There falafel is some of the best in Atlanta in Atlanta I can say Ive had it for the last 6 days straight lol yes 6 days. You must try the falafel with their housemate hot sauce tahini sauce and taziki sauce. The woman that takes my order is very polite Always courteous every time I come in. If youre a Vegan or vegetarian I urge you to try their falafel you will not be disappointed, II have never had their medit meet may try one day.
A great, low key Mediterranean dining experience. The folks who serve up the food are very friendly and happy to go through everything on the menu to tell you whats good, everything on the menu is good, and the price point is very reasonable. Overall a really good value and a relaxed, friendly place to get some very tasty shaved meat!
Horrible customer serviceSubpar food. They messed up my order and had the nerve to get an attitude. Ive tasted enough tabbouleh to know tabbouleh is not creamy. Then when they finally acknowledged the mistake, their response was well were closing. Made no offer to correct situation.Bakalava was doughy mess. Thanks for nothing
The food was good. The customer service was the worst Ive had in a very long time.I wish I could give 0 stars. We drove 40 minutes to get here.I asked lady behind the counter for suggestions since it was our 1st time there. She told us to look online then she will be back. She was not helpful at all. However the food is good. While sitting there eating, several Muslim customers came in the restaurant.the lady behind the counter was smiling, extra nice, very talkative, sooo friendly with them. She made them feel welcomed. We felt like it didnt matter whether we purchased food or not.Well I did not like her interaction with us (not Muslim) v/s Muslim. No matter how good the food is the service was really bad.I dont appreciate it, I only stayed because of the long drive to get there. In my book customer service goes a really long ways.I wont be back
I liked it. I thought the food was delicious, and reasonable. Its located in a seedy part of 14th Street but otherwise it was enjoyable on a late Saturday afternoon. Ill go again. My girlfriend on the other hand is more a country meat and potatoes kind of gal so she turned up her nose. I love the music! And Muhammad our cashier / waiter/ chef was most agreeable to be around. All smiles.
Customer service was good. People did greet us on our way in and patiently waited for my friend and I to figure out what we wanted to eat. The serving style is similar to how you would order at Chipotle. I bought a bowl and tried hummus for the first time. It was nice. It had a mayo tuna taste.
The quality of the chicken shawarma has greatly decreased over the last three years. During my latest dine-in, the chicken was very chewy and overcooked. Some pieces were burnt to the point of being inedible. This experience, combined with the rising prices, made it feel like a slap in the face.
Found this place on Google, wanted to try it, went there with my friends the lady behind the counter ( Doha) ضحى) was a magnificent lady knew all about the menu and recommended some items, we actually came back with a larger group 2 days later just because of the food and the friendly lady and tremendous service, we thank you and for sure will be back when in town.
This food is excellent. I lived in DC for a while, and Amsterdam felafelshop was my go to. Very similar!! Chipotle style assembly. Fresh felafel was savory, real Lebanese style pickles, and I had some kind of cucumber salad on top that was to die for. Garlic sauce is recommended, owner is a sweetheart.
Decent food at a good price; the chicken kebab and the kofta kebab plates are pictured. The chicken kebab was a little dry and slightly under seasoned, and the kofta kebab was standard with a good portion size. The Baba Ganoush and hummus were good, but the pita was really thin and somewhat dry. I would say this is one step below Cafe Agora or Ameers Mediterranean Grill, but its still a good option if youre in the area.
Yo... this is the place TO BE. Some of the best food Ive had in a while. Ordered the chicken over rice bowl and the lamb biryani. Everything is extremely flavorful and these folks have the perfect rice to meat ratio. Even the vegetables, which are usually thrown in as an afterthought, have some astounding flavor. The staff is INCREDIBLY kind and brightens your day from something as simple as placing your order. Right next to the Masjid so you know theyre cooking for their entire community.Thank you Tannour for providing me with the best meal during my first day in Atlanta.
Very very good! I got the goat biryani and falafel plate. Both were excellent. Biryani was prepared fresh. I could watch it being stir fried. Wonderful flavor. Place was clean. Staff was friendly and masked. Id for sure say give this place a try of youre in the area and love Indian/Lebanese!
The food is phenomenal and the people who run it are really nice! Reminds me of some of the family owned small restaurants back in Greek town when I used to live in Baltimore. Although, this isnt just Greek food but also a lot of other delicious Mediterranean food too.
Its very difficult to get an excellent rating from me, but we were blown away. Best hummus I have EVER tasted! Food was super fresh, staff was very helpful and we loved every bite! I had the lamb shank and it was fork tender and had amazing flavor. Baklava melted in our mouths... The restaurant is very clean and chic. Dine in, take out or have a service deliver to you. Definitely will be returning!
Am so disappointed, went yesterday with my wife and my children, there is new owner in the restaurant, i swear the food is really bad , doesn’t test well at all , food was cold , doesn’t cooked well , very chewy meat , some is burned but still not cooked well , only reason i eat is , i was very hungry. thanks .
I am not sure about the old food reviews but this restaurant is not okay at all.I ordered three plates , shaved chicken and beef and two wraps. The rice was burned in one of the plates I ordered. Also, it seems they decided to stop giving the sides as in the menu and they will charge you extra of you ask for the sides.
The person was newer but did order in advance and it wasnt started until we got there We were traveling through So I was trying to save time by ordering ahead of time. The food was ok. The lamb, beef and chicken was freshly shaved. A little bit hard to access off a busy road for a traveler especially, overall experience not bad.
Delicious and clean. They use disposable plates/bowls. Student discount 👌 and daily lunch specials with good deals.. breads are fresh unlike many places.. portions are big enough to full a big stomach 🤭 I’ve tried several food here and they are all good. Baklava is not my favorite here, though. You should try Tannour if you haven’t already. Probably you will like it 😋
I am new to the Denver area and was thrilled to find this restaurant! The lamb/beef with rice entree was exceptional. The meat was succulent, cooked to perfection and almost melted in my mouth. The grilled flavor really comes through. I enjoyed the rice, as well - were those juniper berries? So tasty! The hummus was creamy, just how I like it. I also appreciated the yogurt beverage - it did compliment the meal perfectly. The best meal Ive had in a long time where everything was excellent. Thank you so much!
Thoroughly enjoyed eating here, they have very authentic food. The prices are reasonable, portions are large, and the food is pretty clean and nutritious. I would have paid a couple bucks more given the quantity and flavor of the food. The staff were extremely friendly and offered to remake a plate after I miscommunicated sauces and they put dairy products which I am allergic to. I recommend the plate option with the mixed toppings and hummus as the sides. Thanks for an awesome dinner!
I always have great experiences here! Fresh, tasty food (thats actually pretty healthy depending on what you get). The employees are always friendly too. Great value for your money (especially with the 10% student discount) AND they give you biodegradable takeout cartons. Highly recommended!
Great place to have lunch. The young lady who waited on us was very, very, very nice. The restaurant was clean and we arrived right after the lunch crowd but not long after we sat down to eat another crowd came in. The food was excellent and fresh. I would take my family and anyone here to eat. Please dont change your recipes very good food and very generous helpings.
If you are looking for Lebanese cuisine, this is NOT the placeFood: I ordered Kafta... they were the worst I have ever had. They were out of bread, out of chicken. They did not have garlic. Tabouli had no tomato. The owners seem of Indian/Pakistani descent. I love Indian food but they cannot cook Mediterranean.Service: horrible - we came at 9:40pm. They close at 10:00pm. We ordered for 5 people. At 10:10pm the lady said in not a nice tone, we closed 5 mins ago, can you hurry.I just don’t know how places like this stay open.
The food was excellent! No two dishes tasted the same. They use by far the biggest scoopers to serve you super sized portions for your money. If youre a vegan and trying mediterranean for the 1st or 2nd time, dont worry. Theyll explain every dish to you so you can rest assure that youre not consuming meat or dairy. Ill definitely be back for more real soon.
Truly waste of time and money. The worst chicken I ever ate. We were in the city for just two days and it completely destroyed our second dinner there. I really dont get it how this place can rank this high, halal restaurant must stop using muslim community to boost their rankings!
Very nice cozy spot. Always great to have a halal option. We ordered the rice bowl with shredded chicken, rice bowl with kebab, and lentil soup. The rice bowls were good, was expecting a little more flavor. Honestly it tasted better the next day. The lentil soup was not what I expected, it needed more flavors. Will come back again and try different things.
We found the restaurant through Google it was our first time there the cashier was so professional and she provide an excellent customer Service it was late at night and we just stop by to check the prices she explain all the menu and give us free samples to taste highly recommended place and very reasonable prices definitely I Will go back again
I had the falafel plate. The falafel and rice were good, pita was average, and the tabbouleh salad was pretty rough chopped parsley without a whole lot of the other ingredients that make tabbouleh tabbouleh - missing lots of bulgur wheat, tomato, and mint. Recommending the garlic sauce. Ill try something from here again but I wont get tabbouleh.
I used to love this place and how fresh and delicious the food is. But it looks like it got sold and the owners are different, they even added Indian food with the “Lebanese”? Service was horrible, quality of the food was absolutely sad, and it doesn’t look clean AT ALL. hate to see a good restaurant go this bad.
I had the shaved chicken wrap, with hummus and baklava. All very good and authentic, having been to the Mediterranean before. Spiced wonderfully. The gentlemen working there (owner I believe) was so extremely friendly, it was ridiculous. He even gave us some free baklava. Great man. Great food. Highly recommend.
This place is awesome! Went here with my girlfriend Saturday. I love Mediterranean food, but she wasnt that big of a fan of it. And she loves it now. Or she just loves Tannour grill, I dont know. Their hummus is so good, you would want to bathe in it. And the service is great. Very friendly people.
The manager was a little rushed and stressed due to the line, and slightly messed up our order, but the cashier was very friendly and made everything right. The food was delicious and wholesome, and the portion sizes were very filling. Would recommend to anyone interested, and we will definitely be going back of we get the chance.
The chicken kebab, chicken shawarma & hummus here are great, and you get a good amount of food for a not-expensive price. (They let you add on meat for not too much $ if youre extra-hungry!) Service very good too. Not fancy or anything, but thats not what I go to restaurants for.
This place is amazing. The food was delicious, and the service was great (super friendly and helpful!). I drove into town with a friend to make an Ikea run. Since we are unfamiliar with the area and wanted to make a quick turn around for our day trip, we stopped here because it was closeby after shopping, before heading back on the road to beat traffic. I had the falafel plate (sooo good with tzatziki and spicy sauce on top!) with fatoush, and friend had the chicken plate with tabouleh. It was so yummy. I plan to return here as part of any future Ikea trips!
Small and nice restaurant. The folks who run it are pretty nice and courteous. They have a special Mutton Biriyani which runs on Friday, Sat, Sun. It was extremely delicious and flavorful with tender mutton pieces. This unlike a Indian biriyani is not spicy but is flavorful and mild. The lady serving was nice and gave a couple of salads and hummus too.Ive tried the shawarma and kababs too. Kababs were juicy as well. Shawarma was good, could have been a bit more juicier. The kubz( bread) could be steamed slightly before serving as that is a bit dry.
Excellent food. Authentic, fresh made in front of you. The falafel was amazing as was the hummus. The babaganoush was out of this world. Just a small place with limited seating but clean and very friendly. The owner was helpful and so friendly. Must try the baklava. My oh my!
The food was horrible. I ordered lamb but they feed me more chicken then lamb. But hey that was fine because the chicken actually tasted better anyway. But that wasnt the problem while sitting talking a BIG ROACH was crawling up the chair, and the only thing they could say was that never happened. I will ever eat at this place again. For 50 bucks never again.
You MUST eat here. Well, only if you want to have food that is lovingly prepared by people who truly care about what they serve and your enjoyment. Seriously- so helpful and willing to accommodate any special request.Delicious, especially the babaganoush! I will be stopping in to buy several quarts before I leave town. No promises on whether any will survive the 8 hour drive! The portions are more than generous, so bring a big appetite!
Great food at reasonable cost. There is a special every day of the week. Be sure to bring your debit card or credit card, cash isnt accepted. Very friendly staff and fast service. Good loyalty program, too, which gets you freebies if you visit multiple times and willing to enroll with a phone number to receive text messages.
So, their customer service is terrible. They thought it was funny to be out of 2 items for a postmates order. Plus, when I walked in & said hi, he said nothing back. Maybe in the country youre from, its cute or funny to carry on this way. In America, great customer service gets you far.
I ordered delivery from here today via Door Dash. It was probably one of the worst lunches I’ve had in a while. My order was wrong and the shawarma plate didn’t look like any shawarma I had ever had. It was bland and extremely unappetizing. I was really disappointed since there were really good reviews for this place.
Great, fresh food. You can watch how your falafel is fried and it is served so fresh that the tahini still sizzles when it hits the crisp falafel. Rice is perfectly cooked, tabbouleh so fresh and citrusy that I could not make it any better, the beans are tasty and the salad in tahini a revelation to the western world. Now add friendly service, biodegradable dishes, and good tea to have a wonderful and fast food experience.-> They dont accept cash!
Great place to enjoy Mediterranean/Lebanese food. Kabob, Kafta, Falafel in a bowl, a wrap or on top of rice. Babaganouse or hummous on the side with spiced onions, lettuce or tabouleh. Very good for lunch or dinner.Priced well for the amount and deliciousness of food. The food is Halal, meaning is it not processed but from local farms or farm raised straight to the restaurant.Good place and must give a try.
The falafel was decent, the humus was ok, it seems like it came from a container not homemade. The pita was lackluster. The guy working there was very nice and I wanted to leave a good review but the food just wasnt convincing enough. I also desperately wanted to find a good falafel restaurant on the west side so I didnt have to drive across town to Babylon café on Cheshire Bridge Road. This place unfortunately isnt worth not making the trip.
Clean,Fresh, friendly ,Quality food . The plate of beef shawerma was great .the plate is more choices than the sandwich for me , this is my third visit and I am happy with the falafel, chicken and beef platters. I will definitely go back and highly recommend it ......get a sample first of the choices of meet for your shawerma, a combo of tabbouli , hummos, 1 falafel and the amazing bread was great ...all for less than $12 dollars .
F#%+ING PHENOMENAL! Everything here is fantastic. I’m not even really all that into Mediterranean food normally (except for falafel, which I do really love a lot) but Tannour Grill really blows me away every time I eat here. It’s like magic...I just really don’t know how he makes everything so delicious. Inexpensive and healthy too.
I have been to this restraint nemerous times. I work down the street since the first time walking in I received horrible service. The worker barely understands my order and has an attitude. The first time was fine the second time the worker had a horrible disgusting attitude I let that slide the third time the food was bad. I thought I would give my Muslim brothers another chance but this fourth and final time I received my order in a Dirty plate. I will never return again to this place. I would love to rag on these people but I will not do that. I am sorry brothers but u lost a customer for life. The food is OKAY not the best but nothing compared to the pippin pita grill next door. I am sorry but the nasty stained to-go plate was the last straw in the bunch of straws I had given them. I would reccomend skipping out on this one restaraunt and just go somewhere else. Shukran.
A comparatively less know Mediterranean place. Have options of bread/rice/lettuce with chicken, kebab and falafel. Its a really good place to take a quick bite. I would definitely recommend Tuesdays lunch plate which comes with chicken over rice and sauces of your choice and two sides ( I would highly recommend their grilled vegetables in white sauce).
This new business is a really nice place to grab a quick lunch. It seems like a Middle Eastern Chipotle to me.Its worth the money and worth the trip. Chicken shawerma is a beast. Hummus is one of the best in Atlanta. They have Taboula Fantastic salad. They have student discount which is really appealing, big thumbs up for that!Friendly staff, big thumbs up for that team.
Having eaten at many Mediterranean restaurants, I can say that this place serves fresh and authentic food. Chicken shawarma, kofta kabobs, baba ghanoush, and hummus all taste fantastic. A plate of meat and rice, salad, and choice of baba ghanoush or hummus can be ordered for $9.99 or less. Very filling, and 15% discount is offered if you are a GT student. Staff was friendly and helpful in answering any questions we had. Probably my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Atlanta!
If I could give this place ten stars, I would.Im a falafel fanatic, so thats about all I can comment on about this place food-wise. Ive been to Chicago, New York, Dallas... No one beats the falafel at this place. Out of this world.Ive been eating this falafel for months, but tonight I finally had the chance to meet the chef. Nicest dude youll ever meet. If a chef is the soul of a restaurant (which I believe it is), Tannour is in good standing with this guy. Give him a raise, Tannour, if you know whats good for ya.
I loved the food , I have been eating Mediterranean food for quite some time , this is by far the best one , fresh , taste great , perfect balance of spice , rice and meat are so delicious, better than any gourmet food that I tried, I wish I lived in Atlanta to eat this food constantly, owner is very pleasant and who ever served us , Tounissian lady treated us like family

2022-05-13#1 Mediterranean food Ive tried. Meat was fresh with a delish sear. Their cilantro side is amazing sauce and the hummus was great. The person that took our order was kind and knowledgeable with great recommendations for sides and satisfying hot sauces 🙏. This place deserves a 5.0!Just discovered something: put some beef on the bread with hummus and the cilantro salad with hot sauce on top and be prepared for bliss.

2022-06-11Came on a whim and was not disappointed! Host was so helpful and kind, and took the time to explain the menu and answer questions. Veggies were fresh and the meat was seasoned perfectly. And some of the best rice I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back!

2022-06-14This place has a friendly staff, but the food is not that tasty. I ordered the chicken kabob platter and was shocked at how little chicken I was given. It was stuck on a stick and it was dry and hard. The pita bread was so hard I could have made a custom made hat out of it. I have eaten much better pita bread out of super markets, so why is it that their bread is tasteless? The other thing is is it does not have servers, so once you pick up your order, you are on your own. This restaurant has potential, but it will need to improve the quality of the food and spruce up the ambiance by adding artwork to the walls. Until that happens, I cant go back. If they want to see a good restaurant model for middle eastern fast food, they should check out Luna Grill in San Diego. It is a very successful middle Eastern fast food restaurant and I always know the quality of their food will be top notch.

2022-03-06Was looking for an alternative of halal guys and found this awesome place. The service is good and I think its family owned and so its a little bit of a wait during peak hours to get your food but they try their best. Seen a lot of college crowd here.Food taste just fresh and delicious. Id recommend lamb or beef shawarma. The wraps and plates are equally delicious because of the freshness of the bread when I tried here. The portion sizes are also decent. Be sure to checkout their Mediterranean desserts like bakalawa and falooda. They had to raise their prices due the pandemic but its still value for money. The place itself is a bit small but Ive seen a group of 10 people having dinner joining the tables. Id recommend this place if you want to have a quick bite. Support local since theyre maintaining the food quality.

2022-05-29This place is amazing! I got the chicken shawarma plate and my friend got the falafel plate. We shared all the plates and salads and every one was so great. Highly recommend getting the homemade mango lassie as well for the drink! Really large servings and good prices.

2021-04-22Great Mediterranean food, good vegetarian options. They freshly fry the falafels and have gyro meat that you can see. Freshly shaven and shredded. The sauces are 😲
