. It was open in no time.Breakfast was a choice of Nutri bars, muffins, or a sausage sandwich. They had the decaffeinated, regular coffee, sugar and creamer. I took my own tea bags and they had a cafe that had hot water. They have a washer and dryer. That we used to wash my sons basketball uniform. I was prepared with some laundry soap and my quarters. They had an ice machine their for you needs. Their was plenty of parking spaces. The bathroom and the counter space were all good. Walls are thick that you dont hear the other guest. That is a plus for me that Im a light sleeper.Restaurants are close by to order in or dine in. I will definitely stay there again.

2022-02-12Very nice room….. Very clean room. Shower has amazing pressure. Nice little area of town right next to food truck park. They do not have breakfast as they advertised. There is nothing.

2022-02-22Exceeded expectations for the price. But no breakfast! Breakfast was advertised on kayak and that was incorrect. Otherwise, the room was fully equipped with a large smart TV, fridge, microwave, iron, soap & shower supplies, comfy bed, couch, and coffee machine. And lets not forget clean 👌 Close to the highway and restaurants. All around a good stay.👍if helpful, thx!

2022-06-16The hotel was quiet and rooms were comfortable. The rooms were clean and smelled good. The staff was friendly and humorous. The water pressure was the absolute best of any hotel we have ever stayed in.

2022-03-15I came in kinda late around 1030pm and the front desk guy was an absolute sweetheart!! The reservation wasnt popping up right away and he told me everything that was wrong and walked me through it all and just had a conversation with me the whole time I was waiting! Has great wifi qnd and decent beds I had a heavenly sleep last night!! I will say sadly people destroyed the picture that was above the bed by writing all over it which was sad to see and the bathroom light was super dim. Tv worked great and had alot of good channels too!! Room was very spacious as well! Overall a nice stay!!

2022-05-16Room had a roach problem and the guy at the desk wouldnt listen when told about it. The cleaning guy kept trying to barge into our room 2 hours before checkout after being told we werent ready. I wasnt impressed.

2022-02-02I booked this place online for two reasons: their fitness room and their breakfast. When I arrived I was told they had NO breakfast and NO fitness room....because of covid. Its 2022 in Georgia. Theres no fitness center or restaurant not open out of concern for covid. Reading the reviews I see they also make a pet friendly claim that isnt true. I was told the owners are aware of all the bogus claims but they dont bother to change the online description.Despite this, 3 stars because the staff was friendly, the room was large, very clean and comfortable.

2021-11-282 ⭐️⭐️, only because 1. We needed and achieved a restful nights sleep before getting back on the road. 2. The man that checked us in was kind. If we had more time & higher expectations, this would indeed, be 1 ⭐️.Caution:My google search had 1 filter: pet friendly. I did the online registration on our way to the hotel. Once checking in, the man on duty, asked if we had a pet. I said, yes, a cat. He told us that it’s a mistake online, the hotel isn’t pet-friendly after all. We left the cat in our SUV. She was comfy with her box, scratch pad, food/h20.The room smelled like dirty feet. There were 2 TV’s. None worked. We saw no bugs, as we fell into a deep sleep upon arrival, 12:30. After morning showers, we saw a bug climbing up the wall. There were coffee packets. But, no coffee maker. My husband said the water was like warm for his shower. My shower did have hot water after his. No idea why.
