My son is three years old and was put to sleep and crowns on his teeth as if the cavity teeth would fall out soon enough. I was not properly informed. And the Dr. Tebos bedside manners are absolete and scary. He seemed so angry that he didnt want to answer my questions. Its apparent that sucking money out of a three year old child was an ease. I would not refer anyone, especially a first time mother to this business. I was deceived and treated poorly. I will have this issue rectified.
Came a day before for an evaluation so expecting all questions were asked and everything was setup for the next day we come in today at 11am told us we just have to wait only 30 minutes but ended waiting two hours and in those two hours had more questions about my son previous surgery to just to tell me he can’t be seen today because they want to do oral anesthesia correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t that what the evaluation was for the day prior so this wouldn’t be an issue? I missed work and my son missed school for absolutely no reason extremely unprofessional way of handling the situation
This place is a nightmare from the front desk personal to everything else. RUDE RUDE RUDE GIRLS UP FRONT The nastiest attitude ever.My kid dentist 🦷 oops not any more I’m happy 😃 I stop 🛑 taking my kids to tebo dentist, every single time I took my kids to Tebo dentist they find some thing wrong with my kid teeth 🦷 now I start taking my kid other place everything got normal.
I highly recommend this office they have one of the best Customer service they r very Polite, Very ethical They have one of the best staff an dentist in all of Georgia,My daughter was very well taken care of when she got her oral surgery from the beginning to the very end she was fine she was never nervous the anesthesiologist he is one of the best everyone in the office were just excellent love this place
Please do not have a credit on your account because they do not want to give it back to you . I was issued my credit after 3 years (2019) to an old FSA account that I used. I told them before it was issued that I no longer had the account but they refunded it to the card anyway. Now I have to figure out how to get it back. Poor customer service. Tebo needs not to be so cheap and issue a check back to their clients when they are overpaid.
This company is selfish, greedy, and treats everyone poorly. That includes their patients and their employees. I normally never write a review, but I have to tell people to stay away. Just like you, I ignored the negative reviews. The fact that it’s been 2 months since someone left one, something is happening…I rather go to a dental place in a retail store than deal with this company. I just know however they reply, your words are worthless. Have a great day!
We went to this office about a week ago. My daughter had some work done on her teeth and did not have local anesthesia put on her before they started work because they thought she didn’t need it mind you she’s 7 yes old. Once they worked on her without anesthesia the doctor had the nerves to give my daughter a choice of she wanted anesthesia on the top where she was going to work on next. That shouldn’t even been a question asked automatically they should have known she needed it if she had been hurting from the one before. We had such a bad experience and never will take any of my kids back to any of the TEBO offices. They get away with so many things it’s disgusting.
This office started as a great facility but has went downhill. My issues were completely dismissed- this office didnt care to apologize, attempt to rectify anything, and clearly did not care about losing 4 patients. Not to mention I was called a liar when I complained about one of my sons appointments being canceled, saying they never called to cancel anything even though I showed my phone records as proof. The staff here is very rude and I would NOT recommend this dentist to anyone.
I Love Coming to Tebo Originally my Daughter had to have sedation and a couple of her teeth removed we were nervous and scared. However Tebo helped made us feel safe & we knew we were in good hands. We recently returned for a f/u visit and I am actually thinking of making this our primary location
The staff is friendly but not the actual doctors. Dismissive of parent’s concerns. Lack of communication. Never any availability for appointments when the kids are out for break. They don’t care about the kids oral health but instead try to get the most money by doing unnecessary procedures on them.
I searched for a dentistry that allowed parents to go back with their kids while they are being treated. This was 14 years ago. Although they have changed within the 14 years, I still see them. I drive an hour past the airport to come. There are three negatives about them and they are: the office is like a factory. You are in and out like a number. Its not as warm as it was. Since Ive been coming for many years, some of the older staff members knows me and are warm. Which leads to number two. They constantly changing their staff. To a new person, that can be bad. Third, if you are more than ten minutes late, you will not be seen. However, I just talked with the receptionist/in take person (7/5/18), she said they dont give a grace period. If you have an appointment and get there on time, you are called back within five minutes. As I stated, I drive far now to get to them, therefore the service has to be that good. It is!
All I can say is....they treated my son who was so scared amazing! Dr Cole and Glori are the dynamic duo of 2021, I’m telling you this right now! They were able to complete all his treatment! In a timely manner too! They have the perfect personalities for children! The manager Veronica was so kind, kept me updated on how my son was doing the whole time. Those three eased my stress and my sons anxiety. Overall experience was 10/10 *chefs kiss* *chefs kiss*
They scheduled my daughter for the incorrect date after being informed that my daughter’s dentist was going to perform the procedure needed. They knew that my daughter’s dentist only comes in on Tuesday and Thursday. However no one at Tebo informed me of that until I confirmed the date and confirmed that my daughter’s dentist would be performing her surgery the day of her consultation. Because of the error now The date has to be pushed out another month. Due to them being booked. The communication sucks they act as if they don’t want to answer your questions. They act as if your not the one listening and grasping what’s being said. When they are the ones stuck on the one line they can’t get past. I wouldn’t refer my dog to this place!
I loved the first visit cause they explain every detail u need to know whats going on in ur childs teeth the have a greet recepionist and great doctors they are so kind couldnt been better loved it im definetley recomwnding this place they treat ur child like if it was there own child
I wish I would of knew what I know now. I use to think this dentist was so great for kids because they have video games, Tebo comes out and the reminders for your appointment. Now I know that this is just this company over compensating for what really matters. My kids starting coming here consistently since they were 2 years old now they are 10 and they wouldnt know us from the next patient they have coming in. Which at first wasnt that big of a issue for me until my daughter broke her tooth. Then I realized how much of a issue that really is because a dentist you been patronizing for 8 years would have more compassion for a child that broke her tooth but not Tebo why because you are only one of the many patients that come there. Not only did they not have compassion, empathy or any care in the world they just gave me a referral to a endodontics and not to specific one. So I voiced my concern to Tebos manager about how the staff didnt help me on this issue even though Ive been coming here for 8 years and her comment back was yea we just get so many patients with all different insurance so thats why. So thank you for proving my point in that matter that you should pick dental companies that care more about quality and not quantity because if someone tragic happens to your little ones tooth you will want a dentist who will actually care about getting that resolved. Not just shoving a paper in your hand and saying good luck on finding someone else who can fix it. Horrible practice!
Our experience with Tebo the first time was great. They used to allow parents to be with their children. That makes your child feel less nervous or scared but Now with so many rules, I dont feel comfortable leaving my child with people who I dont know. At the door they go through a questionnaire and even if you tell them you havent had any of those symptoms, they dont want you to wait in the waiting room instead, you have to go back to your car and waiting. Thats unacceptable!!!On 2/04/21 I took my children back for their 6 monthly dental check-ups and they were assisted promptly. It was a much better experience. Thank you for your quality service.
They were able to save my daughters teeth, I was so nervous at first DR.shaw was amazing at explaining the process, and working on her teeth. sedation is a scary thing but they took care of her, I’m happy with the results. They take great precautions in order to insure a safe and successful procedure, there’s a nurse on staff that walks you through the entire thing and does a physical to make sure The child is fit enough to with stand the procedure.
I was referred to Tebo for Sedation dentistry for my son. Prior to scheduling the appointment I confirmed that their anesthesiologist was in house and billed insurance. I was assured that both were true and I scheduled the appointment. I arrived 10 minutes early to an 8am consultation about the sedation and to go over the treatment plan. I was there for and hour and 15 minutes because for some reason the hygienist needed to come in and evaluate my sons teeth first, tell me everything she found in his xrays and exam and then the dentist came in and repeated, almost to the T the exact same thing the hygienist did. Then it was time for me to talk to the sedation coordinator. At that time I was informed that they do not bill insurance for sedation because the codes they use insurance doesnt take. I offered to call my insurance to work it out because I did confirm that they cover sedation dentistry prior to going to the appointment. The sedation coordinator then informed me that I did not need to call them because they would have to change their codes every time they would bill insurance! She told me I could get a care credit card! Billing and coding is an entire career field and you are telling me that you would rather have your customer go into debt /pay more because you are too lazy to figure out the proper code to use. That is not a limitation, that is a choice and a poor, money grubbing one. I pay a lot for really good insurance and you are just choosing to not use it for convenience reasons. If that is not a reason for everyone to never go to this place of business I dont know what is. They lie, over bill out of convenience, and do not respect your time. Oh and one last thing at the very end when I think am finally able to check out I am told that I still need to talk to the sedation nurse to check my sons height and weight to see if sedation will even be good for him! An hour and 15 minutes later, now you want to check to make sure he is eligible for the treatment plan? Run, do not walk away from this office!
I love the ladies that work in the Gainesville office, I do not care to much for the ones that work in the Lilburn office. I feel as if they could do a little better with their tone and wait times. I have been to the Lilburn location twice and both times were equally bad. The Lilburn location is the only location that does sedation so unfortunately I will have to go AGAIN and definitely not looking forward to it.
Dentist that we seen was wonderful for my 5 year old! She enjoyed him and the other nurses. A few days later my daughter had to be put to sleep for teeth work and I was informed about everything to help calm my nerves. They did a wonderful job. However there was one receptionist at the front desk that was rude and non informational. But other than her our experience was wonderful!
I would not recommend Tebo to Anyone. Especially, I don’t recommend to Indian people and community who mostly belongs to software industry.NO flexibility with schedule though your child has severe pain and have to go for surgery. They are a ripoff and say one thing one day and ask for a different amount the another day. But all wrong doing will be revealed if you go through the treatment plan completely, we were referred to Tebo for an IV sedation and surgery but there was an unwanted evaluation happened at Tebo just for the name shake and they did increase our bill to triple the times. So many unwanted space containers and crowns which is not needed for those extractions. My total amount got triple after my insurance which a normal people can’t afford as we are paying monthly insurance too. And also their insurance team is not having clear informations and they are not helpful. Especially, when you work with your insurance team they wont help you or show interest on you (lack of communication at their end always).don’t be afraid to ask questions about your bill. There is a saying - Don’t judge the book by its cover!! Here it is opposite don’t go with the initial kind words and the infrastructure they have, later you will feel the heat!! With their over planning especially, on the surgery/treatment plan which was happened to our scenario. Was very bad experience with them.
My daughter had to get sedated i was referred to tebo by my daughters primary dentist. I was very skeptical about the whole thing because my daughter has never been sedated and shes 6 yrs old but they explained everything from start to finish they made sure that I understood everything and repeatedly ensured me that they would take good care of my baby ( which they did) all the staffs I came in contact with were very professional and friendly. My experience was great I even thought about switching my kids to go there permanently 😊
The customer service and professional received is 0 stars. From the consultation to procedure, checking in and dealing with the billing reps sucked. Their employees are rude, not helpful, unprofessional, no customer service, or compassion. Guess I caught them on both bad days. The only friendly and compassionate people was the anesthesiologist and Dr Chong. They’re the only reason I’m giving them 2 stars.
We took our kids to the dentist for the first time and all I can say is that Tebo is awesome! From the first contact over the phone to the actual visit was a great experience. My 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter felt so comfortable and at home due to the professionalism and tender care they received from the staff! My wife and I are so glad that we chose Tebo for their dental care and lol forward to future visits. I highly recommend Tebo to any parent looking for excellent dental care for their children!
Today on a very busy day, while the team was behind in schedule. Not only were they very apologetic but they all were patient and understanding of my childs need. She was so fearful of going through the experience but the staff was determined to help us.....and they did! My child left the dentist dancing
We just moved down here from up north and I found and tried this place based off of the other google reviews and I’m so glad I chose it! All the staff is great from the receptionists up to the dentists. They are all kind and work great with kids. They explain everything they’re doing, every step of the way. They made me and my daughters comfortable. Even though they seem like they are busy and see a lot of patients, they never miss a beat with making you feel like you’re at home. You definitely won’t regret going here!
I am very satisfied with choosing them for my 2 year old dental needs. She had to receive sedation for dental work that would have been difficult without. The staff was detailed and very thorough throughout the entire process. I found them after having concerns with the procedures at another pediatric sedation center. The process was way more detailed and professional. The staff was very nice and informative. I’m an very pleased overall.
The staff is great! They were very kind to my girls. As a parent, I truly appreciate that they take the time to hire genuine people with a love for kids. I believe one of the ladies that helped my baby was Aquila I cannot say enough about her. She knew exactly how to speak to my 5 year old to comfort her while she was getting an extraction. I was so moved by her heart for children. I love this place!
My son had an appointment for extraction and sedation yesterday (3). I appreciated that every step was explained and that every change made was ran by me first. They did an excellent job and took care of my baby!! The anesthesiologist was awesome as well as the dentist. I recommend to people with small children. He was perfect the next day (today) for his fourth birthday.
For the most part, all the staff were kind and accommodating with my three young boys. They took the time to try and make sure my boys were comfortable and had a good experience. The only critique I would have is that there is a high volume of patients moving through there and sometimes I felt like we were just a number and they were sort of in and out quickly. I feel like they didnt really take their time to explain things thoroughly to us. They did answer my questions, but I still walked away feeling like they werent answered thoroughly. I did appreciate them making the experience a good one for my boys and we will definitely be going back.Update: After going back for fillings with my son, I changed my rating to 1 star. My son was having a hard time with the filling and the staff did not do anything to help calm his fears. They just kept trying to force the work on him and ended up refusing to complete it because he would not calm down. They referred us to a sedation dentist who ended up telling us they do not sedate for a single filling. We found a family dentist who really took the time to explain the process to my son and we were able to get the filling done a lot easier. Since our experience, I have heard many other stories like this from patients of Tebo.
If I could give them a zero I would. Professionally they are not equipped in their performance and letting you know whats is what. They will milk the hell outta you and your insurance.... Just go to another dental office or the dacula location. Never have I ever had a issue with them....
I highly recommend this amazing, kid-friendly dentistry! Ive been bringing my girls here since my 12 yr old was 2. The interactive experience with the gaming systems, theater, and appearances by Tebo leaves the kids feeling like they went on a playdate instead of a dentist visit. The staff is friendly and professional. Their services are great!
Best dentist hands down. The new thing is no parents in the back since covid.OMG that gives me serious anxiety but the dental assistant are really good with keeping you updated along the way. They are clean and efficient. Work is great quality care and speed. Amazing dental practice. Oh and the doctor is not afraid to tell you that your child/parent has not been giving enough attention to the teeth. LOL so embarrassing but needed 😃😃.
Not a fan. They do a poor cleaning job compared to other pediatric dentists. They dont give kids bags with toothbrush, toothpaste and floss like every other pediatric dentist. And honestly they order an excessive amount of procedures to be done under IV sedation but dont offer oral sedation. Which is crazy!!!Will be going back to Dr. Kwon even though we live further away now.
I love the office. Ive never had any problems with my son and everything has always run smoothly for his visits. The staff is friendly. I always refer people I know that is looking for a pediatric dentist that I would choose. The waiting area is so awesome the idea they come up with for the kids to keep them patient. My son looks forward to his vists every 6 monhs....lol....I would highly recommended. Thanks Tebo Dental your the best.
My daughter has been going to Tebo for many years. She recently got braces in October and has had the bracket break on 3 different occasions and all while eating soft foods. Its a huge inconvenience to continually keep returning for her ortho, cleanings and now brackets and not to mention the cost of having to replace the broken bracket each time. I feel they rush the procedures, but also the lack of communication as to what is occurring could help the parents more aware since we are paying for the treatment. Also be aware they expect you to leave your child while you wait in the car so there isnt any discussion of your childs treatment with the doctor.
If i could give zero stars i would, my kids will never go back to this place and i would never recommend them to anybody, they try to do as much as they can even if it is not necessary on your child just to run the bill up, and then they dont do their job right! My son had fill ins on his front teeth and a crown put in since they didnt do their job right he now has an infection and needs all three teeth extracted!!! Our new dentist asked where did i take my son to get work done cause they did a bad job when i said Tebo both the nurse and the doctor said oh! like this is a common thing with them. Take care of your children from this place they deserve better!
First time visit.... It was great!!! The staff and the Doctor seem very sincere and genuinely caring. The office is clean and close to my house. I am not sure how I am just finding out about this place. This was one of the best experiences my kids had at a dentist office. The only complaint they had was they didnt provide those dark sunglasses to prevent the bright light atop while laying down for treatments.
My child needed some cavities filled. Made three separate appointments finally got one nailed down. They said not to have him eat or drink anything after midnight. The appointment was at 11:30. Keep in mind he is 5. Drove 45 minutes out of our way to sit in the waiting room for two hours for them to tell us they were backed up. It is now 1:30 my child hasn’t eaten or drank anything since bed time. We will NEVER come back to Tebo. I do NOT recommend this establishment to anyone. It was a waste of my day and my child’s day!
Tebo dental is awful. The place is beautiful and so nice (Indian trail rd. Location) but the staff is horrific. I will NEVER recommend Tebo to anyone! Let me start from the VERY beginning, my daughter has gone to Tebo since nice her very first dental appointment. We truly thought they were amazing but then they told us my daughter needed four (baby) teeth filled, she was five at the time. So we made the appointment for them to do the fillings. No problem right? Wrong. They SAID she needed three teeth filled yet they only did one. That annoyed me but at the same time I was like cool only one needed to be filled. That’s great. We go in six months later and the number of teeth that needed to be filled DOUBLED! So we sought out a second opinion. Second and third opinion said she only needed ONE tooth to be filled only if it was bothering her. We go back to Tebo for our next appointment and even MORE teeth need fillings so they say. We went to a second opinion and the answer was the same as before, only one tooth if it was bothering her. They threatened to call dfax on us even after we seeked a second opinion. So let’s get to today, November 13 2020. My daughters filling, the one and only they did fell out. It freaked out my mom and daughter, I was at work. My mom told me she had tried to call Tebo several times but was always put on a hold (20mins) or hung up on. She then just decided to drive to the office, since the hours posted online stated they were open until 5 pm. She got there and they were nothing but rude to her. Yes she, my mom, was mad and yelling at them. But again they are threatening Dcfs! The office manager, Natalie put her hands on my child. My daughter told me she tried to move away and she grabbed her tighter. When she, Natalie, decided it was time they go she physically pushed my child out the door. Unacceptable. We then received two calls from the call center. We left our complaint and we were told a manger would call us back. Natalie did. The way she spoke to not only me but my mother was uncalled for. We will NEVER visit Tebo dental again and will be urging our friends and family to do the same so that they are not treated as we were.
I was about 20 minutes late today and one of the ladies told me I had to reschedule cause they were closing in 3 minutes I was telling them that my daughter really needed to be seen so one lady want in the back and talk with dentist and come back out and said the dentist would see her That was really nice of her Thank you for caring...🤗
Unprofessional, my 4 year daughter spent 6 moth with her father and came home with 4 cavities. I was referred to tebo. My first issue is that they schedule small children to be on empty stomachs late in the afternoon but i still kept my appointment. Due to the change in weather my daughter caught a cold. I expressed this to 2 separate people and the said to still bring her in. So upon arrival I expressed she had a cold they checked us in. By now my 4 yr old has been had nothing to eat for 16 hours. So after waiting another hour and 45 mins around 2:30 my daughter is in tears she was so hungry. Another 15 mins go by and we are finally called to the back. For the anesthesiologist not to see her because of her cold that I expressed she had to two separate people they still told me to come still told me everything was okay they said it was for her safety but if anything was for her safety her appointment would have been at 1 in the afternoon anything was for her safety when I express the first time that she had a cold they would have rescheduled when I came in for my pre-op and I express you had a cold they should have rescheduled not made my 4 year old child wait 17 hours. The be lied to that the anesthesiologist said 4 weeks by the girl in appointments when the anesthesiologist said 2 weeks. I was in the medical field at no point does it take 4 weeks go be completely clear of symptoms. Had she she said bring her next week or in 2 weeks I would be a little calmer but I put my daughter through something she didnt have to go through for nothing. I wont be going back and I dont suggest them. Some one will reply sorry but it was for her safety and I get that but you didnt think about her safety when you scheduled a 4 yr old at 1 in the afternoon then was an hour and 45 minutes late. You didnt think of her safety when I was told to come in and during her intake. All of that could have been prevented i expressed she had a cold and they still said bring her. I told then the day before they said bring her. Not to mention the 2 days of work I missed for my daughter not to get her teeth fixed. There are other dental groups where the staff knows if a child has had a cold in the past few weeks to reschedule. Apparently its a lack of communication at Tebo
We went in for a regular checkup and cleaning, came in early to fill out the paperwork, waited 40 minutes past the appointment time just to be seen. One of the ladies working front desk was not very welcoming and helpful, but oh well, maybe she had a bad day. Once we got in, we had to wait another 30 minutes for a hygienist, just to be told that they’re not allowed to use their cleaning machine and the cleaning will be done manually (would be nice to know this in advance). Then the doctor came in and told me that my 5 year old has 7 cavities and needs silver crowns. No going over x-rays, no through explanation were given. They told us we had two treatments options: one rounded up to 1500 co-pay, and the other totaled in 2600 with general anesthesia. I decided to go and get a second opinion at a different dentistry, and was charged $25 by Tebo just to get my x-rays sent to a different doctor. Turns out my daughter has only 3 cavities and does not need crowns at all. We have been loyal customers of Tebo (Dacula) since she was 2, but after this experience we will not be back.
Dr Dang was just amazing. I was really nervous since my kids have disliked previous dentists, and are very unco operative in the chair. Dr dang is extremely patient, great bed side manner and super sweet. I felt really comfortable letting her perform dentistry on my 3 children. I will recommend all my friends and family to see dr dang for pediatric dental care needs!
Terrible service! Super badd Switching out to another dentist for my child for sure!. They made us come at 11:30am for a procedure to my son and 1hr and 30 minutes later they still havent call us in.. Bad customer service and 0 trust to them definitely dont recommend this place/service
My sister recommended me to this place and I’m so happy I went! My son just had a procedure done and everyone there was amazing. The anesthesiologist and the whole team made it comfortable for my boy and myself and they worked pretty quick as well. I saw people come in and out in a timely manner. I definitely recommend this place
I was actually really worried my daughter was going to be very scared and Id end up walking out with a crying toddler in tow but the staff was very patient with her, the nice lady who did the teeth cleaning kept her focused on her by being goofy while explaining what she was doing and even got her to laugh during it and the dentist himself was very quick checking the teeth she wouldnt let the very patient (I guess she was the radiologist) take an xray of her back teeth. Totally worth the extra lyft money I needed to spend to get her there for a pleasant first dental experience for my daughter. Thank you guys so much.
Initially I was happy with Tebo, unfortunately I decided to change because parents are not allowed to go back with their children since the pandemic. Its very disappointing because this was the first place my kids received their first dental work. We had been with them for many years. I refuse to allow my child who is 8 to go back on her own to receive any type of treatment without a parent. Very disappointing. Not only did they refuse to allow me to go back with my child, on a cleaning visit the tech who attended one of my kids, assumed that because I look hispanic I didn’t speak English. It is not nice to assume. Again very disappointing.
It is ALWAYS a pleasure to visit Tebo Dentistry. I’ve been taking my daughter there for the last six years and the service is excellent each visit. There is minimal wait time, the staff and doctors are very knowledgeable, my child loves going to the dentist, we are in and out, and each visit lasts about 45 minutes. It’s a win-win! I do not live in the area anymore, but I make the sacrifice twice a year for this upscale service!
While i checked in my daughter had a chance to play in their play room, which she enjoy. basically i didn’t have to wait in the waiting area because as soon as i got there they were ready to receive us. my daughter was scare when we went inside the room but they were so nice and sweet to her that she loved it. i appreciate the fact they’re against force (tying down children) as well letting us parents come inside with them. everything was clean and as well everyone was nice and everything was explained as well.
I’ve been bringing my daughter here since she was a baby and I happen to work in dentistry, we just don’t specialize in pediatrics so I chose to stick with Tebo for my child’s dental needs. When we first started coming years ago they were always on time and very prompt with our appointments in-&-out! Unfortunately this has not been the case the last several visits. The waiting time has been MUCH longer and for a child with an ADHD diagnosis this is difficult. Dr. Cole is AMAZING, and so are most of the staff! However if Tebo in Lilburn is unable to fix the amount of time their patients are waiting, then I’m afraid we will have to go elsewhere for dental care.
I will start by saying that the sedation staff did an outstanding job treating my son, they made my husband and I feel very good about my sons procedure. They were very detailed and kept up informed and updated throughout the process. The only reason why I will not rate a 5 star is because the dentist that was treating my other son ( Carolina) was very impatient and unprofessional, my 7 year old had a very natural reaction to pain and right away she took her gloves off and wanted to reschedule the procedure and automatically get my son sedated. She does not do well with children, that was my only issue .Other than that everyone did a great job
I’m the deaf mother and I had bad experiences with other dentist due to lack of communication and they did not treat my 3 years old son right. I was recommended by my friend to try this dentist. I brought my son in to try and see. This workplace is amazing! Few team members could spell abc’s and gesture. All of them were patient and made sure I had a full access and made my son feel wholly comfortable. We were satisfied and happy. We are definitely coming back! 🙌🤟
Updated 7/16I received a call from Natalie from Tebo, she was very nice and I really appreciated the call and concern. She took time to explain why they recommended that treatment and that I shouldnt have been told there was a $25 charge to send out the xrays to another dental office. It means a lot when a company cares enough to reach out personally to those that were dissatisfied.Ill start off by saying the staff was very friendly and personable. At first glance it was a very pleasurable experience. I went referred to Tebo by my daughters primary dentist due to the number of cavities, they recommended oral sedation which their office didnt do. I called Tebo and they explained that they didnt do oral but IV sedation so I made the appointment with them. After consulting with the dentist I was told that my daughter needed 8 crowns covering all of her molars. Her original dentist didnt say anything about crowns, just that she was going to need multiple fillings so I wanted to get another opinion. I also wanted to look into oral sedation rather than my daughter going under general anesthesia. Tebo gave me a referral to another dentist and I had them send that dentist the x-rays that were just taken. I decided to cancel the appointment with that dentist and go with a different pediatric dentist that was recommended to me by a friend. Now the first item that got me extremely frustrated was when I called Tebo to have them send the x-rays (which I paid for) to the new dentist they told that since they didnt refer me to that dentist I have to fill out a consent form and it will take 72 hours to process, plus there was a $25 fee. This was totally unreasonable and ridiculous. If they didnt charge a fee initially so why would you charge me a fee just because Im not going to one of your friends. Also, if they are willing to send my x-rays to the dentist they referred me to then that means I consent for them to send them to the dentist of my choice. I rather take that $25 and put it towards new xrays than giving them another dime. I wound up calling our original dentist office and they agreed to send the xrays they have on file with no question and no charge. The second issue I have is that the new dentist couldnt believeTebo was going to subject my daughter to 8 crowns. They could see the need for maybe one tooth, but the other teeth just needed a combination of fillings and sealant. I am SOOO glad I thought to get a second opinion and the cost for her treatment is going to be half what Tebo quoted. I feel much more comfortable with this new office and the oral sedation. Im also glad I didnt go with the dentist office they recommended.
I was apprehensive about bringing my kids here due to a couple of bad reviews but my experience was completely different. Every single person I encountered from Tebo was awesome. I am speaking about from the off site scheduler to every single tech, front desk, billing clerk I came across was pleasant and helpful. I cant even explain how thrilled I am am the care that my children received. The actual dentist has a gentle hand and explained the whole process to me and listened to my concerns. I am so pleased with the level of professionalism and kindness that we were shown. The Lilburn location is really spacious and has video games for the kids in the waiting room as well.
Only have been once but they were fantastic for my 2.5 year old!! You can watch a movie or play video games while you wait if you want. We waited like 5 mins so not long at all. Everyone was super nice. Wish I wasn’t moving because I finally found my daughter a fantastic dentist!!
We were at Tebo Lilburn yesterday,Monday at 1pm appointment. The two ladies close to the door that took temperature was very personable and accommodating. However, when we check in at the front desk was VERY RUDE to everyone that come in contact with her. She should not be working at the front desk as she was not good with customer service, she respond to everyone in an irate manner and very arrogant. Weve been visiting this location for more than 10 years now since everyone was pleasant until that lady ruin it for us. Please do not assign that lady in the front so would keep your customer. Not a happy camper here.
I loved this dentist for my son. He wasnt scared and the staff was so friendly to us! Im glad that I was told about Tebo, we will definitely being sticking with them! It was our first good experience with a dentist since weve moved to Georgia. Thank you for your service!
They were really great with my son especially him crying so much they seemed to find a way to calm him down. I just didnt like the fact that only one parent is allowed to go in there I really needed him from my husband with our son while waiting in the back it would have been helpful having him there instead of him waiting in the waiting room. But other than that they were good to him and really knew how to calm him down.
Absolutely pleased with how friendly the staff is. The tech that did the cleanings for my kids was amazing. She made them feel calm and comfortable. My kids were super scared from past experiences at other dentists. The only flaw was I had to run back and forth across the office due to my kids being called separately.
Going to Tebo Dentistry For Kids was the least painless trip to the dentist I have ever made!!!! They were absolutely wonderful. From the time I walked in the door until I walked out the door with my little patient, the experience was great. Everyone was helpful, they were so good to my 5 year old and the followup request I made were met without a glitch. I wish this team could train other dental offices to operate in the same, professional manner. Thank you Team Tebo!!!!My little guy was the first patient at the new office in Peachtree Corners and even with all the issues they were dealing with (that pop up when a new office opens) they didnt let it phase them when it came to their patients. I cannot say enough good things about Tebo Dentistry and would like to offer a BIG thank you for opening your new office in Peachtree Corners!
I have a son that is 5 years old.. who has been going here since he was 2. My son doesnt like the dentist at all.. so it takes patience to deal with him.. he leaves smiling everytime.. they are very nice and patient most definitely patient.. Ive never had a long wait time. And the they all take there time to explain everything in detail and give tips for improvement. I highly recommend Tebo..
They were really nice to work with. My son is very sensitive and does not like to be touched so he had to be put to sleep to have everything worked on. We were quoted $1900 for every (this is with insurance) but the day of I decided to have two teeth removed that wasn’t planned and an extra tooth filled. This apparently added 900+ on top of the $1900 o had already paid.
Tebo dentistry in itself is a great place however all dentists and assistants are not the same. My 13 year old daughter had an awful experience. The assistant wasnt being attentive and my daughter was choking on her own fluids along with the water being sprayed in her mouth. The assistant was not paying attention and the fluids were going in her eye and ear. We have been going to Tebo dentistry for over 13 years with all 4 of our kids and have had many great experiences as well. Unfortunately not with this particular dentist. Today was the 2nd time we had her and again a terrible experience.
I was amazed how wonderful our experience was at Tebo dentist in lilburn. I am the mom of an autistic son who needed 2 emergency extractions and Tebo got us in an out in less than an hour. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable and the office is so clean and fun for the whole family. I highly recommend Tebo for any children especially ones with special needs.
I have been coming to Tebo for about 3 years now. It is very organized they are always professional and make sure to work with you with appointments. There is hardly ever a wait and the experience is always great for my child. The staff are warm and friendly my child is never scared or apprehensive. Keep up the good work Tebo.
This was my 16 mth old daughter’s 1st dentist appointment and it went really well. The wait wasn’t long at all, everyone was extremely helpful and kind. Check in/checkout process is easy and the 1st visit forms aren’t dreadfully long and drawn out. The hygienist was so sweet and patient. The dentist was informative and sweet. Overall Bella and I had a great visit, even though she cried lol! But it wasn’t bad at all as I originally thought. It helped that the staff were genuinely patient and kind, everyone made me feel super comfortable. The 30 min drive was worth it.
This place looks child friendly but it is not. If you have little one please reconsider. We had the worst experience ever with these people.1. The way they sedate kids is a Terrible thing to witness. As a first time parent taking my child there for her first visit I was not aware of what I had just signed up for. If I would have actually seen it before hand I would have never agreed. Most dentist do it in liquid form to sedate kids. These guys do it with needles and hook u up to an IV and then tape their eyes closed.2. After the procedure was done they informed us that our child was waking up. When it was time to go home I pick my child off the dentist chair while she is awake. She lays her head on my shoulder starts talking to me and she lifted her head up and when she did her whole body went back and she almost hit the floor! They didnt tell me to make sure to hold her with 2 hands because she cant control herself. Im not in the medical field myself so how am I supposed to know what to expect when you are not informed properly. Very unprofessional!3. We ended up rushing her to the emergency room because again we were not informed properly of what to expect. They gave her too much medication when they sedated her and it didnt wear off in 6 hours like they said. It was more like 10 hours for it to wear off and we panicked because she couldnt walk and a rash broke out on her face. We thought it was an allergic reaction to the medication. (no it was a reaction to the tape they put on her face to keep her eyes closed). They also scraped her chin with something while they were working on her.Last but not least I Called them and pretty much told them the same thing I just wrote and a receptionist told me that her manager would call me later to discuss what happened. Still waiting for that call and its been about 2 weeks.I would highly recommend if you have little ones that you stay away from these people. They are not meant to work with small children.
It was an ok experience. My 3 year old son was sedated and fillings and crowns on the lower left and right side. On the way home he was biting his lip. I tried to get home as quickly as I could. When we got home his bottom lip looked like hamburger and that night was 3x his norm all lip size. Not tebos fault but I would have rather them only do one side so his whole lip was not numb.
So satisfied with this place. We just moved from NJ and this is the first dentist we came to and it will be the last Amazon amazing is all I have to say.from the front desk lady greeting you and being polite to the ppl in the back being so understanding and helpful and nice to your child. They know how to cope with the kids know the right words to make them feel comfortable. Love this place
So we had a appointment scheduled for my son for his fill ins with an anesthesiologist note we live over an hour away, I never received a call or email saying that the doctor wont be in that day for his appointment until we got there after taking off from work and driving all the way there. Had to turn back home and reschedule. We reschedule but this time they wanted just for us to come in for a consultation before we start the procedure again having to drive an hour for a consultation? And then drive there a week later for his procedure. So the Morning on his consultation I called to see if everything was still good to go before I drive there and they said yes, 10 minutes before we left the house after getting the kids ready and taking off work again they called saying there was an emergency with doctors so they wont be in. Wow, wasted my day off and almost had us driving there for no reason! Why didnt they just had our consultation schedule at the same time the procedure or why would they need a consultation if they didnt do it the first time. This place has a big lack of communication that is inconvenience to the parents and the child. I do not suggest this company or this location. Very disappointed!
I have on 4 years old son and I am getting services from this facility since his first dental visit. Like them. But, I did not like the dentist they referred for certain things they do not carry at their place.I was referred to Dr. Christy Haffner, which I did not find very welcoming, financially + Dr. care. PLEASE FIND SOME some other referrals that justifies both money and care.
Thanks so much for taking such good care of both my little girls teeth. I cant thank you all enough for such a very professional job well done... An excellent full staff that is well kind and friendly... and keeping my children as comfortable as possible. Our visits have been more than perfect to say the LEAST. Thanks again.
My 3 year old had two cavities filed today. I really didnt want him to have any anesthesia if it wasnt necessary and the doctor was totally willing to try without it and my son did great! Thank you for respecting a moms wishes and trying something that was a likely difficult!
If you are looking for a dentistry office for your children this is where you want to bring your children. The entire staff is compassionate and professional. Dr. Cole and Sandra are a great team, I would Specifically ask for them! Thank you Tebo Dentistry for great customer care and service!
I drive to either lilburn (over an hour) or Gainesville (45 min) to take my two kids to the dentist. Its well worth the drive! My son has extreme anxiety and they work with him and calm him down, all while explaining to him every detail of everything that they are doing. Definitely recommend either office, as all the staff is great!!
Most unprofessional place I have ever been. They cancelled my appointment for my son that I had for 3 weeks to get a cap put over his root canel without my permission. So imagine my surprise I get to the dentist and I have no appointment. Not to mention I confirm it in my email. And they even said they gave it to another person. Worst place ever. I highly recomend you take your kids somewhere else.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. They did a procedure on my nephew, one week later he was complaining of pain. Took him back to the office they said it was normal. Two weeks later he’s still in pain. Proceeded to take him back only to find out that they cut his gum during the procedure and it became infected. No antibiotics were given at all‼️‼️‼️Their only option is to remove his tooth. He’s 3‼️ No remorse non whatsoever was given. This place is a joke. All they want is money and to procedures for more money.I DO NOT RECOMMEND ‼️‼️
My kids have been coming to Tebo destistry since they were 18 months old. They are now 8 years and 5 years of age and when I tell you they look forward to it, Im amazed. The staff is kind and definitely very helpful. They treat families with kindness and almost always remember kids on a first name basis. They have a neat little waiting area for the kids to play in, and when youre taken in for treatment for the most part youre seen within a few minutes.
This is about my recent experience with Tebo Dentist in Lilburn, if not allow please delete. My kids been going there since 1 and never miss any 6 months checkup. Few months ago, I took my son in because I saw a yellow stain in between his front teeth. The dentist took a quick look at it and said it was just a stain, very normal and nothing to worry about. 3 months later, I took him back for his 6 months checkup, a different dentist said the stain is a cavity but they cant fix him there because he was allergic to eggs. I took him to a different dentist, she took his x-ray, told me that its a deep cavity that if not fix soon it might leads to baby root canal! She fixed his cavity the same day! Never again will I go back to Tebo, I will drive the extra 20 minutes.I love everyone there until I had this problem with that specific dentist.
IMO scam artists. Diagnosed my son with 8 cavities; wanted to fill them all. Got a second opinion, NONE... not a single cavity! That was 5 years ago, still zero problems, zero cavities... Also, tons of billing mistakes with our oldests braces. Kept not applying payments, increasing charges, etc. Finally had to go down there with our original contract and statements from our account where we had paid them. Absolutely ridiculous. This same son had multiple cavities filled before learning of their scheming ways. Since switching, he has never had a cavity again; well never know if those were real cavities or a misdiagnosis. Stay away, is all I can say.
Tebo is the worse dentist office ever. Placating with all the extras only because they lack true Customer Service and they only care about the money and not the patient or the parents time. No customer loyalty so after 4 years, I decided it was in the best interest of my very large family to take children to somewhere else that can appreciate the money we have spent and spend at the Tebo Dentistry.
I would not recommend Tebo Dentistry to ANYONE. They are a ripoff and say one thing one day and ask for a different amount the another day. But all wrong doing will be revealed...Tebo Dentistry day is coming...parents beware and dont be afraid to ask questions about your bill.
This place is a nightmare from the front desk personal to everything else. RUDE RUDE RUDE GIRLS UP FRONT The nastiest attitude ever.My kid had some teeth extracted & some repaired she was sedated, she came out all bruised up all over her arm. Looks as if they pinched her but didnt realize. Either way I will never come back here!
The Tebo team is very professional. They make my toddler feel at home from he enters the facility. They were never fazed by his loud screaming during his previous visits either. They also do an amazing job protecting his teeth in addition to giving him little toy treats. Thanks Tebo, love you guys.
They walked u through everything! They also made u feel comfortable with what they are doing. My son went under sedation and him being born early. They really put a lot of time asking the questions and follow ups. Even the following day after he has left there care. LOVE IT!!!
Despite the overwhelming number of reminders about the appointment, the staff was far less concerned about time and efficiency once we arrived. One waiting room led to another, then waiting more in a chair with a teen show on for a three-year-old. It took well over an hour--close to 1 1/2 hours total time for a toddler--ridiculous. On top of that they billed $42 for behavior management when in fact, there were no incidents, despite the excessive time. I doubt adults would have done as well.
As always they (all the staff from the front to the back) do a wonderful job with all my 3 children ranging from toddler to teen. It was my husbands FIRST time taking the children to their appointments & they made his experience very easy. He was super proud of himself as well! Lol
Most unprofessional staff!! I left the practice as a patient from the adult side because of the horrible experience I had last time there, basically because of the staff. I still continued to use the childrens dentistry for both my kids. Starting to realize that was a mistake!!! If your staff cant get the correct day and time correct when making apt reminder calls they shouldnt be doing it!! Tebo Dental has inconvenienced my family on more than one occasion and the fact you think giving a school excuse makes up for it is mind blowing!!! We knew when we had our kids appointment, when the girl called to remind us she told us the wrong day, we rearranged our work schedules to accommodate only to get sent away because an employee screwed up!!
I love this place. I drive from Lithonia to Lilburn to take my daughter to this office. She’s 7 and it’s the only dental office she’s ever gone to. I use to visit the upstairs office for almost a decade before they stopped seeing adults. I would recommend to anyone. I chose this office because the environment is very child friendly and the staff are all personable. Very rarely do I have any complaints and when I do it’s minor and they do their best to resolve.
A parent is not allowed in the oral surgery room with a child, no matter what the age. This is a satey concern for the child. They may tell you its for covid protocol but since both the child and parent live together the chance of ONLY one having it and not the other is slim.It would be very easy to setup remote viewing of the procedure/room to accommodate safety concerns.
Tebo is the best.! The staff is awesome and really professional and attentive. ! I had no concerns while I was here whatsoever.! Edgar made sure I was comfortable and that all of my questions and concerns were answered.! I can tell that he has a passion for what he does .! The overall experience was amazing for my daughter and I.
I had my worst experience with this dentistry, I go there and they just keep you in the room only God knows how long. For instance my appointment for my 2girls starts at 8:10am for the first girl and 8:40 for the second girl but as at 8:48am her teeth was still not clean and my daughter started crying for the cereal with was on the bottle so I had to walk out and go get food for her from the car and 15mins later the dentist came to clean her teeth
My grandfather paid them $5,000 to fix my mothers bridge back in 2012. They gave her a temporary and our insurance also paid them $2,000. After the appointment for the temporary, no one contacted us to set up another appointment to finish it and now my moms bridge has broke in thirds and one was lost. After calling so many times we finally spoke with someone on the phone, she was very rude and disrespectful. Said they did all they could and refuse to fix what they were already paid for which is essentially insurance fraud since they got paid for a job they didnt do. Do not go to this dentistry, even as a child I hated it, they dont make you feel comfortable and they are extremely rude and disrespectful. Wouldnt recommend to anyone, they will screw you over.
Took my daughter here a few months ago for a cleaning and I was told she had a lot of work that needed to be done in her mouth like to extract teeth, deep clean, fill in cavaties, and put crowns. The dentist went over different options for us like doing half of her mouth in one day and come back for the other half another, she also said we can do IV sedation and have everything done in one day that way my child wouldnt remember what happened and can just have everything done and over with. I talked it over with my daughter and she likes the idea of sleeping while having the work done in her mouth, so we went with that option. I asked a lot of questions like how was the procedure like, how long it would take,i looked up reviews of Tebo in Lilburn (some actually worried me) and of course the main question ,WOULD I BE ABLE TO BE IN THE ROOM WITH HER. All my worried and questions were answered by the coordinator. So we scheduled a appointment. On the day of our appointment my baby was so nervous, she was starting to want to double think the whole sedation . I did my best to talk to her and calm her down, so we get called to the back where everything would take place. We got there and we meet the kindest staff. Ms.Sandra was in the room with us and also the anesthesiologist (I forgot his name but he was a older man, hispanic, and had glasses) they were the sweetest. Mind you my kid was starting to freak out, the anesthesiologist was so sweet he talked about exactly what he was going to do,he even made her laugh, her nerves went away. He calmed her down and made sure we both were okay with the sedation. He checked her heartbeat, put monitors on her, put oxegyn ,etc. He then put the IV in her and started putting the medicines in the IV line, last one was a white liquid which he said will burn when it went in her vein , this one is the one that made her sleep. After she was fast asleep he assured me shell be fine and if he thought at any point that she was at risk of anything bad,he will stop the procedure immediately. This gave me peace of mind.I was told to sit in the waiting area. Some time passed by and I asked if I can pass by the room where my kid was at just so i can see her and know shes okay. I was told no. To be honest I was angry because I was under the impression that I had the right to see her just as long as i dont go inside the room.Fast forward ,my daughter was done and I was then told I can see her , of course i run to the room and see her waking up,She gave me a thumbs up when i asked was she okay. I was given more info by the nurse at that time and Ms.Sandra and the nurse got a wheelchair for my daughter and they both helped me to my car. We got home, she was still loopy but it wore off after about 3 hours. When she finally came to her senses she was saying how she didnt feel a thing and was so happy she was treated good by the staff. She even asked me to review Tebo and let other kids and parents know that the staff was so nice and the procedure was painless. Shes now just a bit sore and ready for her next visit in 6 months.Thank you Tebo for an amazing expirience !
Tebo Dentistry has a very friendly staff. There was no waiting time. Everything was quick with in dept details. My LO enjoyed her little goody bag ( tooth brush, toothpaste, a Tebo sticker, and a Tebo tattoo. Plus a small token from the treasure box. Thank you Tebo Dentistry.
Im so happy that I chose Tebo for my little prince. The staff is very friendly and makes every effort to comfort him. They do not show frustration even when he is screaming and fighting. The place is also pristine clean. Very short waiting time. Thanks guys for taking such great care of Joule.
I left the office with an un easy feeling today. I feel like I didnt get the complete explanation why my daughter need to have grown. The doctor was unprofessional, he didnt show the x-ray to me and explain which tooth that my daughter need to be grown.I am not sure if I suppose to bring my daughter back for an OP or find another dentist. Very very disappointed.
I wish to give 0 star, but that is not an option. This place is rip off. Primary dentist referred my 5 year old kid for 2 teeth evaluation, and they want to do treat 13 teeth, though x-ray does not show he needs 13, but only 4 are needed. They want to bill me $4000 after insurance payment. they want to put my child in sleep for 4 hours. I requested them if they can do only 4, they said, NO. Fine, I requested the x-rays, they told me I have to pay for each x-ray and demanding high money though patient has the right to get the x-ray copy. But, NO. Find better place and run from THIS TOTAL RIP OFF. THEY DONT KNOW ANYTHING BUT $$.
This place was very friendly the nurse helped my daughter through the whole thing when she started crying after the shot the nurse talked her down.. it was very nice to see the nurse and doctor interact with the kids.. my daughter usually hates dr.s offices but tebo she was so comfortable! Definitely cant wait to go back!
Nothing like a place that takes your money every chance they get. Don’t think they’ve actually cleaned my child’s teeth, only polished them. If you want your child to feel comforted and special, stay away from this place! If your child gets upset at all, they take you to a “happy room” and it’s not very happy.
Love the staff very friendly and caring my son had a bad experience before with dentist and was terrified of them but the staff was very patient and caring. It helped him overcome hes fear of dentist and i dont always rate and review places but this is an exception .Vey pleased with them.
Started going in 2015 and since then , everytime they find something else wrong, we had to fix a fill the did 3x and then it came out again they said it was due to grinding teeth bull , then they want to pull teeth with infection in them instead of treating them with antibiotics! Even my pediatrician said you Dont pull teeth with infection in them . Unreal then want to charge $25 per kid for the records to go see someone else! Save your time and money skip tebo!
This dental group told me my son needed 3 crowns so I decided to get a second opinion elsewhere because they also dont do porcelain crowns. When I called to get the xrays transferred, they wanted to charge me $25 AND take 3 days to approve a records release form. When I protested and told them if they made me pay the $25, I wouldnt be back and it would end up costing them a lot more money in the long run, Jocelyns manager could have cared less. I decided not to pay and boy am I glad I didnt. The new dentist took xrays and were incredulous we were told he needed 3 crowns. They were able to do 3 fillings instead, saving me roughly $1500 AND they submitted the new xray charges along with an explanation of the savings involved.
If I could give it zero stars, I would. Very bad experience that I had with my son, they give me an appointment at 12pm and they want to see me two hours later and that does not end there the person who attends the front demanding that my 2 and a half year old baby wear a mask. they are just children
Bad experience, they cancel my appointment with out letting me know. I took off from work went to get my daughter early from school ,show up even 12 min before my appointment time and sorpresa they had cancel my appointment, With out notification. They play with people time that not professional. Tener cuidado juegan con el tiempo de las personas cancelan las citas sin notificaciones.
If you have traditional insurance, dont waste your time here. The practice is completely money driven. Theyll herd in as many people as they can to make sure theyre making money. Additionally, theres a slim chance of seeing the same employee twice from the receptionist to the dentists. I think the number of patients that go through the Lilburn office are too much for anyone to handle.
Definitely not coming back. I wanted to speak to a supervisor or a manager but I guess they never made it out of their meeting. Anyways I find it very rude and disappointing that I had to wait for procedure appointment almost 5 months and then it was cancelled the day before.
My child had minor cavity (2s) treatment done back in August this year. Filling surface was not professionally done that keep cutted dental floss. Finally filling came off during the flossing on last Saturday and they ask me to pay $270 (this time its 3s)to re-do it. Because her insurance will not cover till next year.I took her to other dentist and its 2s filling NOT 3s. Watch your child s cavity treatment.
I agree with people that the place is very welcoming and the staff is very friendly, but I brought my three kids for care that we did not get for my son, to my surprise they said he needed a filling, then they asked me to sign a form agreeing to him having a crown, so, I take a look at his tooth and it was clear someone over drilled his tiny tooth, I had no choice but accepting them putting a crown, he is almost 7 years old and I’m not completely convinced he needed a filling in the first place, knowing that kids loose tooth at deferent stages of their young hood, also we make sure our kids clean and floss their teeth on a regular bases.I’m not sure if I trust them to do anything else to my kids.Jalal Bessiouni.
Today was a very scary day. My 6 year old had alot of dental work at the Lilburn office. I cant thank everyone there enough. From the woman that called to confirm his appt. to the women at the front desk to the anestisiologist to the other woman in the room.to the woman that went over the peocedure with me and helped me understand everything in full to Dr. DAVe. You all were wonderful today. I cant thank u all enough. You all were so sweet to my sweet child and to me.i have never had a dentist or a dentist office that was so patient and kind. Its almost bedtime for Preston and hes doing Wonderful!. Thank you all so very much!!!
If I could give a 0 star I would. This is the worst experience ever. First the dentist my daughter seen was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. This is supposed to be a pediatric dentist office and yelling at my child like she is one of your own dont fly with me. She went in for a cavity fill, then all of a sudden a baby root canal and my daughter was clearly in pain. Lidocaine was given but she obviously could still fill the pain, in which I know from experience. The doctor got annoyed and just stopped trying and then just gave the option to remove the whole tooth. NO. And then just decided to stick something in there and tell me if I would have been having her floss well then we wouldnt be here. The nerve... DO NOT TAKE YOU CHILDREN HERE. They only focus on making money and scheduling as many kids as they can....like a factory. They dont care about the individualized care of your child. But is quick to make sure they get their money. They do a poor job at explaining anything. Never again
They are sooo amazing..And the lady named Taylor is sooo patient with my kids ..with any other they will cry or just be so uptite n with her they talk and just have an amazing visit..If you ever take your babys/children to tebo in lilburn ask for Taylor she is the dental assistant..💚💚💚💚
They kept canceled the appointments without confirm with you first. If they give you A call (a 1st call) and if you would not able to pick it up right away, then they will go ahead and cancel your appointment right away without letting you know first! I mean they should have make a few calls first before cancel any customers appointments! They cannot just make ONLY single (1st) call and if no pick then they will cancel the appointments right away! This is ridiculous!
They told me to be there on 1/12/2017 at 11am to fill out paper work nobody told me that her treatment was at 12. Well at 12 I asked why hasnt my daughter gotten called back yet that she was hungry thirsty and ready to go and getting restless. Well they said that they were running on time at first then they told us that they were running behind and that was around 12:15pm -12:30pm SOME ONE SHOULD OF. CAME OUT AT 12pm AND TOLD US THAT IT WOULD OF BEEN AT LEAST ANOTHER HOUR BUT INSTEAD IT LEAD INTO A ARGUMENT. So they finely called her back around 1pm. But the Dr and the nurses were really sweet. What they need to do is schedule the young child early in the mornings and schedule the older ones that afternoo, since they can do without eating and drinking unlike the youngest ones can. That would help a lot also and make sure if ur running behind before the next appointment let the parents know that yall are running behind until they go up and ask.
They pretty good so far with my boy treatment but I have a observation the CHAIR where you waiting area THEY ARE BIG TIME TERRIBLE BRING YOU OWN FOAM MY BUT AND BACK HURT to be seating and waiting for my boy to come out can you please change it I have to take my boy for the next 3 years and go thru this 👎😣

199 Reviews for Tebo Dentistry For Kids Lilburn 2023:
Review №1
2022-05-19I can appreciate Tebo for the kid experience and convenience of their locations but time after time I am turned off by their staff. The front office/ check-in/ check-our staff are VERY rude and since they are the 1st and last encounters of the visit this makes a lasting impression on the establishment. I have considered switching dentist offices multiple times but ended up sticking with them due to me not actively searching for a new pediatric dentistry office but the quality and service has drastically faded over the 9+ years I have been patronizing this establishment and I will not continue services with them. However, I will say the techs and Dr. who does the cleanings and exams are awesome, thorough and personable. I can truthfully say they were the ones keeping me afloat over the last few years but unfortunately the remaining office staff members from my experience were the complete opposite.

2022-01-06AMAZING communication, professional staff and highest quality of dentistry my kids have ever received! My oldest son just had sedation surgery at Tebo Dental and he was in great hands. All the staff prepared us and guided us through the entire process. My son is no longer in pain from his abscess and I’m so thankful to everyone at Tebo.

2022-01-19My daughter was sedated to do her dental work. Everything was normal until we met the anesthesiologist. I felt her very cold, emotionless and she overall seemed like she hated the job. My daughter freaked as soon as she heard injection, so from there it became tense. She sat in a chair next to the anesthesiologist and I noticed her hand was shaking. Apart from that, there was no intent of calming the situation - she just seemed so antisocial. She injected my daughter and after all of the commotion from my daughter and the experience that far, I felt a heavy weight on my body and felt as if I was going to faint. I asked the nurse and the anesthesiologist to help me to a chair and they referred me to a gentleman. I asked numerous times to help me to a chair (I felt like I could collapse at any moment) and instead he took me across the clinic into a separate room. I feel as if the situation could have been handled better. I would not recommend using the same anesthesiologist I did. The experience was very gruesome.

2022-05-12Myself and both my children have been patients at TEBO. I left the practice several years ago. However both my kids have been active patients for over 10 years. They are seen routinely every 3-6months. We have never missed an appointment, never had a balance and always schedule appts in advance. The last few appts I have taken them to the overall atmosphere is just bad energy. Its as if no likes there job and you are a burden for having an appt. I called last week to resch both kids appts as they were sch on a day and time that they had testing at school. I was told I couldnt get another appt til Sept/Oct. Seriously?? You can not accommodate a follow up appt for an est patient for 4-5months? So this practice just keeps taking on new patients to the point you cant service your established patients in a timely manner? I informed the associate that if thats the case we would have to find another dentist. Her response: OK have a great day and hung up on me. I was able to get both my kids appts at another practice with in 2 weeks. I called TEBO to speak to the practice manage to let her know about my experience. I have yet to get a call back. Im sure I wont get a reply to this review either as its apparent if you read the reviews that TEBO only responds to the 5 star positive reviews and does not acknowledge the other ones. TEBO you need to do better!

2022-04-07If you look through the review you will obviously see similar dislikes about how cold and callus these people are, I am so appalled with the what I experienced, I work in the healthcare field myself and I would never have my patients go through what I have, there seems to be no compassion or understanding. But God is good and god don’t like ugly let’s leave it right there. I am stunned they can kick rocks with an open toe shoe for all I care.

2022-05-27This is my first time experience at this place. I liked it and my daughter too was comfortable for doing her treatments and cleaning. The staff and nurses were really nice and explained the procedure to us . I will recommend this place to my friends.

2022-03-10I brought my daughter in for a consultation for sedation dentistry. The dentist she saw looked over her x-rays and quickly said she would need 7 plus steel caps/crowns. I ended up calling and asking if some of them could be done with white resin and they refused saying there was obvious decay. I canceled her appointment and took her to get a second opinion. In the end, my daughter ended up with ONE steel cap. This place clearly is about the money and not what is best for our children. I would not recommend Tebo to anyone.

2022-06-30Dentists are great here but their front desk is terrible.there all snotty young women who don’t want to be there and it SHOWS. They don’t respond to your messages and instead of calling you they just cancel your appointment.not to mention all the upfront women just walk around having useless conversations or sitting down hiding on their phones do your self a favor GO SOMEPLACE WHERE YOUR TIME MATTERS AND YOU DON’T HAVE TO DEAL WITH IMMATURE KIDS WORKING THE FRONT DESK

2022-03-29My 5 year old son last visit was horrific on 2/11/21. He had to have a tooth pulled because his baby tooth was not fully closed and had some nerve sensitivity. My 1st issue was I was told I could not be by my 5 year old side for the procedure. I was reassured they would take great care of him. When he was returned to me he told me he was held down by (3 adults) and felt the dentist dig his tooth out. I was completely devastated by the behavior of these adults. No one thought it was a good ideal to get me his mom (while seating in the waiting room)They just continue to add more big people to restrain a 5 year old who is clearly in pain. I have tears in my eyes now as I write this review. The thought of my son held down by 3 adults while the dentist dug his tooth out and he was kicking and screaming is emotional. A child should never have a horrific experience like this. This amount of trauma to a child mental health could have a horrible impact.

2021-10-27I absolutely love Tebo Dental in Lilburn Ga, I’ve been going here with my brother since I was child. I’m adult now I have two boys of my own… I take my children here because of the hospitality from the employees , the cleanliness of the office, and the Tebo Mascot it makes the experience inviting and fun for my babies 🤍The Dentist techs here are so efficient and have so much experience with the little ones. My child loves going to the dentist vs fearing for their next appointment I’m so happy my mom took my here so I could share the experience with my own children. Not to mention the super easy check in ! Everything is organized and efficient !
