Watch out when you order alcohol beverages if you ask for top shelf liquor they charge it for it but use cheap liquor in your drink. Went with a group of friends last night and they totally tried over charging each of us for food and alcohol. We had separate tickets and they tried charging me for my friends drink but they put it on her ticket as well. If you go eat with a group of people just double-check your receipts. The food isnt all that great and service was slow. We literally had to ask for stuff over and over again. Also, there is a huge language barrier so it was hard to communicate with the employees. The one thing I can say is they were all very nice and the place is clean. They do have a lot of seating for big parties.
TERRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD! I went for a quick bite to eat with my sister. Our waiter didn’t get to the table 15 minutes after we sat down just to get our drink orders. Even then we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for him to bring it to our table. I ordered 6 wings and was advised that it would take 15 minutes. That’s totally fine. But 15 minutes turned into 40. A party of 10+ and another party of 4 got their food way before us. I literally ordered 3 things. Our waiter wasn’t attentive at all. He never came over to check on us to see how we were or update us on the status of our order. I had to wave him down to ask and he said, “I’ll go check.”. When the wings finally did come, they were COLD as if they had been sitting for some time. Again, I tried to get the attention of the waiter but he kept avoiding me. I didn’t make a scene but I was visibly fed up. I’ll never ever come back to this establishment. I totally understand that places are short staffed and I would never add more stress to people who are diligently working. But the fact that we were seriously overlooked, had terrible service, and the food was nasty! We didn’t get any type of apology or comp. Do not come here, save your money.
My friends and I shouldve followed our first thought and left after the sauce that came with our appetizers looked suspicious and our complimentary chips were cold and stale, but we stayed to give them a fair try. Another customer whom we met outside, also complained about how old the food tasted. Around 2am, I woke up to severe stomach pains. It hurt to move and my head was spinning. Once in the bathroom....well, lets just say Im certain I had food poisoning. The service was cordial enough, but I cannot negate the fact that I got sick shortly after eating here.
My brother and I went here to have lunch on the days between our two birthdays. The food was excellent, hot and as ordered. Our server was attentive and the restaurant was clean. We always go here to meet up for lunch at our birthday time and last year were able to eat in our cars. It is nice to be able to go back into the restaurant.
We enjoy are experiences at Tequila Mexican restaurant. However, like other established local restaurants (regardless of ethnicity) I advise for owners to look at upgrades and updates to their menu and ambiance. Also that they do not rest on past laurels, they may have earned, because there are now too many options for local diners.
If I could give zero stars i would. I havent been to this location in years so we decided to give it a try while in the area. Despite negative reviews, there were many positive ones so we took the plunge. We were seated immediately, trash was all over the floor. Our drink order and cheese dip order. The chips were stale and the water that was masked as cheese dip wasnt great. Thats pretty much where the experience ends...the waitress never cane back. Oh she made eye contact with us, and continued to take other tables orders that came in after us. Needless to say we left, I offered to pay for the drinks and the cheese dip as I was leaving and the gentleman behind the register said not to worry about it. Needless to say I wont return, and maybe I should put more stock in bad reviews.
First time eating here and it was delicious! Everything tasted fresh. The only downside was a lazy waiter... I asked for a refill on chips for the guacamole I bought and never received them, it took 15 minutes to get the pico that went along with my burrito, and never once gave me a refill. The place was not crowded and I was very surprised... because every time I drive by there is always to many people. I’ll be back and hopefully the waiter was just having an off day.
I stopped in today ordered a shredding chicken burrito and I asked to have cilantro and avocado inside as well instead I received a burrito that wasnt fully wrapped and the extra thing I clearly asked to be inside were on the side and to make matters worse...my salsa was spilled inside of my bag. I didnt even have time to get a FULL REFUND because I wouldve been late for work. Total disaster for lunch.
Excellent, attentive service—kind, quick, not overbearing, but timely—checked in on our table at regular intervals. Fajitas came out steaming hot on a griddle plate, quesadilla cheese was melting on the spot, & delicious housemate horchata (not-too-sweet-just-right!) was available! 48 oz dark dos equis on tap. Will definitely come back to the patio! Gorgeous view of the sunset.
Service is very slow. Food wasnt very good either. We waited 25 minutes just to get our drinks and we ordered water! It took another 30 minutes for the server to come back to take our food order and when we finally got our food (another 20-30 minutes) it wasnt even what we ordered and we had to wait again for the kitchen to make the correct meals.
Where do u start. I hadnt been in her maybe a year or so, so I guess they have new owners. First thing I noticed on the menu was that they charge $1 for refills on soda. That was a news flag. But I was fine with just getting water. I proceed to place my order for a combination plate with various items, but I chose to make my own combo which you can do. I wanted 2 of the same items, the waiter says that I cant so that, Im confused because it says create your own combo. He says I have to order a la carte which would have been more. Me and my wife decided to just take our business elsewhere I should have know not to go to a restaurant that doesnt have a website
This is the spot for Mexican in the Hiram area! Absolutely delicious everything, I recommend tacos al Pastor with the habanero salsa and queso fundido and either a IBC rootbeer or tall dos equis ambar. You simply cant go wrong here, they do get busy but the quality never suffers

2022-04-30It was quite a good experience. Service was great and the food was pretty good too. Although almost every taco is made with ground beef we did manage to find tacos with real beef and pico de gallo that were very tasty. Also we tried the Pollo Hawaiano and it was very delicious, it had a variety of vegetables and pineapple which gave it a little twist.

2022-04-27If your in the hiram. Ga area then you know what its like to sit out on the patio let the wind blow in your face and watch all the shoppers pass by while your sitting there sipping on ice cold margaritas, maybe its a Corona or XXXs either way that coupled with a big steak, enchiladas, or a big burrito you can never go wrong.

2022-05-15I was very impressed with the service here. My food tasted fresh and well-seasoned. The staff was not overbearing but there when you need it them. I had the camarones ala diabla. The shrimp was cooked properly, which was surprising for a Mexican restaurant. There was an abundance of flavor. I did feel like there was something missing from the plate. The rice did not do it justice. I also got some tomatillo sauce to help with the rice and sour cream. Looking forward to going back to this establishment soon.

2022-08-14From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and treated awesome. The music was great and the margarita was on point. My quesadilla was stuffed with steak and very good. Last minute decision that gets 2 thumbs up. 😁

2022-06-03This is our favorite place in town. We introduce all our friends here. And now they are bringing their friends! The food and margaritas are consistently amazing and we love the staff. We come here at least 3 times a month if not more.

2022-08-01Customer service was lacking and the food was mediocre. The tortillas were not cooked prior to serving, had a very raw taste and the salsa tasted more like spaghetti sauce. I will not be back and would not recommend them. 2 stars for having reasonable prices and descent menu selections.
