Target Optical in other cities:
This review is for the employee named Jessica. I have been going to this location for years, the optometrist is amazing. However, it appears that Jessica needs remedial training in customer service. All of the other employee I have dealt with throughout the years have been nothing but nice and respectful. My son had an eye appointment scheduled after school, due to after school activities he was 6 minutes late and Jessica said “You know your six minutes late, you can’t sign in without a parent, reschedule.” I was around the corner to meet him there since he was able to drive himself there after school. I’m sure if he was an adult the 6 minute delay would not have been a problem. It’s disgusting that an adult would do that and be so rudely dismissive. If she spoke to my son that way I’m sure she has done it before to others. It’s unfortunate because that was my go to optometrist for me and several family members. Due to Jessica’s actions they have lost several loyal customers due to her rudeness and unprofessionalism.
I will never ever return to target optical again I had an awful experience I was told I had cataracts and macular degeneration and that I would be legally blind in 5 to 6 years gave me a referral to a retina specialist group and gave me a prescription for new glasses I went to my car in total distress and just felt something wasn’t right immediately went to an ophthalmologist I’m not gonna disclose his name however they did scans on my eyes and another eye exam after completion the doctor shook his head and told me he said number one you do not have macular degeneration he said there is no way to determine that without an in-depth exam he said you don’t even have the beginnings of cataracts and he said that my prescription had I gotten it filled in new lenses he said you would’ve been legally blind because it was not correct he put in the data from the prescription I was given in the data of the new prescription and it was drastically different I am so mad at this optical place inside target I can’t even begin to describe how dissatisfied and how unqualified the person was legal action may be pending on this one
I stopped by to see what my prescription itself would cost. The person I spoke to was very rude & disrespectful telling me she knew what type of lenses I had & that she was busy I kindly left without saying a word ,but my 2 children that were with me noticed her attitude and asked why she was so rude when all I did was ask a quI would not recommend this place at all. I much rather deal with nicer people with manners & care for you & what works than to deal with thisnattitude....never going back
My wife went here to get an eye exam and some contacts. The exam went well, they said they ordered contacts and they should be here in a week. That should be the whole story. Two weeks later and we have no contacts so my wife goes back to the store to check on them. Turns out they were never ordered and they insisted that we hadn’t paid for them (Which we did) and had to pay for them again. So now it’s almost a month later and we’re waiting for contacts we’ve had to pay for twice now.
Terrible! The only reason they received 1 star is so that I could write the review. Although standard anti-reflective is included in my insurance at no additional cost, I was charged for premium anti-reflective. The Sales Assoc did not make us aware of this. I found out after I called to discuss the charges. Typically, when a product or service is not covered by your insurance, the provider will let you know giving you the option to decline or accept, but not here. She also went ahead and charged me anyway for another service I declined. Also, frames were supposed to be $0 out of pocket, but I was charged for them too. Now on today, the 10th business day since our visit, my sons frames are STILL not in and they tell me he has to come back in to be re-fitted because measurements were wrong, and they allegedly left a message stating so. Funny, because I have no missed call or voicemail from Target Optical. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! AND there are optical centers that do not charge you for a 1 year warranty on your glasses...this was my first but last time using Target Optical.
I am so impressed with Dr. Kristy Le. She took so much time with me and listened to my issues I was having with redness around my eyes. She opened a magazine and pointed to it and told me this is what I believe you have. Within 3 - 4 days the redness went away and I felt beautiful again. She is so knowledgeable in so many ways. I am so thankful that she is my eye doctor. :) I highly recommend her. You will not be sorry.
If you want a extremely rush eye exam and satisfied your kids with a pair of eye glasses even they dont necessary need one, that the place you should visit! When I scheduled an appointment, I asked whether we could have 3 exams done before 5:45 to 6:00pm. The lady said it should be okay as each appointment is about 20 minutes. So I scheduled for 4:30pm for my 3 kids, the next day she called to postpone it 5:00 which I find out she squeezed in another appointment before me who needed to get out to the same event later. I would say the optician spend no more than 10 minutes for my 11 and 9 year old. She told me my older one DEFINITELY need a pair of eye glasses even she has a really mild prescription 0.5 & 1.0. My daughters also told me she RUSHED them made a decision of which lens they saw better without giving them a second chance to look. After the optician took my 6 year for < 5 minutes, her 6:00 appointment came in which is about 5:25pm at that time. The lady outside is about to write down the next customers number and promised to call her when the optician was available. But the optician popped out immediately and told her next customer she will be ready in 5 minutes. I gave her a look and she said she will be done in about 10 minutes. Finally, in another 3 minutes, she told me that I needed to bring my 6 year old back for a free exam in 4 to 6 weeks and didnt bother to give me any explanation. I was confused and kept bugging her why, she lastly told me he is too young for the exam. But all I can tell is SHE DOESNT HAVE PATIENCE AT ALL. I have filed a complain to my insurance company. If it is possible, I would not give her any star for her service. REALLY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATING. Their focuses are so clear, all their customers need to buy a pair of eye glasses from their shop.

2022-03-31(Acworth Location) Dr. Kristy Q. Le was excellent! I have to admit I was nervous as this was my first time seeing the Dr. My old eye doctor had sold his practice and I had been with him for over 8 years. I had read the rave reviews and felt confident the Dr would be wonderful and she was. She took time to explain to me some eye terms and answer my questions about aging eyes to help me prepare for the future. She reviewed my records and understood I wanted to keep the same brand of contacts. Her staff were amazing from assisting me at check-in to checkout! Highly recommend! I was able to get my contact prescription that very day! Better yet, a 6 month supply was on sale & saved me ordering online and worrying they would get lost in the mail. I checked out glasses too but didnt have time to pick one out since I was on my lunch break and had to get back to work :) They have a great selection of styles, colors, and prices.

2022-04-30The staff is hilarious and efficient. They invited me with a warm welcome. Honesty I stumbled in the store unsure if I wanted to get new glasses and a exam. I thought it was going to be a long boring process. However it was a quick and painless process. I even find my favorite style of Ray Ban Frames.

2022-09-21My experience at the target optical in Acworth store number 2154 in Georgia, was nothing short of phenomenonal . As I have a condition called albinism when it comes to my glasses and choosing them if I’m to get the best results I need help when I tell you I had a young lady name Jessica that helped me so much and reassured me that I was going to have everything I need and they were gonna look good cause that was what I needed. when I tell you I got everything I need it through her helping me we chose my glasses and a pair from my husband and I’m so grateful, because he also love his glasses but I totally love mine and the way they fit the way they look at everything. As I was waiting for them to come back I was so excited so when I found out they were in and I came back and another young lady that was very kind to me Anna when I pick them up. So I think target optical is a very good place and I think their service is impeccable. Thank you

2022-06-09This crew really knows what theyre doing and will make sure you get the right glasses and the right fit for you so you can see (and look) great. Choosing frames can be daunting--for those of us who wear glasses all the time, they are the one thing people always see. Heather and the other ladies (I cant remember everyones name) are so patient and are totally up front about what looks good on you and what doesnt. Its like having a bestie who wont let you walk around with spinach in your teeth. ?Orders also tend to come in even faster than they promise. Great experience!

2021-12-22I had my eye exam on December 14th 2021. My appointment confirms that I was going to meet Dr. Le. After going there I realized she wasn’t there. Someone else was there for my eye exam. Based on the Dr. Le’s review alone I booked my appointment at that location but they didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me in advance saying that she wasn’t available that day. It was really a disappointment for me. At least please be frank with the Dr. Le’s availability with future patients. Anyone feels that their eyes will be examined by a good doctor, but that hope itself isn’t fulfilled during my visit. Office staff treated me with great respect and She was really helpful.

2021-12-22I have been a client of Dr Le for several years and find her to be both professional and personable. I have absolute confidence in her, and appreciate her candor and diagnosis. I went for my bi-annual appointment today and was met with an officious woman telling me that masks were required to be in the office. We are two years in on this virus, we know a great deal about it and have all made our choices and decisions as to how we deal with it. The parent company that is requiring this is not only doing a disservice to their clients, they are actively ignoring reality. If you want to wear a mask, then wear a mask. Otherwise, accept the fact that the rest of us have done the risk assessment and we do not need to be muzzled in our day to day lives. If you want to have paying customers, then accept that some will and some will not wear masks to deal with a virus that at this point is the equivalent of a cold.
