A perfect Thai restaurant for informal dining. The service is friendly and attentive, the food is well prepared with excellent taste. Parking is free and convenient. Prices are very good for everything on the menu. They have carry out which makes it easy to have a Thai dinner at home. Recommend!
Easily my favorite Thai restaurant in Georgia. A cute, quiet dining room with beautiful decor. The food is authentic and just phenomenal. I’ve never had anything bad here. Service is always friendly, fast, and an all around good experience. Try the fresh basil rolls with peanut sauce!
Nice! Dont let the location deceive you. Walk in to a nice, clean restaurant and be ready to enjoy great food. The menu is diverse, service very good, and the food is exceptionally well prepared. The Thai dishes are very well seasoned and flavorful. The sushi and sashimi are always very fresh. Pricing is extremely good, and parking is easy. Highly recommend!
Have been there many times, not once have I had anything Ive not enjoyed. Wait staff is always attentive and pleasant and smiling !!! Food is always fresh and enjoyable. Seafood is always spot on and fresh !!! Hands down Ive gotta say this place definitely has Won me over for sure, staff always smiling, service is outstanding, taste of the food is spot on always !! The only Thai restaurant I go to now!! The duck is superb!!
Fantastic little Thai Restaurant. The service was fantastic! They had all my favorite items on the menu. I told them to make my Basil Beef a level 5 spicy, and they did not disappoint. When my waitress brought my food she told me everyone in the kitchen was crying. Shortly there after, I was sweating and blowing my nose. But, I swear, anytime I feel a bug coming on, some good, spicy Thai food always knocks it out quick! And, it worked, again! Thank you Thai Taste! 🤣😂🤣👍👍
First time trying Thai Taste and I will be back, being the first time I tried a little bit of everything and it was all good. I ordered online with a later time and I arrived to the restaurant about 10min early (used to other places not reading) and they apologized and said they were aiming for my requested time, shows they care from the start. Looking forward to trying other items from her in the future!!!
We called ahead and ordered pad kee mau and massaman curry, mild spice, both with tofu. The ordering process was quick and pleasant and the food was ready in 10 minutes. It was delicious, a large portion, chock full of vegetables and tofu, and only $20. Compared to Thai food in a large city that’s usually 2x the price maybe this is 4 stars, but we gave it 5 as a tasty suburban Thai option. Would definitely go back.
Excellent food, good prices and great service. I had the Chicken Pad Thai and a couple of rolls and everything was very good. The only thing to mention is while the flavors were great, the spice youd expect from authentic food wasnt there. Having lived in the south for 2 years, I realize people dont appreciate spicy foods down here, which is probably why the spice is lacking, but the wasabi wasnt hot (I used both chunks and still was left disappointed) and I tried the level 3 hotness, which was blander than any Thai food Ive ever had. I would not call this place authentic, but the quality is good and the food still has great flavor, just dont expect anything spicy here. I probably wont return due to the lack of spice.
Best place to get hot and delicious food. Unless you are really brave dont get level five. Four is pretty spicy as well. Five was painful to me. Best pod thai ever. All the other menu items are very delicious too. Of you concern from covid, ver less people dine in there. I think they do lots of to go orders.
Wonderful wonderful place! I was in the mood for some Thai food and just happened to be in the area. Looked up Thai food near me and this one came up with the highest ratings. Theres a reason for that! The food was excellent - portion size, taste, temperature, everything! The restaurant was very clean, bathrooms too! And then there was the service...absolutely amazing! The server (Sam, I think) was incredibly friendly and willing to answer my questions. I will definitely be returning to Thai Taste and would highly recommend it to those seeking some tasty Thai food!
Our first trip here was just ok but this time was fantastic! The spicy lemon grass soup was outstanding. Fried Rangoon was cooked to perfection. Sushi felt like it just melted in your mouth. Curry had a nice smooth taste and my husband added more spicy. I got level 4 and it was sooo good. Kiddo got level 1 and said she still had a little kick to it. So glad we decided to give this place another shot. Tons of people were ordering pick up orders, we may follow suit next time. Our server was very attentive too.
This is a small hole in the wall restaurant near my house, and I absolutely LOVE IT!The staff is really nice and accommodating, and their food has never disappointed - although I have really only ever ordered their Glass Noodles (amazing). If you are looking for a great place to get some Sushi or Thai food, I would highly recommend Thai Taste! The location is small, but the food is totally worth it!
The service was amazing, they were very kind and gracious. The food was even better, and it blew my mind with each bite. The atmosphere is amazing here, making you feel like youre in Thailand.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a hankering for some great thai food.
Pad thai was too sweet, but the kids liked it. i got some spicy drunken noodles with tofu, was delish. really good, finished my plate. the place really needs a face lift... might need to revisit and see if other dishes are as good. maybe i let you know. overall i enjoyed it.
Decided to try this place because we love Thai food and the ratings on here were nothing short of spectacular. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The sushi roll I had was pretty good, but the rest of the meal was not. We had the cashew nut stir fry. We asked for it hot, there was no spice. Also, the food was cold and most likely reheated because it had a couple of hot spots and bits of it were ice cold. The soup wasnt noteworthy, it had almost a tomato ketchup flavor to it and no spice.I also didnt get the great service that everyone is raving about. The waitress barely spoke, didnt make eye contact and walked over to the table behind me while I was in the middle of placing my order. Not that it was terrible, but its certainly not great. If youre looking for great Thai, youd be better off at Bangkok Cabin in Kennesaw.
Great food! I took my wife here yesterday. We found the food to be very tasty, not too spicy, portions are good, and the bill was reasonable. Parking is plentiful and no real wait time to be seated. Dont let the outside trick you, walk in and its nice, clean and inviting. The people here are very friendly.
So glad we tried this place! My son and I almost did not go in as this restaurant is located next to a gas station/ mini-mart but we had driven over there so we tried it. The place is spotlessly clean, comfortable and has a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious, presented beautifully, and spiced well. The staff is friendly, efficient, and very polite. Many people came in looking for sushi yet the sushi chef was on vacation and everyone said they would come back when he returns so the sushi there seems to be worth a try. We will definitely go back and definitely recommend this place!
I have just had my first taste of Thai Taste and it was delicious! I have been to every Thai place on this side of the perimeter and this is right up there among the best. I had the Pad Thai Chicken and the Panang Curry Chicken - they were both spiced to perfection. The service was extremely friendly and excellent in every way. This may be my new favorite Thai Place :) I am still a fan of Thai Ginger on Bells Ferry but this one is just as good and if you like a little variety, it might be a good addition to your Thai Food rotation. I think that even Sheldon Cooper would approve....
My fiancé and I have lived close to this place for so long and never tried it until curiosity got the best of us, and we are so glad it did! Nice clean atmosphere, super friendly staff, and the food was amazing! The only complaint that I have is they didnt serve sushi during lunch, but thats completely understandable and it just means well have to come back for dinner sometime!
My friend and I have been searching for our new go to for Thai food. Weve tried a few locations around Marietta and this place has solidified its place at the top of our list. Food is flavorful without being too salty, the tom khan soup is the perfect balance and isnt overly sour or creamy, just about everything we tried was amazing. Will definitely make this our weekly Thai ritual. The search is over.
ASIAN REVIEWOnly ordered once, nice interior, easy ordering, was ready for pick-up pretty quickly, lady seemed nice.I ordered just the Tom Yum soup. Missing damn near 90 percent of the ingredients; tasted like the ramen packet stuff. But even if I had never tasted it before, it tasted like someone took a bag of citric acid with salt and fermented it in a dead fish for like 2 minutes, then boiled it. With mushrooms and shrimp. It costed about 9$, soup + tip. In a foreign country, that feeds a family with a nice large soup. I expect at least a small, individual portion of that same or close to the same quality.I would give 1 star, but I hesitate because of the first sentence.
I have eaten here now numerous times, and cannot get enough! So far everything I have tried here has been exceptional. I have never tasted better Thai food than what I get here. My wife and I, as well as any friend we have brought along with us, absolutely loves this place.
I ordered to go. I wasnt to pleased with the food. The food was bland and no spice. I also ordered spring rolls with specific instructions due to food allergies, tofu instead of shrimp. Needless to say, I ended up with shrimp. Based on the reviews I was disappointed. However, great customer service.
Superb flavors and texture. Heat goes to 5... 3 was perfect... Didnt ruin the taste buds! Pad Thai with chicken was excellent... brother had scallops cooked to perfection. Appies of crab ragoon was incredible, flaky crisp and their duck sauce seems homemade...an incredible flavor. Also chicken satay... Tender and a very nice sauce for dipping.Great, attentive staff.Totally to repeat!
The food was delicious and the owner was extremely nice. The waitress, however, gave other patrons preferential treatment and ignored my table the entire night except when we had to call her attention. Other than the bad service, the meal was great and we would come back again.
Located in a strip mall on the corner of Canton Hwy and Jamerson Rd, its easy not to give this place a second thought. For transparancy reasons I will state now that I use to work here about 2 years ago and to this day I am still ordering the food because it really is just that good. I know there is the old saying not to work at a restaurant if you ever want to eat there agian but it doesnt apply here.Sam, the owner, is rideculous in how much he wants his customers to be satisfied. He goes out in the morning to get fresh produce some of which is organic because he says the quality is the best and he wants his customers to be happy (it wont tell you on the menu and he does not pass the cost to the customer). All produce is cut fresh in the morning and then again mid afternoon. Rice is made fresh 2 times a day as well as the complimentary salads. The meat is also prepped daily. All curry sauces, thai tea, egg rolls, crab ragoon, salad dressing, sweet and sour sauce, peanut sauce, stirfry sauce, fried shirmp roll, chicken satay, etc. are made in house. (Which was fun because I got to learn how to make all of those things). All shelf stable items are imported directly from Thailand. Time really is put into the food. The kitchen staff never stops cooking and they never stop cleaning either.I am sure some of the items are not as authentic as you would find in Bangkok but lets be fair we are in Marietta, Ga some considerations need to be made for the locals here. Regardless, the curries are savory and addictive. The noodle dishes are chewy and satisfactory and the sushi is very good, esp. for the area. My fav dish is the fried rice which crisps up just right in the wok. Sam also does a great job making the sushi rice too which for me can make or break a sushi experience. He cuts the fish daily (when the sushi bar is open) and as for the salmon he butchers the entire fish himself.I have noticed some frustrations with the sushi hours but try to be understanding. Sam is doing it by himself and he is working really hard. We all need a day off. He really cares about his customers happiness and he loves his job. He still hasnt raised prices (even though we have told him he needs to) and so if you want an experince with delicious food, reasonable prices, and friendly atmosphere go here. Support a local who really does his best.Ps. I have not been offered anything for this review. Sam doesnt even know I am posting this. It is just honestly how I feel.
I was introduced to this restaurant by a coworker and instantly fell in love!! Some of the best thai Ive ever had for a great price. The staff are friendly and welcoming - my second time there they remembered me! Excellent food and treat service , 5 stars no question!
Ot was our 1st tome here. Great Food and great service! Truly a hidden gem in Marietta. My family ordered something different. So I got to taste the Pad Thai chicken, Thai Fried Rice, and Beef wok stir fry with broccoli. We finished it off with the Fried ice cream for dessert. It was delicio!
Absolutely great food. Try to look past the small exterior and see this place for what it is: a great Thai restaurant. Its not large and fancy, but they will take care of you all the same. There are multiple dishes that I could recommend (Tamarin Duck, Pad Prik, Panang Curry, etc) but you really cant go wrong. They do more of a takeout business, which explains the lack of interior flair for the sitdown restaurant, but that usually means there is little to no wait for dining inside the restaurant. You can also modify you level of spiciness (1 pepper to 4 pepper) as with most thai restaurants, but I think the chef does a better job at varying the spiciness than other thai restaurants. When ordering a level 3 or 4 (out of 4 max), other restaurants simply dump more red pepper flake into the sauce as the food is being prepared. I recently ordered a level 3 spiciness here, and I could detect different types of peppers that made my dish hotter than my companions (level 2 and a mild).
Located in a questionable strip mall with a gas station is Thai Taste. When you order make sure to order their entrees only and skip over the appetizers. The spring rolls were flavorless and the dipping sauce was generic and blande. Pass. The coconut soul was also bland. It lacked the punch and creative spice of better soups. The Thai tea was good after they remade it with less milk. After that you could taste the tea! What made the tea even better was the main course.Traditional Thai food is spicy. Here you can get it spicy if perhaps a little too spicy. Once your mouth starts to burn the Thai tea really does its job.I ordered a Massaman Curry which was tasty but a little too salty. I have never had curry before that was too salty so this was a new experience. The veggies were crispy and fresh and they were generous with the cashews.Lastly I felt bad for our server. He did everything but cook. He took care of several tables, handled all the take out orders, answered the phones, did tasks for the owner and ran all the checks with a smile. I was never lacking for service but I feel like the owners could bring in more help. When I checked I was told No American Express. So even though the curry was good, the atmosphere and appetizers left me wanting so sadly I will not seek this place it again. However if Im close and a Thai urge strikes me then I will just order the curry.
The food was ok, not great. But the service was not acceptable. 3 entrees came out 5-10 minutes after the first 3 entrees. The final entree (a kids meal) came out 15 minutes after the first set. Customers were nearly walking into the kitchen to get the attention of the staff. Drink refills were not timely. No one was around when we needed the check. We really wanted to like this place.
I am a major Thai foodie who is from east cobb, but lives in Smyrna /Vinings.My husband is vegan and we love food, so we rarely eat American.I was, at first, very hesitant to try this place (as its Thai in east cobb), and I love real Thai, so I was afraid itd be all east-cobb-y ...However, it wasnt. It was light, delicious, inexpensive, and tasty.I had the penang Curry and a Thai tea for dessert :)Go try it out! !

2021-09-25Lovely ambiance and server is friendly. I ordered vegetable rolls , Tom yum soup and Basil shrimp fried rice. Being a Thai food lover I did not find authentic taste of thai in any one of the ordered food at all.

2021-05-15If youre looking for some awesome food, this is the place to go! Me and my family went here and the food was completely amazing. The inside of the resturant is very nice and cozy. It has a very interesting but nice vibe to it. The costumer service was very great and the waitress was very nice to us and our requests. Now the food was also very very great. Not one person had any complaints about their food and most of us wanted to keep it for home actually! The prices were great and the area that it is in is also nice. I know that I am planning on going here again soon!

2022-07-01First time eating here. Decided to give it a go since I’m always looking for a good catfish house. I really enjoyed the catfish and the appetizers I tried were great as well. Really good place! I highly recommend it!

2022-07-11I dont know what happened to my favorite local Thai place. I placed my usual order, but absolutely nothing in the order was good. The first disappointment was the potstickers. I normally get these pan-fried, but I was told that was not an option anymore. That should have been my first clue. These are usually the best thing on the menu. Instead, they were just over-fried. The filling was good, the wrapper - not so good. That was soon followed by an even bigger disappointment - the crab rangoon. The fried part was just OK, but the filling had an ingredient that just left a bad taste in my mouth.By far the biggest disappointment was the entrée - thePad Thai with chicken and shrimp. I usually love this, but it wasnt appetizing at all when I opened the container. It just looked completely soggy with no hint at all of the other ingredients that should come in it like bean sprouts, peanuts and green onions. It was just soggy noodles and a few carrots. And the taste was terrible. The noodles were overdone. It just ended up in the trash.

2022-05-07Great little Thai restaurant. Food has always been high quality and tasty. You can customize the hot level so you dont have be afraid of something being too hot. And the best part is they have Chang and Asahi beer.

2021-07-19The portion is so small. The first picture is Pad Thai. It looks like appetite, but it is main dish! They charge $1.5 for extra rice.

2022-06-06Their drunken noodle was good, their tom yum and tom kha was good, their service was very friendly, food came out fast, but their duck dish was not good, because it was overly salty and was too soft to be considered duck meat, if the duck dish was good then they would have received 5 stars.

2019-12-29I believe this is the first time Ive given an average review! Normally I wouldnt post but Id already decided that I was going to post before going in. So, this restaurant is in a strip mall and I feel as though they utilized the space they had but I feel like the layout could have been better, but who cares, right? The restroom was clean, the food was edible, even if the sauce for the salad was a bit watery. I ordered panang curry with scallops (adventurous, arent I) it was good, but I didnt take my leftovers for later. This is a spot to stop in when youre over in the area, not a neighborhood go-to spot.
