We have been with Swim Kids for years and I cannot say enough great things! If you are looking for a place for your child to learn how to swim...this is the place. I have two young children and both learned in weeks how to swim, float, and survive at a very young age. Our 5 year old is swimming laps and our 3 year old is swimming and floating. The coaches at Swim Kids personalize the coaching as every kid is different and responds differently. They do an amazing job and I highly recommend to all parents!!
Absolutely amazed with swim kids of Georgia. My 3 year old has had no experience in the pool. Needing swim lessons. She was scared. Afraid. Screamed and cried. Now she’s comfortable in the water, swimming under the water and holding her breath. Learning to float on her back. Tells me now her favorite part is going under! Nadine and Michelle are awesome! They’re very patient with her. Calming for her. We will most definitely continue our swim lessons.
I was dreading taking my 2 and 4 year old to lessons 3 days a week as it seemed like it would be a chore, but now we all look forward to it! The first few lessons, my babies were scared to even get their heads under water. There was some crying. But miraculously, Kierston and Presley have given them confidence and the joy of swimming! Now they ask every day if they are going to swim class. I will feel like Im saying goodbye to family when we finish our survival lessons and will definitely return for more advanced lessons. Everyone there has been so kind and accommodating to me and my tiny humans! And the progress theyve made in 6 weeks has made me so proud. Thank you SwimKids! I also love that the lessons are indoor and available year round!
We have had a great experience with our 3 year old learning to swim. The first few lessons were tough but the instructors are really good. Nadyne is has a no-nonsense style but it works with kids and they do listen to her instruction. Jeff and Sarah are also instructors and are in the pool during the lesson (so 3 instructors to 1 child) and and they are very encouraging and good at showing my child what is expected of them. We are in in for 6 weeks of daily lessons. By the end of week 2, my child was swimming.
I cannot say enough great things about Swim Kids of Georgia. My boys (ages 2 & 4) started the swim float swim lessons with Kierston and my oldest son was swimming and graduated within 3 weeks! My two year old was very unsure in the beginning, but now is excited when it is his turn to swim. He currently has two weeks left of the lessons. Kierston has been so patient, gentle, and kind with my boys and made them comfortable in the water. I would 100% recommend Swim Kids of Georgia (and Ms. Kierston)!
My in laws live on the lake and my brother has an in ground pool. I’m sure I don’t have to explain my fear of having a 3 year old around water. I had looked in to these programs and had some people tell me not to do it because they throw your kid into the pool and it makes them afraid of water. This could not be further from the truth. ...at least at SwimKids. Kierston was amazing and my child adores her! My kid, of course, was the one that did not progress as quickly. But she was patient, kind, thought outside the box to get him where he needed to be. Now I can confidently say that my 3 year old can swim. And I should say, he just turned 3 last week. He knows what to do if he finds himself in water without someone right next to him. He knows how to swim, turn himself onto his back so he can breathe, and knows how to determine what direction he needs to go to get to safety. It is so important for these littles and I will be much less anxious when we are near water!
We have had the most wonderful experience at Swim Kids! Kierston has worked with our two year old son for the last several weeks and I can’t even believe the progress he has made! We started the summer with no swimming skills and now I truly feel confident that if Jack fell in a pool he would know exactly what to do to stay safe - which is an invaluable feeling as a parent. He’s also having so much fun learning how to actually swim! All of this is due to Kierston’s patience and encouragement with Jack. Even when he would get frustrated or scared to do something, Kierston always knew how to redirect him in the sweetest way to get him to participate. I will be forever grateful for the skills she has taught our son!
SwimKids of Georgia has literally taken our son, who took years of lessons elsewhere with different instructors, and actually taught him how to swim in 6 weeks! Their consistency and intricate knowledge of even specific body placement along with their amazingly encouraging and positive attitudes have proven to this Mommy that they deliver on their promises! Ms. Kierston and I talked a long time before we started at what he had been through at the other places and how he needed only one instructor to be his cheerleader and thats what he got every week with her! But not only that...he actually transitioned to learning how to be more confident with a Ms. Presley so he can go into the stroke school. Ms. Tracy is great too and shes only swam with him once! You seriously need to consider this if you are looking for a caring, loving environment where all of the instructors and staff look out for your kids best interest and they will teach your little one that they can do it too! HIGHLY recommend Ms. Kierston, Ms. Presley and Ms. Tracy! Tell them about your childs personality and they will tell you which one of them will be best for each of you!
My five year old learned how to fully swim in 3-4 weeks. The instructors were awesome and the facility is nice and well kept. I’m happy to spend my money with them because my child always gets the best!! This program is so worth it and we would do it again and again. No complaints!
I could honestly write you a book about all the things we love about Swim Kids. From the moment you walk in the door you’re family and treated as such. They greet us by name every time and that’s just so sweet to me. My 2 year old went from being a nervous nelly around the pool/lake to a water bug within weeks. Kierston has showed so much patience and love towards him and I am so thankful for her and everyone at Swim Kids. We were skeptical at first but trusted the process and I’m telling you it was worth every single penny. I could go on and on but just do yourself a favor and RUNNN don’t walk and sign up today!! You. Will. Not. Regret. It. 😊
SwimKids is absolutely unique swimming school that teaches pretty much all ages to swim and survive in the water. Nadyne’s success results are 100%. She taught both my kids, and they are now two amazing little swimmers. Highly recommend this place to anyone who cares about their kids’ safety and essential skill of swimming.
Fantastic! We enrolled our Daughter at 18 month old she is now 4 and has a great safe swim! She loves swimming there with her friends in the groups to this day.We then also enrolled our 6 month old twins and at 16months they know how to buy me sometimes should we ever need it! and they can swim great!!The instructors Mariann and Nadyne have been wonderful teachers to our kids they had very successful results!
This place is amazing. My 3 year old leaned how to swim after spending 3 weeks with them taking lessons 3 times a week. The condensed lessons make it a little pricey but you pay the same amount you would in other places over a few months but you are getting great results in weeks here in SKG.
My daughter (3.5) and son (22months) have been going to SwimKids since April. I had tried various other schools and self teaching my oldest to no avail. I am a true believer in the SwimKids program. The course is designed to give children the tools to survive should a water incident occur. And Nadyne is amazing. My daughter screamed through four weeks of sessions....I will honestly say it was a bit nerve wrecking as a parent...but I trust Nadyne and her expertise and I am truly a believer. If you saw my daughter today, youd never believe she had been tough to teach. She is a fish in the water and moving up the groups classes available. She is confident, strong, and capable in the water. I am so glad I stuck it out because I am confident in the process. My son was less difficult to teach and even though he isnt even two, I am comfortable being in the pool with him without floatation devices. He is also confident and playful in the pool.I cant speak highly enough about SwimKids and I am thankful we found them to help bring peace of mind in the water!
We started of our 6 year old and 4 year old in Swim kids of Georgia. The teachers did a very good and both my kids learned swimming. Now they are continuing in the stroke classes. I would recommend Swim kids of Georgia. I am very happy with their work and i cant wait for my girls to become great swimmers.
We love Swim Kids! We tried so many swim programs; none worked for our children. Then we asked a close friend who her child learned from (she was a fish!). She recommended us to Swim Kids. We immediately entered both of our children (18months and 3 years). They have been through boot camp and continue to take lessons to this day and LOVE IT. We love Nadyne and her staff, and we now feel safe with our kids in and around the water. We recommend Swim Kids to everyone.
Wouldnt trust my kids with anyone else! Nadynes compassion and patience with the children she teaches is amazing. She has taught both my boys this life saving technique and we can go to the pool, beach or lake with peace of mind. Swimkids is the best and Nadyne and her staff are remarkable. :)
Swim kids has taught both of my children to swim by two years old. We live on the lake and have a pool and it means the world to us that our children can enjoy the water. Not only do our children swim, they swim well. We have been their since my oldest was 8 months olds and now we go once a week to maintain their form and learn new strokes. We believe in the program and love to see our children learning.
My son (4) had been to 2 other swim schools and could not swim. I finally found Swimkids and within the first few minutes saw a difference. Nadyne made my son feel accomplished, treated him like a person and reinforced only his positive behavior. Within 3 weeks we were done with the Swim Float Swim sequence and joined in with a 4 year old swim group. My kid love to go to Swimkids. Thank you Nadyne and team for a fantastic opportunity and for saving yet another life!
Nadyne and her staff are delightful, and you wont find a more qualified instructor to teach your little ones lifesaving skills. Seeing the infants in the water during class is simply amazing. If your kids will be around water at all this summer, you owe it to your piece of mind to enroll them in this program.
We enrolled our older son into the Swimkids of GA program when he was 10 months old. He quickly learned the survival skills which was most important and valuable! The owner/instructor is not only highly professional but also a caring person who is focused on the most important - teaching our kids to survive in the water.During fallowing months, our son completed the Float-Swim-Float program which enriched him with another important skill.Nowadays he is enjoying a group class involiving not only a practice of the valuble skills but also fun with other kids and parents in the water. Our youngest son is six months old and we will definitely be enrolling him soon as well.We cannot be happier with the school and the staff!
We tried other places and my child was not progressing. We came to swim kids of ga and now my child is swimming the length of the pool in just 3 short weeks! Nadine has a method that works! She teaches water safety first and foremost!! We couldnt be happier with the results!! I highly recommend!!!
I cannot say enough about Ms. Nadiene and her Team! She is a true blessing and she is the best at what she does. My husband and I bought a house with a pool in January of this year. Even though the pool is enclosed with a fence, I was worried. My pediatrician agreed that we needed to get swimming lessons for our two younger children. Not just regular lessons, but survival lessons due to the amount of pool related deaths each year. She recommended Nadiene; as she is the one that taught her children how to swim. Both of my boys, 2 and 4, were able to swim in a matter of weeks and learned the tools that they needed in case of an emergency. The true test was when our 2 year old fell into the pool fully clothed while my husband had turned his back to work in the garden. He fell in head first and was able to float to the top of the surface (starfish style) and cry. My husband watched the whole thing happen and waited a second before grabbing him to see if he could put his newly learned skills to work! It does work! My 4 year old is now swimming on a swim team at Swim Kids - only 3 months after he learned the survival skills! We are truly grateful we found Mrs. Nadiene and her Company! It has given us such peace of mind!
My 7 year old son was scared of putting his face in the water which resulted in failed swimming lessons at several places. After a lot of contemplation and recommendation from friends, I have enrolled him at Swim-Kids for a 12 class private sessions. The first week was great when coach Nathaniel made sure his fear or water was gone in the first 15 mins. However, as we kept going on for the following sessions, we have been made to wait for anything between 5-20 mins for a 20 mins class due to the kids from previous classes not showing up on time. That isnt the issue even ! When I raised this issue at the front desk, they would blatantly deny such delays and refuse to own up the issues. She would even go up to saying that such delays are normal and part of how the system works. All this after paying a hefty $680 for 12 sessions - all I expect was some kind of professionalism.I somehow managed to sail through the 12 sessions - which seemed more like 12 days of waiting in their corridor. I am happy with what my son learnt from these sessions and his attitude towards water. However, this is not a place I would send my son back for continuous lessons.I hope they pull their act together and show some respect to others time!
I am absolutely amazed with what my 3 and 2 year old sons have learned in the Swim-Float Survive program! We had tried other swim programs in the past and not had near the results we are seeing with Swim Kids. Nadyne worked wonders with both of my children in developing their skills, confidence, and willingness. I would recommend Swim Kids to anyone and look forward to continuing in the swim program.
I highly recommend Swim Kids of Georgia. Our 2-year old was taking swimming lessons at Goldfish Swim School for about 8 months. After getting nowhere we switched to Swim Kids of Georgia and now our 2.5 year old is a wonderful swimmer and loves swimming. There’s a huge difference in methodologies and approach between the schools. The difference in our instructors was vastly different as well (I’m talking about an instructor who follows steps from a laminated paper vs an instructor who has dedicated her life to teaching infants/toddlers aquatic survival). We actually saved money at Swim Kids due to the shortened length of time it took our daughter to learn how to swim and float. It’s just unfortunate we had to waste time and money at the other school first and then spend some additional time training out the bad habits from the first school. Just save yourself some time, money, and heartache and start with Swim Kids. The best part is your child gets to test out of the class by self-rescue him/herself with clothes on… an accomplishment I don’t believe our child would have gotten to experience elsewhere.
We love SwimKids and highly recommend it for all parents! Our daughter started infant survival swim lessons with Nadyne and team when she was only 6 months old, and within three weeks, she was already a great floater. A year later, she started her Swim Float Survive class and just graduated with flying colors! Knowing that she can swim, turn to a float when needed, and get to the side of the pool and pull herself out so confidently at such a young age makes us feel so much safer around water. The skills that she has learned during these lessons will benefit her for her entire life, and its great that she will never be reliant upon puddle jumpers or other similar life jackets that can create a false sense of security for a child. If swim lessons are something that youve been thinking about but havent committed to, we highly encourage you to sign up and get started immediately!
The Swim kids of Georgia owner and instructor is horrible and my daughter used to cry and scared to learn from her but there are couple of other instructors good. Administrative staff and management are not customer friendly at all and worst experience. I wouldnt recommend this place at all.
Our daughter has been in classes at SwimKids for the past 15 months and we couldnt be more pleased with her progress. Since she completed her infant survival course (around 18 months old) she has been enjoying weekly group swims for fun, and I have to drag her out of the pool when she is done. She genuinely loves it, and we are left with the peace of mind that she has a healthy respect for the water while still being able to be a kid. She loves Mariann (always thinking she sees her when we are out and about), and Nadyne as well. Both have been fantastic teachers for her through this process.Being a family who enjoys lake living, boating, beaches and pools - this has a worthwhile, irreplaceable investment for me. Recommend SwimKids of Georgia highly!
My son (16 months) learned how to swim in a month (with twice a day lessons)!!! Just in time for the summer swim season. He can now swim without floaties and can survive by floating in the water if (god forbid) he ever fell into the pool fully clothed.Nadyne and her staff are great. The pool facility is new and clean. And it is not overly crowded with kids and people since it is a private pool.If youre looking to really get your child to swim without you always holding on to him/her or if you are not satisfied with mommy and me swim classes where he/she clings to you the entire time, this is the program for you. Ill be honest though, it does take a bit of tough love - the first few lessons are tough to watch as a parent (your child is in a new environment with a stranger who is making him/her get into the water...something that he/she probably doesnt want to do...)...but in the end, it is WORTH IT because your child will be learning life-saving skills.
I have 3 boys all 2 yrs apart not being able to swim was not an option for my boys. They all started at 18mths with infant survival swim lessons. This wasnt enough even with refreshers they needed to move on to the next level. This is why I LOVE SwimKids. They take infant survival lessons to the next step - swimming stroke! By 3yrs old my oldest was doing stroke. We tried the lessons at the gyms all taught by teenagers - NOT for us. Waste of time and $$. Swim Kids is worth the investment you will see great results. We love Nadyne and Marianne!
As a child I was always told I was a “fish”. I loved the water, and many of my favorite childhood memories include swimming. I always thought I would have kids and just assumed that they would love the water as well. While on a family vacation during college I was lying by the pool and I saw these two very young children swimming. This was not your typical 2 and 4 year old playing in the pool; they were actually “swimming”. This fascinated me so I had to ask how they were so young and swimming without your typical floaties or life vest. I was told about a program very similar to Infant Aquatics/Swim Kids. Years later when I became pregnant with our son I knew I had to enroll him in this type of swim lesson as soon as I could. At the age of 8 months Wyatt began lessons with Nadyne at Infant Aquatics Survival. He was very stubborn and didn’t want to do as Ms. Nadyne asked but she was persistent with him. After many weeks of hard work for him, and for her; he had his swim-float-swim down. We continued with lessons, advancing through the program for the next several years and he loves to swim. Don’t let me fool you by thinking I don’t get in the water or watch him constantly while we are around any body of water; but I had and still have full confidence that Wyatt would know what to do if he ever was in a life threatening water situation. We now have a 9 month old daughter who is taking lessons! We are looking forwards to her swimming next summer! Thank you Nadyne for all of your consistency and persistence; you are amazing! Nadyne is the best in the business. She taught all three of my girls to swim when they were barely walking and they have continued swimming (2 competitively) into their middle school years. It is so nice to have kids that are active and busy with a sport they love!Nadyne not only teaches water safety, she blesses these children with her passion for the sport while she encourages kids to embrace a healthy lifestyle. We are thankful everyday for the skills that Nadyne taught our kids and what seemed like a big investment when they were small is now something I cant believe we almost missed out on. Go with Nadyne and any instructor that she stands behind - you will never regret investing the time or money into your childs future wellbeing.

2021-12-12Having tried other swim schools in the area without much success, we were hesitant to try ANOTHER place. The reviews say it all- this place is a gem! Ms. Kiersten was the absolute best. My child went from wanting to stay on the stairs and not go underwater to fully submerging her face and swimming 10+ feet within weeks! The continual classes have been wonderful, and my child shows improvement after each class. 10000% recommend!!

2022-05-05Reviews are great so we were very interested in getting our daughter registered for lessons here, but it seems to be poorly managed. The schedule for the next month wasnt out yet to register so I called. They kept telling me they were about to make it & would call me when they did. I called another time & they said they already had me on a waiting list but didnt have a schedule yet. I never got another call & ended up doing something else. But after filling out all of the information online & talking to someone there at least 3 times, it seems like we wouldve been able to register.

2021-05-03Swimming lessons for my 2 daughters (3 and 7) has been great. About 7 months ago, my kids were very scared to go near a pool, but now they’re very eager to go for their weekly lessons. They just love their swimming instructors also. The adult lessons at SwimKids also help adult beginners become more confident in the pool.

2021-08-31My son started going to Swim Kids a year back when he was 3 years old and his progress over the year has been amazing. They started with teaching him survival skills and he picked it up fast. He progressed to the transition class and now he swims the length of the pool back and forth for about half hour. Its helping him improve his skills and build his stamina. The coaches are really dedicated and caring and gives personal attention to kids. Would recommend Swimkids anyday

2021-08-23This place is the BEST swim school anywhere around. Coach DEBBIE is the BEST instructor there ever was!! Coach Nas is really, really, really great too!! LOVE THEM! I drive 30 mins each way because they are so good and my kids learn so fast and have fun doing it. My kids were at Goldfish for a year and and Debbie taught them more in 3 sessions then we did that entire year! I HIGHLY recommend skipping all the other local schools and just go strait to SwimKids, its totally worth it!

2021-06-30I started my daughter in the Little Splashers class around 6-months-old, and now, months later, she is still thoroughly enjoying it. LS is a fun thing for us to do together on Saturday mornings while she learns to be comfortable in the water. No doubt, setting her up for success with the next stage of lessons. Both of the Saturday instructors are fantastic. They’re fun, supportive, and my daughter enjoys the interaction.
