This is one of my new favorite restaurants, food quality is impressive margarita is amazing the staff is fantastic I highly recommend that restaurants I will drive for an hour just to eat there.

The worst service possible. The place was mostly empty and we were completely ignored. There were 2 people working (one man and one woman, the owners I assume), and they both acknowledged that we hadnt received menus, and they never brought them. The woman literally asked if we had menus, confirmed we didnt, and then proceeded to sit down and eat her own lunch. Clearly we were not valued as customers. We gave them a generous 10 minutes before walking out.
5 stars for being the WORST Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. From the straight out of the can tomato sauce salsa with scalloped sized onions, no flavor, to the dollar store canned cheese queso, to the paper thin unseasoned steak. Yuck.But make no mistake, you will pay great Mexican food prices.If this is authentic Mexican, I will bring freeze dried Taco Bell with me to Mexico for my fix.

Courteous, fast, clean, not crowded. We got a few a la carte tacos and burritos -- simple, tasty stuff. Bean burritos were big and cheap. The burritos did come with a brown sauce, which my parents liked but I found a bit too smoky. Will definitely try this place again.

No flavor, salt and pepper steak. Mexican rice was white rice with no taste. Salsa was tomato sauce. Store bought mission tortillas. Great place if you like boring very Americanized non mexican food. Sweet tea was good though.
This is one of my favorite places to eat on my lunch break however; I will not be returning. I was very offended by the lack of customer service that I received. The place was not busy at my time of arrival. I choose to seat myself on the outside. No one came out to take my order or greet me. I had to walk into the restaurant and ask to be served. Shortly after, a white family seated themselves directly beside my and they were immediately served. I am a African American woman and I find that obvious discrimination very disturbing. I will no long support this establishment and I encourage other people of color to do the same. We are obviously not welcomed at this restaurant.

So nice. Iggy is a man I met there today who I think is the owner. He was super nice and the recipes are from his mother - so sweet. The soup is FANTASTIC! If you want good food and good people, this little place is the one. The soup made me feel at Home.
I actually just came in while I was waiting for my car to be serviced. But what I experienced was so unique and amazing. The restaurant is unassuming but has the most welcoming, homey and family oriented feeling. I saw Sebastian, one of the owners, making several Groups of elderly patrons feel so loved and special. He has a sweet Spirit about him and a gift for bringing people in and helping them feel like they are seen and belong. Sweet restaurant. Good food. Cold beer mugs!! I def will return.
I came here because of the solid Google reviews. The truth is, the food just isnt that good. It was pretty bland and the portions are small. They do make their own hot sauces which is cool, but there are better Mexican restaurants in the area. Probably wont be back.

The food is always delicious and the staff are wonderful. The dining area is small so you have a quiet family atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is one of my go to spots in town for family food and friends.
Been coming to this place for as long as I can remember! Their salsa is my absolute favorite, I could drink it. A friend and I always come here when she is in town and have lots of chips and the wait staff never gets annoyed with us, theyre always very friendly. Sebastian is wonderful and always remembers us. I always get tacos al carbon when I come here. Very good!
Excellent! They are able to verify that my choice is gluten, dairy and soy free! They have excellent homeaxe sauces that are super spicy! Ive been here many times and have never been disappointed. I had the beef taco salad (without shell) no sour cream, no cheese.
Fair prices, especially the lunch specials. The servers and host were very nice, quick, and accomodating. The chips and salsa, and the chicken fajita quesadilla were all perfect. I asked the hot sauce and they brought out their house made chipotle hot sauce and pineapple creamy sauce, as well as Valentina. All super good! I will take my dad here next time.
I have been there several times,the most recent on wife and I anniversary (27 years). They fixed us a special desert, which we were unaware of. We were very appreciative and it made our special day that more special. Thank you for your generosity and hospitality.I only wish we lived closer. We live over an hour away,and do not go daily or weekly. We have tried to go on weekends and special occasions. I love this place and the staff. I am already anxiously awaiting to go backWent a couple of weeks ago and were hardly acknowledged. Our server wasnt great, he was subpar. Had to remind him about bringing sauces and he wasnt on the ball. He never checked back on us. The other lady who was so friendly before,acted like she had never met us. Very disappointed. Food was good, service subpar, and atmosphere was not right. I guess we were looking for consistency in our friendly treatment. Will think about going back, probably wont be if I cant be treated in a better matter. Shame on you.
My family and myself were not able to eat only a couple bites of our platters. The server was very rude , we had to keep asking for refills and I ask for the manager several times and were told she couldn’t do anything that she only worked there. So I walked up to the manager and told him our food was awful and not fit to feed a pig. He ignored me and as I continued to stand there he only looked at me as if I was stupid.... I would stay away from this restaurant...
Ordered street tacos for a large group this weekend. The tacos weren’t bad at all, but they came dry. We are used to verde, or a little sauce of some sort, on our street tacos, so it took away from the flavor a bit. The staff is super nice, and we will try dining here again soon.
Flavorless cafeteria style food. My wife (who is a white lady) can cook more authentic mexican food than this. Should have known better when everyone in the place was white and over 50 years old

Just your typical awful Georgia Mexican food... Cant even call it Mexican food... I ordered the green salsa enchiladas.. came out with like a nasty green paste. Not salsa verde like Ive come to know and expect coming from San Antonio Texas. Probably one of my bottom spots I will never even look at again. Only reason for two stars is the waiter was very nice
My mom works here the times I’ve went there ive seen very good service what I see though is that people go outside and seat them selfs on the porch and waiters aren’t aware of it. But I recommend it
Workers were very friendly but the steak for the fajitas was very dry and tough, as for the chicken it was ok just a good bit under seasoned. No second trip for me and my friends though!
This place is always beyond awesome. I have eaten there so much the owner comes on most occasions to shake my hand. Its rare that I go when its not crowded and yet I never have to wait more than a reasonable amount of time for a sit down restaurant. Get the macho nachos.

We have tried other Mexican restaurants in the Canton/Woodstock area and some come close BUT none can equal the quality, value and service.This is a small restaurant that delivers BIG on quality Mexican food- you will not be disappointed.
I visit Canton, Ga. many times per year to spend time with long time close friends. My home is in Ft. Myers, Fl. I always look forward to having at least one meal at Tecali. Good food, good prices, friendly wait staff, AND great frozen margaritas.

The food at all Mexican restaurants is basically the same, but not at Tecalli Grill. They offer a different selection. Food is very good, service is great. Salsa is made in house and is great as is Queso

Exceptional consistancy from a family who always great you at the door with a smile.The stached enchiladas are as good as the ones my Aunt makes for me in Las Cruces.When my daughters and I want to have family time- we go to Tecali. When my brother and his family want to meet up- Tecali.

Everything we ordered was delicious!! Our waiter was great and had drink refills to our table before we could even ask. Go check this place out...you wont be disappointed!

2021-10-17Salsa was lacking in any seasonings and tasted like plain crushed tomatoes. The chicken in the chimichanga was also void of any seasoning. It was deep fried well and was not oily tasting. Small interior with tables packed in closely together.

2016-12-04I had the shrimp fajita nachos, so good!!! Salsa and cheese dip were amazing as well. My boyfriend had shrimp, chicken, and steak fajitas. He also loved his food. My favorite food is Mexican and we were in town visiting friends. We had friendly and fast service and amazing food! Definately recommend!!!

2021-12-07The owner is a nice guy, the service is excellent, the chicken is so dry it’s almost inedible. The place is clean friendly and nice but there cooking techniques and how they keep food fresh is a total fail.
