I got the grilled chicken bowl with garlic sauce. So good.. ingredients were fresh and it was a good amount of food for 10.99. Def will come back to try other items.
We stopped by after reading reviews. Small place with extremely good food. Fresh made and served hot with a lot of condiments. No less in quality than any high-end restaurants.
Get the salad trio, great deal and you get to have a nice variety. First trip, had that and the Spicy Chicken. Will go back!! PERFECT to-go food for outside concerts, picnics and days spent by the water!!
This new gas station takeout place has more class and customer service savvy than our 30+yr neighborhood liquor store I just reviewed. The food is delicious, authentic and provided by a beautifully charming family.
I could not believe that purchasing a cooked meal from inside a convenient store could be sooo good. We had to return the following day. Yes, theyre consistent, oh my that greek salad, that gyro, the chicken and shrimp kabobs were delicious.
This is a gem - in the most unexpected place in smyrna Vinings area on south atlanta road in the Shell station Mini store. Very fresh and tasty! Healthy and pretty. Mother /daughter team at work. Lebanese type menu plus gyros , sandwiches and pasta! A great nearby to go!
Taza Grill doesn’t miss. Had the Falafel Gyro and the 🍋 lemon cake and they were both very tasty!
I had seen this place before as I had driven by it but never had thought to order until I saw a special come across on UberEats. Very happy I did because the food quality and portion was really good! We ordered late night, right before it closed, so they were out of one of the side items and the staff was kind and courteous to call me to talk through other available options. That customer service helped me seal the deal and will definitely continue to order from here! Great place!
Taza Grill has truly become one of my family’s favorite places to order both dinner and lunch. We typically get the chicken shawarma and falafel bowl. All are very well prepared and packaged. The food itself is truly authentic, and the customer service received is always outstanding. I’m happy they’re located in such a convenient location, and I look forward to spreading the word and going back for more great meals😀
Absolutely delicious. We got the chicken and kofta dinner plates and it was delicious. The chicken was moist and flavorful, the kofta was perfectly spiced (slightly drier than Id prefer, but still great - especially with the tzatziki) and the rice was full of flavor. It was a LOT of food, so after enjoying the Greek salad side, I had half my food left. The baklava had good filling, but I prefer my pastry dough to be soaked with honey/sauce and it was a bit dry.Definitely check it out - its great food and feels like a very family owned business that is putting their best foot forward. They deserve your patronage.
Legendary Mediterranean food. A must try if youre in the area, but theres no seating, so only takeout.
Great lamb gyros and they were so good that I went back two nights in a row. 😀 My only disappointment was with the rice pudding which had a very flowery taste that is not to my liking.
If you are looking for food that tastes home made and is prepared with care, you will find it in here. Everything we ordered was great, from the eggplant that was delicious and the beef kofta that was juicy, tender and tasty.Another day, we had the Spicy Garlic shrimp Linguine and it is better than the ones in an Italian Restaurant!The Creme Brulee Cheesecake is also so good, just the right level of sweet.Im really glad to have found this place.

This is such a great place as their burgers are the best. They have such an extensive menu with so many other great options as well.
I had the lamb gyro. It had a lot of sauce but I think that was to cover up for lack of flavor. It was right at $10 and okay size.

Honestly it’s 5 stars for the food- I have dined here 3x and have not had a bad meal- yet I have experienced horrible customer service- sadly this outweighs my next visit- please note the experience is just as important as the quality of the food you serve.
AMAZING!!! Don’t let the location fool you. The spicy chicken was delicious with the right amount of flavor and spice, delicious yellow rice with a hint of mint and a Greek salad. The gyro is tasty with cool tzatziki sauce, onion, tomato and seasoned fries. Homemade desserts with notable tiramisu, red velvet cake and Oreo cheesecake. We will definitely be back!!! Can’t wait to try everything.
One of my favorite places since they’ve opened . Great food & great people running a wonderful business . They’re so nice every time I come . If you’re wondering whether or not you should try it . DO IT! I recommend the Shrimp Scampi pasta but get it spicy !

Yummy yummy yummy. We grabbed some food to go on our way to the mountains and Im SO glad we stopped here. Delicious, fresh and flavorful, and all of the sauces were so fun! The family was very kind and well definitely be back the next time were nearby.
If youre looking for authentic Mediterranean food this is the place for you. They do make everything from scratch and they do not cut corners. These folks actually used to have a very popular restaurant downtown years ago. I used to eat lunch there everyday when I worked downtown and I was thrilled when I found out they opened this place. You really should give it a try; you wont regret it!
Brand new Mediterranean place on Atlanta Road between Smyrna and Vinings. It is really fantastic. Food is fresh and authentic, and the portions are great. Most importantly, the owners seem like great people who really care about the food they make. We highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner (and I understand they may start breakfast soon). We’ll be back regularly!
EXCELLENT. I swear we go here once a week now. Hidden gem inside a gas station! Fresh, and oh so flavorful. I tend to get the chicken shawarma bowl but dont be fooled... for a Mediterranean restaurant the Spicy Shrimp Scampi is also heavenly comfort food! havent been disappointed in one thing yet!

My wife had noticed this newly opened restaurant near our home so we thought we would give it a try. We ordered Gyros and sides of their Taza salad, pasta salad and fries. Everything was excellent! The grill is very modern, well appointed and clean. The gracious lady that took our order and put together our food was very skilled and efficient.
Service was fantastic, fast, and friendly. Food was phenomenal at a great price. Ordered the lamb shank special, rice and salad. Cannot stress how impressed I was with the kitchens cleanliness, use of fresh ingredients, and quality of the final products this business is serving. Will ABSOLUTELY return to try their menu in depth. Highly recommend to everyone.

The food here is amazing. I got the chicken salad on a croissant and my wife got the falafel bowl. Both were extremly good. Ill definitely be returning. This is my new favorite place. I can not wait to try the other dishes they have. The staff goes above and beyond and is very personable and friendly. I cant wait to visit again.
I had the beef burger with the Taza sauce and it was delicious. The meat was fresh and juicy just the way I like it plus that Taza sauce was amazing😋 its homemade and it gave a nice touch to the burger. Definitely coming back, you won’t be disappointed.
I was on the fence about trying this place because it’s in a gas station. However, Taza Grill is 5 stars across the board. The lady taking orders is so nice, knowledgeable and friendly. My co-worker and I thoroughly enjoyed our food! It was so fresh and so delicious. This place is a must try!!!

I have never left a review for any restaurant before - but this place was just too good to remain a hidden gem. Fresh, healthful, delicious home made Mediterranean food including the best chicken shawarma in all of Atlanta - and I have tried them all. I was a bit skeptical about the gas station location but a convincing recommendation from someone sparked my curiosity.We got the chicken shawarma, Taza burger, grape leaves, fries, rice pudding and a moist semolina cake. We also got a bit of Tabbouli and it was hands down the best Tabbouli I’ve had. Every single item was so delicious we demolished it all in minutes. I highly recommend this place and I know I will be going back again.If you are looking for a local, family run eatery with a high quality ingredients, delicious Mediterranean flavors and reasonable prices - this place is for you.

Chicken shawarma is delicious, had this flavorful grill edges on crust with a garlic salt the tzatziki had this tangy flavor, that homemade spice hot sauce went great with the pita and hummus. Oh you know Im coming back

Wow! The food is so delicious! I was blown away how salads that seemed so simple (in terms of ingredients) could taste so good - e.g. spinach, olive oil and feta. Whoa. And oh the sauces!! Such nice folks too.

The gyro & fries were delicious. The fries were still slightly warm when I got home in Douglasville. The Greek salad looks amazing even though I dont like olives & my husbandhasnt tried it yet(lunch for tomorrow). My daughter got the linguine bolognese, which was pretty good. I can definitely go back, hopefully not during rush hour traffic though.

2022-05-05Yea, I was expecting the world given the high reviews. But, this place was meh and just okay - I wouldn’t say it’s worth all the ratings it has gotten. The baba vanish and hummus is good. Lamb/beef shawarma wasn’t great - tasted dried out and not as flavorful as expecting and quantity didn’t seem up to par. Chicken taza spicy was not bad and okay. Rice was okay. Garlic sauce was good but I was only able to get one packet and the menu shows they can charge $.50 for more packets. Tzaki sauce was good too. To improve, I would like to have the amount of sauces to be to be customer prefer - someone want their dish more sauce and cream and others want less calories. I think Halal Guys, though further away, is much better value in terms of protein provided and they also do it to your taste/preference for sauce and spice/heat. Wait for food was about 20 more minutes than I would have thought expected for takeout place. Customer service here is good though.

2022-01-31I know this is a Mediterranean spot, but I happened to get the spicy shrimp pasta and it was phenomenal! As good or better than any fancy Italian restaurant that Ive been to. I stopped here randomly for lunch and knew I was gonna have a great day after eating this delicious meal. Do not underestimate this spot because its connected to a gas station.

2022-05-07I really like this place. The owner works in the kitchen herself and I often have conversations with her about her food. The hummus is one of the best that I have ever eaten. My son likes the hummus as well. The food is always fresh and of high quality. Taza offers a good selection of salads that look to be freshly prepared each day! No wilted greens or soggy fruit. I highly recommend eating here.

2022-03-11Gross! I wasn’t crazy about the food to begin with. Bought a shrimp po boy and it was pretty greasy but let it slide given the price point. I was finishing up my Cesar salad when I look down and see a dead fly sprawled on my salad. Not a good look. Disgusting and do NOT recommend.

2022-04-23I loved it here!! I’ve been looking for an authentic, Mediterranean place in Atlanta & Taza Grill definitely didn’t disappoint! I had the lamb kebab with rice, Taza salad & hummus. I got garlic, taziki & chili sauces as well. Everything was so flavorful!! The lamb was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, the salad was fresh and delicious, the hummus was amazing & came with freshly grilled pita bread & the rice was delicious as well! My friend got the chicken kebabs and enjoyed his food, too. I highly recommend! Don’t let the gas station location prevent you from giving it a try!

2022-04-18100 stars for customer service.The staff is super helpful, one day me and my wife decided to try out the restaurant but we were late to reach there and the staff were almost done with wrapping up the kitchen. My wife is 8 months pregnant and the staff was so understanding they specially open the closed kitchen and prepared the order for her.The food was amazing too but more than food I was overwhelmed with the gesture we received there.

2022-08-14This walk up is In the Shell gas station and the people who work there are very friendly ….I was trying to decide what to eat for dinner and smelling the delicious aromas made my decision. I got a gyro and fries with cheese and tzakiki sauce…absolutely yummy! I would definitely go back! Go try it!

2022-08-23Had my “favorite” Mediterranean dessert (baklava)…PERFECT proportion size! Most Mediterranean restaurants serve their’s really thin. Taza has the perfect proportion size just the way it should be. But the baklava was EXTREMELY DRY!! I guess you have to order it “fresh”…..was under the heating container way too long!! EXTREMELY disappointed!….The chicken salad bowl was delicious though!Will absolutely go back, but will not order the baklava! 😏
