The Compound event center is a very nice venue. Able to hold a large guest count and plenty of room to move around.

My sister rented this building for my niece sweet 16. Everything was going according to plan until she arrived an hour early to set up for the party and was told that they cant open it up until 4pm. My sister only had the building for two hours and the party starts at 4pm. Now we have to decorate for the party and still try to enjoy ourselves especially for the birthday girl. I dont recommend nobody to rent this building unless you dont need to decorate for real. The building not clean at all and not worth the time or your money. Both owners was there when it was time to go and most of the time there child was watching and eating the food as well. I guess my sister was fine with it because he was over there eating with the guests as well too. For what I seen and experience being there for my sister and niece. I want rent this place at all or recommend it to no one. Oh yeah by the way who includes set up time in the rental hours. Because from the pictures I see if your not having wedding then you cant get set up time before the event.

The host Solo, is the most down to earth person you could know. I always feel at home when i am at the Compound. And the food is not bad. If you are single this is a perfect place to meet beautiful women of substance.

It is a nice medium sized venue. I was the Dee Jay for a Birthday party and the patrons all seemed to like it.

Nice spot to rent for parties. Good location. Plenty of room for 150 people.
