The Bibb Mill was perfect in every single way for our wedding! I actually ended up booking the venue before ever seeing it in person - and when I visited to do our first walk through only a month before our big day, I was blown away. It is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are attentive and kind. Lindsey, our point of contact, was always readily available and made sure we had everything we needed while we got ready at the venue the morning of. All of our guests said it was the most unique and breathtaking venue for a wedding that they have ever seen!
Nice venue for a formal event. Georgia is hot! But inside is comfortable and the service is exceptional.
What a GREAT experience I had working with the Bibb Mill staff to plan a retirement party for my dad. Everything was fabulous and the staff was so accommodating! Planning something from across the state is usually a hard task to take on but Elizabeth was so quick to answer my emails and such a pleasure to work with! Kesha the banquet captain was very attentive during the event and Erica who helped us set up was wonderful! I cannot recommend this venue enough!! Thank you again to everyone for all their help!
If I could leave zero stars, I would. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. If I had known I would have to deal with Lindsay and the horrible owner, I would have never booked this venue. We were passed along to 3 different people and confirmed with them multiple times on prices and what was on the contract. Then after the wedding, we were told we had to pay $1,300 extra for alcohol because our contract only budgeted for 2 drinks per person. Then when we told them we had contracted for 3 drinks per person and confirmed with at least two other people on two separate occasions about that, we were told that was wrong and never happened. On top of that, you are forced to make a definite decision more than 24 hours in advance of your wedding about where your ceremony will be due to weather. And when we asked if we could let them know early the morning of (because weather changes constantly) Lindsay shrugged, rolled her eyes, and made comments like that is very inconvenient for them and she cant control the weather, and all your guests will leave if you try to have your wedding outside when its raining. Then she proceeded to lie about making a smart a** comment to my officiant, saying Hope youre okay with getting wet. All of these comments were made at my rehearsal the day before the wedding and all my family and friends could talk about was how rude she was and how they couldnt believe we even booked with them. We didnt even really rehearse after that because who would want to. And on top of all of that, thousands of dollars went wasted on the garden and overlook that we couldnt even use. Instead, we had to take most of our wedding pictures in a big open room they used for storage. But yet they still want to squeeze that extra money out of us all they can. If you want a stress-free wedding day, DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE.
Very nice building for events for community and organizations like weddings, parties, eating events church gatherings, social clubs and ect. Social distancing observed. Everything provided like tables, chairs, food servers, restrooms . Very well recommended by me!
Tried to attend quincenera birthday but there were no accessible ramps to enter and romled around several times and di not see none. Other than that the place looks nice from outside
New owners are great! Beautiful Venue for events of any size with multiple options for your special occasion. AWESOME views of the Chattahoochee in all spaces. Finally have great food and service in this historic venue.
Absolutely stunning venue. Gorgeous space. Friendly bartenders. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I had all my cash stolen from my wallet, which I only noticed at the end of the night when I went to tip. I cannot for sure say it was the staff, but we were spending the evening with friends and family so I doubt it was one of them. Just be careful and do not leave your valuables unattended while dancing.
Wow, what a great venue! The landscaping, the lighting, the natural beauty of the place, all of my daughters wedding guest were blown away by the grounds. Beth was wonderful to work with, professional and personable. The food was terrific and the service was too. We are very happy we choose RiverMill for this special day. Thank you.

Amazing venue with a top notch staff. We visited the venue this weekend to attend a dear friends wedding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the venue was perfect for her wedding. I loved that the staff was quick to answer questions and was professional. I would highly recommend this venue for any event.
First time here, my job DPH, had our annual Employee Appreciation Day here. The building is really nice, waiter & waitresses delivered great customer service & the food was delicious, ranch & Italian dressing was really good, especially the peach cobbler. I hope to attend another event there.
First time Id been there for a wedding. It was ok but disappointed in the set up.. The dinner was decorated beautifully. The food was just ok
We ruined our formal attire, due to lack of proper air conditioning. The salad even wilted in the heat. The bartender wasnt available for drinks during the event, due to lack of staff.The facility is beautiful inside and out, however we unfortunately experienced wilted salad, melted cheesecake dessert and water with no ice. The AC was not properly working.The facility is well maintained and aesthetically pleasing. The house decorations are beautiful, the areas are large and roomy.
Weve been to many events here. Beautiful venue. But on Feb 23rd, we were here for a Make A Wish fundraiser dinner and was disappointed with the food services. We noticed our table did not get a bread basket when the entree was brought out and thought they had forgotten since it seemed that there were many servers and there might had been some confusion. We asked our table waitress if we could get some rolls for 2 of the guests at our table, which she started she would check. She reported back that they had ran out of rolls but there were dessert tables at each end of the dining area and that we could have all the desserts we wanted. It was a nice consolation for not having some bread. After finishing our main entree of the tenderest roast beef over cheese grits, which we all loved, we headed to the dessert buffet only to find the table empty. No desserts, just stacks of empty plates. So we went to the other dessert table where a line was forming and a whisper started from the front of that line to the back of the line towards us stating that there was no more desserts. We were in disbelief! How can a place like this that book events in advance be out of food?! We were NOT told that there was more coming, just that they were out. It seemed that the workers had either poor communication skills or they werent trained appropriately. After about 15 minutes, more desserts were brought out to one of the dessert table. They were bite size and we got a couple of bites each. I hope they just had a bad night.
Considering this Building is probably over 60 years old it still has a great way of holding and entertaining gatherers for functions. The River is visible from interior, bay windows. Theres a outdoor section surrounded by flowers that hold a nice appeal. 4 stars for parking complications.

This place is beautiful!!! The employees are kind, and helpful. If you need to hold an event, and can afford rivermill. I say heck yes!! They hold weddings as well. I would say its a great location for a wedding!
Came for a military ball. Event room was very hot on a cool day. Lots of stairs to climb from parking lot for events. Has patio for smoking and bar inside where about 10 bartenders can work at once. Area for photos to be set up and for coat check.
Excellent facility to have either big or small events. Staff is friendly and the food is very good. The staff ensures that the food locations are stocked and fresh. I would recommend using the facility for your next event.
Beautiful place but out of the way. Kind of hidden, almost deserted. Our event was a surprise birthday party and the staff worked hard to keep everyone happy. The catered lunch was delicious.

Went to visit Fathchapel at their first church service and the building was beautiful but I didnt like the high stairs going into the building. I had to take a shuttle to the front door😊

Horrible they take your money.. Then act like they dont know what you are talking bout once you ask about the money they ol you back they get amnesia. The venue was hot.. They microphones didnt work once a again they didnt not wanna refund money, they talking about they gotta investigate..bs Dont go there to much for the money... They over charge for the alcohol... Just find some when else to be happy at.....

I was totally disappointed with this place especially when it was my daughter’s wedding, the event coordinator forgot quite a few things before and during the ceremony, the food was cold and tasted completely different from when we had the tasting, we had chicken and beef in our menu but the cutlery was forgotten and when I requested this problem to be fix it took the waiters 30 minutes to come back with it……a complete disappointment.

2021-11-10I cannot say enough good things about this venue or the staff! I found it because of its luscious, greenery-enveloped and exposed brick arches. The fact that its right off the Chattahoochee River is a lovely bonus! We got to do our paper lantern release at night - a truly beautiful and MAGICAL moment! The bridal suite was lovely to get ready in - complete with mimosas and we brought in our own fruits and snacks for the gals. The drinks were great, food was lovely. The Director, Kim, was so lovely, helpful, highly competent and professional. Such a wonderful resource for us! They are everything you expect a venue to be and more. This place runs like a well-oiled machine. Thanks for making our special day so darling, filled with wonderment and memorable!

2021-11-02A truly gorgeous venue, everyone was so easy to work with and so incredibly helpful during the 6 months of planning and on the night of our wedding. We thought that the staff would simply set up and be gone the whole day/night, but they were there with us until the clean up at the end and were amazing. Constantly asking what else we needed and if everything was exactly how we wanted, which it was EXACTLY what we wanted thanks to their staff! Bartender was also amazing and all our guests raved about how good she was and she had everyones drinks memorized. The food was amazing and they were so nice to put an appetizer plate at our head table for us! Everyone kept telling us how beautiful the venue was and no one could believe something like this existed in our small corner of Georgia! Highly highly recommend.

2022-06-20I went to a fashion show that was held at Bibb Mill Event center and instantly fell in love. Its so pretty, I very much so got that rustic chic vibe. The wood and metal so strong and the lighting was so delicate and romantic. The ambiance of the water at night with the twinkle of stars, ignite my soul. It was difficult navigating to the spot, but man oh man, Im in love!

2019-09-23I had my wedding reception at the Bibb Mill last weekend and it was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! I wouldnt have had nearly the same wedding if we had chosen anywhere else and it fit perfectly with what I had hoped for! Lindsay was our event coordinator and she was amazing- answering every question, meeting us on visits, being very open about prices and recommending vendors to help me along the way as I planned my own wedding. I cannot say enough about the Bibb Mill-- my family thought we chose the venue first and not Columbus! THANK YOU Bibb Mill for making my wedding unforgettable!
