We always have great service from the bar ladies. Great beer selection, and I like how they highlight a different brewery (generally local and/or craft brewery) every month. We love the burgers - I like the Silver Comet burger with pickled jalapenos instead of fresh and my husband likes The Fox burger...of course with tots!
Ive been to this location 4 times in a span of 6 months. The service is hit or miss depending on the day. I have had great wait staff that fixed incorrect orders, staff that I did not see for 30 minutes at a time (we were there for about 3.5 hours - not by choice), and staff that was on par with average. The beers on tap are hit or miss, sometimes they have them, sometimes not. The food is great when it comes out, but it could take anywhere from 10 minutes to 3 hours to arrive at your table.Overall a decent restaurant that I will go to again. If you do go, just keep in mind that you may be waiting a while for your food/service.
Ive been to the Taco Mac Cumberland several times to dine in and pick-up. All my experiences have been great! They have the best wet lemon pepper wings. The staff is friendly and engaging with the customers. Okay, while doing this review Im now craving those wings, lol.
My friend and I came here for a quick meetup on 4/23/2022. We were told it was a 35 minutes wait, which we was fine with. About 10 minutes later, people were being seated that came after us without reservations or being placed on the waitlist. We raised the issue respectfully, but wasn’t too concerned because we had approximately 5 minutes left to be seated. We were seated and a waitress came and greeted us immediately taking our drink and appetizer order. The service was great, but the food quality was a nightmare from hell. Our mozzarella sticks were burned, spinach dip wasn’t cooked properly, chips for the dip was stale. The mozzarella sticks were sent back and returned of better quality. We ordered wings. The wings was room temperature warm. My wings did not have the correct flavor. At this point, we reached our limit of patience. My friend requested a manager. The manager was very apologetic and explained the lack of service was because of the lack of staff. We were very empathetic and emphasized again that our complaints was for the lack of food quality and not service. The food that we sent back was not on our bill. Two stars for the manager and our waitress.
Single ladies...this is a great spot to discuss fun and sports with others. You must sit at bar but, if you want to be alone and enjoy..this is a safe spot to do so. On the other hand, large groups are welcomed. There are lots of space and tvs. The food is always good. I rated this location 4 stars because depending on the time of day or sports event, could cause for delays in service. Checkout the brewniversity, the loyalty app that keeps you going back. Absolutely the worst. Are used to work for Taco Mac so it’s pretty sad. The staff was nice but clearly don’t care about doing there actually a job. Ordered my food to go was told that it would take 10 to 15 minutes. Ended up having to wait for about an hour for my to go food. Well I finally received my food was cold and I was missing one of the items I have paid for. Now I’m having a hard time even getting my money back. I would not suggest going to this location unless you have time to waste.
This has to be the worst Taco Mac in Atlanta. They never have enough employees. They let the phone ring endlessly without answering. It takes forever to have someone take your order. I saw several patrons walk out because they were tired of waiting. Employees dont seem friendly in most cases. They arent consistent on what time the kitchen closes. I went in after a Braves game and was told they no longer have game day specials. This Taco Mac is very poorly run which is sad for what used to be a phenomenal experience.
First time to Atlanta for work and this place was recommended by fellow peers. It has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Had to wait at the bar for a table because I was told it would take 20mins. My coworker and I decided to order a beer while we wait. Bartender took about 10mins to acknowledge us then another 25mins before we got our beer. By that time our table was ready so we closed our tab at the bar and went to our table. The food is pretty good and definitely good portions but the food took forever. Not sure what was causing the slow down because they were not busy. They didnt have any customers waiting by the doors or at the bar like we did and there were plenty of open tables. Overall I liked the place just very slow service.
BEWARE! DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUT AT THIS LOCATION!!! It took them 1 hour and 34 minutes to complete a single order of wings with fries and a coke. The manager kept insisting that the kitchen was short handed but the restaurant was about 70 percent full and everyone was eating and happy. Plenty of servers around. The online pickup companies were in and out with some delays. There was another individual next to us waiting over an hour as well. Clearly this facility prioritizes gratuity paying customers over in and out paying customers.
I came here to dine in. Upon walking up, I was having 2nd thoughts (see picture). There was a wait so I decided to order take out at the bar. NO ONE was there for like 10 mins. I finally decided to order online SITTING at the Taco Mac bar. The service is surely faster online. As Im finishing this review, Im now asked if Id like a drink. Sure...water. Sorry but Im not paying any more than my online order and I wont be leaving any tips except this review. Im hoping my food is good. Ive never been to this location. 😔
The service here is terrible. We have visited this place 3 times now, and the first time was okay. Second time, it took us an hour to get a Togo order and we ended up getting a refund and leaving with no food. The third time, we were sat and we waited for our server for 20 minutes before walking out. The host said “oh, no one came to serve you? Sorry have a good night”. If you want Taco Mac, drive an extra 20 minutes and go to Kennesaw. Much better.
Im disappointment in this Taco Mac, I order from this company about once a month, but around every 2 month I do large orders for my company over 200-300 dollar worth. I purchased a large order in December as a holiday gift it was over 300.00, sadly my items were missing, but since we love their food and service I called and explain and they mentioned they will write my name down and the next time I order I can just give them my name or I can stop by when ever Im free to get the items that were missing. well I called today because I was going to do a large order again for my team as a gift and I mentioned my name so I can get my missing food from last time and sadly the person I spoke on the phone with in December never wrote my name down.
This was not a good visit to this Taco Mac. The entire staff was unprofessional and the food took longer than usual to come out. The taste of the food was good though my wife did say her rice was dry. Overall, a disappointing visit. The GM did discount our bill. Hopefully the service returns to an exceptional level by next visit.
This is near many offices so its a common meeting point in the area for many professionals during or after work. They can be slow and unorganized but they make up for it in attitude and enthusiasm. Parking is plentiful, drinks are decent and so is the food. They do run out of beers often however, due to how many go there a day.
No one greeted us when we came in. We stood at the bar for 5 minutes before the bartender said anything (we were 2 of maybe 5 customers). We asked for a game to be put on, it never was. My pineapple cocktail didnt have any tsste of pineapple. When we asked to close our tab with a barely touched drink the bartender didnt ask why or what was wrong with the drink. First and last time I will go to that Taco Mac.
Worst place ever!! We were told the wait time to be seated would be 25-30 minutes….Waited a full hour and still not seated! At the 45 minute mark, the website stated we were next!!! The restaurant looked dirty, with many tables not bussed or cleaned. I saw one group having to clean their own tables so they could seat themselves! I would give “negative stars” if I could. Yuck!!!!
The first time is great, went again it was a different bartender. He was terrible he unattentive & played on his cellphone. My drink was empty for over 10 minutes & walk pass 3 times. Had to flag him down to ASK TO GET A REFILL. He was just terrible whenever I go back if hes behind the bar I will be leaving. Crazy part Ive been a bartender for over 5 years & it was super slow.
The servers were heaven sent, it was late when me and my friends went in but they were so helpful but that POS manager Jason needs to be fired with a quickness. He was beyond rude, made us wait over an hour to be seated then rushed our server to get us outta the way. I’m stick to the Hiram location from now on.
Food was good , service and attitude was what you would expect in a prison facility. I ordered a to go and waited 30 minutes for my order which was missing pork sliders which they failed to inform me was out. I asked for the manager who came out from the back said Im sorry and walked away from me while I was talking. Unbelievable ignorance. and ghetto atmosphere.
I’ve been waiting here for over an hour for a togo order. I understand it’s Super bowl Sunday but the lady that was 3 orders behind us has her order before us. Then after finding a seat to order a drink we were told we couldn’t eat our food at the table because we were not seated by the hostess!!! This place is so unorganized!!
If i could rate a zero star i would. this is my first time coming here and honestly it was the worst experience. the lady with the short buzz cut really didn’t pay no mind to me or my friend or the people behind us. the peach tea wasn’t sweet .. no napkins .. silverware and honestly she seemed racist, never again.
Where do I start......this was overall the worst Taco Mac Ive ever visited. We sat down and ordered, My fiance ordered a Margarita, she was told it had to made fresh since they didnt have the mixes available which was ok. The drink came and to our horror the glass that the drink came in had lipstick all over the rim😬. The drink was picked up and we were told it will be remade. The drink literally took 20 min to remake 🙄 The appetizers we ordered, which was the Philly cheesesteak, Buffalo chicken egg rolls, and mozzarella sticks were coming out and to our surprise none of the egg rolls came out. We were told they didnt have them. I feel like we should of been told that sooner....seeing as though I was hungrier than Hansel and Gretal. Finally our main courses.....after about 50 min they finally get to the table. My fiance ordered a Buffalo chicken salad with no blue cheese crumbles, my son ordered a chicken wrap with no ranch and no tomatoes and I order a burger with a side of fries and mac n cheese.....guess what my fiance got blue cheese crumbles, my son received ranch and tomatoes on his wrap and I didnt any fries 😑 sigh I was so disappointed. We had a movie planned in the next 15 min so we didnt have time for them to remake anything we asked for them to cancel the entire meal. I was starving.....long story short I got filled up on popcorn and movie theater candy🤣
Visited this Taco Mac location earlier today at 3:00 to meet a friend. We ordered beers from multiple staff, and those staff either came back to tell us that the beer was out or didnt show back up at all. Literally took the two of us an hour for each of us to have a beer in hand at the same time. Absolutely the worst experience that Ive ever had at a Taco Mac
Food and service can be excellent BUT inconsistency is the ONLY consistent here. If theres an issue, they really try to blow it off in person and dont even try to get them to make things right with carryout...Ive been waiting six weeks for a refund Ibwas promised. There are some excellent menu items and great team members here but I really shouldnt have to try to know how and when certain employees are scheduled so I can have a good experience
Beyond terrible service. Ordered 20 wings for pick up. Not only took it 90 min for them to bring the wings out, they were also not seasoned AND cold. Don’t say they just made them if they were clearly sitting in the kitchen forever. So unorganized !! The one star is for the fact that they remade them correctly and hot!
So I should I start? I arrived and met friend at Taco Mac, it took the waitress 15 mins to come to the table and begin getting our orders. As we ordered drinks, found out that they could only make 2 out of the 8 house drinks that are advertised, they didnt have the liquor to make the drinks. Our food was wrong and our waitress was stoned out of her mind. She just barely could make it to our table from being so high. This was a horrible experience.
I fully expect a refund. Not only was the order not ready when my husband arrived. He waited 30 minutes past pick up time, and we still received the wrong food. This place is hit or miss on food quality and service. It’s never consistent. But they are open late; so there aren’t many late night alternatives. He drove back to the restaurant only to be given...this.
Good attitude and nice people, food and prices were also good. Some items seemed needing something. For example my Buffalo burger which was a good size, had nothing but tomato, lettuce and barely any sauce. Our food was delivered entrees first and appetizers much later. Our check was wrong but promptly corrected. Still a good deal and affordable. I would go back but expecting small issues.
My daughter brought me here, and THIS was our first time coming here. I can honestly tell you that its my last time to. We waited over a hour or so for our food, fries cold as a New York winter, the wait service was mediocre, and upon eating the fish it was so salty that my hypertension needed its own pills😳😑🤢💯.first impressions are everything! This was a bad experience 💯
These are supposed to be habanero bbq wings! The sauce tastes watery. This is unacceptable and honestly, I don’t know if I should be disgusted. Whoever was responsible for the fryer July 2, 2021 at 12:45a needs to be reevaluated. How you screw up boneless wings?? When can I get my refund?
Great location/sports bar for watching the big game with friends. Large space, huge bar and a ton of nice TVs.Bad news is the food is ok (hot wings aren’t what they used to be), and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Our server was was very nice and while she got off to a good start, we would never see her again unless we asked someone to hunt her down.So they get 4 stars for atmosphere, space and TVs, but 3 stars for food & 2 for service.
First time trying Taco Mac. Food wasnt bad at all. Our server was friendly. Only, getting the food was a little bit slow. Took about 15 minutes from taking the order for the food to come out. Other than that, nice visit.I had the BBQ Shrimp Tacos with coleslaw, pickled onion and jalapenos, salsa verde and red sauce. Nice balance of heat and great bbq flavor.
Horrible service. Spoke to the manager about it and got a 1 dollar discount. Food took over and hour to come out and one person didn’t get their food until the bills were out. Drinks were hard to get and we were even told they were out of things that the bartender said weren’t actually out. Requested a game to be put on and the server said she asked but they ignored her, turns out she never asked.
This place was well spaced and all employees wore face masks. The food was delicious and the server was on point with what was good and not so good depending on the cooks in the back. The only reason why I docked a star was because the hostess did not explain that the menus were digital and my friend and I were waiting on a paper menu. Overall good environment, food, and drinks. Would definitely go again as part of my moving going adventure.
This location is HORRIBLE!! Please don’t come here! We waited an entire hour for our food to come just to be wrong and cold so we sent it back. Now I’m waiting for the bill and it better not have what we sent back on it! Same thing everywhere in Atlanta. Unqualified staff and horrible customer service!!
This place was great for a great spot for watching a sports event on multiple screens. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had a situation where my order was forgotten and the waitress still filled my order apologized and gave me my order on the house. You cant go wrong with that. Try the fish tacos very. Deep fried fillets. I cant tell you what kind of fish. But they are not shy about the portions of fish in the tacos. You get 3 and they are pretty good.
This is the second time I have been to this location and the service has been HORRIBLE.. after placing an order for drinks in the bar area, 15 minutes go by and no response, we goto the front desk and ask for a table only to be asked to go back to the bar only to sit for another 30 minute with nothing. I then asked the bartender to have the manager come over only to be treated poorly again...2nd and LAST time coming to this location....
If I could leave less than one star I would. Went there on Sunday afternoon it wasn’t packed. I seated right away. Sat there for 20 minutes with no service. I asked an employee if we could get some service and was told the server who section that was jus got off her shift so we’ll see. Needless to say we left
The food was aswesome, I had the All Day Nachos and the boneless hot wings with fries; out of this world. It has the vibe as Buffalo Wild Wings as the decor. But the only thing what sucked was the waitress. She wasnt enthused that we was there, she didnt give us her name, she spoke low, checking on us was limited, I had to call for her and she replied Whats up? She was very unprofessional, she shouldnt be a waitress. Also when I would ask for something it would take a while to receive. Midday, so it wasnt busy. The guy who walked us to our table, was better than her. And you cant miss her black female, with blue and white hair like Harley Quinn if you get her ask for another one. It would get a higher rating but the costumer service sucked.👎
Such a delicious meal! I wish I would have taken a picture of the artichoke dip. Everything that I ate was fantastic! Flavorful, looked good, smelled great and was satisfying. I would definitely recommend this place! It’s got a sports bar pub atmosphere. Never a dull moment. The waiter was great as well!
First timer. I am visiting form out of town and a friend I heard it was a happening place. Well it wasnt very busy and got seated right away. ( maybe become it was on a Thursday night) our waitress was nice, but waited too long between placing orders and paying for our food. The zucchini I had was good, the wings were okay and on the little side.
No boneyard basket, wipe, and they ran out of tartar sauce. We were recommended and given a drink that we said we didnt want. We didnt drink it and asked for it to be taken away as soon as the server came to the table. Then we were told to wait fir a manager to remove the drink from our tab.The kitchen didnt bother to roast it even heat the corn, at all.
Only way to describe what we attempted to eat yesterday was disgusting. We ordered takeout, got home and literally took a small bit of each of our meals and ended up wasting the whole thing. $ to Taco Mac for absolutely nothing. It was already after 11 pm by the time we got home to eat so going back in the bad weather wasn’t worth the energy. The wings were clearly old and cold and you could tell they just poured the cold sauce on them. The Mac and cheese noodles were soggy and the cheese had dried up on top of it so it ended up tasting like old noodle water. Someone clearly made the mistake of dumping too much pepper on obvious old dated brown colored Cole slaw and the tator tots were like as if they were leftover from the day before and reheated in the microwave. I mean it all was just gross. I’m not a review writer but that’s how bad it was.
I went In to place a takeout order and asked if I could grab a beer while I wait. The host who took my order said sure, and that he would come get me when it came up. 30 minutes go by and I haven’t seen any new orders be dropped off at the host stand in a while so I go ask how much longer it would be. The young lady working the host stand finds my order instantly which is now cold. I asked why they didn’t come get me, she said he was the only one up there for a while. Not true. She was there most of the time. She was eating, he was chatting. This was after the lunch rush.He offered to remake it and I said I don’t have time, because this order should take 20 minutes to make if it’s made correctly. He went to the back and brought out the same bag, reheated, with more sauce added just a couple of minutes later. This was problematic because my order was meant to be extra crispy and it was now the exact opposite of that. At this point it’s been 40 minutes since my original order was placed. I called when I left to express my concern that a service was being promised that can’t be delivered. The manager I spoke to said his name was Jeff but I think he may have given me two different names so I can’t verify if that is correct. All he did to rectify this was to offer to make it again which I reminded him had already happened and was still wrong. His response was “so you just called to vent?” No, my purpose was to suggest they stop offering services they can’t provide.I’ve worked in multiple restaurants for about 20 years in roles ranging from server to host to manager. I feel like I was treated like a problem customer when all I was asking for was what they had offered to deliver.Side note: it doesn’t help matters when the host also calls you “darling” in a condescending way.THE ONLY SAVING GRACE ABOUT THIS PLACE was the bartender staff, Alexis and Asia. They were wonderful. I wish I could have placed my order with them because the hosts did not deserve the full gratuity they were given on my tab.TL;DR Go to any other place in town for wings.
Tonight we came to this location for a group birthday get together. We had a group of 9 people, we waited 30+ minutes for our first drinks, then waited another 30+ minutes for appetizers, then waited an hour and a half for our food. Our first waitress “forgot” about our table for 20+ minutes and rarely came to check on our table. We requested to change waitresses and speak with the manager. The manager came over and apologized and we got a new waitress. Our second waitress (CJ) was fantastic! She took care of us, she checked on us frequently and she always let us know an update on how long we would be waiting for something to come out. When we got our food, it was cold. And they forgot to bring out some of the items we had ordered…we were all hungry and tired of waiting, so we just let it go…eventually after letting the manager know of the situation he gave us a large discount off. Thankfully… because we almost walked out. But we don’t plan on coming back here or recommending this place to any friends….very disappointed.
I ordered boneless wings. I received what appears to be shrimp tacos. The tacos were squished into foil and not properly closed fully, with sauce all over the foil. No effort at all. The food is cold as if it had been sitting. This looks disgusting. I work in the restaurant industry so I hardly complain but this unacceptable to even send to a customer. It honestly looks like an employees shift food and mine got swamped.
How has this place not closed down yet? Its straight up hood. Went last night, some girl was cussing up a storm on instawhatever right in front of the entrance....trash all on the ground in the doorway, trash on empty tables inside, no one at the hostess stand and a group ahead of us...and it smelled like stale beer. Garbage restaurant that has gone downhill. Ohhh well. Buckhead has been lost, now Cumberland. Lets just blame this on wages at this restaurant not starting at $25/hr, lol
Food was good. Plenty of T.V went to watch the Falcons game .I ask the lady where the Falcons game would be shown she had no idea what i was talking about. Then i had to ask the Manager he finally put it on. When we went in they should have some T.V with the Falcons on
The worst customer service. Manager never came back to the phone. Order was not ready for pick up. Over an hour past the pick up time. Unprofessional. This is a restaurant with a night club atmosphere. Employee cant even hear the customers over the loud music and televisions. Never offered anything for my time waiting. All I was offered was Thank you for you patience by the say Manager that placed the phone down and never returned. Spend your money where it is appreciated. I am in the hospitality industry and I would never treat one of my guest that way.
Definitely could use some improvements. The server was great. But, we received our wings cold. I know were in a pandemic and they could be short staffed. I prefer to wait a little longer to receive my food than for my food to sit in the kitchen until its cold. Glad the server made the manager aware and he offered to cook us another batch. It was late so we didnt want to reorder. We hope the server didnt experience this with her other tables. If so, she probably had a tough night making tips.
Do not waste your time the service and policy are poor. We order fries with our meal, they didnt bring them until we were almost done. It was there fault and they were salty. We requested to have them taken off the bill after the manager asked what he could do to help. The refused to take the late fries off. Poor customer service!!@to take te6fri
What an awesome experience!The Staff was very friendly despite it being slammed! The Menu had plenty of great food and beer options and the Service (Tyrick in particular) was absolutely fantastic!! He was super friendly, checked back numerous times to make sure we were happy and taken care of and was just plain fun to interact with! Our dinner (wings, fish & chips, Cuban sandwich) was cooked to absolute perfection! So if you want a great atmosphere and great service and great food and 50 tvs showing football on saturday evening.... yep, this is your place!! I know its our favorite!!
Came in around 9:30PM on Sunday, since it’s the only restaurant open pretty late. Word to the wise, do not come here if you are starving or really even hungry. The scab team is at their all time high at this location. It’s odd because you would think if you’re on the clock, you’d be eager to make the most money you can. Instead, the majority of the servers are too busy amongst themselves and with their 1 table to help or serve anyone else, even when they have noticeably seen you sitting/waiting. You definitely sense bad attitudes in the air, which makes you feel very uncomfortable. Luckily Alizé (sorry if spelt wrong), insisted on serving my family and I, after noticing we were sitting at the table for quite some time, clearly not having been greeted. I truly appreciate individuals like her because she’s not only willing to help someone but she’s there with purpose. She made sure we had everything we needed, was very kind and apologized for any kind of wait. She’d make a better manager than any manager that was on the clock at that time because not even the manager walking around aimlessly stopped to offer any of their hospitality that is expected of them. Would’ve given the review 1 star if it weren’t for our great service from Alizé!
Ordered a burger over the phone, they tell me 10-15 minutes. Go to pick it up 15 minutes later, pay for my order. Proceed to stand there for another 30 minutes while the poor desk guy goes back 3 times to check on my order. After 45 minutes I tell the manager I want to cancel my order, he doesn’t apologize, doesn’t offer a coupon, nothing. Just voids my order and acts like I should be thankful he did that. You can walk to Laseter’s get better food, better service, and get Sunday Ticket for half the cost. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.
If you want a good experience, do NOT eat here. I went on a Wednesday night and experienced poor customer service and terrible management. After waiting 45 minutes to pick up a To-Go order (I was told 20 minutes) I waited another 15 minutes for a manager to finally come to the front to refund my check. The sad part about this poor experience is that the restaurant was not even busy. After requesting information for the manager in duty (MOD) and asking what was the status of my food, thats when the MOD told me that my food was already ready. Basically if he had provided me that information at that point, I would have just taken my food and not requested a refund. My advice to general management/ leadership: 1) properly train your To-Go staff and have more than one person working To-Go and 2) hire better managers on duty resolve issues quickly.
Ive been to this location a couple times and for the last time yesterday. I do like the food but the customer service need serious training in hospitality.I tried to order online and my card is rejected 3 times the message saying that theres a problem with my billing adress WRONG, its not the first time they did that, call them and she says that its not my card, but them who blocked online Orders because theyre have too many orders. In that case say that instead of making me think that sthg is wrong with my card.Go there order a couple burgers, i insist on no bacon, she says this burger doesnt come with bacon anyway, mind you i know for a fact that it does, anyway i still insist and she says dont worry Ill put it down. Wait 30min, my order finally arrives, i check and SURPRISE bacon everywhere 😠. I tell her and a man come ask me did you know it came with bacon uh yeah thats why I specifically and repeatedly asked without, but YOUR waitress doesnt seem to know. They redo my order, and just hand it to me didnt apologized once for the mistake for the extra wait, nothing, and then i noticed that she actually never put no bacon on the ticket, so it wasnt the kitchens fault it was all hers, didnt apologized or acknowledged me as i was leaving. She actually wasnt the one correcting her mistake. This whole thing stole 2hrs of my life never again with this location.
Ranch is .60 extra but its really good ranch so do what that what you want. We went in and it wasnt busy we got seated immediately. Our food came out fast and wrong that could have been a fluke though. The wings werent the best but the quesadillas were great. My server was nice and friendly just slow. It wasnt the worst experience. My suggestion would be not to go if your starving you might leave mad.
Got here at 10:10pm. Took the waitress 12 minutes to greet us. We ordered food and a drink. Drink took 40 minutes to get, and food took a full hour. Waitress was unapologetic and manager never stopped by. Very bad service and very disappointing. Typically a big taco mac fan.
I swore I’d never order Taco Mac wing to go because this is the third time I have had an issue with my online order. The last time they didn’t have any flavor to them, the time after that they were minuscule like the ones in the photos and this time they were both minuscule & flavorless. As this appears to be a reoccurring issue I had to express my concerns about the level of service at this establishment. If I had been able to take this order back & speak to a manager I would’ve. But unfortunately, I was at work and was unable to leave. I understand there is a shortage on wings but to serve these type of wings to your customers is appalling and feel action should be taken by management to prevent this issue in the future. This order was placed July 31, 2021 around 11 pm.
Stood in line for 10 minutes before I was greeted with a not pack establishment. Order a 10 piece Lemon pepper. They gave me all drummettes (legs). I asked they redo my order and add some flats. They took 30 minutes (while the bus was waiting) and hand me back cold chicken. Horrible.
Essence was awesome. She is an amazing waitress on point the entire time. Great personality taco Mac is lucky to have her. Thank you we will def be back. And the food is always good naturally. Best wings all the staff is so polite from the time u enter till time u leave.
I wish I could give zero stars. I had the worst service of all my time going to Taco Mac tonight (10+ years), we love the Canton one but we were in the area and stopped here…. BIG MISTAKE. Myself and 3 others went to the Cumberland location tonight. First we arrive and ask to sit on the porch we’re there were tables still not cleaned off with them saying they weren’t sure they could seat us out there or didn’t know who our server would be. We brought our dogs as well so we needed to sit outside. We arrived at 7pm to a 1/4-1/2 full restaurant inside, no one outside except about 2 dirty tables from prior customers. After waiting for 15 minutes to just see our server, we ordered a large queso with extra tortillas and 4 beers. The beer took about 10-15 minutes to show up. Our waitress asked if we had gotten our queso dip, obviously not on our table. She left to go get it and came back 10 minutes later and said “they said they brought it out let me go see where it is at” 10 minutes later our reheated brownish colored queso comes. Then we order our food. Between the 4 people we ordered 26 wings. 16 the same flavor. And one with a side of sweet potato fries. After 30 minutes the waitress comes back to empty beer glasses and empty water glasses. We order 4 more beers. We got 2 correct beer orders 10-15 minutes later and wait another 5-10 minutes for the correct beers to return. At this point we have been in the restaurant for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes NOT EVEN WITH FOOD. When our 26 wings finally arrive, two of the three orders were cold. Not freshly cooked warmish wings, COLD. We immediately notified the waitress and she apologized and retuned to the kitchen. 15 minutes later the “manager” Ivan? Ivana? Comes to the table and advised us that our wings were being re cooked and would be out shortly, not even apologizing about the service. The one order that was prepared and warm was finished and I asked the manager to just place them in To-go boxes, because last thing we wanted was to stay there any longer. While another person of the party tried explaining what had happened during our service to the manager (which she never even asked us or cared to) walked away in the middle of her talking with an attitude and not even an apology for our 2 hr wait for our meal. No other manager was on site to talk to and our waitress couldn’t give us any other name above her, not sure why?? After another 15-20 minute wait the waitress and “manager” came back out with our food and our what she advised was “comped” checks. This included two different checks that were 100% incorrect for both parties. What should have been at least an even check on both sides, one check was nearly $65 for and $30 for the other. The “manager” applied a “good customer credit” to both checks at that time. After reviewing the check the waitress was called back out and notified and advised of the mistake and our reheated queso was asked to be completely taken off. When she returned, the checks were reviewed again and no compensation was given for our $45 dollar meal and the queso was still applied to the other parties meal and a “good customer discount” applied to there’s but not to ours, some how it magically was removed from our checks. Deciding to just pay and leave and not fight again and bills were paid while also advising the waitress that she did a fine job and we did not believe her service was bad however her managers attitude and customer service was incredibly dissatisfying. Once at home with our food that we had to place for To-go after a 2 hour wait, lone and behold our sweet potato fries that we were still charged for were not in the order at all. This again was by far my worst experience at any taco Mac location in all my time being a loyal customer.
I would give them zero stars if I could. My family and I stopped for takeout after playing at Main Event boy what a mistake that was. The hostess was seating customers,talking phone orders,walk-in orders and online orders, very disorganized and not fair to her. We ordered 3 kids meals and a salad. After waiting an hour we canceled the order without anyone offering an apology;so much for customer service. After canceling we were told it would take 3-5 days for the refund. We are in town from California I guess I’m spoiled because I’m used to good customer service and this place definitely doesn’t have that. There were many people complaining and inquiring about their orders. One guy(poor thing) had waited well over an hour before we waiting our hour with nothing to show

Chicken Tinga Dip chicken was burnt. We told server as a feedback, he said that is how the chicken is cooked when grilled, asked server to tell manager, manager came with that little attitude, he didnt even apologized, said he will tell the cook and left. RUDE.Not Coming Back.
I ordered the six count original bone in wings from here for the first time and paid extra for them to be extra crispy. These wings were soggy and not crisp in the slightest. Even the one time they gave me bone in instead of boneless on accident they were better than these. I did not get what I paid for.
Gotta do better! Our server was nice but didnt know anything about the menu and kept disappearing on us. Wings werent tossed. Just placed on a plate and sprinkled with lemon pepper seasoning. None were fully coated. Then when the waitresses finally wants to tend to us she kept wanting to take our plates while we were still eating. Seemed like a very juvenile staff headed up by poor leadership who seems to let the inmates run the asylum. Wont be going back to this location.
Giving a one star to this place would be way too generous. We waited for 45 minutes for our food, and it was a to-go order. When we finally got our food, it was completely wrong and the salad we had ordered was just lettuce and nothing else. When we asked for our money back (since no one has time to wait 45 more minutes to fix an order), the workers started yelling at us that they couldnt do that and tried blaming us for the wrong order. We then spoke to the manager with a man bun that gave us an excuse and said that to go order wings take longer than wings for here. Funny thing is, we didnt order wings. The manager tried to not give us our money back until we had to beg for it because we would not being paying the money for our completely wrong orders, but then eventually gave it back to us. Doesnt make up for wasting an hour of standing with no food and the worst service I have ever experienced. Door dash drivers were waiting for their food, while taco mac employees just stood around and slowly moving. This Taco Mac messed not only with our order, but door dash drivers who didnt make as much as they could have because of the terrible service and systems in place, and the 10 other people waiting for their to-go orders over an hour. Never coming back here, and most likely those 10 other customers that had to wait as well! Peace Taco Mac Cumberland. Do better!
Worst experience ever, after waiting 40 minutes for 2 to go meals; I get home to find one of the meals cold, sauce had dripped from the top meal into the bottom, and salt on the fries that we had asked for no seasoning. Maybe the restaurant is only good now when you actually have your food in house....I called and asked to speak to a manager, and was kept on hold for over 30 minutes.This place did not get better after the pandemic they got worse then ever.
Been here plenty of times. Food is varying a bit too much for my tastes. Depending on the cook, the food comes out different every time. Sometimes they skimp on the portions, sometimes the food is great, other times, not so much. Sometimes the temperature is off or the servers take forever even if it isnt busy. 3 stars because theyre inconsistent. Taco Mac usually has good food, but there are other locations with better food and service.
So Ive visited on more than one occasion and on every one the bartender decides when hes done making drinks. Im confused how an entire HOUR before closing hes telling guests hes no longer serving.i understand precleaning and everything (I also work in a restaurant) but that is completely unacceptable. Most likely will NEVER return to this location. Only reason they got a 3 is because the food was great! Even though our service was pretty horrible. And yes it was the same bartender every time.
Ok so this is not about food or drinks... it is about service kind of. We wanted to visit to watch game. It is a home game so restaurants should anticipate heavy traffic. They were short staffed in the kitchen so they wouldnt allow us to sit because if we ordered it would be an hour getting our food. So just say that and not make us feel like we are getting on your nerves how about let us sit and order drinks... so unnecessary! When we finally got in our server was amazing or I would get one star.
The two stars is for the nice layout of the TVs. Other than that, this place is terrible. The employees are slow and unmotivated, and management may as well not exist. You will wait for everything and watch the bartenders mope around. Again this place stinks. It has to be the worst run location within the chain.. At least I hope so..
Restaurant was nearly empty but my to go order took a little over a hour. I only ordered wings with a side of broccoli and tacos with a side of chili. Finally when I got my order, the broccoli and sour cream I ordered was missing. It took another 20 minutes to get the broccoli. Food was ok but service definitely needs improvement.
Just left the Cumberland location in Atlanta GA. Very first visit. Service was good. Food was good. Until...I asked for everything on 1 check. The server brings me the check and I hand her my card. She comes back to the table with a credit card receipt with a totally different amount. Tells me that she forgot to add something. NO MAAM! You dont swipe someones card for an amount that was not authorized or disclosed. The manager comes over and is very dissmissive. Tells me since we ate the food there is nothing he can do. He will retrain her and starts to walk away. I asked for the GMs info and he says he doesnt have info for him. I felt violated and totally disrespected. What else did you do with my credit card when you took it back there? I will never go to this restaurant again
First time at a Taco Mac and had a fabulous experience. Relaxing, yet enjoyable environment for a “sports bar”. Our server Nadia was professional, friendly, and welcoming! She was extremely knowledgeable on the drink and food menu; she made awesome suggestions! Great service, great food! We will definitely be returning and requesting Nadia!
Great spot i love the Taco Macs this is one of the nicer ones. I with there brought back the Calamari, but I digress. Cant go wrong with Taco Mac. Alexis is amazing, beautiful, smart and knowledgeable about All the beers and I mean All of them.You cant go wrong here. The customer service is great!
Great servers with awesome personalities- 3 stars because always, and I mean always, busy after dark! Short staffed due to covid and theres not always a person at the front (host/hostess) to cater to people as they arrive. Average wait time the last THREE times we went was 35 minutes to seat 5 people. Wait time for food after 10pm is always around 35 minutes as well.
As many of the other reviews stated, this location is HORRIBLE! The leadership is poor and it is reflective in the employees. Long wait times just to receive drinks/ appetizers and 4 out of 6 orders of my partys food was wrong. Incompetent was used in several comments prior, I see why. I decided to give it a try any way and that was a very bad mistake. Im not sure how they are staying in business. They need a MAJOR overhaul, starting with management. Attitude reflects leadership!
Where do I start? First, I call to put my order in but was put on hold for 10+ minutes. So I hang up and call back just to be told, we do not take orders over the phone after 11. So I ask could I come in and order...they said yes. So I go in to order...an hour+ later host brings out our food. I get to the hotel... My order wasnt right. I was over it. No need to call back about the wrong order considering how long it took me to get my food.
Awesome beer selection...BUT the SERVICE is consistently AWFUL. Order to go and took two hours to get. Asked multiple times for order and told not ready. Food was sitting there the entire timeNow I have soggy fries, cold wings and no blue cheese dressing.u son quesadilla is cold and soggy, since he had to wait for my order which was placed first. Then server said it came out fresh. He has lied over and over. Do the job you are getting paid for. Going in tomorrow and asking for a refund since I:m told the manager is to busy to come to phone or come up front to discuss.
I ordered my food from their website to go around 7:05. They said it would be ready at 7:30 so I got there about 7:31. They were obviously busy like restaurants can get so I understood I needed to wait a bit longer. Around 7:50 someone else came in and looked for an order so they went down the names of the orders and my name came up. So my food was just sitting there getting cold while i wait hungry next to it, and my sister waits hungry at home. Im upset, but if the food was good and fine Id be alright since poor service happens. When I get home I pull the takeout box straight up, not tilted at all, and a bunch of sauce came pouring out of the side and got on the seat and almost the carpet. So now Ive got a dirty chair and an old order, so I call pretty upset. The manager answered me and decided he didnt like me cursing and hung up on me. So now Im heading there to be more polite and work on some solution, but at this point the manager has decided he is UNWILLING to work with me. Despite that I even apologized for my anger. While Im their being ignored, my sister informs me they gave us blue cheese instead of ranch. So I ask for ranch and get home only to hear they gave us more blue cheese. Its sad that management is unwilling to work with customers with legitimate concerns about how theyre treating customers. Its sad that the management takes things personally enough to avoid working with customers that genuinely want to work with him. Pray your food is right the first time or be ready to be ignored. And my food was cold.
This particular location has not been too good. Ordered from uber eats a few times and my orders were missing items and/or cold and soggy. They told me I could get more fries and a drink next time for free. I went and they eventually accommodated us however our order was still wrong. We paid extra for all flats and we didn’t get it. We also asked for mild and lemon pepper and got something that tasted sweet. And the other half of the wings were supposed to be mild but were definitely hot. I don’t mind spicy but my friend couldn’t even eat them. Pretty disappointed that all three times my order was wrong or very wrong. Their ranch is A1 but that’s about it.
I ordered through Uber Eats worst food ever. I order 5 wings lemon pepper, nothing but butter flavor less. Next 5 wings honey twang taste like straight store brought bbq sauce. French fries were decent and the homemade ranch is disgusting. Mac and cheese was mushy and tasted old. Waste of my money
Where do I begin.. giving this place one star is so much more than it deserves. Came here at 3PM today and they weren’t busy at all. We ordered guac and queso to start and didn’t get it till after 3:40 when we asked our server about it. We had ordered grilled wings and were told that they haven’t come out yet because they take longer.... ok but over an hour for just 10 grilled wings? The staff had absolutely no sense of urgency and just acted careless. As someone who was a server for many years, it was extremely frustrating to experience such low level of service. PLEASE do not waste your time and your money at this POORLY ran establishment.
Worst experience and service ever. After waiting a hour and 40 minutes, I contacted the store. Someone has been waiting 40 minutes at the store to pick up the food...no idea where my food is. Called twice, put on hold twice. The third time I asked her not to put me on hold and I wanted her to find the manager. She started only one manager in the store. His name was Tarad and her name was Alexis. He instructed her to take my name and number and he would call me back. Never did. The store cancelled my order after me waiting almost 2 hours.
I really at times have enjoyed the mild hot wings from Taco Mac for years. However lately not so much. Within 30 days I have spent up to 60.00 for food that has been below the standards by which compensation was required.Two complaints regarding the quality of the food were made to management and the responses were so standard, with no genuine or sincere explanation or compensation.I will no longer choose to endorse a sports bar where there is no quality or standard for ones product, taste or presentation, also there is no accountability from management as well.If you plan to visit the suburds of Atlanta, cobb county Cumberland it is my opinion and suggestion that you by pass this Taco Mac you will not regret not stoppingI forgot to take pictures of the food today before tossing the food in the trash for the 3rd and final time.
Absolutley awful. The staff is a joke. Our food came out cold but the server dropped it and ran so we couldnt tell her. Got drinks and by the time they were delivered, they were completley watered down. We had to ask for boxes 3 times because our server paid no attention. We waited 30+ minutes for our food to come out cold and gross. The restaurant was pretty empty so there really wasnt any excuse. This is the 2nd time this group has come here and weve had an awful experience both times. Incredibly disappointed.
I always love Taco Mac. I always get wings except today. I got a burger. Theyre only serving them well done. Yuck. It was fine. The kitchen didnt get the condiments right so they remade it. The second rendition had two condiments that we didnt want. They didnt bring the chili we ordered either. They did send both the new incorrect burger and the missing chilli home with us. No charge for the chili.They have the best cheese dip in the world. I will always come back.
Food is decent. Service is not the best especially by the bar. Not one time did the staff ask if there was anything else I needed. Also the silverware provided was dirty. This is definitely my last time at this particular location. Sanitation does not appear an important factor here either I had to ask for my space to be wiped down. This is not a good look especially with COVID going on.
Every time we try to order to go, it’s messed up. We keep giving it chance after chance because we live TMac wings, but they never have it write, do not answer their phone and do not allow online Togo orders and do not care about delivery services. Poorly mismanaged. Corporate needs to come check it out. Have to find something else for wings in the area because we literally are unable to order anything from this place.
I left the place with my friends an couple hours ago the girl who took my order on to go was super cool she was laid back polite and. She gave us free drinks for the 20 min wait . I will definitely be returning . She had a lot of rude people in her face but she handled it she didn’t go off or anything I am very impressed with the professionalism this place shows
Dining room experiences haven’t been good. Slow service 8 times out of 10. (Hate to categorize all the servers but I’ve only experienced a couple good ones) Best option at this location is to sit at the bar. The bartenders are friendly, attentive, provide good service, quick, and make the experience what it should be. I worked at a Taco Mac for years...don’t think the expectation is unrealistic but maybe it’s me. Wings still great and beer is always a hit!
Walked in this evening at 10:19. I am coming at you live at 11:26pm with no sign of our food in sight. Our server Maggie has been great but she’s honestly the only decent one we’ve ever had. The service at this location is consistently slow. Tonight was no different.
Honestly, the service at this location is poor at best. And don’t even get me started on whether or not this location is clean or not. It’s definitely not. One trip to the men’s restroom will clearly define what the rest of this restaurant looks like. It’s just gross. If I could give this location zero stars I would. Goodbye for good Cumberland Taco Mac. Y’all obviously don’t get it as well as the the other locations. Y’all just don’t get it at all.
Horribly disorganized. The hostess had no clue. She told us it was a15 min wait, after 20 mins I asked again and she said it was now over 30 mins. There were plenty of socially distanced tables available. If they were dirty staffed they should have told us and we could have left earlier. Horrible!!!
In all honesty, this specific Taco Mac needs to be shut down. The food is just as nasty as the employees attitude. The place is extremely unorganized. & they never have seats available, it’s ALWAYS A 30 min wait which turns out to be an hour wait. It’s ridiculous! I’d highly recommend the one in midtown. Do NOT eat here.
This location has the most incompetent staff I have ever encountered. I placed an order for pick up, arrived within the timeframe I was supposed to and when I got there, the staff was less than helpful. After waiting for several minutes for ANY assistance, I finally interrupted two employees just casually talking and asked them for my order. They spent 15 minutes “looking” for my order back and forth between the kitchen and the bar then figured out they hadn’t made it. At this point, I could no longer wait and asked for a refund, which I did not get and left without my food. This location should look into better training. They had several staff members “working” but no one was actually assisting any customers! Horrible service.
Great wings(my personal favorite honey chipotle),fries are really tasty as well, very crispy and seasoned to perfection. Service and delivery are good. Me and my boyfriend are always satisfied with our order. We haven’t issue yet. Hopefully it stays that way. Hands down the best Taco Mac I’ve experienced. Please keep up the good work!
Would have gave it 5 stars but one of the waitresses was super rude to me when I accidentally walked into the womens restroom. First of all it was my first time at this particular restaurant, second of all I get that it was my bad and Ill take accountability for not paying attention and going into the womens restroom. But the way that this employee decided to handle it was pretty unpleasant and based on that they lose a star.
I went in during lunch hours to get some work done on my laptop. When I walked in every employee was wearing a mask. The other bar patrons were socially distanced more than 6ft from each other. I was immediately greeted by the bar tender, Roy, who was an absolute delight. He truly made my day. I always appreciate a bar tender who gets to know the name of their customers and makes sure they are enjoying themselves. I have been to this location many times and have never been disappointed!

2022-05-14First time being at this location wasn’t bad. The food was cooked well. The server did her job and was attentive for the most part could be better but it wasn’t horrible. I had the Clermont burger and it was pretty tasty and filling, wife had the nachos that was well prepared also it just was a-little to greasy and oily for my liking but would recommend this location to friends if were nearby

2021-09-25Upon walking in the door, I picked up on a stale odor. The host was not professional at all and he sat me at a dirty table. It took awhile for a server to come to the table and I noticed the servers staring at me and my date like they did not want to serve us or something...it made me pretty uncomfortable. I got that vibe that the servers were saying some ugly things at the soda fountain about us. The collective attitude here was just terrible. After experiencing all this, the manager came and apologized about the dirty table. This really disappoints me because Taco Mac is a place that I have always considered hip and this sort of shattered my illusion. I had beef street tacos. They were bad. The labor shortage and the pandemic might be a factor here and I get the impression that the team here is feeling under appreciated and over worked. I think it is a good sign that there is a serious need for labor reform in our country. I want good service and that is only possible when people can be happy when they work. People shouldnt have to break their health and neglect their own lives to come up. Get well soon Taco Mac!

2022-03-30Place was crowded due to several different factors. Games, Friday night crowd plus concerts in the area. The wait wasnt too bad 30-45 mins. However, bar is first come...seats opened up grabbed them. The bar staff was fantastic, love how they do the name system (very personal touch) ❣Emma, was awesome...great personality, on top of the refills and corrected the little issue that we did have RIGHT away! What an amazing experience for my first time at this location. DEFINITELY will be going back and have already recommended this location. Go check out the fish & chips and Emma. 2022-04-09I go here (and other locations) often so I think it deserves 5 stars. The place has TVs everywhere! You can request a certain game for a TV nearby. Varied beer selection. Food is consistently good, though, the fries usually arrive warm at best. I would order tater tots here instead bc they seem to come out hotter and hold heat better. Always great vibes and fun times with friends here.

2022-04-10The food was great. I didnt like the Philly egg roll..too salty only meat no cheese.My wings came out hot and fresh, but they were just plain wings sitting on some sauce. I expected the wings to be tossed with the sauce I ordered ( wet lemon pepper and honey chipotle). My server was nice and checked on us constantly but she was also super busy and forgot our refills at one point.

2022-04-09Customer service is absolutely dumpster juice. Sat at the bar to wait for my seat and 3 people came in after were seated, the bartender paid zero attention to my empty cups. And the appetizers took so long when we finally got our seats we left before it came.

2022-05-06Thursday night- Took 30 minutes to get seated was told 25 so that is fine however, when we were seated our waitress took at least 15 to 20 minutes to acknowledge us. We were ready to order so we did. We ordered two beers which took 30 minutes to get, we got our food maybe 45 minutes after we ordered and we didnt get our complete order. We ordered wings with fries and the fries never came.... it was the slowest, worst service we received. No apology given... mind you we are patient people but this was veryyy slow, unprofessional service.
